Harry rested for 10 minutes while reviewing the latest documents the ICW had sent him to fully understand the scope of what he could do.

In order to push their latest resolution through, the gave him a new title/position. He was no longer registered as a Senior Hit-wizard.

He remembered reading about the position in the ICW charter and by-laws but knew he didn't have enough time to find it. He decided to call in a favor he had been holding for a while.

His mirror call connected.

"Ted, I need your help. I have no time, and this is a matter of life and death."

Ted Tonks, his legal counselor, immediately became serious. "I am listening."

"I believe you should still have the copy of the ICW charter and by-laws. Take it and get to the Department of Mysterious as soon as possible. Tell them I am calling in my debt and demand the use of a time turner. I know that protocol regulates I need to be there but there isn't time. The words Pink Hippogriff should confirm that it is my request. If they don't budge tell them that it is a class A catastrophe, confirmation words: Vidus Oprea. Go back in time and find out everything you can about the position Grand Imperator. I will drop the document in question into a transport box. The DoM should receive it by the time you are there. I need to find out what my limits are in regard to my new position. Call me back but not at Harry Potter, use my Harrison Black mirror."

"I understand." Ted said and then was gone.

By the time he scarfed down the sandwich Dobby placed in front of him, Ted was calling his second Mirror.

"What can I do?" Harry asked as Ted appeared.

"A lot. I don't think they understood what they were allowing when the granted you that position, maybe some did but who knows." The man answered and then went into the details.

When Harry hung up his mind was already calculating plans. He called Pepper and told her to leave town or portkey to his place and hide behind the wards. When she arrived, she had a lot of questions, but Harry didn't have time.

He raised the wards to their maximum setting and the towards to Dobby.

"I need you to get helps from any elves that are willing." He said while pulling out the cylinder on his belt and passing it to the elf. "Please make as many runic talismans as possible and bind them to the 'Guiding Light'."

"Yes sir, Master Potter."

Harry then dug through a few trunks until he found his master mirror and the pensive he created for his Rune Mastery. He then tinkered with the settings of the mirror and made sure to disconnect his own from it, along with Tony's.

He took a moment to arrange the words in his head and then apparated into the center of Nilla Square.

He drew several people's attention when he charmed the large mirror to float before him and conjured a stand for the pensive.

He then reached out his wand and pressed it to the mirror.

"Contact All."

Even though no image appeared he could tell it was broadcasting as several people in the square began to answer their mirrors.

"Hello everyone, I am Lord Harry Potter. But that is not the title I am using to contact you right now. I am speaking to you as Grand Imperator Potter. I was granted this title by the ICW so that I can perform feats of magic in front of non-magical people. While some of you are most likely intrigued others are understandably outraged. Let me explain why this decision came to be."

Harry touched his wand to his temple and pulled out a silvery wisp of light and dropped it into the pensive before activating it on projection mode.

"As you can see, there is a magical man active in the non-magical world. This man is outside the laws governing us because he does not come from our planet. This is the Asgardian Loki Odinson. No this is not a joke. The God of Lies has come to our world. This very man is several thousand years old and well versed in the practices of magic. What is most alarming is this…"

Harry tapped his wand on the pensive as the projection froze. Loki had his scepter outstretched while blasting a bolt of blue energy into a crowd.

"This scepter is an extremely dangerous magical artifact. Right now, he is completely under its control. This mind control is nothing like the Imperious, it is actively implanting fake memories in the gods head and warping him to its own needs. The ICW elevated me to my current position to deal with him. We all have different thoughts on the Statute of Secrecy. But I think we can agree on one thing. Whether we reveal ourselves is a decision that is ours and ours alone. I am acting in the open solely to leave us an option. If the mundane world hates and despises magic, then the decision will no longer be ours."

In the ICW voting chambers every member had their mirrors out and paid attention.

"Potter, just what are you doing?" Sinclair mumbled to himself.

"While everyone is entitled to their opinion on the matter, now is not the time to debate. I am giving you this information only to preface what I have to say next."

Harry took a deep breath and placed his wand over his heart.

"As Grand Imperator I herby declare New York City and all territories within 100 miles under martial law. So mote it be."

With a flash a ripple of light spread through Nilla Square. The citizens who had been watching him suddenly started clamoring for an explanation.

*Boom*

Harry fired his wand into the air.

"QUIET!" He barked.

The people looked to man who was speaking. They no longer saw a diplomatic politician who was explaining the situation. No, before them was Harry Potter, the Man-Who-Won, the warrior who battled the darkest of monster.

"I have used a time turner to come back and inform you all we now face a threat never seen before in the history of our magical world."

Harry returned the memory from his pensive and deposited a new one. He started the projection and spoke again.

"A little over three hours from now, the scepter will open a portal in the heart of New York city. An alien race known as the Chitari will come through in full force. They plan to kill and destroy until we fall under heel. I have already killed thousands and will destroy many more. But people of the magical world, I need your help."

Inside the Chudley Cannons locker room.

"Bloody hell, Ron, isn't that your mate?"

Ron didn't answer because he was too shocked while staring at his own mirror. He watched as harry talked and the projection showed countless Chitari swarming the city while Harry was right in the middle of it all.

Several years ago, he might have been jealous of the attention Harry was getting. Being able to speak to and be seen by every person with a mirror. Thankfully he was a lot more even minded now.

If Harry asked, he would go running to New York to help his best friend. But in his heart, he thanked the stars he was in England, far, far away from the mess that Harry got dragged into.

Suddenly Ron heard his teammates ask again.

"Its Harry alright. Lads, I need to rush home. Chances are mom is already going spare."

"Citizens of New York and the surrounding area, either evacuate the area or enter a location with strong wards and raise them to the maximum settings. Those of you who know first generation magical children and can apparate. I want parents and guardians found within the hour. Contact all non magicals that are aware of our world and evacuate them. Although it is cruel, we cannot let them inform the mundane that they are about to be under attack. I remind you again that I came back with a time turner and from my perspective the mundane were caught unaware."

Harry looked to the crowd that had formed around him that was openly gawking at the battle happening in his pensive.

"GO NOW!" He roared, and the people were suddenly moving to gather their children.

"The attack that is coming may start in the mundane world, but the Chitari are coming for the magical world as well. Before I came back, I was able to see three continents break off and head to the magical communities of New York. Thankfully I have no idea what lay in wait for them."

Harry raised his wand to his heart again.

"This is an order from Grand Imperator Potter. All active and reserve Aurors and Hit-wizards in the area under martial law are being called to serve. The defense of our magical communities and hospitals are to take priority. Your orders are to defend all Earth life while upholding the Statute of Secrecy. So Mote it Be."

*Flash*

"All licensed Obliviators in the area under martial law are to report to the nearest hospitals. You will do your job and maintain the Statute of Secrecy. So mote it be."

*Flash*

"All licensed healers and medi-witches and wizards in the area under martial law will report to a hospital. You will set up a triage center and prepare to treat All beings, regardless of if they are magical or not. So mote it be."

*Flash*

The Minister of Magics door was pushed open but nobody in the office even noticed.

"Kingsley. Get me a damn portkey to New York."

The minister sighed and glanced from his mirror to Mad-eye Moody who had just burst into his office.

"I can't just whip up a portkey Moody. I don't even know the coordinates."

"Then write something on a piece of paper so I can go yell at someone else."

"Gladly." Said Kingsley Shacklebolt as he grabbed his quill.

"To my friends of the goblin nation, I cannot and will not order you. But I can do this. Goblin kind has the right to honorably defend magical land and communities while the location is under martial law. So mote it be."

Even with Harry on the other side of the square and the banks doors closed, he could hear the roars of approval from the local Gringotts branch.

"To those of you in the area with house elves, I ask that you grant me their aid if you are not in need of them. Every elf willing and able to help will take one of these." Harry said while holding up a runic talisman.

While he did so, Dobby appeared and placed thousands next to him in a pile.

"In the beginning of the battle I will activate a device called Guiding Light. The device, while unremarkable, will send a ball of white light from me to every talisman and there the light will stay. I ask that any elf that can help, remain invisible and evacuate those who are wounded or in immediate danger to the triage centers that are being set up around the city. With this, the mundane will believe that I am using some fancy spell and all attention will be on me while we maintain the Statute of Secrecy."

Even while he spoke, several hundred house elves popped in, grabbed a talisman and then retreated.

"Portioners and herbologist, if you are willing, I hope you can find it in you to donate to help our cause. We have a lot of pain and hurt heading our way, but I intend to do everything in my power to minimize it as much as I can."

Hogwarts Great Hall

The students were talking in hushed whispers while they ate dinner and were glued to their mirrors but suddenly they were silenced when the headmaster stood up.

"All NEWT Herbology students will be assisting Professor Sprout and Assistant Professor Longbottom in harvesting. All NEWT potion students will be assisting Professor Tonks and myself. Minerva, I will be in my lab if you need me."

"I know this will be a trying time so I will only give this warning once. Those of you who seek to cause havoc or decided to use this time of distress to enrich yourself through illegal means, under martial law, I am judge, jury, and executioner. As I have said, thousands have already fallen under my sword and wand today, countless more are to come. If you decide to do what you shouldn't then I will find you. Not today, maybe not tomorrow, but I will find you. Trust me when I say you will prefer a goblin execution compared to what I will do for you."

Harry's eyes turned cold as ice as the power of the deathly hollows coursed through his body.

"This is not a fight between magicals like our Dark Lords tend to stir up. This is not a fight between magic and mundane like the Crusades and witch burnings. This is a fight between earth and the sorry fools who came to our rock and thought they could take it from us."

Harry's eyes turned soft as he stared directly into the mirror.

"Do not disappoint me magical world." He whispered to the people watching before shutting down the mirror.

While Harry stored his pensive a goblin approached while escorted by 50 heavily armored guards. The being that led them wore a crown made of bones with a large war axe resting on his shoulder.

"Grand Imperator Potter."

"I don't believe we have had the chance to meet." Harry answered in the goblin language.

"Ha, but I have heard much about you from my cousin Ragnok. I am the clan leader of the eastern division of Gringotts in the states. You may call me Gedon."

"Greetings Gedon." Harry said with a half bow that the goblin returned.

"My people and I will defend the magical lands to our last breath. While we may be fighting on different battlefields, I look forward to fighting together."

"As do I. I thank you for your aid in trying times."

"I am amazed by the ability of your mirror to reach so many at once. I hopped to be able to make an announcement of my own."

Harry raised an eyebrow at that.

"Gringotts will provide sanctuary behind our wards to any that need it."

"Once again I find myself owing you thanks."

"It is only right, though I do have a bit of a selfish request."

"As long as it is not over the line." Harry nodded. He was already surprised that the goblins would actually offer sanctuary.

"I would like to borrow your mirror and use it to display what our scrying goblins can see. Our overseas brothers and sisters are already vexed since they are not able to join the fight. I wish to at least allow them to witness the battles."

Harry could understand that. From what he knew about goblin scrying, it had a limited range. Those far away would not be able to see what was happening here.

He nodded, it was an easy enough request. "I see no problem with that. Activate the mirror like normal but say 'connect standby all' this will change the default screen of every mirror to what it shows. When someone chose to make a call, they will disconnect from standby mode for the duration of the call, allowing lines of communication to remain open."

"Fascinating." Gedon said as he took the large mirror that Harry was handing him. "After our victory I would like to sit down and discuss a project we have been considering for a while. But that is for another time, I have plans to make."

"Another time then." Harry said as he then watched Gedon return to the bank while more goblins spread out and ventured to other magical areas.

Harry sat down cross-legged. With his sword in his lap. He would need to start storing magic in it to utilize its full capabilities without depleting his own stores. In a few hours he would be back in battle.

He meditated while contemplating several plans of attack.

Harry was interrupted several times, but he expected that. Several officials came to him looking for directions. He didn't really know why. They were the bureaucrats; they should know how to do that.

They quickly established a chain of command through the New York MACUSA office and started to set up a working command in the hospitals and the magical communities.

A cloaked individual from the MACUSA Department of Mysterious came by with a spell that would prove to be fairly impressive if it worked. Unfortunately, they could never test it on such a large scale without violating the Statute of Secrecy. Harry saw no reason not to give it a try.

All the runic talismans beside Harry had been distributed and the square was now filled with armed goblins and witches and wizards waiting for a fight.

Dobby returned the Guiding Light to Harry and then collected the original from his storage. Harry wrote a note and then had Dobby send it off to other Harry.

The time to act was getting close. His listening charm reconnected to the medallion. He could hear Furry giving other Harry information on where help was needed.

Soon enough, Gander's screech echoed through the city.

Harry rose to his feet and pulled his hood up, activating the enchantments within. Releasing a pulse of magic caused the hilt of his sword to split open and reveal a void inside. He placed his holly wand in the opening before shutting it. With sword and wand in hand, he turned to all the beings in the square who focused on him.

"I wish you all the best of luck."

And then he apparated away.
