Something is up, something is going to happen and it might have something to do with the previous chapter, and some words straight from the woman who is now accepting the truth of things, and the reality of what is right and wrong. Chapter 339: A Big Meeting...
(August 27. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Outside of the Loud House, are the loud sisters and all of them waiting for the return of their brother Lincoln, since he is now discharged from the hospital, but they are kinda saddened to hear that he will still have the casts on his right arm and right leg, and are still ticked off after what Chandler had done. Also with them, are Jordan Rosato and Amanda Bright.
Lola then asks. "What is taking them so long? Are they stuck in traffic or something?"
"Could be" replied Lucy. "But then again, I don't think they are."
Leni then intervenes. "Girls calm down and be patient. They will be back soon." She then realizes. "Still, it will be rough for Lincoln to go around the house." They all understand and know why.
Lori then notices Rita and Lynnard are talking about something, and she is confused. 'Now what the literal heck are those two up to?'
Lynn Jr is on the tree, and then she sees something. "Here they come!" They all see the Red Ferrari from Michelle Lewis, the vehicle parks at the driveway and coming out is Luna and Michelle, they then open the door and bring out the wheel chair and Lincoln. Michelle helps him onto the wheel chair.
Michelle then waves to the two tanks who drive by them. "Thanks for the escort service." The loud sisters head over, and they hug Lincoln and he smiles and hugs them back, feeling happy to be back with his sisters and away from being on a hospital bed, but it is still a bummer that he is on a wheel chair.
Amanda Bright comes over and she hugs the boy and kisses his forehead. "So glad that you're alright now, Lincoln. I don't know what would've happened if you were gone, and everyone would be devastated. I also got you two new Marvel comic books." Now that one makes Lincoln happy, and the others are glad to see how much Amanda is being a mother to him. Luna and Michelle find this impressive.
They then allow Jordan to hug him and also give him a kiss. "We're glad you're back home Lincoln, all of us are. We even have some food ready for you, and some special things to help you around the house."
Lincoln smiles. "Glad to know..." But then he recalls, that the new plan is now in motion after what had gone down days ago, but before he can speak they see Lynnard and Rita come out of the house and they both look concerned, but this annoys and angers both Michelle and Luna.
"Lincoln, we're glad that you're alright again, sorta" replied Lynnard. "Dang, you can take a hit."
"We're so worried, and we just... We're sorry that you had to endure that horrible child" replied Rita.
Lincoln doesn't respond, and he looks away from them. He is still not comfortable being around those two after what had happened. Then Lynnard speaks. "Alright, everyone we should go inside now and that also means the same for Michelle Lewis, because we need to have a very big, and serious family meeting..."
Amanda and Jordan slowly raise their hands. "That means you two can come along as well." They then lower their hands. Deep down, Michelle Lewis is getting a suspicious feeling about this.
So, they all head inside and Luna is the one wheeling Lincoln in. They all gather at the Living Room, where Lincolns' wheel chair is close to where Luna, Michelle, Jordan and Amanda are and the loud sisters take the two couches to sit on.
They then let Rita speak. "Alright, so before we begin..." He looks towards Lincoln and Luna, and he can see Lincoln doesn't wanna look at her, and Luna looks miffed. "Lincoln... Luna. We need to know... Were we really bad parents to you both? And, we want the full truth."
This surprises everyone, they didn't see this coming. Luna speaks. "You both are."
Luna then continues. "You two have always been ignoring Lincoln and leaving him out of things for a long time, and I was there to make sure he wasn't alone or neglected because he is our brother, and supposed to be your son. You have been too focused on getting me into stupid rock n' roll and not even listening to a dang thing that I say every single time. Almost like you got cotton in your ears."
"The only time that you ever have Lincoln come along is when we go to the activities of the others." That one makes the sisters feel bad. "Or to activities which doesn't fit his interest, and also you keep on forgetting that you have eleven kids, forgetting Lincoln's own birthday which we end up doing instead and always focusing on the others like you favor them like golden trophies to show off."
That part makes the loud sisters feel worse, and makes Lola feel a little sick and Lynn Jr feels like vomiting, but she doesn't want to for a valid good reason. "You two have never ever acknowledged Lincoln, he is special and everything you two have done, and the truth that you two have confessed, is all too despicable, cruel and horrible. You both deserve twenty years in prison."
This outburst from Luna makes them all silent and feel bad. Michelle tries to comfort Lincoln, and then Rita has some tears.
"I... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, for... for everything... I am... We are horrible parents..." This surprises them, and her tears are legit genuine. She tries to calm down, and speak. "You're right, and Michelle... She's done things b-better than us, I just..." she then tries to regain herself. "I am so sorry for those words I said, all of them were horrible, and cruel and all because I was jealous..."
"Jealous that Michelle Lewis was a better mother, and parent the either of us could've ever done. That she has done a lot of things that we would be afraid to do or were too stupid or dense to figure it out. I didn't think I would say those words, and I wish I could take those horrible words and insults back, but the damage has been done, and you both... Deserve better than us... Than me."
They all remain silent, and then Lynnard speaks. "We did some thinking, and I already realized the truth of reality, and the other day Rita realized it too." He sighs. "Lincoln and Luna... We haven't been the best parents to you, and you're words hit hard but hit the truth and we need to try and deal with it. We are terrible parents, to you both mostly."
"We spoke some more about this last night, and we came to an agreement... Michelle, you don't need to carry on the plan anymore, because we both now see that Lincoln and Luna are better off with you. We are glad that our daughters are alright with this, and so we are willing to give you custody of Lincoln and Luna, to be your children."
All of them remain silent, and quiet. Lynn Jr then accidentally spits her soda on Lisa, but she doesn't even bother. Amanda Bright drops her note pad, and Luan is so confused and surprised. Lucy remains the same, but even she is stunned to hear this.
Lincoln is bewildered. "This... This is a dream, right mom? J-Just like the dreams we have been happening?"
Lynnard then speaks. "This is for the best. We need to try and make up for the mistakes we have made, but it might not work for Lincoln and Luna, since knowing the truth of words has already broken so much trust and forgiveness."
Rita then speaks. "Michelle Lewis... She is the true mother you both have ever wanted, and needed."
Michelle Lewis is still at a loss for words. She then calms down and speaks. "Thank you... Thank you for this... Even though, I was had this plan to end the plan already and then claim Lincoln and Luna, but I guess this is fine instead." That one they didn't see coming, but it all sounds understandable.
Michelle then has an idea. "How's about, tomorrow for one last day... Lincoln and Luna spend some time with their sisters, before they come home with me?"
The loud sisters love this idea, and so do Lincoln and Luna and they gather around them for a group hug, though Lynnard and Rita decide not to join in and let this be, and they can see that it sounds like a good idea.
Rita is still feeling distraught about this, but then she sees the tears of joy from Lincoln and Luna, as they embrace Michelle Lewis. This makes her smile and realizes, that if this makes them happy then that's alright and fine with her. This is for the best, for Lincoln and Luna.
A/N: Whoa! Didn't see that coming, or did we? Well, looks like tomorrow is the last time for Lincoln and Luna to be around inside the Loud House, because they are both going to become part of the Lewis Family. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
