Pro Wrestling of Animation Facts: Tournament Arc
Hello everyone. This is Mr. Leaf Canary. Here to tell you the events of the World Tournament Arc. First off, this Arc is meant to be my actual tournament arc, but like any Shonen tournament arcs, there's some problems that came by for it. This had been something I wanted to do, and do I have regrets on some decisions. Of course. But this had been a year long journey on crowning my company's first champions.
The reason why I wanted to have a year long tournament since there's four belts to determined, and wanted to do a 16 person/team tournament. And if you follow every wrestling logic on the booking of a tournament arc, you should know that it normally takes around two days at best with 16 slot tournament.
Crowning each champion before the Festival is always odd for me since that means each champion have a different starting point. I can understand why when it comes to pecking order on championships, but every champion has to share the same starting point. And after the Festival, each Champion has to go all in when it comes to defending their respective championships. I may be the booker, but each Championship are now a main plotline while the other stories are subplots that lead back where all roads tend to meet. A road to gold.
The First Rounds: Chaos City, Broken Eclipse, Dreamwork and Imperial Crown
Here's something I did on making the Finals, I make the Finals matches first so I can know that's a goal. All four World Championships Finals. And I kept going backwards on saying, "okay, this is what we do." And sometimes each tournament slot had been deviant from one way or another from the first mental draft.
Each Chaos City match had Festival implications since there were some original plans. Alejandro and Luffy, Bow and Joey, Natsu and Tanjiro, DENJI and Goku, Mamoru and Nagito. These matches were meant to be part of my plans for the Festival. The only thing that was dropped is Burromuerto and Luffy.
The women's side was tricky for me, because there were some plans I wanted to deviant from the Finals. The only thing that I kept my mind in, was Blake Belladonna making it into the Finals. Everything else had been a wild ride and deviant paths. These were my biggest picks; Adora, Charlie Morningstar, Blake Belladonna, Asuna Yuuki, Weiss Schnee, Mikasa Ackermann, and Jolyne Cujoh. There were my biggest picks, but I wanted to have a underdog story, since each championship match had to follow such storyline. I look at the participants were; Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and Crimvael. I went with a personal favorite in this case, so Crimvael got the billing.
The Weiss Schnee match at Broken Eclipse had some original storyline involving with the "KMF" kneepad, but sadly, it'll never gonna get the payoff that I had spend planning and setting up for the next Festival. That kneepad was my first miracle since I didn't have much plans afterwards.
In the World Tag Team Championship Tournament, I had some interesting choices but I did regret on the presentation. I wish I could had separate both divisions like the World Championship First Round matches. Because having to introduced both sides in one night. And I wish I could had used the other tag teams for the tournament, and could had cut it down to 8 tag teams, but I stuck with the whole 16, well 17 teams. I wanted to make it as a big epic scale of tag team wrestling, but I'll admit, I was way over my head when it come to a division that I had the hardest times on writing.
On a side note; no, there's no Trios Championships since I never planned on doing as such. Tag team matches are hard enough as it is.
I would had placed Dreamwork as the Men's Tag Team First Round, and Imperial Crown will be the Women's Tag Team First Round. And having both Osprey and Censored as the late entrants, I immediately regretted on adding them since I had this "trade off" writing style. But I continue with it, and see what I can make.
Dreamwork was always meant to be the starting point for the Tag Team division, but again, wish I had separate both divisions, because it' such a pain on writing it.
The triple threat tag team matches and finding out on who's should I end, I wish I could had placed Censored in the Shonen Death Machines versus the Outcast Heroes on Dreamwork, and having Osprey in the American Rhodes Church versus Gravity Leap, since as much I do love both Senku and Tsuyu, this might be the last time we're gonna get them in PWA unless it's something special or one nights only. Tsuyu is one character I do want to bring back, since she's my favorite FanFic ship with Deku.
Speaking of trade off writing, Victor Nikiforov with Gina Boyd was written off of PWA due of actual IRL politics, since originally, it was meant to be Yuri that supposed to be kicked out of the Victorian Empire. Not Viktor. Viktor was gonna go full on Russian terror mode. Being the heavy hitter for the Empire.
The match between the Red-Headed Bombshells and the American Death Scythes had immediately shows me that I made a mistake on putting Erza and Yoko as a tag team. So throughout the year, I was looking for a tag team replacement partner for Yoko since I want a secondary belts. Plus they're build around a small interaction back at the Patterson Classic and I found it cute. The idea of a red-headed female characters are always some of the most erotic theme characters but could be due of the fiery red hair they are. Grell Sutcliff was originally was one of the options here, and perhaps work as the image consultant, being the manager role. I'll admit, it was actually something I do regret on dropping, but I might bring the idea of Grell with the gimmick in besides being a member of the Red-Headed Bombshells, but would fit the theme though.
There was two stables I was inspired for Censored; Hit Row from WWE, and Injustice from MLW. The idea of Injustice that I love the idea of being censored by authority, hence the name. Another inspiration of the group is the Black Lives Matter movement, and Huey was originally filled to be leading the group but changed it to Riley who's meant to be the manager role like Louis. Choosing the members is actually easier, since I wanted to bring Ogun, Don and Harriet into a group. It's like how the MC Rejects were first created with Akko, Deku and Oscar. There was another reason why I choose the name "Censored" that it was based around the piledriver Riley does since the piledriver had been censored/banned in WWE. And the other is a social theme of having a black man being censored by authorities and higher class. It's like a Batman ideology of becoming fear to put fear in others. If I had a childish reason for the name, it would be that I love the idea of having a backstage segments of a Censor Bar to play on the FCC's censored bars but treat it like an actual bar, like the APA bar. But I will continue on censoring the actual N-word for common sense. Have you seen an episode of Boondocks? Riley says it like it was going out of fashion.
Global Economy is something I had to put together on a whim. But since this is FanFic wrestling, I can play the rich kids gimmick, but with actual rich anime characters. Byakuya was always meant to be in the one I wanted the most. Both Andrew and Lux were the tag alongs since they're the tag teams. I do find it funny to me that both of them had female potential love interests but didn't get them. Diana and Akko became the show's favorite ship, and mine too. Lux had already lost Steela, and I doubt Ahsoka went back to him when she needed help. Both of them are more alike to one another, and I'm using the American dollar theme for Lux due of Star Wars is an American franchise. Byakuya is gonna be the main man in the group since he gives me MJF vibes. He's a detestable human being when you understand the Danganronpa game, and how he treat Toko, using her. He sees himself above everyone else, even after the events. There was an original plan on giving him the "I'm Better Than You" theme to him while both Andrew and Lux will be using "I Come From Money".
The Uzumaki's lost was planned, but this is where the starts of the Uzumaki drama I wanted to do, but I'll explain more on that later on.
I did went with Luck and Magna to be in the Black Bulls group, but there was an actual backup group with ASTA and Yuno being the tag team with Leopold Vermillion being the singles star, but I went with the Black Bulls instead. There was meant to be a group of Asta, Yuno, Leopold and Rill Boismortier with Noelle, Sol Marron, and Mimosa Vermillion as a unite. Calling them the Royal Knights. Sometimes go with the Royal Knights Order to play on the RKO moniker, but scrap it and stick with the Black Bulls. Fun fact, the Black Bulls versus the Demon Slayer Corps match is one of my favorite matches I had written.
Los Dados Cargados or in Dub, The Loaded Dice which is the name I picked out for Miguel and Tulio to play out their trademark loaded dice in the movie. I believe I brought this tag team to be in a feud but didn't went through with it. But now I don't have much of a tournament arc to worry about. So I can possibly bring them in for a feud which they were originally meant to go over Yuri and Viktor in the first round, but I had to placed Censored in the match, which I instantly regret and wish I could had taken away the idea role for them, because I could had placed the triple threat lost for the Freeman Brothers since they were plan on separating from the tag team gig to do their own thing.
I think the reason why I brought in Mai Tokiha and Natsuki Kuga is because I want to give the anime My-HiME or Mai-HiME some love. And there was some ideal that Mai could be a member of the Red-Headed Bombshells since orange haired anime characters are either red heads or brunettes, so I went with Misty Waterflower (not a canon name, but a FanFic name like Brock Harrison) Pokemon logic here, and made Mai a red head in my POV. But dropped the idea.
As for the Kamui Sisters, Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuin, they was an actual plan I had came up but like everything else in the final version. This is one of the tag teams I wanted to break since there was a plan I wanted to do with Satsuki Kiryuin, and the reason I broke up the Higurashi Twins is that there was supposed to be part of a storyline that leads down to the Festival.
The Dragon's Wrath name was literally one of those names I just tossing names in the air. I should had stick with Fairy Dragons since the Black Bulls and Demon Slayer Corps gets to keep their names but Natsu, Gajeel and Laxus didn't. I did had the idea of having Sting and Rogue to be the tag team, but I stick with Gajeel and Laxus, and originally, I was gonna bring Wendy's Edolas version to match the Fairy Tail theme, but then I remembered that the reason why it's called the Dragon's Wrath is to bring in another classic anime into the fold, Lina Inverse from Slayers.
Having Nora and Yang as a tag team was an odd pairing for me, but I do need heavy hitters to provide bodyguards for Blake then there were planted ideas for the Finals, but thanks to the RT controversy later the year, pretty much screwed the storytelling.
The American Rhodes Church of having Ritsuka Aoyagi and Koichi Mizuku wasn't my favorite choices since I wasted Viktor and Yuri for the Victorian Empire, but I went along since the ARC needed a tag team. And having a two gay characters that has a questionable love stories at best, more specifically Ritsuka due of him being 12 in his series while his lover is college age. Having a theme of them having domineering partners which is an older man for Aoyagi, and a literal Titan for Mizuki. Having a cult leader of Adora, taking in some acctual potential groomed victims into her group to empower them while also bastardizing their series and themes for being the wrong kind of representation of a gay relationship. There was supposed to be a fourth member in the male group, and it was meant to be Mitch Downe from ParaNorman, to serve as the bodyguard. Something like a Deacon Batista role.
The Magical Boyz of ORE and Yumoto Hakone were brought in for a feud, but I do like to give a shoutout for a magical boy genre which I would explain more later why I brought them in. But I also needed a tag team for Mamoru to back up. I think I was originally wanted to make them the pompous and flamboyant gimmicks but kind of scrap it but might bring it back.
The Galliards coming into PWA is based on looks, due of the hairstyle but they became a blessing in disguise since when Weiss needs a Blitzkrieg subgroup for the Victorian Empire, they serve as Laura and Lousie bodyguards. Then they ended up replacing Victor and Yuri in the end.
I originally never meant to introduced Amity in PWA since I was gonna go all in with Akko and Luz as a tag team since they could easily be best of friends. Calling them the Wicked Witches is due of how chaotic they really are, despite being the adorkable characters.
The Quarterfinals: Summer Stampede and Beach Storm
Having the women's Quarterfinals to be held onto the Summer Stampede was the planned idea since I want to work the motif of women's wrestling is like running with the bulls.
The match between Blake and Mikasa was actually based around Death Battle. Blake somehow ruined Mikasa for me, and before I had written the match, having Blake cheating to win is the planned book. But thanks to the results of the Death Battle, I had the displeasure on writing this in the most ironic way since I can't argue with their results. It just made sense to me. I could had spitefully written Mikasa to win, but I had an idea ending for the arc, and damn it, I'll go through with it. Even if it meant to hurt me. If there is a good thing about this, at least I had written that Yang got the beating which to continue on how dislikeable Blake can really be. Since I was planning on making Blake a manipulative sociopathic tyrant. Actually, Blake and Adam roles in PWA are just opposite roles from their RWBY counterparts. That was the idea, but I want to take Blake to the max while Adam is slowly turning into a redeemed villain. But for the shake of RWBY canon reason, I do understand why, and Adam's age is one of the reasons why my FanFics/Headcanons are destroyed.
Speaking of burials, this give me my second Summer Stampede burial match in the form of a tag team match. The first one was Deku beating Makoto. Now I have the American Death Scythes beating Nora is something I just written on the spot. Which I ended up ruining later on. Yeah.
I believe at this point, I did want to put Marinette and Asuna to go over, do my own switch-a-roo of the Semifinalists. And I did argue myself that maybe Marinette can be a better underdog story, but like Vince McMahon headstrong manner, I went with my pick of having Crimvael to go to the Finals.
Having Maria the Virgin Witch speaking French with Marinette since to me, this was my Dr. Strange to Spider-Man fanfic placement. It's something I wanted to write, and seeing that the Third Act is taking place at Paris, perhaps we'll have Maria to come back again.
I introduced Elm to be in PWA but mostly a bodyguard position. I choose Elm because she's a waifu favorite of mine.
Beach Storm, like having a tournament arc, is basically my "Beach Episode", and I just thought of doing a bikini contest since beach parties or such, there seem to be such contest. I grew up on that kind of comedies and contests, but I wanted to do a reverse beach episode since having the men division which you do see half naked men competing in a match. And I choose each judge and participant for a reason. Keeping the bikini contest offscreen is a planned idea from the start since I'm more interested in the judges mindset, and how they would take it.
Natsu is from a series where seeing half naked women or bikini tops isn't new or interesting since he sees Lucy or Erza naked all the time, nor isn't special. It's just a morning from him, and his series, women are either double D's or double A's there is no inbetween. Beach episodes are nothing but fanservice, but if you placed them in this situation, would they take it seriously?
Here's a fun fact about why I made this bikini contest. It was Gurran Lagann beach episode that got me thinking about it. It's what Yoko said about using the imagination of the bikini, after how disappointed they were from Yoko bikini, which again, I'm applying Fairy Tail logic here, they seen Yoko in a bikini before. It's not that special. So I kept the bikini details offscreen so the readers can use that imagination or just copy and paste the bikini looks they have in their shows and universes.
I was never planning on using PWA talent for the contest, I choose fan favorites that possibly won't be involve with PWA.
Zakuro Fujiwara was originally meant to be part of this tournament since if I remembered correctly, she was a model character in the series, but I replaced her for Chizuru Mizuhara. And Angel Dust was a late entry since he would love to outshow and outdo the other participants for a bikini contest.
Calling Yor an old hag in the contest was supposed to be a joke to the people who watch anime will only thirst teenagers and teen characters, but having Kirito saying that nobody doesn't care about an adult main character turned it into an age joke switch the idea scene around. And I already did something like that back at the First Anniversary Night 1, Patterson Classic match with the old anime characters to modern characters. Like I had seen so many girls thirsting over Sasuke before Shippudden I believe. Or maybe it was Shippudden, I don't know, but they thirst over him.
There was an original winner and the running joke for the bikini contest. It was Komi that was supposed to win it all, and the joke is that she never came out to show off her bikini and she won the whole thing without even trying. Then Blake, being PWA Blake came by and ruined it all for her, and we was gonna give the reward which was Kazuto present to Asuna from losing her match at Summer Stampede, a briefcase hence hinting the introduction of the Diamond Championship in the coming events. But the contest is rigged and promoting Asuna being this perfect main heroine that the rest are just cheap copies of herself.
I don't think I was never planning on making Marin an onscreen character or even be a talent, but that changed from a review. It was Anime America's review of My Dress-Up Darling on saying that Marin is too perfect, gave me a storyline idea. So I decided to make Marin part of PWA afterwards, and will serve as a feud beginning point. So I changed the results and everyone seem to agree that Marin is the winner. Pretty much pointless for the bikini contest.
As for another joke, having Owen doing a tribute to Big Dick Johnson that till this day made me laugh. I was inspired by the Miz and Layla El lap dance at No Mercy when I had written this scene. Keeping the Beach Episode theme, the only bikini like person the audience get to see is Owen giving the Kirigaya's a lap dance.
But from that lap dance tribute, I was inspired of another character gimmick change, and it was involve Akemi Soryuin. A year earlier, I fell in love with "How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?" series, but I saw how low Akemi sees those who aren't dedicated to exercising, got me inspired of it. So the idea of Akemi turning heel in the upcoming months came from this lap dance alone. I was just writing her quirk from Summer Stampede but I tended to like this idea of her being a heel.
Beach Storm is the debut of the Censor Bar. I only did this for the pun. And I'm still gonna do it, because I find it funny and fun.
The Censor Bar was the feud between Huey and Byakuya started with Censored and Global Economy. Also in the very ending of the Censor Bar, I get to play out the Star Wars line of scum and villainy, I always wanted to do that for a scene. Plus this bar did a scene that I was happy to do in the next event.
The Semifinals: Deadman's Hand
I want to get this out of the way, I wanted to do a Beauty and the Beast style of motif. But having Adam doing the show advertisement is perhaps my favorite since it was the Jonathan Young version, which I used again for the Gaston song which imagining a drunk Oscar is actually pretty funny. Deadman's Hand is pretty much my favorite event outside of the Festival, which after this arc, this event is my arc's favorite.
I screwed the Women's Tag Team Tournament so badly, I'll possibly explain more in the Finals. I wish I could had kept the four way match to myself, since it ended up biting me in the end. But in a cruel twisted way, it might had became a blessing in disguise in a some degree.
I think the original match was supposed to be the American Death Scythes going over Salem before I had written Nobara to cost both Gravity Leap and Salem a double disqualification elimination. I ended up loving Salem, and I do wanted them to be part of the tag team title picture, but it does pains me to write that Salem is the first team to be eliminated.
The main event of the evening was always meant to be Blake and Charlie. It was their second meeting, and I wanted to treat it like a big time WrestleMania main event, but I also had to push the Adora feud to Charlie so I can have a Festival match.
The Men's World Finals, there was a point of having Eren losing this match to Tanjiro, but I didn't have anything for him afterwards or at the Festival.
I'll admit, I didn't want to give the MC Rejects a clean win against PERFECTION since it was a simple David versus Goliath match, but this does meant to fuel up a potential feud.
The event holds my favorite matches I ended up writing; the Freeman Brothers vs. Outcast Heroes; MC Rejects vs. PERFECTION; Blake vs. Charlie; Kirito vs. Luffy; Eren vs. Tanjiro; even the four way elimination match was fun to write. This would be a hard event to top. The Freeman Brothers had two great tag team matches that ended up becoming some of my favorite matches to write, this and Animals Brutality.
The Diamond and Franchise: Horror's Eve and Global Warfare
The Diamond and Franchise Championships were something I wanted to introduced. Actually, it was originally gonna be a 8 person tournament but slowly turned to a 8 person Collision Course match. Diamond had an interesting backstory. And the Franchise had the hardest name to come up for. There were two belts I was inspired to make them; the Million Dollar Championship for the Diamond, and the recently Owen Hart Memorial Belts for the Franchise. But here's the main problem that I was 50/50 on, the secondary belts was meant to debut for the next arc, because I couldn't come up with a name for the Franchise Championship, so the Diamond Championship was meant to be on a delay debut while both Horror's Eve and Global Warfare were meant to serve as another anime troupe; a filler episode.
The Diamond Championship was actually created by an old sexist term; "diamonds are girl's best friend". And I said to myself, "maybe there should be a diamond championship" and it stuck with me ever since.
ORE and Yumoto switch-a-roo was always planned to be the moment where Nekomaru and Gundham to bring back. Fuyuhiko and Peko is still up for the debate.
Here's an Easter egg for me, that it comes from my RWBY FanFic called, The North Tournament. I reused one of my favorite songs for May Marigold, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" song I used as their entrant song. But since Robyn Hill VA does sing, I thought the idea of having her singing May and Snap down with the song with the Grease theme. Plus having Snap and May as the Pink Ladies, which inspired the Grease theme for the Happy Huntresses. It made me happy that I got to use this song for May Marigold again. Also, this is also the debut of the "O:TP" idea since it's a play on word of "one true pair", but I nixed it into the "Osprey: Trans Pride". Till this day, I still given out a half baked reason why I call them Osprey, but it was just to get to use the Elevated theme from Will Ospreay, since it has the words "Ospreay! Ospreay!" then the TP added, it was nothing more but a coincidence that I got to use the "OTP" for the "O:TP".
A next arc idea that I had planted here is that I have a storyline written for Yang and Jolyne. Being the badass blonde characters with Joey. It's the name I had to pick out for this to work out.
I was quite happy to do the Hit Row entrance for Censored which I debate on who get to be Swerve and Adonis, but since I remembered Riley wearing a jacket similar to Adonis, I just went along with it. And I got to use the RPG Vice entrance for the MC Rejects. Actually, I was debating on giving Reiner the Alex Koslov looked rather than the Orange Cassidy look, and he was gonna have the headset too. There's another reason why I put these two together, this was meant to be a throw away match between Censored and MC Rejects for the event.
Here's an original Night 2 opening contest for the Festival but placed here. It was supposed to be Black Star vs. ASTA at the Festival. It's a Napoleon Complex feud that Star thinks ASTA is using Star's superstar status to make himself bigger. This was supposed to be a year long feud between two of the shortest male members of the PWA. And ASTA was originally meant to go over in the feud, but since I introduced the Franchise Championship, and needed bodies for the match, this match ended up being rescheduled for Horror's Eve instead. In order to continue a three way feud between the three groups. This match wasn't the only original Festival opener but I'll discuss that one later.
Another original planned Festival match was between; Nobara, Marinette, Ochaco and Jolyne in a four way match. Marinette was originally planned into this match was from the injury angle, which I forget that it was an unplanned angle, of Adrien back at the Festival who's also was originally planned for the Collision Course match at the First Anniversary. Plus Nobara running through Jolyne and Ochaco, Marinette was a nice touch that was also originally planned to be a singles match before this arc. But things turned out differently, and ironically, these two are the first World and Diamond Champions in the end where they were gonna have an Outlaw Rules Match. But I rescheduled it all into this match between Nobara and Marinette, since I didn't really have plans for either after the Festival. The big bad bitch of the women's locker room, and the quirky underdog babyface ended up as my first champions which I might end up being called a miracle.
The disqualification ending is actually planned out. But also lead to the the DoW match at Global Warfare, also needed an excuse for it too, and wanted to bring back Adrien Agreste for the match itself.
The original ending of the trios match was that Alejandro and Andre was supposed to betray. But there was supposed to be an original build up that Yuri was kicked out of the group months earlier but wanted to bring Viktor out of the group, but was turned instead. Then if it was the one I had written down, it was Viktor who didn't like the abuse that Yuri had to deal with, but only to be betrayed and rejoin the Empire thus kicking Yuri out. But having the Galliards replacing them was perhaps the right decision to make in the end.
There were so many original ideas for the Final Warfare match in the men's night. I kept fighting to myself over and over for the Final Warfare Match. The original match up was meant to be DENJI, Takemichi, Kafka, and Senku versus Luffy, Naruto, Boruto, and Ichigo for DENJI to get his match with Goku at the Festival.
Another men's warfare teams was; Alejandro Burromuerto, Black Star, Goku Son, Kazuto Kirigaya, and Nagito Komaeda versus ASTA, DENJI, Eren Jaeger, Mamoru Chiba, and Yuri Katsuki. But I had written Yuri out from Horror's Eve for the Galliards, Eren doesn't seem like a team player, and I pull the plug of Star and ASTA out of the Festival.
So the final team was switching ASTA, Star, Jaeger, and Kirigaya for Huey and Byakuya, but I put them into a match in this event, so I went with Global Economy and the Victorian Empire against Animals Brutality and Censored, and to further the GE and Censored feud for the Festival. It's like the AEW post war games problem, stretching a feud long after the big climatic finish.
Another original planned moment in the Final Warfare match was in the women's match, turning May Marigold heel. I was planning on doing a side feud between Blake and May throughout the year, and it comes to an end here. And this is where the ARC was originally gonna be used for, and the main conflict between Adora and Charlie. All of this was around May, and the story goes back to P 'n' P. The story around May was turned the other cheek, but Charlie is holding but trying to be reasonable why. While Adora is using reasonable tactics, but manipulate the situation around Charlie's way of holding May back. The final pinfall was something like this;
"May grabs the chair that was left in the ring but Rosemary. Blake turned and notice that May has a chair. She trips back and begging May to stop. Charlie enter Ring 2 to confront May. Telling her to go back and she'll handle this. Adora rushing in for a clothesline, Charlie ducked then jabs Adora to a corner. Continues to beg, but May caught a turning Charlie to smack her on the head, knocking her down. May took a deep breath and arm signal Blake to make the pinfall. Adora came up to May, who went down her knees and pledge her allegiance to The American Rhodes Church, Adora hugs her. One... two... three...!"
The idea was having May join up with the ARC was the original setup, and was meant to lead up to a big push in the next arc. But there were several problems that lead up to this. One; it's the World Championship arc. Nothing isn't meant to be above the main plotline of the championship, and Crimvael wasn't involve with the final moments since they're the finalist with Blake, and this scenario is around the Blake and Charlie again. Two; Osprey. They were the babyface tag team that doesn't want nothing to do with the ARC. Three; I just didn't do it justice for the turn. Four; it doesn't help Crimvael on getting the big win against the main villain of the tournament arc. Five; I didn't have plans on making Snap a heel, to join the ARC and was gonna be lost in the shuffle which I already have enough talent that are lost in the shuffle. Five; one of the backup plans for tag team situation was putting Osprey the tag title match at the Festival by winning the DoW match with this ending thus that have next arc implications problems alone. The only thing I could do for May and Snap is the Steen-Generico situation. That might be the only solution, other than that, I got nothing else.
RWBY/RT Controversy
I'll make this short. I honestly didn't think one company could had change the booking decisions for the Wrestle Festival 2. If you had read the Noncanon Version of Road 2 Gold Night 1, you can see how much RWBY does effect my company here on FanFiction. Mostly the women's division since I do love the women characters from RWBY more than the male characters. But damn, how much the women of RWBY ended up causing a huge overhaul shift to creative.
The PWA King and Queen Championship Tournament
There was the point in this arc that I wanted to make a mixed tag team championship, since I got both sexes championship, and to me, it felt wrong for leaving out the mixed tag team division, but I held it off then scrap it since I want to focus on the championship belts I did have currently. So I save the idea for the next arc, but I didn't have an original teams for the finals and didn't know what night to pick to put them in.
The Finals: Wrestle Festival
First off, I forgot to give Dragon Age: Absolution, and the Legend of Vox Machina a Festival shoutouts since there were my favorite shows of that year.
The Patterson Classic. I didn't know that I was planning on doing a women's division for it since they had it last year, but then I wanted to follow the Royal Rumble tradition of having the winner to challenge the World Championship at the original placement is supposed to be at Imperial Crown, but went with winner's choice.
If you looked at the order of the entrants, you can see that I went with; their first anime debut. The Men's PC Match is going up, while the Women's PC Match is going down. I loved the idea of this, but it was supposed to be the other way around but seeing that Usagi and Chel was gonna start the match up, I went with what I written, And yes, it was originally meant to be a 20 participant match but the whole RWBY controversy, which dictates the Diamond Championship, so I had to add the additional 10 more into the match itself to make it feel epic in scale.
I think I might had screwed up with Boruto, and Marcel Galliard debut at Season 2 of Attack on Titan.
Ash Ketchum was never meant to be in the PC Match, but after his win at the Pokemon Journeys, I had to include him in it, and told a story with him and Luffy. Because both series had been together for the longest time, they went coast-to-coast from their debuts to their finales. Picking out who to win the Men's PC Match was gonna be Ash since he did accomplish his goal that Luffy is still going. But it was changed to Ichigo winning since his show was the top of My Anime List, I had to capitalize on it. That's why I had him eliminating Edward in the match. Ichigo was meant to be eliminated in the middle, and not meant to last long into the match. I think he was meant to be eliminated by Adam and Shirou.
But here's another thing that whole RWBY controversy did effect the Men's PC Match is that during the 20 person then the first revision that I did had it written but the whole event wasn't finished, so it didn't got a Noncanon version as Night 1 did. But the winner of the match was originally meant to be Alejandro Burromuerto last eliminating Luffy. Hence why the original placement of the Championship matches was at Imperial Crown at England.
As for the women's division, it was meant to be Usagi winning the match, getting a match at Imperial Crown, to match the whole royalty motif. But since the Diamond Championship was involved, I had to do something different. Looking at other options, I had the idea of having either; Mikasa and Korra to run with the belt, but picked Marinette since she did eliminated both of them in the Noncanon version, I said; "fuck it. I want to see how this will turn out." So I give Marinette the chance to run with the Diamond Championship. Speaking of the Diamond Championship...
Night 1.
Funny story about the whole Diamond Championship. I originally was gonna make the first champion from the Patterson Classic, but then I decided to make it to the Collision Course to match it with the PWA Franchise Championship, but funny how things come back to something that's meant to be the original booking. And I had a hard time on coming with the PWA Diamond Champion. And another original booking decision is that Nobara Kugisaki wasn't meant to win the Noncanon version, but was meant to win it at the very first original PC booking of it. And yet in the Canon version, Nobara ended up winning the main Championship in the end.
As for another Diamond Championship booking fact in the Noncanon version, if you look carefully on who's part of the Noncanon version is that all from the Shonen Jump female characters, and since RWBY had a Shonen Jump manga, adding Weiss is the logical reason. And having Weiss Schnee winning it would had been a big upset to me since I'm like, "I had been building the whole rivalry with Nobara and Jolyne this whole year, but one of them ain't winning it, feels wrong somehow." But it was the WWE Intercontinental Championship match where Zack Ryder won it. And I had decided to go with an option on picking out who's the most unlikely to win it. So making Weiss and Ochaco it came down to, since I love both characters. I had switch it up from Weiss to Nobara at times, but I went all in with Weiss since I had a long term storyline for her as the Diamond Champion, plus since RWBY want to play a pun game with Winter Schnee being the Winter Maiden, then I'll make Weiss Schnee the American Snow Diamond as our Diamond Champion. And this was icing on the cake because...
During the World Tag Team Championship, having Laura and Louise winning it just felt like a rise of an Empire with a little twist added onto it. But before I talked about this match itself, there were original plans of course.
And this is where I talked about the American Death Scythes. They were, from the very beginning of the Arc, was booked to win the whole tournament. It was all set up from having Weiss removing her kneepad back at Broken Eclipse against her match with Charlie in the World Championship first round. I didn't have a first winner, but that kneepad became a miracle to the result. Turn it into the Victorian Empire versus the American Death Scythes for the finals, and yes, the VE is meant to be the finalists.
I had it all map out till Deadman's Hand where the overbooking of the Women's Tag Team Tournament that cost me. As I said that the American Death Scythes was meant to be a finalist was planned. I even made them go through the Declaration of War Battle Royal, but I argue myself that "if I do this, I'm shoving the American underdog story" down in people's throats. I booked myself into a corner with this one, because if I let the ADS win the four way match at Deadman's Hand, it just buried three other teams, but I booked them to win the DoW Battle Royal, they just buried nine other teams. I screwed myself out of something that should be so simple and yet, I fucked it up.
Plus there's a wench that was thrown at me in a form of Rosemary. Because I was doing an angle with her, I had to add the triple threat concept into the Finals, I said, "Alright then! It's gonna be Yang and Nora, because Blake will find a way." And right there, I had my second miracle but still found a way to fuck it up. Because I love an idea of the whole Ruby Rose and Maka Albarn going against Weiss' subgroup called Blitzkrieg with the Galliards, and Blake's partnership with Yang and Nora.
Everything was setup till Deadman's Hand again. And I didn't want neither ADS or Yang and Nora to win the DoW match, so I booked myself into a corner again. Having the VE and Yang and Nora in the finals was set, but it was the third team I had to pick out on who should take the place of the ADS.
The DoW Match was gonna set up for Osprey; May Marigold and Snap Dragon, but they were involve with a different program, so I had to literally pick out on who's to win the DoW match till I had this thought; "Hibiki and Ayaka had work with the VE, I could work a revenge win for it." And I work with this angle, and book them over Osprey at Horror's Eve. The backup was TDI, then Kamui Sisters. There was a point that the ARC was meant to be the Finalists, but I went with VE, ADS, and N/Y before it went straight to hell afterwards.
Then I came up with a possible aftermath and I can keep the original triple threat match but much more of a main character scale involving all four members of Team RWBY. And this is why VE was my third miracle of this match. Adding Gina Boyd as Weiss' heavy, and keeping the VE international jewel motif since I gave what jewel Gina was gonna be, and it was spoken in Russian back at Global Warfare. So in a way, getting Hibiki and Ayaka involve became a third miracle for me, and VE winning is whole damn cake with Weiss winning. And Blake would had fired whoever got pinned from her team, hence why Nora gets pinned in the match. I was so excited for this storyline, I wrote it down then... Rooster Teeth's controversy fucked this miracle writing for me this time. The first two was my own damn fault, but the third, I said "fuck it I'll work whatever result I come up with." So that's the story of the mess of my World Tag Team Tournament.
I had mentioned Rosemary, so I want to talk about this program. This match was meant to be Night 1 opener as a singles match. That was the original idea till I came up with the neck injury angle, but that means I had to keep Rosemary active to keep this feud alive for an entire year. So I had to add #KAM, with Sage and Thyme. But there was an original two members that Rosemary sponsored was Tenko Chabashira from Danganronpa V3, and Miharu Shimizu from Baka and Test. But I got lazy and stuck with High Guardian Spice. Adding that Luz not being involve with the World Championship tournament was a late decision, then pair her up with Akko. This is basically the Blake-Charlie Feud 2.0, and had Rosemary costing Luz a match and revealing the false injury is something I wanted to do for a long time to get that singles match, but I had to get Sage and Thyme involve, so I made the tag team match instead. Then goes for the Trios contest adding Amity involve. Plus needing more world title contenders for the next arc.
There was an actual original trios match that I had written down for Night 1; Panty Anarchy, Ryuko Matoi, and Towa Higurashi versus Satsuki Kiryuin, Setsuna Higurashi, and Stocking Anarchy. This was hinted back when I broke up the Higurashi Twins then slowly bring in Satsuki and Stocking into a new group called the Sister's Sorority. It's a sister's superiority gimmick that they're not only the superior sister in their shows, but also the only reason why everyone is watching them. I believe I was gonna pull the trigger at Horror's Eve, but the World Tag Team Tournament was a mess, I had to make sure I got a tag team I can fall back to. So I kept the idea in the back of my mind. The Sister's Sorority was one of the very first ideas that I had written early in the Arc, but I drop the idea. I still have Setsuna Higurashi on standby, but don't know if I would pull the trigger, or I might find some more characters to fill the role.
The Charlie and Adora feud is another one was originally to be a singles turned trios match then back to the singles match. This one had an interesting side plot that was also originally meant to be one of the TDI versus the ARC. The ideal of that storyline was meant to be; any religion and cults always dwell down to tragedy, despair and insanity.
That's one of the paths I wanted to do with the ARC. Somehow... it kind of did made it into this route, but this was due of my planning. But Cody Rhodes jumping ships changed that for me, and the "retirement" of Mr. McMahon also inspired this concept.
Adora wanting to exorcise the Devil, making Charlie is back into the original matchup. So I had to come up with a storyline, but I thought of natural progression against extreme progression. Like an extreme left winged person telling a regular left winged person that they aren't progressing right. Having the idea that Adora was inspired yet delusional that Cody must had only wanting to destroy WWE from the inside is something of having Charlie representing and seeing natural progression as a sickening ideal that there's no such thing of changing personality. Like the concept of Hazbin Hotel, change. It's like an Exorcism of Progression. So to Adora, like how wrestling can't progress as long Mr. McMahon/WWE is still standing, she needs to get rid of those who's holding progression back, even if they're standing on the same side.
As for Osprey getting involve, it was meant to be a tag team match between Osprey and ARC, Catra and Glimmer, but turn it into a trios match since Osprey are on the side of natural progression rather than enforcing their beliefs and ideals down in people's throats. So the ARC believe that Osprey aren't "real" transwomen and using the transwomen storyline as a political stunt, thus holding progression back real transsexual. But I would ended up ruining the twist and reason why May turned heel, that Charlie was meant to win the match, no matter what.
But after RT controversy, I ended up getting a mixed results of getting the singles contest of the original singles match of Adora and Charlie, and a triple threat tag team match of ARC, TDI and Red-Headed Bombshells.
So this match that triple threat tag match is pretty much a throw away match, but also let me write Glimmer out for now. Plus introducing Kallen Stadtfeld, which I decided to use. Like Hannah Whitehouse and Natalie Blackstone, I tend to love an interesting sounding name. So I went with it, but also it's my way of retconing a tag team of Erza Scarlet and Yoko Littner, since Kallen could fit more with Yoko more than Erza.
Speaking of triple threats, the match between Asuna, Junko and Rias didn't really happen nor I didn't had a real plan, so I went Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression writing here since all three do rely on sex appeal than actual character. If it was actual character, Junko would win that one, but it's basically just Non-PC fun storyline and the last triple threat match from last year that Asuna was part of. So I just let this go whatever in the end. If there's something I had originally booked for Horror's Eve to Wrestle Festival is the Rias entrance. A dedication towards Jessica Rabbit.
The World Championship match was something I was proud about. The original plan for Blake winning was starting my own reign of terror storyline with her as the main villain. And starting it off by beating an angel in the most despicable way of winning. I even had a perfect way on the original ending of the reign. Now I can't use it.
Having Crimvael in the Finals was something meant for me. It's like seeing Orange Cassidy or Danhausen getting title matches, please shoot me if they win the actual World Championships, but I do understand why they're there. Throughout the World Championship bracket, I had Crimvael being the underdog in the story, and even a potential rewrite that I nearly made. I wasn't too sure on them making through the tournament, but I almost made Asuna the potential finalist, but Beach Storm and her loss became the birth of the Diamond Championship.
So how would I compare my Women's World Championship tournament is to the AEW Trios Championship Tournament, a story of two tournaments. One side had the best of PWA women's division, while the other side is questionable at best. But I do try to make the other side to be the build up of a new main eventer, since I can't always rely on Charlie vs. Blake match. I made some mistakes here since I got Adora and Asuna. But I went with Crimvael since one, they're one of my favorite characters, two I want something new to reach to the top, and three, some little representations sharing the top. If Tony Khan favorite is Orange Cassidy, and he's allow to have an actual championship run, then anyone can booked their favorite to win any championship in their promotion.
Crimvael betting the odds till the Finals was something I had a different ending to it. It involves Elm on costing Crimvael to let them know on how the real world works, by Blake showing off how politically manipulative and having the innocent looking characters to be ruined by the cruel. That was the one of the ideas that was planted in my head, since Elm is also one of my favorite RWBY waifus, but I need a payoff for it. It was tough on making Crimvael reaching the top, only to knock them down. Like Blake is going with Lucifer's Fall idea but Crimvael will show everyone that they're go through hell. Blake was gonna add a Messiah complex to her character, by calling herself the "Living Breathing, Mythical Human Being". Blake sees Crimvael an angel that's meant to serve a higher being, and Blake was that one being, even above any Gods themselves.
Not gonna lie, I felt like I was somewhat saved by the Collision Course match, since I didn't want to hand over the Championship to Crimvael, because I honestly don't have an overall plan as them as Champion.
Plus an other way on determining the World Champion was the Patterson Classic, but like Crimvael said, I didn't want to have 29 other people who didn't work hard on getting it. So the Collision Course was my option since I had seven other participants who sees the Diamond Championship as a second chance, and now, this was their second chance to the World Championship.
Ochaco wasn't meant to be the final two, since it was Crimvael, but Ochaco could provide an underdog story better than Crimvael in the match, and has beef with Nobara.
Nobara becoming the World Champion was possibly the only option I could had gone with, since everyone here was never meant to win a Championship, but Nobara was originally meant to win the Diamond Championship at my first mental draft when it was introduced. And I can work with Nobara as Champion.
The World and Diamond Championship was meant to share a Tale of Two Belts storyline since both Champions were from RWBY and at opposite sides.
The Women's Championships had been a rough end, but I'll have to deal what the cards I'd been dealt with.
Night 2.
There were plans for Alejandro Burromuerto on getting his own match in the Festival, playing the whole the Imperial Crown Jewel role. And this was before the PC match. The original idea was him going over against Monkey D. Luffy. But then I nixed it to a trios match with Burromuerto, Grandier and Nikiforov against Luffy, Miguel and Tulio. Then it went down to Burromuerto and Grandier against Miguel and Tulio, but didn't felt right for some reason. That was early mental drafts till I came up with the whole "winner at the Festival, makes you a World Championship contender in the next Arc" into a stipulation, so I mentally changed the whole event. Hence why I booked him to win the whole PC Match till I finally changed it to the final version. I had a heel promo from Ciel ready to type and just let him be this imperial British asshole with a group of unlikely winners. Plus, during the mental draft, it was meant I did regret on putting Yuri and Victor in the group, I had to change it up by replacing them to the Galliards which was meant to be a long term payoff, but now I'm deciding on rewriting the whole payoff due of RWBY controversy. Weiss winning was the whole chain that kept the VE from losing entirely in the Festival. Losing Weiss turned out to be their biggest lose, and couldn't come back from it.
Speaking of such, I honestly hated on writing Harriet out of Censored since I love the group idea. And since black anime characters are such a rarity, both Riley and Harriet are under Anime inspired shows, and I love their style. But losing Harriet is like losing my own Swerve Strickland. So the match with Akemi had been scrap. And for the match between Global Economy and Censored was something I fell in love with. It's a simple story of rich and entitlement versus poor but hard workers. Censored losing is planned but losing Harriet is a huge loss. But I might end up replacing Harriet for someone else, because I remembered reading a tweet from MVP that not all black wrestlers can be put together. So this got me thinking, and this was before the RWBY controversy, so I originally meant to bring in a non-black character while quietly remove Riley from a wrestler status and fill up the manager role. But I might end up replacing Harriet for Cindy from the Boondocks. Maybe, but still debating on this development, because maybe I'll go with an on screen character change.
There is an original planned match between Naruto and Boruto since the Global Warfare Match was the last straw to this setup. What got me inspired for this match? I was watching Invincible where Omni-Man beating the holy hell out of Invincible then the idea that Naruto is meant to be the Omni-Man to be Boruto's Invincible just click. But I honestly didn't went through with it due of not feeling it's the right time since I want the Championship belts to be the important topic of the events, and didn't want the Uzumaki drama to be in this night, so I'm either holding it off till I decided to pull the trigger or call it off. Overall, I must had missed that chance for a proper payoff.
The triple threat trios is basically me thinking to myself; "if Fairy Tail, Black Clover, and Demon Slayer Corps have a fight, who would win?" And I had to remind myself that I had to write a trios match, and these were a pain in the ass to do so. You feel like you had written a ten page epic match of an iron man match, but really that could had been a like a twenty to thirty minutes of a match, if you're doing the tagging paragraph system I'm doing instead of the pinfall breaks. Having six people to tag in is a bitch, so I went with the lazy booking of having a tornado rules match. Not a Lucha tag rules. Just a straight up car crash of a match.
This match was originally meant to be two different triple threat matches with Laxus and Gajeel versus Luck and Magna versus Inosuke and Zenitsu, while the other is ASTA versus Natsu versus Tanjiro. But I went with Trios match since the winners were the Fairy Tail characters, plus it does help out on the whole World Championship Contenders stipulation, since these trios are like 2 #1 contenders set in one package. Do I regret on doing the trios? Yes. Because they're a bitch to write.
All three groups are based around the black ops/mercenaries gimmicks since the Demon Slayer Corps are the black ops governmental group in their show, the Black Bulls are basically the police of their show but been viewed as the "bad cops" of the kingdom, and finally, the Fairy Tail's Dragon Wraths are the mercenaries in their show since they're not treated as cops nor black ops. All three have somewhat governmental jobs in their universes, but if I put them together, Fairy Tail would end up winning. Seriously, if someone would end up flipping Lucy, that would cause a world war for Fairy Tail.
Having Fairy Tail event hosted in the next arc, is just something I want to bring back one of my old concepts of PWA. And might do this every year, but it has to be a large set of cast to have a 8+ match card.
The whole feud between Hope Over Despair and the Magical Boyz was over Colleen Clinkenbeard comments on female anime characters. And then the subgenre of Magical Boys genre, it got me thinking; "wouldn't that be a superhero show? Like the Power Rangers? Or does the Power Rangers is basically a Magical Girl & Boy show?" So I argue with it to myself, but having it start with Nagito and Mamoru is the best place to start. And this is one of those singles turned trios matches rewrite, and I wanted to bring back Gundham and Nekomaru with Akane and Sonia. There was at one point I was gonna do a mixed quartet match with Sonia and Usagi getting invovle but didn't have the willingness to do so.
Back to the match theme, Nagito believes that the Magical Boys subgenre is a misogynistic term of men asserting their male privilege and overtake the magical girl genre thus bringing despair. Believing the Magical Boy genre is spreading despair and trying to influence those who want to write a magical boy show. Plus they seem like the perfect trio to feud with.
DENJI and Goku match had been scheduled since I came up with the concept of it. But it was gonna be the second Shonen Jump Deathmatch, but that would be a bit easy. And the original finish was DENJI delivering the Paradigm Shift to a forward Goku. It was during the ref bump was the original ending, but I added Hope Over Despair to get involve since Goku represent hope itself, so they'll make sure that hope won't lose.
There was another twist to this match, and it did involve with the Uzumaki drama earlier. DENJI was gonna introduced the Four Horsemen of Jump, meaning the death of Goku's vision and ideology. But been slowly retcon throughout the year down to DENJI, Kafka, and EMMA, revision them for the next arc. But the twist was that having Boruto Uzumaki to join DENJI, Kafka and Senku as the fourth member to replace Takemichi. But since it was meant to be an ass kicking from Naruto and Boruto healing up from it for a quick match time, I scrap the whole twist and kept it between DENJI and Goku. The idea of this feud is to let the old finally rest and let the new take over, but like how Vince McMahon kept coming back, Goku will find a way to win, even if it means to bring down his own creation.
But seeing how Chainsaw Man turned out to the Japanese audience that wants it to be rebooted, kind of dictates the results. And Bleach coming back for their retribution from a decade long absence.
Picking out the PWA Franchise Championship participants was the pain in the ass to choose. Because unlike the Diamond Championship motif, I didn't really have one here. I just either picked one out of randomness or that I need someone to do outside of the PC match. But seeing that most of these participants are in groups, I can work that everyone is relying on their allies. The second option was, like the Diamond Championship, make this the reward of the Patterson Classic, but didn't since I wanted to bring back the Collision Course match. I don't know what would be better, having a WrestleMania Intercontinental Championship Ladder match or the Royal Rumble match that's happening in one night. Like the Patterson Classic, I want the Collision Course Match to be a Festival match with the Patterson Classic.
When I came up with the Franchise Championship, my first champion was always gonna be Joey. There some points I wanted to give it to Bow, and recently to Izuku. But I stick with Joey to the end.
Speaking of sticking with Joey, I wanted to host another memorial event towards Kazuki Takahashi called "King's Spirit", but there might be a chance I'll have this event be around the next Arc, replacing one of my other Events for the year. I think I have it around my notes, and matches idea but this was pre-Festival setup.
The name of the Franchise Championship was just something I had a hard time coming up. I was gonna go with the Intercontinental Championship, but I had a Intercontinental Memorial Championship which is meant to be presented as one of those trophies you can take home while the company can keep the actual trophy at the office. Another name was the Internet Championship or even the FanFic Championship. But when I was asking myself when the Diamond Championship was first concept when I book it. This came up on how a diamond is created, by pressure. And then I added that making your own franchise can also provide pressure then the name hit me right there. Franchise and Diamonds are made by pressure, hence I decided the names.
There was only one title change I had made, and it was the PWA Men's World Tag Team Championship. It was originally meant to be Oscar and Deku winning this since I love the adorable underdog story. And I had also made a change of the Deku and Reiner tag team team up, but for some reason, I didn't feel comfortable that they're the tag team unit in the MC Rejects. So I switch it up between Sokka and Deku, since Sokka has the Warrior mentality to match Reiner.
The Men's World Championship. This might be the only Championship that haven't been deviant from the path. Eren Jaeger was always booked to win. It's more of how he would had won the belt. Back at Deadman's Hand, it's the only time I kind of have second thoughts of having Eren as a Finalist since my fall back feud was him against Luffy at the Festival while I got Kirito and Tanjiro as the Finalists. If it was down between Tanjiro and Kirito, it was a coin toss. But Eren was always planned out on leaving the event as the winner.
Having Kirito beating Goku, Luffy, and Yuji is meant to represent that Kirito is above anime's Past, Present and Future, because to himself, he is all rolled into one.
I think I had slowly build up Kirito versus Eren match for a very long time, due of how much the former love to mentioned that he brought anime to mainstream instead of Eren. And the finals is based on Bryce Papenbrook comment of if Kirito and Eren fought. So that stayed with me for a long time till this event. So I had to make it happen.
I think I made the theme of Eren and Kirito into Reality versus Fantasy, on how both shows had changed ideologies of anime writing, but to Eren, reality always beat fantasy. Having the finish of having Eren choking it out with the finisher called Bitter Reality.
Final Thoughts
This year had been the toughest year for PWA, but it's a way to test myself as a writer since I'm also working my own light novel.
Am I happy with the final results? Um... there are some hits and misses. But that's the point of a wrestling company. There is no perfect company, or even perfect booking. Hell, I write FanFic wrestling for goodness shake, and it's not the perfect company. I can literally write a perfect company I can but you read what were my original plans for this arc. There are some ideas I wanted to do, but didn't want to pull the trigger. Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward on what ideas I come up, and what might be dropped.
But I kept some ideas and facts from this Arc because, you think I'm gonna spill the beans? There might be some I kept hidden away because those stories had been deviant from the path. As I said from last year;
"Professional wrestling is a singular yet an anthological story. Multiple personal anthology stories going aroun in a singular narrative storyline. Professional wrestling is an artwork, a creative process to a writer like me. It's a story that can tell multiple stories into one grand story."
So I'm looking forward on working on the All In Arc. And in the words of Stan Lee from Mallrats: You keep reading 'em, I'll keep writing 'em.
Cheers!
