"Morning," Saitama smiled and kissed Mitsumi's forehead.
"What time is it?" she winced and sat up to stretch.
"Not too early. It's just past dawn. The others already left to give us time to rest. We have plenty of leftover rice, vegetables and beef. You really did cook a lot!" he sighed and chuckled before sitting up with her. She kept a sheet over her chest in case any others came in, but he let her rest against him. She knew that Zenchu was out there even if some had left for Neutral Grounds.
"Yes. I froze what I needed to. Refrigerated other things from the shelving under my bed. I was…too ashamed to tell my new family what happened. Too scared that they would have been hunted down if discovered. I couldn't…really say anything…" she frowned. "Much less do anything."
"I know," he nodded and pulled her close to cradle her against him. "It's like I said. You went through hell. You didn't choose to do it. At the same time, it made you stronger. It severed you away from all of that. You learned how to survive and fight back in your own way."
"And now I have you," she smiled and got kissed deeply.
"You do," he nodded.
"Saitama?"
"Hmm?"
"Was there any monster out there that you couldn't kill?"
"Not really. Oh. There was one. But…eh…he flew away. I kept telling him he should've been a hero. He was helping people while trying to attack me. In the end, I punched him in the face after he punched me into a volcano."
"A volcano?!" she gaped.
"Yep! He damaged my cape, too, at one point. I got it fixed. And now it's even better!" he grinned. Then he saw her look of shock. "What?"
"Saitama! That monster hit you. Into a volcano. And you lived," she said.
"And…?" he frowned.
"You really can't get hurt anymore," she said with amazement.
"I told you so," he nodded. Then she poked his side. Then his chiseled stomach. "What are you doing? Mitsumi? Why are you trying to hurt me?"
"Can you feel a pinch?" she asked and tried to pinch him. She blinked that there wasn't even a red mark that was left.
"Nope."
"A small jabbing poke?"
"Nope."
"How about this?" she asked and gently traced a finger down his chest.
"Ah…yeah. I feel that…"
"Or this…?" she asked and ran her mouth over his arm to breathe out a hot breath of air. He growled and tensed up.
"Yes. I felt that."
"So…you can't feel outright attacks or pain. Even from me. But…intimate stuff…" she mused. Then she squeaked when he tackled her.
"It's like I said," he muttered and moved over her. "I can't feel pain. I can't feel any form of emotion. But…that's with everyone else. I can't feel anything if you try to physically hurt me. But I know you never intend to. I'm shocked that I can feel the gentleness you give me in your touch. I don't want that from anyone else. Only from you. It's why I said no one would ever touch me like you do after we finally got together completely.
"And when it comes to my emotions, I actually feel…a sense of need. To protect you. To love you. To punch anyone that tries to rip you away from me. I honestly feel that I would get the sensation of being torn in half if anything happens to you. Are you a weakness to me that way? I don't know. And I know it won't be, because nothing is going to pull you away from me. I won't give anyone or anything that chance. You've been through so much, Mitsumi! And I know there's probably even more! Stuff you probably can't remember now, but it's gonna come up!
"It's like when you had that flashback memory of what happened to you. I was so…pissed off! I couldn't protect you from that! All I could do was show that I meant every word that I would keep that from happening again. To wipe out that nasty memory the best that I could. To prove to you that I would never. EVER. Do that to you or let that happen to you again. And then to learn how your own family treated you?! Like a damned pet?! Some people are just…worse than monsters. It just…it floors me!"
"I know," she said softly.
"Mitsumi…" he said and pulled her close to kiss passionately before taking up her hand with his engagement ring on it. "I take you as my wife."
"I accept you as my husband," she whispered and let him have complete claim to her. It took them another hour before they were able to dress in their hero garments. He chose to wear the non-flashy costume as they were not performing. She wore her costume of his likeness. It was agreed to save specialty costumes for true performances only. He kept his arm around her waist on leaving the bedroom to sit at a table.
"Here you go," Zenchu chuckled and served them breakfast of cereal, toast, orange juice and hot tea. "Are we heading to the restaurant after this?"
"Yes," Saitama nodded and tucked in to eat. He blinked when his phone got a text message, and he pulled it up to view it. "Oh. Hmm. Looks like the hot springs is accepting S class again next month. Well, it belongs to the Hero Association, but the place only opens up at certain times of the year. I went last time around winter, I think. Now it's summer."
"Oh! I never went to a hot springs before. I always wanted to," Mitsumi chuckled. "Would they have the ability for us to bathe together?"
"Ah…I don't think they do at this one," Saitama frowned. "I guess we're not going if they don't."
"You can have a twenty minute soak without her," Zenchu snorted. "Besides, we would be guarding the way to her. She'll be perfectly safe."
"Eh…" Saitama grimaced at the thought.
"We'll see what happens," she smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Fine. We'll see," he sighed and put in the acceptance for reservation for him and Mitsumi. He also added a reminder that monsters from her family would also be joining for added protection. They were able to finish breakfast, and Kianna was soon walking in to help Mitsumi with her hair and makeup. Right after the apartment was locked up, they checked on Shenjou.
"How are you feeling?" Mitsumi asked and gave his snout a small pat.
"I am doing well. I will protect our grounds. And, ah…thank you for the excess food. It's nice to have something else to eat. If there is a troublesome monster that appears, let me know," he winked a large white snake eye at them.
"We can do that," Saitama nodded and pat his head before heading off with Zenchu, Kianna and Mitsumi to Neutral Grounds. On their way there, they found a new C class hero walking over to them. He appeared to be a body builder type with sunglasses and carrying a backpack for supplies while walking around.
"Hey! Um…are those bad monsters?" he asked.
"Nope," Saitama shook his head and kept walking.
"They are my family. Please refer to the Hero Association bulletins," Mitsumi smiled and squeaked when Saitama scooped her up in his arms to kiss her.
"Yeah, we work at Neutral Grounds. You can see the wall of who works there," Zenchu nodded. "Nice to meet you. Good luck!"
"Oh…um…okay," the new hero blinked. "So, who are all of you?"
"We just told you," Kianna chuckled and kept walking. "We need to get to work. If you want to accompany us, then that's fine."
"I'm new! I'm in C class. I'm called Pummeler," he said and was quick to catch up with them. Mitsumi now looked at him to frown softly. His brown hair was tied back in a ponytail, and his brown eyes watched them all with fascination under the sunglasses.
"Mitsumi and I are both S class. I'm rank 3. She's rank 4. She was just registered yesterday as Fan Dancer," Saitama said calmly.
"Wow! You're both in S class?!" Pummeler gaped.
"You could say that. I only just…mentioned it," Saitama said with a bored eye roll and rounded the corner now. Mitsumi giggled and snuggled into him to keep him calm. He gave her a gentle squeeze of affection.
"What all can you do?" the hero asked.
"Um…" Mitsumi frowned and Zenchu was quick to step in.
"Lady Mitsumi can attack and mesmerize with fans. It's a lost art that was only taught to her. Saitama can kill anything with only one punch. So…don't be stupid around him," Zenchu said with a small grin.
"Is he…training disciples?" the hero asked hopefully.
"No," Saitama said with a small mutter.
"Not right now," Mitsumi smiled. "We may have a dojo built in time, though. We are unsure of how it will go."
"If he does change his mind, I'll make sure to apply!" Pummeler said.
"Ah, if you do, you have to last against me in a five minute fight," Zenchu warned. "I won't kill you or draw blood, but you have to remain standing. Saitama has extremely high standards."
"Ah…oh…" the man cringed.
"Just keep training yourself and push yourself to go past your limits," Kianna advised gently. "Help everyone around you. That's how you can start."
On walking into Neutral Grounds, which had a massive golden sign on the top of the entrance for display now, Saitama had to pause at what was done in the two days they were in and out. The windows were airy, large enough to let in sunlight and each one had a red velvet curtain on each side of them. They were held back with golden cords, and there were bamboo blinds on each window to shield out the sun at various times.
The roof was vaulted and raised up to include a second story section for hero and fanfare seating for private meals from raffles. On looking up, a crystal chandelier was the main ceiling centerpiece that hung down to lightly obscure the second floor railing for mild privacy. Small fans dotted various beams for air movement to keep the delicious smells from the kitchen moving through the restaurant. There were small skylights put in to add even more light when it was needed that could open and close at the push of a control panel button.
The walls were made of oak planks and stained a rich, burgundy red with a glossy finish. There were light sconces installed with golden arms around clear glass flutes for the elegant light bulbs. The floor was white marble and flecked with bits of gold. The restaurant was even expanded out by ten feet on all sides thanks to Sweet Mask's negotiations. A side swinging door of oak was there for important meetings and gatherings. That room was decorated with the same flooring and lighting, but the walls were a rich, dark blue.
One thing that Mitsumi noticed was a spot next to the kitchen wall that was a complete empty space. It puzzled her on why that was when the rest of the restaurant was done up so beautifully. Zenchu was quickly making a headcount of who was seated and was floored at how packed the restaurant was with both paying customers and heroes.
"I…guess we're open officially for business!" Zenchu said with shock. "Within two weeks? And with all these upgrades? Damn! The Hero Association moves quick!"
"I'm going to sit with King," Kianna chuckled and was quick to do just that.
"Wow…" Saitama blinked.
"Yeah!" Mitsumi breathed. When they arrived, Kamiko was the first one to walk over to them from the greeting booth that was set up for appointments and seating by the entrance. She was elegantly dressed in a shimmering, low-cut purple blouse with a tight black skirt and black heels for the greeter role. She hugged Mitsumi tight and pointed to the right wall where the photos of current monsters and employees were in golden frames between and over the windows.
Her human photo was set right alongside her monster one, and it was the same for Tacki to show the truth on monsters wanting their humanity back. On the left wall between the windows were photos of various heroes with slots for raffle papers to collect and a drop box for possible training for the ones offering the services. There were empty spots for possible future monster photos if they were to join up, and there was another place for future human employees. Suiryu's picture was already displayed now, and he was able to fill out the needed employment form.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" Kamiko now shouted to the room to get everyone to focus on her. "May I introduce Fan Dancer and Caped Baldy! Caped Baldy is our current S class hero at rank 3! Fan Dancer is our newest S class hero at rank 4! They are engaged to be married at some point in the future! This is Fan Dancer's restaurant and officially opened for business as of now!"
Now everyone stood up to applaud her. Mitsumi found herself blushing and tearing up over it. Saitama chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"And, eh…call me Saitama. Please," Saitama sighed to get them all laughing. They were led to a small area sectioned off on the second floor to sit at for their permanent seating. "When was all this set up?!"
"During the days and nights we were out," Kamiko chuckled. "They installed a new way to serve food faster with robotic services in the walls to each table. That was from Metal Knight to start building trust with us. He insisted. People will pay and sign up for raffles through me at the greeting booth. I have employment forms there, too. Orotsu established a system for sending out trays, and Fumio will help with menus, ordering and other things.
"Richoo handles dishes in the back. Tacki keeps things organized and repairs or replaces anything damaged. Rendor and Tsuruga help with moving things and keeping the peace. Kianna helps with greeting people with Fumio. Inichi is…you know."
"Right. And…can we get something?" Saitama asked when he sat down to keep Mitsumi in his lap.
"Wait. There is a blank spot on the back wall. Why?" Mitsumi asked.
"Ah. We weren't sure what to put there," Kamiko admitted.
"Put a stage there for me to dance on with fans," Mitsumi said.
"Oh! We could!" Kamiko blinked and jotted down the idea.
"That can be a public dance, too. If the restaurant makes a certain amount at any given time, and I'm here, I can do a small performance dance," Mitsumi beamed. Saitama blinked at her with surprise. "Oh. Also, it has be from customer payments. I will not perform with the required amount paid for up front. That would not be right. It must be from proceeds earned legitimately."
"I was gonna say," Saitama sighed with relief.
"Same," Zenchu nodded.
"Lady Mitsumi!" Inichi chuckled and now hovered around the special table. "Your idea is amazing and quite solid. We can do that."
"Also, eh, wouldn't it be better to see about expanding the entrance to include the photos in there? This way we can use the walls to hold artifacts?" Saitama asked. "Sure, we'll have a little more construction. We need the space, though. It looks a bit cluttered in here."
"Hmm. That may be something we need to do," Inichi pondered. "We could safely branch out the front of Neutral Grounds a good ten feet. We can make an entry portal, in a sense. A small lobby. We may need to see about outdoor seating for overflow. I have been assisting with serving with Fumio. Suiryu is quite eager to start his training under you, too."
"Crap! I forgot!" Saitama grimaced. "I need a notepad. And, eh…a pen."
"Here," Kamiko said and handed over a spare set from her back pocket. Saitama began to write out what he did to start training, and Mitsumi looked up at someone approaching them. She smiled at who it was.
Richoo walked over to them to show that he had a question. Mitsumi nodded to him. "I wanted to ask. Um…my family…I know they want me to wait a year, but I was also unemployed. Do you think I could continue to work at the restaurant after I become human?"
"Oh! Yes! Kamiko does have employment forms. They should be here at the front desk. Of course, monsters don't need them. Kamiko doesn't need the form, unless she wants to fill one out. It can be the same with Tacki, come to think of it. I would see all of you as family, so I'd just…pay you all under the table, as they say. Of course…with the way taxes are…I may as well have them fill out the forms just for safety. Also, did your family have debts?" she asked.
"A lot," Richoo frowned.
"Tell Inichi how much. We can transfer funds," Saitama said. "It may make them realize that they don't have to wait a year for you if you can provide and keep them financially safe."
"Ah…thank you!" Richoo said with complete gratitude. "My wife…she wanted to see if she could stop by. She's in City M, but…"
"Say when. We can retrieve them all. If you want, maybe they can just live with us," Inichi chuckled. "We have no need for funds with Lady Mitsumi. Even with the wealth we found. We can build separate homes on our land now. It may be possible that we can purchase even more."
"I may have a sister somewhere…" Kamiko mused.
"See if you can find her. Also, a good idea to keep from food going bad. Make sure to take a lot of this extra food out to Shenjou," Mitsumi said to the others. "This can be a great way to ensure it all gets eaten and doesn't go to waste. We could donate some to local food banks, but we need to care for our family, too. Our family must come first. We don't know who else will join us."
"So…he's our trash compactor?" Zenchu grinned and gaped when Saitama looked at him with a small grin. "No! Don't hit me!"
"Why take the fun out of that?" Saitama asked now with a small pout.
"Oh! Hey!" Pummeler said when he finally managed to walk over.
"I'm sorry, but they cannot be disturbed," Kamiko said calmly to block the way. "If you need to be seated, I can escort you to a seat."
"I walked in with them," he said. "We were talking about me possibly becoming a disciple."
"Ah. Mr. Saitama?" Kamiko asked with a professional air.
"Eh…until I make a dojo…I'm not interested in new disciples," Saitama said calmly. Now Mitsumi rose an eyebrow at him. "What?"
"That means you'll never make one," she grinned softly.
"Eh…!" he blinked and coughed to clear his throat. "I never said that. As it stands, Zenchu would need to test him for five minutes as part of the initiation."
That got her laughing at him, and Pummeler was now able to sit at an open table and enjoy a good meal. Mitsumi suddenly blinked at Orotsu's long arm coming up to set a delicate dish of fried vanilla ice cream down to taste for him. She now realized that her table was set right over where he cooked so he could easily deliver specialty dishes to her through a trap door in the floor. Her jaw dropped when she said, "That is genius! So clever!"
"That was his idea," Inichi grinned. "You can put the dirty dish on the side table and ring the bell pull to show you are done with it."
"I…our restaurant…our dreams…" she whispered and burst into tears of happiness. Saitama smiled softly and rose up a bit to hug her tight.
"This restaurant is as amazing as you are," Saitama whispered to her. "It isn't going anywhere. All we need to do now is lure out that fake family of yours. We need to get married. We have a lot of planning to do."
"Yeah," she sniffled and accepted the tissue that Kamiko gave her.
"I'll fill out an employee form with Tacki later tonight. I'll work out the payroll with Inichi, too," Kamiko smiled and got another hug of appreciation. "I actually…feel good here. As much as I know I could explore, I just…I don't want to. It's a nice feeling."
"You can explore any new areas we purchase around our home," Inichi winked. That had her gasping with joy at that idea, and now she planned to see what else could be purchased around the main home. She also wanted to see about designing another area for a practice arena for outside training, dancing and other needs where Mitsumi danced before. The seating is already there. Why waste it?
Inichi picked up on the thought and sent a message to Shenjou to start making warning signs around the known proximity of the home. It was already agreed to and now being done. Then he mused at a basic dojo to be built for beginners. An advanced dojo could be built on Bane's lands. He sent the thought to Mitsumi, and she mused over the idea intensely.
"Saitama," she whispered to him.
"Hmm?" he asked while taking a spoonful of the fried ice cream.
"Inichi was thinking of a basic training dojo on our home grounds. Then when disciples get stronger, we set up an advanced one around Bane's area. What do you think on that?" she asked.
"Hmm. Maybe. Oh. Maybe we can do a training course for running and fitness around our property? I'm sure it's a good length already, and we can set up spots for other self-training areas when they get to those points," he mused.
"So…you're willing to take on disciples?" she grinned. Now he looked at her and lightly tickled her to get her laughing hard.
"We will see," he said with a light smile and kissed her passionately. He waved at Genos when the cyborg walked in.
"Master Saitama!" he said and was quick to hop over to see him. He did press a kiss to Kamiko's cheek on passing, though. That got several of the men in the restaurant to look over with sheer jealousy.
"I'm guessing your date went well?" Mitsumi smiled at him.
"Ah…yes. It did," Genos nodded. "We agreed to continue it."
"You gonna…get something fixed?" Zenchu asked from where he sat behind Saitama and Mitsumi.
"There is something in motion. I will leave it at that," Genos said with a small nod.
"Will it have a vibrating feature?" Zenchu had to ask now.
"Master Saitama?" Genos asked with a small glance.
"Oh. You need me to slap him?" Saitama grinned.
"No!" Zenchu hissed.
"Oh…" Mitsumi cringed and covered her face in her hands.
"Tacki!" Kamikaze said when she darted out of the back room in blue overalls, slip on shoes and a tank top. She was a foot shorter than him, but her attitude to always be everywhere at once was still there in full.
"I'm just checking to make sure all the lights are working!" she said.
"Tacki…come here," Kamikaze said on walking out of the back room now. Mitsumi now looked over and waved.
"Lady Mitsumi!" she beamed and darted over now to tackle hug her and Saitama. Kamikaze found himself laughing at it all now.
"Easy," Saitama said and shifted to let Mitsumi hug Tacki back.
"What were you doing?" Mitsumi asked.
"Oh. We were opening up some crates. Then I remembered I saw a light flicker and went to test the bulbs. Then I saw you," she blinked her light brown eyes. She had her hair done up in a fantail much like how her peacock tail was before. She had even made a small clip out of a tail feather to show what monster she was at first. She was every bit as flighty and bouncy as her prior persona from her monster days.
"Tacki, please come here? We have three more crates of supplies. You asked me to help you move them," Kamikaze said.
"I know. Okay," she nodded and was quick to jump away and dart back over to finish the job. "I'll have Orotsu make you a double-eel dish!"
"That works!" Kamikaze chuckled and waved at the couple before heading back to help with the crates.
"She really did become her personality," Saitama mused.
"She did," Mitsumi nodded. Then they both looked over when Sweet Mask walked in to inspect the place. On seeing Kamiko, he found himself pausing.
"I…don't know you," Sweet Mask said.
"But you do," Kamiko chuckled and gestured to the wall. "I got cured. As well as Tacki. Do you believe us now?"
"What?!" Sweet Mask gaped. Now the crowd hushed to see this and listen.
"Do you still want to kill us?" she asked with a small narrow of her deep blue eyes with a form of slight challenge.
"Kamiko?" Mitsumi said gently to calm the situation down. Saitama glanced over and made ready to bolt towards them if it got ugly.
"Kamiko, please don't," Inichi said and now hovered over her to keep things neutral. Genos was quick to move to her side and pull her away to help calm her down. He whispered softly to her to keep things calm. On seeing this, Saitama relaxed. Inichi has this. I'll bear witness.
"I'm sorry," Kamiko said softly with a frown. "It just…stung. A lot."
"I am sure," Genos said and let her cling to him. "It will be fine. He is an ally. He understands and sees the truth now. We also have Master Saitama here. Everything is fine now. Sweet Mask did not know the intensity of your need and want to become human. This proves it and he sees it."
"That he does. Do not let this grudge consume you," Inichi said softly.
"Inichi is right," Sweet Mask said lightly. "I see now that…you all definitely speak the truth. I will do what I can to help you revert back. The ones that still need it, that is."
"Good to know," Tsuruga said when he was ready to charge over to help protect the restaurant. He snorted and blinked his glowing red eyes to regard Sweet Mask in full now. He was standing outside the back room to watch over things. He saw the video camera footage from the small security room and was quick to make his way over to investigate. "We don't know what changed me or Fumio. We are unsure of Shenjou, too. Even Richoo. Orotsu was bitten by an unknown octopus. Kianna was bitten by a rabid wolf of some kind. We hope that Child Emperor can help us figure it out."
"Hmm…" Sweet Mask frowned. "Let me get some lunch and I'll go over some details. I actually reserved an hour. And the place looks…amazing! If you need any further furnishings, let me know."
"Did he say new furnishings?!" Tacki squealed and bounced out of the back room with Kamikaze chasing her down. She jumped over Tsuruga, and he found himself laughing and moving out of the way for Kamikaze to chase after her. She stopped in her tracks and turned to sheepishly blush at him now.
"We have two more crates to finish," Kamikaze sighed and grunted when she tackled him to get hugged tight. "I'm sure Sweet Mask needs to eat first. Then we will both sit down and talk to him. Calmly. Okay?"
"Am I…too much for you?" Tacki frowned. Sweet Mask looked at her and then at the photo list. His jaw dropped again.
"No. I said you were the only one that can keep me on my toes, eh?" he chuckled and chewed on the stick lightly. When he saw Bane chuckling from where he was sitting, Kamikaze snorted. "And you can shut up."
"I said nothing," Bane grinned lightly.
"Oh," Tacki said and quickly took the stick out of Kamikaze's mouth.
"Hey! Why did you-!" he started and got silenced when she planted a full kiss on his mouth. After that, she put the stick back in his mouth. That had Bane dying with laughter. Kamikaze was just stunned.
"Still keeping you on your toes?" Tacki asked with a small, cute grin.
"I think I need to box you into a crate," Kamikaze grinned at her gasp of shock. Mitsumi and Saitama were dying with laughter on each other now.
"No! Lady Mitsumiiii!" she cried out with despair to get Mitsumi laughing even harder with the rest of the room when Kamikaze carried her away.
"I can't…breathe…!" Mitsumi gasped and leaned into Saitama's form.
"I didn't think…I could laugh again…" Saitama admitted and gazed at Mitsumi now. He hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. "A rare thing now. I'm sure of that. I love you."
"I love you," she smiled and let him kiss her softly. "Oh! Our ice cream is melting!"
"Ah…" he blinked and was quick to finish off the dish with her. After that, the restaurant settled down. Sweet Mask was moved into the private section to get served lunch by Fumio. It was an hour of raffles, heroes eating with winning fans and simple relaxation after that. When Sweet Mask showed he had some time left to talk to Tacki and Kamikaze, they all sat in the privacy room to talk.
"When we got the chairs, they were on sale. A bit damaged, but I did what I could. So the chairs are not really matching up. We could use new chairs. Or I get the stuff to redo them. Maybe some better stuff for the booths, too," Tacki said while writing out a list. "The back wall is empty…"
"Make a stage," Inichi said when he floated in. "Lady Mitsumi gave a grand idea to have a performance every time the restaurant makes a particular profit in genuine customer orders and proceeds. And that means she will not perform just for the money given. That would seem…awkward and rude to her."
"Ah. Yes. I can agree," Sweet Mask nodded.
"Also, it was now heavily discussed to build a beginner's dojo for Mr. Saitama on his lands. A more advanced one can be done with Bane's lands. As in, Silver Fang, to you," Inichi said.
"Oh? Will he train disciples?" Sweet Mask mused.
"He was…leaning towards it. He is still quite unsure. Ah. Miss Fubuki wishes to speak with me. I shall return," Inichi nodded and moved to where Fubuki was sitting at a window. He clasped hands with her and sighed.
"Quite the show?" she frowned.
"Kamiko is still upset with Sweet Mask. He did want to kill her at one point. With all here. When the restaurant closes, I am unsure of the plans," Inichi thought. He looked at Mitsumi and chuckled at her mental response. "Ah. She wishes another night market venue."
"I wonder if that guy will be there…" Fubuki mused. Inichi cracked a grin and laughed at who she was talking about.
"Doubtful, but we will never know," he seemed to shrug.
"Will you eat with me?" she asked.
"I can," he nodded and settled to float alongside her. Then he turned his gaze to Death Gatling when he walked in to glare around. When he saw Kamiko, he seemed to pause in shock.
"Welcome to Neutral Grounds. If you are a hero, please state your name, class and rank," Kamiko said lightly.
"Death Gatling. Class A and rank 8," he said. She pulled up the Hero Academy roster and found him easily on the main computer.
"Very good. You can find a seat along the window. If you would like to join a small raffle for a fan to eat with you, please consult with me to take your photo and add it to the wall of heroes," she nodded. "Order what you like. Heroes eat for free here as agreed by the Hero Association. The raffles done help with the supplies to feed you all."
"Okay…" he muttered and then he paused at the monster wall. Now he looked at her with shock. "You…were…?"
"I was. I got cured yesterday. We wanted to become human. We told the truth," she nodded. When Genos walked up to put an arm around her and glare mildly, Death Gatling could only pause with surprise.
"Please find your seat and enjoy your meal," Genos nodded. He pressed a kiss to Kamiko's cheek and moved to sit down near her again.
"I see why you sit there now," she chuckled.
"Indeed. Also…a remedy will be done. Two days," he said.
"Oh?" she grinned a touch wickedly at him. "Shall I say that I can't wait?"
"Possibly," he shrugged. "I did have an…intricate question to ask, though."
"What is that?" she asked. He stood back up to stand behind her. Then he cupped his hand over her ear and softly whispered. Inichi found himself cringing and slapping a hand over his mouth to keep from laughing outright. Now she looked at Genos with shock. "Are you serious?! I mean…why?!"
"Because…" Genos said and whispered again. She found herself blushing intensely hard, and Inichi couldn't help but hear the mental thoughts.
"Inichi?" Fubuki frowned.
"No! I can't right now!" the blue monster seemed to fight out the words to say. "Just…keep quiet…"
Fubuki nodded and found herself shoving her face in her coat to keep from laughing hard at what he mentally told her.
"Genos…I have…no idea how to do that…" Kamiko managed to gasp out.
"I could do it. With your consent, of course," Genos nodded.
"But…why?!" she finally had to ask.
"I want to make sure everything will work well," he shrugged.
"Okay. Why is Kamiko looking like a beet vegetable?" Zenchu mused at the scene. Then he fell out of his chair dying with laughter from what Inichi mentally told him. "That…is AWESOME!"
"Why are you dying?" Saitama asked. Then Inichi popped into his head to tell him. He went completely blank-faced and looked at Mitsumi. "Genos is gross. I didn't know that about him."
"Why is that?" Mitsumi asked. Now Saitama pulled her close to whisper. "No! He wants to make sure…he's just right for…but…how would that be possible?! The only way is if he uses his hands, but…oh…"
Now she was pressing into him to keep her fits of laughter down. That was when Saitama thought about something that almost made Inichi fall into his own fits of intense laughter. "Huh. I never thought of using my hands yet…"
"Ah…no…?!" Mitsumi seemed to squeak out.
"I'm sure I'd have to be gentle," he mused and Zenchu died laughing again.
"Stop it!" Mitsumi begged from her fits of laughter and lightly pounded on his chest to get him looking at her questionably.
"We'll try it later," Saitama said neutrally with a nod to get her cringing with absolute shock of the thought. All he did was hold her blushing form close to let her snuggle into him to hide her tears of laughter. "You need to breathe. Are you okay? Seriously. You're starting to scare me."
"No…not okay…" she panted out a bit and felt his hand gently run up and down over her back to calm her.
"Calm down. Okay? We'll test some things later," he shrugged and looked at her curiously when she broke down into another fit of blushing laughter again. "Stop that! Breathe, Mitsumi!"
"I can't…!" she gasped. "It's too…funny!"
"Huh?" Saitama blinked. Then he paused at what Inichi managed to tell him. "Oh. Huh. Okay. Um…we'll talk later."
"Okay…" she nodded weakly. He calmed her down again, and glanced up at the sight of Macho Pete walking in.
"I have arrived! The newest hero of the Hero Association! I heard the food was fantastic here!" he gloated. Then he paused at the sight of Kamiko. "Well, hello there! Maybe after I eat…we can take a little stroll…?"
"No. I'm dating an S class hero. Demon Cyborg," Kamiko smiled and Genos gave a glowing eyed glare from still standing next to her.
"Are you sure you are a hero of the association? I'm not finding you in any of the rosters," Genos said on scanning him.
"Oh, no…it's him…from the night market…" Mitsumi frowned. Saitama looked at her and then at him. "There is no way he's a hero…"
"He definitely is not," Inichi nodded.
"The name is Macho Pete. I am a hero of love. Strength building! And intense popularity!" the body builder said.
"I wonder if Puri-Puri Prisoner would be interested in him," Bane mused. That got Inichi cracking up with more laughter.
"I'm sorry, but I do not see you on the roster in the Hero Association listing. If you are not on the roster, then you are a paying customer," Kamiko said with a small smile. "You may sit down and order normally."
"Oh, come on," Macho Pete moped. At the sight of Fumio moving around to take orders, he gasped. "A monster! I'll kill it now!"
Then he paused at the fan blades that suddenly appeared half an inch away from his face. Mitsumi was standing in front of him now. She was furious.
"You will do no such thing…" she hissed out slowly. "He is family. His picture is on the wall to show he has no intent of attacking. If you are really part of the association, then you would know this. You are an impostor."
"Like she said," Saitama said and moved to stand next to her. Tsuruga was soon back out into the main room to toss his horns lightly and snort. Sweet Mask was now alerted by Inichi and was quick to show up in the main room. He glared at the false hero and shook his head.
"You need to leave," Sweet Mask said calmly.
"Hey! I know you! You hurt my hand! You attacked me!" Pete said to Saitama. "Did you know that he hurt me?!"
"No. He won a prize. You didn't. Get over yourself," Inichi sighed. "Sweet Mask, was he someone who wrote a script for you? He looks the type."
"I don't even think he knows how to read," Sweet Mask said with an airy hand gesture. That got Inichi cracking a grin and shivering with laughter. The rest of the room was now coughing with laughter at that. Fubuki cringed with laughter at everything now, but she was ready to help defend the restaurant.
"I know how to read!" Pete argued.
"Well, you have until the count of three before I have you escorted out of here," Saitama said and held up his hand. Mitsumi still had her fan blades out and ready to dice if any other movements were made. "One…"
"Oh, come on! Fine! What do I have to do to be a hero?" Pete asked.
"Fight me for five minutes," Zenchu said and appeared in front of him. "You tried to attack my brother. Lady Mitsumi is ready to turn you into shish kabobs. If you decline my offer, then…you deal with Sweet Mask."
"Indeed," Sweet Mask nodded.
"Let me go!" Tacki said when Kamikaze appeared holding her tight to him. "He tried to attack Fumio! He needs to get slapped!"
"The kid is fine, okay?" Kamikaze muttered. Fumio was quick to dart behind Tsuruga now. "See?"
"Kamikaze…can you hurt him, then?" Tacki asked.
"Nah. I think Mitsumi plans to give him some new tattoos," he grinned and kissed her cheek. "Just chill with me."
She frowned at him and shook her head before hugging him. "This…always happened. You know?"
"I know. I made that mistake, too. A bad comment on my part," Kamikaze admitted. "I know better now."
"Okay…" she sighed.
"Leave," Mitsumi said to Pete now. "I will not have you step another foot into my restaurant."
"Ah…but…!" Pete started. Then he looked at Saitama. "I'll be back for you! And for her! I swear this!"
"Um…okay. Can you leave now?" Saitama asked and gently helped Mitsumi close up the fans. He pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I don't want you to piss off my fiancée anymore. She's actually ready to hurt you."
"Hurt me? Sure! With her loving touch!" Pete gloated. Then he paused at the fan blades that suddenly flicked out without warning. A second later, his clothing simply fell off his body leaving him stark naked. He squealed and quickly tried to cover himself up. Kamiko's jaw dropped, and Genos was quick to pull her into his chest to shield her from the view. Even Tacki was freaked out, but Kamikaze was dying with laughter. Zenchu was covering his face in his hand. Everyone else was now highly disturbed, and Sweet Mask was just in shock.
"We have kids here! Really?!" King grimaced and let Kianna snuggle into him to hide her face.
"Ew. Go. Please," Saitama grimaced and hid his face into Mitsumi's shoulder. Then he muttered, "Did you even think to leave his underwear on?!"
"He wasn't wearing any…" Mitsumi cringed.
"EH! Ew! That's just…ugh! Get out!" Saitama finally started to snap at it. Inichi was quick to help. This also included the destroyed clothing.
"I'll send him to City K. It's quite busy right now…" Inichi mused. "Or should I send him to where the S class hero is in that plaza at City Q? Watchdog?"
"Hmm. Yes. Send him there," Sweet Mask nodded.
"Of course," Inichi said and went silent to focus on it.
"I'll head out now and put in a notice about…Macho Pete. Disgraceful…" Sweet Mask muttered and was quick to do just that.
"I think I'm ready to go home," Saitama sighed and hugged Mitsumi to him.
"Yeah. I am, too," she smiled and let him kiss her softly before scooping her up in his arms. "Night market?"
"Yes. Date night," he grinned softly and started to carry her out.
"Hey!" Suiryu said from the kitchen.
"Oh. I have a list of things for you to start on the moment you're ready. Here," Saitama said and gave him the paper. "Once you start…you CAN'T stop. Got it?"
"Ah…oh…um…okay," Suiryu nodded. "I'll start this right after work."
"Good. I'm heading out," Saitama nodded and carried her out right after.
"Can we go with you tonight?" Tacki asked.
"Absolutely!" Mitsumi giggled and waved at her family before finally being carried out the door and back home to rest. Zenchu was quick to follow them, and he knew that Inichi would be able to keep things under control from there.
