Cat tapped her finger as she waited. In the years since Hollywood Arts, she'd experimented in relationships with a variety of boys and men, often worrying that she was just a serial monogamist. She'd become so worried she had to look up monogamist, just to find out what she was being accused of doing. Then, she had to figure out why it was so bad. In the end, she called Jade, who not only explained what Cat had become, but also let her know that there were loads of reasons she may wind up following that kind of pattern. 'She said Rob was way effeminate. Then, she told me what effeminate meant, like I didn't know!' Cat let her frustration linger for a moment. 'Okay, I kinda forgot, for that moment, but once she told me, I totally knew what it meant. I just, I don't get why that would be bad? Why can't a guy be a little girly. Jade's a touch guyish, in her own, hyper girly way, cause boobs. Why is it boobs make her girly, along with her taste in dresses, and lipstick, and making others make decisions for her, just so she can shoot them down, cause bossy.' Cat smiled, convinced she'd reached a point.
"I'm here." The mid height Afro-American woman announced as she found her way to the spot Cat had seized for herself in the Asphalt Cafe, just outside Hollywood arts. It was a nostalgic place she could head to when she needed to feel more like a kid. Today, it was also the place she'd chosen to meet up with an odd option for her future.
"Thanks for coming." Cat greeted her, standing and offering a hand. Sherry, the top heavy kissy girl who'd once dated Andre didn't take it, instead sitting on the bench and looking across at the one time redhead. "Okay, before we begin, I need some information. Sad as it sounds, despite you once dating one of my best friends, I know absolutely nothing about you." Her head shifted slightly, now looking at the other girl at a slight angel. "Other then you can make out with a guy for hours. Not the best thing to hang your hat on. So, Sherry, tell me some of your interest?"
"I'm heavy into classic jazz." The girl noted. "So, why am I here again?"
"To get to know one another." Cat insisted.
"Your email said you needed to know something, and maybe had an opportunity for me." Sherry said. "I came here because I was intrigued, but if we have to share our deepest secrets…"
"I'm lonely." Cat cut her off. "We're entertainers, and I thought, once I got all famous and such, I'd have all the best boys vying for my attention." She sighed. "Only, I only kinda made it, and even then, I'm so grateful for Jade looking out for me, cause this industry's full of users. And Robbie, why didn't anyone tell me that a sense of humor could be sexy, cause when he got tired of waiting for me, he went and married into the Cohen clan. Boys got a rich daddy in law, and is taken care of for life, even if his comedy is still lacking."
"Still not seeing what this has to do with me." Sherry stated.
"Did you know Jade's with Tori now?" Cat asked. "She suspected that a lot of us were gay." A shyness descended on the petite girl. "Um, I really like Andre's new boyfriend, by the way. He's super sweet."
"Had no idea, and suddenly you wanting to know more about me makes loads of sense." The taller girl said, sighing. "So, are you thinking of me cause I like to make out, or because I have big tits?"
"Neither." Cat giggled. "I realized the reason all you wanted from Andre was the same as my constant attraction to the hot boys. It was purely physical. Never was gonna be an emotional connection. Not for you. Not with guys."
"So you felt you'd call me up, see if I was willing to try being with a girl?" Sherry was really feeling uncomfortable by this turn of events.
"Pla-eeze." Cat scoffed, a strange, cunning smile crossing her face. "You've been considering it from the moment you figured out what I wanted. Otherwise, you'd have told me no by now. I mean, I'm a big girl, I can take rejection. If I'm wrong, then tell me, and I get over it. Jade, she's taken, and miles from here, so you don't have to worry about what she might do…"
"How is it she's not in jail?" Sherry wondered. "Sorry, I get that you're friends. I just, she comes across as this totally nut job."
"Sent more then one of my would be suitors running." Cat agreed. "But Tori keeps her under control, by keeping her secure. Not sure how that works, just, they both seem happy, and I really wanna be happy, so I figured why not at least ask, right?"
"Okay, I've been considering it." Sherry admitted. "I can do this, and for the record, I like puppies. Not tits, thought they can be fun to play with, but young dogs. I love dogs, cats, and lets be honest, animals in general. I considered becoming a vet, except I had little talent for science, so I chose entertainment, and from there, I wound up working in an office." She shrugged. "Not in entertainment so much these days, unless you count my work as an assistant to a casting agency."
"You like your work?" Cat asked.
"Just need a touch of security in my life to move to something else." The taller girl admitted, breaking down her barriers. "I've been looking into a few dream projects, and figured my best shot is to break into training. My entertainment skills can be put to use, and I can help others learn valuable skills."
"So you wanna teach?" Cat guessed.
"I'm becoming a professional wing girl." Sherry said, breaking into a long description. Cat saw how alive the girl came, each description of helping guys learn to flirt being a new experience.
'Yea, this is gonna work.' Cat decided, noticing how she tracked the rise and fall of the others girls chest throughout their conversation. 'Yea, gonna be licking those sooner then later. But, at least I have someone now. Just, gonna be a ride, cause I know, from experience, girls be crazy.'

Lets just leave that there, and hope it was somewhat entertaining. Sometimes, when you try something new, you gotta negotiate. Then, dating, and we'll leave that to your imagination.
