Ch.7 Much More Than Friends
Lucy would park infront of the resort and jump out of her kart. "My mother has let us loyal children spent some time at this resort…and since you're on the road to become my royal partner…it's only fair that you get to spend some time here aswell…"
Lucy would walk to the other side of her kat as Christie would silently hold her stomach
"Oh you must be starving…common we'll get you something to eat, than you can bathe and rest…since I'm pretty sure you didn't do much of that down in that hole…" Lucy would help Christie out of her kart and into the resort
They'd walk into a fancy eating area where the others would be, Christie would notice right away that the altered children had slightly darker tones in their usual colors of their clothing, they'd glare at her before Kevin would wave a hand and they'd
Christie would nervously look around for Jr.
"…You…you said Jr vas here…" She'd state nervously
"Indeed I did…JR!" Lucy would cry out
On cue he'd teleport before them and look at Christie surprised.
"Christie?"
"Jr?"
Lucy would move away to give the 2 some privacy
Jr would hug his sister as Christie would notice his colors have darken aswell, she'd softly sigh and hug her brother
"It's been far too long Christie…"
"It has just been a day Jr…"
"Still one day too many…"
They'd let go of each other as Jr would glance at the others. "It's funny really…ze Queen vonted to make ze perfect vorld for us…I voke up in ze zrone room viz her vatching over me…she explained what she intended to do and how ven she's done…ve'll all be happy…" Jr would say in his normal happy tone
"And you're just going along viz it?" Christie would ask
"Indeed…Kevin and Lucy…zey care about us…and intend on continuing to be an amazing Prince and Princess duo…viz us by zeir respective sides…"
"…ok…if it's for ze best…zen I'll keep an open mind…"
Jr would smile. "I must go…I vas just finishing setting up ze next activity for everyone…" He'd walk away as Lucy would rub her shoulder
"See? Same old Jr…"
"…What did you change in him?"
Lucy would chuckle. "He was only shown the light…but that's not my concern…what is my concern is getting you fed…" She'd sit Christie down at a table and look at Kevin and gesture at the rest
Kevin would nod. "Ok everyone Jr should be done setting up for Volleyball…let's get going…" The others would nod and follow him out
Leaving Christie and Lucy alone
A few minutes later candy chefs would bring the girls they're respective favorite meals, Lucy would eat her and watch Christie devour hers in rather quick fashion. "If your still hungry…Lucy would push her plate over to her-…you can have mine…I'm not that hungry I ate right before I went and got you…"
Christie would silently look at her than at the plate. "Zanks…" She'd eat it as Lucy would rink her soda
Christie would look at Lucy again. "…So…you spared me…since…you vonted a partner?"
"Partly…it's no lie that Nya, Nikki, Linke, you and I were a tight friend group…and with the escape of the fugitives…I only had Linke…and she's a great friend…but I missed our group…and even though Linke is an amazing friend…I didn't feel that very special connection that I share with just you…"
"So…you had a crush?" Christie would ask blushing slightly
Lucy would smile blushing alittle. "It's no lie…I had a massive one…infact I had planned on asking you at right before my mother informed me of her plans…"
Christie would finish eating and drinking. "Say I don't accept zis…since vell…my family has been killed…by brozer has been changed…and I don't feel comfortable?"
Lucy's smile and happy expression would suddenly turn into a cold slightly peeved glare. "Well…I'd be hurt…since hypothetically you'd be rejecting me…after I just opened up about my feelings for you…on things that were done out of necessity and I had no control over…though…that pain would probably fade into sheer anger…since well…hypothetically you'd be denying your Princess who clearly loves and cares for you…and you'd be showing me that your mother's corruption spread to you aswell…and I would be forced to take action…and do something that would really hurt me in carrying out…but would be necessary…to preserve this world and ensure it's perfected…"
Christie would shake nervously as Lucy's facial expression would return to normal
"That was just a hypothetical question…-she'd give Christie a small glare-…right?" She'd drink the last sip of her soda
"Indeed…it…it was completely hypothetical…since vell…I had already accepted your offer of being your royal partner…"
Lucy would set her glass down and smile again. "That's great to hear…come…let's go back to my personal suite where you can wash up…" She'd get up and take Christie's hand and walk her towards her room
Christie would nervously follow. "You alvays vonted to be viz Lucy…here's your chance…but…it still feels so wrong…shut up! It's ze one reason your still alive…" She'd debate in her mind
Lucy would open the door to her room and walk Christie inside, she'd walk her to her large bathroom. "I had servants fetch your cleaning products…there waiting in the shower for you…the towels rack is right there beside the shower…and when your done I'll let you rest in my bed…"
Christie would nod. "Zank you Lucy…"
"My pleasure…" Lucy would smile and kiss her on the cheek than walk out
Some time passes and Lucy would sit at the bed holding a photo of her, Christie, Linke, Nya and Nikki and sigh. "Well I have half the group atleast…"
She'd than smile. "But once the fugitives are caught…children of the enemy or not…my friends will be by my side…and mother will see I can and do hold influence among the children…"
There'd be a knock at the door.
"Who is it?"
"It's Jr…"
She'd open the door. "What is it Jr?"
Jr would back away and motion for her to step into the hallway and close the door behind her
Lucy would do so and Jr would freeze her in place
"Jr…what are you doing?" Lucy would ask glaring at him
"Orders from your mozer…she vishes to see my sister…alone…"
"Why? My father said I could have Christie!"
"No I didn't mean to sound like she's going to harm her…she's just ensuring she isn't lying to you…so she can betray you later…and to make sure zat Christie is worzy of being your partner…"
"Last time I checked I decide whose worthy of my love…not my mother Jr! Now let me go!"
"Shh…please…I know my sister…she's a brilliant liar…your mozer is just making sure she doesn't intend to break your heart…stay quiet and you'll hear zem…"
Lucy would quiet down and they'd both hear Christie leave the bathroom
She'd look around. "Lucy? You here?"
She'd look around the room nervously and see the door to the balcony overlooking the beach. "Lucy? Anybody?" She'd look around then move towards the door
"Where do you think your going? Christie Batterbutter Crisp…" She'd hear Vanellope's dark sinister tone of voice
Her head would snap towards the corner and she'd see Vanellope standing there coldly staring at her.
"Oh! Your majesty! I…I uh…uh…didn't expect to see you so soon…"
"Oh did you not? I mean…my daughter is in love with you…it was inevitable you were going to be presented to me…but I wanted to see you right away…"
"May I ask vy your majesty?" Christie would nervously ask
Vanellope would walk over to her and look down at the fear-stricken Christie. "Your mother was a liar…a deceitful and merciless usurper…and I don't want to see my daughter be used and lied too…"
"I haven't lied to Lucy!"
"Your entire conversation while you ate was a nothing but a massive lie…"
"Vot do you mean?!"
"That entire hypothetical question was nothing but you rejecting my daughter…now here you are…using the trust and love she has for you…" Vanellope would pull her sword out
"No I love Lucy!" Christie would nervously back away
"Do you really?" Vanellope would ask as she'd put the tip of the sword under Christie's chin
"I loved her! I alvays vonted to be viz her! Almost falling to my death just affected me alittle…I just needed a few minutes to recover! I love your daughter! And I'd do anysing for her!"
"Then prove it…"
"H-how?"
Vanellope would give Christie a small Crimson red ring. "Put that ring on…than pledge yourself to me than to Lucy…"
"Vot vill zis do?" Christie would point to the ring
"Ensure your telling me the truth…"
Christie would put the ring on her finger and immediately clutch her head and fall to her knees.
Vanellope would smile as Christie would darken slightly and look up at her
"Now pledge yourself…" Vanellope would smile
Christie would smile. "Queen Vanellope Von Schweetz…from now till ze day zat I die…I'll serve you viz ze uttermost loyalty…and vill defend you till my final moments…"
Vanellope would pat her head. "You passed my test…my daughter is lucky to have you…Jr…you may let her in…"
Jr would unfreeze Lucy who'd walk in and see her mother standing beside Christie
"Mother…what did you do?"
"Oh I did nothing harmful sweetie…the ring would stop shining if Christie lied…and as you can clearly see…it's still shinning brightly…I was only ensuring your heart wouldn't be broken…"
Lucy would hug Vanellope
"Though I do think Christie has something to tell you…"
Lucy would let go of her mother and face Christie
Christie would hold Lucy hands and look her in the eyes with a smile
"Lucy…I'm honored to be your partner…and to prove zat…I vow till ze day I die…my heart, love and life…vill all belong to you…"
Lucy would smile. "I knew you'd come around…"
"Zanks for being patient…"
Christie would kiss Lucy and wrap her arms around her, both would blush as they'd continue to kiss
Jr would teleport away and Vanellope would glitch back to her throne, Rancis would be standing beside the throne room.
"So you altered Christie's code?"
"Slightly…no way I was allowing anyone spawned from Torvald and Lodhi Sr to have complete free will…she's not as shackled to my will as Jr is…however she is completely shackled to Lucy's…"
"So you made her an obedient girlfriend for Lucy?"
"Until I can secure complete control once more…I don't want to take chances…I know Lodhi Sr survived his fall…though where he is now is anyone's guess…Torvald's spirit rescued Norville who fled into the forest…then there's the fugitives and whatever they might try to do…they'll be forced to return one day…and I wish to be ready for it…"
"Ah…so just taking precautions but ensuring our daughter remains happy?"
"Of course…although…the fact she fell for a Crisp child is surprising…though…I bet Torvald is in agony knowing her daughter is now in the possession of my daughter…"
"So what's next my dear?"
"Simple…find Lodhi Sr…deal with him once and for all…find where the fugitives are hiding…capture them…and bring about their final punishments…"
"What about our other servants?"
"I'll bring them back tomorrow…I wish for them to suffer in that hell world I created for one more night…"
"WAIT…YOU WEREN'T JOKING YOU REALLY MADE A POCKET DIMENSION JUST TO TORTURE THEM?!"
Vanellope would glare at Rancis who'd gulp and back away. "I didn't mean to sound like that…"
"We both know you did…and both know why I didn't send you there…"
"But Nelly…what you said about it…they're going through pure madness…"
"And from that suffering they'll have learn that this time around…I will no longer tolerate failure…I will rule my perfect world…and no one is going to stop me…"
"But Nelly…"
"Enough Rancis!"
Rancis would jump abit in fear
"15 years…15 YEARS I WAS TORTURED DAILY! THAN WHEN I TOOK OVER AND GOT MY JUSTIFIED REVENGE TORVALD RUINED EVERYTHING! FOR 11 YEARS I HAD TO PRETEND TO BE A WEAK-WILLED BITCH!"
Rancis would back away in fear
"THEY'RE LUCKY I DIDN'T DESTROY THIS GAME WITH THEM IN IT! THEY SHOULD BE THANKFUL I'M WILLING TO BRING THEM BACK AFTER I KILL THEM! AND WHEN I'M DONE…THEY'LL ALL UNDERSTAND! THEY DESERVE TO SUFFER…AND WHEN I KILL THEM OR TORTURE THEM…THEY SHOULD PRAY I FIND THE BIT OF KINDNESS I STILL POSSESS TO BRING THEM BACK!"
Rancis would look at her terrified as Vanellope would take a few deep breathes
"I apologize Vanellope…I didn't mean to hit a nerve…"
"I understand Rancis…it's just this time around…I will get my perfect world…"
"And what world is that my dear sweet darling?"
"Simple…life proceeds as normal…but everyone knows there's a debt owed to me that can never truly be repaid…and the only way to even begin to pay that debt is through pain, suffering and death by my hands…they'll pray for resurrection and praise me for when I show them the mercy they never showed me…and the children…the children will know better than to bully or make fun of anyone…they'll be taught that they're all equal…and should one dare bully another…justice will be swift and painful…"
"So you going to eradicate bullying?"
"I suffered through it for 15 years…I wouldn't wish it on an innocent child…"
"Well…atleast the children will be looked after…"
"As I told Lucy…the children are innocent in all of this…it's the adults that I have a quarrel with…and once they are dealt with…I will ensure this world is a paradise for the children…a paradise I was denied…and never given the chance to enjoy…"
