Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Three
Updates, Parties, Dances and Love
A/N – Thanks for allowing my detour and I hope you liked it. So back to reality. It was fun writing about Lilly's competition as I was able to use some personal experience to develop it. Although the hacking incident is past I am still on the shelf about any Val and/or Ashley revisits. I have had some feedback and many of you want to have me go there so we shall see. I hope the medical updates on Lilly and JT were good for everyone. I have a lot of ideas on where to take our little buddy so we shall see. The family is on the road to the end of the school year and a couple of really big birthdays. I will be inserting a few surprises but for the most part I will continue to focus on the Borden family. Thanks as always for the reviews and ideas, I really enjoy hearing from you. Mature Content Enjoy!
Still on a bit of a high from the dancing competition and seeing Lilly the family was settling back into school and work. Lyndy continued to receive congratulations from the family, her friends and several teachers at Hudson High. But her favorite was the one she received from Wyatt. When they had some time together, he hugged her tightly telling her how proud he was and how much he loved her. They had missed each other, even though they talked often. They made plans for a date soon and were both excited. JT was also on cloud nine. He spoke proudly at dinner one night, "You all should have seen Grandma Lilly, she was amazing and is really feeling good. I was so happy to see a little gleam back in her eyes." Amy looked at him and smiled, "Well your news is also great honey, don't you want to tell the girls about that?" He looked down, "I am happy but I have to stay focused on her, Grandma Marion said I need to stay with her and always give her support. She said she needed me." The table got quiet as the girls still wanted to hear so Ty went over the details. They smiled broadly and took turns hugging their little brother. Annie and Addie talked about the upcoming 4th grade dance. Annie smiled, "Jeremy is excited and I think Desi is too. And Bella can't stop talking about it." Addie jumped in, "And Troy asked Camilla to go with him as well and she almost fainted. Mom, since we have the big SUV can we all go together. We want to go to Maggie's before we go to the dance so we will need a ride there, to the dance and home." Ty chuckled, "Sure, we can do that and maybe mom and I can hang with you guys?" They sat with their eyes wide open hoping they were joking. Maddie laughed, "You two are weird, like they want you to hang with them." Amy fake pouted then broke out in laughter, "Girls we are just kidding, dad or I will be happy to be your chauffer." Maddie went on an one about the end of year party and how Caroline was such a great rider. "Mom can you give her some jumping lessons, I think she really wants to learn and I know she can do it." Annie looked at Lyndy and spoke up, "Maddie, Lynn and I will work with her if that is Ok?" She smiled in agreement. JT had been quiet since the conversation about his checkup but joined in. "Trent and I have been hanging with Shawna Saunders. Trent wants to get to know her as it seems his mom and her dad have gone out several times. They even had them over for dinner a couple of times. She is new to Pre-K and we are helping her meet some people." Addie interrupted, "Yea, we hear that his mom and Mr. Saunders are a hot item, I heard some of the day care staff talking about it." Annie swooned, Her dad is kind of dreamy, no offense dad you are still considered the hot dad by most of our friends." The girls giggled as Wyatt and JT rolled their eyes. Amy smiled, "I agree he is a handsome man and they make a great looking couple but no one compares to my dreamboat." The girls giggling continued as Ty blushed slightly leaning into her. JT came to him and whispered, "Don't let them get to you, me, you and Wyatt need to stick together." As a united front they sat together looking at the silly women in the family. Things settled and they had desert. It was quiet for a bit when Lyndy spoke up, Mom how did the meeting go with you old friend and the one with GG, Mimi and her mother? Amy's face turned serious as she struggled to answer her question.
As soon as she said it Lyndy wanted to take it back, "Sorry mom I shouldn't have asked." The kids interests was sparked as they looked at her. Amy took a breath and answered her, "Well it was nice for Mrs. Walsh and I to have a chance to talk with her. It had been a long time and to be honest it was a little awkward at first. Ashley and I were not friends at first, in fact we didn't care for each other. And she tried to hit on your father years ago. But after we helped rescue her horse we became close and the three of us were pretty tight." Ty smiled, "You guys should have seen these three, they were something to be reckoned with." The kids smiled as Amy resumed, "Although she has always had money, her dad died when she was young and her mom wasn't always there for her. To her defense she had a very large business to run and didn't always spend time with her. Her brother and her were partiers and always were causing trouble." Lyndy smiled, "That's right dad decked him once when you were dating him. And that is the night of the infamous ride home." They all smiled remembering the story. Amy continued, "It was nice to catch up and I hope we stay in touch. She is really busy with their business and her mom is not well. Once things settled we promised to catch up." Ty smiled as they sat quietly and began to talk. "GG and Mimi had a great talk with her mom, Val too. Kids her mom is very sick and her cancer is terminal." JT looked at Wyatt and had to speak, "What does that mean daddy?" He was worried that they would ask that so he pulled him onto his lap, "Well buddy, her cancer cannot be cured so soon it will get worse and she will pass away." They all sat on edge as he pondered the comment from his father. "You mean like GG Lyndy's cancer. She told me the story and I asked GG to talk to me about it." Startled, Amy asked, "And how did that go?" He smiled, "I really wanted to know because of what Grandma Lilly was going through. He was very honest with me about it and it helped me understand more about her illness." He paused, "Don't worry mommy I understand and am Ok. It just helps me when I talk to her and try to encourage her to fight. I told her as well." No one could speak until finally Ty spoke brokenly, "Well buddy, I know grandma it much better and you are a big part of that." The family cleaned up quietly and went to get ready for bed.
Amy and Ty went to say good night to all of them , spending a few extra minutes with JT. Lyndy apologized again for bringing up the visit with her friend and the one with her mom, GG and Lisa. Amy smiled, "It's Ok honey, we wanted to talk to you all about it anyway so just as good now than later." Wyatt smiled, "JT was amazing. Afterwards he pulled me aside and asked if he made you guys sad. I told him no and in fact told him that he made you proud." Ty put his arm on Wyatt's shoulder, "Thanks Wyatt, he really looks up to you and we are really happy about that." They said good night and as typical, Ty tapped his wrist mouthing 10 minutes and Amy slapped his arm. They all laughed as Amy and Ty headed to their room. It had been an emotional time since they returned from Colorado and they really needed each other. Ty sat in bed thinking about his mom and Amy's visit with Ashley. Amy sat at her dressing table finishing up her lotion and combing her hair. Ty was pulled back to reality as he watched her doing something he never tired of. She came to bed and cuddled into him. He whispered, "Are you Ok?" She smiled into his chest, "I am now." He looked down and gently ran his hand through her hair pulling her in for a kiss. It was not aggressive or wanting, it was deep and caring. They seemed to kiss for a while until Amy pulled back whispering, "Thank you Ty." He smiled as she rolled on top of him feeling the heat building in each of their bodies. Slowly and seductively they helped each other take their pajamas off. Amy began to kiss and use her hands in all the right places. Ty arched his back as she stroked him up and down, hardening his manhood. She moved down to use her mouth and tongue to continue her sensual attack. Ty regained his composure and was able to use his touch to ignite her pleasure as her moans joined his. They pleasured each other for almost an hour taking a moment from time to time to catch their breath. They giggled, moaned and whispered, "I love you" many times. Their breathing increased and a gleam of sweat was forming on their naked bodies. Their love making was as natural as walking and talking and they were one as they pleasured each other. The passion intensified as Amy had orgasmed several times. She felt that Ty was ready so he moved over her and she open herself to his love. Her legs wrapped around him as they joined as one. Their movements were gentle at first but at her beckoning he increased his movement until they were both lost in their bliss. When they climaxed as usual Ty continued on for a few minutes until they collapsed, panting heavily, bathed in sweat. After a few minutes they regained their composure. There was no need for words as they held each other closely.
Over the next weeks, the family was active with school, work and spending time together. One day Amy, Georgie and Katie were standing together watching Lyndy work with a challenging horse. Amy laughed, "Standing between you two is not a great idea, I definitely don't want to catch what you have," putting her hands on each of their expanding bellies. They all giggled as Lyndy looked over sternly, "Hello need you guys to focus." They got serious looks and smiled at the young trainer. As they continued both Amy and Katie noticed that Georgie seemed a little uncomfortable. Katie recommended that the three of them go to the office to sit and have some water. Lyndy looked over as well completely understanding. They held on to Georgie as she seemed to be getting worse. When the finally got seated, Georgie was feeling off as she was having some bad cramps. Lyndy had noticed her distress, stepped away from the horse and went to get Steven. As he came into the office as calmly as he could he saw Amy trying to calm her and Katie on the phone with their doctor. Katie was describing what she was feeling and listening intently as Steve joined Amy in comforting his wife. Katie finished the call and looked at them with concern. "G, the doc wants us both to come in and see her. I have an appointment tomorrow but she wants to see you and figured I could have my visit as well." As Amy listened she texted Clay and Lou. When Clay came into the office they gathered their stuff up and the two young couples got into Clay's truck and headed out. Amy called Lou and told her what was going on and that Katie would call her. Ty came in with Lyndy as well, both with concerned looks. Amy hugged her husband and opened up, "We were watching Lyndy and Katie and I noticed that Georgie was uncomfortable. I hope she Is Ok." The ride to the doctors was quiet and luckily short as Georgie's discomfort increased. When they got to the doctors, Clay got a wheelchair as they were worried that she couldn't walk comfortably. Georgie continued to feel uncomfortable and as they waited her sister held her hand tightly. Back at the ranch and Heartland the family were going through the motions as they waited to hear anything. Lou had come to the Miracle Ranch to wait and go over some things with her sister. They sisters were on the porch when Clay's truck pulled up. They stood as a happy Katie bounced there was as her checkup had gone well. She went to hug her mom and whispered, 'You grandbaby is great mom and I am right on schedule for late August. As they chatted, Clay went around to help Steven get Georgie to the porch. She looked a lot better but still walked a little gingerly. She smiled as Lou and Amy approached her and spoke up, "Well the baby is good but it seems I have an iron deficiency, like it did with the twins. The doc gave me some supplements and I have to see her every two weeks so she can monitor it. I have to also listen to my body better, she kind of yelled at me." Amy and Lou looked at her sternly as Amy laughed, "Well we will be watching over you as well and if you don't do a good job I will tell Maddie and you know what will happen then." Georgie opened her eyes wide, "I will do better, let's keep this from her as long as possible." They all laughed and headed to the barn.
As the next few weeks carried on Amy and Ty noticed that the kids were focused but also anxious for summer. There was a lot of fun stuff on the way and they were all excited. The Trudeau kids were coming for an extended stay as their parents were going to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a romantic trip. The Bordens had been talking with them and were finalizing the plans. Also on the docket were two pretty big birthdays. Lyndy would be turning 16 and Ty 40 so plans were already in play to make both of then special. The jumping season was being set up and Lyndy, Annie and Maddie were going to compete. Lyndy had privately told her mom that this would be her last as she wanted to focus on dance and helping horses. Although she would miss it she was content with her decision. She was chatting with her mom one day and asked her, "Mom, how did you walk away from competition?" Amy smiled, "Well like you, working with horses was always my focus and to be honest, I felt like it was time. I talked to dad a lot and he promised to support whatever decision I made. That helped." Lyndy smiled, "Funny Wyatt said the same thing." Also on tap was the second annual Marion Fleming Special Kids Jumping Competition which looked as though it was going to be bigger than ever. Word had gotten out and they were already receiving request from all around western Canada and the northwest US. And the company rodeo plans were in place as well. Addie was talking to Caleb and Ty one day and asked, "We should name the company rodeo after GG, he may complain but deep down I think he would like it." Caleb smiled and Ty pulled her into a hug, "That is a great idea honey." So with all of this planned, the kids decided to bear down on school and finish the year strong. Work for the family was beginning to pick up as well as the social activities for the kids. The twins were getting ready for their class dance in a couple of weeks and went dress shopping with Lyndy, Maddie and their mom. It was a fun girls day as they went to several shops and had lunch together. Amy and the other two girls picked up some new clothes as well. When the puled up to the house they laughed when they say Ty, Wyatt and JT standing stoically on the porch waiting for them. JT spoke up first, "Well how much did you spend. I hope you realize we aren't made of money." He glanced up to his dad to make sure he said it right. Amy caught on right away and looked her little boy in the eyes. "No matter what your dad told you to say, that is our business and none of yours. Now you three go on and do manly things while us girls look over everything we bought. In fact we have so much we need your help bringing it in." The girls giggled proudly of their mom taking charge. Amy gave a sweet smiled to Ty as they walked in and whispered, "Have I told you how much I love you?" Wyatt overheard them and whispered to Lyndy, "Man you guys must have spent a lot." She giggled leaning into him and whispered, "Wait until you see what I bought for our date." He blushed as the group headed into the house.
It was the day of the 7th grade dance as well as Maddie and JT's class parties. In the morning Maddie was fired up making sure she dressed right and that her mom had the treats that she committed to bring. Amy calmed her, "Madelene, you need to calm down and remember I volunteered to help and will bring the treat." She huffed but smiled giving her mom a hug. As she scampered to the bus, Ty asked, "She seems more worked up than normal, what is up." Amy smiled, leaning into him, "Well I think there is a boy she fancies and wanted to wear her new dress for him. And the treat we made is his favorite." Ty shrugged, "Already, I thought we had a little more time." She giggled and kissed his cheek, "Well we Borden women are big romantics for sure, I blame you." JT was much more in control and was excited because his dad had offered to help and was bringing pigs in a blanket, which was his favorite. As Amy arrived Maddie's room was buzzing with excitement. The kids had decorated and it looked great as several of the parents commented to their kids. There were games planned and fun activities and Maddie made sure that Caroline, Gwen and Trudy were always with her. She bashfully walked up to her mom with a young boy in tow. "Mom, this is Ricky, Ricky this is my mom." Amy smiled and leaned down to shake his hand. He blushed and politely spoke, "Hi Mrs. Borden, I am Ricky Page." Amy smiled and something came across her mind. "Is you mom's name Sandra?" He smiled, "Yes do you know her." Yes a long time ago I help her and her horse get back together to trick ride again and over the years I helped he several other times. My nieces took ballet from her. Did you move back to Hudson?" He smiled, "Yes, we moved back during Christmas. My daddy got a new job and my mommy is going to start teaching ballet again." Well, you make sure you tell her Amy Fleming, now Borden said hello and to give me a call." Maddie smiled as there was enough talking and went with him back to the party. Amy smiled to herself remembering her old friend, especially how she helped her when her and Ty were on their break." She said goodbye to Maddie and her friends after the party ended and couldn't wait to get back to tell Ty the news about Sandra and her family.
After a successful parties Ty and Amy had a light dinner for the dance group and pizza for everyone else. Addie, Annie, Camilla, Bella and Maya were getting ready in the twins room. JT and Wyatt had hid in the barn as Amy, Lyndy and Maddie were helping them out. Luckily, Ty had gone to get the three young boys to bring them to the house and avoided most of the mayhem. To make it special, Lou had a table ready for the 8 of them and had it all fancied up with table clothes and nice dinnerware. As the four of them drove back to the Miracle Ranch he struck up a conversation. "So, you guys ready for tonight." Desi and Jeremy hesitated a little as Desi answered. "Yes sir Dr. Borden and we promise we will be very gentlemanly and make sure the girls are taken care of. Maya and Bella are still getting some mean looks at times but it has gotten better." Ty smiled making the boys feel more at ease. Troy looked confused, "Did something happen with them?" Jeremy went over the incident when him when Desi and a few other boys stood up for the two friends when they were being harassed since they were gay. Troy was genuinely surprised and congratulated them on their effort. He smiled, "Well if needed you can count on me. I hate bullies and can't believe they are so mean." Ty smiled and felt as though his girls, Camilla, Maya and Bella would be in good hands. The five girls sat giggling in the living room waiting for the boys. Amy, Lyndy and Maddie were taking care of some final touches. Maddie looked out the window and screamed, "They're here!" The door opened as the three well-dressed young men came in followed Ty inside. Wyatt and JT walked in behind them and stood to the side with Ty looking over the scene. Amy looked over to Ty as she saw a little mist in his eyes as Annie and Addie looked beautiful. The kids met with some hugs and you look beautiful comments. They gathered for several pictures in front of the fire place and loaded up in the SUV with Ty and Amy. After a nice dinner at Maggie's where their Aunt Lou put on a great show, they walked out to Ty and Lyndy waiting for them. The short ride to school was fun as they were dropped off with a reminder that Ty would be back at 11:00 to get them The dance was over at 10:30 but they asked for a little time to hang out with friends. Lyndy smiled when the kids headed in and grabbed her dad's hand, "How are you doing daddy? Don't they look beautiful." He smiled unable to talk but finally whispered, "They sure do honey, I still remember all the times your mom and I would get dressed up, she was always beautiful, like you." They smiled as he started the SUV to head home.
As the group entered the dance, a lot of eyes headed their way. Several other friends came over to greet them and as always the Borden girls were the center of attention. They had reserved a table for 8 so after they dropped off their clutches and the girls and boys huddled with their friends. The hall looked amazing with sparkling lights and streamers everywhere. The kids regrouped at the table and had some light snacks and drinks that were provided. Desi, Jeremy and Troy beamed with pride as they felt their dates were definitely the hottest there. And Maya and Bella looked amazing as well and they made sure they complemented them too, which Annie and Addie really liked. Bella laughed as they were being gawked over and laughed, "So you think us gay girls are hot too." Troy blushed amazed at how comfortable she was with her life and said, "Yea, you two are looking pretty good, you just need to keep your hands off each other, you are making us guys look bad." Everyone laughed as the couple blushed. As the music started the kids all began to dance both fast and slow songs. When the fast songs played, the boys kind of stepped back as the girls along with other friends, were dancing up a storm. But when a slow song came on they immediately coupled up. Addie was leaning into Desi and whispered, "You look very nice, kind of hot." He laughed pulling her in and as they looked over at their friends she whispered, "Troy really like Camilla, I don't think he has taken his eyes off of her all night." He leaning to give her a kiss, "I know the feeling." Enjoying the moment Bella and Maya bumped into them, "Cool your jets you lovebirds." The group laughed and continued their dance. As the dance continued, the three boys couldn't help but notice that Bella and Maya were starting to get some stairs from a group of trouble makers. While the band was on a break they decided to cut them off at the pass. Along with a few other friends they headed over to them unnoticed by their dates but under the wary eye of several of the teachers. Troy took the lead and approached the group, "Hey do you have a problem, we have been watching you losers looking at our friends." One of the smirked, "You mean the two lesbos, yea it ain't right. They are both hot and need a man in their life." Troy moved forcefully toward the boy who made the rude comment and got in his face. Alarmed, Desi, Jeremy and the other boys came over as well. He continued, "Well you have no right to say things about them like that. They are our friends and I would like you to apologize." Everyone watching was holding their breath and Camilla was awestruck at her maybe boyfriends calm demeanor. The boy that made the comment stepped back as Troy was a pretty menacing figure for a 13-year-old. The rest of the bullies also stepped back and one spoke, "We don't want any trouble, maybe we spoke out of line." Troy, Desi, Jeremy and the other boys stood firm as the bullies retreated.
Once it was over the girls went to them taking them with smiled and big hugs. Bella walked up to Troy and looking over to Camilla said, "Girl you better hold on to this man or I may have to change my ways." The entire group laughed and went back to dancing. Ty and Amy pulled up at exactly 11:00 as promised and the group took their seats. They were still buzzing as the dance was a lot of fun. Ty smiled, "How about a late-night milk shake at Maggie's on us." Amy smiled adding, "Don't worry your parents know." The kids hustled in and got their shakes as Amy and Ty sat at the bar splitting one. Amy smiled, "Thanks for the shake Dr. Borden, you are a good date." He smiled and leaned into kiss her but not before the kids hooted and hollered at them. After dropping everyone off it was a little after midnight when they got home. As they entered, Wyatt and Lyndy sat with a disturbed look on their faces acting all parental. She spoke, "Where have you kids been it is past curfew." Amy laughed, "Sorry mom, my date and I went to get a shake, now we are going to bed together." Wyatt couldn't keep a straight face and burst out in laughter. Lyndy you better be nice, we have our date tomorrow and they may be waiting up for us." She calmed and went to talk to her sisters about the dance. Amy and Ty made sure everyone was in their rooms and headed to bed. After a big yawn as Amy laid in bed with her husband, "Way too late for me my love, good night." They both fell asleep quickly in each other's arms. The main conversation at a late breakfast was about how Troy stood up to the bullies and how they wimped out. Addie laughed, "I thought Camilla was going to faint watching him, she really likes him for sure." Annie laughed, "Yea but our guys were right there with him telling those mean boys off." They sat for a moment and JT spoke up. "I don't understand why they are so mean to Bella and Maya. They really like each other and that is cool. Mommy, why are people so mean to them just because they like each other." Amy thought for a second and answered. "Well when two girls or two boys are a couple some people don't understand and say hurtful things." JT sat for a second and smiled, "Well one of the girls in my class has two dads and she loves them both so much. I have met them when they pick her and her little brother up and they are funny." The family smiled at the young boys open-mindedness. Annie interrupted, "But Bella made the funniest comment of the night. After everything happened she went to thank Troy and hugged him. She looked over to Camilla and told her to watch out as she might change her ways to swoop him away." The table broke out in laughter as JT sat quietly. Wyatt leaned over rand whispered in his ear and then he shook his head in understanding. Lyndy looked over with the "Tell me later look." After breakfast they headed out for the day.
Everyone had a good day hanging with the horses and family. Midafternoon the girls headed to the house to help Lyndy get ready for her date. Wyatt had wanted to do something special to celebrate her success in Colorado and just because her cared for her so much. So this would be a step up from a regular date. The had an early dinner planned at the nice Italian restaurant in town, a movie they were both dying to see and then a shake after at Maggie's. Although Amy and Ty hadn't given them a curfew, he assured them that they would be home by 11ish. Lyndy was really excited because she planned to wear her new outfit that she had bought on the girls shopping trip. Her dad may be a little concerned but even still appropriate for her age, he would just be a dad. The girls were hovering around her as they helped her with her hair and a little makeup. Like her mom she never wore a lot as like her mom as she was naturally beautiful. She had watched over the years how her dad would look at her and knew this was the right look for her too. She loved her mom deeply and also was proud to have her and Grandma Marion's look and features. Too many of her friends wore too much makeup and dressed a little too risqué for her taste but there was one thing she knew. Wyatt loved the way she looked and dressed and was always complementing her, just like her dad did with her mom. It was all she needed. It was time to get her new outfit on so she stepped into the bathroom and when she was done she walked out to show her sisters. Annie gasped, "Lyndy, you look amazing, Wyatt is going to flip." Addie was a little more subdued and Lyndy was concerned, "Adds what's wrong?" She smiled meekly, "You look so much like mom and Grandma Marion. I don't know I just wish we could have met her." The four girls had a moment as Lyndy waited for Maddie's comment. Her outfit was perfect for a cowgirl. The skirt flared out a little and was just above her knees complimenting her ankle high black dress boots. He top was purplish and like her mom really brought out her eyes and soft blonde hair which hung on her shoulder and was curled. Lyndy always kept her hair a little shorter that her mom and sisters because of her dancing, although it was as long as it had ever been. She got the feeling that Wyatt liked it longer so she didn't mind. Her top was not form fitting but did accentuate her figure just enough to gain his eye and to worry her dad. She never wore much jewelry but made sure she wore the pieces that Wyatt had given her. She also wore a ring that her mom had given her a few years ago that used to belong to GG Lyndy. It was special to her and felt this was the night to wear it. After looking her over Maddie's opinion was about to be heard. The three girls liked on as she spoke, "Lyndy, you look hot, Wyatt just might faint when he sees you. I am going to tell him you are ready and also to meet us downstairs, we need the grand walk down the stairs." The girls giggles and she headed out.
Meanwhile, with JT supervising, Wyatt was getting ready in the room next to Lyndy's. JT was quiet as Wyatt spent a little more time than usual picking something out. He had a nice pair of jeans and cowboy boots. He was struggling with a shirt to wear but know that Lyndy's top was purple. After some frustration, her asked JT to get his mom for support. Amy and Ty came in smiling and she spoke up, "Need some help?" He smiled blushing, looking at Amy "Yep, I know what color she is wearing but not what it looks like, can you help me pick one out?" She laughed and Ty spoke up, "What you don't want my opinion?" Wyatt looked at both of them, "Well both of your ideas would be great. I like when you guys complement each other on what you are wearing when you are going out and I want Lyndy to think the same." Amy put her head down trying to control her emotions as they looked over the options. Almost simultaneously they picked out the same shirt. I was a darker green and they both knew she would love it and it would complement her outfit. Ty had something behind his back and spoke up. "It's gonna be cold tonight so I have something for you. This is a dress leather jacket that Amy gave me years ago and I want you to have it. I think it will go well with your outfit and I bet Lyndy will love it." Amy smiled, "I know I did." Wyatt was overwhelmed, "No, I can't take your jacket." Ty smiled, "Don't worry it was her idea." They smiled and headed out but not before Amy gave him a teary smile. Wyatt finished getting dressed and looked to JT. He smiled, "You look great Wyatt, Lyndy is going to flip out when she sees you." As he finished there was a knock on the door and Maddie came in. "Ok, Wyatt, time for you to go downstairs. Your girlfriend is ready and you may want to be sitting down, she looks hot." As she left Wyatt gulped and JT grabbed his arm, "Be strong Wyatt, I will be right by your side. They joined Amy and Ty who were sitting at the table talking quietly. Amy smiled, "I take it Maddie has summoned you to wait here?" Wyatt swallowed hard, "Yea she did, I feel like it is a first date or something. Is everything Ok." Ty smiled, "Wyatt with the Borden girls you never know." JT laughed, "That's for sure." They all chuckled when something caught their attention. Maddie was followed by Annie and Addie down the steps giggling, And just behind them was the girl of his dreams.
As she walked down Ty grabbed Amy as he watched his beautiful daughter. She was glowing and he leaned into her whispering quietly, "My god she is beautiful. She looks like you did when we tried to go to your formal." She smiled, "I remember, we didn't make the dance but you gave me an amazing gift." They cuddled closer as Maddie looked at them sternly and whispered, "Cool it you two." JT stood next to Wyatt holding his hand in an attempt to steady him and keep him from passing out. He laughed as he looked up to him noticing his eyes were wide open. The room was quiet until Addie cleared her throat and said, "Wyatt doesn't Lyndy look nice?" He stuttered, "Lyndy you look amazing, I love your new outfit and your hair and your eyes and well, everything." He looked starry eyed as he gazed at her. He saw her every day but tonight, she looked so beautiful. Amy smiled and went to hug her leaning into her ear trying to hold back the tears, "Lyndy you look so beautiful." Ty came up to join them in the hug. He was so choked up he couldn't speak but his eyes told Lyndy how he felt. Annie broke the tension as she spoke up, "Ok, picture time. We need to build up a collection like mom and dad have." They all laughed but inside they all knew how much the collection of pictures of their mom and dad meant to all of them. Although at times it was annoying, the pictures that Lou always forced them to take now were all over the house along with pictures of all of the kids, horses and whatever meant something. The painting Ty gave Amy years ago still hung in their bedroom along with the one that Jane drew for Amy years ago of her and Spartan. After a number of pictures with the couple, sisters, kids and one with Amy, Ty, Lyndy and Wyatt, they got their coats and got ready to leave. After some final hugs and a secret whisper from JT to Wyatt they headed out to the truck under the watchful eye of their family. Lyndy looked back and laughed, "It's just a date you guys." They hopped in the truck and as they pulled out of sight Lyndy moved close to Wyatt and grabbed his free hand. He stopped the truck, put it in park and leaned over to kiss her deeply, with all the love he had. She blushed and whispered, "I love you Wyatt, but I am hungry." He laughed, "Just like your mom." He put the truck back in gear and they headed out, as close as they had ever been.
