Chapter One Hundred Sixty

JT, Giving Thanks and Love

A/N – Writing the last chapter was a joy and brought me back to the reason that I have worked so hard developing this story. It most likely wasn't needed but I needed to reaffirm the relationship that this couple has and what they mean to the entire family. Amy and Ty will always be the foundation of my story, the future of the family and their business. I am sure you can see that after generations of a simple approach to helping horses, Amy, Ty, and the family have moved things to a whole new level. The family has grown substantially and now they are poised to provide a future for all of the generations to follow. We will now move into the holidays and two birthdays for the male kids in the Borden family. I can't believe that I have seen the birth of JT and now he will be 5. I will take my time moving through the holiday season and continue to set up the future of the family as I will portray in my sequel. At this point I can't guess how many chapters I have left but I would guess 3-5. How is that for a firm commitment. Haha. Anyway let me know what you all think and as I have said, sequel ideas are welcomed, especially for our young couple. I am truly grateful for your commitment and feedback. Mature Content Enjoy!

The afternoon with just JT was perfect after Ty and Amy returned. They found him in good spirits but he did have some concerns about the study he was going to start. Their first meeting was just before Thanksgiving and it was on his mind, "Mom and dad, I understand why I have to do this. Grandma and Great Grandma talked me and told me to be strong and tell the truth. But they said that if I feel weird about it to just say it and take a break. And they told me to ignore the kids at school, they are just being silly." Amy smiled, "Well honey those two are really smart people so we agree with them." JT hopped in his dad's lap as he added, "And if at any time you want to stop or need to take a break, Mom, Lyndy, Wyatt or I will always be there with you so just let us know." He smiled, "So how was the horse thing?" Amy smiled, "It was really great and we will tell you guys about it at dinner. Why don't you and daddy go see the horses, I have to talk to GG, Lisa and Lou." They laughed as he hugged her a little tighter than normal. Amy headed back into the house as she found them sitting in the kitchen as Lou spoke up, 'How is he, he seemed a little distracted even when Grandpa kept him busy in the barn." Amy smiled, "He's Ok, he said he talked to mom and grandma and they told him to be strong but if it gets uncomfortable to take a break. Ty and I told the medical team that we need to be there, including Wyatt and Lyndy." Jack smiled, "Well he asked me to so I can join the group if you want. Honey, he is an amazing not even 5 year old yet. His perception of life is way beyond his age partly because of his gift but mainly because of you and the kids. But the gift can also be a bit overwhelming so we all need to keep an eye on him." Lisa laughed, "From a distance though." Amy hugged them all as Ty and JT came into the ranch house. He laughed, "Did you have fun talking about me?" Jack scooped up the giggling boy, "You bet we did!" When they got back home, they dropped their bags in their room and headed over to the office. JT immediately went to the barn to check on Blue Boy, Caleb and Rusty. After checking through some things they headed back to the house with JT, holding his hands as he swung between them. They smiled at each other realizing that soon that wouldn't be possible. Maddie arrived first and ran full speed to them hugging her mom, "Mom, dad, we missed you." Ty laughed, "We were only gone a few days honey." She smirked, "Yea, but we still missed you." She went inside to drop her bag in her room and came back outside high-fiivng JT. Next came Addie and Annie. They were a bit more subtle but after the bus pulled away they jogged to their parents exchanging hugs. Amy laughed, "Man we need to go away more often, I like the hugging." They all laughed and after they came back to the porch the four of them hugged each other too. Amy and Ty noticed that the girls were very attentive to JT. When Wyatt's truck pulled up it was JT's turn to bolt to them. Wyatt hopped out and JT jumped in his arms hugging him tightly. Lyndy walked over and tickled him, "What am I chopped liver?" He laughed as Wyatt passed him to Lyndy for her hug. They walked up to the porch so Lyndy could get her hugs and Wyatt could hug Amy and bro-hug Ty. Addie scoffed, "Look at the two men who are to macho to hug." They all laughed and went into the house to unpack and get ready for dinner. It was good to all be back together.

With no time to prepare dinner, the pizza, salad and sides showed up an hour later. The girls set the table as Ty, Wyatt and JT set out the food, buffet style. Dinner was very active as questions came from all of the kids about the weekend. Annie spoke up, "You guys made the local news. They showed the marquis with your names on it. Today you guys were the talk of school and I loved it. One of the teachers said that Alex and Sam talked you up a lot and showed several pictures of the convention. She said there was actually a picture of you guys when you were speaking." Amy smiled, "We know, they sent a video for us to look at. Maybe we can watch it later after your study session." Maddie ask a surprisingly serious questions. "Did you get to go to any of the mini sessions? I bet there were a lot." Amy laughed, "Yea we went to some together and some on our own. There was a lot of cool information and we were asked a lot about what we do. It was weird, it was like being the key note speakers kind of made us celebrities. It was a little uncomfortable. We also got to go to the Directors Ranch on Sunday and go for a ride. The place was beautiful kind of like Fairfield, just a lot bigger." Addie asked, "Was it a little scary speaking to everyone?" Ty smiled, "Well first off your mom was amazing and to be honest at first it was a little much, there were over 2500 people there." Amy poked him, "Whatever, your dad was pretty awesome too. I think all the women were gawking at him." JT laughed, "Mom that is weird, I mean you guys are Ok looking but really!" Everyone burst out in laughter. After a few seconds of recovery Lyndy blushed a little, "So, how was you hotel room and the fancy dinner on Friday." Ty and Amy blushed as Ty spoke, "Well you should have seen how beautiful your mom looked, she was beautiful. And the room was spectacular. It was a penthouse room with huge windows with awesome views." Amy also blushed again thinking of their weekend of love making. "Well your dad looked great too and the room was spectacular, like dad said the views were amazing. When we got there we treated like royalty. There were even a nice lunch waiting for us and when we got back from the reception a plate of chocolates and drinks. We really enjoyed the room and to be honest were a little spoiled." There was a little uncomfortable silence until Addie had to blurt it out, "So are we going to have a new brother or sister soon?" The girls giggled as JT whispered to Wyatt, "Man girls are really weird." Wyatt whispered back, "Trust me I know.' Lyndy overheard the conversation and poked Wyatt in the ribs, "You better watch yourself young man, you have a birthday coming up and I may not get you a present." Maddie laughed, "That's right birthday boy, you need to be nice to all of us or you may not get anything at all." JT eyes got wide, "That's mean you guys, and Wyatt, I will get you something for sure." Amy and Ty offered to clean up so the kids could start their study session. When they finished, they went into the lounge to have some tea and relax. They kept an ear to the session and smiled, realizing that their kids were their life. Amy leaned into Ty and whispered, "I sure loved our time alone and I think I need a nap. But this is what I love the most. In the arms of the man who is my everything, listening to my children helping each other with their homework and caring for each other so much. I love our life and I love you." He smiled and leaned into kiss her deeply. Lyndy watched her parents and held Wyatt's hand under the table. Her mom and dad loved each other deeply and she was in love with the man of her dreams as well. But Addie, who was also watching yelled over, "Mom and Dad, everything Ok over there?" They sat up but still held each other tight as Amy answered, "Everything is perfect." The kids all smiled feeling warm inside and agreed, their lives were perfect.

The kids were excited as it was the week of Thanksgiving and they were off of school. Amy and Ty were also excited because business was booming and the break would be good for them. The entire company would be shut down from Wednesday through Sunday, outside of the day to day care of the horses which was being handled by a number of volunteers, including the Bordens. Thanksgiving Day would be at the Miracle Ranch for immediate family and a few very close friends, like the O'Dell's, Walsh's and the Saunders although Mallory was actually part of the family. Ellory was going home along with Haley, with Rusty. The latest rumor was that he was about to propose so hopes were high. The one thing needed outside of the preparation for the Thanksgiving feast was JT's appointment, which was on Tuesday. Although the universities were off, they asked to have it at the University of Calgary. The team from Edmonton, the hospital and of course the staff there were all available. It was set to be in the conference room at the medical building. There would be a dozen or so doctors and staff so Amy asked Lyndy and Wyatt to come as well. They felt that JT would need the support. They got in the car but not before Annie, Addie, Maddie and Jack hugged him. Jack whispered, "You got this kid." He smiled and hugged his GG even harder. The drive was quiet with just a small amount of conversation. JT sat between Lyndy and Amy in the back seat and was bouncing his leg looking out the window blankly. Amy simply put her hand on his leg and he leaned into her knowing everything would be fine. As they entered he building the lead doctor on his medical team along with the lead professor met them welcoming them and thanking them for coming. JT was quiet until he saw his favorite nurse walk up. He smiled brightly and bolted jumping into her arms. She smiled and winked to Amy and Ty, "Hey buddy it is good to see you. I wouldn't miss this for anything." JT didn't speak he just held on. He needed his family but needed her as well. She had always been nice and made him comfortable with all of the poking and prodding that he had to deal with. She laughed, "No test today buddy, just questions, are you ready?" He smiled and hugged her as now he knew he was. As they walked down the hall, JT looked around and held Wyatt's hand tightly. As the door open the Bordens were a little overwhelmed. There was a large oval table with name tags for about 20 people. JT was in the middle on one side surrounded by his mom and dad and then Wyatt and Lyndy. The nurse was strategically placed right across from him so he could see her easily. As everyone sat, the lead doctor introduced the Bordens and went over some basic ground rules. Then each one of the others introduced themselves. Lyndy whispered to Amy, "Thank goodness there are nametags." He then looked at JT when he was done, "So JT is there anything else you need before we start." He smiled, "No, My grandma told me last night that I should be strong today, so I am good." There was a quiet hush as the group was taken by the maturity and calmness of this almost 5 year old.

One of the professors from the University spoke up. "So JT you talked to you grandma last night on the phone?" He knew that he had a grandma that lived in Colorado. JT smiled, "No my Grandma Marion came to me in my dreams like always. She is my mom's mom. Her mom, my Great Grandma Lyndy was there too but she was feeding their horses. Last night they had Pegasus and Spartan with them. My sister Lyndy is named after her and I am named after my GG and my dad, Jackson Tyler" No one could speak and Amy put her arm around him with tears in her eyes as Lyndy joined them as well. Those that were meeting him for the first time gasped and whispered among themselves jotting down notes. JT smiled, "Well isn't that why I am here today so we can talk about it?" A nervous laughter ensued as the nurse across from him spoke to him, "You are absolutely right buddy, it's your show." He smiled sitting up in his seat, "Ok, what do you want to know." Over the next hour and a half the group asked him a variety of questions about what he was experiencing. He sat calmly answering them although sometimes he had to have a question restated as it was to complex. But for the most part he answered them and sometimes his mom, dad, sister and brother helped him. A lot of questions were directed to the family there as well and JT welcomed the break. He smiled at how honest they were and how they would always look at him to make sure he was Ok with the answer. Many of the questions focused on the interactions he had with Marion and Lyndy and if they were always the same. He smiled, "Well they are always the same but sometimes the settings are different and a few times, my GG's sister has been there too." Amy had forgotten about that and asked, "Honey do you mean June?" He smiled affirming that. Amy spoke to the group, "June was my grandfather's younger sister who was killed in a farm accident when she was only 16. He was away at a rodeo and still blames himself because he wasn't there." JT grabbed her arm, "Mommy she came to see me to tell GG that it wasn't his fault, remember I told him that." She smiled, "I know honey, I just wanted them to know the story and why she came to you with grandma." He smiled and the group continued to marvel at this young man. Another question came from the Edmonton team. The young lady spoke up, "JT please don't be upset but you know these people you are seeing have passed away. It seems sometimes you talk as if they are with you not just in spirit." The question concerned Amy and Ty and she whispered to JT. "You don't have to answer that." The women panicked a little, "Mrs. Borden, I am not trying to upset JT but it's just that any other person we have talked to in this study never refers to the people they are communicating like they are still here. JT seemed to speak as if they are here with us." Before Amy could answer JT looked at her, "Ma'am, even if they are dead it doesn't mean they aren't alive in us. When I watch my mom, or Katie or Lyndy work with a horse I see them alive in them. So for me they will always be alive. Does that make sense." Amy clutched him again as tears returned. The people in the room were writing furiously and whispering to each other. The women who asked the question recovered and smiled, "You know what JT that makes perfect sense. "I have never thought of it that way" JT smiled realizing that this wasn't too bad and actually enjoyed talking to them about it.

They broke for lunch that was in the room and JT continued to interact with the team. Amy, Ty, Lyndy and Wyatt sat off to the side and watched him talk to them calmly especially with the head nurse and doctor right by his side. It seemed that he was more comfortable with them and the nurse definitely was aware of his needs. After lunch questions continued for a short while as Amy noticed the he was getting tired. She looked at Dr. Flanders and he understood that it was time to stop. After JT was asked another question he stepped in as he looked at a yawning JT, "Well I think that is enough for today. JT you have been great and I thank you for talking with us. So next steps. JT, right after Thanksgiving if it is Ok, we need you to come for a visit for some test. No needles just some test. Team we will share them with everyone and then set up a Zoom call after the new year." JT smiled, "Sounds good but can it wait until after my birthday, I am going to be 5!" He laughed, "Of course buddy, I guess I should get you a present, hey?" JT got a serious look on his face, "That's nice of you but that's Ok, birthdays are not about presents, its about family and I have a lot of that." Again the group was amazed at the maturity of this young man. JT laughed, "Well I do want a new fishing reel but I thing my GG is getting that for me. We are fishing buddies." The doctor closed out the meeting and again thanked the Bordens. The head nurse hugged her friend tightly whispering in his ear. As they headed home the ride was quiet and JT fell asleep in his mom's lap almost immediately. Amy smiled and spoke softly, "He was amazing, I am happy we did this but we need to make sure he is Ok. Lyndy let the girls know too as we all need to keep an eye on him." All of a sudden JT spoke up, "Mom, I hear you and I am Ok. But I do love all of you a lot." They stopped at Maggie's for a shake to celebrate. When they walked in there were two screams as Annie and Addie were there with their friends. JT ran to them for big hugs as they were joined by Lou, who was also there. JT joined the group of teens as they hovered over him like royalty. Lou came over to Amy and Ty and asked, "So how did it go?" Ty smiled as Amy was still a little emotional and holding Lyndy's hand. "Lou, he was amazing, it seems that Marion and Lyndy coached him a bit and he talked about it openly and as calm as ever." Wyatt laughed, "If Amy hadn't looked over to Dr Flanders we would probably still be there, he was getting tired." Amy finally spoke, "Lou he talked about how he met June and that he told grandpa she said it wasn't his fault. He was so composed and articulate. But what got me was when a lady asked me if it seems that JT believes they are still alive somehow. He interrupted her and said that he knew they were dead but they are alive in all of us. I think, no I know, he took their breath away when he said that. I teared up and I think many of them did to. As we were leaving the lady approached him to apologize again and he laughed and told her it was Ok. I don't think I have ever been more proud if him." Lou hugged her and a teary eyed Lyndy. It was a good day for the Bordens and their little man, JT.

It was Thanksgiving morning and the house was in chaotic calmness. Lisa, Lou, Mallory and Casey showed up early to help Amy and the older girls get all the food ready. As planned the Heartland group came with enough pies for 100 people. Maddie as usual was in charge making sure everything was done. She went with Ty, Wyatt and JT to take care of the family horses and then, using her many list when they got back to the house. Tables had to be set up and she insisted that name plates were needed. She had them drop the porch curtains as it would be needed to the kids as a place to eat. The two babies were strategically placed in an area were everyone could see them. The Webers and Fosters has a seating area close to the bedroom the babies can nap and nurse in as well as close to the main floor bathroom. She made sure that Clay had the music set up and that an iPad was hooked up to the TV for the call from Max and Lilly. She was so organized that she even had a couple of extra tables for last minute guest that may show up. As things pulled together she confidentially walked around checking things off her list. Lisa laughed and spoke to the women in the kitchen, "I believe that Lou has been replaced, look at her go." Lyndy laughed, "The legacy lives on!" Just before noon, everyone started showing up. The Webers and Fosters came carrying the extra gear for Sienna and Matthew. The extended family showed up as did the men from Heartland. The Borden girls moved from cooking to kid care and made sure all the kids were occupied. Wyatt gathered up the O'Dell kids, Stillman kids, Georgie's older kids, Trent, Shawna and the Masters kids who ended up coming as their trip to Bethany's family fell through as her dad was ill. Along with the older girls they all headed to the barn to keep them out of the way a bit. The women had set out some light snack items as the full dinner would not be until early afternoon. A little after 1 Soraya and her family sowed up. They helped serve lunch at the Senior Center and as they walked in Maddie spoke up, "Ok, Camilla and Caroline you are on kid duty so they are all in the barn right now. Soraya, go help the cooks and Dillon, find my dad as you will be on drink duty." Soraya laughed and saluted her, "Yes my captain." She smiled as Amy and Lou, "Oh my god, Lou deja'vu much." They all laughed and went on their way as Maddie huffed, checking her list. The afternoon was filled with holding babies, kids running around and adults catching up. Everyone was really interested in Amy and Ty's trip to the conference and how much press it received. Jack laughed, "You two are something else, it seems everywhere you go, you just drum up more business." Amy smiled, "Well I won't lie, I was nervous but it seemed to go well. The morning after the presentation we were set up in a room and had a line all day with questions. Lou and Jenn, just a warning, we are going to have a lot of visitors as a lot of people want to see what we do." Mallory spoke up, "I already have had two emails, I got it. I also have some ideas on setting up a standard agenda for the visitors. And Maddie is helping me." Everyone laughed when Annie walked in on the conversation, "Didn't mom and dad look hot too!" Everyone laughed as the couple leaned into each other remembering all the alone time they had. Lyndy noticed them and couldn't help herself. "And you know they had a lot of time together too." Amy rolled her eyes as all of the adults giggled. Tim in his usual crass self, joked, "Good lord you don't need more kids." Ty looked at him sternly as Casey and Lou smacked him before he could speak.

As everyone started to migrate to their tables the food was getting set out. The plan was to call Max and Lilly right after dinner. Three very large turkeys came out and Jack, Ty, and Scott would be doing the honors. Before dinner was served, Jack and Lisa got everyone's attention. Lisa spoke up "Ok everyone, before we eat, let's thank everyone who helped prepare the meal and set things up. A special thanks to Maddie for her amazing work organizing everything." Everyone clapped for a beaming little girl. Lisa continued, "This has been amazing year for our family and business. Two new babies, the merger of Fairfield and Briar Ridge, the new Rehoming Center and of course Llamas. We continue to grow and our team is more dedicated and committed than ever. We had a show jumping champion, a surprise marriage, congrats Doug and Mallory, and personal growth in so many family members I cant even remember them all. Saying the future is bright is an understatement but for sure this family's legacy is in place and ready to bloom. So before we eat, Jack will say grace." Everyone clapped and teared up as Jack stood up. After he led everyone in grace, he spoke, "Well Lisa pretty much said what I was thinking but as always I will be asking what each of you are thankful for. Since it would take all night to get through everyone I would ask that you share with your families and if you want to tell me feel free." Everyone laughed and almost on cue, Sienna giggled loudly which increased the laughter. JT finally spoke up, "Come on GG, let's eat, I'm starving." As Trent and Shawna tickled him Jack laughed, "Well you heard the man, let's eat." Everyone filled their plates leaving room for the turkey being cut to order. The room was full of love as everyone was joking and laughing. The only thing louder was the clanging of silverware. Lou, Lisa and Amy got plates for their men as they carved, so they didn't have to wait. The kids were well behaved on the porch and didn't even need Lyndy and Wyatt to chaperone. Annie, Addie, Camila and Caroline took control with periodic visits from the moms. The elder group including Amy and Ty watched over the feast, smiling at how amazing it was. Scott joked, "So Amy and Ty how was the alone time?" Amy blushed and looked down, "Ty and I really had a good time. On Sunday afternoon we went to an amazing ranch owned by the association chairman and her husband for a trail ride and BBQ. Grandpa, this place was huge, as big as all of our properties together. They are in the horse business mainly with thoroughbreds but they also have dairy cattle." Lou laughed, "Really Amy, that is your answer about alone time? We know you two better than that." Amy gathered herself and smiled, "TY and I had a really nice time." As the meal finished the cleanup crew got to work. After desert was passed out they called Max and Lilly. When the call connected a smiling Lilly answered, excited to be able to see and talk to everyone. Max joked, "Really you call us during desert, that is torture." Everyone laughed as they showed off the babies first and then the grandkids.

As usual Lilly gushed over the kids. She couldn't get enough of Sienna and now little Matthew. She cooed, "Oh Georgie, he is so handsome, like his daddy and Katie, I bet when we come at Christmas, little Sienna will be on the move. She seems to have that Fleming spirit for sure." They continued to chat when Lilly asked if they could talk with JT, Ty and Amy alone for a few minutes. Everyone understood as they took the iPad into JT's room. She smiled, "So, little man how did everything go the other day?" He smiled meekly, "It was Ok, the people were nice. Mom, Dad, Lyndy and Wyatt came to so that made it easier and that nice nurse was there, she makes me laugh a lot. They just asked me a lot of questions. A couple were hard to answer but I tried my best." He hesitated, "I don't know I guess I just don't understand why they are so interested, it kind of makes me feel different. Some of the kids heard about it and are treating me like I am a weirdo or something." Amy grabbed Ty's hand as this was the first time they had heard him say that. Amy just wanted to hug him but Lilly took over. "Well let me tell you something JT. You are an amazing young man. You are caring and thoughtful. You love your family and have a unique ability to link us to the past. There is nothing weird about that and those kids are just jealous. JT I love you. You have always been there for me and I promise I will always be there for you, even after we are apart." JT took a second to comprehend what she said and his eyes got wide, "Grandma, are you Ok? She smiled so wanting to hold him, "Oh honey, I am good, well as good as an old lady can be. But like we have talked about, one day I will not be here physically for you. And remember you need to take care of Max and I will be checking in every once in a while to make sure you are." Amy, Ty and Max were speechless as JT smiled, "Don't worry grandma, I got you covered." They talked for a few minutes more. Lilly had decided to come up in a couple weeks and go back with Max after he comes in for New Years which made JT and Ty really happy. After they said goodbye they went back into the party and JT went right to Trent and Shawna smiling and happy. As soon as she saw them, Lyndy came over to her mom, "How is he doing, I figure him and grandma had a conversation about his study thing." Amy smiled hugging her and whispering, "He is Ok but still is a little troubled so we need to keep an eye on him, without him knowing." Ty smiled, "Yea, good luck with that." Amy and Ty filled in Jack, Lisa, Scott and Lou making sure they understood to keep it covert. The party continued and Jack announced, "Everyone, I hope you have told those you love what you are thankful for, I know I have. Does anyone care to share with the family what they are thankful for. Everyone sat for second when a little voice came from the back of the room.

JT stood proudly in front of the room, "I am thankful for my family, especially my mom and dad, they are the best. I love my sisters and brother, GG and Mimi, Grandpa Max and Tim and Grandma Casey. I also love Grandma Marion and Great Grandma Lyndy for always listening to me and giving me help. But I can't tell a lie, I really love my Grandma Lilly. She is my best friend and always knows what to say to me and is a good listener. I mean everyone is but she is special. So thank you all for being my family." Everyone laughed and smiled at the same time. Addie stepped up, "I am thankful for my friends and family, especially Desi who is kind of cool." She blushed and continued, "And I am really thankful to be working on a secret project that will make someone really happy at Christmas." There was laughter and whispers were shared. Several others spoke up about what they were thankful for including Caleb, who had some funny things to say as he held on to Cass and their two kids. Ty and Amy stood up together as he talked, "Well Amy and I are thankful about a lot of things like our amazing kids, family and friends. We are thankful for our business and how well it is doing." We have bult an amazing enterprise and our success is because of every that we work with. We have never seen people so committed and dedicated to our success as a team. Our family legacy is important but the legacy of our team's families is just as important." Amy leaned into him and kissed his cheek adding, "And I am really thankful for the new Rehoming Center. Finding homes for horses was my mom's true love in life and to be able to do that here is very important to our family and our organization." She had a tear in her eyes and she helped Ty tighter. Lyndy scoffed, "Geez you two, didn't you get enough last weekend." Realizing what she said she turn the brightest red ever and hid in Wyatt's arms as he laughed, "That's my girlfriend." Everyone smiled and hugs for Amy were given. An unusually solemn Mallory spoke up, "Well I am thankful for my son, my husband and my new daughter. I am so happy that I came back home and that Amy and Ty trusts me to help them with their busy lives. Jack, you have always been my rock and I will always love you for that." Doug came to join her as she continued, "And I am also thankful because we just found out we are having a baby!" A eerie quiet came over the room as the first screams came from Trent and Shawna as they ran to their parents. The room erupted in applause and congratulations as Lou, Amy, Georgie and Katie ran to her for a group hug. Jack stood back smiling with tears in his eyes. Mallory saw him and ran to him. She hugged him tightly as he smiled at his adopted granddaughter. She had been dealt a bad deck of cards in life and he was so happy for her now. He whispered, "Congratulations kiddo." All she could do is hug him harder. Several people went back for seconds, especially the pies and were sure food comas would happen soon. As the evening died down, everyone pitched in to clean up as Wyatt and Lyndy to a bunch of the kids out to take care of all the horses, not just the family ones. Caleb and the ranch hand were really happy as it allowed them some time off. As Jack sat with Lisa, Amy, Ty and others he proclaimed, "I think this was the best Thanksgiving ever." Everyone smiled in agreement.

The Bordens slept in the next morning as the only thing they needed to do was tend to their horses. Amy got up first as her and Ty were up a little later than planned. Lyndy came down too and they prepared a real light breakfast as they all consumed a lot the day before. Lunch and dinner would be leftovers and everyone was excited. As they worked, Amy asked, "Hey where is Wyatt?' She smiled, "Well he had a visitor last night and when I came down I peeked in to see JT with him. I think he needed him last night, you know a lot going on." Amy smiled warmly, "Those two are pretty tight and I am so happy that JT can go to him. You know what Lyndy, that guy is a keeper." She giggled, "Just like dad is one." They laughed as the kids, Ty and Wyatt started coming down, all of them very groggy. Maddie complained, "Ughhh, I can't even look at food." Annie smiled and agreed, "I know me to." The day was very restful in fact almost every one of them took a nap. Lyndy and Wyatt decided to go see an afternoon movie but the rest of the kids hung around the house. After their long night, Amy and Ty napped for two hours after lunch in each other's arms. At dinner, the talk was all about Mallory and another baby. Annie laughed, "Man another baby, we may need to expand the Day Care mom." She laughed, "I know for sure, but remember the kids do leave when they go to kindergarten." They all continued to talk and when finished with dinner they cleaned up and headed off to bed – everyone was tired. Amy and Ty made the rounds and when they got to Lyndy's room as usual, Wyatt and her were talking. Lyndy smiled as the knocked and came in, "Mom and Dad we were talking about Wyatt's birthday." Wyatt smiled, "Well Lyndy was talking about it. I just want family for the party. Lyndy and I are going out with Rusty, Haley, Katie and Clay for dinner one night and on a date the next, if that is Ok." Ty smiled, whatever you want buddy, its your birthday." They said good night and Ty tapped his wrist like usual. Lyndy rolled her eyes and as they shut the door she leaned into him for a passionate kiss. They were startled when Amy opened the door to ask Lyndy one more thing and stopped in her tracks, "Sorry." They giggled as Lyndy whispered in his ear, "I cant wait to give you your birthday present our date." His eyes raised as she smacked him laughing, "Whatever lover boy."

As they got in their room a blushing Amy looked at Ty as he joked, "Nice one momma bear." She cooed, "So was I your momma bear last night?" He put his fingers on his chin, "I guess so, was I a good papa bear?" She laughed seductively, "Well maybe we should go to our den and get it on." He laughed but before he could respond she just about tackled him. She began to disrobe him as they stumbled to their bed. The last two days had been amazing family time, coming off of their weekend together. The fell into bed less the clothes they came in with. There was no holding them back as they loved each other completely, helping the other achieve climax after climax. Amy moaned as Ty's lips and hands were all over her body stimulating her completely. She returned the favor by meeting his desires to the fullest. They were completely lost in their love making. Amy laid back and welcomed Ty as he entered her completely. They moved together as one and completely enjoyed the feeling of each other. As they reached the peak of their love they each moaned the other's name over and over. The laid back next to each other catching their breath. Ty was able to speak first, "Momma bear was amazing." She giggled, "So was Pappa bear, especially that one thing you did." He reach over to hold her tightly. They held each other as sleep approached. Suddenly the was a loud knock on the door. Ty was the closest and quickly threw on his PJs and answered the door. Lyndy was frantic as Amy came up behind him tying her robe. "Mom, Dad, come quick, something is wrong with JT." As they approached his room Annie, Addie and Maddie, were holding each other with tears in their eyes outside in the hall. As they entered they saw an extremely upset JT who looked like he was still sleeping. Wyatt looked up as he held him with a look of worry and spoke quietly, "I heard him yelling and came down right away with Lyndy right behind me. He kept repeating things, like, No she cant leave me, I need her. And there was other stuff I couldn't understand. I think I heard him say Grandma Marion's name too. Amy replaced Wyatt holding him tightly as he was still shaking and mumbling something. Ty crouched down in from of him calling his name softly, gently trying to wake him up. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes and looked puzzled, "What is going on, why are you all in my room?" Ty looked at him and smiled, "Well you kind of woke us up so we came to see you, how are you?" JT giggled, "That's weird, hey mom do we still have leftovers I am really hungry. Ty looked at Amy as he had no idea what to think. Everyone joined in on a midnight snack and they decided to let JT sleep with them. Tomorrow would be a day where they needed to find to what happened. As he slept, Amy laid wide awake staring at him. Ty put his arm around them and whispered to a worried Amy, "Everything will be Ok."
