A certain couple will be trying to convince Amy and Ty to let them go on a dale – alone! The new extended family will get settled into their lives, new jobs and a new school. The big excitement for Amy Is that her friend Maryanne Trudeau is coming to get her daughter Haley settled in college and she may bring a few other family members with her. Amy and Ty as promised will get JT looked over and let him decide what to do about school. I think Trent will play a big role in that decision. As I develop the ensuing chapters we have a big birthday on the way as well as a few surprises, but mostly a family that is dedicated to each other and helping horses. "Hint" Anyway I have a renewed energy and plan to continue into the year with a whole lot of excitement, fun, challenges but most of all love, driven by Amy and Ty. With the holidays over a content Borden family and friends sat together enjoying breakfast. Amy and Ty needed to get to the office and plan out the week and the beginning of the year. The Board had approved the enhancements to their ranch but they had to decide when the work would begin. Amy spoke, "Mallory we are going to start the work on the apartment next week and according to the contractor it will only take a week to 10 days. You can move in it you when you want to as he said it will not be too disruptive." Mallory laughed, "Well I think we have overstayed our welcome so I think that we will move in later this week. And JT don't worry we have an extra bed in Trent's room if you want to stay." JT and Trent high-fived each other. Wyatt spoke up, "Mallory, Lyndy and I can help you move whatever you need." Maddie and the twins chimed in, "And we can help you set things up." Ty laughed, "Well that is taken care of. Don't forget Mallory it comes furnished but when you are ready you can make it your own." She smiled tearfully, "I feel like I say this a lot but thank you all very much." JT scoffed, "Aunt Mallory, you are family and we would do anything for you." Amy looked at him startled remembering when Ty told her that many years ago. Amy continued once she gathered herself, "And don't forget everyone, the Trudeaus are coming in to get Haley settled for college. I think some are coming tomorrow and others on Friday. The kids have to head back for school but Mrs. Trudeau will be here at least until Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Trudeau are staying at Fairfield so kids make sure your rooms are ready for guest, because I don't know who is all coming. JT, Bart is coming so he can sleep with you in the cot Trent has been using and before you ask maybe one night the three of you can stay over." Mallory laughed, "JT, maybe you all can stay at the apartment one night if we get settled in." Trent smiled, "You mean in our home." The table went silent seeing how emotional Mallory reacted to his words and Ty spoke up, "Yep, you're right Trent." The girls went over their plans for the week which included the usual work stuff and hanging with friends. Annie added, "Mom, when Elana, Emmie and Ezzie get here may all of us will go to the mall or a movie?" Amy smiled in agreement and after a few moments of silence, Maddie blurted out in a sing-songey voice, "Lyndy and Wyatt, when is your big alone date?" Realizing she had not asked her parents, Lyndy regrouped and blushed, "Well Madeline, we still have to ask mom and dad." The entire table giggled except the two little boys who were a little confused. Ty spoke sternly, "Maddie, it is not your concern so mind your business. I am sure mom and I will be more than Ok letting them go out on a date, but we will talk about it first." The table went silent as Amy grabbed Ty's hand as an embarrassed Lyndy leaned into Wyatt's shoulder.

First order of business for Amy and Ty was a meeting with their teams. Ty and Steven headed over to the vet clinic as the vet team sat down to talk over several topics – current workload and plans for the new separate animal clinic. Scott spoke up, "The work begins today and the contractor said it would be 3-4 weeks. It seems the layout of the place is perfect as the work is mostly cosmetic and getting things up to code." Ellie who was excited asked, "Since I will be committed to run the new facility, will you guys be able to handle everything else." Cass intervened, "Well I think we need to talk to the University and start specializing our clinical program, basically, equine, beau vine and all other animals. I have already put a bug in their ear about it. And we may want to consider adding a couple of more students. Dr. Molder told me the demand is still high so that will be easy." The group pondered the thought as Mandy added an opinion. "I think that would work temporarily but I think long term we may need to add another vet. Cass and I have chatted about it and we think there are several kids in the program who graduate this year that are strong in the horse and cattle side." The group smiled in agreement and told Cass to add two more kids to the program. Ty interjected, "Well the Equine Department has asked us to come back this semester for another clinic and I think now we should do it. Again they all agreed. Meanwhile back at the Miracle Ranch, Amy, Georgie, Katie and the team of horse trainers met in the ranch office. They spent time going over the current and upcoming workload. They had a rush of new clients on the way and the first quarter looked very busy. With the new direction of the Equine Center the work couldn't get done quick enough. Amy spoke, "Luckily the construction work will start next week and the enhancement will not disrupt us too much. The contractor feels they can finish in a month and Georgie has volunteered to work closely with them." Katie laughed, "Just don't go all mom on them." The group laughed as Lyndy added, "Or Maddie them." Along with her Wyatt, Rusty, Annie and a few other ranch hands were there. They talked about assignments especially for Annie, who wanted to learn the trade as well as the other ranch hands. Amy spoke to the group, "All of you will become more engaged at the level that Georgie and I decide. Annie, you will now become Katie's shadow as her involvement will be limited with the baby on the way." Georgie looked at her giggling, "Wait a minute, this from the girl who would yell at her husband not to bubble wrap her all the time." Amy blushed as the group laughed. Rusty seemed to want to say something and spoke up with hesitancy, "Amy, you know I think Haley would be a great trainer and I know she is interested, would you consider her?" Before she could respond Wyatt laughed, "That's right, your honey will be here soon Rusty. Are you a little excited!" As the girls giggled, Amy spoke up, "Enough you two and Georgie what do you think?" She smiled in agreement, "I think that is a great idea. Business is only going to grow and you never know when the extra help might be needed." Katie noticed a look in her sister when she said that. Amy looked at the clock startled, "Shoot, Lyndy and Annie we have to go. The meeting headed as the Bordens hastily went to the house to get the rest of the kids.

As they headed out Amy gave Maddie her phone, "Call you dad and tell him we are on her way." After she hung up she laughed, "Dad said no problem he was on time and was sitting at Maggie's with his mom and Max." Since they were flying home later in the day, the family had planned a private family goodbye lunch. It also was going to be a chance for Lilly to talk with JT. The Bordens charged into the diner while people looked on as if entrances were their specialty. JT ran directly to Lilly for a hug and kiss, making sure he sat next to her. The family had a great lunch laughing and joking. Sadly Addie spoke, "I can't believe you won't be back until May, we are going to miss you guys a lot. Max laughed, "Well anytime you want we can Zoom and actually I have to come back in a couple of months to go to a meeting with Lisa. Maybe Grandma can come with me for a visit." The kids all smiled happily. After they finished the girls and Wyatt hugged them goodbye and headed home with Amy. Ty and JT hung back as Ty spent a little more time with his mom. Lilly spoke up to JT, "Hey buddy you want to go back to Heartland with us?" He looked at his dad for approval and Ty smiled yes. He knew the reason and told him he would get him when he finished work. As they pulled up and got out of the car, Lilly took JT's hand and headed over to the paddock and sat down on the bench. Lilly smiled, "So grandson, I hear you had a little scare, how are you doing?" He smiled sitting on her lap, "I figured you wanted to talk, my mom kind of told me. I'm Ok it just kind of embarrassing and kind of not fair. Why is this happening to me Grandma?" He leaned into her as small tears started to fall. She held him for a few minutes. "Baby boy, listen to you grandma. My life has not been perfect and when I found out I had cancer I was angry. After all that I had been through and all the progress I had made to find that out was devastating." She hesitated as he hugged him tighter. "But you know what, this is not our fault. We did nothing wrong and I know it is tough but we should not blame ourselves." He whispered, "I know grandma but I am so scared." She pulled him up to face her. "Jackson Tyler, you are a Borden and are strong. You need to be strong for yourself, you parents, sisters and me. We all need you." He smiled, "And I promise you I am always here for you. Anytime you need me you just have your mom give me a call. We are in this together, me and you. And we will both beat this because we have each other and an amazing family that loves us dearly." He smiled and hugged her again. "Grandma, I am here for you too so you make sure you call me too." She pulled him in as tears came to her eyes. She loved him and her new family so much.

Jack let Ty know that JT would go with them when they took Max and Lilly to the airport and they would have dinner there. The day had been a good one for the family and dinner was lively. The girls decided that tomorrow they would have Wyatt take all of Mallory and Trent's things over to the apartment and get them settled. Trent was excited and wondered if JT could spend the night. Mallory spoke to him softly, "Honey, JT is having a big day tomorrow and the Bordens have to get ready for their friends to arrive. There will be plenty of chances for him to come over." Amy smiled and quietly thanked her. The girls were talking about the move and what they wanted to do to set up the place. Maddie got a notebook and pen and started making list of supplies they needed and what they would be doing. She took feedback from everyone and wrote everything down. She proudly said, "Ok we will go over this at breakfast and finalize everything. Wyatt make sure you have your truck gassed up." Everyone laughed and finally Mallory couldn't hold back any longer, "You all we need an intervention. We have to help Maddie to shake this Lou thing, it is scary." Ty looked at her trying to hold back his laugh, "Mallory I think it is way past the point of no return. We don't think she can be helped." A little hurt Maddie looked at him, "But dad, someone has to take charge here or nothing will get done." They all looked seriously until the laughter broke through as Amy went to hug her, "We know honey and we love you for it." Mallory could tell that the kids wanted to hear about JT's day so she grabbed Trent, "Hey buddy, let's go check out the apartment and maybe take Maddie's list." He excitedly followed his mom out the door. Amy calmed and began to speak, "So here is the plan tomorrow with JT. We are going to the clinic to meet with the medical team. I don't think there will be a lot of test but they just want to look him over and ask him some questions. Then we are going to school to meet with his counselor and talk about school." Lyndy respectfully interrupted, "Mom, I know he wants to go to school but I think he is scared that he will have an episode in front of his friends." Wyatt added, "He is such a proud little guy but I know he is nervous." They all sat quietly for a second as Ty spoke, "We understand and we will let him be part of the decision. I know I don't have to say this but we really need you to keep an eye on him. I know this weekend is going to be a little crazy with the Trudeaus here and getting ready for school but we all need to." The all shook their heads in agreement until Addie blurted out, Before the group could continue the door swung open and the devil himself came barreling in followed by Jack and Lisa. "I'm back, why does everyone look so serious. Maddie laughed, We are just hassling Lyndy and Wyatt about the big date." Always the protector he went and stood in front of them and said, "You all need to be nice." The room erupted in laughter and attacked their little brother.

Like a well-oiled machine after breakfast team Borden attacked their challenge to get Mallory and Trent settled. JT wanted to help but knew he had other things to do. After Amy and Ty got some things set for the day they left the office and went to get JT who at least got to help a little at the apartment. They walked in to controlled chaos and Amy picked up her man. "Time to go honey, say goodbye to everyone." He reluctantly followed them to the SUV and they headed to the clinic. When they arrived, JT went up to the desk and checked himself in. A few minutes passed and Dr. Flanders walked into the waiting room. "JT, my man, how are you.." JT smiled, "Ok I guess but I know you heard about my little episode, so that is why I am here." He laughed and acknowledged Amy and Ty, "Well I heard that from your mom so let's go back and talk about it." As they entered the exam one of the familiar nurses was there waiting for him. She smiled and took him to have a few test done so Dr. Flanders could talk to Amy and Ty. He smiled as he left and gave his mom a kiss too. As he left Amy's shoulder's deflated and she leaned into Ty. "Doc, he is so brave but also so scared. He was so embarrassed when it happened and he acts like he is Ok but we don't think he is. He told us that he a worried that something might happen at school in front of his friends." The doctor smiled as two of medical team members came into the room, "Well tell us exactly what happened. Ty ad Amy detailed the episode and how everyone took care of him. She mentioned that one of their daughters saw him struggling and before it got to obvious, took him into his room. My other daughter came and got us so I stayed with him until he started to come back. "My daughter said when she went to him he didn't seem to know where he was and her twin felt it too. They have an ability to feel each other's thoughts and actions. As they took him to his room, my oldest daughter saw it and came to get us. They were so considerate of him, not trying to raise concern with the others." The doctors chatted with themselves for a second and Dr. Flanders spoke up. "Well it seems the episode is similar to the others he has had but was a little shorter in length. We believe that we need to make a few adjustments to his plan and may introduce a new sleep enhancer to help him sleep more soundly." The psychologist continued, It is normal for him to be embarrassed, he is such a mature boy for almost 4. I think continued positive reinforcement and love will help him get past his concerns. I know you are going to see the school team after this so I will call her as soon as we finish and fill her in. I would highly recommend we convince him to go to school but it still has to be his decision." As he finished JT came back from his tests joking with the nurse. Amy smiled, "Ready to go kiddo? Let's grab some lunch at Maggie's before we head over to school, that sound good?" He shook his head yes and went to hug the nurse and politely shook the hands of all the doctors. They smiled at the maturity and composure of such a young boy.

The school visit went well as Amy and Ty were please since JT had decided to go back. He felt he needed to be there for Trent so put his concerns aside for him. The rest of the day went well and dinner was relaxed even though everyone was excited about the Trudeaus arriving tomorrow. The family would now all be coming mid-morning, except for Brad who was in a holiday hockey tournament with his grandpa. Also since Mallory and Trent were in the apartment, Justin and Maryanne decided to stay in the guest room, the girls would stay with the Borden girls and somehow, JT and Trent had convinced their moms that it would be cool for Bart and JT to stay at the apartment for one night and the Miracle ranch the other two. Justin had a meeting on Friday and half day Saturday in Calgary but would be there a lot and most importantly to help Haley move into her dorm room. With all that had to be done, the family went to bed early. Amy and Ty made their rounds and made sure they filled the girls and Wyatt in on the day with JT. Amy and Ty held each other as they talked and cuddled. Even though clothes had been discarded they ended up falling asleep in each other's arms. Amy stirred and noticed it was a little after 2AM. She immediately felt that the warmth her husband produced was missing next to her unclothed body. Ty was like a human heating blanket and not just during their love making. She glanced and noticed the bathroom light was not on so she slipped on her silk robe to see where he was. The door was still locked and it was pitch black except for the moonlight coming through the windows. Their bedroom was one of the first additions they made and it was a spacious retreat for them. There was an oversized king-sized bed, a sitting area, a large walk-in closet along with dressers and a desk. The bathroom was also large with a double sink and seat wear Amy would do her hair and makeup. There was also a two-person shower and a huge claw foot tub that they used a lot. The made sure they had a lot of natural light with several large windows. Since they were on the 2nd floor they decided to just have sheers but if needed there were blinds. Amy's favorite part of the room, next to the bed of course, was an oversized window seat they had put in with a view of the mountains and the setting sun. It was their favorite place and they spent a lot of time cuddling and more as it was the size of a small bed. Although kids were allowed entry with permission their room was for them only. She quietly called out Ty's name and then noticed his silhouette on the window bed, his head looking out at the moon and mountain view. She heard a whisper, "Over here my love." She immediately sensed in his voice that he was upset so she went to him. Opening her robe she embraced his boxer clad body. She smiled, "You are overdressed." He laughed quietly but she knew something was on his mind. She gazed into his beautiful green eyes and spoke softly, "Ok Borden spill."

Ty had always been a deep thinker. Amy both admired it and at times struggled with it. He smiled, "You know me too well." As she snuggled into him tighter he spoke from his heart. "Well I was just thinking too much and couldn't sleep." He hesitated continuing. "Remember when we were taking care of Merlin and needed a break. We went on a ride just to get away. Since Merlin was on our minds we started talking about kids." Amy quietly interrupted, "And you said that you had promised yourself that when we had kids you would give them all the love they needed and would protect and care for them forever." He laughed kissing her forehead, "I knew you would remember. I just wish I could take all of JT's pain and concerns from him. It is so hard to watch him struggle and I just need to fix it. And my mom, she has had such a horrible life. Seeing how happy and content she is, well it's amazing. But then sure enough another challenge comes her way. I just can't stop thinking about them both." They laid there quietly for a minute as Amy finally responded, "Ty Borden you are the most caring man I have ever known. The love you have for the kids, the family and me is unselfish and complete. Everyone loves you so much including yours truly and know that you are there for them, no matter what. It's obvious that your mom is as happy as she has ever been and she loves you completely. She told me a while back that she changed mainly for you because of what she put you through most of you younger life. JT and her had a great talk today and I know they are also there for each other. And JT, Ty he worships you. When he is watching you work with an animal his eyes are always wide open and he smiles with pride being your son. When he was a baby, anytime he heard your voice and no matter what mood he was in he calmed when he saw you." She caught her breath and kissed his lips passionately. "And Ty, I love you more and more as our life moves on. Just like JT, when I hear your voice or see you from a distance, everything else fades away except you." They kissed again as Ty seemed to settle in her arms. After a few minutes he whispered, "Thank you I just love him so much and hate to see him in pain." She smiled, "Like I said you are amazing but remember this. We are all here to help him and he will feel loved and cared for while he moves past this. God I love you." She snuggled into him again and their bodies molded together. They fell into a peaceful sleep basking in the moonlight of the winter night.

The following morning Amy and Ty headed down a little late for the last morning with Mallory and Trent. They were all set up and were moving in after breakfast. Mallory and Trent handled breakfast as Wyatt loaded up the last of their stuff in his truck and the girls were getting their rooms and the house ready to the Trudeaus. Maddie smiled when her sleepy parents walked toward the coffee. She was going to say something but joined by the others just hugged them good morning. As they sat Amy went over the day. "Dad has a couple of small surgeries this morning and Georgie and I have 2 new horses coming in. Mallory is set and it looks like you all have a jump on the house prep. I am not sure the exact time but let's plan to be back here for lunch because I think that is when they will be getting here. GG is having a low-key family only BBQ at Heartland so we will need to head over at dinner time. After they get settled, this afternoon Mr. Trudeau has a meeting and Mrs. Trudeau and Haley are heading over to the University with Rusty too. We will kind of handle things on the fly based on what they need." Mallory interrupted, "I can't believe this. You are talking about the Canadian Prime Minister and his family like it is just another day." JT smiled, "Aunt Mallory they are our friends first and are important to us. You will see they are no different than us." Mallory sat back and smiled. Annie couldn't help herself and look at Lyndy, "So when are you guys leaving on your date?" Everyone's focus went to the young couple as they sat closer together. "Well everyone since you seem overly interested in our personal lives I will tell you. We are going to early dinner at Maggie's and then to a movie. They we are going to the ridge and make out under the stars." Wyatt's eyes grew large surprised at his usually modest girlfriend. The rest sat quietly not knowing what to say when Mallory spoke up, "Touche Lyndy." Everyone broke out in laughter except for JT and Trent who were a little confused. Addie whispered explaining things in their ears and they smiled now understanding. When they settled, Ty spoke up in his fatherly tone, "Well you guys that sounds really nice, except for the ridge thing." To the surprise of everyone Amy smacked him, "Party pooper." The laughed again and began to clear the table, it was going to be a long day.

After a hectic morning, the family was gathered on the porch. Maryanne had called Amy and said they were on their way. Wyatt and Lyndy had picked up some Maggie's for lunch. On cue, three black SUVs pulled down the drive getting the attention of the staff on hand. They had heard of the arrival of the PM's family but it still brought on a sense of pride for the company family. JT and Maddie were the first to break for the vehicles. JT ran directly to Maryanne and Maddie to the twins. Eventually they migrated to the porch for a round of hugs and hellos. Rusty mysteriously appeared and went immediately to hug and kiss Haley. They eventually went into the house as Lyndy and Wyatt helped the security guards disperse the luggage to the correct rooms. The security team left to settle in at Fairfield but reminded them they would be back right after lunch. Amy insisted they take some food back with them and before they could refuse, Annie and Addie had to go bags packed. Maryanne and Amy stayed on the porch as JT had never left her arms. She whispered, "So little man, how are you doing?" Amy placed her hand on his back as he spoke softly to her friend filling her in on everything. She patiently listened to him giving him her full attention. After he finished she hugged him tightly and laughed, "Bart is really excited about your sleepover tonight." JT smiled, "I know and Trent is excited to meet him. So is our Aunt Mallory, but she is a little crazy though." They laughed and went in to join the family for lunch. Right on schedule two SUVs pulled up after lunch as Justin, Maryanne, Haley and a newly invited Rusty headed out. Amy and Ty took JT and Bart over to Mallory's and then went back to work for a while. The Borden girls went to see the horses with the other three Trudeau girls considering a ride. Wyatt had to pick up something for Ty and clean out his truck for the big date. As the girls headed over to the barn, Elana giggled, "So Lyndy tonight is the big date right? Haley told us all about it. So you and Wyatt alone together. And what is this I hear about a trip to a ridge?" Lyndy blushed, "This famliy is nuts, it's like I have no privacy." Addie laughed, "It's just that we are so jealous of you two. Mom and Dad are like the love story of the century but you two are a close second. Wyatt is amazing and kind of hot." Elana chimed in, "For sure!" The girls giggled as Lyndy changed the subject, "Ok let's get some horse tacked up." The afternoon was filled with catching up for all the kids and as planned they gathered at the house to head over to Heartland. Justin was running late so the rest of them, security guards in tow left to go to the family homestead. Lyndy, who had spent a while getting ready for the date with way to much help headed over with Wyatt in his truck. They arrived at Heartland and were happily greeted by the family there. Jack and Lisa were looking forward to catching up with the Trudeaus. Maryanne and her girls hovered around Katie excited about their news as a gleaming Lou watched on. As they settled in Lyndy went to her mom, "We are going to get going mom." Amy smiled as Ty came over hugging her simply saying, "Have a good time."

They discretely walked out only to run into Jack, "Hey you to, I am glad I caught you before you left. I have something for you and don't open it until you get to Maggie's. Oh and have fun." They smiled as she hugged him tightly. They headed to Maggie's as Lyndy sat as close as she could to Wyatt. He whispered, "You look beautiful Lyndy, those are my favorite jeans and you top is really nice, where did you get it." She blushed, "Thanks and mom and I bought it a few weeks ago while we were shopping for Christmas." He pulled up and scampered over to open her door. As she stepped out he kissed her lightly on the cheek. What they walked in one of the servers immediately saw them and took them to a table that had been set up just for them. She laughed, "Your table is ready, Lyndy and Wyatt. And before you say anything, dinners is already paid for, anything you want." As they got to the table they saw a note with their names on it and opened it up. It was from her mom and dad telling them to have a great time along with two vouchers for the movie theater. She smiled into his neck, "I love our family. They laughed and joked as they ordered and began to eat. In order to keep up the tradition they shared a milkshake like their parents for desert with two straws. They were cuddling and sneaking kisses throughout dinner but they didn't care who saw them. Lyndy looked into his eyes, "I love you Wyatt." They decided to walk to the theater since it was just around the corner. After getting their tickets they got a popcorn and a couple of waters. They sat up top to the side as Wyatt hoped making out was on tap. He deeply respected Lyndy but also was becoming more and more attracted to her. He caught himself watching her and thinking of kissing and holding her often. He hoped that she felt the same. Lyndy looked at him as he stared at her, "Wyatt you are embarrassing me, it's not polite to stare." He laughed, "Well I won't promise you that because you are so beautiful." They leaned into each other as the movie started with no space between them. They nibbled on their popcorn and drank from their water while stealing kisses with wandering hands. They both could feel each other curves and were comfortable with the increased intimacy but did realize they were in a rather crowded place. Like Wyatt, Lyndy felt more and more attracted to him. She also would catch herself looking at him especially when he would take his shirt off while moving hay or chopping wood. She caught herself and sometimes looked away embarrassed of the thoughts she was having. The movie ended and they gathered their things and headed back to the truck. He smiled, "Should we go for a drive?" She smiled in agreement as they headed out.

As they drove Lyndy asked blinking her eyes sweetly, "So we have an hour and a half, where do you want to go?" He smiled, "It's a surprise." A few minutes later they pulled up on the ridge right by the family cemetery plot. They got out and Wyatt handed her the letter they had received from Jack that she forgot about. "Lyndy, you need to read this alone, I will be here when you need me." She smiled confused but took the envelope and opened it. It was from her GG Lyndy and addressed to My Dearest Great Granddaughter. As she read it tears came to her eyes. Before she died she had written a letter to each future female family member. Whoever oversaw them was told to give them to each girl when a significant event happened. When she finished the letter she held it to her chest, looked at GG Lyndy headstone and quietly said, "Thank you GG, I love you.." Wyatt came beside her and walked her over to the back of the truck. She was startled when she saw the bed of the truck filled with pillows and blankets. But what got her the most was the one yellow rose laying on one of the pillows. They climbed in and she folded into his body to watch the stars. It was cold but they covered up and stayed warm together. Lyndy moved up to face her love and kissed him passionately. Wyatt was still composed enough to control himself because he respected the woman he loved more than anything. As their kiss continued, she moaned, "Oh Wyatt I feel so loved by you." Their kiss escalated as they innocently explored each other while moving their hands in areas that were new to each of them. His hand slightly grazed a sensitive area and she felt that he was excited. They both had friends who had already been intimate and although it was becoming more and more difficult they had decided to wait a little while longer. After a while they settled and took a breath to look at the stars. Lyndy smiled, "This is perfect, thank you." He smiled pulling a long box out from under the covers. "I have something for you." She opened it and found a beautiful necklace with a gold heart-shaped locket. As she opened it she gasped. On one side was their picture from Katie and Clay's wedding. On the other was their initials and today's date. He helped her put it on and said, "I want us to always remember today, I hope you like it." Her lunging kiss answered him as they rubbed noses and continued to kiss more passionately. All of a sudden she looked at her phone startled, "We have to go, we have 15 minutes to get home." They gathered up everything and stowed behind the back seat. She held her hand to her chest feeling the locket completely in love, sitting close to him as they headed home.

They took off their boots and quietly entered the quiet house as they were 15 minutes late. They walked hand in hand and saw a fire going with Amy and Ty sitting close watching the flames sparkle. At first they thought they should just walk on by but then the heard the soft voice of Amy, "Did you two have fun, be quiet your dad has been sleeping for a while. He insisted that we wait up for you but has been out for a while so I will cover for you." She smiled at her daughter as Lyndy softly hugged her and kissed her forehead, "Mom we had an amazing time, look what Wyatt gave me." Amy looked at the locket and opened it, "Well Wyatt you are quite the romantic. Lyndy did you get your letter?" Lyndy smiled, "Yes, mom it was wonderful, I read it at her grave site and thanked her. How did you know?" She smiled, "Well silly I got one too and opened it in the exact same place because your dad took me there. Remember that the letter is just for you and you can share only if you want to. I shared mine with your dad when we were on our honeymoon." Lyndy smiled as Amy felt Ty stir. "You better go before he realizes you just got home, I got your back." They quietly scampered off as Ty opened his eyes, "They are a little late. I heard you little conspiracy with them." He smiled into her neck and whispered, "I also heard you tell her about the letter. I think they are meant to be. He reminds me of me a lot, especially the romantic side." She moaned as he kissed her neck, cooing into his ear. "Well lets go to bed and you can show me your romantic skills." He scooped her up and carried her into their room, locking the door.
