Tony sat in the living room with Pepper. Pepper had on a calm façade while Tony wasn't bothering to pretend.

"This is crazy. Millions of wizards living among us, and nobody knows."

"I think its exciting. I wonder if they have their own cultural works. Do you think dragons are real?"

"Probably, if unicorns are real, why not dragons? He said tech gets a bit hinky around magic, I hope my suit will work fine."

"Do you really need to bring that Tony? I don't think your son is going to attack you."

"I am not worried about that. But you do realize that this is an armed society. You saw how easy he transformed the hat and rabbit earlier. And with his talk of wizards going bad, it sounds like a dangerous place."

"That's true, but it also sounds like Harry is quite proficient in Defense if they felt the need to give him a Mastery based solely on his past exploits."

"That's true, but I would rather not risk it."

"The Young Master has arrived sir."

*Knock* *Knock*

Harry apparated into the guest room. It was now cleared of furniture except a coat rack and the welcome mat in front of the door.

He smiled at the effort they had made.

Tony opened the door. "You made it. Great. How do we get to the magical world? Is it far away?"

"Be polite Tony. It is good to see you again Harry."

"It is good to see you as well. And I thought about that very question this afternoon, but first, I need to know what is up with that?" Harry asked while pointing to the glowing light in Tony's chest.

"This is my arc reactor. It powers my suits and also works as an magnet and keeps me alive."

Harry frowned. "So if magic were to cause issues with it…"

Tony's eyes widened. "Then I would die."

"I guess no teleporting for you. But let me ask, why do you need it?"

"There are tiny bits of metal in my chest and blood stream. If they aren't pulled towards the magnet, they will flow into my heart."

"Ah, that's it? That's an easy fix. I can take care of that if you like. We won't even have to go to one of the hospitals."

"What? Really? That would be great." Pepper said.

"I would want more information on it before I make a decision. But will I be fine to go into the magical world?"

Harry nodded. "The only issue may arise if someone casts a strong spell at your chest. But even if you didn't have your chest light, that would still be an issue. Law enforcement is pretty good in the States, and I have a few exemptions, so you don't need to worry."

Tony and Pepper nodded.

"We can walk or take a cab, I guess. We need to get to Central Park."

"You guys have a hideout in the Park?"

"There are 3 major magical communities in New York City. We are going to Nilla Square."

"I will call Happy, he will have the car ready by the time we get down there."

The group entered the elevator and headed down into the garage. 20 minutes later they were walking through Central Park. Up ahead, Harry could see the wooden bridge.

"Okay, now look over here, do you guys see the stairs?"

Both Tony and Pepper shook their heads.

"Put a hand on me and try it again."

"Ah, I see it. How did I miss that?"

Harry led the pair down the steps.

"Okay, we just need to walk through the darkness. Keep a hold until we are through. If you let go, you will find your self with a strong desire to turn around and leave this place."

After hearing that, Tony had to try it. He let go but Pepper quickly grabbed him before he got too far away.

"Wow, that was weird. As soon as I let go I lost sight of both of you and realized I left my front door wide open. I wanted to go back and shut it. That's crazy, I don't even have a front door."

Harry chuckled and pulled them through the darkness.

"This is Nilla Square.

"Woah, this is awesome."

"What are those short little people by the white building?"

"Those are goblins. A serious bunch who don't take things with a laugh. Fierce and honorable warriors who just happen to have a monopoly over the magical worlds banking system."

"That seems like it could cause problems."

"It has been like that for a long time. And I happen to be a very good friend of the Goblin Nation."

Tony laughed as the walked towards the fountain. He and Pepper looked around as they saw witches, wizards, children and a few magical being going from shop to shop and bustling around the busy square.

"There are about 10,000 people living in this magical community. There is a large living area further in the distance, but we won't bother with that. Let's head up to my flat."

Harry led them to the entrance of Weasley Wizard Wheezes.

Pepper had to stop Tony from picking up and playing with everything he saw, even if she was tempted to check a few items too.

They made their way to the top floor. When Harry opened the door, they were surprised to see a grand staircase that led even higher.

Harry gave them a brief tour before the 3 decided to have dinner on the rooftop garden that also overlooked the square.

"This whole thing is so magical." Pepper said as she watched the people below.

Tony spent most of the dinner asking questions about the magical community so he could get his head around the culture. Pepper wasn't paying much attention. He had introduced he to Gander and she was positively cooing over the little flying serpent. She had wanted to see him grow to full size but understood that it would probably cause a panic and couldn't happen right now.

She was very happy to be playing with Gander and chatting with Dobby while they were eating the celebration cake for dessert. She had apologized for implying he was a slave.

After the plates were cleared, she tuned back into Harry and Tony's conversation.

"How much trouble would it be to fix this?" He asked while tapping on the light in his chest.

"Not much really. I see 2 ways to do it. One would have you out of commission for a weak and would be gentle. The other will cause a bit of pain and you will be back to full health by morning."

"Are their chances of failure for either?"

Harry thought about it. "As long as there is no metal in your actual heart then it's easy. Worst comes to worst I have some universal cure, but that stuff is so rare that it can't even be bought with money. I would rather not use it unless I had an actual need."

"That's understandable." Pepper said.

"But you would use it if something went wrong? Right?"

"Yes Tony. It is valuable, but its value pales in comparison to that of a life. And that would still be true even if you weren't my biological father."

"Good, good, good. Then can you do it now?"

Harry nodded. "As long as you don't mind staying the night."

"That's no problem." Pepper said before Tony could even reply.

Harry led the way down to his lab. Tony was impressed by the schematics and devices lay around even if he couldn't understand any of it.

Harry drew his wand and with a wave, one of the tables turned into a hospital bed.

"Hop up and take off your shirt."

Tony did as he was asked while Harry went to a chest and started to bring out the potions he would need.

He could see Pepper start to get a bit nervous.

"Dobby, would you show Pepper around and let her pick out a room for her and Tony to stay in?"

Dobby nodded and reached out his hand to Pepper.

"I want to stay and make sure nothing goes wrong."

Harry shook his head. "It is easy for me to isolate my own energy discharges, but it would require extra effort to make sure your Bio-energy feedback doesn't interfere. It will be much safe if you are outside."

Tony raised an eyebrow as Dobby whisked Pepper away before she could say anything else.

Harry shrugged. "The quick way isn't pretty, and I don't want to have to deal with that. But not to worry. In less than five minutes you will be in the recovery period and just need to lay down till morning."

Tony thought about it and then nodded. "Let's do it."

"Are you able to remove your arc reactor? If I do it with magic, it may be destroyed."

"No problem, just say when."

Harry pulled out his Holly wand. The phoenix feather core was better at healing compared to the Elder wand.

"Do it."

Tony twisted the arc reactor and pulled it out. His face went a bit pale as Harry snatched it and tossed it on a table to the side.

A swipe of his wand, and Tony found himself paralyzed from the neck down and unable to move. Harry's free hand waved above his chest and Tony muffled a scream as every bit of metal was ripped from his chest and flew to his son's hand.

Tony began to sweat as he could see the blood spurting out.

He found a potion floating next to his mouth and it suddenly tipped in as he was forced to swallow.

While Tony was drinking the blood replenishing, Harry was closing every tiny little wound on his chest.

Stark watched in awe as muscle and then flesh began to close over the cavity where his arc reactor used to rest.

With a quick flick, the blood vanished to reveal fresh pink skin.

Harry personally feed Tony another half portion of the blood replenishing potion.

"The hard part is finished. Now we just need to regrow the bone. Fair warning, this potion tastes awful and regrowing bones isn't a pleasant process, it itches , aches, and burns. But by morning you will be good as new."

"Will it be worse than when you took the shrapnel out."

Harry wavered. "No, but its more annoying. It is a long-drawn-out pain. Like an itch you can't scratch. The bad news is because of certain ingredients in Skelegrow I can't put you to sleep with magic. And because of its location. I will need to leave you paralyzed until around midnight. After that you can move a bit, but the bones will be weak. By 6 in the morning, they will be just a strong as the rest of your bones."

"I can live with that."

"Good." Said Harry as he cast a few diagnostic charms. "I am going to do it bit more." Harry said as he waved his wand over Tony's left knee and then near the side of his back. "There, now you won't have that stiff knee when you get up in the mornings and you should no longer have lower back pain when you work too long while bent over your worktable."

Tony smiled happily.

"Alright, let's get you set up in the room Pepper picked, then I will give you the Skelegrow."

When Tony agreed, Dobby popped him off to the correct room.

Harry entered to find a mothering Pepper seeing to Tony. He portioned out the correct amount of skelegrow and then left them to themselves after he told them to call for Dobby if they needed everything.

It was early, but Harry retreated to his room. It had been a crazy day. His father and Pepper had seemed nice enough, but he would reserve the option to change his opinion later.

The next morning, they sat down to breakfast with a fully healed Tony.

"Now that I don't have a hunk of tech in my chest you can show me a whole bunch of magic right?"

The three spend most of the morning with Harry casting all sorts of magic on Tony. He was loving it and constantly taking notes. Harry also let them into the store before it opened. Even with no one but the employees around, Pepper still had to use the map multiple times to find Tony. The man had a knack for sniffing out the hidden passages. In a single hour he had managed to find 4.

As much as they wanted to stay, Pepper needed to get back and handle some things in the office.

Before they left, Harry handed them a couple things.

"I recognize the mirrors, but what these rings?" Tony asked.

"They are another one of my little inventions. They have two abilities. While wearing it, the wards that repeal non-magical people won't affect you. The other is that it has magic stored into it. If you tap the ring to a magical object, it will send out a small pulse of magic. You can use this to answer or make calls on the mirror. I figured this would be easier since I can't really carry around a cellphone."

"That's true, it would probably spark out if you teleported."

Harry nodded. "That little pulse of magic can also do other things. If you buy something in a magical store, most shop keepers will shrink it and apply a featherlight charm. When you get home you can just tap it to undo the charms. It also works for the vending machines in the square and a good number of other things. It has around 100 activations before I, or some other magical needs to refill it."

Harry, Pepper and Tony were then on their way.

Over the next month, Tony would come visit Harry almost daily. Sometimes Pepper was with him, other times she wasn't. Sometimes Tony would follow him into his lab and talk about magic for hours, other times he would say hello and then go explore the magical shops.

Tony had already bought all the books for the standard magical education. Over the past month, Harry would receive Mirror calls multiple times a day whenever the man had a question about something he didn't understand.

According to Pepper, Tony had already set up a potion's lab back in the tower and was brewing everything that didn't need direct magical input.

It made Harry realize why the man kept asking him to make an improved magic ring that could dispense magic in different volumes and had a much larger reserve.

Harry considered the idea. It wasn't impossible, but it was something that wouldn't be able to be sold. The materials required to be able to hold such a large amount of magic and the enchantments required to give a non-magical user the fine control necessary to release the magic just right would make the ring incredibly expensive. But perhaps it would be a good Christmas gift for Tony.

Pepper had fallen in love with both the magical creatures and the art/culture of the magical world. She had already looked through a few junk stores and gotten her hands on some old talking portraits.

It had already become a tradition for the 3 of them to have dinner together once a week. But most of the time it was more than that.

Tony was getting closer to what he called 'Magic proofing' his suit. It would still be affected by magic, but the magic itself would no longer cause issues with the electronics. If he figured that out, Harry told him he would be happy to add some magical enchantments and protections.

Pepper was all for them working together and making Tony safe. She just wished that Tony would talk about something besides his work in the lab. But it was clear to all that father and son would be lost to the world when they started talking about the projects they had going on in their labs.

It was a Thursday evening while Harry was tinkering in his lab. He had most of the kinks worked out with the quidditch figures when his mirror started to vibrate.

"Hello Pepper."

"Hi Harry. I think we are going to have to cancel for tomorrow. I Know you were looking forward to showing us a professional quidditch game, but Tony was called away for something important."

"That's alright, we can always reschedule. Is everything alright?"

"I don't know, SHIELD needed Iron Man and it sounded like a big deal."

"Does he need my help?"

"I am not sure, but I made him promise to bring along that portkey incase things got too dangerous."

Harry nodded and let Pepper drop the call. It seemed like she had things she needed to do, and comforting people was not something he was particularly good at.

Before he could set down his mirror it started to vibrate again. He was surprised to see who was calling.

"What do I owe the pleasure, Mr. Sinclair?"

Denington Sinclair was the current Supreme Mugwump of the ICW. If he was calling it was big.

"Potter we have an emergency."

Harry frowned. With his past experiences when the ICW had an emergency they were just being lazy.

Sinclair recognized the expression. "This is serious. You remember there was a report on Thor, a few years ago? His brother Loki is on planet and in Germany. He is actively killing non-magical people in a crowded square and doing it with magic."

That got Harrys attention. He could understand why they called him.

"The worst part is that a few civilians have caught it on camera and posted it online. It's already trending. This threw a huge wrench into our 100-year integration plan."

"I thought that hadn't been approved."

"It hasn't, but if this continues it will take away a lot of our options. We just had a vote, it passed with a ¾ majority."

"Wow, I didn't think those traditionalists would go for it."

"We didn't vote on that, we voted on you. The ICW is giving you an exemption to use magic in front of the public."

"What!?" Harry was shocked.

"There are crazy non-normal people out there already. A green rage monster, a crime fighting spider, the god of thunder, and now Loki. We want to test the waters and see how the world reacts to a wizard. Plus we need you to save the image of magic before Loki ruins it for everybody. The last thing we want is another set of witch trials."

"I…"

"Please Harry. We have been trying to leave you alone, but this isn't something normal."

"Alright."

"Stuttgart Germany wasn't on the list of Portkeys we have for you. We didn't know if you had one, so we sent you one along with the ICW exemption. Please hurry people are dying as we speak."

Harry nodded and hung up.

He went to his ICW drop box and collected the portkey and paperwork. His skimmed the parchment quickly to make sure he wasn't getting set up.

"Dobby, get the war chest!" Harry bellowed as his voice carried through his home.

Dobby appeared with a metal trunk. The little elf was already wearing dragonhide armor and had a basilisk fang dagger sheathed on either hip.

Harry quickly donned his dragon hide vest, boots, and robes. He swapped out his regular wand holsters with battle holsters and attached his sword to his back. Grabbing three bottomless bags, he tied one on each side of his waist and the last behind him.

"Dobby, remain hidden. Evacuate and perform basic healing only. Gander, stay concealed unless things are looking bad. The ICW has given me permission to do magic in public, but I don't have time to find out how far the permission extends. Let's do only what we need to and no more."

Dobby nodded in seriousness; his playful demeanor long gone.

Gander moved to a well-protected bottomless bag and poked his head out while remaining in the magic shadow that concealed him.

When he saw they were ready, Harry picked up the portkey. "The God of Mischief and Lies has taken to killing innocent people, let show him how foolish such a decision is. Activate."

The trio was gone in a swirl of magic.
