Chapter One Hundred-Nineteen
Back to New Normal
A/N – Another holiday season is in the books. Some old friends are now becoming a part of the family, others are here for their daughter and her new adventure and oh yeah there was a date. I have been overwhelmed with the interest in making sure I stay focused on Lyndy and Wyatt. I hope the date met some of the request I have received. My last chapter was focused on how this family and friends always "bond" together to help each other. The environment I have attempted to create will provide that commitment and support to help those who need it. I have several things on tap where that will be needed and will also continue to develop the relationships enhanced those bonds created. School is back and I hope to spend some time with the kids and their growth. I will not neglect the visitors and their big event happening and also am excited about developing the new lives of Soraya and Mallory. I plan to provide the business improvements as I believe that directly relates to the legacy of the Bordens. Oh and there is a birthday coming soon! To be honest I have so many new storylines to develop, and if you will continue to have me I will continue on this journey with you. I look forward to your reviews and story ideas. Mature and Homophobic Content Enjoy!
Two Sidebars – If you have noticed my word counts have grown slightly. As my dedicated readers know, my style is to add content on the fly as ideas come to me. As this story continues I find myself elaborating on topics a little more and referring to past events. I don't believe they are but I hope the chapters don't become too long. Please let me know if you agree. Thanks as always.
Also I had a review that I couldn't respond to asking why I have not had Wyatt and Lyndy go further in their intimate relationship. I know that I have spoken of their maturity and love for each other and I am not a prude, but they have a lot of respect for each other and when they are both ready, it will happen. Heartland has been successful as a family show and although I have taken a few more liberties with intimacy she is still only 15 so I hope you all understand.
The weekend for the Bordens was full with spending time with the Trudeaus, getting ready for school and an impromptu Saturday dinner to introduce Mallory, Soraya and their families to, who Maddie described as their Canadian royalty friends. Saturday morning was quite a blur as breakfast was pretty quick. Everyone had something to do and wanted to get to it. Justin had a brief follow up meeting in Calgary but would be back in time to go shopping with Ty. Their plan was to grab Dillon so the three of them could grab some burgers and dogs to grill for dinner. And of course Ty would make his Mac N Cheese. Amy and Maryanne would take care of the rest of the food as Mallory and Soraya would bring desert. The impromptu BBQ was going to be a chance for Mallory and Soraya's family to meet and spend time with the Trudeaus. The older group of kids were heading out on a ride and the younger group including the three sets of twins, Elana and Maddie were meeting friends at the mall. JT, Trent and Bart were inseparable, spending every minute together. After a night at Mallory's apartment, they would be at the Miracle Ranch house tonight. Jack and JT were planning to sneak out to the pond to give some fishing lessons to Trent and little Bart during the day. He was kind of smaller but he still would have a blast. The Trudeaus, less Maryanne and Haley were leaving just after lunch the next day with two members of the security team and the kids started school as well on Monday. Maryanne still planned to stick around till mid-week to make sure Haley was settled. Amy was going to head out with her, Haley and Rusty to get her completely settled in her dorm. Due to fact that she was the PM's daughter, she was offered a single room but she insisted that she have a roommate and they planned to meet her as well. As usual, Amy and Maryanne spent a lot of time together even dragging Soraya and Mallory into the mix. The four of them seemed to hit it off and spent a lot of time laughing about their kids. Since they were getting some sides for the evening the four of them grabbed a quick lunch at Maggie's. Maryanne had a lot of questions for the three lifelong friends. "So Soraya and Mallory, you were eye witnesses to the Ty and Amy craziness, how did you cope?" Mallory jumped in, "You can't believe the stress these two caused me. Back and forth, I love him, I don't. They were really kind of dumb back in the early days. Everybody but the two of them knew they were meant for each other." Soraya laughed, "I agree except for one thing, Amy and Ty always loved each other but their stubbornness seemed to get in the way." Amy sat silent blushing at the conversation, and tried to change the subject, "So, how about the three little guys, they seem to be having fun." After a moment of silence the four of them burst out in laughter.
As the late afternoon arrived the families had all come together at the Miracle Ranch. The Bordens, Trudeaus, Walsh's and Wells' gathered and of course Rusty showed up. While the adults took care of the food all of the kids headed over to take care of the horses and get them settled. Ty, Justin and Dillon tended to the grill and after the four women got everything set up, they sat on the porch which was nice and warm with the drops pulled down. Mallory laughed, "I really like how you can use the porch even in the winter. It is really comfortable." Amy laughed, "Yea, we did it at Heartland as well and the company owns a couple of tents we use sometime for bigger events. And to be honest, with the size of the family now we needed the room. It's nice to send the kids out here as well to give us some adult time." Soraya laughed, "Well I hope the tents are easy to put up, remember when Ty almost killed Jack before the open house a long time ago." Maryanne smiled, "It sounds like you guys have some wonderful memories." Amy smiled, "Yes we have but there has also been some challenges but that was when these two weren't at their best. We always have been there for each other." Changing the subject she asked, "Maryanne, how has Justin been doing, I hear he is still running into a lot of opposition on some of his initiatives. Is he handling things Ok." Maryanne got quiet and put her head down, "Well to be honest that is why I am glad we all came to see you, he needed a break. He is putting on a brave face but I know it bothers him. At night sometime I feel his restlessness and he has been having trouble sleeping." They sat silently for a moment, "I have asked him to talk to someone but he is a bit bullheaded, like his father and says he can handle it." She suddenly looked at Soraya, "Amy says you are a clinical psychologist, I hope it is not too much to ask, but could you talk to him? He needs someone else besides me to talk to and from what I hear you are an amazing listener." Mallory and Amy both smiled in agreement. Soraya took her hands and looked into her eyes, "If you want I will try to grab him tonight and see if I can bring up the subject." Blushing she continued, "I can't believe I just said I would grab the Prime Minister of Canada." They all laughed as Maryanne spoke up, "Mallory and Soraya, when we are with this family we are not the family of the leader of the country, we are family and friends." Mallory laughed, "You know that is what JT said the other day." The four women laughed and watched as the large group of kids were heading back to the house. A sense of pride came over them as Amy whispered, "Look at them, look what we have created." They all smiled in silent agreement.
The men kept an eye on the four ladies who seemed to be having a good time. Justin laughed, "I wonder what they are talking about, hopefully not us." Dillon added, "You bet they are mate. I know how Soraya talks about Amya as they are definitely close and I have heard Mallory is a little crazy." They all laughed and continued to watch them closely. Amy kept looking at Ty as their eyes caught several times. He smiled as Justin gave him some trouble, "Good lord Ty can you just leave her alone for a minute." He smiled, "Sorry I am busted. Hey Dillon, can you go get the rest of the burgers, I think we are ready for them." He saluted him jokingly and headed inside. Since they were alone he asked, "So Justin, how are you doing. Amy mentioned that your wife said the pressure has been overwhelming. You know if you ever need someone to talk to don't hesitate to give me a call." He smiled as Ty continued, "You know Soraya is setting up a practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Hudson. She is an amazing listener and helped Amy and I when we were younger a lot, you should chat with her." Dillon walked up on the conversation and spoke up, "So Ty finding some business for my wife?" They all laughed, "Kind of, just telling Justin, how amazing your wife is and yea maybe." Dillon looked at Justin, "I am sure that she would love to talk to you, it would look good on her resume. And I do agree with Ty, she is amazing. In England she had a great practice but when her mom got sick she kind of stepped back. If you are Ok I will mention something to her. I can't believe I am talking to you like we are having a pint at the pub. This is crazy, you are the Prime Minister for goodness sakes." Justin smile and held up his beer for a toast. "When I am here I am just Justin a good friend." As they went back to grilling they noticed a rather loud group of kids heading back from the barn. Dillon smiled, "Look at those kids, it's like they have been friends forever, we haven't done to bad. Thanks god we married good women." The laughed as Maddie yelled over, 'You guys better focus on grilling and stop goofing off, we are hungry." The food was gathered up and set on the table as the feast began. The Trudeaus and Bordens were definitely close but it seemed as though the Walsh's and Wells' were being welcomed in as well.
The kids settled in on the heated porch and for the most part sat in their little groups. JT, Trent and Bart kind of moved around to all the groups making sure everyone was behaving. The adults were having a great kid free time. Amy laughed, "So Maryanne, how are you handling having a daughter in college so far away." She smiled, "Well I am not gonna lie, it is hard, but the program is really amazing. And I hate to say it, her and Rusty have really become close, which worries me slightly." Justin scoffed, "Annie, she is a smart and mature young lady and anyway I will have Ty keeping the evil eye on him. Remember she does have an amazing father and a security guard with her." Mallory laughed, "I mean really, who doesn't need a security guard." They all laughed at the outspoken young woman. Maryanne laughed, "Mallory you are a hoot. Amy told me she had the hots for Ty when she was like 12." Amy and Soraya laughed as Soraya answered, "Yea, when she was heading off to school, she jumped up and gave him a big smooch." Ty puffed his chest out, "Yea, I was quite a ladies man." Again the group laughed as they enjoyed the great food and conversation. The older kids were spending a lot of time harassing Lyndy and Wyatt about the big date. Haley giggled talking to Wyatt, "So lover boy, did you wine and dine this hot babe?" Rustey added, "Did you get lucky?" They both blushed as Lyndy answered holding Wyatt's hand, "We had a great time. A nice dinner and movie. And then he took me to the ridge near the family cemetery and gave me this." She pulled out the locket and showed it to the girls. Annie looked at Wyatt and gave him a big hug whispering in his ear, "You are amazing, Lyndy is so lucky to have you." He answered her back quietly, "I am the lucky one." Rusty continued to push Wyatt on if he got how lucky. Wyatt's face turned serious and he spoke startling everyone there. "Rusty, you are a good friend, but I don't appreciate you talking that way. I love Lyndy and respect her completely. What we do is private and only our business." The room was dead silent as everyone didn't know what to say. Rusty realized he may have went too far and looked at his friend, "I am sorry man I respect you both and got a little bit carried away, we good?" Wyatt smiled and shook his hand as Haley spoke up, "Wyatt thanks for setting this guy straight, I was ready to smack him in the head." They all laughed and luckily the conversation went away from their date. After dinner, desert was served and the crowd continued to have a great time. Lyndy and Wyatt were huddled close, still thinking about their amazing date. Rusty sat with Haley and her parents talking about school. For the most part everyone had a great time and later in the evening, Maryanne and Amy saw her husband sitting with Soraya in a private conversation. Amy smiled, "It must be going well." Maryanne wondered how she knew that. She continued, "Because Justin is doing all the talking. Soraya is the greatest listener I have ever known." They both smiled looking on.
All of the Trudeaus headed out mid-morning to get home for school. Maryanne and Haley had extended goodbyes on the porch as the Bordens let them alone. A forlorn Maryanne and Haley came back in the house to get hugs from Ty, Amy and the kids. The Trudeaus, Rusty, Wyatt and Lyndy headed off to college to get Haley settled for her first week. The rest of the day for the Bordens was restful and making sure they had everything ready for school. When the group returned from college, less Haley, the family had a low-key supper as everyone had to get up early for school. Maryanne talked to Amy as they cleaned up about her had plan to spend some time with Soraya as well to understand what she could do for her husband. After telling everyone goodnight Amy and Ty settled into their bedtime routine. All day they had been sneaking kisses and hugs and their fire was rising. Ty was watching her get ready realizing he never tired of her routine and how it stimulated him. As Amy came to bed she recognized the look and smiled seductively slipping the strap of her pajama top down her shoulder. She bit her lip as she slowly removed it continuing on to the rest of her pajamas. She spoke softly, "Like what you see?" TY reached up and pulled her gently on top of him locking her in a passionate and loving kiss. Amy's skin tingled feeling his arousal grow as she quickly slid off his boxers. They had been intimate, but not as much with everything that had been going on. Amy had the feeling that her man would make up for that tonight. He moved her under him and started to trace kisses up and down her body. She silently moaned, "Ty, that feels so good, I have missed you." Taking the cue Amy felt him increase the attention, especially to her breast and below. She arched her back as he pleasured her attentively. His lips attacked her breast as she grabbed his head urging him on. She reached down and grasped his engorged manhood and stroked it lightly. His hands ventured below pleasing her as well adding his lips and tongue. The combination of everything caused her to explode in ecstasy. She shuttered as he continued his loving actions. After a second climax she was panting heavily and moaning his name. He caught his breath and allowed her to concentrate on his pleasure. She continued to focus on him as she stroked, licked and kissed him where he now was the one in ecstasy. They both knew he was close so he maneuvered over her as she opened for him. As they joined a combined gasp came from the lovers lips. Even though they had made love many times, each one was like the first. They moved together for a while as Amy orgasmed several times. When she knew Ty was ready, she clenched as they both exploded. Ty continued to move for several minutes until they both collapsed breathing heavily. Between heavy breathes Amy whispered, "Well that was worth the wait." Ty chuckled softly, "Yes it was. We are pretty good at it." She smiled into his damp chest and glanced at the clock. She giggled, "Yea almost two hours, not bad for an old couple." They held each other tightly awash in their own thoughts, mostly focused on the love they had for each other.
Although pretty tired, Amy and Ty got up early to make a great first day back to school breakfast. Maryanne sat in awe of the family routine on school mornings. Backpacks were neatly set on the counter and the kids made their lunches which were them packed away. She smiled as she watched Wyatt help JT delighting at their close relationship. Lyndy was excited as Amy and Ty had agreed to let Wyatt drive them to school a couple of days a week, even letting them pick up Maya and Bella, with her parents' permission. Breakfast was full of chatter about the new school year and Maryanne surprised them all when she video called her kids at the breakfast table as well. The love and friendship between the kids was evident as they passed the iPad around so each could talk to one another. Maryanne went into the living room to have some private words with the kids and then her husband. Amy noticed a tear in her eyes and when she came back she hugged her friend. Then to Maryanne's surprise, JT came up to her and jumped on her lap. He looked at her and said, "Don't, worry you will see them soon but I hope we can be your family while you are still here." The room went silent as everyone was on the brink of tears. She hugged him tightly and they he blurted out, "It's time for school let's roll. Wyatt and Lyndy headed first as Wyatt again assured Ty he would be safe. Annie and Addie were next and were excited to help Camilla settle in to her new school. Finally Maddie and JT were joined by Trent and headed out. Like the twins and Camilla they were both focused on helping Trent and Caroline getting acclimated to their new schools. As the last bus pulled out a black SUV pulled up to get Maryanne. She was heading into Calgary to catch up with her friend Celene and spend the afternoon with Soraya and night with Haley before she went back home tomorrow. As she headed out Amy and Ty realized that they had an hour before they had to go to the office and Amy leaned in, "I need a shower, care to join me in our empty house." He smiled realizing how long it had been since the house was empty. After a fun shower together Amy and Ty headed to the office. On the way over they dropped by the Day Care Center to check on Mallory and say good bye to Marjorie. Mallory was doing so well the she decided she would turn things over earlier than planned. Amy smiled as she walked in to see Mallory setting up her small office. She had several pictures of Trent, one of her and Jack, Copper and one with the three of them. Amy laughed, "What no pictures of you kissing Ty?" She laughed, "No these are the happy times of my life, especially this guy." She held a picture of Trent to her chest. Amy smiled, "Well I know I have said it a million times, but welcome home."
As Maddie, JT, Caroline and Trent pulled up to school emotions were high. Maddie looked at her subdued brother and smiled, "You got this buddy, you have me, Trent and Caroline here for you. Now get going and we will see you guys later." JT and Trent walked into their room as the new student saw how many kids gravitated to his new best friend. JT was amazing introducing Trent to everyone. He had already met some of the teachers when they went with his mom, Amy and JT for a tour over the holiday. Trent already felt at home and was connected to JT's hip. Amy and Mallory had spoken to the teaching team and asked if they could be paired up for a while. They had two motives, to help Trent acclimate to his new life and to help JT deal with his hesitancy to come back to school. Also Amy felt that Trent could be there for him as he had seen a couple of episodes and knew the signs. Although JT was a little upset he understood it was the best for him. The teachers agreed that it was best for both of them. Meanwhile in 4th grade Maddie took the room by storm as well. Caroline, who was very shy, was amazed at how dynamic her personality was and how kids reacted to her happy demeanor. Gwen and Sylvia had met her over the holidays and the four of them stuck together. Gwen whispered to Caroline with Sylvia by her side, "Your one of us now and we got your back. We love Mads like a sister and we would love you to feel that way too." Caroline gently hugged them both realizing how amazing these two girls were. She had never known any kids with Downs and was excited to have them by her side. Maddie walked over to the scene and laughed, "Are these two bothering you, they are kind of crazy." Gwen smacked her friend on the arm as the four of them giggled and headed to their seats. The teacher got their attention, "Ok let's spend some time talking about the holiday break, who wants to share what they did." To no one's surprise, Maddie waved furiously. The teacher joked, "Well class let's get Maddie out of the way, don't you think?" They all laughed as Maddie began her rant. "Well Christmas and New Years were awesome as we had a lot of parties and activities. My mom and dad's company had an awesome party and at Christmas I got some amazing presents. My mom had two old friends return to live in Hudson. My new friend Caroline and her family being one." She pulled Caroline next to her and continued, "Carolines mom is my mom's oldest and dearest friend and has known her and my dad forever. Caroline has a sister, Camilla, who is in 8th grade, her dad is a physical therapist and her mom a psychologist. Another old friend came here unexpectedly with her son Trent who is my brothers age. She is now managing the Day Care Center at our ranch. Then we found out my cousin Katie is pregnant and is excited. And my older sister Lyndy went on her first alone date with her boyfriend Wyatt in his new truck." Taking a breath, the teacher interrupted, "Ok Maddie, wow you had quite the holiday but let's move on. Caroline what about you?" She smiled and laughed, "What she said." The class erupted in laughter as Caroline realized this was going to be a good semester.
Addie and Annie with Camilla in tow walked into middle school excited as a number of their friends approach them in the common area. They heard an immediate scream from Maya and Bella who came running their way. They had not seen their friends over the holiday, except Desi and Jeremy who they exchanged gifts with. Camilla stepped back as the four girls hugged. Addie pulled her over, "Girls this is Camilla and she has moved her from England with her family. Her mom and our mom are best friends since kindergarten." Maya and Bella welcomed her pulling her into the group hug. Bella looked her over, "You are really cute." Maya smacked her, "Easy girl I am standing here." Camillia laughed remembering that the twins had told her they were together." She blushed, "Thanks, coming from you that means a lot, I mean you are really pretty too." Annie laughed, "Ok enough I need to find my man." Almost on cue, Jeremy and Desi came over to hug their girlfriends as the crowd hooted and hollered. Camilla laughed and nudged Maya and Bella, "Well I guess we are chopped liver now." The first bell rang and reluctantly they went off to their homerooms. Soraya had requested that Camilla be in the same room as the Borden girls to help her get used to her new school. As they walked in Bella whispered, "And I really like you cute accent Camilla." Maya smacked her again apologizing, "Pardon my girlfriend, she is the world's biggest flirt." They all giggled until they were confronted by three guys from the football team as one spoke, "Oh look it's the two lesbos, hey girls how is the queer life going." The other boy added, "You two are disgusting and my parents feel you should be expelled." The girls stepped aback as Desi and Jeremy had already gone to their class. Camilla immediately stepped up between the boys and her new friends, "You to need to back off, I am new to this school, but where I used to live people were a lot nicer. You need to apologize and be on your way before I really get angry." The third boy was standing a little behind but when he saw her step up he did as well, "You guys need to listen to her and back off. You are both being rude and need to get lost. And I am done being your friend." The boys stepped away huffing and shoving the boy who had joined in confronting the two bullies. As they left he turned to Camilla, "Hi my name is Troy, Camilla, right?" She smiled meekly, "Yes, thank you." He smiled, "Well what you did was really brave and pretty amazing. Maybe we will see each other around." He laughed and went to his class as Addie jabbed her in the side, "Looks like Camilla has a boyfriend." Annie added, "And he is really hot." Before Bella could say anything Maya put her hand over her mouth. The laughed and headed to homeroom.
By lunchtime, the school was abuzz as word of the confrontation and the new girl from England spread. As they sat eating, several students came over thanking Camilla as well as some of the teachers. The principal walked over to their table and spoke, "Miss Walsh, I wanted to personally thank you and Troy for stepping in this morning. The football coach, school counselor and I talked to them this morning along with their parents." Looking over to Maya and Bella he continued, "They will be giving you a formal apology and have been suspended for the week including the football team. We have zero tolerance for this type of harassment and I would like to apologize as well. If you need anything get with me or Ms. Landers." They smiled as he left looking down as it seemed that the entire lunchroom was watching. Then to their amazement the entire lunchroom broke out into applause for the brave girl from England. As things settled Desi joked, "Man quite a first impression Camilla, guys we need to keep her in the group." She blushed as Bella came over to hug her in thanks. As lunch ended, Troy came over to the group, "Hey Camilla, I think we have the next class together, can I walk you to it." She was happy since it was the only class she had without anyone she knew. She smiled bashfully as he grabbed her backpack for her and they headed off. Addie leaned into the group, "Ok guys I don't know him well so we need to check him out and make sure he is good enough for our girl." They all laughed and headed to their next class. Camilla could only smile as she walked to her class with Troy. On the way she continued to receive positive comments from others. Troy leaned over and whispered in her ear, "See we all aren't that bad." When the day ended the group huddled before they got on their busses. Maya asked smirking, "So how was the walk to class with Troy, Bella's right, he is hot." Camilla blushed, "It was nice and he whispered something in my ear and I kind of shivered. He is really a good guy and really, really hot." They all laughed as the entire group decided to go to the Miracle ranch and go for a ride.
Since it was the first day back, Ty had told Wyatt it was Ok for him to drive them to school. As they pulled up, Lyndy dislodged herself from his side. They were still thinking about their date and how amazing it was. Lyndy had a look that caused him concern as they started to get out. He gently grabbed her arm and looked into her eyes, "Lyn, what's wrong, you have been quiet lately." She took a breath turning a little flush. "Wyatt, our date was perfect and I love you. But it feels like something changed with us, I just can't explain it." Alarmed he spoke tentatively pulling back, "What do you mean, are you having second thoughts about us?" She gathered herself and laughed, kissing his cheek, "No silly boy, I don't think I have ever loved you more, it's just that there was a moment when we making out where I think we both wanted to move further, did you feel it?" He took a breath relieved, "Lyndy I love you and respect you. So many of our friends have gone further than us but for all the wrong reasons. You don't know how much I desire you and want to take the next step, but it has to be mutual. And it has to be perfect. We are young and have a whole life together ahead of us. But I won't lie, it is getting harder and harder to resist you." She blushed even redder, "Me too. Don't be mad but I talked to my mom about it, not in detail, but just talked. She was my age when her and dad started liking each other. She said it was difficult for them too but they always did two things. They tried to always communicate openly and respect each other. It was difficult at first but when they got there it just happened." He was now blushing, "Great, your mom and I am sure your dad know! How am I going to face them." She laughed tickling his side, "Wyatt Miller, my parents love you, you have nothing to worry about." They kissed one last time as cat calls rang from outside the truck. They laughed, hopped out his side and headed to see their friends, who were gathered outside.
Lyndy ran to her girls and Wyatt went to the guys who were giving him a lot of guff. Lyndy's friend Maya looked at her, "So Lyndy, how was the date, did lover boy treat you good?" Lyndy smiled confidently, "Our date was perfect." Another new girl to the group spoke bluntly, "So did you guys get it on, I know I would, he is a babe." The mood of the group went somber as her real friends knew how private Lyndy was about their relationship. Again confident Lyndy spoke to the question, "Your right, Wyatt is gorgeous. But want makes him different is that he not only loves me but he respects me. He is my best friend." The girl continued, not backing down. "Yea whatever, I heard he lives with you guys because he is like an orphan or something. I mean come on you can't tell me you guys haven't done it yet." The group braced themselves as Lyndy took a breath. Lyndy was a very composed and controlled young lady but this pushed her to the limit. She glared at the rude and disgusting girl, "Well, you obviously think differently from me and I guess you really haven't had a relationship that means something. For us, we don't need to "do it" to be close and in love. We respect each other and talk to each other and don't need sex to confirm that." The group and especially Wyatt, who had walked over, sat stunned at the normally modest girl. She reached over to grab his hand and continued, "I actually feel sorry for you as it seems you don't have the ability to truly love someone like a partner and best friend. Yes Wyatt and I live in the same house in rooms next to each other. And yes we are alone a lot, but our time is spent caring for each other, being there for each other and loving each other." She leaned into Wyatt, "He is my best friend and when we are ready we will do what you think is so important in a relationship." She sighed and kissed his cheek as the girl put her head down in shame. The group headed off to class congratulating their friend on setting the rude girl straight. Wyatt just held her tighter with no need to say a word.
Amy and Ty had decided to invite Mallory and Soraya's family to dinner. They figured it would be good to see how all the kids did on their first day, especially Camilla, Caroline and Trent. They ordered pizza, apps and salads to make it easy and brought extra chairs to the table. The kids were buzzing with multiple conversations going on at once. Amy got their attention and spoke to the kids, "Ok, so spill, as parents we need to know how today went." Trent jumped up first, "Well JT is like the king of the class, everybody likes him and he is definitely really awesome. The teachers put us together so he can help me and I am excited. The school, teachers and kids are awesome and I can't wait to go back." JT smirked, "And you can keep an eye on me." The room went a little silent as they all knew what he meant. Mallory interrupted the uneasiness, "Well honey that is great and I am sure you and JT will be thick as thieves." JT looked at Wyatt and he whispered, "What the heck does that mean?" Caroline spoke next putting her arm around Maddie, "Well this crazy girl is amazing. They asked us what we did over the holiday and Maddie jumped up telling them every detail of the holiday, even Wyatt and Lyndy's date." When they asked me I simply said, "What she said." The entire table laughed as Maddie huffed, "Well I wanted to tell them all the fun stuff that happened." The laughed again but in a more understanding manner. Next Camilla spoke up but Addie took over. "No girl, I got this. So these three football idiots came up to us and two of them started harassing Bella and Maya. For those who don't know they are a couple and Bella actually lives with them because she came from a bad home. Anyway, my girl here jumped in and dressed them down in front of everyone. It was quite a scene and the third guy came up and joined her in setting them straight. The boys got suspended and Camilla was the talk of the day." Annie took over, "The guy that helped her was awesome and I think that they hit is off. His name is Troy and he is hot. He walked her to class after lunch and let's just say they looked cute together." At this point Camilla was a bright shade of red. Dillon spoke up to calm her, "Honey we are really proud of you for standing up to those boys but this Troy guy, I thing I need to meet him." Soraya smacked him as the table laughed again. Finally it was Lyndy's turn but Wyatt jumped in. "Well I will try to PG this but calm and modest Lyndy dressed down a stupid girl who was saying some pretty disgusting things about our relationship and our closeness." He blushed a little and continued, "Let's just say she was polite but told her that our relationship was perfect and we didn't need the things she thought were important with a boy and girl." Ty rolled his eyes a little, "Important? I think we may talk later about that." Now it was Amy and TY's turn to smack Ty. Again the table laughed and continued to enjoy their dinner. The proud parents sat smiling at their amazing kids as Mallory whispered in Soraya's ear with a tear in her eye, "This is going to be good."
