Lee was hanging out in the hallway with Moon. Miguel and Sam walked past them. "So, he's going back to his ex after your rejection." She watches the couple.

"It wasn't like that." Lee shook her head.

"He asked for you guys to give it a go and you said no. That's rejection." She points out.

"Where's Yasmine?" She looked around for the blonde.

"Probably somewhere making out with Demetri." Moon made kissing noises.

She laughed. "I think it's more like this." She stuck her tongue out and wiggle it around.

Piper slamming her locker door shut made the laughter stop. Lee turned her head to see her staring daggers at her. "You deserve better than some dojo groupie." She said to Moon as she walked past them.

"It's not like you to slut shame," Moon yelled at her back.

"I thought you guys had a mutual breakup." She didn't need another enemy.

"She has it in her head that I ended it because you became single." She admits.

After pausing for a moment she asked. "Did you?"

"No, I mean the timing was coincidental. We weren't gelling. I don't think I'm into the jock types. I tried them but it didn't work out." She shrugs.

"You'll find your chakra, yoga, hottie." She hoped that Moon would find her person.

She tensed when she felt arms wrap around her waist. "What are you ladies chit-chatting about?"

"Kyler, stop being a disgusting pig." Moon scrunches up her nose.

"What?" He lifted his body from her but kept a hand on her hip. "I'm just being affectionate."

"It's unwanted." Lee moved to stand beside Moon. "I know Kreese told you to mess with me to get to Eagle Fang but stop it. I'm not on the mat so leave me out of it."

"You don't think my feelings are authentic." He put a hand on his chest.

"Man, I heard you were making moves on my girl." Hawk throws an arm around Lee's shoulders.

Kyler's face paled. "I thought you guys broke up."

"Once Hawk's girl, always Hawk's girl." He glares.

"Whatever man, I didn't know." He backs away.

"Get off of me," Lee said through gritted teeth.

"What, no thank you?" He put his hands in his pockets.

"I want all of you cobra kai assholes to leave me alone." It was like Johnny said they were coming for her: shouting perverted things at her, leaving her dirty notes, making up rumors, and everything in between. Miguel, Mitch, and Bert had to use all their self-control not to attack them.

"No one is hurting you." He shrugs. "Come on, I thought you liked being friends with your ex." He glanced at Moon.

"Then be a friend." Moon pulled her away from him.

Lee was holding out a frisbee for the Eagle Fangs students to hit out of her hand. She let out a yip of surprise when Bert kicked it. She didn't expect him to have that much strength. "Good Bert, remind me not to piss you off. Assface, you next." Johnny nods to the chubby teen.

Bert checks Lee's wrist. "I'm fine." She assured him.

"Does my nickname have to carry over from the previous dojo?" He stepped up.

"You wanna be penis breath?" Johnny grabbed the frisbee from her to hold it higher than she could.

"What's wrong with having penis on your breath?" Lee smirks.

"Moneypenny be appropriate, there are children here." He nodded to Bert.

"I'm not a child." He denies.

"Assface is fine." Mitch sighes.

He did a spinning kick to knock it out of his hand. "Good, Penis Breath…. Alright Diaz you're up." Miguel stepped up. "Imagine this is the guy I stole the frisbee from, just picture his stupid white dreads." He held it up. Miguel was able to reach it but not kick it out of his hand. "Alright, good hustle, who's up next?"

"No, I can do it, Sensei." Miguel wanted to try again.

"Miguel, it's fine." She didn't want him to get hurt.

"I got it." He nods to her then looks at Johnny with determination.

"Get in the side stance, use the balls of your feet." He held out the frisbee. He tried again but was six inches away from the target and fell.

"Miguel." She kneels next to him.

"I'm fine." He sat up and ignored her hand. "I'M FINE!" He yelled when he saw all the guys surround him. He jumped up to his feet. It was one thing for Lee to be worried, she was always worried. But, these guys used to look at him like he was an unstoppable force. He couldn't take their eyes of pity.

"Take five, everyone. Get some water but not from the fountain. I saw some meth head washing his ass in it." Johnny broke the tension.

Lee went to drink from a hydro flask that was decorated in anime stickers. "How do you think I can get a better nickname? At this point, I'll even take Mitch. I mean Bert, Bert. I'm better than him." He asked the group.

"What? You might be stronger but I'm faster." Bert scoffs.

"Stop showing that it bothers you. Sensei loves to mess with people." She advises.

Mitch's phone beeped, making him look at it. "You gotta be shitting me!"

"Maybe use different wording if you want a new nickname." Lee teases, making the guys laugh.

"What? What happened?" Miguel turned around.

"They canceled the All Valley." He told them.

"They did what?" Johnny yelled.

Lee grabbed his phone to read the article. "The city pulled the permit because they believe promoting karate is fostering a culture of violence. Since that was the fighting style used in the school incident." She summaries.

"Am I ever going to stop paying for that?" Miguel muttered under his breath but they heard him.

"You have to go to the city council meeting to convince them." She looks at Johnny.

"I can do that." He nods.

"I'll text you some facts." She offers.

"I won't need them. I got this." He points to his heart.

"Oh… okay… um…" She tried to find a way to say that won't be enough.

"Well, I'm not worried." Bert's words dripped with sarcasm. Johnny completely missed it as he patted the smaller male's head.

Lee got a call from Miguel to pick him up. "What's the emergency?" She sped over thinking she had to take him to the hospital.

"Take me to city hall." He told her.

"What?" She leaned her head back to look at him.

"They are banning the All Valley because of what happened to me, so who better to change their mind than me? Now, come on, let's get going." He hit the dashboard.

"Alright, alright." She got back on the road. She drove there with Miguel rushing her. "Stop, we're here." She parked the car. They ran to the city council room.

They walked in to see a lady talking to Johnny, Kreese, and Daniel. "You gentlemen have made an excellent case today as to why this tournament should not continue."

"Wait!" Miguel yelled. Everyone turned to look at them. He walked down to the podium while Lee took a seat next to Johnny. "My name is Miguel Diaz. I was in the school fight. I was the one that got kicked off the second floor. You know, uh I thought I was going to be paralyzed. I relearned how to stand. I relearned how to walk. And I want the tournament to continue."

"We are very happy for your recovery, young man. But I'm afraid you don't understand." She was going to dismiss him.

Lee and Sam stood up. "No, you don't understand." Lee pointed at her.

Johnny pulled her down. "Our tactics don't work here," He whispered.

"Yes, he does." Sam got up to walk down to stand by Miguel. "We are the ones getting hurt. We are the ones fighting. Our voice should matter the most. And we want a place to compete, fairly and safely."

"When I first moved here, I was bullied. I realized there was no escaping it. There's always going to be a kid who wants to steal your lunch money, or give you a wedgie, or a swirlie." He needed karate because it was there for him when no one else could be.

"A swirlie?" She asked.

Johnny stood up to explain. "It's when you dunk a kid's head in the toilet and flush it…. Pretty fun actually."

"Who is she kidding? She knows what swirlie is. You know it happened to her a few times." She leaned over to whisper. Kreese snickers while Daniel puts his head in his hands.

"Lee gets Sensei." Miguel hissed. Lee tugged him down by the back of his jacket. He took a deep breath to continue his point. "You can't bury your head in the sand and pretend bullying doesn't exist or that you can just get rid of it. What you need to do is teach kids to defend themselves."

"Mentally and physically because the scar you can't see hurt the most," Sam adds on.

"Listen, kids. I understand the sentiment but fighting violence with violence solves nothing. History has taught us that." Another counselor member spoke up.

Lee stood up. "I'm Presley Cole. I don't do karate but almost all my friends do. The scariest moment in my life was seeing Miguel hit that railing. The way his back bent unnaturally. When I heard that he might never walk I wished more than anything I could go back to the day he asked me to help with the dojo and tell him that he didn't need karate. But, that would have been a lie. Karate has gotten a bad rep these past few months. I know that you've only seen the bad side, but there is so much good to it." She put her hand on Miguel's shoulder for him to take over.

"Karate is discipline, it's about inner strength. It's about confidence. Lessons you can use for the rest of your life. Look, I don't know where I would be today, who I would be today if it wasn't for my sensei." He looks back at Johnny who was smiling proudly. "We don't need a tournament to do cool kicks or to sell tickets, we need it to show the bullies of the world we are not afraid. It is called the All Valley because it's for everyone, to give everyone the chance to show what they can do, to fight, to become a champion. We deserve the chance."

"Taking away the tournament isn't going to stop karate, you're just taking away a safe place for it to happen." Lee wanted that to be their last thought.

The lady in the middle looked on each side of her to see she was getting nods for her peers. "To be honest, I don't get the Valley's fascination with karate. But… if it means that much to all of you and you're willing to sign a waiver that the city is not liable then the All Valley under 18 tournament is officially back on." She bangs her gavel.

The teen shared a group hug before they turned around to hug their Senseis. "Good going, Miguel." Johnny praised him before turning to Lee. "So many good points, especially that last one. They couldn't have done it without you." He picked her up to spin her around.

Daniel and Sam look on in surprise that he could be sweet and gentle. "Lee is Sensei's favorite." Miguel laughs at their shocked faces.

Johnny put her back on her feet. "Not even, your Johnny's favorite." She could never hold a candle to their bond.

"What? Anytime you bump into something. He gets you an ice cream sandwich. I get a kick to the face and he tells me to suck it up." He shook his head.

"You need to suck it up with all that whining. Come on, we'll get that sushi you like and I'll have the Chicken cat-sue." He nodded to Lee.

"Katsu." Lee corrected.

"That's what I said." He couldn't hear the differences.

"I can go for sushi." Sam looks at her dad.

"Sure, why not?" He sighs.

"What?" Johnny did a double take.

"We share a common enemy, so why not be friendly with each other." Miguel agreed. If their Senseis got along then it would be easier for Sam and him.

"Fine." He sighs.

They walk out to see the LaRusso's car gone. "Mr. LaRusso, we had to make your wife leave the premises."

Daniel walks away to make a phone call. They stood in awkward silence until he came back. "She's going to meet us at the restaurant. Can we get a ride with you?" He asked the teen.

"You'd rather ride with a teen than me." Johnny was offended.

"She probably got a better record than you." He wasn't even sure if Johnny was sober right now.

The teens look exhausted that they were already fighting. "I'll race you Sensei." She ran to her car.

"Crap, come on Miguel." He ran to his car.

"We are not racing." Daniel made his way to the Porsche.

They found themselves sitting around a table. "I can't believe they made me get off the premises." Amanda went home to pick up Anthony to have dinner with them.

He was grumpy about it until he saw the curvy older teen. "It's a restraining order, mom." He ended her complaining while keeping his eyes on his new crush. "So, do you do karate?"

"Oh no, I run the website and social media accounts. I also do the paperwork." She sips a cup of hot green tea.

"Oh, so you're good with technology. I'm pretty good at that myself." He puffs his chest out in pride to the amusement of everyone but Johnny.

"Yeah, what's your specialty?" She put an elbow on the table and rested her cheek on her palm. "I'm good at a lot of techs but I would say video games. Dungeon Lord is a favorite of mine." He told her.

"I'm a Valkyrie." She pulled the switch out of her purse to show him. "I based her off of my Dungeons and Dragons character."

"You play dungeons and dragons." He stared at her in awe.

"Don't cum in your pants. Who is this LeRusso? Did you adopt someone else's son?" He pulled her chair close to him.

"This is my son." Daniel shook his head.

"What? Your son is short and fat." He searches the young preteen trying to find the kid he saw before.

"It's called puberty, asshole." He grabbed the switch to make them friends, so they could play together later. "So, we can talk in privacy." He winks.

"You're adorable." She giggled. He beamed at the older girl.

"You can do so much better," Johnny whispers to his pseudo daughter.

"I'm going to inherit a lot of money." He brags.

"She doesn't need your money. Her dad has his own car dealership." He argued.

"Oh Cole, like Tom Cole." Daniel cleared his throat.

"Yeah, that's the guy." She nods.

"Oh that's right, he's your rival." Johnny shoves a piece of chicken into his mouth.

"We could join dealerships and take over the whole Valley." Anthony daydreamed.

"That would be great if you guys could be business partners and do that." Amanda nods.

"Partners, we have my mom's approval." He smiles brightly. Daniel laughed, happy to see his son's social skills weren't ruined by the screen.

"I can't with this kid," Johnny mutters.

"It's cute, Sensei." Miguel thought it was innocent like Bert.

"Am I going to have to switch her bodyguard to Mitch?" He tilts his head.

"Bodyguard?" Daniel asks.

"Is this because of Kyler?" Sam saw the teen hollering at her in the hallways.

"Kyler like your ex?" Anthony dips a California roll into a wasabi mixture before eating.

"We went on a few dates. He wasn't my boyfriend." She denies.

"He is harassing her. Kreese is trying to hit our weak spots." Johnny told them.

"I told you he was no good." Daniel turned to his wife who rolled her eyes.

"Something we can agree upon." Johnny nods.

"Well, look at that." Amanda smiled.

Lee went home to eat mochi ice cream and watch Black Clover while she played some Dungeon Lord with Anthony. She was scared by the doorbell at midnight. "What the hell?" She grabbed her phone to see that she didn't have any texts from her friends. She looked at the doorbell camera. "What the hell?" She got up to answer the door.

She was surprised at seeing Robbie. "What are you doing here?"

"Do you know your boyfriend is seeing Sam?" He told her.

"Hawk?" She thought of the only boyfriend she ever had. She couldn't imagine that either of them would be interested in each other.

"No Miguel, Tory said you guys were going out." He stepped into the fancy house.

"Oh no, Miguel and I are friends. Why are you surprised? Did you think Sam was waiting for you? Was she writing to you?" She moved out of his way.

"I mean no… I just…. I don't know." He paces.

"Did you come here to tell me that? To try to ruin something for Miguel." She walked into the kitchen.

"Can you blame me for wanting to hurt him?" He didn't know why he followed her when he should have just left.

"I don't know, if I'm honest I don't get all the hype around Sam. Sure, she's pretty and seems like a decent person. But, is anyone worth your freedom?" She tosses him a water bottle.

He caught it. "Maybe you never loved someone."

"Maybe, or maybe I know my self-worth, something you don't seem to have much of." She thought of his background. "Although the more I think about it, is your hatred for Miguel about Sam or your daddy?"

"Do you have a death wish?" He grips the bottle tightly.

"Maybe, I did let an attempted murder in my house." She shrugs.

He scoffed. "I don't know what I was thinking coming here. I'm leaving." He went to walk out.

"Look Robbie, I don't know what you're going to do. But, holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." She told him.

"What would you know about anger? Living in your perfect mansion with everyone adoring you." He turned around to glare at her.

"There is this girl at my school. She made up a game called 'make the fatty jiggle'. She gave out fifty dollars to people who threw anything with enough force to make me shake. At the time I wanted to pull all her teeth out with a pair of pliers. Tomorrow, we're getting mani-pedis and going prom dress shopping." She didn't let his glare faze her. "I'm not saying you have to be buddies with your dad or Miguel but, when you let go of anger and just live life, things get better."

"I tried that already, but it didn't work." He walks out of the house. He realized that maybe Tory was right, things weren't the same for people like them. They didn't get their happy ending without fighting every step of the way.
