Chapter One Hundred
The Prince, Good Times, The Decision
A/N – Ok it is time for everyone to calm down. Like most of us, I was not fond of the Prince and his role in the series but as we all know sometime the past returns and some people just don't get it. Although this will be a challenge I am sure you will enjoy how Amy and Ty handle their old nemesis. I don't know what I will write but I know I will have fun. More importantly in my wildest dreams, I would never had thought I would reach 100 Chapters and over 470,000 words. And this from a person who has never wrote a thing before this in their life. Anyway after we dispose of the Prince I will spend time on the competition for Gwen and friends and the company picnic and rodeo. Depending on how much time I spend on each will determine if I need one or two chapters. I have received some great feedback and would love to have more. As I have said you all have given me some great ideas so keep them coming. Definitely some Mature Content needed for Amy and Ty this chapter. Enjoy! 😊
Amy and Ty were speechless as a smug and arrogant Prince, now King Ahmed looked at them both approaching Amy as if he wanted a hug. "What no greeting for an old friend?" Amy was the first able to speak with conviction, "So Ahmed, what do you want. You know we really never wanted to see you again, ever. You tried to pull us apart but we survived your petty crush and have made an amazing life for us and our five children. You are an unwelcomed memory and you need to leave." The other man spoke up, "Miss Fleming you must address his highness as King Ahmed or your majesty. It is not appropriate to speak to him in such informal tones." Ty stepped right in the face of the man, "Listen Samuel, or whatever your name is, at one time we respected him but no longer and we will call him what we want and talk to him in a manner he deserves. And it is not Amy Fleming it is Amy Borden, Mrs. Amy Borden." Samuel continued as Ahmed raised his hand to step away and sarcastically continued, "Well Mrs. Borden, I apologize for the surprise. As you told me once, it is better if I handle things on my own rather than have someone do it for me. So I am here to talk to you about your two daughters." Ty stepped up, "Ok we will listen to what you have to say." They went to their office to have the discussion. Ahmed looked around impressed with their operation. "Seems you have done well for yourselves Amy," as he continued to discount Ty's presence, instead staring at Amy. She stepped up in his face as his security guard watched intently. "Ahmed, this is what Ty and I have built with and for our family. Yes, me and Ty so if you don't understand that we are done before we start." Ty smiled as Ahmed stepped back a little. "Still have a lot of spunk, I love it. Ok Ty and Amy, let me tell you what I have to offer you and your two talented jumpers. As Samuel mentioned we are putting together a team of the best jumpers to compete on the circuit. I have purchased Hillside Farms and the Jumping Team will be based out of it. Samuel will manage the facility and oversee the team which will have the best trainers found in North America. As you know jumping is my passion and I hope to create this team to build a legacy of winning and pride for Alberta." The group took a breath as Amy and Ty absorbed what the prince had said.
After a few moments Amy again took the lead. "Well we will consider this along with the other offers the girls are receiving. But to be honest, we don't trust you. You have proven time and time again that you are deceptive and not always forthright. That will be considered as we look over the girl's options." Before he could say anything she continued, "Now my husband and I have six very important children to us waiting for us to enjoy a family picnic. With all due respect we need to go. Whatever we decide we will let you know." In typical Ahmed fashioned he added, "Amy look how I helped you grow, I want to do the same for your daughters. The notoriety your family will gain will be invaluable." Ty was ready to lay into him but Amy put his arm around his waist whispering in his ear, "I got this. See Ahmed, this is exactly what I mean. You don't know when to step back. You did impact my life but not in a good way. You tried to seduce me with money and glamour saying in front of my fiancé that you loved me. The opportunity you have presented is interesting and worth considering, especially since you will not be involved. Don't ruin your chance by telling how much you have helped me. We have built a loving life in spite of you because we were smart enough to look past your pettiness and move forward." She chuckled, "In fact you made our love stronger and for that I have to say thank you. Without your devious attempts of luring me away from the love of my life we would never be where we are today." Ty finally spoke to the overwhelmed king and his aide. "We are leaving and will get back to you with our decision." The group walked out quietly and Amy and Ty remounted their horses and headed out to see their kids. As Ahmed watched they cantered away after a kiss holding hands. He glared as they rode away and said to Samuel, "These girls will be on our team, you need to make sure of it. She is still so beautiful." Samuel looked at him with concern realizing there would be no good ending to this.
After the trail opened up, Amy and Ty took off in a full gallop to meet the kids. As they approached Amy yelled, "I'm the winner as usual" and the kids laughed. They hopped off their horses and he grabbed her kissing her and whispering in her ear, "After watching you with him you are my hero and I love you more than ever. I promise to remember that tonight." She smiled coyly snuggling him as Maddie squawked, "Come on you two we are hungry, what took so long and what is up with that guy showing up like that?" Lyndy added, "Yea what was that all about, what did he want. You both seemed a little on edge." Ty calmed them down, "He just wanted to talk about his jumping team. They are interested in the two of you for their team." Annie and Maddie both said cool at the same time. Amy continued, "Nothing is for sure but it is not the time to discuss now, JT is hungry and so am I." The kids had already laid out the blankets, tied off the horses after a drink and the group got all of the food out. The group chatter was happy and lively enjoying simple sandwiches, chips and drinks. A lot of stories and conversations covered school, work, friends and family. Maddie spoke up, "Gwen, Sylvia and Trudy are really excited about the competition coming up two weeks from today. And they have been doing great in practice. I think we have 14 competitors, it is going to be great. Do you think if they want to they can stay for the company picnic and rodeo." Amy smiled, "Of course they can just find out how many and let us know so we can have enough food." During lunch Lyndy continued to watch her parents not believing her story about the visitors. She whispered to Wyatt, "Something is up and I am going to find out." He smiled knowing without a doubt that she would. Amy noticed the two of them and whispered to Ty, "That girl knows that something is up, it is so hard to keep her in the dark. We have to figure out how to handle this. His offer is good but I just can't get my head around it." Ty smiled and quietly answered, "I know and I don't want the girls to miss out on an opportunity. Let's wait to see what the others have to say and decide then." Amy looked at Lyndy as they finished their conversation and smiled.
The family headed home and after a light and fun dinner everyone went to bed early. It was back to school and work. There would also be a lot of time spent preparing for the competition and the company picnic rodeo The jumping competition would be in the outdoor arena at 10:00am and be concluded before lunch. The staff and families were told to arrive any time after noon as a BBQ buffet lunch would be served at 1:00 and the rodeo, held in the same arena would start at 2:00ish. Parking would be available in the pasture behind the barn so all of the horses were moved. Every business would be closed including Maggie's and the Vet Clinic at noon so everyone could attend. Several of the college kids doing their clinicals offered to stay with the animals at Heartland, the Vet Clinic and Fairfield. One of the program kids who worked with Jenn Stillman was on call for any of the borders at both the Dude Ranch and Fairfield. The rest of the program kids would handle food distribution to the buffet line. Even some of the Day Care volunteers offered to watch the many young children for the more that appreciative new parents. Rosey, Nate and Beau would be cared for but close enough if a parent was needed. The staff was overwhelmed with the effort to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the event. Jack and Tim pulled some favors from old Rodeo friends to handle the announcing, judging and general logistical needs. The staff would help converting the arena from a jumping course to a rodeo but other than that were able to enjoy everything with their families. With everyone on staff, their families and other guest the list was well over 200. The next two weeks were filled with excitement and a lot of banter between the rodeo contestants. Rumor was that many of the staff and family would also be attending the jumping competition to show their support for the special children competing. It made Jack, Lisa and the rest of the Board feel proud about the commitment and family feeling the entire organization had.
As Ty and Amy laid in silence, Ty spoke up, "Ok horsey girl spill." She smiled rolling onto his shoulder and circling his chest with her finger. "I don't know. Ty seeing him again really unnerved me. He did so much damage to us, he almost ended us. Can we really consider his offer?" He smiled, "Trust me that last person I want back in our life is him. But I do disagree with one thing you said. He didn't end us, he made us stronger as a couple. From the day we talked at the gazebo our new life began and look where we are now." She rolled over and kissed him on the lips moving her hand to his manhood. "I think you owe me from the whooping you took today on our ride to the picnic. He smiled lustily, "Do what you want to me Mrs. Borden." She took his prompt and remove his boxers and her pajamas. She straddled him and moved herself stimulating him in the ways he loved. She bent down to kiss him like the night at the gazebo and moved up and down his body as he shuddered at her touch. His moans aroused her even more as she brought him pleasure only she could deliver. He snuck his hand between her legs and marveled at how wet she was. He smiled as he moved his fingers, her moans telling him he was doing it right. He whispered, "Amy you are so wet." She sighed, "All for you my love." They continued on for a while until the joined as one in their love making. After what happened earlier in the day, tonight was just about them and their undying love for each other. The passion they shared assured both of them that the life they had was a blessing and perfect. The laid side by side quietly and fell asleep in each other's arms, as content as they had ever been.
It was the morning of the event and the Borden's were fired up. Breakfast was a blur as the kids headed off to the arena to help get ready. Gwen and Sylvia had spent the night with Maddie so they were on top of the world. Maddie made it her mission to great every jumping contestant and their families. Addie, Annie and Lyndy helped with the greetings as Clay and Wyatt showed them the staging area for their horses. The Borden girls and Katie helped Gwen, Sylvia and Trudy, who decided to participate, to get their horses ready. It was decided that the jumps would be adjusted for each competitor based on their level of skill. Everyone would be a winner and official times would not be taken publicly although Maddie was going to time them on her own. It was a few minutes before the start as the rodeo announcer began to speak. He announced each contestant along with their horse's name. The crowd enthusiastically applauded each of them as their parents smiled broadly. Amy and Georgie took the microphone, thanking everyone for attending and wishing all of the participants the best of luck. The announcer thanked the Miracle Girl and Olympic Champion for creating this amazing event and for their support of the sport of show jumping. He added, "and It is my understanding that one of the Borden girls and recent Fall Finale Champion, Maddie was instrumental in selling this idea to the Board of the Heartland Equestrian Experience and along with her sisters and cousin did all of the leg work to get us to what we are about to experience today. I would like all of these individuals to come to the front of the booth so we can recognize them. Ty and Amy grabbed, the girls, JT, Wyatt, Katie and Clay so they could be recognized and a resounding applause came from the larger than expected crowd. Unknown to them was the fact that there were several news teams there as well. This evert had drawn a lot of attention and the story would be fully reported in Calgary and throughout the Alberta. The final picture taken was Maddie with all the contestants. It was one that would be shared for generations in the proud family.
The competition began as the announcer introduced and brought each participant to the line. It was treated like a full-blown competition and the kids were loving every minute. Amy watched with Ty by their side, both beaming with pride. Gwen, Sylvia and Trudy all had great runs in fact everyone did. There were cheers for each contestant and the most heart-warming thing was how they cheered for each other. The competition was a win for everyone as each child was a winner. Amy looked over to the parents section as tears were evident with every one of the proud moms and dads. She whispered to Ty, "Look at them, it really puts things in perspective. Those kids are having the time of their life and our kids and the other helpers are having a blast as well." She gathered herself as a tear came to her eye, "Look at our little girl, she is amazing in how she interacts with each of these kids. She is an angel that god has sent to help others. I just can't believe how wonderful this is." She looked up to Ty and saw him tearing up as well. They leaned into each other watching the session end and all of the riders received a red ribbon for 1st place. It was officially called a tie for all contestants and they all smiled and laughed with each other. The announcer turned it over to Lisa and on behalf of the Board she congratulated all of the victors and their families. She also invited them to stay for the BBQ and company rodeo. None of the parents could tear their kids away and everyone stayed. There was a very quick Q&A with Lisa, Amy, Georgie, Lou and Maddie with the press corps. The respectfully asked about the concept, what it took to pull it off and if this would be an annual event. Maddie jumped in and assured them that the 2nd annual event would be held again next year and she hoped it would be even bigger and better. In her usual excitable tone she ended with an invite, "And I hope you all can stick around for some BBQ and our rodeo. It is going to be awesome." Lou looked wide eyed and quickly sent a text to Marnie to bring some additional food for the buffet. The Q&A ended and they all went to get ready for the BBQ and rodeo.
With everyone pitching in the arena was converted to a rodeo layout. There would be three events, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Saddle Bronc Riding. Many of the ranch hands had entered all three and others were doing one or two. As a treat Jack and Tim agreed to do the team roping. In addition Caleb and Amy were signed up for the Team Roping event. It was going to be a fun low-key event but there was some definite bragging going on among the staff. But Caleb and Amy put the word out that they didn't want anyone to get hurt. The large tent had been put up just outside the arena so people could come and go. Lunch had begun and after some brief announcements from Lisa as the Chairman of the Board everyone began to enjoy the picnic style lunch. Besides the tables inside the tent other areas had tables and chairs set up as the weather was perfect. Rather than a formal presentation the Board members made the rounds greeting their staff and families thanking them for their efforts in making the organization successful. Amy and Ty made a special trip to see all of the families of the competition that morning and thanked them for being a part of their celebration. Trudy's mom spoke up in the group, "Amy and Ty what you have done for our kids is amazing and we are all very blessed to have you and your family as friends. I have to say that your daughter Maddie is one of the most special young girls we have ever met. All of our kids adore her and watching her interact with them, well it warms all of our hearts. All of your kids and family are amazing but she is the most caring and kind young lady we have ever met. Thank you." Amy and Ty blushed and thanked them. Amy spoke up, "It is our privilege to help where we can and Maddie is quite a young lady. She is a pistol for sure but I will say her intentions are always pure and thoughtful of others. We are proud of her and all of our children. As you know as parents we do everything we can to raise them the right way. You don't' know how much Ty and I appreciate your comments, thank you." The group stood up and each of the mothers hugged both Amy and Ty. The fathers added handshakes and thank yous as well.
The BBQ was nearing the end but the Board committed that snacks and drinks would be available all afternoon. Amy and Ty were sitting with Lou, Scott, Jack, Lisa, Tim, Casey, Georgie and Steven. Lou broke the ice, "So I hear the Prince is back, oh sorry the King." Everyone was shocked and stopped eating as Amy put her fork down and responded. "Wow Lou way to get right to the point. Yes we did see him when he came with his lackey to ask if we would consider letting Maddie and Annie jump for his new competitive team. It seems he bought Hillside Farms and is forming a competitive jumping team that will compete in Canada, the NW US and one event overseas. Samuel, the person that approached us at the Fall Finale, will be managing Hillside and the team. Ahmed will only come visit from time to time. He was his usual indignant, arrogant self. He called me Amy Fleming more than once, but my man here set him straight. We rubbed it in making sure we held each other close and kissed a few times." Ty laughed, "That was fun but we don't feel good about it. I think he still has a thing for you Amy and I will make sure I keep my eye on him, you can bank on that." Georgie laughed, "Whoa there stud, look at you all macho protective." Scott agreed, "I know he is such a catch Amy." They all laughed trying to bring a little levity. Jack spoke up, "So you two what are you going to do about the King?" Amy responded, "Well the idea of them being part of a competitive team or having an opportunity to improve on their skills is inviting. Of course the girls have to be on board. Remember when Lyndy made her decision about Goddard, we made sure it was what she wanted to do. This team would really help the girls move to another level but they have to agree. We have heard form a few others so once we have everything we will sit down with them." As they were chatting on the porch a familiar black SUV pulled up the driveway. Amy and Ty looked in disbelief as Samuel stepped out if the passenger door. Ty jumped up ready to handle this. Jack calmly stood up and got Tim's attention. He put his arm on Ty's shoulder and said, "We got this." They all sat and watched the two elder members of family approaching Samuel as each of them shook his hand. A conversation ensued, Jack controlled and Tim animated. Several times Samuel tried to speak but was hushed by the two rodeo cowboys, who towered over him. He timidly got back into the SUV as the two men headed back to the porch chuckling and whispering to each other. They sat down and grabbed their coffees. Amy couldn't wait and asked, "What just happened?" Tim smiled and looked at Jack. "Samuel will be waiting to hear from you and won't be here again unless invited." The others sat silent as Tim and Jack went back to their coffees.
After that excitement, the crowd began heading into the arena for the company Rodeo. They had rented some additional bleachers and were glad they did as they were filled to capacity. The competitors were preparing in the barn and the volunteers set for the Team Roping session. Lisa opened up the rodeo with some comments, "Welcome to the first of many company rodeos and thank you for being here. We hope the competition is spirited and fun for all the cowboys. I have to say that when Jack and Tim rope that steer make sure you all are nice to them." Everyone laughed. "And make sure you pay special attention to Caleb and Amy who will be renewing their past Team Roping success." Again the group laughed, hooting and hollering. She continued, "We are all partners in this organization and without you we would not be moving forward as we are. The future is bright as the Board has been working on several amazing projects and changes that will only make us better. As always we need to hear from you. Don't be a silent partner, be an active one." Everyone applauded and the non-staff visitors were impressed with the positive atmosphere of the group. The announcer thanked Lisa and welcomed everyone to the First Annual Heartland Equestrian Expereince Company Rodeo. He went over the events in the order they would occur and thanked all the judges and volunteers who set up everything up. As they were ready to start the crowd was excited looking forward to the competitive event. There had been a lot of ribbing and even a few side bets going on so the ranch hands and other competitors were highly engaged. The first team was ready to begin and it was quite a pair. The announcer began, "Well folks we have quite a treat for you. Our first team are Rodao legends, Jack Bartlett and Tim Fleming. Just to be clear they were offered walkers to compete but they said they were good to go. On a serious note these two cowboys hold almost every Albertan Rodeo Record to date. Tim was a four time All Around Champion and Jack has records in several skills that still stand to this day. Everyone give a round of applause for these to Hall of Famers." The steer was in the chute and Jack nodded for it to be released. As the steer bolted out Jack and Tim accelerated quickly. Jack was the header and quickly had the rope set on the steer. Tim was close behind and hooked onto the rear legs. When the bell sounded they had finished in just under 11 seconds, a great score for even younger competitors. The fans exploded in applause as the two cowboys tipped their hat to the crowd. The announcer stepped in, "Well folks there in nothing to say, we have just witnessed excellence."
The rest of the Steer Roping teams finished their runs with Amy and Caleb going last. They had a great run and actually beat Jack and Tim by a half a second. Caleb laughed as he ribbed Tim incessantly. The competition was very close but in the end Rusty and his partner had the best time and amazing time of 6.8 seconds. Rusty was on top of the world as he had been the most active in razzing the others. During the break, the volunteers converted the arena for the Steer Wrestling competition. This was a more physical event and there were only 10 competitors, all ranch hands from Heartland and The Miracle Ranch. Caleb was considering it until Cass reminded him, You have two children and a wife that needs you, so no way are you jumping on a steer or ride a bronc." Amy laughed as she heard the interaction. "Stand firm Cass, these cowboys don't always think with their heads. And you aren't just some buckle bunny, you married him." Cass laughed as they high fived each other leaving Caleb dejected. During the break people moved to the tent for drinks and snacks. Tim and Jack smiled a lot as many people told them how amazing it was to see them together, true legends in rodeo lore. The mood was extremely happy as the employees and their family went out of the way to talk to any member of the Board they would run into. Lou smiled as she went over to Amy, "This is a perfect event and we need to do this every year. I have been thanked 20 times even by some of the youth program kids who are volunteering. Who would think that the two Fleming girls would be part of such and amazing company." Amy smiled at her hugging her waist and said, "I know it is just perfect. And the most important thing is that we get to work with our amazing husbands and kids. I could never have imagined this whole thing happening." They smiled again and hugged each other as Amy added, "Also watching Dad and Grandpa, I thought I was going to lose it. I looked around and saw a lot of people with tears in their eyes, even Ty." They laughed and headed into the arena as the next session was about to begin.
As Amy sat down her little man came running to her. She smiled bringing him into her lap, "Hey big guy where have you been?" He smiled, "I have been hanging with GG helping him get ready for his roping run with Grandpa. It was so awesome watching them. I saw you tearing up, and dad too. I am never going to forget it." Amy did all she could to compose herself but then joked, "Well how do you think I did?" He thought for a moment, "You were great to but I think Caleb slowed you down." She laughed as he kissed her cheek and ran off to find Ben, Brey, Dax and Billy. They were getting ready to watch the next session together, sitting by Jack and Tim. The Steer Wrestling competition was very competitive as it seemed several of the ranch hands had rodeo experience and the event was a strength. Two competitors ended up tied so that had a playoff to determine the winner. Rusty again was one of the two cowboys standing but a slight slip off his horse causes him to receive a 5 second penalty assuring the victory to the other cowboy who was from Heartland. So, after two sessions the two ranches were tied. The banter as they waited for the Bronc Riding session escalated to a fever pitch. Active conversations were going on everywhere. Caleb and Clay had a side bet on which ranch would win and they were all over each other badgering aggressively. Everyone was excited as the last session had 6 competitors from each ranch. Rusty again was one of the favorites and a hand named Chet from Heartland was actually a former Bronc Riding champion. Tension was high as the session began. Jack and Tim sat with their band of boys talking to them explaining the ins and outs of what makes a great Bronc Rider. Everyone was on the edge of their seats as each rider took their turn. Rusty's ride was impressive and to that point he was leading. Two riders later Chet matched his time to the second and again there was a tie. So a ride off was going to happen after a short break. Wyatt and Lyndy noticed that Rusty was on the phone texting someone and smiling. She walked over and peaked on his phone smiling, "So Rusty are you texting Haley Trudeau, what's up with that." He smiled, "I stay in touch with her and she was asking how I was doing. She also told me she is coming to visit during fall break. And I kind of went to see her over the summer a couple of times. She wished me luck." Lyndy smiled as Rusty blushed as Wyatt said, "Dude they are calling you guys, go make your woman proud."
It seemed her words made Rusty step up and he won the competition besting his opponent by 2 seconds. Everyone applauded widely especially the Miracle Ranch team who proclaimed victory. The announcer announced the final times for all three events and there was an award ceremony. He brought up all of the contestants so everyone could be recognized. The Board joined them all on the field and Lisa closed out the rodeo and the day. "This has been a great and long day. Again I want to thank all of the volunteers and competitors in both of our events today. Everyone be safe driving home see you at work tomorrow." The crowd dispersed and headed home. Some final hugs and thank yous were given. They decided to wait and to clean up tomorrow. The volunteers had already cleared up the arena and the food was taken care of. The very tired Bordens headed to the house. Dinner would be light and be mostly leftovers from the day. At the dinner table Ty joked, "I hope you guys stay awake long enough to eat something." They all smiled weakly and ate in silence outside of comments about how amazing the day was. After they cleaned up everyone headed to bed. Amy and Ty made the rounds hugging and kissing their kids a little extra tonight. They thanked each one of them for their help, especially Maddie for all of the work for the morning jumping competition. She could barely stay awake and smiled hugging them both. As they got to their room both of them were exhausted. They got ready and laid next to each other quietly. Amy found the energy to speak, "I don't think I could be any more tired but today was just wonderful. I have never been thanked more in my life. And the kids, they were so amazing and involved." Ty laughed, "And we won." Amy laughed and kissed his cheek, "We need to talk to the kids about the training sites and Ahmed's team. Where are you with it right now?" He nuzzled her neck, "Well I say we get all the kids together, talk through the options and let Maddie and Annie decide with input from the other kids. I think they would appreciate the family support." Amy kissed his lips and whispered, "Sound like a family meeting after dinner. Now, Dr. Borden, the Miracle Girl needs a little lovin."
To say the next morning was a challenge was an understatement. The kids sluggishly got off to school and Amy had two new horses coming with Ty and Steven having a challenging surgery. Before they got started, Amy and Ty decided to have a pizza night for dinner so they could sit, eat and talk about the options for their two Fall Finale winners. At lunch Amy and Ty narrowed it down to two high profile schools and the jumping team from Hillside. Amy asked, "So Ty you are Ok with the Hillside team?" He smiled, "Amy remember what you have always said, it's all about the horse, Well this is all about the girls and what is best, if anything." She hugged him as they began a little make out session until interrupted by Steven, "Uhm sorry Ty, our surgery is ready to start." They pulled apart laughed and went on their way. Ty and Amy were waiting for the kids when they got home and told them about dinner plans. After they got their chores done they were sitting at the table doing their homework. Amy walked in and let them know the pizza would be there in 20 minutes. Annie looked at her and asked, "Mom is everything Ok you seem to have something on your mind." She smiled, "All good we just need to talk to you all about something." As they sat down to eat the kids were nervous thinking something bad had happened. Ty laughed, "Chill out you guys this is not a bad family meeting, actually it is good." Amy spent some time between bites talking about the fact they were approached from several schools and a jumping team about trying to get Maddie and Annie to become a part of their programs. She described the three options, passing around brochures from the two schools, one in Calgary and the other in Okotoks. Maddie asked, "What about the jumping team, no information about it?" Ty and Amy hesitated and talked about Samuel, and the King visiting them to ask that they both consider joining the team. They talked about the competitions including the one overseas. Lyndy could tell that her mom was struggling and interrupted, "Wait, mom is this king that Ahmed guy that caused such trouble between you guys." Amy and Ty didn't need to answer as their faces told the family it was the same person. Maddie and Annie immediately went to their parents as the others looked on. Annie spoke first, "Mom and dad, we don't care how amazing this is but there is no way in the world we want anything to do with him. He is a royal pain in the butt and we would never want the two of you to go through that again." Maddie looked sternly, "That stupid idiot, no way will we compete for him, in fact I can't wait to compete against his team and whoop them." Before Ty or Amy could speak Addie stepped in, "Mom, dad there is no need for any more discussion. In fact can Annie, Maddie, Lyndy and I will tell this Samuel guy we are not interested. I think we would love that." Amy and Ty smiled and thanked their amazing kids. JT added, Don't worry Wyatt and I will go to and make sure they are safe from that loser." Amy and Ty were overwhelmed as the family hugged. They felt so relieved and lucky to have such confident and caring children.
