Author's Notice:
The reason I haven't worked on my Genshin Zelda crossover for a very long time, as well as my Disney Smash Bros game idea, is that, one, I had a really hard time planning out a novel-type storyline for the Legend of Genshin, and two, I've been losing my interest in Disney, given all the recent controversies and the fact that it just doesn't hold the same nostalgia and magic anymore, in my opinion.
Another thing to note is that Starhammer 50k is my most popular fanfiction production, and I want to keep working on it. I really want to have Wave 1 finished by August 2023.
I've finally given up on Disney in terms of pop culture interests, the studio that made my childhood and countless others. It doesn't feel the same anymore, and I've decided that the Smash game idea isn't worth writing about.
As for the Genshin Impact Zelda crossover, I want to be more efficient, and novels just really aren't my style.
I'm much better at the anthology approach, as I've said before, and I suck at writing stories that have one long, perfectly connected, consistent and unified plot.
Why write like that, when I can do a bunch of little individual stories that are still connected and part of the same book? You know what they say, write what you love!
So here's the plan:
I'm going to make just ONE MORE CHAPTER for the current Legend of Genshin fanfic, then I'll reboot the story, and take a different path.
This time, in the anthology version, Link and Lumine will be traveling to random parts of Hyrule and getting caught up in all kinds of shenanigans, like cross-dressing in Gerudo Town, sparring with the Champions, gliding alongside the Rito, climbing Death Mountain, and LOTS MORE!
In addition, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is going to release in May. I want my fanfictions to be stacked full of content by the time it arrives.
This is how I do things best. Sorry if you wanted to see the Legend of Genshin become a full blown novel fanfic, I want to take a different method of writing it, so I can entertain the audience as best as I can.
And of course, there will be more fanfiction anthologies on Spuddies Productions in the future. You haven't even seen 10 percent of the ideas I have crammed in my brain.
Thank you for being patient enough to read this,
-Dr. Spuddies.
