Big Business, Big Visit Part One

A/N – Quite the party hey. I hope there were enough surprises for you. I am also enjoying the fact that Lilly is happy and has found a positive partner. Some feel she had too many chances but I for one never think there are too many. The summer is in full swing and the business is out of control, growing by leaps and bounds. But more importantly, some pretty important people are coming to visit. Maddie of course is the most excited but to the entire staff is pumped and ready to roll out the red carpet. Thanks for the added reviews and answers to my questions. I have received a lot of great ideas that I will be incorporated into my story so thanks for that.

Due to the explosion in business Lisa called and emergency Board meeting also inviting Max. The influx in business due to the national recognition of Amy and Ty's college program, their University clinical path, troubled youth program and just the overall word of mouth was moving the entire business forward at a rapid rate. Although most of the attention was with Heartland and The Equine Center, Fairfield was also experiencing growth as well. As a bonus, Maggie's and the Dude Ranch were impacted by this and Sott's more specialized vet clinic was beginning to gain a reputation of the place to go in Hudson and the surrounding areas. The Board discussed several topics. First the was a review of all of the now completed work at several locations, a financial update from Lou and the need to look at both the University Clinical program and the venture with troubled youth. Both the University and Clint's team were overwhelmed with request. After a lengthy discussion, the decided to add 6 additional students from the university sessions as the new group was starting for the summer With the youth program it was decided to engage with the Calgary office for troubled juveniles with the intent to increase that as well. Over the summer the extra people could offset some of the expected growth.

Amy, Georgie, Katie, Lyndy and the other horse healers were busier than ever. The vet team led by Ty and Scott were struggling to keep up. The decision was made to bring more vet techs into play to handle the duties they could and allowing the vets to support where they were needed. The bunk house at heartland had 16 full time ranch hand residents. Jenn Stillman was still managing the Dude Ranch and Fairfield room but also began helping Caleb with the bunkhouse. The ranch hands were self-sufficient having a full kitchen. The company provided basic food items but the ranch hands were able to add their own. Caleb understood the ranch hand mentality and although gatherings were Ok there were limits, especially with guest "staying over." Between Clay and him they kept an eye on things. Jack was around to so that was that too. The improvements at Heartland, the vet clinic and the Miracle Ranch were working well in handling the additional demand. The Board felt that for now the facilities were able to handle future needs.

Amy, Georgie and Lyndy continually worked with the other Horse healer team. Katie had reached a high level of skill after years of gleaning knowledge from her Aunt and sister. And there was the Marion Fleming genes. Lyndy, Wyatt, one of the ranch hands as well a one of Clint's kids were all doing well and most of all were committed. Lyndy continued to show the most promise as Amy and Georgie continued to challenge her. One day Amy was watching her and Ty swooped in behind her giving her a hug. But he stopped immediately as he watched his daughter. Amy could tell that he was mesmerized by her and whispered, "Look familiar?" He choked out a response, "My god Amy it's you. She looks just like you did the first time I watched you with Spartan. It's just uncanny how much she acts and looks like you." Tears began to form in his eyes as he leaned into his wife's shoulder. "Come on you big marshmallow we need to leave her be. But I will say I am kind of liking your softer side. Who knows later we may "talk" about it." Kissing his cheek she smiled as they walked into the barn office arm in arm to a smiling JT, Maddie and Gwen

"Ok, what's up you three. You are way too smiley." Amy asked motherly. Maddie hesitantly spoke. "Well Gwen and I were wondering. During the day sometimes JT wants to ride and everyone is always so busy. I am a good rider and so is Gwen so could we take him out for short rides. He carries himself on Blue Boy well, they are a good team, so what do you think." Amy and Ty looked at each other trying to hold back their chuckles. Ty spoke first, "Well Madde and Gwen it is a big responsibility, JT is not even three yet, do you really think you both can handle the responsibility." Surprisingly Gwen spoke up, "Mr. And Mrs. Borden, we can do it. And JT really wants us to take him." JT hugged her, "Please Mommy and Daddy." Amy smiled and hugged them all, "Of course you can and thanks for offering to do it. But, whenever you do, we will talk about where you want to go, there will be some limits." "Well we wanted to ride to Heartland and surprise GG, will that work?" Maddie asked. "Sure just let us know when you plan to go," Amy smiled. Gwen blurted out, "We are already tacked up." Amy and Ty both huffed, "Madelene Louise Borden." The kids smiled, kissed their parents and headed to the barn to get their horses. Amy frowned as they left leaning into Ty, "This whole kids growing up thing kind of sucks."

As business was continuing to hum along, the family and for that matter everyone was getting ready for the Prime Minister and his family's visit. Everyone was excited about this opportunity to better promote the company and what it has to offer. Clint and his team were excited to showcase their alignment with the company. They had been preparing to share the results of their combined efforts and hoped that the PM would be impressed. The entire family was planning to arrive on Friday, have fun over the weekend and the PM and some of his staff would look at the program until mid-week. His wife, MaryAnne and the kids would hang with th family and head back home early Wednesday. The PM was headed to Europe for a Global Warming Conference in Paris. Amy and the girls were busy planning activities and Ty, Clay and Katie were working with Clint on the schedule for the PM and has staff who were looking over the program. The entire group was 8 people so they made and effort to make sure they saw each piece of the program in smaller groups of 4. There would be the Hospitality, Equine and Veterinary session each a half day in length. They would have a farewell brunch on Wednesday for everyone at the Fairfield meeting room. Planning was done, lodging taken care of and the food coordinated. At dinner just before they arrived a tired Maddie said to the family, "This is going to be awesome."

At Dinner Wednesday night Amy's phone rang. Generally she lets it go but caller ID looked interesting. She picked it up as the family looked on. After saying hello her look went from questioning to utter surprise. "Ok, MaryAnne we will look forward to seeing you and the kids in the morning." As soon as she hung up Maddie screamed, "Tomorrow?" "Yes that was the PM's wife and the kids are so excited to come visit they are coming a day early, so we have a lot to do in the morning," Amy said jokingly. Addie said, "We have so much to do, what time are they arriving?" "Well they land around 10 and what to go to Maggie's for lunch so I will text Lou and have a table for all of us ready. I also have to let her know that the PM's security team will be by before to prep the place." She laughed, "I'm sure that will make her day. The PM's security team had been there for a couple of days looking over all the facilities and reviewing what they would be doing. It was a little out of the norm for the team but all was going well. Lyndy spoke up, "We have to let Jenn know to that they will be here. We need to make a list." The family sat and made a list of things that needed to be done before they group arrived. Ty sat back in awe of his amazing wife and kids. He leaned over to Amy placing his hand on the small of her back, "You guys are amazing." Amy smiled and whispered in his ear, "We will see how amazing shortly."

Well needless to say as they went to see each child, except for JT who slept like a log, there was a lot of excitement and questions. Amy and Ty patiently talked with each of their daughters reminding them of the big day tomorrow and they needed their sleep. Amy couldn't wait to get to their room after their whispers at dinner. She pulled Ty into the room, closing the door and locking it. She pushed Ty against the door locking lips with her man. Ty was startled but really happy that his wife was so playful. "What is up with you there horsey girl" In a hush, she whispered in his neck, "Ty." That's all she needed to say as their kiss increased in intensity and love. They always had 'fit" as one. When they first became intimate years ago Amy would marvel how their bodies melded together. Ty picked his wife up and gently carried her to their bed. The slowly undressed each other reveling in each other's touch. Amy shivered, not because of the cold but because of the fact that their naked bodies were intertwined. She always marveled of how Ty made her feel. With him it was always about her needs first and she loved him for that. She held him tightly as their love was shared. There were no need for words as the moans they share spoke volumes. As usual Ty pleasured her moving from her lips to her soft breast and down to her most intimate place. As she reached her climax, again, she moved to his lips. Ty was still the best kisser ever and she relished each one of them. She moved delicately to his neck and chest then straddling him and grabbing his manhood. As she lowered onto him the sparks flew as always. Their movements were as one and together they achieved the apex of their love. As they settled down capturing their mutual breaths, Ty smiled. Amy looked at him, "Ty, you seem to be in deep thought, are you excited about our visitors." He took a deep breath, "Amy every time we make love it feels like the first time. You are the most amazing partner and lover and every day I love you more and more." He began to mist up, "Amy I love you more today than yesterday and will love you more each day we are together." No more words were said as they blissfully fell asleep. They were Amy and Ty, they both knew their love was forever.

Amy and Ty were hoping for a little extra time in the morning but promptly at 7am several voices were heard outside the door followed by a loud knock. Maddie spoke first, "Come on you guys get up we have a lot to do." Addie added, "No sleeping in today we have to get going." Finally Annie said, "JT and Lyndy are waiting downstairs and breakfast is ready. Chop, chop." Amy rolled over to her naked husband, "Why did I say I liked them." 20 minutes later Amy and Ty, dressed for the day joined their kids for breakfast. It was silent at fist until JT blurted out, "Why is everyone so quiet?" Ty spoke up, "Well it seems your sisters are mad because we weren't here earlier. I guess that is why we are getting the silent treatment." He looked at his sisters with a mad look, "You guys need to be nice, mom and dad are the best." Everyone broke into laughter and giggles. Amy spoke, "Ok we leave in an hour for the airport. Even though they have a driver and car I think they will be happy if we meet them. I have talked to security and they are good." They family waited patiently outside security in a private part of the airport. The Canadian Government plane taxied up and MaryAnne, the kids and several staff members exited. Ty noticed that a couple of SUVs pulled up with government decals on them. As they group walked up the crazy Borden's screams and hollers filled the room. They kids all hugged an introduced each other. MaryAnne walked to Amy hugging her and then Ty. "I can't tell you how good it is to see you again. Those kids over there are going to have a blast, I can tell it already. Its all they have been talking about." Amy laughed, "Trust me I know, they were banging our door at 7:00am" Ty interrupted, "Well we better get to Maggie's, Lou texted and the word is out. She has banned any news people from the place, in fact she has closed the place down just for us. She said your entire group should come as well." MaryAnne yelled over to her kids, "Kids lets go to Maggie's."

After dodging the press they walked in as Lou approached the group bubbly and excited. Amy had warned MaryAnne ahead of time and prepared for the hug, which came with earnest. She took the time to meet each of the kids and blushed, "I kind of asked some other people," as Jack, Lisa, Tim, Casey, Scott, Georgie, Steven holding the twins, Katie and Clay waved hello. Lyndy was really excited when she saw Wyatt and went to hug him sneaking a kiss. Haley, the oldest Trudeau looked over, whispering to Amy, "So that is the boy? And you are Ok with the public hug and kiss" "Yes they are quite the pair and we trust the both of them, Wyatt has become a very important part of the family." She looked at her mother, "Mom are you taking notes." She laughed hugging her oldest. Lunch was awesome as the group enjoyed anything from the menu. MaryAnn and Haley loved the vegetarian chili. Elana, the second oldest child, noticed that Amy and Ty were sharing a Waffle Deluxe, chips and a larch chocolate shake. She leaned over to Maddie. "What's up with the sharing thing?" She answered, don't get me started. Like they have shared the same thing here like forever. It is part of their weird bond thing, trust me you will see it the entire time they are here." She answered, I think it is cute, I hope I find someone like that. And you dad is kind of hot and your mom, she is beautiful." Annie and Addie groaned out loud, "Its starting already." Georgie added, "Good lord the PM's family have only been here for an hour or so and they have already been Ty and Amyed." Amy and Ty looked over at them and for spite kissed each other.

After lunch, Amy, Ty and the Borden kids gave the family a tour of the vet clinic, Heartland, The Dude Ranch and the Miracle Ranch. Their last stop was Fairfield since the family would be staying there. The Trudeau children were amazed at everything they saw. The twins, Emmie and Ezzie were overwhelmed as Ezzie commented, "I cant believe you guys live here. It's like a dream." Maddie, who was a year older than them spoke up, "I won't lie it is great but it is a lot of work to. Each of us have chores, except JT, and we all have to take care of our own horses. Lyndy actually works on horses to and Annie, Addie and I are show jumpers and compete every few weeks." Brad, the Trudeau's third child laughed. That kind of sounds like fun work," smiling at Annie. He was a couple of years younger than Lyndy and had caught Annie's eye a couple of times. Little Bart who was in his mother's arms giggled at his only brother. JT laughed to and asked if they could go play with Dax and Brey. After the Trudeaus got settled in their rooms, they all headed over to Heartland for an Albertan BBQ with all the fixings.

The entire family was there along with the Stillman's, O'Dell's, Max, Lilly, Will and his family along with Ellie and her fiancé. Several of the staff, who were not working showed up as well. MaryAnne was sitting with Jack, Lisa and Lou. "Jack, you have an amazing family, they have treated us like we belong here too. So many times when we go to events I feel so bad for the kids. They are hounded by the press and always look uncomfortable. Look at them, I may not be able to get them to leave." Jack laughed but seriously answered her, "Well thank you MaryAnne, your kids are great. You know I recently had a little health thing." Lou solemnly interrupted, "Grandpa, you had cancer." MaryAnne's eyes widened and Jack continued. "Well yes I did but my point is that these people you see are the reason I fought so hard to beat it. Little Maddie was like a drill sergeant making sure my every need was taken care of. Lyndy, Katie and Georgie were always there, even when I was struggling. Without them I may have not have beat this. But I have." MaryAnne smiled with a tear in her eye. "Jack that is amazing and just in the short time I see it." Before she could continue JT, Dax, Brey, Ben, Billy, and little Bart came running up to him. JT spoke up, "GG can you take us to the pond tomorrow to fish. Bart really wants to." He laughed, "Well guys I will tell you what, how about I get Max and Grandpa Tim and we go up to the Fishing Cabin for the day, Will that work." The all jumped for joy, hugged him and ran off to play. MaryAnne whispered, "Jack you don't have to say anything else."

The Prime Minister arrived early in the morning as he was at a meeting in Vancouver. Everyone met up at Heartland and dispersed. The Fishing Cabin group headed out. The PMs son Brad went to stating how he loved to fish. The PM was a fisherman as well and was tempted but decided to hang with his wife and girls. The plan for today was a family trail ride, and for the family to witness some riding exhibitions in the Miracle Ranch arena. Georgie, Kate and Lyndy showed them some jumping rounds, Georgie also did some trick riding, Casey and Addie did some barrel racing and Amy put on a liberty and reigning show. The Trudeaus were amazed at the skill but the liberty work Amy did took their breath away. The PM sat next to Ty during her session and whispered to him, "Ty Amy is amazing, I don't think I have ever seen anything so beautiful." Ty smiled, Amy and her horse Spartan were the first two to do it. He passed a while back and now Blaze has taken up the skill. When Amy was starting to bond with Blaze she was working with the both of them together. One day I was watching and it was like Spartan gave Amy his approval to bond with Blaze. I was breathless as I watched the three of them." He took a deep breath to gather his thoughts. "Many years ago I built a jumping course for Amy so she could practice with Spartan. He wouldn't get in a trailer so she had no place to go. Justin, I fell in love with Amy the first time I saw her working with Spartan and have loved her ever since." The PM smiled and put his arm on Ty's shoulder, "We are both definitely very lucky men."

At dinner at the Miracle Ranch that night it was just the Borden's and Trudeau's. Stories were shared about the fishing trip, train ride and all of the horsemanship they witnessed. Each one of them had a favorite, Haley and Elana were overwhelmed watching an Olympic champion jump and do trick riding, Brad really liked the barrel racing session, the twins loved the trail ride and of course JT and Bart talked about fishing lures. The PM and his wife couldn't stop talking about how amazing Amy's reigning and liberty exhibition were. As the four of them sat in the lounge watching the kids clean up the PM spoke, "Amy Ty told me the story of when he first fell in love with you. He talked about Spartan, is that the same horse on the company logo?" Amy drew a breath, "Yes that is my Spartan, he was the horse my mom and I rescued the night she died. He is a close second to this one here when it comes to the loves of my life. He was with me through all the good and bad times. I was told once by a friend and renowned horse trainer that a bond with a horse is strong because a horse never judges you, they just love you." She leaned into Ty, "Losing him was hard but he was old and had a great life. He left us on his own terms but is a part of Ty and I forever." The four of them sat quiet for a moment enjoying the moment. Wyatt, Lyndy and Haley walked into the room. Lyndy spoke up, "Mom if it is Ok the little guys want to go see all the horses even the client ones, so can we take them out to." Amy said, "Sure but watch them around the horses that are still causing some problems, we don't want anyone to get hurt. " I know mom, I will watch them." They all laughed as they headed out. Justin looked over to his wife, "Are we ever going to get them to go home." The three of them laughed.

The next day the parents decided to let the kids do what they wanted to do. It seemed they had grouped up so the felt it would be the best plan. The parents went on a pretty long trail ride, had lunch at Maggie's, where a buzz of people looked on and spent the afternoon getting into a more detailed look at what Amy and Ty did. The PM was really interested in the surgical part of business and marveled as Scott and Ty went through some of the innovated procedures they had developed. They also had a late afternoon meeting with Clint's team to talk through the next few days for the PM and his team. MaryAnne also asked to hang with them as well off and on while keeping any eye on the kids. Dinner that night was at Fairfield, The entire Board, family, Clint and his team as well as the current group of kids working there attended. It would be a good chance for them to mee the PM and his family. Some of the "graduates of the program attended as well. During a conversation with the PM, Clint, Ty and Amy, the young man who had been working on the horse healing side of the business, Rusty spoke up. "Mr. Prime Minister, can I say something. As I look around I see family and people who care for each other. Until I was selected to be a part of this program, I never knew what family was. These folks accepted me and helped me decide what I wanted to do. Amy and Georgie have seen my passion for horses and have guide me as I learn horse healing skills. This program and these people are amazing." The PM smiled and confirmed, Well son, that is why I am here, to witness it for myself. I have brough some key members of my team to witness it as well. And you know what I would love to watch you work with a horse, Amy can that be arranged." She smiled, "Absolutely, Rusty, no pressure."

Everyone left looking forward to the next few days. The Borden and Trudeau were already plotting to extend their stay. During the sessions the kids would hang with the Borden Children and Wyatt, who had kind of bonded with Brad. He Trudeau's laid in bed talking about their day and about the next few days looking over the troubled youth program. MaryAnne spike, "Jus, you need to do something to help make sure this program stays in tack and grows. If it is amazing as this family you need to." He smiled as his wife snuggled into his shoulder, rubbing his chest." He laughed, "You are taking the worked out of mt mouth. I have already talked to my Youth Development staff who will be here. Our government will promote and support what they do for sure. She smiled as she fell asleep in his arms. A similar conversation was happening with Amy and Ty. They talked softly about the day and the next few. Amy smiled, "I am so happy right not. It was so cool seeing the kids bond, it was like they have known each other forever. The next few days will be fun and I hope it all goes well with the PM and his team." Ty rolled over facing his wife, "Amy have I told you how much I love you and how I love working together with you?' She giggled, "Well not since last night I think." They looked at each other's eyes with only their love. I would be a little bit before they fell asleep.
