Jade was reading, occupying Tori's bed while the Latina fussed about her upcoming date. "Not like it's gonna go anywhere." The goth commented, not looking up once. She'd been sent to help by Cat, who couldn't make it due to a last minute babysitting gig, and it looks to be less help then Trina might have offered..

"Like you'd know about dating." Tori sniped as she looked over her dress, tight enough, but maybe too tight in the right places. "When's the last time you let Beck be romantic."

"You do realize, romance is as personal as anything, right?" Jade turned her attention away from her phone to look at her friend. "He and I just like different things. Hell, one of the reasons women love romantic films is sometimes, we don't know what will work for us until we see it. Like you."

"Me?" Tori asked, not liking where this was going.

"Yea, you." Jade pushed. "I bet, if someone, someone you kinda liked, took you to a nice restaurant, they'd be barking up the wrong tree." She hesitated, watching the singer. "No, expensive won't impress you. You'd want a little hole in the wall restaurant, maybe with live music. The kind where local artists come to play, and the whole place feels cozy and small. Just the two of you, taking up a tiny little table, listening to the music and talking while the world goes on around you."

"Okay, that could be nice." Tori agreed.

"Only, if that's all they did, then all they'd get would be that one memory." Jade continued. "After a restaurant dinner that feels home made, one where you could imagine some motherly figure cooking the food, you'd want to move. Dance. And not some place where they do dance lessons or chiz like that. No, someplace where they play a nice mix of music, kinda like a school dance, only without the formality of it all, where you wouldn't have to perform, and could just cut loose, dance, enjoy. Feel free in the music, flowing with it, letting it touch you."

Jade was observing the other girl, taking in every breath as she pushed forward. "You'd be waiting through song, moving to the rhythm until they played a slow one, just so you could dance with your date, feel them moving. You'd want to see them be free, accepting of you as you are, and free to just move, but then you'd want to feel their arms around you, sharing the music. Music means so much to you, or Andre, either one of you would need to see your partner enjoying the music, feel the moment in the song with them, to know that you could love them."

Tori, for a moment, had been drawn out of her growing fantasy by the inclusion of her close friend. Only, that moment ended as she realized it was just Jade showing an insight deeper then just watching how she reacted. Jade understood the musician, and that meant she understood her too. "Th-Then what?" Tori got out.

"Then, it would depend." Jade shrugged. "If you were feeling safe, and that they could protect you, then a walk someplace quiet, like the beach. Only, not always easy to get there, and so many other places will do. Say, you wind up walking along a quiet neighborhood, along plants near that old convent, and just talk. Take in the wall covered in greenery, the small shrines, and talk, let each other share some quasi-intimate moments, until the conversation crossed the boarder and get personal." Tori was leaning in. "Then, with a look, you let them know you're ready for a kiss, but get impatient, and Mrrfffff"

Jade found herself pushed back onto the bed as Tori deepened the kiss.

Jade is a writer, and can paint a picture with her words. Thinking she painted a very clear one here.
