Chapter One Hundred Twenty-Eight
Spring Break – Week One
A/N – Again I thank you for indulging me with my techno geekiness. I had a lot of fun with the last chapter and managed to fit in some fun Borden family stuff too. Spring Break is here, so once we get through Ashley's stuff we will go full speed with a really fun and amazing break for the entire family. As per this title there will be two parts. I expect a lot of family time, adventure and a little romance. I am still thinking through the big trip to England and what will go on there. And of course, as mentioned expect some focus on our two favorite couples, Amy and Ty as well as Lyndy and Wyatt. And who knows, maybe a second date for Mallory. Although she is back I don't plan to have Ashley as a regular part of my story unless you would like me to. She was never a favorite of mine but I just ran with an idea a reader gave me and came up with the link to the notorious Stanton family. Again, your input and ideas are a major part of what I do and really enjoy developing them along with my own. Please continue to let me know what you think of my story and continue to feed me ideas. Thanks Mature Content Enjoy!
The Board heard Ashley's plea bargain deal. She continued to contend that Jesse was not aware but also admitted that as the CEO the buck stopped with him. She did commit that once resolved, Jesse would make a trip to personally apologize to the Board. The investigation would continue to determine who actually instigated the intrusion. Her deal was simple. When they true culprit was determined, she asked for his charges to be expunged. She also agreed to pay any court recommended fines and offered a Briar Ridge Board Seat to someone from H.E.E. She believed that would instill a confidence with them that nothing like this would ever happen again. Max replied for the Board and committed that they would look over their options and the offer from Briar Ridge. They agreed right there that Lisa should be recommended as the Board Member and she readily accepted. Ashley agreed immediately, knowing that Lisa's business acumen was needed and would be accepted by the rest of the Board. Since the case was still active and Spring Break was starting they set a meeting the week after it to talk over everything with her and anyone else she wanted to bring. The hope was that they would have the specific party responsible in custody by then. Ashley spoke, "Well thank you for your consideration and I will follow up with my mother and brother. I wish my return was on better terms but I promise to be transparent during the process." She smiled glancing at Ty, Amy and Caleb as she left to go back to the airport. As the door closed the room was eerily silent. Finally Jack spoke up, "Well isn't this something. The Stanton's have always had a reputation but this is really even beneath them." Lisa continued, "I realize for some of you this is difficult but as soon as this press release goes out we all need to prepare for the onslaught of questions. Lou and I have an email ready to go out just before the press release is sent to all the media outlets. We have also prepared a letter specifically for our clients and suppliers as well as a general one for anyone else you feel needs it. So as you head back understand that there will be questions so here is a sheet of answers we all want to use. Max, Lou and I have vetted them out so we all need to stick to the script oh and by the way. Max decided to stay home and come back for the next meeting if needed. But most importantly let's get back to it and keep doing our job and having fun over Spring Break." The group dispersed and headed back to their specific places. Ty, Amy, Steven, Georgie, Caleb and Cass chatted a bit to make sure they were organized on what they needed to do. Scott talked with Lou and Lisa about the vet clinics as well. Lisa made a stop to see Jenn and Ben to fill them in as well and Lou was heading to Maggie's. The plan was in play and it was time for the Borden's to enjoy their break.
After a weekend answering a lot of questions, the Borden's sat at breakfast talking about all of their upcoming adventures. The England crew was leaving Wednesday afternoon and returning the following Tuesday morning. That would give the travelers time to adjust from the jet lag they will experience. Amy spoke up, "Don't forget the Walsh's will be over for dinner tonight to go over the plans for your time away." The girls were giddy with excitement but notice that JT was kind of quiet. Addie looked over to him, "Don't worry buddy, I know you will miss us but we will be fine. We will call home a couple of times for sure." He looked at them calmly, "I am not worried, although I will miss you. I hope Mr. Walsh is Ok. Mom and dad, we should have him over a couple of times." Amy smiled at her little boy, "Well that's nice of you and I agree. But I think a break from three women will be good for him." Annie added, "Yea buster you say we are a little overwhelming sometimes, right." He smiled meekly, "Yea I guess but I say that but will still miss you three." Annie, Addie and Maddie came over for a group hug with him and Maddie proclaimed, "We will miss all of you." Ty changed the conversation and talked about the fishing cabin weekend. "Now let me get this straight, Lyndy and Wyatt are going as well as Trent. And somehow you convinced GG to bring Brey, Billy and Ben O'Dell?" JT smiled, "Yep, I have my ways. And now Lyndy is going to bunk with me and Trent and Wyatt with the others. So I will keep the love birds apart." He high fived his dad as Lyndy gave him a mean look, "Yea thanks for that pal." Maddie scoffed, "It's not like you two could sleep together, geez you are just kids and like GG and Grandpa would go for that." The whole table erupted in laughter as Lyndy leaned into Wyatt sadly. For the kids, the day would be hanging around the ranch working and playing. Annie, Lyndy and Wyatt had some horse time planned and in the afternoon the twins had a trail ride planned with their friends. Maddie had Gwen, Sylvia and Caroline coming over and they were going to hang out at the Day Care and the ranch. JT was hanging out with Jack getting some lures ready and then was having lunch with him and Lisa. Ty and Amy quietly listened until Lyndy brought it up. "So mom and dad, when are you two love birds leaving for Pike River? You better be careful and safe if you know what I mean." The girls giggled, Wyatt rolled his eyes and JT sat confused. Wyatt whispered to him, "I'll fill you in later." Amy smiled putting her arm tightly around Ty and kissing his cheek, "We are leaving Friday morning and coming home Sunday night and yes were are excited. We love Pike River." Annie joked, "Just no eloping." Wyatt was confused so Addie explained, "Mom and dad got this crazy idea to elope rather that have a big wedding. Aunt Lou was beside herself so GG and Grandpa Tim went to bring them to their senses. Luckily they realized that a real wedding was needed and didn't elope, although they actually went to see the minister." Ty laughed, "Well there is more to the story but that will be for another day." They all cleaned up and headed out for their day, each looking forward to their first week of break.
The day went well for everyone and dinner with Soraya and family was really fun. They talked through all of things they needed to accomplish and made sure they had some time to see some of the sites. Soraya laughed, "Dillon's parents seemed a little over whelmed at times with all their grandchildren. Can you imagine how they will react to 3 extra girls!" Dillon shook his head as Amy assured them, "Well if my three are a problem let me know and we can ship them back on a slow boat." JT looked at his mother concerned, "Mommy that is not nice, you better not do that." Soraya laughed and pulled him into a hug, "Awe sweetie, she is joking." Everyone laughed and after they were done they went on their way home. Amy reminded them that they would pick them up in the big SUV so they didn't have to leave a car there. Lyndy volunteered to go as well to help them at the airport and have some time alone with her mom. Everyone went to bed after dinner was cleaned up and the family sat around chatting. Amy and Ty made the rounds and headed to their room. Ty had noticed that Amy had been a little more touchy feely all day so his hopes were high. As they walked in the room he headed to get ready for bed expecting her to do the same. When he walked out of the bathroom in his boxers he noticed she was not at her table doing her nightly ritual. He called out, "Amy where are you." He looked toward the bed and noticed the lights were dim and then saw Amy under the covers. He went to say something and she pulled off the covers letting him see that she was laying there in her birthday suit. She huffed, "Took you long enough and by the way you are overdressed." As he climb in the boxers became history and Amy went on the passionate assault. She rolled him over on his back and began to attack him with her lips and hands. As she kissed him deeply her hands reached their target and began stroking him into a hardened frenzy. He could barely catch his breath as he moaned her name over and over. She smiled, "You like that Dr. Borden. I thought we might practice for this weekend. I have wanted you all day." He couldn't even speak as she lowered her mouth down to him. He arched his back as she pleasured him completely. Somehow he was able to get his fingers between her legs and joined in on the fun. She gasped but didn't release her hold on him. They were frantic as they pleased the areas that needed to be pleased. Amy kept up until Ty exploded releasing a flood of his love for her. She reach orgasm several times as his fingers and then his tongue were engaged completely. They continued to move together in heated foreplay until again Amy took over. She rolled him over and lowered herself on his manhood. Their wetness made for smooth love making and she began to ride him like a cowgirl. They continued for a while until he noticed she was losing steam. He rolled her over and they both exploded again. Each of them felt the other's warmth and eventually collapsed in each other arms. It took a while to recover but finally Amy whispered, "Ok that was amazing, you are amazing Ty." He smiled, "Miracle Girl you are the amazing one." After I love yous and a final really passionate kiss they fell asleep, never wanting to let the love of their life go.
Before they knew it was Wednesday morning breakfast, the day that Annie, Maddie and Addie were leaving. Breakfast chatter was active. Maddie smiled, "Well we are all packed up and ready to go." A normally giddy girl became a little sullen, "I am sure going to miss you all." Lyndy smiled and went to give her a hug, "Sis, you will have a blast, all of you will. And the bonus is I get to have a lot of time with my honey bear." JT looked at her sternly, "Please don't call my buddy a honey bear, that is weird." They all chuckled at him as Lyndy went to say she was sorry. Amy went over the plan for the day, "Don't forget girls we have to leave right after lunch to get Soraya and her kids. You are all packed so Dad and Wyatt will put your bags in the car. Make a last check of your backpacks and I will give your passports to Soraya along with any medical information. Dad and I have an envelope for each of you with cash and keep it in your carryon and keep an eye on it. Use it smartly and if you run out Soraya will cover you and we will pay her back. Remember lunch is here for all of us." They all smiled and shook their heads in agreement. The kids headed out planning to spend a lot of time together, even going on a sibling trail ride. Amy and Ty smiled as they noticed that they had decided this. The morning went fast and soon they were sitting at the table having a light lunch. Once finished, backpacks were checked and money envelopes secured. Annie, Addie and Maddie hugged their siblings and Wyatt but saved a special one for their dad. He whispered to each of them as he held them each tightly. Amy and Lyndy hustled them into the SUV and they headed to get Soraya, Camilla and Caroline. An excited Walsh family were on the porch waiting. The girls ran out to greet their friends as Dillon and Soraya loaded the bags. Dillon laughed, "Kind of a big SUV and filled with 8 women. I am glad I have to go back to work." He kissed his girls and saved a big hug and kiss for his wife, that resulted in a bunch of girls hooting and hollering. The ride was full of active chatter and Soraya and Amy sat in front smiling at how close the girls were. Amy pulled up and the entire group piled out and grabbed their stuff. Lyndy went with them as Amy parked the SUV. Since Maddie was only 13, Amy and Lyndy got passes to go to the gate. Once she parked she made her way there as luckily check in had gone smoothly. She walked up to the gate to see 5 giggling girls and Soraya and Lyndy in a deep conversation. She went to sit by them as the other girls barely noticed her. She laughed, "Soraya are you sure you are up for this?" Lyndy added, "I don't know if I could handle all of them together, you are a trooper for sure." Soraya smiled, "They are all such good girls, it will be fine. I am more worried for the flight attendants, especially with Maddie." The three of them chuckled as the gate attendant called boarding. After last minute hugs Amy and Lyndy watch them board and waited for the plane to take off. Their adventure was about to begin.
On the ride home Amy and Lyndy spoke quietly. Amy looked over to her, "What were you and Soraya in such deep discussion about when I walked up?" Lyndy blushed, "She was asking about Wyatt and his story. And we kind of talked about you and dad. She gave me some of the details of you relationship early on. Man you two were something, lots of peaks and valleys. She said she always know that you two were meant for each other from the first time you almost ran him over." Amy smiled remembering their early years, "Yea it was something. When he revved that engine I wanted to kill him but after I almost ran him over and I found out who he was and felt something, especially when he told me he was sorry about my mom. At the time I didn't understand and we were both so immature. I know we have said it before but it was like my mom knew we would end up together." A slight tear was in Amy's eye and Lyndy smiled grabbing her free hand. The rest of the ride was quiet and when they got back home, they hugged and headed to see their men. Ty was looking over a horse but he saw Amy he stopped to hug her, noticing watery eyes, "So how did the airport go, are you OK?" She leaned into him, "Yea, I just love you." He held her and decided not to respond figuring they would talk later. He got back to the horse and Amy went to see what was up with the horse Wyatt was with. Lyndy went to see Wyatt and he was working with the most challenging horse he ever had. She went to stand next to Georgie and whispered, "How is it going?" Georgie smiled, "Not too well, this horse is a lot to handle. But he is being patient. See how he is reacting to Wyatt's direction, he is really stubborn. Wyatt is holding his own but he is going to have to work to gain his trust." Lyndy smiled as she watched his focus feeling warm inside. She loved him so much. They were joined by Amy as Georgie joked, "All done with your lovin with your man." Amy laughed, "Whatever, how are things going?" Georgie spoke, "Amy this horse is a handful, I hope it works out. Maybe he is too much for Wyatt." Lyndy stepped in, "Mom, Georgie, he's got this, please let him try. We talked this morning and working with this horse means a lot to him." It had been an hour and Wyatt was showing signs of getting tired. Both Amy and Georgie realized that the more tired he got the more dangerous it was for him. Amy was just about to stop him when Lyndy grabbed her arm, "Look mom the horse is responding." Sure enough the stubborn stallion was moving his ears, turning into Wyatt and licking it's lips. To their pleasant surprise, Wyatt turned away and the horse came up nuzzling his back shoulder. Wyatt was breathing heavy and sweating as he greeted the horse, smiling at the three of them and then focusing on Lyndy. She smiled and breathlessly whispered, "You did it, that was amazing."
The travelers were about half way through their 9+ hour flight. It was weird for the Borden girls as they left in the afternoon and would arrive the next day in London at dinner time, but late morning at home, a 7 hour difference. Soraya laughed as they talked about it. "Well I will tell you a secret. Tonight we will stay up a little later and you will be Ok tomorrow. I am not going to lie though, the flight back will be much harder to adjust to, thank goodness you are young." Soraya encouraged them to nap but figure that would be tough. As the plane began to descend the kids were straining to look out the window. When they touched down they were ready to go. Soraya texted Amy, Ty and Dillon to let them know they were there. Dillon was having dinner with the Bordens later so they would video call home just before dinner Calgary time but almost midnight for the travelers. As they walked past security Camilla was the first to scream "Look there they are." They came up to a large group of greeters with signs and balloons. There were several signs saying welcome home and then a separate sign for each of the girls. Dillon's mom was the first to greet the three of them and the rest of the family followed. Several of Dillon's siblings and their kids were there. It was an impressive and noisy group. Camilla and Caroline introduced their new Canadian friends and the hugs continued. Soraya went with Dillon's dad, brother and brother-in-law to fetch the suitcases as the frenzied greeting continued. They loaded up in several cars and headed to his family's farm for a big feast. Soraya would be staying at the house and the girls would be bunking at the guest house next to it. As they were driving Maddie spoke out. "Mr. Walsh you are on the wrong side of the street and are sitting on the wrong side of the front seat?" He laughed, "Welcome to England sweetie. We think it is you who are all wrong." They all laughed as the drive home was less than a half hour. When they pull up to the family farm, the Borden girls were wide eyed as Annie whispered to Camilla, "This place is beautiful." She smiled, "Yes it is, just no mountains." Addie added, "And it is so green here." Dillon's mom laughed, "Well it rains a lot her so green is the result. But the weather while you are here is going to be great with a fair amount of sun." The caravan pulled up and the kids saw where they would be and unpacked. Some of the famliy had stayed back to prepare dinner so Camilla and Caroline along with some of their cousins took the Borden girls around. They toured the property close to the houses, went to the pond and then to the barn. The family only had family horses but there were at least a dozen of them. The Walsh family were in the dairy cattle and farming business. Some of Dillons 5 siblings were in the business except him and one sister who was a teacher. The property was about the same size as Heartland. As they introduced all the horses Maddie asked, "Can we go for a trail ride?" Caroline smiled, "For sure we can several times, but we have to help mom. Some of the stuff we have to do will be hard on her." The five girls made a decision that they would be there for her. It would be a great trip.
The dinner was a lot of fun with a lot of questions about the business and the family. Dillon's mom looked at Maddie and asked, "Is it true that you and the PM of Canada are best friends?" Everyone stopped to listen to her answer, "Well we kind of talk every once in a while. Mrs. Trudeau is really close with my mom and they have been there for each other a lot. And we are close to their whole family, they have 6 kids and most are around our ages. And their oldest daughter attends the University of Calgary and her boyfriend works with us too. So I guess we are all close." The family sat impressed and Dillon's younger sister asked, "So is it true that your sister Lyndy's boyfriend lives with you in the room right next to hers?" Annie took this one, "Well yes but there is a story. Wyatt's parents died in a car crash when he was a toddler and his grandma raised him. Lyndy and he became friends and more and he started hanging with our family a lot. Our family has a reputation for helping those who are alone and lost. My dad kind of came to us needing a place to be and well he kind of stayed. Wyatt's grandma passed away and he didn't want to move to the States with family he didn't really know. So my parents obtained guardianship rights and he moved in. It's a little weird but he is really cool and well Lyndy is in love.." The family chuckled at the stories. After dinner, the kids hung out and Soraya sat around with her in-laws. It was late but they had the call to make so they hung out in the guest house as the rest of the family went to bed. Right on time the laptop sprung to life with a call from home. The screen lit up with Ty, Amy, Dillon and the kids. Everyone excitedly said hello and the kids especially greeted their parents. The travelers spoke mostly about the trip and the family farm. Amy was impressed with the horses and when Annie told the story about Lyndy and Wyatt, they blushed. After a while, the kids began to yawn so the adults decided to end it. After a bunch of I love yous they set a couple more times for calls in the morning in Hudson and Soraya quietly said she would call Dillon back shortly. The kids got in bed and Soraya who decided to stay with them got comfortable to call her husband. Day one of their trip had been awesome.
Back home the family was finishing up their Thursday work as everyone was heading out the next morning. It was a rarity but the Borden house would be empty until Sunday afternoon when the fishing group as well as Amy and Ty returned. Dinner was lively even though it was just a small group. JT had Trent over and he was spending the night so Amy and Ty could take the four of them to Heartland and then head to Pike River. Everyone was excited and looking forward to their trips and also for the call they would have in the mornings from England. JT, Trent and Wyatt were talking about how many fish they expected to catch and were catching some grief from his dad, "You guys sure sound like fisherman, always exaggerating things. You will probably get shut out." Trent looked at him confidentially, "Mr. Borden I know we will catch some, GG has promised us." Ty laughed realizing that he called Jack GG. Most people except family call him GG. Amy smiled a little choked up, "So you call him GG?" Trent smiled, "When I first met him he told me to. He knew I never had one and he would love to volunteer as mine. I think he considers my mom his granddaughter." Now Amy, Ty and Lyndy were a little choked up as they smiled at him. JT said coolly, "Then you and I are cousins I guess because my mom has always said your mom is like a sister." They finished dinner and watched a little TV before turning in early. Amy and Ty sat with the boys telling them to have fun and reminding them to mind GG and Grandpa. Ty spoke to them quietly, "And JT be nice to your sister and Wyatt and listen to what they say as well. You know Lyndy is quite the fisherman so I bet she can show you a few things." They both smiled as Amy and Ty kissed them good night. As they went to Lyndy's room they heard soft talking. Amy knocked asking to come it. Lyndy replied and they walked in. "I hope you guys have fun this weekend. We really appreciate you two going. I am sure some time together without those would be nice." Wyatt smiled, "We love JT and Trent, we were just talking about how much fun we are going to have and also want to do more with JT. I am really fond of my brother." Amy smiled realizing her called him his brother. He immediately spoke up, "I hope it is alright but we kind of decided since it is just us two with these crazy girls, we are definitely brothers. And I consider Annie, Addie and Maddie as my sisters." Lyndy chuckled, "I guess he can't me consider me his sister, might be a little weird." They all laughed as Amy and Ty said good night. As they settled in bed they both were quiet but so happy not only with the love they shared but the amazing children they had. Wyatt had fit in so well and they wanted to make sure her continued to feel as if he was a part of their family. Ty spoke up, "What Wyatt said really hit home with me. You know Jack wasn't my real dad but to be honest he was the only real father I have ever had." Amy looked at him and spoke softly, "Babe, I know that Wyatt feels the same about you, I can see it when you guys are together." He smiled and kissed her passionately. When he pulled away he whispered, "Thanks Amy, now we better get some rest, I expect we are going to have a busy weekend.
After a good night's sleep and happy breakfast the crew loaded up in the small SUV and Wyatt's truck for the short trip to Heartland. Wyatt was pulling the 4-horse trailer with Sundance, Blue Boy, Star and Mystic, Maddie's horse that Trent was using. Jack and Tim were bringing their horses in a trailer on Tims truck along with a few extra horses for the other boys. As they all pulled up so did the other boys. Jack, Lisa, Tim and Casey were sitting on the porch with coffees. Jack bellowed, "It's about time, you know those fish aren't just gonna wait for us." JT laughed, "I know GG I told everybody to hustle. Lyndy took too much time, you know how girls are." The group chuckled as Lyndy tickled her little brother. Ty asked, "So what's the plan this weekend. Jack smiled, "Well we should get there around lunch and if fishing goes well we will have a fish fry tonight. May try to sneak in a trail ride as well. Tomorrow some fishing, horseback riding and fun. Lisa and Casey are coming up with food and Tim and I will BBQ. Maybe some smores too. On Sunday some morning fishing, maybe a short ride and then head home. If we have a lot of fish we may have another fish fry on Sunday and you two are invited." Amy smiled and after hugs they headed out. Lisa spoke up, "Now don't have too much fun you two, I mean no kids and no work." They both smiled and got in the truck. Lyndy looked into her mom's eyes as they each had a special smiled meant just for the other. They headed out for the four-hour drive. They sat close, each excited about their weekend. On the way, they called Soraya to check on things. Soraya answered, "Hey you two, aren't you on your romantic weekend?" Amy laughed, "We are on our way just checking in. Are our girls behaving." She smiled, "They have been a lot of help. We have a lot of stuff to go through and it might have been tough with just the three of us. They have had some fun too with the girls and their cousins but I have to say, they are committed. Dillon's family just loves them to death." She went to whisper, "Especially Maddie, my mother-in-law thinks she is a hoot. I expect they will visit soon so I will get with Jenn to get a cabin for them, we just don't have enough room." Amy smiled, "Well if not the girls can stay with us." She laughed, "That might work too, I really think some of his other family may visit as well. It seems the Walsh clan is excited to see how things work in Canada." They said their good byes and Amy focused back on Ty. "Seems all is well with the kids, so now it is just you and me." He laughed remembering their trip to Stumpy's camp where they got engaged, Yea me and you."
As they pulled up to the diner, a tall young man and a shorter young woman walked out to greet them. Amy got out of the SUV and looked at him closely. She finally yelled out, "Sam, is that you?" He smiled, as Amy ran up to hug him. Ty joined in the greeting as they four of them laughed. Sam spoke, "Welcome back you guys, it has been a while, this is my wife, Ju Lei. She is from China and we met at school and somehow I talked her into staying here in Canada and to marry me." He placed his hand on her belly, "And we are expecting our first child later this year." Amy smiled again, "That is amazing, I still remember when you and the town helped us save those horses. How is your mom?" He smiled, "She is great, "We came down early to get things ready for the season. We only open for 8 months a year now. She and her husband will be down in a month or so. She is so sorry she missed you but my step dad is a lawyer and had some things he had to do." Ty spoke now, "Well I know we are excited to be back and have some time together. Is our cabin ready?" Sam laughed, "Well of course the Borden cabin is ready and the diner is up and running. And I bet you are happy, I hear you have a houseful of kids and an amazing business back home." Ty smiled back, "Yes we are a very blessed couple, life is great for all of our family." There was a hesitation and Sam spoke up, "Well let's get you settled in. I expect you want to spend some of that alone time together. We left some drinks, biscuits, fruit and cheese for you to snack on and dinner service starts at 5. Till then we will let you settle in. Oh and by the way we have something special planned for tomorrow night's dinner, my mom's idea." Amy smiled, "Wow fancy. Thanks and we will see you around five." He handed them the key and they walked the familiar path. When they opened the door they saw they familiar but updated setting. The furniture was new, the fireplace had been updated and the main bedroom had a larger bed and was decorated nicely. The bathroom had been enlarged to include a stand-up shower and the second bedroom, also remodeled had two beds in it now. Ty whispered, "This place looks great Mrs. Borden, I think it is time to begin our alone time weekend." Afte they quickly put their stuff away, they quickly undressed each other and hopped into bed. Their afternoon consisted of making love, feeding each other fruit and cheese and later taking a shower before heading over to dinner. The Diner had also been upgraded and they enjoyed a great dinner as Sam and his wife joined them. Each couple was anxious to hear about the other's lives. As they walked back arm in arm, they quietly reminisced about all of their trips here. The got ready for bed and sat by the fire just holding each other. Amy leaned into him for a deep and passionate kiss. Their night would continue with love making and a blissful sleep, dreaming of their life and their weekend together.
The weekend for the three sets of travelers was filled with a lot of fun, fish and love. The England group were still working a little but had a lot of fun time set aside. The entire group and several of Dillon's family spent the afternoon in town where a festival was underway. Maddie laughed, "This place is so much like home, less the mountains. And everyone is so friendly." Soraya chuckled, "Well Maddie since you say hello to everyone I can see where you would think that. But this is a nice town and the people are nice. And it is a lot like home." Camilla added, "I miss home but I really love Hudson because it is so much like this place, less the mountains." The fishing weekend was going very well. On Friday they caught plenty of fish for dinner. And the Saturday BBQ with Lisa and Casey was perfect. Lyndy was impressed with JT's skill as he helped his friends a lot. Even Wyatt benefited from his skill. Jack and Tim sat back amazed at how Lyndy and Wyatt interacted with the five young boys. Tim whispered, "Look at those two, do they remind you of another couple we know." Jack smiled and chuckled, "They sure do less the juvenile delinquent thing." A small tear came to his eye, "And Lyndy she looks so much like her mom and Marion." Tim remained quiet as they both watched them until Tim spoke quietly, "I told Ty once that he was the real deal. Well that young man is as well." At Pike River, true to their word Amy and Ty had a lot of time together. They took a couple of hikes rested by the river and spent a lot of "Alone" time. The surprise dinner was amazing. A few years back Joanna had redone the gazebo. It had clear drop downs and a heater so it could be used in colder weather. Sam and his wife blindfolded them and took them to it. As they opened their eyes they saw a beautifully set up table for two with nice linens and a flower bouquet. Ty and Amy were overwhelmed with emotion as they sat and were served an exquisite dinner with Amy's favorite maple bacon ice cream for desert. Sam laughed at her reaction to the ice cream and he admitted, "We talked to your daughter Lyndy, so blame her." Ty and Amy sat closely looking out at the beautiful scene in front of them. Amy smiled at her husband, her eyes full of love. After she kissed him she whispered, "I'm glad you said that you didn't want to do it alone that you wanted to do it with me." He smiled and kissed her back, "It was the best time ever, for I had the love of my life back." They sat for a while longer in each other's arms and more in love that ever.
