"Thanks for doing this for me." Cat told her friend as they stretched out, once again going over that nights plan. "I don't know if I could have done this without someone, and Jadey, she's so… Busy?"
Trina rolled her eyes, not wanting to speak about the goth. 'Okay, this IS right up her ally, and she did help train with us, even though I'm a better martial artist. Just, should have seen this coming, given Cat's personality, back when Robbie got us those tickets to the WEW show that hit Los Angeles. But it was just a fun night out, seeing those performers, and weathering the inevitable suggestions that I try this, cause I'm not gonna make it in any other form of entertainment.'
"Honestly, betting you never thought I'd last this long, did you?" Cat giggled. "Two years of training, working, using every contact Tori could make, just to set this moment up. Our WEW debut. Two years of hard work, just for this moment. We get to go out, on television, and show the world that we belong, even if I'm on the shorter side."
"You're athletic as hell." Trina told her partner. "We both can choreograph with the best of them, and this, it fits me. Hell, I hate it that they pushed me to do this, that we trained with Jade after she signed on to do that show about woman's wresting, even if it it did open the path for me to become famous. Not the way I thought it would. Honestly believed my talent would carry me, carry us, and the world would see what a wonder I am. Loads of cold water tossed on my head along the way." She almost deflated. Almost. "But I can do this. Tonight, we head out, show the world we belong. Just need to be ready, cause this company, they hire so much enhancement talent. We've gotten this far, but there's always the chance this is just another swerve."
"I totally get why you'd think that." Burt Jax, the North American Champion for the promotion, said, letting them know he'd been listening in. "Except you're Tori fucking Vega's sister. That means they treat you with kid gloves, cause if you do as well as you did in your tryout, and the six months in development you endured, then they can use your famous sister as a selling point. Plus, your partner, she's like one of the best friends to an actress who's making her own name, AND can wrestle."
"Not as many flips and chiz as I do, but yea, Jadey's, er…" Cat looked for the word.
"Freakishly strong?" Trina offered.
"What now?" Burt wondered.
"Jade's like freakishly strong." Trina explained, again. "Not always, cause she way holds back. Doesn't think anyone notices, but no way Beck ever held her back when she was pissed. No, that girl could pull the door off a Buick, and not really care." She smiled. "I'm hella stronger then I look, but not as freakishly strong as she is."
"And we know how strong you are." Burt told Trina. "Hot too. Man, if I weren't already in a committed relationship… Still, half the reason your booked to toss your opponents around so much IS because of how strong you a re. You can legitimately lift and toss almost anyone on the women's roster, and I'm fairly sure some of the lighter men. THAT'S without help. This is gonna be one of the best swerve intro's we've ever done. Man, whomever thought of this, we need to thank creative. Not how they introduce anyone."
"Trina thought of it." Cat pointed out. "Debuting by facing, and beating, an established team, get our names out there, immediately."
"Not cray cray about defeating the women's tag champs on our first night, but it'll jump start the feud, and we can spend the next couple of months beating whomever, building our reputations. A lot better then a bunch of vignette about how I'm Tori Vega's sister, and Cat here is best friends with Jade West. No, we're stars, and we become stars on our own merits. We come in as unknowns, surprise the audience with a hard fought, clean win, and then the announcers get to pretend to be reporters as they look up our backgrounds." Trina explained. "And me and Cat, we'll have plenty of time to show off that we're good enough, that we want to prove ourselves based on our skills, our abilities, and not based on who we're related to."
"Just amazed they went with this approach." Burt repeated. "They love free publicity. You're family, who you know, that will get us loads of free publicity. Plus, they want people who can hit the shows. I'm talking Chris Burm, Mac Murphy, the list goes on, and you CAN show up when we need too. They'd ask a bunch of questions about your famous friends and family, but at the same time, they'll ask them about you. Trust me, been in this for a minute, and I can promise you, that alone got you the contracts. The fact that everything I've seen says you two can go, that'll take you two to the top. And this approach, never seen anything like it. Gonna make an impact."
"I've heard of something like this." Cat chimed in. "Twenty five years ago or so, guy made his debut in WEW by defeating a big name, then another, and he was billed as a jobber up until he started getting those wins. Us, just following the same script." She smiled her big, happy smile. "That's what Trina here told me. Said it's a good idea, and we need to take full advantage. MO, I'm just happy, case I wanted to make the kiddies happy, and I'll be doing that, by being a performer here."
"Unless they make us the bad guys." Trina noted. "Heels. They could, cause they need 'em, and we CAN draw heat. However, for now, the underdogs, making it big, that's totally baby-face, and everyone is gonna wanna be on our side."
"It's time." The producer told them. "No new adjustments to the script. We're doing this, so go out, work hard, and let he fans have this big surprise. Gonna be a moment we replay for months to come."
"No entrance music?" Cat lamented. "Andre worked hard to get us that so fast."
"If we come out to music, it tells the fans we're somebody." Trina once again explained as they made their way to the ring, no announcement beyond the next match was coming. Fifteen thousand in attendance, over a million more watching from home, it was time to make an impact.
Twenty minutes later, the two would be standing in the center of the ring, hands held high, and their new careers well on track.

Tried like four wrestling ideas before this. Thoughts? BTW, Sean Waltman, also known as X-Pac, among other names, debuted in the WWF by defeating Razer Ramon. Just an FYI.
