Once again, the gang, the main people at Hollywood Arts, had decided to spend an afternoon playing cards in the Vega household, mostly because they had the right kind of card table for them to play six to seven handed poker. Only today it was six, because Trina had decided not to play with them. Instead, the older girl had been in and out of the house, mostly in the back yard, dealing with an emotional crises. She was in the midst of an end of relationship argument with a boy she'd been dating such a short time no one in Tori's circles even knew his name. Tori just hoped this boy was letting her down easy.

"...So that's why I had to say no." Andre was explaining. "I mean, she was cute enough, but man, she was, like, twelve, and I don't date that young."

"Good call." Beck offered, once again the soul of diplomacy. Jade, for her part, was staying quiet, not wanting to disturb her friend with her own theories. Instead, she'd been watching something.

"DUDE!" The goth suddenly snapped, shocking the table. "Stop ogling Vega's tush." Boys eyes darted around, trying to guess which of them had been looking at Tori's rump. Only problem was they were sitting in that half circle they use for poker. No one was in any position to look at the sitting Latina's rear.

"No one's…" Beck started.

"Trina's ass." Came the correction.

"Sigh, no one's…" Beck tried again.

"Sorry, it's just…" Robbie stammered.

"Boy needs himself a real woman." Rex jumped in. "Even the skanks are looking good."

Beck laughed, even as Tori gave the puppet the stink eye. "That's my sister you're talking about…"

"I think she's pretty." Rob said. Then, facing across the table, he added "But not as pretty as you."

Cat giggled. "Yea, I totally get that. Plus, she has the whole crazy thing, and people like that."

"What people?" Beck demanded.

"Dude, relax." Jade was smirking now, her blue eyes tracking Tori. "We're just talking. It's not like anyone's doing anything." Then to Robbie. "Yea, hate to admit it, but crazy sometimes does it for me too. Not that I think it's enough. I mean, contrary to what some puppets think…"

"Hay, that's an offensive term." Rex complained.

"I can be generous in moments of passion." Jade finished.

"Who ever said you…" Cat started, only to eye Beck. "Not cool, dude."

"I never…" Beck acted all defensive.

"He's just insensitive." Jade told her best friend. "Maybe a woman would understand, sex, it's not a race…"

"Wait, we're not actually talking about this, are we?" Tori asked.

"Relax, I think we've moved on from your sister." Dre tried to comfort her.

"No we haven't." Jade countered. "I'm just saying, if I just wanted me some angry sex, I'm thinking Trina would be a great time." Her smirk was dangerous. "But I'm more into the feelings, falling in love, being with the person I care about, and I don't know if…" She looked for the right word.

"If two selfish ganks could get along?" Rex asked, and Robbie tried shifting to the side, forgetting for one moment that his hand was still inside the puppet.

"Wouldn't work." Cat distracted everyone. "Like, you kinda need someone to be the man, right. Like, for example, me. If I were to go gay, not saying I ever thought much about it, but if I were, I'd want a bossy pants like Jade to be the man." She smiled a surprisingly innocent smile. "Trina would, however, be a solid second choice."

"Not Sam?" Jade asked her best friend.

"We're really talking about this?" Tori asked Andre.

"No, for some reason, she just, I don't know." Cat shrugged. "We don't have that kind of relationship. I trust her, happy to have her as a friend and roommate, but Jade, I can taste the passion…." Hungry brown eyes devoured the goth. "But cause I value our friendship so much, I suppose, if I were to go all gay, I'd go for Trina. I think SHE could maintain the friendship and still be a good boyfriend."

"Trina's a girl." Tori stated.

"Now, I do agree, she can be a bit too selfish to be a good girlfriend." Cat continued. "But as a boyfriend, I think that's more her speed."

"NO!" Andre stopped the argument. "I mean, sure, physically, she's hot. I want to say she's not, but in those pants, that top, I can see why some guys want her. Just, I couldn't have a relationship with her, cause I love music, and she can't sing."

"Not what we're talking about." Rex let them know he still existed.

"I can't believe you're talking about who'd do, I don't know what, but with Trina?" Beck demanded. "I mean, right in front of Tori. I can only imagine what she must be thinking…"

"It's not like we're YOU." Robbie spat, hurt and envy naked in his voice. "We don't necessarily have women throwing themselves at us. Some of us need to look at the world in a more realistic way. We can's just assume, cause some girl is desperate to be loved, she's not worth having around."

"I have." Jade said, disrupting Robbie's intense moment. "What? Cat isn't the first girl to tell me, to my face, they'd snoodle me. So, yea, I've had a few girls almost throw themselves at me…."

"Snoodle, that's skank for sex." Cat told no one.

"But this conversation, it's really just hypothetical." Jade continued. "YOU know I don't just give it away. Not built that way. I fall in love, and then the attraction builds. I need me that connection, or your friend Moose would have gotten to more then second base. No, we were just admitting, as annoying as she is, some of us HAVE thought about doing it with Trina, and apparently, as many girls as guys."

"Don't need to be hearing this." Tori muttered. "Really, I don't."

"Did jade just compliment Trina?" Beck teased, angry at her for pushing this conversation.

"But it's just talk." Rob finished for her, offering Tori his best apologetic smile.

"Never said she wasn't hot, just that no one likes her." Jade shot back. "The kind of thing I'd happaly say to her face."

"Tori, everyone, we all agree, this is just talk…" Rob continued, now feeling the need to calm everything down before something happened. "No one here is…" he stopped as he watched the very tushie he'd been ogling earlier walking in.

The room went silent. "What? Do I have something on my face?" The older girl asked.

"No, we were just discussing who among us would snoodle you." Cat honestly answered. "Assuming we were into that kind of thing, which we're not."

"CAT!" Beck beat Tori, but only by half a syllable.

"And?" Trina wondered.

"Among the boys, Robbie and Dre, but Dre's kinda a maybe, cause he claims he's too moral for that kind of chiz." Cat explained. "But me and Jade, we both put you on our lists. Just, with me, you were a solid number two."

"Guessing I know who number one was." Trina smiled, a warm, genuine smile. Then, she saw the scowl on her sisters face. "What? You didn't think guys rated us like that? Sister, the only reason I haven't offered scary here a quick make-out session, you know, to bolster my wounded ego, is I know who she's interested in, and I wouldn't do that to family." She popped her eyebrows at her sister.

"Still holding out for Robbie, assuming I can find a way to just be friends." Cat said. "Though now, I wanna know what it's like to kiss you….."

"Tori, it's okay." The older girl tried again. "Honestly, I needed the ego boosts. Kinda shallow, but isn't what people keep saying I am? Besides, it's just talk, isn't it?"

"Ask her." Jade demanded across the table.

"But she can't sing." Andre shot back. "I've worked with her, and she just can't sing."

"And your longest relationship was with a gank who tried to buy you." Jade growled. "Just ask her, so you can get over this, and won't get all wonky, like you did over me."

"Sorry, what now?" Tori questioned.

"I…" Andre hesitated.

"I'll go out with him, if you ask her." Trina demanded.

"NEVER." Jade hissed.

"Who?" Tori asked.

"Do it, cause I have other ways of convincing you." Trina stated, even as she circled the table, towards the redhead who'd been taking in every movement of her top.

"Okay, fine!" Jade growled. "Vega, this Saturday, after my court ordered community service, I'm taking you out." She glared right through the older girl. "Happy now?"

"Very." Trina relaxed. "Okay, Cat, you get seven minutes, but if your hands drift, there's gonna be trouble." Her own brown eyes never left Jade. "Mom's watching."

"But you said…" Tori tried to catch up, not sure what was happening.

"Sister, I wasn't threatening to just kiss Cat…" Trina chuckled, even as she started off towards a closet, for privacy. Cat, to just about everyone's surprise, quickly and happily followed.

"Can I call next?" Rex asked, and moments later, was tossed into the pool.

"Was so sure I'd clear it." Jade grumped.

"Okay, that happened." Beck said, not sure if anyone was listening.

"Um…" Tori tried, again, to catch up. "Wait, am I dating Jade now?"

"Just, hands to yourself until you two know each other better." Andre teased.

"Laugh it up, boy." Robbie snarled, unhappy to have been left out of the girls fun. "You're dating Trina now, or did you think, for one moment, Jade's gonna let you off easy?"

Beck, realizing what was happening, slipped outside while his Ex was busy trying to figure out why her puppet throw fell short. Robbie, he'd let his companion float, for now, confident he'd be able to get the wooden man back soon enough. That gave Beck the disturbing image of Rex floating face down in the pool as he made his escape.

The pale, blue eyed girl moved to sit next to Tori for the seven minutes plus the other girls were in the closet. She'd taken the singers hand and held on, using the girl; for support, even as she tried to figure out how she felt about all of this. Once Trina and Cat came out of the hall closet, Jade rose and made her own exit. "I think enough damage has been done for one day." She announced. "Cat, Rob, I'm giving you two a ride. Andre, have fun. I think your girl is all warmed up…."

Andre looked at Trina, who just smiled back at him. "I'm dating Jade?" Tori asked again.

Andre ignored his best friend. "Be honest, she felt you up, didn't she?"

Trina looked away, not able to truthfully answer and keep her cool. "We'll gotta go…"

"Dude, your pants…" Tori started, only to realize what she was seeing. Her sister had been touched, in several places, and while she hadn't been in there long enough for anything to sexual, Cat had squeezed more then one thing in the closet. "Oh…."

"Yea, been one of those days." Trina nodded. "Thanks sis, I needed that today."

"I'm dating Jade!" Tori accused.

"Right, I already thanked you…" Trina smirked, and walked up the stairs. "If Cat and Jade practiced together, you're in for a treat. Just, girls handsy…"

"Yea, gonna need to talk to her about keeping her hands off the girl I'm dating." Andre chuckled. "Trina, if you're up to it, maybe we could do something?"

"Tomorrow." Trina promised. "Kinda still taking today in…"

"Totally got that." The boy agreed. "Gonna go now, cause I think both you girls need a moment…"

Tori watched her friend leave. "Did that just happen?" She asked her sister. Only Trina had drifted upstairs, not letting Tori know for sue just what happened in the closet over those seven minutes.

Okay, not totally sure where this came from, but it was supposed to be a reminder that Trina isn't that hard on the eyes, and the boys are, well, boys.

So, thoughts?
