Chapter One Hundred Forty-Three

Amy and Ty – Getting Ready

A/N – Apologize as the Lilly side story kind of took up a lot content that I was going to use for the romantic getaway. I will get there in this chapter and start setting up to the company Rodeo and the bronc riding drama. The key word is drama and that is how the Lilly setback developed from a small idea to a rather lengthy storyline. Cancer is a challenging and brutal disease. When I came up with the title of the last chapter I felt driven to show how the family as always is there for those that they love and I will continue to drive for that. Although they are always front and center, I feel compelled to spend some time on Amy and Ty in this chapter. We will not lose focus on the others but maybe some time with our main couple is needed. I hope I do it justice. Please continue to let me know what you think of my story. All feedback is welcomed As Should be Expected, Mature Content Enjoy!

After a fun morning Amy and Ty decided that maybe they should get dressed and probably eat something. It was closer to lunch so they headed down and enjoyed a nice lunch at one of the resort's cafes. After they finished, since it was a beautiful day they walked the grounds talking and holding hands. During the walk they found several spots where they stopped to just take in the beauty, snuggle and talk. They found as always that just being together was perfect, even after the years they had been together. Early in their relationship their immaturity as teenagers was a challenge but through it all they persevered. They both had agreed that when they talked long ago at the gazebo at Pike River help them cross an important threshold in their relationship and were together forever. The words he said that night still are top of mind with both of them individually and as a team. Things have not always been perfect but as they have been together their love and respect continues to grow every day. And now with their kids they have pledged to pass that on to them and make sure they understood how much they love each other and every one of them. As the content couple sat overlooking the beautiful Lake Louise Amy whispered into his ear. "This place is so beautiful. Ty I am so happy with our life. You are a wonderful partner and our kids are amazing. But you know what I really am happy with?" He laughed, "Our morning of love making?" She smacked him, "You are such a boy. No I am happy that no matter what we make time for us. Not just the intimate part but the talking and listening part. I always know that you are here for me – 100%. But this morning was kind of nice." She blushed and continued, "I love the way you are with our kids, especially Wyatt. Ty you have affected him more than you know. When he looks at you, he is looking at his father." She smiled and took a breath leaning into him for a kiss. He smiled, "Well thank you for saying that. All of you are my life and that includes Wyatt. Anytime I am watching them or talking to them my joy overwhelms me. I have been able to have a great professional life but also an amazing family life. But Amy, I see that same look when they talk to you. You are so amazing how you adapt yourself to each of them, giving all of yourself. And you and Lyndy, what you have done for her is mind blowing for me. First, she is you and everyone sees it. When I watch you two, I have problems keeping myself under control. It is so amazing." They each took a breath and held each other tightly. After a few minutes, Ty felt her trembling a bit and as he looked at her he noticed that her beautiful blue eyes were moist. He pulled back alarmed and asked, "Amy what's wrong?" She smiled and moved over to sit on his lap giving him a deep passionate kiss. The kissed carried on for a while until they heard two young girls walking behind them start giggling. Amy pulled away and blushed, "Sorry, I guess I got caried away a little." He chuckled, "Well I kind of liked it and I am excited about the time here with you." She giggled, moving a bit on his lap, "Hmm I can feel that you are excited."

Back home the kids were busy but wanted to see Lilly again. Lyndy was volunteered to call Jack and ask if they could. Knowing he normally didn't answer his phone she called Lisa. Lisa picked up quickly answering in her pleasant as always voice, "Hey sweety what's up, is everything Ok at home?" She smiled, "Yes Mimi we are all good and have not heard a peep from mom and dad, thank goodness. I have been elected to call and ask a question. Can we see Grandma Lilly, JT especially wants to see her." She heard a chuckle on the other end of the phone as she continued, "Well I can do better than that. Lilly is coming home later this afternoon and will be staying at Heartland for a few days until she gets her strength back. We talked to Max and she wanted to have you guys over for a small low key dinner, just you guys. Would that work for you?" She smiled broadly giving the thumbs up to the group. "Sounds good, Wyatt can bring us over and I will let Mallory know." We are really excited, thanks." She hung up and gave the news to her siblings and Wyatt and they were all really happy. She spoke to them, "Guys we need to be calm, Grandma is still recovering and we need to be there supporting her, not overwhelming her." JT frowned, "Can I give her a hug and kiss?" Lyndy pulled him in, "You better, I bet she really needs one from you." They went about the rest of their day excited for seeing her for dinner. Addie and Maddie decided to make a couple of Saskatoon Berry pies while the three fledgling horse healers finished up with their horses. JT sat with Trent and they made a welcome home sign. He then made a card and wrote a private note for his grandma, whom me loved more than anything. When the girls and Wyatt saw him, they all decided to do it as well. Once ready, Wyatt got the keys to the big SUV and they headed over a little before she was to get home. The plan, wait on the porch to welcome her

Amy and Ty made it back to the hotel eventually and decided to pick up some drinks and snacks and go sit on their deck. They got back to the room, set their things down and hugged. They both remembered the kiss on the bench and continued as Ty smiled, "The snacks can wait." She shrieked as he lifted her up carrying her to the bed. She giggled and blushed deeply, "It might be nice to go to the lounge seat next in front of the floor to ceiling window. It seems private." He raised his eyebrows and laughed, "Sonds kind of crazy but I like it. I also can't wait to see what is in that box of yours." He laid her down gently and began to kiss her with a fiery passion. In just a few minutes their discarded clothes were thrown everywhere and they attacked with a hunger they shared. Ty took control making sure that his wife was completely satisfied and Amy did the right things to him as well. As they pleasured each other, their moans increased and several times they called each other's names out in a hushed tone. The urgency of their love making made them move quickly, joining as one. Amy hovered over him and lowered herself onto his engorged manhood. She was so wet that he slid in easily and she began moving up and down looking deep into his eyes. They carried on for quite a while and Amy enjoyed not only the feeling of him inside her but the pleasures that her orgasms brought. He marveled at her beauty as she bounced effortlessly above him. Their individual stamina made the love making even more pleasurable for the other. The signs of the length of the session were showing, as they both were breathing heavily and were perspiring a lot. Finally she felt him pulse inside of her and the true lovers they were, they each released together. Amy screamed in extasy and Ty moaned her name over and over. Amy arched her back as he exploded inside of her and Ty supported her and held them in place for their maximum satisfaction. As they settled they collapsed onto each other never wanting to let go. After a while they finally caught their breath and opening their eyes were looking at each other with a love that was indescribable. Ty looked around and laughed hoarsely, "We sure are good at throwing clothes around. She giggled pulling herself closer, "That's not all we are good at. Ty that was amazing, wonderful, beautiful, perfect and every other word I can't think of." They quietly laid next to each other until Amy's phone buzzed. She looked a little alarmed, "It's Lyndy." They sat up and covered themselves giggling a little since no one was there. Amy picked up the phone, "Hey honey, is everything all right." She listened and per her request put her phone on speaker. "Hey mom and dad, don't worry, everything is great here. And we are sorry to call you but JT and the others insisted. We are at Heartland and someone wants to talk to you." After some shuffling and giggling a familiar voice came on. "Ty and Amy, I have the greatest grandkids in the world but let me say this call was not my idea." Both of them choked up a bit as Ty finally spoke, "Mom?"

Lilly laughed, "Yep it's me, it took some smooth talking but I am home here at Heartland for a bit and then off to our cottage." How are you two doing? Is the place nice." Realizing they were still naked and thanking the lord that it wasn't a video call Amy spoke up, "This place is amazing, the room, the grounds, the food and the view from our room is beautiful." As she started talking again, Ty was relentlessly tickling her and touching her in a way that made her wished they were not on the phone. She stuttered, "How are you, we can't believe you are home already." Max jumped in, "You should have seen her, she is quite the negotiator." They phone was silent as Ty's moves had paid off and they were in a deep kiss. Lyndy spoke up, "Are you guys still there, what's that noise?" They gathered themselves ad Ty spoke up, "We must have a bad connection. Mom that is great, but you better listen to everyone and be careful." Lou and Lisa laughed realizing that they may have interrupted something. Lilly looked at them smiling and chuckled, "Well we don't want to keep you, I imagine you are busy. We will see you in when you get back." They said their goodbyes and JT looked puzzled, "Why would they be busy?" By now the girls had caught on and were giggling. He huffed, "Man this adult stuff is really confusing." Jack broke the tension and spoke up, "Time to eat!" Back at the resort, his tickling and other stuff had moved further. Amy stepped back as Ty was wide eyes looking at her body, "Ty, let's take a bath and get some dinner, I am starving. And we need to build up some stamina, I plan to open that box tonight." He grabbed her hand and they headed to the shower. Before they stepped in he called and made a reservation for dinner. Since they had worked each other up, their shower was eventful as they help each other clean off completely. They got out and decided that clothes were needed for dinner so they got dressed. Ty looked sharp in Amy's favorite pair of jeans, a dark green dress shirt and a jacket. When Amy walked out, he almost fainted. She was in a beautiful deep blue dress the fit her perfectly, just above the knee and form fitting, showing all of her curves. Her dress dropped down a bit in the front but not too much and she added a pretty pair of dark blue dress boots. Her hair was loosely curled and hung down on her shoulders and as always she had just a little bit of makeup. Ty had to speak, "Man the men will be all over you tonight, I better keep an eye out." She smiled, "You don't look to bad yourself and I bet all the women will be looking you over." They laughed and grabbed each other hands but not before Amy leaned in to a light kiss and whispered, "I don't know about the other women but I will definitely be checking you out all night." He smiled as they headed to the restaurant.

With glowing faces the in love couple went to see the hostess and were taken to their table which was pretty private and had a view of the lake, mountains and setting sun. The hostess sat them down, poured them some water and said their server would bring them menus. They weren't on a timeline and were as relaxed as they had ever been. Ty smiled and leaned in to kiss her on the neck, "Did I tell how beautiful you look?" Like 8 guys checked you out and I will keep an eye on them. She smiled and moved to kiss him with the passion that had been building since th phone call from Lilly. As they continued, they heard someone clearing their throat and saw their waitress nervously handing them their menus. She smiled, "Sorry, my name is Heather and I will be taking care of you Mr. and Mrs. Borden. I don't want to be to forward but Mrs. Borden you look very beautiful tonight." Amy laughed, "And Mr. Borden looks pretty good too, don't you think." She blushed and started to go through the specials. When she finished she took their drink orders and someone brought over a bottle champagne with a card from the management welcoming them. They sat and looked over the menu and thought about the specials. They sat as close as they could laughing and chatting about anything that came up. Several of the couples around them couldn't help but notice how happy and in love they were. After their salads, the main course came and as always they shared, laughing and smiling as they shoved a fork in each other's mouth. They weren't silly or giggly, they were in love and showed it in everything they did. Heather gave them their space but along with a few of the staff couldn't help but notice the bond they had. Since they were known by the staff, the chef came out after their meal to check on them and brought them a plate of fancy deserts to share. The older man smiled, "Word has is Mrs. Borden, you really like desert. Mrs. Weber told her friend that works here so I prepared this for you. We are so pleased that you joined us for dinner and hope you liked it. And may I add you both look wonderful together. The staff is in quite tizzy about you. The world famous Miracle Girl and a renowned vet, who together run an amazing company, quite a pair. My daughter brought her horse to you a couple of years ago, his name was Midnight." Amy smiled, "Yes I remember, your daughter's name was Liz and she brought her daughter, Evie." He was startled that she remembered them. Ty laughed, "Trust me I know how you feel, it is uncanny. She has helped thousands of clients and remembers almost all of them. Heck I barely remember yesterday." The chef laughed, "Well trust me it gets worse for us men for sure. And I heard you just turned 40, its all downhill from here." The all laughed as Amy and Ty thanked him for his deserts and kind words. As they shared the them along with coffee, they were each quietly looking forward to the rest of their night.

As the morning came at the Miracle Ranch breakfast was just finishing up. Mallory was always amazed at how helpful the kids were and basically how easy they were to deal with. The day would be hectic. She needed to get to the Day Care Center so Trent and JT were going with her. The fishing trip was delayed since Lilly was still recovering. Addie was really excited. Mechanics were coming to do some routine maintenance on some of the ATVs and other equipment. Caleb had asked if she wanted to help and she jumped on it. Annie, Lyndy and Wyatt had horses to work. Clients continued to stack up as the impact of the horse jumping show was still fresh. In the afternoon, Caleb was taking Wyatt to the Hudson Rodeo to practice with some bronc riders he knew for some additional help. The Company Rodeo was only a few weeks away, and Wyatt continued to be get ready. At lunch Wyatt and Lyndy snuck off to one of the benches behind the back barn to enjoy some time alone. They sat quietly eating and talking. She spoke quietly, "So I hear you are going to the rodeo grounds to practice this afternoon." She smiled meekly, "Yea, Caleb has a couple of cowboys there are going to give me some pointers. I wish you would come." She got quiet for a second and he began to panic. She finally spoke up grabbing his hands and looking into his eyes. After a quick kiss, she spoke, "Wyatt, I love you and I admit I am still really scared. I understand that you really want to do this and I will support you. Please be careful and if you want I will come watch you." He smiled and leaned in for a big hug whispering, "Thank you and I will be safe, because I have you." They finished their lunch and headed back. On the way Lyndy checked on Addie and her mechanic friends. As they approached, she laughed as her little sister was sitting with a couple of the ranch hands and two burly mechanics having lunch. They were all covered with grease and were in a conversation she knew nothing about. She looked up and saw them coming, "Hey you two what's up." Lyndy smiled air hugging her sister, Just messing with horses, you?" Well we just took apart the engine on the main tractor and are debating how to put it back. It needs some plugs and two of the valves need to be cleaned, simple stuff." She laughed as one of the mechanics laughed, "Your little sister knows her stuff, I was telling Clem we should hire her." Addie's eyes lit up as Lyndy spoke up, "Well not quite yet, she'll just be 14 in September but if mom and dad are Ok maybe you can hang out there sometimes." Both of the mechanics smiled in agreement as Addie give her the you're not my mother look. The couple headed back to the round pen area to resume with their horses they were working with, after meeting with Georgie and Ellory. Midafternoon Caleb headed their way, "Hey Wyatt, you ready, we can't keep these guys waiting." Wyatt told him 5 minutes and went to get Lyndy. They both walked up to his truck and Caleb seemed surprised, "So Lyndy is coming?" Lyndy spoke up, "Yes Caleb O'Dell I am here to support my man. And don't give me any of that superstition junk. My mom told me all about it and it is a bunch of.." She stopped when Wyatt put his hand over her mouth as Caleb laughed, "She is so like her mother." The hopped in the truck and headed on their way.

The content and well rested couple slept late, again. As Amy got up she smiled feeling her husband behind her, sleeping soundly. It had been a wonderful night that went well past midnight. She opened the box and used one of the items and needless to say, Ty had trouble containing himself, several times. Today they had plans to have a light brunch and then head out to the water for a canoe ride to a small island in the lake. There was a food stand that served shakes and other sweet items. Tonight they decided to have room service for dinner and relaxation. Their intimate exploits had taken a lot out of them and an evening of cuddling and making out a little seemed nice. Amy moved a little trying to release from his grip and was able to get up and head to the bathroom. She instinctively grabbed a sheet to cover herself up but laughed to herself not understanding why. She was startled when she heard a familiar voice, "I'd rather you not cover up, the view is amazing." She blushed, "I know, I realized why do I need to cover up. Guess I am used to others begin around." He laughed and stood up, "Well I for one will go coverless. And come on, I don't want to keep you from viewing this." He move his hands down his naked body. She laughed and dropped her sheet, "But what about this." He walked quickly over to her and picked her up in his arms as their bodies connected in all the right places. She dropped down and spoke, "Ty, we need to go and get ready. We have brunch and that cool canoe ride. I know you probably want to stay in the room the entire day but even this needs a little rest." He looked into her eyes and cupped her face for a deep kiss, "I love you horsey girl, let's get ready." They had seen a cool little café on the way to the canoe place which was a short walk. Again the weather was perfect with a sun filled sky and warm weather. They wore their swim suits but had shorts and tops on over them, not typical clothing for the Albertan couple. They each brought a hat and sunglasses along with some sun screen, ready for everything. The café was awesome as they shared some finger sandwiches, homemade chips and some great cider. After Ty paid the bill they headed to the rental shop to get their canoe happily chatting away. After they paid and got some brief instructions the headed out. The water was smooth as glass and Amy sat as her man rowed them over to the island. They stopped a couple of times to take in the surroundings and steal a kiss. The lake wasn't too crowded and the views were spectacular, taking their breath away. Amy smiled, "This is so beautiful." He smiled, "I know, we have never done this because I think every other time we have been here it was winter." She laughed, "Well one day maybe we can bring the kids here, there is a lot to do for sure." He smiled and gazed at his wife. She blushed, "What are you gawking at." He laughed, "Even with clothes on you are really sexy Amy Borden." She blushed, "Flattery will get you everywhere, but I want a milkshake." They tied off the boat and wondered over to the food stand. The small island was set up with benches and picnic tables and about help of them were filled up with happy tourist. Amy grabbed a secluded bench as Ty picked up an assortment of cookies and a large milkshake to share, their tradition. He came over to sit down and put the box between them and opened up the two straws. She giggled and moved the box to her side and scooted up close to him. The sat and enjoyed their snack with a view of the northern Canadian Rockies for a backdrop. They didn't have much to say because there was no need to. The huddled close and enjoyed the moment so in love they almost felt guilty.

Caleb's truck pulled up to the rodeo grounds and they hopped out. Wyatt got his set of chaps and gloves out of the back and the walked into the arena. They heard a person yell over, "Caleb O'Dell, is this the new up and coming bronc rider." The others chuckled at the comment as Caleb answered, "Hey boys, yes he is, he is a novice and I thought you guys could give him some tips. I mean look what I did for all of you." He puffed his chest realizing each of them had gone through the Rodeo School he used to run with Tim years ago. Another one of the cowboys laughed, "Well we do our best even with your great job with us." They all laughed as the first one spoke again, "So it looks like he already has a buckle bunny following him around, not bad." He looked at Lyndy and made her uncomfortable as Caleb stepped in. "Well boys this is his girlfriend Lyndy, as in Lyndy Borden. You probably know her parents." Every one of them stopped in their tracks. Of course they knew the Miracle girl and her renowned veterinarian husband. He blushed a little, "I am sorry Ms. Borden. We all think very highly of you mom and dad. Your mom has helped many of us with horse issues and your dad operated on my horse a while back and thanks to him he was able to compete again. They are amazing." Lyndy remained quiet as Caleb spoke up, "Enough groveling you goofs, let's get this boy on a horse." Caleb went with the boys to check out the calm horse they had picked. It was actually one of the horses they would be using at the company rodeo. Lyndy stayed with Wyatt as he got ready. She smiled, "Wow look at my cowboy, you look hot." He blushed, "Lyn, quiet, don't let those guys hear you. And I am sorry about the buckle bunny comment." She laughed, "Sorry I won't ruin your moment and I will be your buckle bunny any day." She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss just as they were walking back with his ride. Caleb laughed, "Wyatt my man you need to focus and you two need not go all Amy and Ty on us." The group laughed as they settled the horse in the chute and Wyatt climbed up. As he got on the horse the cowboys showed him several tips to get settled in. He listened intently as Lyndy stepped back, her nerves started to rise. But her nerves settled as she watched him taking instructions and the fact that he looked really good on top of that bronc. They were ready to release and the two assist cowboys on horses and one on the ground to distract the bronc were ready. Caleb made sure he was ready and told him to nod and they would release the bronc from the chute. He nodded and the chute opened and at that moment, Lyndy stopped breathing and her eyes were wide open. As the bronc popped out of the chute, Wyatt was a little surprised at the initial surge. He had practiced at the ranch but this was the real deal. He grabbed the rope and held his other arm in the air. As he rode he felt the horse and matched it's bucking motion. A couple of times during the ride he shifted and more than once Wyatt almost felt he was losing his balance. He compensated and at the encouragement of the other cowboys rode out the 8 seconds. When the buzzer went off the assist horses calmed the bronc and pulled him off to safety. Lyndy finally took a breath and realized that the whole time Caleb had his arm around her. He whispered, "Lyndy he did really well." She smiled weekly leaning into her godfather never taking her eyes off of her cowboy. The boys were hooting and hollering at his performance and he came over to the fence rail. Before he went to see Lyndy, the cowboys went over a few things he needed to focus on for his next ride. He finally made it to her and she collapsed in his arms, barely able to stand. It was scary but exhilarating. He smiled and whispered, "I'm Ok baby, it's Ok." She just continued to hug him happy he was in one piece.

Ty and Amy's afternoon had been perfect. The canoe ride back to the rental center was nice and they made sure they took their time. Right before they pulled up to the dock, Amy's phone buzzed with a text. She laughed and showed Ty the pictures, "Look, we have another bronc rider in the family." He looked and smiled, "Look at him, he almost looks as good as I did on my bull ride years ago." Amy smiled remembering how mad she was at him even though they were not together at the time. "You know I still loved you even though we weren't together and I was really scared when you did that fool thing." He laughed and pinched her side, "Well I did it for you and for me too, to prove I could. I bet Lyndy is pretty nervous still." Amy looked at the pictures again. "I think she is Ok and I know that Caleb and Rusty have told her they will keep him safe. But I know she still worries because she loves him so much. Man, what us Borden women have to put up with." He smiled and kissed her cheek. After they got back they took a longer walk back to the resort, to stretch their legs and enjoy the scenery. Over their life they had many opportunities to be alone and travel together. Each time it helped them grow as a couple and so far this trip seemed to be meeting the grade. As walked they talked freely about everything. Amy asked him pointedly, "So 40 years old, how does it feel." He smirked, "Well between the dude ranch and the last couple of days it feels pretty good, I am pretty confident I still got it." She smacked his arm, "You have been Ok but really how does it feel to be 40?" He thought for a second and they went to sit on a bench. "Well to be honest I kind of relieved. There were times in my life that I didn't think I would make 16 and to be honest when I came to Heartland I just expected another epic Ty Borden fail. You and Jack showed me that I was worth something. And although we stumbled a little early on here we are, with an amazing family, friends and business. I never expected that I would be in a place where a legacy would be created. But Amy, you and I have done that and I couldn't be happier. I love you so much." She smiled and leaned into him tearing up. The moment for her would one she would take with her forever. She gathered herself, "Well thank you babe, but like I have said, you did this too. You are an amazing and loving husband, a terrific father, a valued friend, a great doctor and not too bad in the sack." She giggled as the kissed. He pulled her up as they began to head back to their room. They were looking forward to a relaxing evening enjoying some room service, a nice bath and maybe a movie with a lot of cuddling.

During the night Wyatt could barely sleep because of all the pain he was in. Lyndy heard him rustling around and hesitantly went to see what was wrong. She lightly knocked on the door and saw him on the hard floor trying to get comfortable. She closed the door quietly, "Wyatt, are you Ok?" He smiled, wincing a little, "Well I think I may have overdone it a little, my shoulders and back are killing me." She blushed a little as she realized he was just in a pair of pajama shorts and no shirt. She was also in a summer pair of pajamas. After Mallory had told them good night they had spent the last two night holding each other and fell asleep, luckily getting back to their rooms before dawn. She smiled, "Get up on the bed and I will give you a massage. Let me go get some lotion and I will be right back." Wyatt batted his eyelashes as she scoffed, "Wyatt Miller, you need to chill, we are in a house with all of my siblings, Trent and Mallory so calm down stud." He went to lay on the bed and she quietly came back with some lotion for his massage. "This lotion has some lavender and coconut oil in it which is very calming and should relax you. So lay still." He laughed, "What am I a horse." Blushing at his reference she giggled, "No silly this works on humans too." She straddled his waist and began to rub the oil into his shoulders. He moaned quietly as she shushed him, "Keep it down cowboy, we don't want to wake anyone." He sighed deeply as she moved down to his middle and lower back. She also spent some time on his legs as he said they were sore as well. She was focused on making sure she got all of the areas treated but couldn't help but feel a little warm inside. The both enjoyed the sensation of touching each other but although she was tempted there was no going there. She had desires but not in his room with a full house. She knew that one day they would move further. As she went back to his shoulders and back she noticed that he had fallen asleep. She finished and leaned down to kiss him on his shoulder, laying on him and feeling his warmth and the connection of their bodies. He moved a little but was out like a light. Smiling she pulled a bed sheet over him and went to her room. As she laid in bed her mind was wide awake thinking about him and how much he loved her cowboy. When sleep came it was about their relationship and where it would eventually go. At breakfast, the kids were excited because their parents would be home later in the afternoon. When Wyatt came down he smiled at Lyndy and kissed her forehead. Annie and Addie were talking in a hushed tone and Mallory finally spoke up, "What are you two giggling about, and speak english, not that secret language you use." Addie answered for them looking right at her older sister, "Well we heard some light steps outside our door and a door lightly closing several times. And I think it was Wyatt's door.. Lyndy?" In a split second she had a decision to be honest or make up a story. Much to Wyatt's amazement she answered, "Well you nosey twins, actually Wyatt couldn't sleep. He was really sore from his amazing bronc riding yesterday so I got some lavender and coconut oil and rubbed it into his shoulders, back and legs. It worked because he fell right to sleep before I was even done." Wyatt, Mallory and the twins were dead silent astonished of her admission of the fact that she gave her boyfriend a massage. Maddie unfazed spoke up, "Well that makes sense, mom says that lavender is perfect to relax muscles and sooth pain. And I think coconut oil is good for tension. That was a great idea Lyndy. Wyatt how do you feel this morning?" He smiled and put his arm on Lyndy's shoulder, "Actually I do feel much better, a little tight but not bad at all." Maddie, JT and Trent smiled and carried on with breakfast. The rest went back a little more tense until Lyndy looked over to Addie and Annie and stuck her tongue out. Mallory just shook her head and smiled, "I'll have to use that on Doug, the next time he has a rough day at work." Maddie shook her head in agreement and the others made a lot of effort to hold back their laughter.

Amy and Ty woke up a little later in the morning again. As she rolled over to her husband she laughed, "I really could get used to this." He smiled coyly, "Hey you were the one that wanted to have a relaxing evening and then decided to get it on as we watched the sunset for like two hours." She giggled, "Yea but you were the one that had a second, third and fourth wind after we had that bath. What time did we finally fall asleep." He rolled his eyes, "I have no idea." Well let's get a late checkout, order some breakfast and head home. I really miss the kids and I got a text from Lyndy. She needs to talk to me privately." He smiled, "I wonder what's that's about?" She smiled and rolled over on top of him, "I will call the desk to get a late checkout, you can call room service and I will meet you in the shower. Tell them to get the food up here in an hour." They got up not even caring about this lack of attire and made their calls. A while later they were sitting looking over the view one last time waiting for the bellhop to get their luggage. Amy smiled, "I see you cleaned up a little, we kind of made a mess in the bathroom." He chuckled tickling her side, "You mean you made a mess." There was a knock on the door and they headed down to check out. The ride home was slow and easy as Amy sat right next to Ty in Old Blue. She smiled and sighed, "This trip was perfect and just what we needed. And riding in this truck, is one of my favorite parts right after that thing you did to me in the shower this morning." As they pulled down the drive JT came sprinting from the porch as Amy had texted Lyndy and Mallory of their arrival time. He launched himself into his mom's arms so happy to see her. The girls and Wyatt followed from the barn and welcomed them as well. Annie asked, "So, how was it? Georgie's friend said that he didn't see you guys a lot" Amy blushed, "Dad and I had a great time but we sure missed you guys. Wyatt, how was your bronc training?" He laughed, "It was great, I don't think this one is on board yet but she is getting there." He poked Lyndy in the ribs. They all laughed as Maddie without hesitation added, "He said he was pretty sore but Lyndy gave him a massage with Lavender and coconut oil last night. He said it really helped." Ty and Amy looked at them as Wyatt was almost passing out. JT spoke up adding to the fire, "Yea Maddie said those are good to relieve tension and help sore muscles. Pretty good idea I think." The twins were keeping it under control and Lyndy was helping Wyatt not collapse. Amy and Ty had smirks on their face as Ty spoke up. "You are right guys they are very good for strained muscles, especially when applied directly to the area where the pain is." The couple was still very uncomfortable and the twins had to excuse themselves. Amy went to her daughter, "Hey Lyndy, can you come with me while dad and Wyatt take our stuff in, I need to ask you something." The family dispersed with several different levels of awareness, JT and Maddie were clueless, Annie and Addie were laughing uncontrollably, Wyatt was barely able to speak to Ty and Amy took her daughters hand and smiled, "So I figure this is what you wanted to talk about?" She smiled looking nervously at Wyatt as he walked away. Amy pulled her in and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry, dad would hurt him too much." Lyndy rolled her eyes as they walked out to the pond. Amy smiled, "Lyndy your dad and I love you and trust you, so what do you need to talk about."
