Adam woke with a start today knowing he would be seeing Kim, he couldn't wait. He worked out at home before showering and eating breakfast. He intended on meeting up with Kim early so they got more time together. He noticed a text stating she was going on her run and would talk to him when she got back. It included a photo of Kim in her running gear. He thought she looked beautiful even in running clothes. He decided to watch a little tv while he waited for Kim to do her thing. She was up later today than normal so he hoped they would still have extra time together.

Kim started her run on her normal path while noticing the same car as yesterday. She decided to hit the one way streets again to lose the person tailing her. She really needed to find another route that would be harder to follow but that led to other challenges too. For now this would have to work. She returned an hour later, locking the doors and headed for her shower. She needed to be quick to meet Adam in time. After her shower she grabbed a banana eating it fast as she texted Adam where to meet up. Both taking cabs to the agreed upon location.

Adam had arrived first as he was closer to the location and waited patiently for Kim to show. As she stepped out of the cab she ran into his arms hugging him tight. Her gym bag dropped to the ground. "God I missed you!" Kim kissed him hard as he held her up with ease. "I missed you too. You have no idea." Adam kissed her back knowing time was limited. As he placed her down on her own two feet they headed towards a near by park. Adam insisted on carrying her gym bag that truly weighted nothing but she let him. It was nice strolling the park, hand in hand, as they walked towards her dance studio. She was dreading going but she didn't have a choice. Her mother made that clear.

They arrived at the studio minutes before class began, just enough time for Kim to get out of her sweats. She had dressed for class at home and covered with sweats so it was easier. She tied her pointe shoes on and headed into the class. Adam watch from the doorway knowing he wouldn't see everything but enough to know she was safe. It was the first time he actually saw her dance and he couldn't get enough. Her moves were elegant and smooth but he could tell her heart wasn't in it anymore. Her eyes didn't sparkle. As the hour long class ended he waited for her to exit but she didn't. Then he heard loud voices coming from inside. He peered in to see the instructor yelling at Kim for her lack of effort and looking disinterested. Adam made his presence known by knocking on the door. "Kim we got to go. Come on!" Adam called out hoping to send a message that this wasn't happening.

Kim quickly exited the room throwing in her sweats and changing her shoes as she ran out of the building. Adam was close behind her watching the instructors every move. Once outside Kim hugged Adam tight. "Thank you for coming in there. I really didn't want to hear it. He knows I dint want to be there so why yell about it. It's frustrating. But it's over for today. Let's get some take out and head to the park for a picnic." Kim was wanting to move away from there and relax with her man. Really who wouldn't? "Sounds like a great plan. Let's go before he comes out here." Adam grabbed her bag again throwing it over his shoulder and head her hand as they walked towards a local deli for lunch.

As they left the deli with a sandwich and salad for them to share they headed back to the park wanting nothing more than to relax together and enjoy the sunshine. Summer would be over before they knew it so they wanted to make the best of every minute of it. In the park they found the perfect location in the shade against a large tree to set up camp. They ate in silence just enjoying each other's company and watching people that past by. People watching can be a very amusing activity in the right setting and here was prime viewing time. The couple was so engrossed in each other that they never realized they were being watched and photographed.

When they finished eating Adam threw out the trash in a near by garbage can and came back to settle against the tree. He moved Kim to sit between his legs and pulled her back against his body. Wrapping his arms around her, content with her in his arms again. He smiled when he realized she had fallen asleep and he did his best not to wake her. He did however take a photo of the two of them to show her later. Even if she would be annoyed about it.

Kim awoke around 30 minutes later hearing kids playing in the park. She looked back to see Adam watching her. "Should I be creeped out by you watching me?" She giggled as she moved to peck his lips. "Flattered not creeped out. I love holding you, knowing you feel comfortable enough to fall asleep in my arms makes me incredibly happy." Adam kissed her back as they settled back in to watch the kids running around. It seemed like daycare had let out for the day with the number or kids and what appeared to be nannies running around.

"I guess we should start heading home?" Kim sighed not wanting to break up this moment. "Maybe but a few more minutes won't hurt." Adam started a kiss that has been sweet in the beginning but grew more passionate as it went. A full on make out session in public was probably not the best idea but neither cared in that moment. They only pulled apart when their lungs were screaming for oxygen. Their foreheads resting on each other's as their heavy breaths mixed. A few more soft pecks happened before they opened their eyes, seeing nothing but love shining through. Neither was ready to say it though. They were young and it was their first relationship.

"Come on let's get going before our parents come looking for us." Adam helped Kim to stand before getting up himself. One hand never leaving her side. As they walked to get cabs to go home they held hands and bumped into each other occasionally. It was silly and light hearted but it was them and how they felt. Neither had to wait long for a cab before sharing one last peck before heading off. They exchanged texts the whole car ride, more to ensure the other was safe but to also just stay in contact.

Adam arrived home to an empty house and a note from his sister that she was with friends. His dad was working. He sighed and started to make a simple dinner for himself. He wasn't a good cook as he was only 13 but he had to learn a few basics so he didn't starve waiting for dad to get home. He was pretty used to it at this point. Though he did love when the neighbors would drop off things knowing they was alone often. Adam loved having neighbors that cared enough to pitch in, while it could be an issue with everyone knowing your business Adam loved it. It was probably 2 hours later before his dad arrived home with pizza from a local joint. Adam was t really hungry but ate some so he would upset his dad.

Kim had arrived home to her mother making dinner and just waiting on her father to get home from work. She went upstairs to shower off the sweat of the day before coming down dressed for dinner. As the family sat around the table for dinner they all talked about their days. Kim stayed quiet, she didn't want to talk about her time with Adam let alone talk about her dance class. It would only start another argument with her mother about continuing to dance. Kim wasn't that lucky though, her mother pressed the topic. "How was your class today Kim?" Her mother asked. "Terrible! I don't want to be there and it shows in my performance. And he told me off about it. So yeah it was great." Kim huffed not wanting to argue anymore.

After dinner Kim helped with the dishes before returning to her room. She was happy to be alone again so she could talk to Adam. They texted throughout the night talking about random things but they enjoyed this. What Kim liked most was that Adam admitted to enjoying the book Kim had leant him and she offered him more books to read. They both knew the next day they wouldn't be able to hang out but Saturday before the club and obviously during the club time. He hadn't been to a club before but Kim and Erin had been there a few times. They both joked about Jay was going to be uncomfortable at the club since it was completely outside his comfort zone.

It was nice having this time together, neither had a care in the world. The night ended with both Kim and Adam struggling to continue texting as they both were falling asleep. The next day both texted throughout the day but spent the day on their own hanging with friends. Adam and his friends played sports all day never seeing the person taking photos of him. Kim and her friends went to the mall shopping for school clothes. She also didn't notice a person taking photos of her as well. They both enjoyed the day relaxing with close friends, being kids like they were supposed to be.

Saturday arrived and the couple was stoked! Knowing they were all headed to Erin's place to hang out before heading to the club. Erin's foster family had a pool so they planned to swim for most of the afternoon before hitting the club. Kim went for her run to start the day like always. Avoiding her follower who seemed to not be giving up anytime soon. As she arrived back home she showered and ate before heading to Erin's. Adam took more time relaxing that morning knowing he wasn't heading to Erin's with Jay till early afternoon. He packed a bag with several outfits for each situation. He was excited to see Kim in a bathing suit again. Hoping it would be his favorite red one he saw at the beach.

As they arrived at the Voight residence Jay and Adam knocked on the door as waited for someone to answer. Adam was bouncing on the balls of his feet with nervous energy. "Dude! What are you nervous about? It's Kim and Erin. Chill!" Jay groaned as the door opened. "Hey Mrs Voight. Can we come in?" Jay asked politely. "Come on in Jay and Adam. And you know you don't need to call me Mrs Voight. Go on back and I will bring snacks shortly." Camille stated as she showed them in. "Thank you ma'am." Adam says as he moved towards the pool area.

"Hey ladies!" Jay called out as they walked outside. "Hey guys!" Erin got out of the pool first followed by Kim. They hugged their respective partners before getting back in the pool. The boys joined in after changing into their swim suits. Adam had been slightly disappointed that Kim wasn't wearing his favorite swimsuit but this one looked amazing as well. The four swam and play games in the water for about an hour before Camille brought out lunch for the group as well as drinks.

"Thank you for lunch Camille! It was great and I was starving!" Kim hugged the women that she saw as a mother figure. "You are welcome sweetie! Now enjoy the pool before you guys hit the club." Camille winked at them as she left. Once she was back inside the kids jumped back into the pool hoping to get some sun before heading out for the night. Kim and Adam eventually headed to the deck chairs to dry off a bit before taking turns showering. "You know I never got to tell you how hot you look in this bathing suit. It might be my new favorite." Adam kissed her cheek as he spoke. Kim blushed right away before responding. "Well you pretty hot too!"

They ended up leaning back in the chairs holding hands as they enjoy the sun shine in their skin. It was quiet but it was nice, relaxing. Erin and Jay both laying on floats in the pool bumping into each other occasionally. "You know Er they look really happy together." Jay mused as he watched Kim and Adam. "Yeah I know. It's like they are perfect for each other. I just hope nothing ruins it, like their families finding out. That would be a disaster." Erin sighed. She wished they could have what she had, an open honest relationship with her parents. But Kim definitely didn't.

The group eventually headed in to take showers and get ready for their night out. They decided to hit up a local pizza joint before heading to the club. While the club offered drinks, food was not so they made sure to eat before hand. The boys of course were ready before the girls, Erin was ready but was helping Kim get ready. Kim wanted to look perfect for the night out with Adam. As they headed down the stairs Adam's jaw just about hit the floor. He couldn't believe how beautiful Kim looked. Her outfit was fancy or racy but on her it looked stunning. "Damn! You girls look beautiful!" Adam says as the girls enter the room. "Thanks baby! You guys ready to head out?" Kim asked as she kissed Adam softly.

"Yeah let's head out." Adam held out his hand for Kim to take hold. Erin and Jay followed behind just shaking their heads at the cuteness their friends displayed. They took a cab to the pizzeria that was just two blocks from the club. The group shared two pizzas as the6 chatted about the up coming school year. It was probably the first time that Kim was excited about the new school year since it meant less time with Adam. They needed to have a conversation about it before it drove Kim completely crazy with doubt and insecurity. But that could wait till another day. Today was about having fun with Adam and their friends.

When they arrived at the club they noticed several people being turned away, presumably because they were too old, that gave them all a relaxed feel knowing security was doing its job. As they got closer they could already hear the music outside, it was loud and thumping. The girls started to groove before they even got in the doors. Once they reached the inside the headed to the second floor which housed the dance floor. The first floor had pool tables and TVs on the walls. Not want the girls were looking for at all.

Once upstairs Kim dragged Adam to the dance floor, she planned on dancing the entire night. "Darling i don't know how to dance!" Adam laughed as she wouldn't take no for an answer. "Just feel the music. Feel the beats as it vibrates your body. It's not hard just start by swaying your hips, now follow my lead." Kim took his hands and helped him dance to the music. They didn't even notice Erin and Jay dancing close by. Jay wasn't a good dancer either but no one cared. An hour later Adam was getting winded and needed a drink. They headed to the bar area for waters. They found a chair off in the corner of the room to sit in and rest for a bit.

Resting didn't last long as they started a very intense make out session in the chair. Things were definitely get hot and heavy when Kim pulled away needing air but also knowing they were too young to go further. "Adam Baby um I think we need to cool this before things happen that shouldn't." Kim was also concerned because Adam was already erect and there was nothing Kim would do about that. "I know and you are right. I just lose my mind around you. And I can't control what you do to my body. Even the first day we met, this happened. It will go away hopefully soon." Adam hugged Kim holding her close hoping his body would relax.

"You make my body go crazy too but we are way too young to even think about this. We definitely need to wait a few years before we can even think about it. I hope you are okay with that." Kim said as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Darling I completely understand. And I completely agree. You may just need to remind me sometimes. But know I will never rush you or force you. You tell me when you are ready because I know that this will be more of an effect on your body than mine. And I want you ready for it." Adam knew the older she got the better it would be for her body and mentally it would be better. "Thank you baby! Let's dance some more!" Kim dragged him back on to the floor to put some distance between them.

As they danced the night away the couples got closer dancing in the same space as the other. It seemed like they were magnets that couldn't be separated. Erin's foster father, Hank, was picking them up at 10 so they started to head towards the exit but neither stopped the hold on each other. When they got in the car they chattered away with Hank about their night at the club. He was just happy they had fun and were safe the whole time. Hank dropped the boys off at Adams while the girls were having a sleep over. The girls planned to sleep the night away, they were exhausted from a long busy day.

When the boys got to Adams room Jay started to interrogate Adam about Kim. "So what exactly is going on between you and Kim? It looked a little intense earlier. You are not being stupid are you?" Jay was concerned for his friends. They seemed to be falling hard and fast. "Well we are dating each other. Things did get intense earlier but Kim put the breaks on before something stupid happened. We talked about how that can't happen because we aren't ready for it and we are too young but I also told her she will need to keep reminding me because I stop thinking when I'm with her. I also promised not to rush her or force her, I think that was important to say as well." Adam admitted as they settled in to bed for the night. "I'm happy for you both and I'm glad you are talking about these things. That's important. And I'm glad you seem to be on the same page about things. I do have to say that you both seem to be falling hard and fast so be careful." Jay offered as he laid on his bed to sleep for the night.

Adam was left thinking about his conversation with both Jay and his mom. It seemed that outside people saw what they are feeling and that concerned him. That meant their families would figure it out sooner rather than later. He still was t concerned enough to change or end things with Kim. He was certain about his feelings for Kim and that's all that mattered. He fell asleep that night knowing he/they were in it for the long haul.

As the next month went by the couple had several long talks about heading back to school and the strain it would put on the relationship. They had agreed to work extra hard to talk everyday and to see each other at least twice a week. They both were involved with sports inside and outside if school so it would be difficult but they were determined and honestly that was god enough for them both. They trusted each other enough to know they would try their hardest to make things work.

Today unfortunately was one of those days where their schedules didn't line up. But they were at least able to call each other as they traveled to their next practices. "Hey Darling! You on your way to dance yet?" Adam asked as he sat in the cab. "Yeah and my mom is picking me up tonight after class. Oh the joy!" Kim stated sarcastically. "Still no changing her mind on the classes?" Adam asked knowing the answer already. "Nope. She thinks it's good for me. I'm so over it though. I have been more months. It's not bad, I just don't enjoy it anymore. I would rather do something I love, whatever that is." Kim sighed. She was outside the studio dreading heading in. She knew it would be another argument after class about her attitude but she couldn't help it at this point. "Well on the bright side we have time tomorrow to hang out so maybe a picnic in the park again? While the weather is still nice." Adam hoped to make her smile again. "Sounds good babe. I know you just got to practice so good luck and I will call you later." Kim said her goodbyes before Adam wishing her luck with class and she headed inside.

No one was prepared for how this day would change all their lives going forward especially Kim. The hour long class finished and her mom was running late. Kim was annoyed but knew she couldn't leave because that would start a fight with her mom. Kim waited outside enjoying the fresh air and avoiding her instructor. She wasn't lucky though as he called her inside to chat. "Kimberly if your attitude doesn't change I'm benching you from the next recital. I won't allow you to make me look bad." He spoke with his own attitude. "Bench me it's fine. I don't want to dance anymore. I have wanted out for months now and you and my mom won't let me so bench me. It's fine with me." Kim tried to walk away but stopped dead in her tracks heading his reply.

"Maybe if you put as much effort into class as you do that little boyfriend of yours you wouldn't be benched!" He spat at her. "You! It's been you all along. It wasn't a coincidence. You have been following me and him. This is insane. I'm going to the cops!" Kim tried to walk away but he grabbed her by the throat. "Oh no you won't! This is your fault! You have been a bad girl. Kissing someone else, it should have been me! If you won't give me what I want I will take!" He forced Kim towards the desk squeezing her throat harder. "Please don't do this! I will behave. I will give you whatever you want just please don't do this. Please I beg of you!" Kim was sobbing in fear but it was too late.

Her dance teacher, a man she should have been able to trust raped her bent over his desk. When he finished Kim left sobbing and call Erin for help. Erin of course showed up with her foster father Hank and was taken to the hospital. "It's going to be alright Kim. You are strong and will get through this. I will be with you every step of the way. Hank is calling your parents now. Should I call Adam?" Erin wasn't sure how to handle this but was trying her best. "Please don't. I can't look at him right now. I can't see the look of hate in his eyes. He's going to hate me after this, I hate me after this." Kim cried harder thinking how her life was over.

"He's not going to hate you. He cares about you so much. I promise you that but I won't call him for now. Let's just focus on answering the questions from the detectives and getting the tests done." Erin stayed the whole time. Holding her hand, wiping her tears and giving encouraging words. Nothing a 13 year old should go through. "Excuse Kim can I ask you a few questions?" Hank asked Ashe entered the room watching Kim nod. "Okay great. I know you said it was your dance instructor. Has he every been inappropriate before today?" Hank asked cautiously. "No but he's been following me and Adam. He pretty much admitted to it before he raped me. I told him I was going to call the cops and that's when he grabbed me by the throat." Kim cried out harder again, Erin pulling her in for a hug.

"Okay we have officers at his place right now so maybe there will be evidence of stalking as well. The more charges against him the better. Did you say no?" Hank asked knowing the response he would get. "I begged for him not to do it, pleaded and yes yelled stop as he was raping me. But he didn't. Said he was taking what he wanted since I wouldn't give it to him. Like Adam, being with Adam triggered this man to go nuts." Kim had no idea how to move forward. "Okay look I'm going to be honest here. This is going to be hard and it will get ugly. But I promise you in the long run it will be worth it. Sending him to jail will be worth all the pain and heart ache. Hopefully he takes a plea deal, not that one should be offered but they probably will so you won't have to testify. I strongly suggest you seek therapy as soon as possible. It won't fix it but it will help. And we are here for you, day or night." With that Hank left to go talk to Kim's parents.

Kim was overwhelmed with emotions. And felt sick, dirty, broken, angry, sad and a whole list of other emotions. Her World was crashing around her and she couldn't see a way out of the darkness. There was one thing she knew for sure and that was that she needed to break up with Adam. She couldn't bare for him to break her heart out disgust for her and she hated herself. She couldn't love him if she didn't love herself. She wanted him to be free, to find someone who could love him like he deserved. Kim was released from the hospital later that night after the tears were stitched together and her blood work was all fine. She was given antibiotics just in case. The small comfort was because she was raped anally she didn't have to worry about pregnancy.

When she arrived home she took a scolding hot shower and threw away the hospital scrubs she left in. Her clothes were evidence so she wouldn't be getting them back anytime soon. And honestly she didn't want them back. After her shower she saw several missed calls from Adam and just as many text messages. She didn't even respond. She didn't know how. She just laid awake all night staring at the ceiling. Closing her eyes brought on flashbacks so staying awake was better. But her mind raced and it was out if control. The next morning she showered again but still felt dirty. She scrub her skin raw and she still felt disgusting. She sat at the breakfast table and couldn't eat. She just wasn't hungry. She went back to bed and stared at the wall blankly.

She was brought out if her daze by Erin entering her room. "Hey. How are you today?" Erin asked as she sat down. She noticed Kim moved back slightly, creating more space between them. "I can't sleep, flashbacks happen. Can't eat. And I still feel dirty, the water just isn't hot enough to burn away the filth. And I don't know how to talk to Adam he keeps calling but I don't answer." The blank stare was back. "Kim he's here. He scared and worried but he's here. He wants to see you. Can you let him in? Just to talk." Erin asked not sure what Kim was thinking. But was happy when she shook her head yes.

"Adam you can go in but don't touch her. She's really fragile right now. It's not good." Erin had t told him what happened but that Kim was hurt to at least calm him down some. He deserved to hear it from her. He nodded and walked towards her room, he was scared and behind worried about what happened. No one would tell him but they all had a knowing look. "Hey Darling." He said as he walked in before really looking at her. "OMG Kim what happened to your throat? Baby what happened?" Adam tried to touch her but she flinched away. He was more scared now. This was worse than he imagine.

"Um yesterday after class my dance teacher attacked me. And he raped me." Kim broke down into a full sob. Adam just stared at her like he could trust his own ears, did she really just say rape? "Baby he did what to you? OMG! Are you okay? Stupid question obviously you are not." Adam was angry and shocked but also sick that someone could do that do his girl. "I'm not okay and honestly i don't know if I ever will be. What I do know is that I'm so incredibly broken and I feel so incredibly dirty. And quite frankly I hate myself. The only thing I know for sure is that I need to break up with you. Not because I don't love you because I do. But I don't love myself and I'm too broken for you. I want you to find someone who can love you and be able to be touched without screaming. I want you to be happy. I want you to live. I want you to be free for that to happen. I'm sorry but please just go and live a full and happy life Adam. Please." Kim begged him to go. She didn't want to ho,d him back.

"No Kim! This isn't over! We can fix this. We can work this out. It's okay. I love you enough for the both of us. We will be fine, I promise! Kim just don't do this. Please don't leave me. Kim please!" Adam was crying now, begging for her to reconsider but she just got up and walked towards the door. "Kim please don't do this! I love you!" Adam begged her as they stood outside. "It's too late. It's done!" Kim closed the door ending the conversation and their relationship.
