Chapter Ninety-Nine

Fall Finale Drama

A/N – That last chapter seemed to be developed on the fly and I hope it flowed for you as well as I felt it did. Although it is in a state of innocence, some may wonder if 13 is a little young for romance but in today's world, kids seem to be much more mature that in my generation. For any concerned I will be respectful and treat these new relationships within reason. For the two remaining competitive Borden girls it is Fall Finale time. Expectations are high and both are confident they will do well. And it is time for a little twist of drama. Hang on as the past will come back to affect the family. This will be a definite challenge for the family and as you will see they will need each other more than ever. Once we move past this I am really looking forward to the competition for Gwen, Sylvia, Trudy and others as well as the H.E.E. picnic and events. Mature Content Enjoy!

As expected the next morning everyone except, Wyatt, Maddie and JT slept in a little later. Maddie spoke up to the two boys, "I am going to get them up, this is ridiculous." Wyatt grabbed her arm to calm her. "Mads, they got home late and Lyndy waited up for them so give them a break. Why don't the three of us go feed the horses and come back and make breakfast. I bet they will appreciate it and I am sure Annie and Addie will tell us all about last night." They both agreed and they headed out to the famliy barn. When they got back to the house Amy was sitting at the table drinking some coffee. "Hey, you three I was wondering where you were." JT jumped in her lap, "We took care of the horses so all you sleepy heads could stay in bed longer. And now we are going to make breakfast." She smiled and hugged Maddie too, "Well that is very nice of you guys. I heard Lyndy rustling and dad will be down shortly. I have no idea when Addie and Annie fell asleep so we will give them some time." JT looked at his mom, "Did you and dad have some rainchecks?" She smiled and blushed at the same time simply answering, "You are something else little man." Amy went to get Ty as the three of them started getting breakfast ready. JT set the table as Wyatt and Maddie started working on a hearty breakfast. After a few minutes Lyndy came down and helped after a hug from Wyatt. Amy walked into their room quietly after looking in on the twins, who were still sleeping. She smiled at Ty who was sitting up in bed. "Your son asked if we had some rainchecks this morning since we were still sleeping." He smiled and started counting with his fingers, "Hmmm I recall one last night and two this morning, are there more?" She giggled climbing into bed to hug and kiss him. "You are as bad as him. But we need to get up. Wyatt, Maddie and JT did morning chores and are now cooking breakfast for everyone." He frowned and then after kissing her passionately he cooed, "Well I guess we will have to take care of them tonight." After they got dressed they peeked into the twins room and saw they were waking up. They walked into good mornings and hugs. Amy smiled, "So how are you two this morning?" Annie yawned, "Well it took a while to fall asleep. Lyndy was with us and we talked about the dance and the issue with those stupid boys. I don't even know how late it was." Addie looked at the sleepily, "It was around 1:00am, ughhh." Ty quietly asked, "So the dance was a lot of fun, hey." They both smiled and blushed as Annie finally spoke first, "Daddy it was amazing, it was fun and Jeremy was a dream." Addie added, "I could have kissed Desi all night except for the time they were setting those stupid boys in their place. We have never been so proud of them both." Amy smiled, "That was really nice of them. Come on we better get downstairs before Maddie blows another gasket." The laughed got dressed and headed downstairs.

Breakfast and the rest of the week was good for everyone. The kids were having a good week at school especially Annie and Addie as they were still on a high from the dance. News of the incident spread like wildfire and the support for Bella and Abby was heartwarming and strong. Desi, Jeremy and the other boys that stepped in had become heroes to their classmates. Several accolades came from city officials and several LGBQT organizations. Seems the news made all the way to Calgary and other surrounding cities. Abby and Bella identities of course were protected but the incident was not, in fact it was called an honorable and brave act. For their own protection, their families decided not to allow the Calgary TV station to interview them live on the morning show but face to face interviews were done. The boys all felt it was no big deal but others around them disagreed. Annie and Addie were beaming with pride but stayed calm as the attention they got was overwhelming as well. Maddie was also getting some residual attention due to the incident which even made it to her class. She was very mature about it and was not taking advantage of it out of respect for her sisters and their boyfriends. She was talking to one of the teachers who asked, "Maddie, I know you have been quiet, which by the way is very mature of you, but the other teachers are very proud of what those young me did. Your family and sisters should be proud." She smiled, "We are very proud of them as well. It reminds me of all the things that Gwen, Sylvia and Trudy have to deal with. Some people are just stupid." The teacher smiled, "Although I don't like the word stupid, that's the Maddie we all know. You have been a strong supporter of them and the entire staff is very proud of you." Maddie smiled and went on to her classes feeling good and looking for her three friends. Lyndy was into her routine between the two schools. She was excited about the upcoming competition she was asked to participate in. It was going to be in Vancouver and just her and her mom were going. She was looking forward to spending a weekend with her. Wyatt's driving lessons were going well and he even had a few chances to jump in Old Blue with Ty. One day as they were about to head out, Amy saw them and spoke up, "You know Wyatt, Ty taught me how to drive in that truck, maybe I should be the one with you?" Wyatt laughed, "Well thanks, but I think dad wants to save his clutch." Amy's eye's opened wide and she smacked her husband on the arm. "Whatever, you two men go see if you can do better." They all laughed as they pulled away.

A major part of the week was Maddie and Annie's prep for the Fall Finale coming up on the weekend. Amy, Georgie, Katie and Lyndy all devoted time to the two of them. They also were spending a little time with Gwen and Sylvia as they prepared for their competition and company picnic/rodeo. The two competitors were focused and hoping to do well. Each were favorites to win their age group but they were not taking anything for granted. JT had become their number one cheerleader as he made sure he attended all of their training sessions. He would watch form the rail and cheer them on louder than anyone else. He would stand next to whoever was coaching them at the time and kept asking questions. Amy leaned down to pick him up the day she was watching them. "Hey JT, it is really nice that you are cheering on your sisters so much. I know they really appreciate it." He smiled and calmly said, "Well mommy I love my sisters and I want them to do good. I am excited for them." She looked at him in complete motherly love mode hugging and kissing his cheek. He squirmed, "Ok mom you don't have to get all weird, it is what a brother does for his sisters." At this point Ty came over from the examination room and saw them. As he walked over he saw that Amy's eyes were misting. He spoke up, "Hey buddy can you go find Lyndy for me?" As he left he pulled her into his arms. "Hey Amy, what's wrong?" She smiled into his neck, "Nothing it's just he is such a wonderful little boy. He cares so much for everyone." Ty smiled, "Just like his mother." At dinner that night they went over the plans for the morning and the show. Annie and Maddie's competition was on Saturday so they were ready. Amy and Ty made the rounds making sure everyone got a good night's sleep. As they went to their room they got ready and went to bed holding each other. Ty smiled, "Tomorrow should be fun, I bet the girls will do great." Amy was quiet and Ty looked at her. "Still thinking about JT?" She smiled meekly, "Yea what he said really shook me in a good way. We are so lucky to have kids that have each other's back. Growing up when Lou left I was all alone and had no one to talk to or to support me. And after mom died and Lou was heading back to New York I was lost. But then you came." He laughed, "So I saved you just like you saved me?" She smiled into his chest, "Yep and I think I should thank you for that." For over an hour they took the time to thank each other over and over. As they met as one their love exploded as their bodies moved together. Catching their breath, they laid side by side breathing heavily with a light sheen of sweat on their naked bodies. Amy leaned over and whispered, "Well I feel completely thanked." Ty whispered back, "Me too and I agree, our kids are great and I love them completely. They remind me every day of what I have to be thankful for. And well making love to you is good too." She looked at him wide eyes pinching his ribs. "Nice one Borden." Before she could continue he smothered her in a kiss. It seems they weren't done thanking each other yet.

As with most competition mornings the Borden house was clicking. After a good breakfast, the girls got their horses ready and loaded them into the trailer. Amy took them along with Lyndy and Wyatt to the competition site a little early to get registered and the horses settled in. Mystic and Theo were excited and they decided to bring Boone along for support as they three of them were pretty close. Ty left with the rest of the kids a little later and the rest of the family and friends would meet them there settling in their section to cheer the competitors on. Maddie and Annie were excited and as usual a little nervous. As they walked the course, the girls were attentive to the course's details. Amy and Lyndy walked with them and answered any questions they had. As they were walking around Amy put her arm around her oldest daughter's shoulder and whispered, "I think they girls value your opinion and I know I do to. Do you miss it?" Lyndy smiled meekly, "A little but I love helping them and the fact that they listen. It is a good feeling." At that moment Amy realized that she was definitely a part of the legacy their family of teachers had built. After they finished their walk through they registered and headed back to Wyatt and the horses. Maddie, who just arrived, laughed as Lyndy went to hug him, "Good lord you too, we were gone like 20 minutes." Lyndy looked over and stuck her tongue out at her. The horses seemed settled in as Ty and the rest of the group arrived. Annie and Addie were excited when soon after, Desi and Jeremy along with Abby and Bella came back to see them. The three couples have become close especially after the incident at the dance. They went off on their own as the rest of the group mingled with the other competitors and their families whom they had become to know over the years of competition. When others arrived they greeted them and found an area to hold for the rest of the group. Each competitor could have coaches and groom in the paddock so Amy, Georgie, Katie and Lyndy would be with them. JT was happy because he got to hang with Wyatt and his dad. He smiled at Wyatt, "I like my sister but I like when it is just us guys. Those two are always kissing you and stuff, kind of embarrassing." Ty and Wyatt attacked his ribs and after kisses with their ladies they headed up to the grandstand. As usual the family and friend group was large and noisy. Annie and Maddie waved to them a little embarrassed but more feeling lucky to have so much support.

The announcer brought everyone to attention and welcomed the crowd. He made mention of some of the celebrities in attendance including the Miracle Girl Amy Borden and Olympic Champion and Coach, Georgie Weber. They blushed as they waved to the crowd. JT was next to Noah and Hannah as they yelled the loudest for their moms. Maddie was in the last year of her age group and they would be the first to compete. She had drawn the middle for round one and second to last for the second. He competitors were strong but she was definitely the favorite. Annie's group would be in the afternoon and to be honest was the strongest of all. Annie would definitely have to be on her game to finish well but secretly the four coaches felt pretty confident. Her growth as a rider had blossomed over the last few months and she was really stepping up her game. Also new this year was the presence of representatives from competitive jumping teams and schools from around the area. Thie Hudson competition had become well known among the horse jumping world so these people were there to scope out the talent. Amy and Georgie made a specific note about one of them who was well dressed and seemed highly interested in Maddie and Annie. Maddie's group was ready to begin and both rider and horse were ready. As the first few competitors ran the course the times were good but several had penalties. It seemed the course was a little more difficult than normal. Amy whispered to Georgie, "Looks like they are trying to step it up for all of the extra visitors. Silly but expected. I am sure Maddie will be Ok. Look how focused she is, she looks like you used to look." Georgie smiled and laughed, "Yea right and you weren't competitive at all." They hugged each other and prepared for her run. Maddie was up to the line ready to go. Mystic head was held high as the horse knew it was go time. As Maddie began her run they aggressively attacked the first jump clearing it easily. The four coaches and Annie, who had joined them, looked on as she gained strength as she moved through the course. After a clear run, the announcer said her official time which was almost a full second ahead of the others so far. She pranced over the paddock, hopped off Mystic and hugged her coaches and waving to her supporters. She looked right at Gwen, Sylvia and Trudy and gave them a thumbs up. They she saw her dad and mouthed that she loved him. As the rest of the competitors made their runs after the first round she was in the lead by a full 45 seconds. They had a break and some of the others came down to congratulate her. Maddie was very happy hugging everyone, especially her GG. Like the rest of the Borden's she realized how important it was to him. He whispered in her ear, "Great job kiddo, you ride just like your mom and grandma." She smiled hugging him tightly.

As the second round started the contestants all improved although none of them had bested Maddie's time. As her ride approached she stood next to Mystic talking to him quietly. As a Borden she understood that the bond with her horse was just as important that their level of skill. She rubbed his neck and his muzzle. The horse responded leaning into her. When Amy came over Mystic looked up and acknowledged her arrival, leaning into her as well. Mother and daughter were aligned with the horse and both whispered to her. Ty looked down from the stands in silence with a pride only and father and husband could have for two people he loved dearly. As Amy walked away she smiled at him as their connection was understood between them without words. Maddie was next up and she mounted her horse with Lyndy's help. As they approached the starting line both horse and rider stood tall. The buzzer sounded and Maddie began her run. Mystic seemed to kick into another gear after cleanly clearing that first jump. Her momentum carried her easily over the next few as she approached the most challenging jump on the course. She aligned herself insuring her steps were in order. Mystic leaped and cleared it with ease and most importantly landed in a way that had her set up perfectly for the final jump. They sailed over the double oxer clearing it along with the water after it. The crowd went wild as Georgie leaned on to Amy, "That ride was awesome, I am sure her time will be amazing." Amy smiled as they had their eyes on the board as the time showed up. Maddie had beat her first run by almost a half of second. The time tied the best ever time for her age bracket. She came over to them and jumped into her mom's arms. "Mom did you see Mystic, he was unbelievable." She hugged the other coaches and after the final competitor finished, Ty came down with her other siblings and Jack. The twins joined in the celebration and JT jumped into his sisters arms. As the announcer got everyone's attention he announced the winners and of course Maddie won by a large margin. She beamed as mention was made of her record tying performance. They all laughed when they announced the record that she tied was by no other than Georgie Fleming Morris Weber. They high fived each other. Maddie glanced at her GG and smiled as he tipped his hat. When they were called up for their awards Maddie asked JT to sit with her as they announced her as the winner. The announcer asked who her extra rider was and she proudly said, "This is JT my little brother and number one supporter. This award it just as much his as mine." JT kissed her cheek as everyone cheered loudly. Amy and Ty held on to each other watching with pride.

After a very happy lunch with just the family, Annie got prepared for her session. While she was getting ready a very well-dressed man came up to Ty and Amy who were standing with Georgie, Steven and their three kids. He approached them and spoke very formally, "Good day, I have to say your daughter is quite the rider. I am with the newly formed Hillside Farms Jumping Team. Once we select the team members we will compete throughout the year in Canada, the NW United States and will make one trip oversees. When you have some time I would love to go over the details. We have been watching both of your daughters and feel they would be great additions to our elite team." As he took a breath, Amy asked, "I'm sorry we didn't catch your name?" So sorry, my name is Samuel." Immediately a feeling of uncomfortable concern came over both Amy and Ty. Ty recovered, "Well thank you for the kind words but we need to prepare our daughter for her session. Here is my card, give me a call and we can meet up later this week to discuss this. To be honest we need to hear the complete breakdown of the expectations before we even consider it for our girls." Amy clutched his arm still not able to speak as Ty continued," "And we have to ask, who is the head of this team." The man smiled hesitantly, "Our boss likes to keep behind the scenes so I will have to wait to share that with you." A now brave Amy spoke up, "If we are even going to consider this we must meet them, nothing happens without that happening." He smiled and excused himself. Amy looked at Georgie and immediately she knew what she was thinking. Ty spoke to them, "Let's keep this between us for now, we need more details." They shook their heads in agreement as Ty and Steven went back to the stands and Amy and Georgie back over to the group helping Maddie. As they approached, Lyndy saw the concern in her mom's eyes, "Mom is everything OK? You look like you have seen a ghost." Amy hugged her daughter and whispered, "It's all good, let's get this girl ready." Lyndy wasn't convinced but let it go for now hoping to ask later.

Annie and Theo were ready and Addie had joined the four coaches for support of her twin. They spoke privately and Lyndy immediately noticed their language was being used. She smiled at them, hugged them each and said she loved them. Amy looked as her three daughters supporting each other smiling. Annie's group was full of some very talented competitors. Of all of the different age groups her's was by far had the most seasoned and challenging group of riders. Amy spoke to the group as Annie looked over the field. "Annie, you need to just focus on you and Theo and nothing else. I remember my first Fall Finale. I was not the best in the group but your dad said something to me that I will never forget. He told me that watching me work with Spartan was the most amazing thing he had ever seen and to just go out there and have fun. As I went through the course I kept hearing his words and won. Well, honey you and Theo are amazing and together you will do well, I know it." Annie put her head down and smiled, "Daddy said the same thing to me just before he went back up." They all smiled knowing that Annie was ready. Although not preferred Annie would be the first rider in session one but luckily like Maddie, second from last for round two. Theo was jumpy anticipating that the run was about ready to start. The others looked on as Addie went to him and looked into his eyes whispering in their language. Almost immediately Theo rolled his ears forward and nuzzled into her grasp relaxing his gait. Addie patted her sisters leg, "He's ready sis, go kick some butt." Annie glance up to see a smiling Jeremy and coyly waved to him. As the announcer started she was called to the line. She sat tall in the saddle and Theo raised his head in anticipation. As the bell sounded they aggressively began the run. Immediately Amy and Georgie noticed that although they were in attack mode it was controlled and Annie talked to Theo all the way. She flew over the first jump and continued to move over each jump effortlessly. At this level there were two additional jumps and of course they were higher. As they approached the most challenging jump they readied and cleared it with ease. The one thing that they had worked on was the landing and preparing for the next jump. Katie and Lyndy smiled as they saw Annie's focus and Theo's response to her direction. They approached the final jump with intensity and confidence as well as a big smile on Annie's face. It seemed as though they floated over it with grace and strength. As she finished the crowd erupted in applause as they knew they had witnessed an amazing run.

She walked over her team and smiled broadly. She jumped off int her mom's arms and Addie took Theo. They all waited for the time holding each other tightly. When the time came up they were very pleased as it was the best time she had ever posted. The crowd erupted as the time was posted on the big board. Annie looked to the family noticing her dad, GG and especially Jeremy. All of them were smiling broadly and making quite a ruckus. Annie blushed as they continued on a little longer than they probably should have. For the rest of the session she watched patiently at her competition. Georgie whispered to Lyndy and Katie, "Man there are some real good jumpers in her group." Addie smiled and looked over to them, "And she will beat them all, I can feel it." Everyone smiled as they watched the final competitor finish round one. Annie was in second place, only 2/10ths of a second behind the leader. It looked like it was going to be a two-horse race. During the break between sessions, Ty, JT, GG and Jeremy headed down to the group. Ty smiled hugging his daughter, "Great run honey, you rocked it." GG added, "Great run kiddo, I think you even beat your mom's time." He pulled her into a hug that lasted a while longer. Jeremy hugged her as well as the group all raised their eyebrows watching the two of them. Annie blushed saying, "Give it a rest all of your," hugging him again and kissing his cheek. Now it was time for him to blush. JT patiently waited, went to hug his sister and whispered into her ear. Lyndy laughed, Telling secrets JT?" He smiled as Annie interrupted, "Yes it is between the two of us only." She held her little brother tightly and Addie joined them and whispered something to JT. He smiled and simply answered "Figures." Everyone laughed at the interchange as the three of them giggled at each other. Jeremy spoke up looking at Annie, "Let me guess Addie felt what JT said and knows it too." JT looked at him seriously and then smiled, "Maybe." Again the group laughed and the visitors headed back to the bleachers. The next round started and Annie watched each competitor run the course. As her turn came up she was still solidly in second place and the rider in front of her was after her. She mounted Theo after a quick discussion with him went to the starting line. She looked back at her team and especially Addie, winking and smiling. Annie and Theo were ready as they waited for the bell to ring.

As they went through the course it was just the two of them moving and gliding over each jump. As usual, Theo effortlessly cleared the jumps but more importantly landed in a way that allowed them to attack the next jump with ease. As they approached the last jump it seemed as though Theo was gliding over the sand/dirt mix, his feet barely touching the ground. Later Georgie would tell her it was the same way she felt when she won the gold with Phoenix. As she finished the Borden smile flashed and the crowd applauded with hoots and hollers. She moved to the staging area, dismounted and went to her team for a big hug. She knew the time would be good but when it flashed she stood wide eyes with tears forming. She had bested her first time by 1/2 a second and couldn't believe it. Addie hugged her as the entire family exploded in applause. The rider in first place looked over at the attention her competitor was getting, nervously. She was rattled a bit but regained her focus and moved to the line. She meekly smiled at Annie realizing what she had accomplished and knew what she needed to do. As the whistle blew Addie immediately knew the rider was in trouble. There was hesitation and uncertainty in the horse's gait reflecting as well in the look of the rider. After barely clearing the first three jumps she grazed the next rail and knocked the next on off. They finished the run with a look of dejection on the face of the rider and her team. The Borden team tried to control themselves but they knew Annie had won. After what seemed was forever the clock showed the time and the announcer spoke out. "And our winner is Annie Borden from the Miracle Ranch." Again applause rained down from the bleachers and Annie hugged her sister tightly again. As they whispered something in each other's ear as the entire family moved to the staging area to congratulate the winner. The announcer called the three top finishers to the award presentation ceremony. When he came to Annie he mentioned of the Borden Family sweep of the two sessions of the day. He called Maddie up to stand and share the applause. The family stood proudly as their two champions stood arm in arm.

As the crowd dispersed some of the family headed off to Heartland to get ready for the celebration dinner. The Borden's, Wyatt and Jeremy hung back to get the horses into the trailer. Before they left several of the special visitors approached Amy and Ty leaving information about their programs offering a possibility to set up a meeting with them. They were very cordial and appreciated that they just dropped a card allowing them to head home. The well-dressed gentleman that had approached them earlier was a little more aggressive, attempting to engage them in a deeper conversation. Ty finally spoke up. "Sir we appreciate your enthusiasm but we have to head back to a family gathering. Just leave the information and if interested we will get with you." He frowned, "Well I only have a number as the information I have is better given in a presentation not a brochure." Now Amy was getting a little annoyed. "I understand that but we don't have the time to talk now. We have horses to get back to our ranch and a famliy celebration at our family homestead. I would appreciate that you respect that." The man stepped back looking like he was going to say something but Ty put his hand up. "We are leaving and will call if we decide we want to speak to you." The caravan headed out as the man stood in defeat. They stopped at the Miracle Ranch to drop off the horses making sure that along with all the family horses, they were fed and groomed for the evening. The large group got through it quickly and headed over to the party. As they pulled up the party was well underway. Several members of the staff and other friends who didn't make the event were there. Amy and Ty headed into the kitchen and Lou asked seeing a weird look on her sister's face, "That took a little longer than I thought, did something happen." Tim joked and said, "They didn't take back their ribbons did they?" Amy looked at him sternly, "No dad they didn't but we have an uncomfortable conversation with one of the guys from the visiting teams and clubs watching the competition. He was overly aggressive and wouldn't get the hint that we needed to leave." Lisa chuckled, "I know the one you are talking about, he seemed a little odd." Jack stepped in, "Well let's go celebrate our winners and Tim, you are an idiot." They laughed and went back to the party that was going full steam.

The Borden's headed home still slightly buzzed but fading quickly. JT was out like a light in Wyatt's lap and Maddie was just about there. Lyndy and Wyatt took JT to bed and Ty carried Maddie to her room. After everyone was settled, Amy and Ty made the rounds finding a sleeping JT and Maddie who they both kissed and tucked in. The twins were still a little buzzed but fading fast. Amy and Ty took a little more time to talk to them and were soon closing their door. After saying goodnight to Wyatt and Lyndy, who were also tired they headed to their room. As Ty laid in bed looking over some work stuff Amy sat combing out her hair. She spoke up, "Ty there is something about that guy that has me on edge, I don't know what it is but just the way he was so insistent." Ty walked over to her putting his hands on her shoulders and kissing her neck. "Me too he was just a little different and his refusal to leave when we asked really made me angry." Amy finished up and joined her husband in bed. He couldn't help but notice that she had one of his favorite set of pajamas on. "Well, Mrs. Borden I like your attire, it's one of my favorites. Well not number one but close." She seductively stood up dropping her pajama's on the floor. She smiled, "Is this your favorite?" She moved into his arms discarding his boxers as they began passionately kissing each other. They loved each other completely and finally fell asleep in each other's arms, deciding they definitely needed a sleep in the next morning. As expected, everyone seemed to sleep in and no one was complaining. Everyone decided that a light breakfast was in order. At the table, the talk was light and upbeat, still relishing the victors. Amy smiled and Ty spoke up, "Girls we are all so proud of you." Everyone joined in the congratulations. Before they finished JT spoke up talking to Annie, "See I told you." Everyone looked at him questionably as he gave in and told him what he had whispered to her before her run. "Fine I told her that Grandma and Great Grandma told me that her and Maddie would both win. And even though she didn't hear me Addie knew too – you know that whole twin thing they have" Everyone sat still as he continued to calmly eat his breakfast. Nothing else was said.

They decided to go on a family ride and picnic. Amy and Ty had a little work to do so the kids tended to the horses. Wyatt and Lyndy, with assistance from JT made some sandwiches and got some drinks ready. Once ready they all got the horse tacked up and moved them over to the front of the house. At Amy's urging they all headed inside for a last trip to the restroom. JT noted, "I don't need a bathroom I can use the woods mom." After the look from her he headed in. They each grabbed their individual thermoses, loading the sandwiches, chips and extra drinks in their saddlebags. As they mounted their horses Amy looked over her family, all adorned with jeans, western shirts and cowboy hats. JT was going to ride by himself with Lyndy and Wyatt on his sides. JT yelled, "Let's head on out." Amy rolling her eyes and saying, "We have to keep you away from Caleb and the ranch hands." Everyone laughed as they walked to the trail they needed to use. They have moved no more than 50 feet when Ty saw a black SUV pulling down the drive. Amy looked over shrugging her shoulders as he asked, "Are we expecting anyone?" The SUV pulled up to them as the overzealous man from yesterday stepped out of the passenger seat. Ty and Amy told Lyndy and Wyatt to take the group to the ridge, where the picnic would be and that they would catch up. The man approached them as they dismounted Blaze and Triumph, holding their leads. Ty aggressively approached him saying, "I thought we told you that we would get back to you. Why are you hear on our property bothering us on a Sunday. Before you say anything else just be on your way and to be frank, I am pretty sure we are not interested in what you have to say. So please leave out property now, we have a family picnic to get to." The man tried to speak and Ty held up his hand as they headed to remount their horses. As they turned away, the back door was opened by the driver and someone stepped out that made Amy's legs weaken and Ty look turn stone cold. "Well hello Amy Fleming. It is so good to see the Miracle Girl again."
