Chapter One Hundred-Two

The New Driver, School Updates

A/N – Well good to see again that Ahmed had been dispersed. I really had fun with some of the comments of the kids. I hope is to show their different personalities and to be frank, attitudes moving forward. Amy and Lyndy's trip was also very important to me as well. Their relationship has always been strong but I think now it has really grown. The discussion about love is a testament to these two and I am trying to show you that Lyndy is definitely a very special young lady. I plan in this chapter to calm things down a bit updating you all on how school is going for the kids, work for the parents and of course those driving lessons. A part of that will include the continuing development of Wyatt and Ty's relationship, which is very important to the Borden clan. I am still developing stories for the remainder of the year, so I more than welcome to your ideas. Thanks for the continuing great feedback. Enjoy!

Review Follow Up - I wanted to respond to a review I received since I can't respond to it directly. There was concern that I brought the Prince back and then let the kids decide and take the initiative to tell him no by themselves. As I raised my kids I always felt their opinion was valued and I am confident it built self-confidence. The reviewer also felt that Amy still felt something for him. I can assure anyone who reads this that in no way does she have anything but revulsion for him. Letting her kids handle it was the right thing to do from my perspective and most importantly it showed how much they love and want to protect their parents. And Clay and Katie were there as a buffer and that seemed to work out fine. I am not fond of Ahmed also and in the TV show I think he did impact her adversely for a short period of time. Keep in mind it is just a story and this idea actual came from another story concept someone gave me. It's all good and Ahmed will not return. Peace Out!

Ty sat at the dinner table watching one night as his family interacted with love and chaos. After the turmoil of Ahmed and excitement about Amy and Lyndy's trip things had calmed down and everyone was engaged in what could be considered normalcy. Maddie was going on and on about school and how much she was enjoying her classes and teachers. Annie and Addie were still joking about the meeting with Samuel and Ahmed, the story growing in detail each time they spoke of it. Annie also mentioned about a really cool science experiment they did that day dropping Mentos into a bottle of soda and watching it shoot up like a fountain. JT laughed, "We should have done that when we were with that stupid king guy." Amy looked at him sternly, "JT I don't like that word." He held his head down, "Sorry mommy, but he is." The table giggled and even Amy had trouble hiding her smile. Addie was talking to Wyatt about driving and told him she would love to help him pick out a car. As a part of his grandma's estate, money was set aside for him to purchase a car when he started driving. She laughed, "Maybe you can find an old truck like dad's, I would love to help restore it" He smiled and said, "Well I definitely want a truck but I don't know how much money I have. And I do need to take my lessons and actually pass the test." He looked at Ty and asked, "So when do we start." Ty laughed, "Maybe we can start Sunday morning. I want the roads to be clear." Again everyone laughed joking with Wyatt. Lyndy smiled, "I can't wait to go on our first car date, that will be so great." Amy looked at her, "I sure can." Lyndy continued to talk about the weekend with her mom and how much fun they had. "We got to see a lot of really beautiful things and the exhibition performance was awesome. And a really cool thing was that the company made a donation for the foundation we were raising money for. The Dean made mention of it and thanked mom, it was great." Ty was amazed that when she talked the other kids looked on with interest, with no signs of jealousy just, genuine interest. Not being shortchanged JT talked in a lively tone about the upcoming field trip to the Calgary Zoo. Like every Borden he loved animals. Wyatt had to ask, "So buddy what are your favorite animals?" JT thought for a second, "I like the tigers, penguins, zebras, giraffes, gorillas…Ok I guess I like all of them." Everyone laughed again. Annie noticed that her dad seemed quiet and spoke up, "So daddy what is up with you. Any cool surgeries or horse issues?" He smiled and caught Amy's eyes looking at her lovingly, "Well it has been pretty busy but my favorite time is being here listening to you." His eyes misted, "Sitting here listening to you guys is the most important part of my week. He smiled at Amy again as she knew exactly how he felt. For Ty, a life like this was the farthest thing from him his mind when he first came to Heartland. He couldn't be happier than he was at that moment.

The rest of the week went well, in fact that lack of extra stuff was refreshing for the entire family. At Sunday morning breakfast the talk was about Wyatt's first driving lesson. Clay had already gotten him use to the operation of his truck and even let him drive a little on the farm property. Wyatt had aced the test for his permit and was excited about learning. Ty and Amy let him know that once he got his license they would take him out to find a truck with the amount of money they had for him. Georgie joked with him one morning when he was helping her with a horse, "Don't let Tim help you, it was a disaster for me. Ty will be much better." He smiled and quietly said, "I know I am really looking forward to spending time with Lyndy's dad." She whispered into his ear, "Ty is an awesome teacher and I know how you feel about him. I have always felt the same way since my father really has dropped off the radar." He smiled and gave her a light hug. From across the yard they heard Lyndy, standing with Annie and Addie, "Hey Georgie, you hitting on my boyfriend?" She laughed, "Maybe he is kind of hot!" Wyatt blushed, the girls laughed and they went about their business. As breakfast ended Maddie, Annie and Addie offered to clean up so Wyatt and their dad could get started. Wyatt, Lyndy and Ty walked out and headed to the smaller SUV. Lyndy pulled out her phone and started taking a video of the event. Wyatt looked at her confused, "Are you kidding me, you are going to video this." Ty laughed, "Honey make sure you get my good side." Wyatt whined, "Ok you two enough of this." After a little more ribbing, Lyndy kissed his cheek and wished him good luck. They walked up to the SUV and Ty tossed him the keys. "I understand that Clay had taken a little time with you already, so you just want to have at it?" Wyatt smiled, got in the car, adjusted the seat and mirrors and started the engine. He pulled out of the parking place and headed out the ranch road to the County Road. Ty sat silently smiling periodically as he would look over. As he turned onto the road that led to Hudson he finally broke the silence. "It is Ok if we go into town, maybe get a coffee at Maggie's?" Ty smiled, "Sure you're driving, whatever you want." He smiled and continued, "And by the way you are doing great, just make sure you always think ahead of what is in front of you. Driving a motorcycle has taught me that a good driver always thinks ahead, anticipating what is going on in front of them. That is a skill you will develop but when you first start driving you need to focus on it." Wyatt smiled, it was a good decision to ask Ty to teach him.

They pulled up to Maggie's and Wyatt saw two of his buddies. He got out smiling and greeted them. One of them spoke up, "Sweet Wyatt, looking forward to cruising with you when you get your wheels." Wyatt glanced at Ty and he just smiled answering them, "Well maybe not right away." They laughed and went into the diner for their coffee and maybe a donut. When the walked in to find a seat, Lou yelled over, "Oh, Oh another young driver on the streets." They laughed as she brought two coffees and a sampling of donuts for them. Ty went to grab his wallet and she held up her hand, "No way it is on me, celebrating your first driving lesson." She leaned over and gave him a quick hug reminding him he had a great teacher. They sat quietly for a few seconds when Wyatt's look turned serious. "Ty, um dad, thanks for helping me learn how to drive. And I am really excited about learning to drive Old Blue. That is the coolest truck ever and I know what it means to the two of you. You and Amy have been amazing to me and I kind of pinch myself because I am so lucky. To have you guys, the other kids and Lyndy in my life is something I never dreamed of. When my parents died I was young but knew what was going on. I knew I was alone but thank goodness, my grandma stepped in. She was amazing and kept me out of the foster care system, kind of like you did. I miss my mom and dad but it was a long time ago but when my grandma died I was so scared and lonely. Everyone important to me was gone, but then I found you guys. You took me in as one of your own and I will never be able to repay you for that." He hesitated and Ty spoke up, "Wyatt you are very important to Amy and I. We took you in because we care for you and you are a fine young man. JT adores you and your bond with him is amazing. The other girls really like you as well and Lyndy, she looks at you the way Amy and I use to look at each other. She cares deeply for you and I know what those Borden women can do to us helpless men." They laughed as Wyatt looked at him directly, "I really do truly love her sir. She is the most amazing person I have ever known. Once when we were visiting my grandma she looked at Lyndy and told her that she knew that my grandpa would be her husband when she was 12 years old. Now don't freak out, that is no concern for you but she means everything to me. Kind of the way I see you feel about Amy, you two are the benchmark of true love." The chuckled as Ty put his arm on his shoulder, "We better head back, I expect the girls are wondering where we are." The finished up and headed home to what they expected would be a lot of questions.

As Wyatt turned down the drive, Lyndy saw them first and yelled over to her mom, "Mom their back." They each tied off the horse they were with and jogged over to the house. The other girls were in the house with JT preparing sandwiches for lunch as they saw the SUV pulling in as well. They as well headed out to the porch. Amy and Lyndy met them with hugs as they got out of the car. Amy smiled and kissed her man as Lyndy hugged Wyatt asking how things went. He looked at Ty as he responded, "Wyatt did great, we went all the way into Hudson, had a coffee at Maggie's that Lou gave us for free and then headed back." Amy looked confused, "You were sure gone a long time?" Wyatt blushed, "Well Ty and I had a good talk as well and kind of lost track of time." Thinking there was more to it Lyndy and Amy let it go as they all went into the house for lunch. The family headed inside and decided to load up their lunch and go on a ride and picnic. As they road to the site they chose, the laughed and joked, specifically picking on Wyatt and his lesson. Maddie started the banter by asking her dad, "Dad are you Ok, do you need a moment, I bet that was challenging." Addie added, "Daddy how many things did he hit?" Annie smirked, "Lyndy, I bet Wyatt looks hot behind the wheel of a car." Everyone continued the barrage him when JT stopped his horse and sternly yelled at everyone, "Stop being mean to Wyatt, I bet he is a great driver so stop making fun of him, it is not nice." He was actually very upset and everyone was a little shocked at his sincerity. After a moment Wyatt rode over to him and pulled him on his lap. "Lyndy can you take Blue Boy, JT and I are going to stay back for a second." Amy and Ty smiled at Wyatt understanding what his plan was. They hopped off the horse and walked a little. JT was still very upset so they went and sat on a log. "So buddy tell me what is going on?" He sniffled, "Why were they being so mean to you, it really made me angry. Sometime those guys are not nice to you and I don't like it." Wyatt pulled him onto his lap, "JT you are my best buddy and thank you for having my back. The girls aren't being mean, they are just giving me some kindhearted trouble. Actually I kind of like it and it makes me feel that they are proud of me." JT looked at him a little puzzled then settled, "I just don't understand you older people, and girls are just crazy." Wyatt laughed, "I definitely agree about the girl thing but they all love us a lot. Let's go catch up with them, I am hungry."

As they caught up they found that the picnic was all set up and all of the horses were grazing nearby. Lyndy smirked, "So did you two have a nice chat?" Wyatt began to say something but then JT spoke confidentiality, "Well we boys need time to ourselves sometimes. You know this is not just a girl family, Wyatt and I are family too." After a little uneasy moment, he burst out in laughter and the others joined him. Ty added, "You tell them son, we men are pretty cool." The three men high fived each other gloating at their proclamation. Maddie laughed, "Calm down boys, us girls will always run this family. Just feel happy that we let you be a part of it." Agan the family broke out in laughter, as Ty and Amy hugged each other's waist and smiled at this crazy bunch of kids. The rest of the picnic went well and Lyndy was able to get some time with Wyatt. She finally got him to talk about the lesson and what they talked about. It was vague but she smiled as she realized how much her dad meant to him. She silently also realized how much her dad meant to her as well, especially in how he befriended the love of her life. Wyatt lost a father figure at a very young boy and she felt warm inside feeling her love for both of them. They headed back to the farm and spent a little extra time with the horses getting them ready for the night. Dinner conversation was all about parent/teacher meetings the upcoming week. Amy and Ty would be busy spending Tuesday at the elementary school, Wednesday at middle school and then finally Thursday at Hudson High. The kids spent a little time filling them in on what might be talked about but Amy and TY had no doubt the week would be a reminder of the great group of children they had. Everyone cleaned up, got their stuff ready for the week and headed up to bed. Wyatt knocked on Lyndy's door to have their nightly conversation. Lyndy couldn't hold back and asked, "Ok, you have to let me know what you and JT talked about, he was really upset as were we." Wyatt smiled, "I just wanted to let him know that the ribbing was all in fun. In fact, I told him that it shows how much we are both loved and that he should never doubt that." He hesitated, "I also told him that I am his brother and anytime he needs any male time to come to me." Lyndy's eyes misted up and she hugged him tightly. She whispered, "That's so wonderful, you are a keeper for sure Wyatt." They pulled back about to kiss as there was a knock on the door. The separated, both flush in the moment as Amy and Ty came in. Immediately mother's intuition told Amy they had walked in on a moment. She smiled, Is everything Ok you guys?" Lyndy smiled, "Sorry Wyatt just told me what he and JT had talked about and we kind of got caught up in the moment. I told him how amazing he was with JT and how much the little guy looks up to him." Ty smiled, "Mom and I see it every day. Wyatt you are special to him and are truly his brother. Having you has been very rewarding for us as well and we are so happy you are a part of our family." Amy added, "And you are a pretty good boyfriend to our daughter, heck even Maddie likes you." Lyndy and Wyatt's blushes increased and Lyndy hugged her mom and dad tightly. Amy then opened his arms to Wyatt and hugged him as well. The two women watched as Ty and Wyatt hugged as Ty spoke, "You are a great man, son. We are so happy that you are a part of this family." Tears came to everyone's eyes as they embraced one more time. Ty stepped back, "Now it is time for bed, we all have a big week and don't forget 10 minutes." They all laughed as Amy and Ty headed off to their bedroom.

After the kids got off to school Amy and Ty went to the office to get ready for the day. It would be a busy week, especially since the had three nights of parent/teacher meetings to get to. They were on their computers looking at the week. Amy had six new horses just for her. Amazingly that week they had 13 horses coming but as always there were some that only she could evaluate either by request of the owner or the level of need. Georgie, Katie, Lyndy with Wyatt and Rusty would handle the others and any that Amy evaluated that she felt they could handle. Ty, Steven and Cass had all the check-in medical work scheduled for the new horses and also met every Monday morning to go over the surgeries for the week. It was a normal week and for a couple they were going to bring Ellie and Mandy out for them. There was a rather difficult one that Ty and Scott would be doing but the others if available would be observing. Ellie and Cass continued to do a great job with the colleges kids, Caleb and Rusty had the ranch hands in order and Clay with Katie were still overseeing the youth group kids and doing a great job. It was definitely a well-oiled machine and would be needed this week for sure. At lunch, Amy and Ty met back at the house for lunch and some time together. They enjoyed their conversations and a little making out, with no concern for interruption. The afternoon went well and Ty and Amy waited patiently for their kids on the porch. Sometimes scheduled didn't allow them to do it every day but on this day they sat holding hands and smiling as they arrived. The kids rans to them for hugs and kisses, put their bags inside and headed to see their horses. Lyndy and Wyatt went to see the horse they would be working on and met with Georgie to go over the plan. Annie and Addie took care of their horses for them so they could introduce themselves to the feisty mare. After the horses were cared for, group homework began, an activity they expected some of their teachers would inquire about. Dinner was filled with discussions about the kids teachers and what they would talk about. Maddie promised, "You will love Ms. Dalton, she is amazing. She used to live in New York City." JT was very talkative about the team of teachers in his PreK class. "They told me that I can go into Kindergarten next year if you are Ok with it. I hope I can because all of my friends are." After dinner they moved the conversation to the living room and soon after it was time for bed. Amy and Ty were tired as the day was long and the rest of the week would have some long days. They snuggled and kissed each other goodnight very content with their life, their children and each other.

Although the Equine Center was hopping Amy and Ty had a hard stop to see the kids, get some early dinner together and head to the Elementary school, Earlier, Katie was with Amy and asked, "Do you want Clay and I to check on the kids?" Amy smiled, "Well you can always drop by but Lyndy and Wyatt have things in hand." Katie smiled, "No doubt they are great but we like hanging with them and Georgie's kids, kind of like practice." Amy furrowed her brow, "What is up, are you guys thinking about kids?" Katie blushed, "Well we have talked about it. We want to wait a little while longer but not too long, we both want 3-4 kids. I never liked having just one sister, especially one that was so much older." The women smiled and Amy whispered, "Well I think you guys will be great parents. Kids are the ultimate accomplishment as a parent. Ty and I love ours deeply." The hugged slightly and went on their way. Amy and Ty kissed the kids and headed to school. It was bustling, but as parents with older children they knew where to go. Their plan was to meet the JT's teaching team as they had set up a meeting to talk about the little guy's early move to Kindergarten. They waved and said hi to many familiar faces and several asked questions about the older children. The walked into the PreK office to meet with the teaching team and the head of the program. As they sat down the team members greeted them as they were familiar with the Bordens. The Director of the PreK program was new and introduced himself to them. Mr. and Mrs. Borden it is great to finally meet you, actually should I say Dr. Borden and the Miracle Girl." He laughed, "My kids watched the video when they were younger." Ty and Amy smiled as he continued, "Well JT is an exceptional young man for sure. I have spoken to him several times and he is not shy and speaks his mind. But he has an old soul for sure, as he interacts with the teachers and staff with confidence. I have been involved with early education for over 20 years and I have to say he definitely stands out. The other kids, especially his group of buddies, really look up to him. And I have to say he talks often about his GG and how much he means to him." Amy smiled, "Well I think he realizes that my grandpa is older and may not be here forever. It seems that his mission is to spend as much time as he can with him and they are very close. Privately he has told us he is his favorite and they are so cute together." The team lead speak up, "Can you tell us about Wyatt."

Ty now smiled, "Wyatt is a young man that we have taken guardianship of since his parents died when he was young, his grandma just passed and the little family he has lives in the states. So we have taken him into our house raising him as our own child. Now there is a small complication." Another teacher interrupted, "Yes we know that he is Lyndy's boyfriend, JT is so proud of that." They both smiled as Ty continued, "Yes it is a little bizarre but those two are very mature and handle things well considering their rooms are right next to each other. Anyway, JT and Wyatt have become very close. Trust me in a house of all women they need each other for sure. But it is more than that I think. They confide in each other and JT really looks to him for guidance and help. JT has an amazing capacity to love and defend his family and friends. He soaks in everything around him and trust me, with four older sisters and two cousins he is mature well beyond his years. I think Wyatt and Jack, his GG bring a little boy back to him though which he needs." The lead of the teaching team spoke up, "Well scholastically his work is exemplary and well ahead of his age level. Sometimes we have to remember that he will only be five after the first of the year. If you are Ok we want to move him to Kindergarten and stay with this group. Decisions like this are well thought out and obviously your call to make." The Director added, "It is rare to see such a young boy be so composed and confident. Has he talked to you about it?" Amy stated, "Actually at dinner and breakfast this morning, he reminded us again that he wanted to stay with the kids he is with now." Another teacher laughed, "Well there you go, This 4-year-old boy understands not only what is going on but is already politicking to move on. He is definitely as special young man and ready for this both academically and from a maturity standpoint." The team lead continued, "So Amy, Ty what do you think?" They held hands as Amy responded. "Well we understand that he is a great kid and we believe he is ready for the move up in grade. As a parent it excites you and makes you nervous at the same time. Ty and I are good with the move and please don't hesitate to let us know if you see anything that concerns you. We will stay engaged as well along with Wyatt. JT has asked his opinion and he has a stake in this too." They smiled as the lead teacher responded, "We are very pleased and definitely will keep an eye on him. To be honest, we have no concern and think he will flourish." They thanked the teaching team and headed off. It was Maddie time.

They really didn't know what to expect as they entered her class. She had been a little quieter than usual, so as they entered they found several teachers they know and were welcomed. The sat down with her main teacher, Mrs. Dalton and began their discussion. They were joined by the fourth-grade counselor as well as a teacher who they knew Maddie was close with. Her teacher began. "Maddie continues to be a model student, her perceptive skills are extraordinary and she grasps new concepts quickly. Her math and science skills continue to improve and over all academically she is a leader in the class." The other teacher commented, "We heard about the idea and execution of the competition for Gwen and Sylvia. Word spread around the school, especially after the report on the Morning Show. Gwen, Sylvia and the others that competed could not say enough about it and it was hard not to notice the pride that Maddie had. She is such a wonderful girl and cares so much for others." Amy and Ty smiled as Ty added, "That competition meant a lot to her and she got a lot of help from her siblings, other family matters, actually everyone. She seems to have the ability to get support from others rather easily, in short she is persistent and doesn't take no for an answer." They all laughed completely understanding. But then the counselor spoke with a hint of concern, "There is one thing we have seen with her that we want to talk about. There is no doubt, she is an amazing and giving person. But it seems sometimes she is so focused on others she forgets about her needs. It's not a bad thing but something we have seen a lot recently. We have talked and she is such a joy. I asked her what she likes to do and everything she said involved helping others." Amy and Ty sat concerned as she continued, "I wouldn't call this a bad thing but we need to make sure she is doing things just for her. I am sure she feels very fulfilled but that needs to be a self-driven feeling as well." They all took a moment as Amy spoke, "I understand what you are saying and I completely agree and am really happy you brought this to us. I have an idea. I recently took a trip to Vancouver with our oldest daughter for a dance exhibition. Ty, I think we need to do the same for her, we just need to figure where that is." The team thought that was a great idea and committed to keep working with their daughter who was a joy for all of them. Ty and Amy headed home happy with the updates and on a mission to help their youngest daughter.

After a million questions at breakfast, they went through the day and got ready to head to middle school as dinner ended. The faculty made it much easier having all of the teachers for the twins together so they could consolidate their time. Annie and Addie's homeroom teachers, their shared counselor and two other teachers that had multiple classes with them sat as the counselor opened the discussion. "Annie and Addie are wonderful young ladies and are both excelling at their strengths. Annie scientific perceptiveness is well ahead of her age level and the work she has done with the high school program has been eye opening. The teacher who sponsors the program says she is a valuable member of the team and contributes a lot. Also Addie technical capabilities are extremely well-developed and her math skills, especially in calculus are simply astounding. Her ability to look at a problem and solve it through deductive reasoning is a strong skill and something that can take her in many directions. Where Annie skill moves her to a more focused area, Addie's abilities can take her on a lot of different paths. Heck, she could even be an astronaut if she wanted." Ty laughed, I always wanted to be an astronaut, but you should see her rebuild a motorcycle engine. She is something else." Amy added, "I have had several conversations with Annie and she is really interested in research. In fact, my younger daughter has several friends with Downs Syndrome. She said she would love to be on a team that works on reducing the chance of a child being born with it." Annie teacher added, "I can see her wanting to do something like that. She is always questioning things and trying to scientifically break a problem apart and then develop a solution." Another teach changed the discussion a bit. "And that whole twin thing, it is pretty amazing to watch them. They have this way of knowing what is going on with the other all the time and that language thing is pretty cool." As they ended the team committed to continue to challenge each of them and work with them to get the most from their skills. Again Amy and Ty thanked them for their openness and helping their girls maximize their abilities. Their ride home was silent, pleased with the first two nights of meeting the kid's teachers.

The final night at the High School would separate them. As expected Amy would meet with Lyndy's teachers and Ty with Wyatt's. The gave each other a hug and kiss on the cheek as they went on their way. Amy walked into a smiling group of educators including, to her surprise two of her instructors from Goddard. She smiled a little tepidly, "Well this is a pleasant surprise, you came to me." Lyndy's counselor spoke up, "Well since Lyndy is our only shared student we felt that we all needed to sit and discuss that girl of yours. First let me tell you she is an outstanding student even with her adjusted schedule. Since Goddard handles her arts piece of her education, at Hudson we can focused on the other aspects of her needs such as math, science, geography, english and such. It has worked well and we see no need to make any changes and Goddard has worked well with us." She smiled at the Goddard instructors and continued, "The team at Goddard has been amazing to work with. We hope that together we can develop a template for future children like your daughter." Ty was having a great conversation with Wyatt's teachers. It seemed that Wyatt was doing very well in all of his studies with a higher level of capability in science and math. His science teacher spoke up, "Did you know he has interest in veterinary medicine. It seems he wants to emulate you and become a vet. Dr. Borden he is a great kid and thinks very highly of you." Several teachers smiled as they know the backstory of how he and Amy had taken him in when he had no one left to care for him. His counselor continued, "You and Mrs. Borden have really helped him developed into a fine student and member of his class. He is active and well respected by his friends and classmates and we see him always helping others who need him. I have seen him on several occasions sitting with Lyndy at lunch helping one of their friends with schoolwork. He is genuine and excels in all of his studies." Another teacher chuckled, "And those two are quite the couple. When they are together there is a comfortableness between them. When she is gone he seems a little loss but when they are together, well it is nice to see so much respect and care for the other." He smiled and they continued going over his results to date. About a half hour later, Amy and Ty met in the lobby and embraced. Amy smiled, "so our daughter is amazing and they told me that the program she is in is being developed into a template for future students. Ty, she is so respected by the staff here and the Goddard folks couldn't stop talking about her dance skill level." He smiled as they walked to the car. Well Wyatt is also doing extremely well. Did you know he was considering applying to vet school. I was so humbled when they said that. They also told is we had made a very positive impact on his life by taken him in. And the good thing he takes after me with his smartness!" She poked him in the ribs, "Whatever and thank goodness Lyndy has my passion and drive to be the best." They laughed as Amy smiled, "We are both so amazing aren't we?" They headed home sitting close. They were excited about talking with the kids and that fall break was only a few weeks away.
