"Everything good, Stable Rock?" Mitsumi smiled and watched him eat his fifth plate filled with a mountain of food. Anno was helping Orotsu keep up with the massive appetites before them, and they were both discussing coverage for Neutral Grounds during the spa event that was going to take place.
"Very good…!" he chuckled.
"So…how old are you?" Saitama asked after setting his own empty dish aside. "Do you happen to know?"
"Older…than rings…on trees. Over five…thousand…rings…" Stable Rock said and drank down some purified water that Blue Ripple provided in a large bowl. "I know…much. And…something more…"
"Oh?" Kamiko asked from where she sat with Genos.
"An old…tale. Older…than me…" he said with a nod. "A wielder…of elements. One that…can help…monsters…and humans…together."
"Why are you talking about Mitsumi?" Saitama asked.
"What?!" Sweet Mask gaped.
"Think about it. She's helping monsters and humans work together. Then there's the fans she's getting. Those are made of the elements from GOD monsters. Who else would that tale talk about? Speaking of the fans, I need to pull some teeth out soon. We need that done," Saitama said.
"Not just…her…" Stable Rock said calmly. "Your…offspring. They are…made…around us. The elements. She is…the focus. But not…the end. And you…are a mix…of many…things. Your…offspring…may gain…offshoots…of you…in time."
"Is he gonna have GOD-like kids with her? For people?!" Kamikaze asked with shock. Iaian now looked up with his own surprise. The board members were listening in intently on this new information.
"Possibly. I will…have…to think," Stable Rock admitted. "Some things…I simply…don't…know…"
"You have such a pretty shell!" Mitsumi giggled. Stable Rock looked at her and noticed her lightly tracing over a diamond with fiery blue and green shimmers all through it. Tacki had cleaned off his shell, too, so it looked like molten gold inlay was holding everything together. He grinned and focused to let the diamond get pushed out from another diamond of the same type to appear for easy replacing. The massive, sparkling, glittering rock filled her whole hand when she held it up with sheer shock and awe.
"You gave her that?! You can do that?!" Saitama asked with his jaw dropped. "That's…so…awesome!"
"It's raw! I can cut that into something beautiful!" Tacki beamed when she bounced over to study it. "It looks easy to make into a typical diamond, too! Or…oh! Even better! A faceted oval!"
"You can…prepare…rocks?" Stable Rock asked with amusement.
"Yep! I have a blacksmith building that I've been filling up. We plan to have a line of jewelry. Lady Mitsumi did inherit a gem mine, but we still have to explore it to see what all we can get," Tacki said. Stable Rock mused at something and focused to let all of the stones in his shell fall out to be replaced easily. Tacki gasped and shrieked with joy.
"Make those…into…wearable…things. It will be…easy…for me…to detect…and help…" Stable Rock said.
"You're a walking treasure chest!" Saitama said with excitement.
"Wow…" Himiko said from where she sat with Zombieman.
"Mitsumi, you know he has to be my pet, too!" Saitama said. "He can make more treasure for our treasure beds!"
"Darling, I will not sleep on a bed of sharp rocks," Mitsumi said with a small glare at him. "What we have is fine."
"But…treasure! More treasure!" he argued.
"I thought Mitsumi was already a treasure," Bane chuckled.
"Well…yes. You're not wrong. And I would give up everything to keep her with me. But…if I don't have to…" Saitama started before looking at Mitsumi when she sighed at him.
"Love, you can't have your cake and eat it, too. Think about it. If you have your cake and eat it…then you don't have it anymore. Right?" she smiled.
"I've never heard it put into that perspective," Bomb mused.
"He'll get it back when he goes on the toilet," Zenchu said. "Just not in the same form. Or edible…"
"Shut up!" Saitama snapped at him to get the others laughing. When Mitsumi coughed a bit, he blinked and gave all of his attention to her. "Hey. Are you feeling okay? Anything wrong?"
"I'm okay," she said. "I think I just need to eat something."
"You just ate…?" Saitama frowned. Overgrown Rover huffed and jumped into his lap with her to press his hand against her belly again. "Okay. Something's wrong. I need to know. Right now. I need confirmation. I know she's pregnant. I mean, she has to be! What's going on? Tell me!"
"Your power…seethes…within her…" Stable Rock snorted on sniffing her.
"I can help you here," Fire Flight said and walked over. "Saitama, you claim you feel an inner fire within you. You did give some of it to Mitsumi. She does not know how to handle it like you. You train to condition it. She must do the same. To run. Jump. Dance. Of course, only to certain extents until it is obvious that she cannot. You made a dojo. It is time to start using it."
:YOU ARE STALLING, FIRE FLIGHT?:
:YES, BLUE RIPPLE. I MUST. IF HE KNOWS HIS SON IS APPARENT IN HER, HE WILL HAVE A MELTDOWN THAT CAN RIVAL A VOLCANO. HE IS TOO STRESSED OVER THIS. IT WILL BE SAFER FOR HIM TO KNOW TOMORROW WHEN HE IS CALM. HIS EXCITEMENT WILL STRESS MITSUMI. HE NEEDS TO REMAIN CALM.:
:HE IS HAVING A SON?!:
:YES, BRIGHT BOLT. A VERY STRONG SON.:
:HOW DO YOU KNOW?:
:I CAN FEEL THE FIRE WITHIN THE YOUNG ONE GROWING, WIND CRANE. IT IS THE SAME FIRE WITHIN SAITAMA, AND IT IS A VERY MASCULINE SENSATION THAT IS BUILDING.:
Stable Rock was easily listening in to the conversation and sighed with intense thought. He looked at Saitama and knew how to change the topic. "Saitama…listen…to me…"
"Yes?" Saitama frowned.
"Help her…ground…herself. With me. Listen to…me. Do well…and I will…be…your pet…" the earth monster grinned.
"You will?!" Saitama said with a wide grin.
"Yes. And I will…look…at your place…of resting…to see…if I can…add to it…" Stable Rock nodded. "Even…make it…better…"
"Ah…why?!" Mitsumi seemed to groan with despair. Now Stable Rock looked at her and pressed his muzzle into her arms. He mentally whispered to her of his plan. She blinked and found herself blushing slightly before shaking her head and sighing out loud. "I see. Okay. I…suppose. As long as I don't feel anything major cut up into my back."
"Some stones…are smooth. The one that…fixes rocks…can help. Also…the more that…wears…my rocks…the more I can…sense things," Stable Rock said and closed his eyes in comfort at the petting she gave him.
"Are you suggesting that you can do even more if others wear what you give out? Like a bit of a camera to see things?" Metal Knight asked from his hovering robot. "Would the same thing happen if we plant your stones around cities?"
"Hmm…! I never…thought…of that…!" Stable Rock blinked.
"I can break down the stones into small pebbles!" Tacki grinned.
"It will be easy to disperse them and hide them in places," Metal Knight agreed. "Let me know when to help."
"We should set a few around the Hero Association buildings," the first board member said. "Even in every major section of various cities."
"Especially if there are Secret Skins out there recruiting near our buildings," Flashy Flash said and glanced at Iwasaki. He remembered how she was forced into her recruitment.
"Look…" Stable Rock said and nudged at one of the stones in his shell. One of the loose stones from where it was placed before now made an image appear in the stone that was in his shell. Everyone was shocked.
"Your stones are like miniature television receptors! For the stones that broke free! Absolutely amazing!" Metal Knight said with shock from what he was witnessing through his cameras.
"Yes…" Stable Rock nodded. "I can…alter…my shell…to suit…our needs. Easily. I do not…have to have…all…of the stones…do this. But…at will…when needed…I can do…this easily. All parts…of me…still are…me."
"Okay. That's really cool," Saitama grinned. Then he mulled over a thought. "You said you needed to talk to me, though."
"Yes. Privately. Dance now…with…Mitsumi," he grunted and moved off of her to free her. Saitama nodded and rose up with her, but he found himself studying her when she winced lightly.
"Mitsumi…?" he asked carefully.
"I…really need to eat something…" she frowned hard. Inichi was quick to study her thoughts and he reached out to Anno. :She's feeling intense nausea! She needs a ginger cookie, but we cannot let Mr. Saitama know!:
:I have just the thing!: Anno responded and quickly frosted up two cookies. One was a ginger cookie. The other was a decadent chocolate chip cookie. He took the small plate over to them and ensured the regular cookie was presented to Saitama. "Inichi informed me that some sugar may help. Try these?"
"Oh!" Saitama blinked and picked up the chocolate chip cookie. Mitsumi was gently informed mentally of what she was going to have, and she sighed with relief on eating it. He noticed this and smiled softly. "Are you okay now?"
"I think so," she smiled and blushed at his gentle squeeze.
"Inichi, after they dance we need to speak," Wind Crane said after finding a chair with Zenchu. Fubuki found herself a touch giddy with excitement, and Inichi could only chuckle at the thoughts being given over.
"That we shall," Inichi nodded and began to bring out the instruments. He suddenly paused to turn and focus on the eastern part of the walled city limits. "Interesting…"
"Inichi?" Mitsumi frowned.
"Someone is trying to gain entry unannounced," he said with a narrowed glare of mistrust. Blue Ripple crossed his arms over his chest to focus lightly.
"Who is it?" Saitama asked.
"One we encountered before. He attacked us after Lady Mitsumi became S class. And you told him to behave himself," Inichi frowned.
"That one?!" Mitsumi grimaced.
"Who?" Saitama asked. "You may as well bring him in."
"Heh. Gotta love the shock factor," Kamikaze grinned. He saw the blue bubble appear with a familiar man with black hair, glasses and headphones.
"Forte?!" Fubuki asked and sighed with a shake of her head.
"What do you want? Why are you trying to break into my home?" Saitama asked and got right in his face despite the bubble. "Inichi. Drop him."
"I need to change back. Wait until I'm back, please," Blue Ripple said and moved to walk back to the changing booth.
"Change back?" Forte asked with confusion.
"He could have covered himself with scales. Ah, well…" Fire Flight chuckled. "I am quite curious on why you are here, though. If you lie, I shall light the ground ablaze beneath your feet wherever you walk. For an hour."
"You can do that?" Mitsumi asked her with a light smile.
"Of course! It's what I did to many that got too close long ago," she grinned.
"Oh! Can you do that to anyone that gets too close that aren't supposed to be here?" Saitama asked with a wry grin. Fire Flight blinked at that idea.
"I shall scout the home exterior later and expand our territory lines when we expand again," Fire Flight chuckled a touch wickedly. She looked over to see Blue Ripple back in his tub in his monster form. He hovered back to Mitsumi's side to lean up and get the snuggling he was starting to miss.
"This is why you changed back?" Mitsumi smiled softly and hugged his purring muzzle. Blue Ripple sighed with contentment and closed his milk-white eyes. The others around them chuckled and returned their gaze to Forte when he was dropped in front of Saitama.
"I just kept hearing stories from various people. I wanted to check this place out for myself. That's all…" Forte said a touch nervously.
"You shouldn't have to," King snorted and kept Kianna in his lap.
"If there was a problem, it would be reported," the first board member said.
"Who was stating such things?" Sweet Mask asked. Now Forte gaped at the management staff there. Even the important man didn't look pleased.
"Did he see what happened at the desert?" Zenchu asked.
"He was there," Metal Knight confirmed from his hovering robot. "I am reviewing the crowd footage. He saw everything."
"Then why is he here?!" Saitama asked with annoyance. When his body began to project out the red haze of destructive power, Mitsumi gently pressed herself against him to calm him back down. "I'm really getting pissed."
"I know," Mitsumi sighed. Garou looked over at Zenchu with a small grin.
"Why does this happen?! If we open up our home, we get infiltrated. If we close off our home, the same thing happens. I'm getting sick of it!" he growled.
"Darling, you know people get curious. Should we set up signs that there's nothing to see here?" she asked.
"That will make it worse!" he growled again.
"Should you make this one do a lap around your exercise route as a punishment?" she crooned out lightly. Now he mused at the idea. Then he beamed at another idea that hit him.
"That guy that Tacki hates. The one that says I hurt him. Which I did. Can we get him here and have these two do a race?" Saitama grinned wickedly.
"What?!" Forte gaped. "That's just…well…"
"You infiltrated their home. Even though you were brought in, we caught you trying to get in. I think, should he win, he is forgiven. If the other one wins, that one will get two extra days of being a hero. What do you think?" Bane asked the board members. Bomb was already curious on the training route.
"Ugh…" Tacki grimaced.
"We don't have to watch," Kamikaze muttered to her. "You can work in your blacksmith shop and fire off hot coals at the fucker if he gets too close."
"I can do that!" Tacki said. "Hell, I'll do it, anyways! I can build a catapult easily to do just that!"
"Saitama, where is your training ground?" Fire Flight asked. Saitama looked at her and gestured to go up to the roof of the apartment complex. Inichi was able to hover those around him to the top of the complex. Mitsumi never saw the completed training ground yet, and Metal Knight chuckled to show who helped finish it off. Garou was impressed at how well-lit the place was in the dying light of the day, too, from all the flood lights.
"Hmm…" Stable Rock mused. "Can we…make it…harder…?"
"I'd say near the end of the track," Saitama nodded. "The beginning part is for those that need to get used to things. Rest stops, weight benches, aerobics and stuff. But, to fully complete it…eh…what do you have in mind?"
Fire Flight focused to let strips of the road suddenly disappear into a river of lava that snaked through the last half-mile stretch to the beginning run of the track. Blue Ripple snickered and set up for intensely muddy paths to be between each segment. Bright Bolt thought about what he could do and focused on the lights to zap at anyone that sat for too long in one spot unless it was a rest spot.
"This is going to be one hell of a training route…" Kamikaze grinned.
"I don't know if I want to do this…" Iaian grimaced.
"I do not want Charanko here. Can we send him back? This way we will test him later. He has yet to clean up the dojo, anyways," Bane said. Inichi chuckled and ensured the young man was sent back home after being informed that he was no longer needed around.
"Suiryu will need to do this, though," Saitama said.
"What?!" Suiryu grimaced from where he was standing with them.
"You're my disciple. Suck it up," Saitama smirked.
"My turn," Wind Crane grinned. She focused for the wind to gust and blow anyone down right before they reached the end of the track to carry them to the last part of the insane segment. Saitama grinned at this idea. It will force people to move faster before they get wind smacked! Awesome!
"I'm curious now. I should test this at some point…" Saitama mused.
"I think it would be fun if I was on your back when you ran through it," Mitsumi beamed. Overgrown Rover panted and nuzzled into him with excitement.
"Hmm. It would test how I can train with you," Saitama said and caught Garou's eager glance. "We're in performance gear, though. Richoo would have to clean up our clothes after this. So, do we do this and then dance? Or just this and get ready for bed to go to the spa in the morning? What do you want to do?"
"If we plan to watch others try and run through this, we may be able to dance at the spa…" she thought aloud. Saitama nodded at this agreement. "It would definitely be something to do. And I'll be with you, too."
"Okay. We'll stay up here. Eh, you. Yeah. You're going to race. It's your punishment. Got it?" Saitama said to Forte. "You'll see how I do first. Hopefully you'll get some ideas. Maybe."
"Will he have to do the exercises, too?" Zombieman asked.
"Just running. But, if he wants bonus points, he can try," Saitama grinned.
"How will this work?" Mitsumi asked.
"You get on my back. I'll hold my dog. Just like what I did in that tower. Okay? I don't want you to do anything. Just stay on my back," Saitama said.
"Master Saitama, can I race against you? I will also have Kamiko on my back and hold Black Sperm to simulate what you do," Genos grinned lightly.
"Eh…if you want to," Saitama shrugged.
"This is gonna be cool!" Fumio grinned and handed over Black Sperm. Forte was given a front row seat to overlook the track and get an idea of what was expected. As much as he was in shock, he was also a bit excited about it. It was decided against getting Pete for now. They wanted to shock him and figure it out after this important test race was done.
"After this…" Wind Crane glanced at Inichi to get a chuckle in response.
"Oh, Genos. I might beat you. You can't boost yourself with rockets if you have Kamiko on your back," Saitama said while pointing at him with a blank stare.
"Ah…!" Genos gaped at the realization.
"You'd hurt her?" Mitsumi frowned.
"It shall challenge me even more!" Genos nodded with determination. "There will be instances where I cannot use such enhancements!"
"Maybe you should hold me and let Black Sperm be on your back?" Kamiko asked. "I'm sure Black Sperm isn't hurt by fire that often."
"No. It will be fine. My feet also have boosters," Genos said confidently.
"You're disqualified if you drop her at any time," Saitama said. He gathered up Mitsumi and Overgrown Rover's tiny monster form. Then he jumped down to land hard in front of the complex. Mitsumi scowled at the small hole he made while lifting her and Overgrown Rover up in his arms to keep them safe. When he left the small crater, he paused at how Stable Rock sealed the hole back up flawlessly. Now Saitama had an idea. "Stable Rock! Make a challenge on the road! As hard as you want!"
"I have one…in place. It will…appear…as you run…" the powerful earth monster snickered. "Good luck!"
"Hold on!" Genos said and had Kamiko piggyback onto him. Black Sperm wrapped himself around them both easily when Genos darted down the apartment complex with ease. Saitama now stood at the track loop start. Genos stood next to him. Garou was paying close attention with Lily to see how he could finally train with her at his side. The important man was on his phone now to call up Pete to prepare him for a car ride.
"I'll need to pull some teeth after this. Keep the fans in your belts. I don't want them helping me right now," Saitama said and let Mitsumi press a kiss to his mouth. Fire Flight lit the signal with a spark of flame from her hands to start the race. Genos blinked that Saitama was already gone.
"Hold on!" Genos grunted and boosted himself up to swiftly catch up to him. He just barely leapt over a sinkhole that suddenly appeared beneath his feet to seal back up flawlessly. Stable Rock snickered and continued to watch the race. Sweet Mask and the board members were in full blown shock at what they were witnessing. Bane and Kamikaze glanced at each other with humorous looks of challenge now.
"No way…!" Forte gaped and watched how the two S class heroes ducked, dodged and leapt over various obstacles. Stable Rock even had spikes of earth appear at random to try and hinder the racers.
"How long is the track?!" Sweet Mask asked.
"About a mile," Tacki said and kept watch in Kamikaze's arms. Then she saw Saitama gain a sudden boost in speed.
"Too slow, Genos," Saitama muttered and let his eyes flicker with his pupils of burning coals. Just on doing that had him run even faster without any effort at all to his stamina. Mitsumi was giggling the whole time while she clung to him, and Overgrown Rover had its tongue hanging out with joy.
"Damn it!" Genos spat and felt Kamiko squeeze him from his sensors. He grimaced and forced himself to use his foot boosters to maximum capacity.
"I don't care if you lose," Kamiko whispered in his ear softly. "Just don't lose yourself in this emotion. This is a learning experience for you. Improve yourself on what you have learned from this. Okay? Don't get angry over this."
"She right. All good," Black Sperm agreed.
"I know…" Genos muttered and jumped over another sinkhole. He saw how Saitama was already at the parts with the lava, and he almost slipped into the sticky mud that started to line the track. He refocused to keep himself from falling and was able to maneuver through the nasty end course. It was when he got to the end of the track that he found himself almost fumbling from the wind that suddenly smacked into him to force him back slightly.
"Damn it, Wind Crane!" Saitama snapped. Now Genos saw that the wind was also affecting his master at almost five feet away from the finish line loop. I might have a chance to reach him and pass him!
"What? I'm just ensuring your disciple can catch up to you," Wind Crane chuckled softly from where she stood on the apartment roof. She knew that Saitama heard her easily.
"I will have Zenchu spank you!" Saitama retorted to get her dying with laughter. Even Mitsumi was laughing and clinging to him to hold on. It took another five minutes of fighting with the wind before he was able to finally push past it. Only after he reached the end did the wind let up to let Genos join him.
"I almost got past you!" Genos sighed and let Kamiko down. Black Sperm pat him on the head to show all was well.
"Almost. Yes. You're improving, though! Just keep at it," Saitama nodded and had Mitsumi move to settle in his arms to hold Overgrown Rover. She had her fans come out to bring all of them back up to the roof. Then he looked at Zenchu. "Spank Wind Crane later, please."
"Oh, I plan to do something much more intense than that," Zenchu grinned and got Wind Crane blushing hard at it.
"I don't need to know that!" Garou scoffed and shook his head. It was when Saitama looked at Forte that the others went quiet.
"Anyways, your turn. Inichi, we getting that other guy?" Saitama asked.
"I gave him a call. He's coming up in a car," the important man said. "I sent my assistant down to meet with him and advise on where to go."
"I will send Forte down to the start," Inichi said and focused. Saitama claimed his empty seat and got Mitsumi settled in her lap. Overgrown Rover grew larger to lay on them both happily.
"Never fear! Punch Out Pete is here!" the brash, low-class C hero said when he emerged from the car. Tacki rolled her eyes and pressed into Kamikaze's chest.
"Right this way," the important man's assistant said from where she was standing to greet him. "You are to race our A class hero, Forte. If you win, you will be granted hero status for an additional two days. If you fail, then you must perform a heroic deed by the end of tomorrow or lose your status."
"Ah! Yes! I can do this!" the man grinned. Then he paused. "Um…where am I, though?"
"You are at the home of Caped Baldy and Fan Dancer. They are observing from the rooftop of their apartment complex home with other heroes and allied monsters. Please go to the starting line. Caped Baldy had set up this training run exclusively for possible disciples. You always claim to be the best of the best. Now is your time to prove it," the assistant said and stood aside. "You will not become his disciple, but you will assist in testing the course."
"I got this! You're going down!" Pete said with a haughty laugh to Forte.
"Sure, pal," Forte grunted and readied himself. "Just keep an eye on the track. This won't be easy for either of us."
"I shall record this to send to Tanktop Master," Genos said and started his recording. Metal Knight was quick to activate his recording cameras, too, and Siren was highly amused while sitting in his lap in his base.
"On your mark…" the assistant said. Then Pete simply dashed off without waiting for the signal to start running.
"Cheater…" Stable Rock snorted and had a slab of rock come up to force Pete to stop in his tracks. No matter where he turned, the rock blocked him.
"Ah! No! What?!" Pete gaped.
"Forte has a ten second head start for obeying the rules!" Mitsumi said sternly. Wind Crane let her voice carry out to be heard easily.
"I agree," Saitama nodded.
"Come on!" Pete pouted.
"Laters!" Forte grinned and dashed off to start the track. Pete scowled and had to wait a full ten seconds before the rock barrier disintegrated back down. Now he ran off to try and catch up.
"Shit!" Pete growled and ran after him. Forte was expecting the sink hole and was quick to leap over it. Pete fell right into it and found himself deposited at the start of the track. "What the hell?!"
"That's awesome!" Saitama grinned wickedly.
"Glad you…approve…" Stable Rock snickered and let Mitsumi get snuggled by him. Now they watched Forte do some quick free-weight lifting before jumping back onto the track to run. This time Pete kept his eyes on the track and dodged the sink hole. When the spikes of earth started to appear, Forte was able to dodge around them. Pete was losing stamina and had to stop now and then to catch his breath.
"He wouldn't last thirty seconds with me," Zenchu smirked.
"Not even ten," Kamikaze grunted and kept Tacki calm in his arms.
"Hmm…he's lagging behind…" Bright Bolt said with intense amusement. When Pete tried to linger around a spotlight, he shrieked when he suddenly got zapped to keep moving. That got Kamikaze, Bane and Bomb to die with laughter.
"This isn't a walk in the park! It's a race. A training ground. You agreed to be here. You were warned that this was going to test you to your absolute limit. Finish the track!" Saitama said sternly from where he sat with Mitsumi. "Don't make me have my dog chase you!"
"Oh! You totally could!" Tacki said with hopefulness.
"I wouldn't object," Kamiko grinned and got squeezed by Genos.
"Does our puppy want to exercise?" Mitsumi crooned and got a whining growl of excited approval in response. Sweet Mask found himself cringing with laughter at the idea. The board members were just as amused.
"Let's give him another minute," the important man said.
"Master, would you really have your dog chase us?!" Suiryu asked.
"Why not? It chased you at one point. Right?" Saitama shrugged.
"Ah…damn…" Suiryu grimaced.
"I wouldn't mind a good chase," Tsuruga snickered with Tanktop Girl on his shoulders to watch with him.
"We'll see if it comes to that next time," Saitama nodded.
"I just…need…a moment…!" Pete gasped. Forte was already at the part with the lava. He almost got stuck in the mud when he misplaced his footing. Pete was nowhere near the end of the track.
"All talk and no action," King snorted with Kianna in his lap.
"What did you expect?" Kianna chuckled and got kissed by him.
"I think I would like to try the beginning area, though. To…test things," King said calmly. "Can we plan for that?"
"Yep. We totally can," Saitama agreed.
"I wanna race you next time, Bane," Kamikaze grinned.
"Sure. Day after the spa if there are no events?" Bane asked.
"Done!" Kamikaze chuckled.
"I'd say this could be a fund raiser event for heroes to race each other and fanfare, but not on our home grounds. This could even involve archery, shooting targets and many other things," Genos said. The board members now made notes of the possible idea and what to include.
"We can build something under the restaurant for specialty events. Much like a possible karaoke room if the crowds get larger. Places above ground for expansion are difficult to expand on. But below the ground? Easily done," Metal Knight said. "If Saitama can punch out the tunnels, I can set up the paths."
"Cool! We'll get on that after the spa," Saitama grinned.
"I give!" Pete finally said and collapsed on his knees. "This is too much!"
"So, you're saying you're not a badass after all?" Kamikaze snorted. Wind Crane chuckled and let Kamikaze's voice be easily heard.
"Ah…no! I just…" Pete faltered.
"Doggy. Make him run. Just a little," Saitama nodded to Overgrown Rover. The monster dog jumped down and got transported by Inichi to the start of the track. Now it grew four times larger and snarled before bolting at Pete.
"GAAAHH!" Pete shrieked and started running. Sonic and Hirata were in tears of laughter from where they watched from a nearby building rooftop. Tacki was in her own fits of laughter at the whole thing.
"I did it!" Forte said after he was able to force past the windstorm at the end. He looked back and found himself cringing with laughter at Pete getting chased by the giant, six-eyed monster dog. When Pete stumbled, though, Inichi pulled Overgrown Rover away to show the race was done.
"Forte, you are forgiven for attempting to infiltrate my home," Mitsumi nodded. "As for you, Punch Out Pete, you must do one act of a good deed before tomorrow is over. That is all. You may both leave my home."
"I shall escort them away," Inichi nodded and did just that before either of them could ask any more questions. "I will leave the imprint to meet us at Neutral Grounds if they have any further questions for us."
"Good. Bedtime?" Saitama asked and let Overgrown Rover jump into Mitsumi's arms after shrinking tiny.
"Yes. Then spa day!" Mitsumi beamed and got carried down the stairs.
"We must talk," Wind Crane said to Inichi.
"Yes. Let us do so," Inichi agreed.
"Orotsu?" Blue Ripple asked when he looked at the octopus monster.
"Definitely," Orotsu chuckled. With the others dispersing now, there was a touch of excitement in the air for the next event. Mitsumi couldn't wait to go to the luxurious spa. She also couldn't wait for Saitama to finally know that he was going to be a father to a future son. Stable Rock told me his plan and what was discovered. I know I'm going to get sick there. Once that happens…I know Saitama will never let me out of his sight. Not even for the public wedding.
