Harry shook his head and rolled over as his mind fought to catch up with reality. The flying ship had been attacked. The sudden jarring motion had thrown the group roughly to the ground.

In a flash, Harry was back up to his feet. He could see Steve starting to stir but the rest was still out. Thankfully Bruce was calm and sleeping. The rage monster hadn't taken over. When the Wizard glanced at him, he could feel another being inside Bruce coiled and waiting to strike, but the thing had stayed its hand since there was no immediate danger.

Harry mentally made a note to introduce occlumency to Banner. With meditation and a regiment of calming draughts, the scientist may be able to have full control of his darker urgers. Or at least a working harmony with them.

Harry cast a wide area Enervate. The agents and the others in the lab were now alert and moving.

When the wizard glanced to the scepter, he found it missing. While cursing under his breath, Harry studied the protections he had set down.

In short order he found that the scepter hadn't been taken away, it had been summoned. He was thankful he had followed standard procedure and cast a tracking charm on it.

With a flick of his wand, the location was revealed to him.

Fury stormed into the room.

"Two engines have been compromised. If they aren't back online soon, we will be going down."

Before he could say anything further, the flying ship started to slowly tilt. Tony and Steve were already sprinting towards the engines while Natasha and the other were moving to deal with those who had landed on the ship.

Thor had been the first out of the room, heading towards his brother. While Banner had taken a seat and was checking himself for injuries.

Harry's priority was the scepter. With the location in mind locked, he apparated.

His wand was out when he appeared and was startled by the sight before him.

The scepter was directly in front of him, but it was pierced through an agent's chest. Harry had met the man before; his name was Phil Coulson. Loki smiled towards the Seidhr and the vanished, letting Phil fall towards the floor.

As much as Harry wished to chase after Loki, he couldn't ignore the man dying in front of him. Especially since he could save him.

With a flick and swish the man was put under stasis spell before Harry turned him over onto his back. After casting a few diagnostic spells. The wizard found it wasn't good. The man's spine had been severed and his heart had been nicked. That was the worst of it, but everything else wasn't much better. There was a literal hole in his chest and once the stasis spell was dropped, he would only have second before the man's life vanished.

Harry grabbed his supplies and set everything around him within arm's reach before he went over his plan one last time.

Fury had entered the room but seeing that the wizard appeared to be intensely concentrating he remained silent and didn't inquire about his close friend on the floor.

The spy master watched as Potter waved a wand in his left hand as his right moved with a blur. A vial of clear contents was tipped as three drops fell into the hole on Coulson's chest. As they fell, he swore he could hear a faint bird song in the distance.

The vial was away, and another was tipped into his agent's mouth while the wand continued to trace the wound. Muscle and tissue slowly started to form and close the hole while 3 more potions were drunk. When the hole was sealed, bandages soaked in a strange liquid appeared over the wound.

Harry stood while he summoned the potions back into his pouch. With a quick transfiguration, one of the empty vials was transformed into a stretcher which he levitated Phil onto.

He turned to SHIELDs director. "He is out of danger, but I suggest not letting him get up for the next 24 hours."

Fury nodded. "And Loki?"

"Gone." Harry replied. He then recast the tracking spell. "Moving northwest at a fast pace."

Furry and Harry left the containment room after a group of agents carefully carried Phil away.

"Tony and Steve have stabilized the engines for now. Natasha was able to retrieve the agents that had been under Loki's control. I would like for you to take a look at them." Harry nodded. "And Banner, well he is calm, but Thor is in the wind. I assume he has a way to track his brother."

Harry contemplated. It made sense. The man had found them while they were moving on a plane.

"Are you okay?" Tony asked Harry when he saw him.

"Not a scratch, though I don't think you could say the same." The wizard replied while looking at Tony's suit which was pretty banged up.

Tony chuckled. "I went through a bit of a grinder."

"Listen up!" Furry bellowed. "Loki escaped with the scepter. Thor is assumed to be in pursuit. Our agents have been recovered but Loki still has a scientist under his control. Potter is tracking the scepter and will inform us once it has stopped moving. We still don't know what his plans are but-."

Fury was interrupted by the door to the conference room opening. Natasha entered followed by a man who was obviously tired. Harry assumed it was one of the agents that had been mind controlled. His assumption proved correct as the man spoke.

"Loki has Selvig working on using the Tesseract to open a portal. He has an army of aliens called the Chitari that he will use to conquer Earth. He plans on declaring himself king."

Commotion broke out in the room. That was until Harry caused a boom with his wand.

"The scepter is no longer moving."

"Where?" Fury asked.

Harry looked to Tony. "On top of Stark Tower."

"Fuck!" Tony cursed and before Harry could say anything more, Iron Man was flying out the window and heading towards New York.

When Harry raised his wand to summon Tony back, a package appeared on the table in front of him. He would have been concerned if he had not recognized the magical signature of the sender.

He glanced at the note on top.

Arrive in 10 minutes

Use this at 14 minutes.

Activate Gobi protocol at 43 minutes.

Harry burnt the note in a flash of flames, cast a trio of timers on his holster to keep track of the time and opened the package. He found a small cylindrical device which he immediately recognized. It was one of his earlier creations that he never really found a use before. He clipped it on his belt before turning to the others.

"I will be portkeying, er, teleporting to New York city in 10 minutes. I can take a handful of people with me."

"Count me in." The tired man said while Natash nodded.

"Let's suit up." Steve said while going towards his bag.

"I think I might be able to help." Banner said with worried tone. The man then looked at his flask with a worried tone. "Maybe I should leave this here."

"Let me see it." Harry said while snatching the flask.

He quickly pulled out a rune knife and began marking the side of the flask. He pulled out a very resilient magic activation ring and placed it in the runic circle on the flask before casting several spells and activating the circle.

With a small flash, the flask disappeared and a ring clink on the table. He tossed it to Bruce.

"The ring will automatically resize and is verry durable. Pressed the little button on the inside to make it transform to a flask. Should have around 100 transformations before the magic needs to be refilled."

Bruce nodded happily while taking the ring and putting it on his finger.

"I guess you're the magic man Nat was talking about." The tired man said.

"That's me, but I prefer wizard."

"Clint Barton. Do you have anything for a nasty headache?"

Harry pulled out a pepper-up potion and tossed it to the man. "Should give you some energy."

"Dobby, bring the weapons trunk."

The others could hear fingers snapping and then a trunk appeared before Harry. Harry opened it and motioned for the others to look in.

Clint was curious and peeked in but only saw a ladder.

"We don't have all day."

"What the hell, might as well." Clint mumbled before climbing in.

Natash quickly followed before Harry jumped in.

The two agents had light shining from their eyes as they glanced around the room that was covered in weapons.

"Woah, you actually have bows? It's hard to find good ones." Clint said.

Harry shrugged. "It is easier to enchant since they are made from magical creature parts. But most of those enchantments won't work well without active magic."

Clint's eyes fell.

"But this one will work since you're a squib."

"A what?"

"You didn't know?"

Clint shook his head.

"A non-magical who was born from magical people. You have a mana core but no magic."

"Ahh, I am an orphan."

Harry sighed. "There are still those in the magical world who don't have the best opinions on those without."

Clint shrugged. "I am over it."

"Drip a drop of blood on the handle."

Clint took the bow and did so. A soft flash signaled the equipment's acceptance.

"An arrow will appear when the bow is drawn if an arrow isn't nocked. It has 2 stored inside. They will return 5 seconds after shot or if the other arrow is nocked. The arrow heads are enchanted ever-sharp and the feathers are imbued with air elemental magic that increases speed and decrease wind resistance, included winds that would push the arrow. When an arrow is recalled, they will automatically be repaired."

Clint drew back the bow as an arrow appeared. He gently loosened the string and then tossed the arrow aside. A few seconds later the arrow disappeared.

"Sweet." The man whispered.

"Now use you will and command the bow away."

The bow disappeared as a leather bracelet appeared on the man's left arm.

"Now will it back."

The bow appeared in hand.

"Nice. But I need to grab my gear, this will make a perfect back up since it can't run out of arrows."

Clint rushed back up the ladder as Harry turned to Natasha who was reading the labels.

As he walked over, she spoke. "What will work without magic."

"Preference?"

"Pistols."

Harry pointed to a row of weapons. "Pick from those. Corresponding magazines each contain 1,000 bullets. The pistols are enchanted to be quieter and have less kick recoil."

She chose two and then Harry handed her a small snub nose revolver. "It has close to 50 shots that will detonate a small 3-foot-wide explosion on impact."

She gladly took it. "Will Clint be alright?"

Harry nodded. "I took a peek and all the false memories have been destroyed or are in the process of decaying. A few more minutes and there will be no trace left of it in his mind."

She nodded and went out. Harry was about to climb out when he noticed both Fury and Bruce had entered.

Furry was holding a huge revolver that was almost a foot long. He was looking at Harry, but from his glance it was clear he wasn't asking for permission, he was just notifying the wizard.

Harry rolled his eyes. "Fine. It only has six shots before it needs more magic. There is no recoil and on impact there is an explosion that is comparable to half a dozen grenades going off."

Furry climbed out. Harry turned to Bruce.

Bruce shrugged. "I didn't want to be the only one in the room while Steve was changing clothes."

That made Harry chuckle as the pair climbed out.

As they climbed out Harry found everyone else suited up and ready to go while Fury was speaking.

"Stark is at the tower and the portal is open."

Harry checked his timer.

"Potter do you have a way I can stay in contact with you?"

Harry thought for a moment and then pointed at a glass of water on the conference room table. It transformed into a medallion. And then he cast again.

"I attached a low range listening charm on that. For the next few hours I will hear everything that is spoken within a foot of it."

Furry nodded and took the medallion.

"I will keep you all informed of what is going on." Furry said before he left the room.

Harry pulled out a rope and had the others grab hold of his permeant portkey to central park. He felt his wand holster vibrate.

"Don't let go and don't hold your breath. 3.. 2.. 1.. Cinamon."

With a woosh, they were off.

Harry was impressed that all of them landed without a fuss. But that should have been expected since they weren't normal.

In the sky, Harry could see both Iron Man and Thor battling before a large portal that hung in the air. They were trying to hold off the Chitari but were quickly outnumbered.

Harry pulled out his broom and quickly mounted it.

"I can drop you off somewhere as long as you decide quickly." Harry said.

Steve had already gotten in contact with Tony who agreed to try to keep them contained and informed them that Thor was going to attempt to bottleneck the opening.

With Steve taking control of the situation, he started giving out orders. "Barton, find a perch and call out the areas that need help. Natasha, see what we can do about closing the portal. Harry, do you still have a way to track Loki?"

Harry shook his head. "Tracking charm was stripped off when the portal was activated."

"Stay flexible and make sure no one is overwhelmed, keep a look out for Loki. Bruce…"

"Just drop me in the thick of it."

Steve nodded and looked to Harry.

The wizard cast a levitation charm on them all and took off.

Clint was set on the top of a skyscraper. Bruce was dropped into a horde of Chitari that were advancing into buildings. Steve was dropped in front of the incoming forces along with Natasha since Stark tower was being swarmed with the Chitari that were using some sort of flying fighting craft.

Harry pulled out the elder wand and was about to cast when his wand holster vibrated again. He reached for the cylindrical device on his belt and activated it with a pulse of magic.

Hundreds, maybe over a thousand balls of white light were spat out and raced in every direction.

That truly surprised him. A few balls of light slowed in nearby buildings and began to bounce around. Activating the enchantments in his hood allowed him to better understand the situation.

Harry cleared his mind and took a deep breath; it was time to get to work.

He fired piercing hexes like a machine gun as he flew above the streets. He dove lower and banished a Chitari that had just shot a mother in front of her two children. He saw a ball of light float towards them, he turned and ended another group of Chitari with a Bombarda. When he returned to cast a stasis spell on the woman he found the ball of light, along with the woman and her children had disappeared.

This was not how Harry expected to be flying through the city while weaving between buildings. It was nowhere near as fun as he imagined. He vanished the alien spacecrafts as he passed them and slung spells at the Chitari that were climbing buildings. On the streets below he could sense Dobby remaining invisible while he elf-popped between enemies and gave them a poke with his basilisk fang daggers, letting the venom do most of the work.

Fury kept in contact and directed Harry to areas that needed attention, but the streams of aliens didn't stop pouring through the portal.

He decided to help Thor cull their numbers at the entrance but now wasn't the time for large expenditures of magic. Who knew how long it would be till they could close the opening in the sky.

Harry leapt from his broom and stored it as two black feathered wings appeared on his back from a partial animagus transformation.

With the Sword of Gryffindor in his left hand and the Elder wand in his right, he began to battle apparate between targets. The sword cleaved through bodies and vehicles while he held a flame whip from his wand. The whip cracked and slashed while he burnt and seared through flesh. The particular flame whip he was using was borderline dark and illegal in most countries. Illegal for others at least, now was not a time be worrying about that.

When the enemies around the portal thinned, Harry apparated to Steve. With a wide scale Diffindo he sliced through several Chitari that were advancing on a large group of people that were moving into the subway system while Steve was covering them.

He was then gone with a pop to peel off several of the flying crafts that were tracking Tony.

"ROOAAARRRR!"

Harry turned in time to see the Hulk leap into the sky from a nearby building.

A 300-foot-long gigantic armor-plated worm type creature was flying between skyscrapers.

Hundreds of Chitari leapt from it onto nearby buildings.

*Bang*

The creature let out a wail as it plummeted to the ground while the Hulk's fist drove into its skull.

Harry glance to the portal to see that 2 more were coming through.

With a quick plan, Harry temporarily reversed his listening charm on the medallion he gave the director.

"Fury, inform the others that the massive, winged snake creature is mine."

He turned the charm back and made preparations. As much as he wanted to just throw away the Statute of Secrecy, he knew there were good reasons for it. He had to give a reasonable explanation for Gander's existence.

He pointed his wand to the sky and unleashed a large torrent of blue smoke that formed a cloud. The smoke swirled and condensed while pulsing light. Harry disillusioned Gander until the Occamy had entered the cloud.

He created an illusionary portal in front of the cloud and let the cloud pass through. The smoke disappeared as it entered the portal and a 150-meter long Occamy screeched as it exited the illusion.

Harry was concerned that Gander would be hurt, but he didn't think the Chitari would be able to kill him. Gander would escape first.

While most thought he was acquired through Luna his magizoologist girlfriend. The truth was that he had rescued the Occamy from a dark wizard after raiding his base. The man had been experimenting on creatures. Harry was able to remove the rune collar that turned the Occamy into a mindless slave but left the rune inscriptions that strengthen his scales and shielded his wings.

Gander dove to the armored worm and coiled around it he bashed his reinforced head into the things side and constricted with all his might.

The worm creature let out a whimpering moan as its armor and bones cracked. Gander quickly let go and let the thing plumet. A swipe of his tail slapped most of the Chitari off the closets building.

Harry remounted his broom and took a wand in each hand as he steered with his thighs. He continued to fight until he heard Fury curse.

Looking towards the portal, it had somehow widened and over 40 of the worm creatures were coming through at once while thousands of flying vehicles passed through each second.

Harry himself wanted to curse but was stopped when his holster vibrated a third time. He now understood.

Apparating to a room without cameras in a nearby building, Harry called for Dobby. He disillusioned them both the moment the time turner was around their necks. With five flips they went five hours into the past.

The moment they landed; Dobby popped them into his apartment.

Harry collapsed into a chair in his lab, he needed a plan.
