Trina couldn't believe she'd been invited to anything around the so called main people of her time at Hollywood Arts. 'Maybe Tori would invite me, or possibly Cat, but this time, everyone insisted…' Her brown eyes scanned the building, not sure she wanted to be included like this. 'Might as well go in. They all know, and it's not like it's a bad thing…' She shrugged, opening the door to her car and stepping out. "Coming?" She asked her companion.

"Do I have to?" Hope Quincy asked. The spoiled girl had come a long way since they'd met, but still had that tendency to focus on herself, or what she wants from others. She'd used to use her many gifts to control those around her, and even to that day, she felt she had to buy peoples loyalty, so dealing with any of the more successful alumni from Hollywood Arts was often difficult.

"For me?" Trina asked. She didn't bother flirting, they'd have sex later as is. 'I remember when this was just a scam, wanting to have her give me chiz. Funny, I don't have a clue why she wanted to date me.. Oh yea, she didn't. She just wanted someone who could pretend to love her. Guessing when we turned out to be alike in that one respect, it opened the way for us to try dating for real. I just wish her dad would spend time around me.. I mean, I get it, no more auditioning…'

Hope was already out of the car, holding onto Trina as if she were afraid the girl would blow away, leaving her alone again. "They'd better be accepting of me…" Her brown eyes took in her lovers. "Us?"

"They will." Trina promised. "They will."

The two walked to the venue, finding a sign for the reunion. "Really?" Hope asked.

"Really." Trina chuckled. "See, we'll be as welcome as anything. So, lets go… To the West Hollywood Arts Reunion…"

Of course, there wasn't a West Hollywood Arts, it was an in joke for the students who belonged to that group. West Hollywood, the artsy enclave in Los Angeles that traditionally had a large gay population. Everyone who lived close enough, or had walked the Sunset Strip, which also winds it's way through West Hollywood, understood that odd reality about that part of the city. Artists and creative people had always been more accepting, and as a result this community was as well established as New York City's The Village, or San Francisco's Castro Street.

"Trina!" The first voice to greet them was Beck's. "So glad you could make it…"

"So, when exactly did you find yourself in a same sex relationship?" Trina asked. "Sorry, wrong greeting…"

"It's okay." Beck sighed. "I used to hate the way Robbie fawned over me, until I realized I craved his attention the same way I did Jade's. That's when I realized I was kinda gay, and way into nerds. Put a strain on my friendship with Sinjin, until he found a solution…"

"So you and Burf, huh?" Trina asked.

"Almost didn't make it." The handsome man admitted. "We had our ups and downs. Plus, when we first got together, back when I was hiding my truth, my bisexuality, Jade did not take it well…" He chuckled. "She's here, you know…"

"Tori saved your ass when she seduced Jade." Trina agreed. "What? They're together, so of course I knew about THAT relationship. Had no idea why she did it. I thought she was protecting some lady from Jade's wrath."

"Never thought she'd seduce Jade, let aloe marry her." Beck marveled.

"Jade's that kind of a girl." Trina noted, more telling Hope then explaining it to Beck. "Tori couldn't just bed her without being willing to go all the way. So, when she rode to the rescue, again, she knew where it was going. Just glad the relationship is going well."

"Um, is Tori gonna be here?" Hope asked. She had found that couple easier to deal with after she'd started sleeping with Trina. So much so that she'd finagled a recording contract for Jade, just to help things out. That, plus it helped sooth things over with her father, after she'd gotten together with Trina. Still, she did often get along better with Tori now, if for no other reason that she was the ONLY producer brave enough to deal with Jade regularly.

"They're here, someplace." Beck assured them. "God, who'd have thought so may of us were gay? I mean, that was Hollywood Arts. Open minded Hollywood Arts. We had the largest gay straight club, by school population, in all of Los Angeles. So, how is it we have like twice the number of gay students then we had represented in that club?"

"Because we have to take into account the family of origin." Hope said. "Like my dad. I'd have been floored back then if I'd known he would be okay with me being with a woman. Hell, he likes Trina, just as long as she doesn't try singing. But if you're the least bit interested in a guy, or for you a girl, cause if you're bisexual, then it sometimes is hella easy to just date the so called appropriate gender. Not a lot of parents are urging their kids to date the same gender. My dad, he's fine with me being gay, even says he goes out of his way to make his gay artists feel welcome, accepted, and yet, I was so sure he'd freak out when I realized I liked Trina that way. Plus, we were fucking like bunnies well before I came out to myself…"

"Yea, that happens…" Beck nodded. "Where did Burf scamper off too…"

"Maybe he's talking with Andre?" Trina asked. "Man, didn't see that coming."

"Dre surprised us all." Beck agreed. "But Tug is a great guy, kinda quirky, but fun, and the guy is so much the antithesis of what we'd expect from a professional football player. No wonder he was the one Andre eventually fell for. Guys not my type, but he's a keeper…"

"Yea, I see what Cat saw in him." Trina nodded. "Cat gonna be here?"

"Sorry, LGBTQ only." Beck said as he started off looking for his man.

"Lets find Tori." Hope urged. "Funny how Cat turned out to be the only straight member of that group."

"Robbie may be Bi, but he's with Cat, so he probably won't be here tonight either." Trina said, looking around. "But if he is, we can ask about her."

"Look, there's Jade, in all her death metal glory." The African American woman pointed.

Trina smiled at her goth girl would be sister in law. "Yea, lets go talk to her before one of her millions of fans immigrates from Europe, or Asia, and why the hell isn't she more popular here?"

"The type of music we got her making, it's hella popular in Europe, and popular enough in Asia." Hope said. "Just, for whatever reason, not so much here in the U.S. But she has her fans, loads of em, here."

"You're just stoked that one of your finds is making money." Trina teased her girl.

"Don't you know it." The shorter girl agreed. "So lets see what Tori's been up to."

"Trina." The greeting was flat, a normal for Jade.

"Jade." Trina replied. "So, how's the reunion going?"

"Beck's gay." The pale girl said. "So not sure how to take that."

"You're with Tori." Hope reminded her.

"She's bating you." Trina warned her girlfriend. "Of course she's okay with this."

"Oh, I'm okay with him being gay." The blue eyed girl started. "Just, it does kinda hurt my ego. Was he really into me, or was it just… What does this say about me?"

"Beck's Bi." Trina insisted. "He just, he has a type, and it makes me worry, cause Tori's so not you."

"Beck doesn't have a type." Jade sighed. "He loves the person." She flashed a smile at her soon to be sister in law. "Thanks. Wasn't sure what to make of that. Hell, Andre being gay, that was hella easier for me to take, cause I always suspected. Boy was to good a guy to be the kind of dog he came across as sometimes. Too quick to fall out of love, like he was more into the idea of the pursuit then the actual girl. But Cat being the only one of us who was hetro…?"

"Yea, about that." Trina shifted. "She was my first girl crush, and she was so understanding when I came out to her. Never told a soul, which given how bad she was at keeping secrets, simply amazed me."

"When did you come out to her?" Jade wondered.

"It was after the whole Moose incident." Trina admitted. 'In for a penny…'

"Wait, you just told her you were into girls?" Hope asked, now interested in how this went down.

"I told her that it was okay that neither of us got Moose, and that I could find someone else to make me happy." Trina shrugged. "We were sitting there, at Tinkle Aid, watching one of the guys perform, and we were so bummed that Moose didn't want any of us, and I just told her I'd date her, if she wanted. Made it as clear as I could that she was perhaps the only girl I'd ever met I'd have dated." She flashed a smile at Hope. "She let me down easy, then told me that maybe you'd be interested. It was my understanding you two never directly interacted, so I had no idea how she knew about you, but she went and told me to seek you out, cause she thought you were the kind of girl I'd like to be with."

"Rich, and willing to lavish gifts on my paramour, as long as I got some level of obedience." Hope said. "Yea, that didn't work out the way I thought it would."

"Not to make a big deal about it, but Moose was during your senior year in high school, right?" Jade pointed out. "You and Hope here didn't even start dating until you were almost done with collage."

"Yea…" Trina shifted more nervously. "Took a couple of drunken parties in school for me to realize I was more fluid then I'd thought. Even then, I needed to know she'd be interested, and once we were introduced, I wasn't sure she'd be my type."

"Glad things worked out for you two." Tori said, letting them know she'd joined the conversation. "Of course, it was maddening getting you both in the same place, given that Trina hadn't exactly confessed her sapphic feelings to me. No, I had to rely upon the drunken phone calls she'd gotten that one winter break, as well as a few other clues to figure out to introduce them."

"Cat told you too?" Jade guessed.

"Yes." Tori's head hung. "After Mitch broke up with Trina, breaking her heart and wazzing off the whole family, Cat suggested that maybe Trina could use some pampering, and had me arrange the introduction."

"Course, I hated you back then." Hope noted. "But given I'm nailing your sister, I guess it all worked out okay."

"So…?" Trina looked for words.

"Lane is gay." Jade tossed out, desperate for some new topic of conversation.

"Yea, we all kinda suspected that." Trina agreed.

"Just wish he'd been out back then." Tori sighed.

"No, he never once let anyone in on his personal life." Trina said. "People just assumed, cause he was a guy, and most people are straight. Hell, even Hollywood Arts has a mostly hetro faculty."

"Sooo, who else is gay?" Tori tried.

"That guy, and that girl, and him… Cat dated him!" Jade was pointing people she recognized out.

"Yea, the hidden gay students of Hollywood Arts." Tori nodded. "Lets find Andre, see what he's up to."

"I thought you two were just talking." Jade said to her girl.

"I'm sorry, I meant to say 'Lets go find Andre and Robbie, and get the gang back together for the rest of the night.' Sorry if it didn't sound like that." Tori snarked at her girl.

"Rob's not here." Trina said. "He's Bi, but married to Cat, a girl."

"The reunion doesn't care." Jade told them. "They invited anyone who was a part of the old Stonewall club. Rob was the treasurer."

"So Rob's here, huh?" Trina sighed. "Cat just wants to gloat about this." She hugged her girl tight, a precaution."

"Cat's not like that." Jade reminded her. "Besides, it's been a couple of years. She's bound to be well past that emotion, assuming she even remembers."

They found Robbie and Cat talking with Beck and Burf. "And here's Trina, who I tried for years to stet up with that selfish harpy, Hope." Cat introduced them. "But she's not that bad now, cause she has Trina to spoil."

"We never met, not back in high school." Hope said. "How is it you thought we'd be a good couple?"

"Something Sikowitz said while Andre was explaining his impromptu yet unsuccessful audition with your father." Cat said. "I just, he predicted Tori and Jade, not to mention Andre coming out, so I figured he was up to something."

"You do realize that was well before any of us even came out, let alone wound up as couples." Jade said.

"Oh…." Cat looked around. "Yea, maybe I, no, I'm sure I had a very good reason, cause I kept at this, for like years. Especially after Tori and Jade become Jori." She glanced at her pale friend. "Yes, you get top billing, so behave."

"Whatever." Hope tossed out. "It's done. Lets just agree, they got lucky, and now, so did we." She glanced around. "Sure were a lot of you guys. I mean, sure, this covers about what? Four years? But it's still, six hundred students at a time, and there have to be close to three hundred of you at this reunion, and that's assuming that half of the people here are like me, guests."

"Yea, cause at Hollywood Arts, you were free to be who you really were, even if you were no where near ready to admit it." Robbie said, and everyone agreed.
