Chapter Ninety-Two
P.E.I.
Special Notice
The Borden Family Legacy Story Update - Greetings dedicated fans and readers. As many of you may or may not know Chapter 61 was inadvertently deleted after I found chapter 60 and 61 duplicated. When I reposted it and it landed after Chapter 91, obviously having the chapters out of line. After attempts to rectify myself, I sent a request into Fanfiction Technical Support. They have not responded so I have had to delete every chapter after 60 and repost them to keep the sequential order intact. I need to ensure the continuity of the story remains in place so if you see anything out of whack for a while that is the reason. Once completed the alignment will be corrected.
A bonus is that while I have been waiting to correct the issue, I have completed 2 more chapters! Chapters 92 and 93 will be added after I complete the correction. And I think you will love them. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your patience and support. Continue to let me know what you think about my story and I guarantee that I have a lot more to say about the Bordens.
A/N – Another epic famliy wedding is in the books. I am having fun with the Maddie/Lou thing. I won't lie but sometimes in the series Lou is a bit much for me but for my story I hope that I have calmed her down a bit. From personal experience I really enjoy Maddie as well as Gwen and Sylvia attaching to the Master's kids. More to come on that. Well summer is half over and it is time for the two big trips. For the next couple of chapters it will be almost all Borden so I hope you are ready for that. In the past some have asked me to downplay the relationship with the Trudeaus but as I will continue to say that this is fiction and I feel strongly that this bond is essential to the growth of my characters. This should be fun and I hope you agree. Enjoy!
It had been a little over a week since the wedding and the entire family including the newlyweds were in the summer groove. The only thing different was that they would be caught from time to time cuddling and making out. They were gaining a reputation as Amy and Ty Junior. The breakfast chatter at the Borden's was around two things, Lyndy's Goddard School Program they held for a local charity and the kid's trip to Prince Edward Island with the Trudeaus. They were leaving the upcoming Sunday but prep had begun already. Luckily, Wyatt decided to go which made Amy and Ty at ease. They were a little concerned about JT but with Wyatt there they knew he would be Ok. Lyndy's program the day before was amazing. The Heartland Equestrian Experience board decided to be a sponsor and each of the families made donations. The fundraiser was for a local youth crisis center in Calgary that Goddard was linked to. Lyndy performed in three of the dances, two with groups and one with two other girl where each had solo parts. Of course the entire family was there and were awestruck with her progress and how amazing she looked. During the dance that included her solo, Amy and Ty glanced at Wyatt with JT in his lap, who was beaming with a slight tear in his eye. He glance over to them and mouthed, "She is amazing.." They smiled in agreement as they saw their little boy mesmerized as well. They held each other's hands tightly as they watched their daughter glide effortlessly through her performances. As usual the family applauded loudly after every dance and as final bows were happening Wyatt and her four siblings brought her roses, which gained the attention of the audience. There was a reception afterwards that everyone was invited to so they got to meet some of the other dancers and their families. Several of the instructors came over to Amy and Ty and mentioned how good Lyndy was doing and how wonderful dancer she was. It was a little different world for the country folks but both Amy and Ty really liked the environment especially since they had never seen their daughter, who was clinging to Wyatt, smile so much. Amy leaned into Ty and whispered, "Who would have thought our daughter would be such a great dancer and in such a prolific program like Goddard. I hated dance class but look at her, she fits in with all of her fellow students. I want her to continue even though I also want her to follow in the family's legacy. Do you think she can do both?" Ty smiled and hugged her around the waist, "Amy, Lyndy is the best of you, your mom and your grandma. She can do anything."
Ty and Amy were really excited for the kids and knew they would have great week with the Trudeaus. But secretly they were even more excited about their week alone. They loved their kids but the thought of 7 days alone was overwhelming for them. The plan was to leave early Monday for High River. Joanna had their cabin all ready and the plan was to, hike, fish, ride horses and just be together until Friday. That would give them a day to get the kids off and then be there when they returned. They could barely contain themselves and as the day approached they seemed even more touchy feely with each other. After dinner one night the girls went to do night check as Ty, Wyatt and JT watched the football game. Amy had to run over to Heartland so the four sisters headed over. Lyndy burst out, "I am really excited about seeing the Trudeaus and going to Prince Edward Island. I wonder what their family compound is like. Haley says it is awesome and has everything we need to have fun. They have horses, trails, the beach, fishing, an amusement park and all sorts of fun things to do. She said the compound has several houses on it but the main house is gigantic." Annie added, "I can't wait either, Elana says her grandparents and cousin's family will be there to. Seems the family spends a lot of time there during the summer and her grandparents live there year-round." Addie and Maddie smiled in agreement but Maddie spoke up about everyone was thinking. "Come on guys, I am going to miss mom and dad but have you seen them lately. They are always whispering and smiling at each other. I know they won't tell us where they are going but I think it is High River, you know the place where they saved those horses and got back together after the stupid Prince thing. I think it is so romantic and I hope they have fun." Addie laughed, "Really Mads you hope. Are you kidding me, they are going to have a blast but I don't want to think about all the mushy stuff, I mean they are our parents, Yuck!" Lyndy smile warmly, "Well I love that they are so close, look at how many of our friends have parents that don't get alone and are divorced. And like Wyatt, whose parents are gone. We are lucky to live in a house where are parents adore each other and love us all completely." The girls all agreed as they continued feeding the horses. Maddie finally spoke, "Lyndy you are right, mom and dad are amazing but just think, you and Wyatt for a week without Dad to hassle you. You guys can make out and stuff." The twins and Maddie giggled as Lyndy turned a deep shade of red. She attacked them, tickling their sides. They were interrupted when Amy walked ion on them. "Girls, what's going on, doesn't seem like there is a night check happening?" Maddie was the first to compose herself. "Sorry mom we were just giving Lyndy some trouble since she is so in love…" Amy smiled but with a motherly voice said, "Well then, Lyndy lets go inside to see what the boys are doing, the rest of you can finish." Before they could protest she grabbed Lyndy's hand and headed to the house. She whispered in her ear, "It's awesome being in love isn't it?" Lyndy smiled and put her arm around her mom's waist, "Yes it is."
It was the day before the kids were leaving and Amy and Ty were busy helping them pack. They were all flying commercial through Montreal and then to Charlottetown Airport on the Island. They had talked to the airline about the kids traveling alone and even though Wyatt and Lyndy were 15 and responsible they still would have help, especially changing planes in Montreal. Luckily, they would be flying back with Justn and his staff on the PM's jet as he had a meeting in Vancouver. They would stop off in Calgary to drop the Borden's off. They each had a medium sized bag and a backpack to carry on, except JT. Amy worked with the girls which was a struggle deciding what to take. Ty laughed when he walked in their rooms as he helped Wyatt and JT who were done in 20 minutes. "You girls are crazy, us boys are done already." They all stuck their tongues out at the boys as they headed over to the barn. Addie barked, "Well we need to have clothes for all of the different things we are going to do. You stupid boys need like jeans and t-shirts." Wyatt smiled, "Yes but we have different types for diffident things. And JT are going to be styling to sure." He high fived JT and Ty as they left. Maddie complained, "No offence but boys are dumb. I don't know how you guys put up with yours." The girls and Amy giggled as they worked to get their clothes sorted. At dinner they talked about the trip as all the bags were packed and ready to go. After Amy and Ty gave them each an envelope with cash. Amy spoke first, "Now I know you are guest of the Trudeaus but we are giving you some spending money as well. Now Wyatt and Lyndy have a little more because they have JT's as well and they are older. You don't have to spend it all but if you see something you like, withing reason you can get it. Maddie, Annie and Addie, make sure Lyndy knows before you buy something so it is Ok with her. She is the boss and what she says goes. And you little man, Wyatt is your boss so do what he says." Ty continued, "Now we know you already understand this but be respectful of Mr. and Mrs. Trudeau and his parents. Mind them and don't complain and thank them, a lot. This is going to be a really fun trip for you guys so don't mess it up." They all laughed but couldn't help to notice that Amy seemed distracted. Lyndy asked, Mom are you Ok?" She leaned into Ty, "Yes but I am really going to miss you guys and dad and I love you all so much." As tears came to her eyes Maddie interrupted the sadness, "Mom and dad we will miss you to but come on, one week alone and going to Pike River, alone. I think you will be fine." Amy blushed as the entire family hugged and got ready for bed. It would be an early and chaotic morning.
Amy and Ty made the rounds and spent a little more time with each of them especially Lyndy and Wyatt. Amy spoke to them, "Now you guys have fun but keep an eye on your younger siblings. But make sure you have some time for just the two of you but not too much fun." Lyndy blushed, "We will watch over them and we will be fine. You guys have fun and don't worry about us." Ty laughed, "Well that is easier said than done honey. You will find out when you have kids." He blushed, "not like that will be soon." Amy and Lyndy rolled their eyes and Wyatt put his hand over his smiling mouth. They headed to their room as Amy smacked his arm, "Good one Borden." Ty was in bed reading as Amy got ready. Her routine was the same but for Ty it was pure heaven. She applied her lotion and combed out her hair. He looked up from his book and noticed she was stretching a little more than usual. Normally that would get him going but he looked concerned seeing she seemed in a little pain. He quietly got up and walked over to her. "Babe are you Ok? You are grimacing." She smiled, "I had a few challenges this week and am really sore. I guess I am just not as young as I used to be. Plus I am really tired." He looked into her eyes. "Amy are you kidding me, you have the body of an 18-year-old and are amazingly beautiful. And I have a remedy for you." Noting her downturned eyes, "No not that and we have a whole week of uninterrupted alone time this week. No, I am going to give you a full body massage. Now take those clothes off and lay down. Let Master Ty take over." She smiled seductively, "Master Ty, sounds pretty kinky." He giggled, "You are incorrigible young lady, no prepare yourself to be soothed and pampered." She laid on her stomach and Ty moved next to her. He grabbed her favorite moisturizer and began at her ankles and moved up her body, kneading the areas where he felt the most stress. Amy moaned lightly as he moved up and down her body. The lotion felt cool and refreshing and as always his hands were magical. He spent a lot of time on her upper legs, lower back and shoulders. He was completely focused on his wife and after a while he noticed a slow and steady breathing as she had fallen asleep. He gently moved everything off the bed and covered her with the sheets, snuggling next to her. She was his life and as he looked at her his love swelled and a slight tear came to his eye. He soon joined her in a peaceful sleep.
They both woke up to a lot of activity outside their door. The kids were getting ready and setting up breakfast. Amy rolled over to Ty and kissed him passionately. She smiled, "I feel wonderful this morning, I may have to request more massages from you." Startled a bit she continued, "Did I fall asleep on you?" He laughed, "You were out a few minutes after I started but don't worry I kept going until I was done." As they cuddled, of course a loud knock came from their door. Surprisingly, it was JT. "Mom, Dad, sleeping in time is over, we have to roll." They both laughed got dressed quickly and pulled their little boy into bed with them. The tickled him and hugged him tightly. He squirmed and sniffed saying, "Why does the bed smell like strawberries? Amy blushed and Ty held his laugh. Finally she said, "Well mommy like to put lotion on and it smells like strawberries." He seemed Ok with the answer, hopped out of bed grabbing both of their hands. "Let's go eat, we are leaving in a couple of hours." Breakfast was chatty and when finished, Ty and Wyatt cleaned up while Amy did a final bag check for the kids. She found a few unauthorized items but looked the other way. Wyatt and Ty loaded the car as the girls packed snacks, books, journals and other stuff in the backpack. Following Amy's direction they each loaded one extra set of clothes as well. All of JT stuff was put in Wyatt and Lyndy's larger backpacks. After a quick goodbye and feeding of the horses the family loaded up in the large SUV and headed out to the airport. The plan was to get there early so bags could get dropped off and the kids checked in. Amy and Ty were allowed to get into the secure area with them and when they made it to the gate they were met by one of the attendants. She went over the process step by step especially the transfer to another plane at Montreal. She gave a card to Lyndy with the name and picture of the person who would meet them and get them to the next plane. She explained that they had seats across from each other so they could all see each other easily. Amy and Ty were happy with the well thought out process and thanked the attendant from the airlines. As boarding was called they were allowed to go in early so after some tearful goodbyes and extra hugs the six of them walked on to the plane and their seats. Amy and Ty stood by the window in each other's arms watching the plane take off. Amy let Maryanne know they were on their way and the forlorn couple headed home.
Ty watched the flight on the airline app and after a call from Montreal let Amy know they were ready to head on to Prince Edward Island. Even though she was trying to keep busy she was a nervous wreck until her phone rang and she had a video call from Maryanne. "They made it and to prove it here they are." She laughed and turned the phone around. Amy and Ty saw 12 smiling kids and Justin waving. Behind them were a number of his security staff as their arrival had caused a bit of a media ruckus. Amy smiled with tears in her eyes saying hello and telling them she would call them later. Ty smiled and reminded them to behave. The call ended and Amy held on to her love. The ride to the compound was short and when they arrived they were met by Justin's parents and his brother's family. Greetings were lighthearted and friendly. The security team and staff unloaded their bags and took them to the rooms they were going to be in. Justin's brother wife and their kids were staying in the guest house. The older kids were in the pool house, with Justin and Maryanne's 18-year-old niece as a chaperone. The younger Borden's boarded with the Trudeau kids. First on the agenda was a late smack and a tour of the compound. The Borden kids were amazed at how beautiful it was, especially the family barn that had 16 stalls. The family had 20 horses that were used for trail rides and fun. The kids had broken up in groups and went down to the water, taking their shoes and socks off and walking along the shore. Lyndy smiled walking with Haley, Elana, Brad, Wyatt and their cousin Ariana. "We don't get a lot of chances to do this it is fun." All the while holding Wyatt's hand and keep an eye on the others. They got back to the house and unpacked their things. Dinner was ready so the entire group headed down to the enormous dining groom. The Trudeaus were used to large family meals and the table, which was built by their grandfather's father easily fit them. Dinner was fun but the kids were getting tired, especially JT who was falling asleep in Maddie's lap. After a happy call from Amy and Ty they all headed to bed but not after thanking the adults and giving Maryanne and their grandma hugs.
The kids were up early the next morning and all help handling the morning mucking, feeding and watering of the horses. Breakfast was laid out by the kitchen staff and the kids ate and talked casually about the day. Maryanne sat them all down and set some ground rules. "Ok, so here are some rules to follow, Trudeau's, the Borden's are our guest so make sure you treat them nicely and be good host. Don't waver form the compound unless we have something scheduled, like the waterpark we are going to on Wednesday. For all of you this place affords us privacy and protection from the media so do not for any reason leave the grounds. Borden's make sure you are always with a Trudeau because they know these limitations. Trudeaus, don't bend the rules. Everyone there is plenty of fun things to do as we have almost 100 acres and several miles of shoreline. This compound had been in Justin's family for over 200 years, so respect it. Any questions?" Maddie smiled, "So Wyatt and Lyndy can never be by themselves, sweet!" Everyone laughed and Lyndy smacked her little sister. Maryanne smiled, "One more thing, Borden's if you ever need to talk to Mr. Trudeau or me privately just let us know. We are here for all of you. And finally have fun." The kids dispersed, the older ones heading out for a ride and the younger group heading to the pool. JT and Bart went on the laps of Wyatt and Brad on the trail ride. Lyndy smiled, "Haley, this is a beautiful property. No mountains but a whole lot of streams and trees." Haley smiled, "Yea we love it here but we are heading to a real cool spot where we can swim. There is a natural pond fed by clear water hot springs. It is set up with a small pen for the horses and a cool dock and rowboats we can use. That why we told you to wear swimsuits and pack towels, snacks and drinks. We are having a picnic!" After 10 minutes they stopped at the most beautiful pond they had ever scene. The let the horse get a drink, untacked them and put them in the pen. The set up their picnic, took off their shorts and tops and jumped in the waters. As they were told it was warm and very comfortable. JT and Bart had life jackets on but still had fun splashing the older kids. Wyatt and Lyndy stayed close while keeping an eye on JT. Lyndy looked at Wyatt as he glanced at Ariana who was in a very revealing bikini and was very beautiful sunning herself on the shore. She grabbed his chin and pulled it to her face. "What's you looking at lover boy. See something you like?" He immediately blushed and stutteringly responded, "No I have all I need to look at with you. Did I tell you I really like that swimsuit." She giggled, "Nice recovery Wyatt, but Ariana sure is pretty." A little more composed he answered, "Yea she is but you are beautiful and my one and only love." He kissed her on the cheek as Ariana spoke up, "Ok you two chill, remember I am you chaperone." JT laughed, "Good work Airana, you have to keep an eye on those two." Everyone laughed and continued swimming and splashing around.
The kids came back from the pond and pool in time to get ready for dinner. They all enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. After dinner, the fire pit was lit and smores were on the menu. Justin's grandpa pulled out his guitar and the group sang some songs. Addie and Annie spoke up, "Lyndy you need to sing for us, please." She blushed but Haley and Maryanne encouraged her. Maryanne spoke, "Lyndy I know you and your mom have beautiful voices, will you sing for us?" She obliged and spoke quietly to Grandpa Trudeau. He smiled and said, "So you know Lyndy Bartlett? She is one of my favorites." Maddie smiled, "She was our Great Grandma. Mom and Lyndy sing her songs all the time while GG plays the guitar and sings along." He smiled, "Well let's give it a shot, can I sing with you too?" Lyndy smiled and gave him a hug. Without them knowing Maryanne video called Amy so she and Ty could listen in. As he began the song Lyndy sat closely next to Wyatt. She began to sing "Lyndy's Song" as the entire group sat in awe. Grandpa Trudeau joined her in the chorus but the rest was all her. Everyone felt the emotion in her voice and Amy was sobbing as she listened. As she moved to the last verse Lyndy heard a familiar voice join her. When they finished, she said, "Mom did you hear the whole thing?" Maryanne fessed up admitting she had called them immediately. As the emotions cleared they chatted and Lyndy asked it Amy would sing a couple of more songs with her. She obliged and with Grandpa Trudeau's guitar support they provided some unexpected entertainment. When they finished, he spoke, "You know Amy I saw your grandma sing a few times. She was amazing and had a lot of dedicated followers. Then all of a sudden she kind of disappeared but luckily I have several of her albums." Amy smiled and thanked him, "Yea when she got pregnant with my mom she decided the road wasn't the place for her. At the same time my Grandpa's rodeo career was winding down so they settled into the ranch life." He followed up, "Is your mom a good singer as well?" Amy put her head down and Lyndy spoke up for her, "My grandma was with my mom saving a horse and died in a truck accident when my mom was 15. The horse, Spartan was my mom's other best friend and we just lost him a while back. My Great Grandma, her dad, my Grandma and my mom are the reason that our ranch exist. We treat and cure horses that are hurting and our legacy is continuing with some of us." The group all smiled warmly as the Borden's said goodbye to their parents, not before asking them how Pike River was. A few minutes after the call Maryanne's phone buzzed with a text from Amy. All it said was "Thank You."
In the cabin at High River, Amy and Ty laid in bed holding each other. He leaned into her, "That was nice and before you say anything I miss them too. She rolled over on top of him and he continued. "But not too much." The next morning the Borden's awoke to another awesome breakfast out by the pool. Mr. Trudeau had to go to a meeting for a couple of days so Maryanne, his brother and his wife asked them what they all wanted to do. The older kids wanted to do some shopping, so their uncle offered to them there. Since they would be unescorted a small security detail also went and would be staying out of their way. Being the family of the Prime Minister did come with some burden but also a lot of perks. The younger group wanted to go the Amusement Park, so Maryanne and her sister-in-law along with their grandma offered to take them. The different groups gathered up what they needed and headed out to their destinations. Grandpa Trudeau along with his returning son would spend the day preparing the family boat for a day the next day. The boat was extremely large and could fit everyone with all of the toys needed for a good day. Even before politics the Trudeau family had amassed a large amount of wealth as the most prominent dairy operation in Eastern Canada. Only Justin and his uncle were in the political arena, both reaching the position of Prime Minister. The amusement park group had a very fun day. Grandma took care of Bart and JT hanging out at the kiddie area most of the day. Maryanne took the older half around and her sister-in-law took the younger group. Since they were such a large group a lunch was pre-arrange and as always a Security team was there. Even at an amusement park, Maryanne grabbed the attention of the public, but luckily most of the onlookers gave them their space. Maddie whispered into Ezzie's ear. "Is it always like this?" She frowned, "Not always but you get used to it. When we were at your place it was nice to have a little freedom." The giggled as they were just about ready to get on another ride.
The older group was really enjoying the shopping area and the freedom of no adults, outside of the security team who were never far away. Several times Haley, Elana and Brad were recognized but there was never an issue. Brad and Wyatt spent a lot of time together as the girls had to go into every shop. Wyatt laughed, "Lyndy could shop all day, she is a little crazy sometime." Brad smiled, "They all are, but last night, her voice is amazing. My Grandpa looked so happy playing the guitar with her. You are really lucky to have her in your life." He smiled, "Yea I am, the whole family is amazing." He hesitated, "My grandma just passed away a short time ago and my parents both died when I was young. Lyndy's parents have guardianship over me and they are amazing. I love them like my real parents and love my adopted siblings as well. I really don't know where I would be without them." Brad smiled in agreement, "I am lucky to have such amazing parents and my brothers and sisters aren't bad too. My dad, even though he has a lot of responsibility, really makes time for us. He is amazing, not only as a father but as a friend. Like you, I have a lot of women around me and he always takes the time to make sure I am Ok. I just had a disagreement with a girl I liked and he flew back from a meeting to be with me. I was shocked when he walked in my room during my self-exile from the family. I know I am only 14 but I really liked her and wanted to try to be her friend again." Wyatt patted his shoulder, "Women!" They laughed as Lyndy and Haley walked over to them. Lyndy spoke up enjoying that they had bonded, "What's so funny you too, you are laughing like to little boys whole stole from the cookie jar." Wyatt proudly answered, "I am just giving Brad some advice about women because as you know I am an expert." Lyndy rolled her eyes and spoke directly to Brad, "Be careful taking advice from this one, I could tell you some stories about this so-called expert." The four of them laughed as the rest of the girls headed toward them. Sidetracking the conversation, Haley spoke up, "Let's get some lunch."
The rest of the week was filled with lots of activities and each night the Borden kids diligently called their parents. Their mom and dad weren't too talkative about their week, except that their mom had taken on a problem horse for Joanna Hawk, their host. Lyndy couldn't help but notice that each of them had a very happy look in their eyes each time they talked and were always holding hands and sitting close. After one of the calls she asked if she could call her mom separately. A few minutes after they hung up, Lyndy walked outside and called her. "Hey mom, I wanted to talk to you alone and see how things were really going with you guys." She giggled, "No new family members on the way I hope." Amy smiled and rolled her eyes realizing that their relationship was very open. "No silly, we just are really enjoying are time together. We miss you guys terribly but I have to admit being lone with your dad has been fun. Lyndy, you know how much we love each other but having time like this is important. As you and Wyatt grow in your relationship, you will understand more. Never take each other for granted and love each other with passion and respect." Not expecting such a deep response, she laughed, "Geez mom I was just asking if you were having fun?" Amy laughed, "Sorry, I just am so lucky to have all of you and your dad. Sometimes I get wrapped up in stuff and forget that. Being with you dad helps me remember how truly blessed I am." Lyndy sensed her emotions and quietly said, "Mom I love you and dad more than anything but I will always have a special place for you in my heart. You are my best friend and have always been there for me, just me." They were quiet as tears came to both of their eyes. After a few moments Amy found the ability to talk. "Thank you baby, I feel the same. So is everyone behaving?" Lyndy smiled, "For the most part. Every once in a while Maddie goes all Maddie but she has done well. Wyatt, Brad, JT and Bart are thick as thieves since they are the only boys. Mr. Trudeau's brother's family is here and they have three girls so they are kind of outnumbered. It's cool to see Wyatt and Brad bonding. I have caught them several times talking quietly and laughing." Amy smiled, "Well now you know how I feel about Caleb and your dad. He is very important to you father and that bond has made both of them better men." Amy heard her daughter yawn so they ended the call. As she walked back to the pool house, Lyndy smile realizing that they had always been close but as she got older she loved her mom even more.
The last night of their stay they had a family dinner with just the Trudeaus and Bordens. Their Uncle's family had already left that morning. Justin had returned the day before and the plan was for him to drop the Borden kids off in Calgary on his way to Vancouver the following day. Dinner chat was lively as each kid was asked to say what their most favorite thing was about the week together. JT and Bart spoke together and said they had fun fishing with Grandpa and Grandma Trudeau. Maddie said that everything was fun but added, "I really liked the campfire singalongs at night, especially the smores. Annie spoke next, "I love my little sister and brother, but I really liked hanging out with the older kids at the pool and shopping. Elana is my new favorite shopping buddy." Addie smiled, "Well I am not a shopper but I can't lie, riding the ATVs on those trails was awesome. But most of all working with you Grandpa on the tractor was awesome too." He smiled and added, "You know you way around machinery. If I ever have troubles I will give you a call." Everyone laughed at the two of them as they had formed a really cool bond. Lyndy and Wyatt went next. Before they could speak, Maddie blurted out, "You are not allowed to say that being together was your favorite part, too mushy." Lyndy blushed, "Well I was going to say that but I really enjoyed the trail rides and shopping with my new besties. I mean I like Wyatt but it was fun to have some girl time." All the girls cheered yelling girl power. Wyatt smirked, "Well I like Lyndy too but my favorite part was hanging with my boys. Brad, JT and Bart, we really had a lot of fun, especially making fun of the girls shopping. Boys rule right guys." The four of them high fived each other grunting together. After the Trudeaus spoke of their favorite things, Lyndy looked over to Mr. and Mrs. Trudeau. "What was your favorite part of the week?" The both smiled as Maryanne spoke, "Well we actually talked about this last night. As parents, we loved that all of you had such a great time and enjoyed yourself. You guys are your parents and our greatest accomplishment and speaking for them we love you all very much." Through some tears the entire group hugged. The Bordens headed to their rooms happy about the fun week but looking forward to seeing their mom and dad as well as their friends and horses.
