Kassidy Kane, 18, District Six Female
Fingers ran over the arm of her sleeve, fixing it as her plate finished rising upwards. Cold air instantly hit her and it made sense as to why she was dressed as she was. Taking in a breath of cold air, she zipped the fur lined jacket around her.
Mountains lined the sides to the left that she could see and it made sense. Something told her that there would be no seeking shelter in those. From her spot, she could see a lake about five miles or so away and knew she would need to get there soon.a large mansion like building loomed in the distance, no doubt trying to draw the tributes in.
60… 59… 58… 57… 56…
Another breath as she moved to a stance that she could get off her plate as soon as she was able to. Eyes searched around her, Del was across from her and she nodded her head left and he nodded back.
They would go left.
Oh how she hoped the both of them got out from the bloodbath.
Ramiro, 13, District Three Male
55…54… 53… 52… 51…
Eyes took the arena in. In the far distance he could see a large building and while he knew that it would be a risk to go there, it was one he would be willing to take. Adjusting his gloved hands, he searched for his allies. Sylvia was two spots down, and Bitsy was five spots down to his right.
Sylvia nodded to him, their plan was still on.
He was scared, but being here made it all the more real.
Either he would get out of this, or he wouldn't.
Time would tell.
Chive Winfield, 17, District Eleven Male
50… 49… 48…47… 46…
A breath in and out. From his vantage point he could see his weapon that had to be for him just a few feet inside the cornucopia. A small pack laid a few feet in front of him.
He had his plan then.
Grab the back, his weapon and take out one or two tributes that are non careers.
Shifting his hands, he let himself relax.
What was the worst that could happen?
Bitsy Flavis, 16, District Twelve Female
45… 44… 43… 42… 41…
She was confident that she would get out of this alive.
Bitsy drew in a breath, the cold sinking into her bones already.
I love you mom and dad, I'll do my best for you.
Percy Chalamet, 17, District Nine Male.
40… 39… 38… 37… 36…
Hands ran though his hair once more. Fingers tapped against his side.
A couple weapons were waiting for him and his allies and he found Astrid's eager eyes, smile on her face. The four of them would grab what they could and take out who they could. When it was safe enough, they would make their leave.
But he found himself ready, despite the nerves coursing through his body.
Time to show his parents that they should have paid more attention to him.
Chloe Crystal, 16, District Ten Female

30… 29… 28.. 27… 26…
He only had thirty seconds.
Thirty seconds of living left if everything went south. Finding his ally, he nodded at him, and let out a breath. Fingers twitched.
He could plan in thirty seconds
Damara Estridge, 18, District Five Female
25… 24… 23… 22… 21..
Time to unleash the beast inside of her once more.
Time to finally kill someone and not get arrested for it.
A smirk appeared on her face as she moved so that when it was time, she could move easily.
They would see who she really was.
Sterling Nadir, 17, District Eight Male
20… 19… 18… 17… 16…
His weapon laid only a few feet in front of the cornucopia. Thank god the sponsors had come through. This was his chance.
To prove himself.
To make himself memorable.
No matter what cost it may come at.
Reid Thasos, 15, District Four Female
15… 14… 13… 12… 11…
As long as she didn't do anything stupid, she would make it out.
Her and her allies would take out anyone that they could.
She had to keep the honor for her fallen loved ones alive.
For Maggie.
For Max.
And a bit for myself.
Evander Soren, District Two Male
10… 9… 8… 7… 6…
For mom.
For Aunt Clove.
I'll finish what she started with pride and honor.
I'll show them.
Flare Lockwood, 18, District One Female
5… 4… 3… 2…
Her chance to show that she wasn't second best. It was time to prove that she was the best.
Grayson wouldn't see what was coming for him.
Neither would their parents.
But that was a small price to pay if it meant fame and glory.
