Feels like literal ages have passed since I last updated this story
I hope this chapter makes up for it
It is by far the longest chapter I've written up to this point
So without further ado
Vanellope made a mini world to punish those she harboured a decades old grudge against
Just how have the slain racers been doing in there?

Ch.8 Into the Hell-Realm
(Shortly after the ending of the last chapter)
Vanellope would reach for something beside her throne
"What are you doing my darling?" Rancis would ask
"Time to check on everyone in Hell is doing…" Vanellope would respond
"So not only did you build an inter mini-world just to torture them…you built a device to watch it?"
Vanellope would glare at him. "What's the god damn point of creating a world if I can't even see it in action?"
"I-I-I didn't mean it like that!" Rancis would respond nervously
Vanellope would pull out a large glowing orb from beside her throne. "It'd be rather illogical to build a world meant for punishing others, and not being able to see whether or not the world is effective and achieving desired results…"
"Fair enough…"
Vanellope's expression would soften. "You don't have to watch…your free to go and do whatever you feel like doing…I know you hate seeing this kind of stuff…I made this…-she'd gesture to the orb-…for my personal use anyways…"
"Ok…call if you need anything…" Rancis would bow and leave the throne room
Vanellope would put out the torch that would be the only source of light in the room. "Now…let's see how everyone is doing…" She'd rub the orb and it'd begin shining as colors would begin to swirl around in it, after a few seconds a world of flames would appear.
(Meanwhile in said world)
Candlehead would wake up lying in the dirt of what would be the entrance to the castle gates.
"W-what's going on?" She'd sit up rubbing herself off when she'd quickly notice several things.
Most buildings would look burnt out and destroyed, the very ground was burnt to a crisp, and several small fires were currently raging across the world
Heck even the mountain where Lodhi Sr's chalet was located was entirely on fire, the snow looking more like coal if anything.
"W-w-what is this place?" She'd ask aloud looking over her surroundings and seeing nothing but embers.
"This is the Hell-Realm…made just for you...Ditz…" She'd hear Vanellope whisper in her ear
Candlehead would quickly turn around and see nothing
"WHERE ARE YOU?! IN MY HEAD?! AGAIN?!" She'd shout
She'd hear Vanellope's chuckle echo around her
"No…I'm not…though…unless you want to get turned to ash like the others…I suggest you start running…"
"What do you mean burned to ash?"
"Look around Candlehead…"
Candlehead would look around and quickly noticed a large pile of ash with Phipps signature hat placed beside
"Oh god…"
Candlehead would take a step back and step on something that would crack under her feet
She'd quickly looked down and see a pile of ash around a semi-ash charred skeleton wearing Taffyta's severely burned hat
Candlehead would scream as she'd cover her mouth, tears falling down her face
Vanellope would chuckle again
"You…you…you brought them here…only to burn them?!"
"Felt it fitting you'd all burn in hell…"
Candlehead would look around only seeing more and more piles of ash or badly brunt skeletons wearing the badly burnt clothing of the other slain racers
"Taffyta, Swizzle, Crumbelina, Phipps and Marcy…you burnt them all?! What did Phipps and Marcy even do to deserve this?!"
"They aided you…they picked their sides…they suffer the consequences…"
Candlehead would keep looking around panicking at the sight as Vanellope would chuckle
"Well…your time for running is up…get ready to burn…"
"W-what?" Candlehead would reply snapping out of her panicked state
"Oh you'll see…in…3…2…1"
On cue a giant wall of fire spanning the entire length of the world would spawn at the castle and would fly towards her.
Candlehead would shriek and run, Vanellope's laughter would follow her
Candlehead would run through the destroyed village, most only having walls still standing, others semi-intact, while others would be nothing but smouldering embers
Candlehead would feel hotter and hotter and would look over her shoulder and see the massive wall of flames closing in, it'd still be 20ish feet away, yet it would feel she's standing in them
She'd scream and keep running, looking for anywhere to hide from the flame's wrath
Yet there'd be none in sight
She'd run into the now burnt out Candy cane forest, the heat on her back growing ever hotter,
Candlehead would keep running until she hit a rock and stumble
The wall would jet towards her rapidly
She'd let out one last shriek
"CANDLEHEAD!" She'd hear a voice cry out as a hand would quickly grab her arm and pull her behind a large rock, before Candlehead could say anything she'd be slam faced down on the ground and her rescuer would lay on top of her
Candlehand would see the wave pass by them she'd feel extremely hot as the flames would flash by them
The ground would remain in flames momentarily before the flames would go out
The rescuer would stand up. "You ok?"
Candlehead would look up and see it would be Taffyta, she'd be covered in burn marks and her clothing would also look burnt
"T-T-Taffyta? I-I…I saw your charred corpse at the castle…"
"Yea…we all died there when we first got transported here…but in classic Vanellope fashion…she wasn't done with us just yet…though common…we can't stay here…that flame wave occurs like every 5-30 minutes…"
"O-ok…" Candlehead would take her hand and she'd stand up
"So everyone is together? Even Crumbelina?" Candlehead would ask
"No…we got separated early on…I haven't seen anyone in over 10 hours…I heard screaming…but couldn't find anyone…-she'd glance over towards the castle in the distance-…common we need to move fast…"
"W-why?"
"When the castle flashes brightly…means another wave is hitting soon…common…I got a place…" Taffyta would run off
Candlehead would silently follow
They'd run for a few minutes and get close to a large hill
"Common it's just on the other side…" Taffyta would state
The 2 would climb the hill and turn around to see another large flame wave spawn and jet out
"Common!" Taffyta would grab Candlehead's arm and pull her down the other side of the hill where there'd be a large hole dug into the hill
Both would run into the dugout and see the flame wave pass by them shortly after
Candlehead would look around. "You dug this yourself?"
"Yea…when we were first spawned here the world was normal…than with every wave of flames…more got destroyed…after the first burning I ran to my place and others, and grabbed what tools weren't destroyed…whenever the next wave hit…I threw everything I had into the hole...even if it meant I didn't have enough space…"
"Wait…how many times have you been burned?"
"All I'll say is don't look at the bottom of the hill…"
Candlehead would look at the bottom of the hill anyway and see dozens of burned corpses and skeletons laying at the bottom
"OH MY GOD!"
"I told you not to look…"
"How…how many times have you died?"
"I stopped counting after 14…"
"Is that wave not survivable?"
"It depends…"
"Depends on what?"
"Blind fucking luck…"
"Elaborate?"
Taffyta would sigh. "The effects seem to fluctuate at times…sometimes it'll burn you straight to ash…as you saw at the castle…other times it'll burn you badly but leave you alive…I saw Marcy get fulling engulfed in a wave like 20 hours ago…she was set on fire and burned badly…but was able to keep moving…"
"How?"
"A special twist…despite all damage the fire may cause us…we can still keep moving at 100%...the catch…we feel the pain…let's say I get my left leg burned all the way to the bone…I can still walk, run, heck even kick with it…but I'll feel the unimaginable pain and damage, I can run but I can't even describe the pain it puts me in…all part of Vanellope's twisted coding of this world…"
"You say that from experience?"
"Yea…and I see you've been sent to join us…"
"Yea…"
"What happened? Crumbelina said you killed her…"
"It's not what you think…"
"Start talking than…"
"Well as you probably know…we never succeeded in turning Vanellope good…"
"Yea I'm well aware of that…her fucking daughter killed me as my family fled…I know for a fact poor Nya saw the whole fucking shit show…her best friend Lucy…killing her mother…"
Candlehead would rub the back of her head. "Well whatever that bomb that supposedly cured everyone was…during the blast…I can't explain just how…but Vanellope took complete control of me…and literally altered my code so I couldn't reveal the awful truth…couldn't even imply that we might've failed…using said control…when everyone started dropping like flies…she had me kill Crumbelina…she instructed me to only shoot Crumbs once…I tried stopping myself…but with the order that control she had over me took hold…all I could do was empty the 6 rounds I had in the chamber…"
"Why did you fire 6 times?"
"To ensure she went quickly…I couldn't stop myself from shooting her…I could ensure she wouldn't suffer…"
"And I'm guessing your reward for being so useful was a one-way ticket here?"
"No…everyone except well you and the others here managed to reach Lodhi's Chalet…you know that hallway some children were playing in before it's malfunction? Gloyd connected it to his system of tunnels in the game…it gave them a straight shot to the game's exit…though we didn't know that at the time…Norville was the only obstacle…Lucy had corrupted the other powered children…Torvald sabotaged the wiring so the doorway would stay closed…Vanellope killed her in turn…she sent the adults in to apprehend Norville and if need be…put him to 'sleep'…Rancis had us attack…I was guilt ridden over killing Crumbs…and Norville's power hurt me badly because of it…my guilt literally debilitated me…Nougetsia as well…she was distraught over Marcy's death…Norville quickly dispatched of Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Citrusella and Snowanna…easily beat Nougetisa when she broke free of the hold the guilt held over her…Rancis gave him trouble but was also quickly subdued…which then left me…I felt Vanellope's control over me starting to take hold once more…but than…" Candlehead would tear up.
"Than what?"
"Norville broke me out of it…"
"How?"
"He wasn't aggressive…he just stood there like the little child he was…he…even after everything…he…he called me auntie…"
"Well just about every child calls you that…you are the game's babysitter for crying out loud…"
"Yea…but even after everything that had happened…he…still saw some of me in there and called out to it…Vanellope's control broke…and I became a sobbing mess…"
"Than what happened?"
"I knew what he was going to do…he offered one last hug…I hugged him tightly…and…well…I let him kill me…"
"So you got sent here for failing?"
"Yea…but not at first…Vanellope brought us back and locked us in the Fungeon for the night…next day she personally led us back there…used a special power nullifying knife to defeat Norville…then we broke into the tunnel system only to discover that it led straight to the exit and everyone was long gone…Vanellope ordered us to march to her throne room and she glitched away…she met the children first and sent them off to a vacation with Copy Vanellope…and she punished us…"
"Punished how?"
"I can't say for the others…since I couldn't hear nor see them…but with me she strapped me to a table and stabbed me repeatedly…then when she asked why I smiled…told her the nightmare was over…"
"I see…and well…your nightmare isn't over…what did you expect?"
"My wish was heaven where Crumbs was waiting for me…but knowing Vanellope I expected empty darkness like the last time she killed me decades ago…"
Taffyta would remain silent for a few moments
"I wanted to tell you what she was planning…everytime I acted cheerful and positive when that night was brought up, or Vanellope in general was talking…I swear on everything I cherish…that was the alterations in my code talking…"
Taffyta would remain silent
"Taffyta…do you really think I'd let my son be corrupted by Lucy if I knew everything I knew? Not being able to warn him nor Crumbs was killing me…I couldn't speak it…whenever I tried to write it down I physical couldn't…there was nothing…and I mean nothing I could do to stop her…"
"I believe you…." Taffyta would respond
Candlehead would sigh with relief. "…but we should find the others…maybe they also thought like you and built protection…others might not have…"
"Marcy tried…and failed…"
"What do you mean?"
"Her house was destroyed in the first burning…she had built herself a dugout close to mine…it worked for awhile…"
"What happened?"
"20 hours ago, it broke just as the wave was reaching her…that's when I saw her get fully engulfed…"
"Th-that's horrible…"
"Yea…and more often than not…with each passing wave…more often than not the screaming I hear…it's often her's…and Crumbelina's…."
"W-w-we have to help them!"
"I've tried Candles…the times I have found them I found their ashes or burnt corpses…there never where I heard them otherwise…"
"It wouldn't hurt to keep trying…"
"You don't understand how dangerous the wave is…I can't even begin to find the proper words the describe the pain it inflicts on you…"
"I don't care…I'm helping them…" Candlehead would get up and go to leave when Taffyta would grab her shoulder.
"Wait for the next wave to pass…we'll take some of my tools just incase…and we do things my way…understand?"
Candlehead would nod
"Good…now sit down…catch your breath…don't expect any sleep…"
"Why no sleep?"
"The wave wakes you up when it passes over…"
"Ok…mine telling me about this 'first burning' you refer to?"
"Well as you know 5 of us died…we all woke up here...it was clear as day it wasn't our world…than we all heard Vanellope…we couldn't see her…but her voice was all around us…"
"I know that feeling…"
"Anyways…she welcomed us to hell…and said even though everything looked normal…it would soon change…and told us to start running…or else we'd get burned…"
"What did you guys do?"
Taffyta would sigh embarrassed. "Crumbelina raged at her…even though you killed her…she already knew Vanellope had something to do with it…Marcy begged for her life…Swizzle started running…Phipps observed our surroundings while trying to offer Vanellope any sort of deal to get out…me…well…I did like Marcy…after all this years…even what we suffered over 11 years ago…I thought we had won…and to be at Vanellope's twisted mercy…was something I wasn't prepared to face again…than I saw the flash…than the flames"
Candlehead would see Taffyta have a horrified look on her face
"…Than we burned…."
-Flashback-
Crumbelina, Swizzle, Taffyta, Marcy and Phipps would awake beside each other at the castle gates
"Where are we?" Taffyta would ask
Phipps would stand up. "This is Sugar Rush…but…it's definitely not our Sugar Rush…"
"What do you mean?" Swizzle would ask as he'd rub his head
"One…no one is here…two, the sun is missing yet there's still daylight…three, the land passed Diet Cola Mountain no longer exists…and four…and this is off my own assumptions…we're all dead…" Phipps would respond
Marcy would look at herself seeing none of the stab wounds she suffered from Nougetsia. "So what is this? Game Heaven? Some sort of Game Afterlife?" She'd look at Crumbelina
"I doubt it…previous times I died it was an empty void that lasted merely moments between my death and regeneration…even though hours or even days had passed…"
Vanellope's soft laughter would suddenly silence them all
"This is a game Afterlife…I made it specially for you all…"
The 5 would look around as Vanellope's voice would sound all around them
"I-I-I…I thought the nightmare had ended!" Taffyta would cry out
"Oh it most certainly didn't…I just needed time to plan…"
"YOU FUCKING BITCH! WHAT DID YOU DO TO CANDLEHEAD?! I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DID IT! BUT I KNOW YOU DID SOMETHING TO HER FOR HER TO KILL ME! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Vanellope would laugh softly in response
"I'd start running if I was any of you…" She'd state in a gleeful tone
"Don't got to tell me twice…" Swizzle would sprint off
Marcy would panic. "Than what is this place?! Why do we have to run?! Vanellope what's going on?!"
Vanellope would laugh again. "Oh my dear sweet Marcy…this is the Hell-Realm…I made it for you all…the perfect punishment that never ends…"
"WAIT! PLEASE! DON'T DO THIS! PLEASE! DON'T KEEP US HERE! THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING I CAN GIVE YOU IN RETURN! PLEASE I JUST WANT TO BE WITH MY SON!"
"Don't worry…your son is under my control…he'll be wonderful with his better mother…"
"PLEASE QUEEN! LET ME OUT!"
Vanellope would laugh again in response
Phipps would keep observing the surroundings. "Come now…there must be something you want from each of us…besides the obvious pain…there must be something you want…otherwise why go through the trouble of making an entire hellish world for us? And taking the extensive and difficult effort of hiding it to the point Lodhi never discovered it?"
Vanellope would laugh. "My usual tricks got old…this…this was designed to be special…as I said…it's the punishment that'll never end…I intend for all disloyal subjects to be brought here…and only once they've changed will they be free…"
Phipps eyes would narrow. "What. Do. You Want."
"I've already told you everything…"
"What you say always has multiple meetings Vanellope…and it's always what you don't say that means more…"
Vanellope would laugh softly again
Taffyta would start panicking. "Servant, test dummy, kill toy…THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING YOU WANT ME TO OFFER YOU!"
Vanellope would laugh again. "There is Taffyta…I want you to scream…and I'm about to get it…"
"PLEASE NO! PLEASE! I BEG YOU!"
Vanellope would laugh once more. "Y'all should've started running…"
"WHY YOU BITCH?!" Crumbelina would ask
"This…"
-The 4 would see a giant wall of flames form and jet towards them-
All 4 would shriek as they'd get engulfed immediately their skin and muscles burning away slowly in the flames
Swizzle would look over his shoulder upon hearing the shrieking and see the massive wall coming towards him rapidly
"OH MY GOD!" He'd shriek as the flames would engulf him aswell
-End flashback-
Taffyta would remain frozen in place a look of horror plastered on her face
Candlehead would hug her. "I'm so sorry for what you all went through…I can't even begin to imagine the pain you've all endured…"
Taffyta would snap out of her flashback and would hug Candlehead silently.
(Meanwhile)
Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella and Snowanna would awaken beside each other.
"Where are we?" Snowanna would ask looking around
"My Hell-Realm…where disloyal subjects are punished…aswell as those who have failed me for the last time…" Vanellope would cut in
"Your majesty…your wrath is completely warranted…we deserve punishment…but to send us here…after what you told us as you designed it…pardon my language your majesty…but isn't this excessive?" Jubileena would nervously ask
"I'm tired of being failed…maybe a few hours here we'll teach you all a lesson…now start running…the next flame wave will occur shortly…and you all know what that does…especially you Citrusella…you helped me make it…"
Jubileena, Citrusella and Snowanna would sprint away as Nougetsia would remain
"Why are you still here Nougetsia?" Vanellope would ask
Nougetsia would drop to her knees. "I failed your highness…I deserve to suffer any torment you send my way…"
"You do know what the flame wave will do to you…right?"
"Yes…and I'm prepared to suffer it…"
Vanellope would remain silent
"How long must we endure this Realm?" Nougetsia would ask
"3 hours…" Vanellope would respond
"May I ask one thing of you…your highness?"
"What?"
"Could I bring Marcy back after the 3 hours?"
"She is still being punished…"
"She'll be ready to join us your highness…she'll do anything for her son…anything for me…and I doubt she'll betray your trust again…"
"How can you be so sure?"
"2 things…once the 3 hours are up…I'll gladly walk into the flame wave with her by my side...and if she ever dares betray you again…I'll gladly return here…permanently…to pay for my lack of judgement…"
"Why are you offering this…for Marcy?"
"I love Marcy…I'm loyal to you…and this is my chance to prove both…-Nougetsia would bow her head-…all I ask is for the chance your majesty…"
"…Very well…you have 3 hours to find Marcy…and you know what you have to do…"
"Thank you Vanellope…you won't regret this…"
"Now prepare…the flame wave is on the way…"
Nougetsia would look up and see the wave form and jet towards her
Nougetsia would hold back her screams as she'd brace for it, the wave would engulf and rush over her covering her head to toe in raging flames
She'd let out a shriek and fall to the ground flailing her arms around before quickly being reduced to a pile of ashes
She'd quickly regen next to the pile
"Do you know where Marcy is your highness?" Nougetsia would ask
"I do but won't say…this will be part of your test…find her…"
Nougetsia would nod and quickly depart
(Back in the throne room)
Vanellope would watch as Nougetsia runs off
"I never expected this much devotion…I like that…"
She'd summon an Oreo Guard. "Go fetch Adorabeezle for me..."
The guard would nod and go down to the Fungeon
Adorabeezle would be sitting silently in the cold dark cell staring at the wall infront of her
The guard would open the door and she'd turn her head towards him
"The queen summons you…"
Adorabeezle would nod and leave the cell, she'd silently walk up the stairs and enter the throne room, she'd stop infront of the stairs leading to the throne and fall to her knees and bow her head.
"You summoned me…"
"Yes…I hope the task I had you do with Jubileena got my message across?"
"…It-it…-she'd calm herself-…it did…"
"Good…raise your head my friend…my rage…though it burnt hot…is gone…the punishments are being carried out…and I'm much calmer now than I was before…"
Adorabeezle would raise her head and notice the orb in Vanellope's left hand which would be illuminating the throne
"Observing the Hell-Realm you and Citrusella designed?"
"Indeed I am…Candlehead is burning in there right now…and Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella and Snowanna are in there for the next 3 hours…"
Adorabeezle would be shocked
"This way everyone will learn…" Vanellope would state
"Why didn't you send me there than?" Adorabeezle would ask
Vanellope would gesture for her to come up to the throne
"Your my greatest ally Adorabeezle…you've shown that time and time again…-she put her hands on Adorabeezle's shoulders-…you were the first to submit…you've served with absolute loyalty…and are my most devoted enforcer…I punished you severely yes…but that's because out of everyone…I expect most of you…when I give you an near impossible task…it's because I'm confidant that out of everyone in my service…you'll be the one that succeeds…"
Adorabeezle would nod
"Don't feel too bad…if everyone was as good as you…my plans would've succeeded within the first few hours…"
Adorabeezle would smile abit. "Thank you…your majesty…"
"Now sit down…we'll watch everyone burn together…do not worry…the flames are meant to hurt those that are there for failing…but not to incinerate them like the original 5 in there…except for Nougetsia…but that was a one off…"
"What did Nougetsia do?"
"To prove her devotion…she willing went down on her knees and waited for the first wave…and asked to be given the chance to add Marcy to our side…she now has 3 hours to succeed…"
"She was distraught with having to kill her…but still followed your orders regardless…my sister is just as loyal and devoted to you as I am…this shouldn't have come as much of a surprise your majesty…"
"It's not so much surprising…I expected this from her…but not to the point of willingly letting the wave strike her just to prove her devotion to me…and please…to everyone else minus Rancis it may be your "highness" and your "majesty"…but with you it's Vanellope…you've earned that much Adorabeezle…"
Adorabeezle would nod
"Well than without wasting anymore time...let's see how the rest are doing…" Vanellope would state as she'd hold the orb up and the Hell-Realm would reappear in it
(Back in the realm)
Jubileena would lead Citrusella and Snowanna through the flame destroyed town
"Where's that place you mentioned Cit?" Jubileena would look at her sister
"In the town square! We're almost there!" Citrusella would respond
Jubileena would glance over her shoulder and see the massive wall of flames rapidly approaching
"GET DOWN!" She'd grab Citrusella and dive behind a burnt out kart, reduced to a smouldering pile of scrap from constant flames
Jubileena would shield Citrusella
Snowanna would be right beside the kart as the wave would hit her lighting her on fire
"Snowanna!" the sisters would shout as Snowanna would scream and fall to the ground
The wave would pass over and the sisters would watch Snowanan roll over several times the flames eventually going out, leaving Snowanna badly burned but alive
Jubileena would look at Citrusella. "Everything Vanellope said…especially the "they never become physically hindered by the flames"…that was all true?"
Citrusella would nod. "It was her favorite twist about this world…"
Jubileena would turn towards Snowanna who'd be lying on the ground in pain from the burns
"I know it hurts Snowanna…but you can keep moving…don't expect us to carry you…" Jubileena would stand up and help Citrusella to her feet.
"We're not all in this together?" Snowanna would ask as she'd sit up despite the unspeakable pain
"We're loyal to Vanellope…not to you…" Jubileena would state
"Have my years of service meant nothing?"
"There's a stark difference between us…"
"And what difference is that?"
"Adorabeezle, Nougetsia, Citrusella and I all joined Vanellope willingly…we got nothing in return…we submitted to her rule and served her loyally up until now...you on the other hand…needed an incentive to join our ranks..."
"You say that without the context!"
"Think what you want...you still have a lot of proving to do…not just to Vanellope…but to the rest of us aswell…"
Snowanna would remain silent
"Now get the fuck up…" Jubileena would start walking away with Citrusella
Snowanna would get to her feet, yet with each step the pain would get worse, she'd stumble a few times but would continue pushing on
They'd reach the town square and Jubileena would turn to Citrusella
"So what little thing did you leave here?"
Citrusella would walk around the fountain in the middle of the square and pull on a lever
"Oh this…"
The ground besides the fountain would turn into a staircase heading downwards. "Follow me…"
"So what is this?" Snowanna would ask as they'd descend
"Oh I helped the queen build and design this world…so I know where are the buttons are…and built a spot where the flames wouldn't reach…the queen is aware of this spot…though I built it as a precaution…incase any of us had to do something in this world…this area would act as a safe zone where we could get food, drinks and equipment depending on the task…I see no reason why we can't use it...besides this also serves as a surveillance point…hidden cameras all around this world…the time we spend here also gives me a chance to ensure the world is working to perfection…"
Citrusella would reach a door and open it, she'd walk into a large AC cooled room, there'd be a fridge, a small kitchen, a large living room, with 2 adjacent rooms, one being the surveillance room and the other seemingly being an equipment storage, Citrusella would turn towards Jubileena and Snowanna
"Get comfortable…I'm going to go see this world is working as designed…"
Jubileena and Snowanan would sit down as Citrusella would go into the surveillance room and look over several monitors
"I'll have quite abit to review…though I got the time now…" She'd state to no one in particular
Snowanna would look over her burns
"Anything to say?" Jubileena would ask
"No…I'll be fine…" Snowanna would reply
Vanellope's chuckle would spook the 3 girls
"Citrusella…you really think I'd let the 3 of you hide out your punishments in here?"
"Y-y-yo-your majesty…I'm ensuring the world has been working as intended…and reviewing to see if somethings need to be changed!" Citrusella would state nervously
"Yet you still brought the others…I don't approve of that…and we designed this world together sure…but you really think I let you know every last detail?"
Before any could answer several large flame throwers would line the walls as Vanellope would laugh softly
"Jubileena and Snowanna…the 2 of you get 5 seconds to run…Citrusella…remain here…"
Jubileena and Snowanna would jump up from their seats and rush back up the stairs as Citrusella would remain frozen in her chair
Vanellope would chuckle. "Citrusella…leave the room…and face your punishment…than…go back to what you intended on doing…"
Citrusella would hesitate for a moment before getting up from the chair and leaving the room. "P-please your majesty…have mercy…"
"I'm being merciful…I could've killed you for daring to escape punishment…and helping the others escape it aswell…now…be a loyal subject…and get down on your knees…"
Citrusella would drop to her knees terrified as she'd gaze at the row of flamethrowers
"Your punishment will be carried out…in…3…2…1"
Flames would jet out of the flamethrowers engulfing Citrusella, who'd shriek
Eventually the torrent of flames would cease revealing nothing but a pile of ash and bone where Citrusella once was, she'd quickly regenerate next to it breathing heavily
"Now back to work Citrusella…your actions have been noted…"
"R-right away your majesty!" Citrusella would quickly stand and return to the surveillance room and become combing through and reviewing footage
(Meanwhile)
Jubileena and Citrusella would reach the top of the stair case
"Where too next?" Snowanna would ask
"Lemonade lake is our best chance…Vanellope did say the only areas that wouldn't get affected by flames would be the rivers, lakes and seas…and Lemonade lake is the closest…"
Snowanna would look back towards the castle and see it flash brightly. "Fuck…flame wave coming soon…"
"Start running than…" Jubileena would state as she'd begin running
(Further away)
Nougetsia would approach and small burnt Cabin in Candycane forest not to far from her now burnt-out home
"After getting burned the first time…you definitely went home…your skeleton there proved that…you would've grabbed whatever supplies and equipment you could've carried…no way you didn't pass by here…"
She'd be speaking to no one in particular as she'd walk into the small cabin and look around
"You would've thought the small basement might have helped…than quickly realize the fires the flames produced turn the basement into a death trap…or maybe even hoped that the fire resistant materials you built this place with would be useful…"
She'd come across a pile of ashes with Marcy's burnt beanie laying beside it.
"You definitely thought so…that mistake clearly would've cost you most of your equipment you might have had with you...which meant unlike what Phipps most certainly would've tried doing…you couldn't built yourself a very good shelter…but…where did you go from here?"
She'd walk out the back of the cabin and notice another pile of ash next to a shallow hole
"Unless…you played smart and hide away your tools in case the cabin didn't work…hmm…but with nothing but the forest…and the unpredictable time between each waves…you couldn't have gotten far..."
She'd start walking in a straight line from the back of the cabin. "Knowing you Marcy…you're definitely someone that would just take a straight line to the nearest spot you'd think could help you…"
She'd walk for a while coming across other piles of ash, burned skeletons, each having a burnt beanie signifying them to be Marcy's remains. "You going straight towards it…aren't you?" She'd ask aloud
She'd suddenly start feeling hot and would turn around to see the flame wall rapidly approaching
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" She'd quickly check her surroundings before diving into a burnt out log
The flames would by, though the log could crumble and cover her in burning embers
She'd spring to her feet screaming. "FUCK! OW!"
She'd quickly regain her composure when she'd hear Marcy scream in the distance
"So, you did go there…the river we had our second date at…your little paradise…" She'd chuckle at the memories
(Meanwhile)
Candlehead and Taffyta would watch the wave of flames surge passed
Candlehead would stand up. "Common…you said we'd go…"
Taffyta would sigh. "Grab some tools…preferably a shovel and an axe…I grab the rest…"
Candlehead would quickly grab the tools mentioned and would wait by the exit. "Common hurry you even said the waves pass by at random points every 5-30 minutes!"
Taffyta would walk by her and lead her out. "Yea I did…now while you follow me…we can clearly see the castle from here…you warn me whenever you see the castle flashing…it'll mean we'll get just enough time to bury our tools before we get hit by the wall…"
"So we're going to be dying a lot?"
"Not if we find cover…normally logs work though they have a chance of collapsing on you…large enough rocks that you can hide behind often do the trick…but something about how Vanellope made the world ensures you can never just hide behind the same rock…"
"What did she do?"
Taffyta would shutter. "Every wave there's a chance that the rock you hide behind does one of two things…one, explode…two get sent rolling towards you so it crushes you…or sent flying in the air…not only leaving you to get roasted by the wave…but if you survived the wave the rock fucking crushes you upon landing…"
"Oh fuck…"
"Yea…welcome to hell Candlehead…now keep watch…I'll lead…"
"Where are we going?"
"I saw Crumbelina 15 hours ago…she was running towards Taffy swamp…best bet is she's using the lemonade rivers around the swamp itself as protection from the waves…"
"How far is that from here?"
"On foot? With waves constantly hitting us? It'll be a while Candlehead…"
"Oh…than why are you risking everything to help me when you had your own spot?"
"I've died countless times…and I know you wouldn't stop trying till you found her…atleast with me here…you might not die as many times had you tried it alone…"

Nougetsia would be close to destination
She'd climb up a hill overlooking a massive river of lemonade, she'd scan the sides of the river
And she'd fine who she was looking for, she'd see Marcy LIMPING out of a partially collapsed tunnel right next to the river
"There you are…" Nougetsia would tell herself
Marcy would look over her left arm, the skin having been burned away, her left ankle and knee clearly sprained
"Stupid fucking tunnels…looked like the perfect spot…and the idiot that made them USED FUCKING JAWBREAKERS?! THAT ONLY CHOOSE TO BLOW UP CAUSE OF THE HEAT WHILE I'M IN THERE?! WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!"
She'd punch the wall with her good hand and immediately clench it in pain. "OW!"
Nougetsia would slowly approach as Marcy would be clearly distraught
"I can't take it anymore! Every spot I find either fucking melts…explodes or just doesn't fucking work! I literally have NOTHING! And everywhere I go there's FUCKING FIRE!"
She'd look up at the sky. "Vanellope! Please! I've taken enough! Take me out of this place! Please! I BEG YOU!"
She'd start crying. "PLEASE I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!"
Nougetsia would be within 15 feet of Marcy when she'd finally make her presence known
"Marcy…I'm here to take you home…" She'd state calmly
Marcy would turn towards her. "G-g-get the fuck away from me!" She'd stumble and fall on her back. "STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" She'd back away terrified
Nougetsia would take a deep breath. "Marcy…please…I came to free you from this place…"
"Save it! You fucking murdered me!"
"I took no joy in doing that to you…it'd kill me to hurt you in such a way…but Vanellope gave me clear orders…she needed you here…she needed you to learn…"
"Learn what?! THAT JAWBREAKERS EXPLODE WHEN EXOSED TO HIGH TEMPERATURES?! THAT CANDY FUCKING MELTS IN HIGH HEAT?! I ALREADY FUCKING KNEW THAT!"
"Please calm down…"
"NO! I SPENT 11 YEARS OF MY LIVE THINKING THAT THE CORRUPTION IN YOU AND VANELLOPE HAD BEEN DESTROYED! TURNS OUT I HAD BEEN LIED TO THE WHOLE TIME!"
"Marcy…"
"YOU LIED! TO ME! TO CARL! THEN YOU MURDERED ME!"
"It was either I did it or Vanellope did…I wanted to atleast make sure it was quick…"
"YOU! STILL! MURDERED! ME!"
"I'm not denying that…"
"THEN STOP JUSTIFING IT!"
"Marcy…all your anger is warranted…and I know you have much to say…I'm letting you say it…but I do intend on taking you home…"
"What's the catch?! THERE'S ALWAYS A CATCH!"
Nougetsia would remain calm. "You need to have learned your lesson on what happens when you turn against the queen…and agree to be a loyal subject…"
"FUCK THAT!"
"You say that Marcy…yet you were just begging to the Queen for forgiveness…"
Marcy would fall silent.
Nougetsia would take a few steps forward. "Marcy I know we both joked about you not having a limit people could push you too…but we both know you're passed it…we both know the fiery defiance you showed was just the temporary energy the rage of seeing me gave you…and that is all…"
Marcy would back up a bit and look away
Nougetsia would move closer. "I know I hurt you in ways you may not find forgivable…and I don't blame you…I did hide so much from you…I didn't do any of it happily…I wanted to let you know…but you would have attempted to interfere and may very well have spoiled everything…you weren't suppose to stay here long…not even an hour at most…but do to circumstances out of my control…you've been I here for days…"
Marcy would keep her gaze elsewhere as Nougetsia would get in arms reach of her
"I know you all to well Marcy…this world was literally designed to make you break…I know the tough as nails, stone cold, literal cement wall girl I fell in love with…and right now…I see that she's hurt…she's done…she fought the fight she felt was right…she's endured days of literal hell…"
Marcy would tear up
"I can clearly see a women who wants to see her sister…a mother wanting desperately to hold her child in her arms again…a wife…who…-she'd put one hand on Marcy's chin and turn her head so they'd look each other in the eye-…who despite everything…still feels love towards the women she loves…Marcy…I ventured through this literal hell world…even died in it…I've only been here a fraction of your time…the fact you made it this long is nothing short of astounding…but the adventure is over…I want…no…I am…bringing you home…to our son…"
Marcy would look at her. "We both know you can't…I can't change the way you and Vanellope want me to change…I can't willingly aid Vanellope…"
"Not even for our son?"
"I'd stand against her again FOR our son…"
Nougetsia would kneel down infront of still forcing Marcy to make eye contact
"This isn't even a fight Marcy…the battle was fought…Vanellope won…"
"So is this what Vanellope winning is? Nothing but us burning for eternity?"
"No…this world is meant to punish…and you've been punished enough…now…I'm here to bring you home…we can start anew…in Vanellope's new world…"
"What makes you think I still love you?"
"I know you too well Marcy…"
"You clearly never knew me at all…"
"Marcy…"
"Nougetsia you made you decision…11 years ago I made mine…this time around you decided for me…I'm going to let things run it's course…"
"Very well than…" Nougetsia would let go of Marcy's chin and stand up.
Marcy would look up at her
"I came to bring you home…but if you wish to stay here…-tears would form in her eyes-…so be it…never forget I love you…and always will…but if you wish to keep burning…this world will see to that…"
Nougetsia would see a new flame wave spawn in the distance and jet outwards and sigh
"I'm sorry…and if this is the last time we ever see each other…I love you…and will always cherish the memories we shared…" Nougetsia would walk towards the burnt out forest next to the river where there'd be a few large rocks
Marcy would try to get up but fall back down from the pain
She'd sit holding her left leg in pain and would see the wave rushing towards her in the distance
"No…No….NO! NOT AGAIN…"
She'd turn and see Nougetsia already taking cover behind a rock
"Nougetsia! Please! Help me!" She'd frantically call out
No response would come from Nougetsia
Marcy would crawl towards the rock. "PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO BURN! AGAIN! PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! HELP ME!"
She'd see the flames get within 30 feet of her and shriek
Nougetsia would spring out from behind the rock quickly pick her up and carry her bridal style, she'd sit behind the rock and would shield Marcy's face as the flames surge past them
The wave would pass by.
Nougetsia would remove her hands from Marcy's face. "I know you can still walk and run with how this world has been designed…but also know you're not going anywhere with how that must feel like…"
Marcy would look away
"Please Marcy…for once…don't be you…"
"I…I…don't know about this Nougetsia…"
"If you apologize and swear fealty to Vanellope…I can honestly tell you she will be merciful…it's all she wants from you…"
"Then why send me here?"
"Only way you would learn…only thing she could think of to push to your supposedly non-existent limit…only thing that would open your eyes…"
Marcy would look her in the eyes. "I'm not like you…I never will be…"
"And I don't want you to be…I'm one of the enforcers…you…your nothing but a racer and a citizen…all Vanellope needs of you is your loyalty…"
Marcy would hesitate
"If you won't do it for me…do it for our son…"
"How is Vanellope going to change me?"
"There will be no changes…if she thinks you'll stay loyal…you'll stay with me…if she senses deceit…she'll send you back here…"
Marcy would tremble
"What'll it be my darling?" Nougetsia would ask

Nougetsia would nod. "Thank you…we'll go when the queen decides I've spent enough time here for previous failures…"
"Wait no longer…I feel you both have learned your respective lessons…" Vanellope's voice would echo around them
The ground around the pair would begin to glow
"W-w-what about the others? What about Phipps?" Marcy would ask
"His time to leave this place will come…most likely very soon…however my sole goal was to bring you home…"
They'd get blinded by the light and would appear in the throne room
The 2 would look up towards the throne and would see Vanellope sitting on her throne with Adorabeezle sitting on the arm of it
"Hello you 2…-Vanellope would look at Marcy-…I hope lessons were learnt…"
Marcy would nervously nod
Vanellope would glance at Adorabeezle and Nougetsia. "Leave us…I wish to speak alone with her
Adorabeezle would nod and walk down the steps and stop next to Nougetsia. "Come along sister...let's go get you a change of clothes…ones that aren't burn to hell and back…"
Nougetsia would hesitate for a moment for letting Marcy down and quickly leave the room
Marcy would look up towards Vanellope nervously as the orb would stop glowing shrouding the room in darkness
Marcy would hear Vanellope walk down the few steps from her throne
"Nougetsia is convinced you learned your lesson…is that true?" She walk around slowly around Marcy
"Y-y-ye-yea…yea I did…" Marcy would respond
"I heard your conversation with Nougetsia…I'm…not convinced…"
"PLEASE DON'T SEND ME BACK THERE! PLEASE! I BEG YOU!"
Vanellope would rub her shoulders. "Nougetsia went looking for you out of love and dedication to you…I really don't want you betraying her trust…"
"I WON'T!"
"You said she didn't know you…and that she never did…mine explaining that?"
"I was angry! I was high on emotion! I said things I shouldn't have said…I was blinded!"
"I believe you…"
"You-you do?"
"Of course…you saw the face of your killer for the first time since the moment you died…and after spending days in the Hell-Realm…your reaction is understandable…though now…much is expected of you…"
"Nougetsia said that wasn't the case! She said I didn't have to be like her!"
"I changed my mind…you have to earn your continued freedom…"
"B-but Vanellope…"
Vanellope would give her hair a small tug. "Do not call me that…it's your highness or your majesty…to you from now on…"
Marcy would nod nervously
"Listen…I don't expect you to love Nougetsia…but just know this…she said if you ever betray me…she'd gladly go to the Hell-Realm voluntarily…and permanently…now before you think of anything…I have ways of making that a double edge sword…"
"DON'T YOU DARE SEND MY SON THERE! HE'S JUST A CHILD!"
"I'm honestly offended…I would not do such a thing to a child Marcy…"
"I'M SORRY! MY MIND INTERPRETED WHAT YOU SAID THE WRONG WAY!"
"Your forgiven this time…but I expect loyalty from you…and good work…"
"Yo-your majesty…I'm…I'm nothing like your enforcers…"
"You can be…with proper training…you have all the skills to be one of my best servants…may even give Adorabeezle a run from her money…"

"No…actually…consider this your first test…" Vanellope would hold a cube infront of Marcy that would begin to glow. "Hold this cube…it will alter your code…not massively…but will ensure your rebellious nature doesn't come to haunt anyone…"

"No buts Marcy…Nougetsia went to hell to bring you back…are you really going to make me tell her it was all in vain…"
"Your majesty…please…anything but this…"
A doorway would spawn infront of them and Marcy would see the Hell-Realm on the other side
"Make your choice Marcy Mars…" Vanellope would ask in a cold, stern tone
Marcy would hesitate for a moment. "Can you do something for me…"
"Depends…what do you need?"
"…Tell Annie…I went down fighting…I endured the Hell-Realm till it was no longer possible…" Marcy would take the cube and hold it
Vanellope would smile and rub Marcy's shoulders. "I'll tell her…I'll make a grand story of it…"
Marcy would suddenly get very tense as she'd start to glow
Vanellope would back away as Marcy would let out a painful scream and collapse to the floor
Vanellope would light a few torches to illuminate the room and stand beside Marcy
A few moments later Marcy would sit up, fully healed, and would look up towards Vanellope
Vanellope would smile. "Your second test…kneel and pledge yourself to me…"
Marcy would kneel before Vanellope. "Queen Vanellope…you've given me a second chance at life…and I intend to use it well…from this day forth I'll serve you loyally and protect you with my life…my life…is yours…"
Vanellope would smile. "Good…let us go see Nougetsia…"
Vanellope would help Marcy to her feet and would lead her out of the room
(Meanwhile)
Adorabeezle would be putting some patches over Nougetsia's any burns covering her back
"What happened?"
"Hid in a log…forgot those fucking things were liable to fall apart on you…but it was worth it…I found Marcy in the end…"
"Are you sure she will join our ranks?"
Nougetsia would hesitate
"Nougetsia…"
"She should be…I fail to see why she wouldn't…"
"I heard your conversation with her…she only seemed opened to it when the wave was close to hitting her…"
"Sister I am certain talking with Vanellope will help ensure she joins our ranks…Marcy will be a great benefit…someone of her talent and skills can't be wasted in the Hell-Realm…not when she could be of so much use to the Queen…"
Adorabeezle would hand her a fresh clean shirt. "I just hope your right…"
"I know I am…I know my wife…" Nougetsia would put the shirt on and put on a fresh clean jacket
Vanellope would enter the room followed by Marcy
The sisters would bow. "Your majesty…" They'd say in unison
"Hello you 2…felt you 2 should see our newest member…"
The 2 would look towards Marcy who'd kneel before Adorabeezle. "I made my pledges to Vanellope…but know I have much to prove to everyone…seeing how you join Vanellope willingly…and I started off as a traitor…the Hell-Realm taught me many lessons…and to serving Vanellope to the end…also means serving under your command…as you are first among her servants…and the golden standard I'll always to live up too…"
Adorabeezle would look at Vanellope, then smile and put a hand on Marcy's shoulder. "The fact that you recognized your mistakes…and are intent on correcting them…means your already on the way there…but you'll have much to do in service of the queen…"
"I understand…as far as the Queen and you are concerned…your wishes are my commands…"
"Good…" Adorabeezle would pat her shoulder. "You may rise…you are among friends here…"
Marcy would stand as Nougetsia would hug her. "I knew you wouldn't let me down…"
"I'd never dare think of it…" Marcy would hug her back.
Vanellope would pull the orb back out
"Their time is almost up…let's see how the others are doing…" She'd rub the orb as the Hell-Realm would once again appear in it
(Meanwhile)
Jubileena and Snowanna would reach Lemonade-lake just as a flame wave would be reaching them
"Quick dive in there!" Jubileena would dive into the lake shortly followed by Snowanna
The flames would surge around the lake
The 2 girls would remain below the surface as the lemonade would quickly rise in temperature
The wave would subside and both girls would jump out.
"FUCK! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BOIL ALIVE IN THERE!" Snowanna would shout
Juileena would look around. "Hmm…seems others had the same idea…"
"What makes you say that?" Snowanna would ask
"Look at all the piles of ash and charred skeletons…nearly all of them seem to belong to Crumbelina judging by the clothing that remains…along with her many hats spread out around here…must have tried to endure the lemonade…but it constantly it heating up probably forced her out…especially if the waves happened so close together that the Lemonade didn't have a chance to cool…"
"Where do you think she ran off too?"
"Probably following one of the 3 rivers that feeds into this lake…maybe hoping the running rivers would provide more protection…since even if the running Lemonade doesn't suffice atleast the rocks and boulders would give sufficient cover…and with so many lining the rivers and being in the river itself…she may be trying to play with the percentages of the rocks either exploding or flying off…"
"Ok…wonder how the others are doing…I've only kept tabs on Phipps…"
"Taffyta burned over 20 times trying to build herself a dug out in the mountain…Marcy attempted to do the same but hers collapsed…after that she tried finding safe spots…but every spot she found inevitably blew up…melted…or collapsed on her…those are the only 2 I'm are of due to Citrusella always updating me…"
"Ok…"
"How is Phipps doing by the way?"
"Despite the first burning destroying much…he's still found ways around it…"
"How?"
"Oh I'll show you when the Queen frees us from this hell…"
Vanellope's voice would suddenly intervene
"Congrats your time is now up…it's time you see our newest member…"
Jubileena, Snowanna and Citrusella would suddenly be teleported before Vanellope and would see Marcy standing next to Adorabeezle and Nougetsia
Snowanna would cross her arms. "I see Marcy is back…"
"Shut it Snowanna…" Adorabeezle would order
Snowanna would grow silent
Adorabeezle would look at Marcy and would gesture towards Jubileena
Marcy would walk up to Jubileena and kneel before her. "As I've told the Queen and Adorabeezle…my life is yours to command…I know I may never reach the level of trust you have in each other…but my life will be dedicated to you all…come hell or high water…I'll serve to the bitter end…"
Jubileena would smile and pat her shoulder. "Your off to a great start…on your feet…"
Marcy would stand up
Vanellope would clear her throat. "Everyone to my throne room…we have to go over a few things…mostly regarding the fugitives and where they may be hiding out…"
"Lead the way Vanellope…" Adorabeezle would state
Vanellope would leave the room and the rest would follow her

Candlehead would notice the castle flashing
"Taffyta the castle is flashing!"
Taffyta would glance at it. "Ok start digging we need to ensure the tools survive the wave
The flame wave would spawn immediately and would fly out faster than usual
"WAIT WHAT THE FUCK?!" Taffyta would scream
"OH GOD WE'RE FUCKED!" Candlehead would scream
"GIRLS! DOWN HERE!"
The 2 would look down a hill and see Phipps in a hole in the ground. "You don't got much time get over here!"
The 2 would rush down to him and jump into the hole
Candlehead would jump in as the wave would blast her hat off
Taffyta and Candlehead would catch their breath as AC cooled air would flow through the tunnel
"You 2 alright?" Phipps would ask
"Yea…WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE AC HERE?!" Taffyta would ask angrily
"3 days where all I could do was dig and build since the wave made rest impossible…and due to the coding of this world we can't get fatigued…I just kept working…"
"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU BUILD ANYTHING?!" Taffyta would scream at him
"The first wave didn't destroy everything…between the second and fourth waves in exchange of dying in all 3…I managed to save or atleast salvage a lot of equipment…Swizzle helped massively…but to answer your question…we started in his basement…since his place has 2 levels that are below ground…it gave us time…we sealed the lowest level of his basement off with concrete…and proceeded to dig outwards…making more space for others…Swizzle is still working on that…while I got to work on building machinery to be powered by the flame waves themselves…"
"Wow…you've been busy…" Candlehead would state
"I mean it was adapt and build…or burn and wither away…and I preferred to not burn continuously for days on end…"
"IT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE TO KNOW ABOUT THAT EARLIER ASSHOLE!" Taffyta would shout at him
"I'm sorry…but after the first burning…me and Swizzle became concentrated on saving and salvaging everything we could…by the fifth wave there was nothing left to save…we worked on ensuring our safe haven would remain standing…and ensure that if others had the misfortune of being sent here…there'd be a place they could go to…to find a respite from the flames…"
Taffyta would punch the wall
"I understand your anger Taffyta…but come…there's some food left…I'm sure you haven't eaten in days…"
"Not one fucking bite since we got here…"
"Come than…I'll lead you guys to our spot…"
"What about Crumbelina?" Candlehead would ask
"Oh she's with Swizzle…we saved her 30 minutes ago…apparently her gamble at Taffy Swamp…went really…REALLY badly…"
"How bad?"
"Swizzle found her stuck in molten Taffy…doomed to suffer slow agonizing death…just to respawn in the exact same spot…"
"Fuck…"
"She should be in the main hub…which is where we're heading now…"
Candlehead would take off running
"Candlehead wait!" Phipps would chase off after her
Candlehead would keep running ahead
"HEAD RIGHT!" Phipps would shout
Candlehead would reach a fork in the tunnel and head to the right.
She'd climb up a couple of dozens steps and would run into a large room where there'd be several chairs and couches lined up
She'd see Swizzle talking to Crumbelina
"CRUMBS!" Candlehead would shout
"CANDLES!" Crumbelina would shout back
Candlehead would run over and hug Crumbelina tightly
"I'm so sorry…I'm so sorry…I couldn't stop Vanellope's control over me! I'm so sorry!" Candlehead would sob holding onto Crumbelina tightly
Crumbelina would pat Candlehead on the back several times. "It's alright…I knew from the get go Vanellope had something to do it…the moment I spawned here I knew…"
"I'm still so sorry…" Candlehead would sob more
"It's fine…but why are you here? You really shouldn't be here…"
"It's a long story…"
Phipps would walk in followed by Taffyta
"Where's the damn food?!" Taffyta would shout at Phipps
"On the table…" Phipps would point to a table and Taffyta would rush over and devour everything in sight
Candlehead would stop sobbing but would keep her arms tight around Crumbelina. "Phipps…where did you get all this machinery? No way you built all of it by yourself with just what you and Swizzle could save and salvage…"
"Well I did help him build quite a lot...but while he was salvaging in town…I went to check out Lodhi's Chalet…was hoping Vanellope just copy pasted everything in his home into this world…and got fucking lucky cause she did…so many of his toys were safe in his lab…took me hours worth of trips to get everything from his place to here before getting to the chalet became impossible…" Swizzle would state
"But I saw the mountain earlier…it's nothing by a see of flames around the chalet…" Candlehead would look at Swizzle confused
"It wasn't always like that…at first it was the usual snow...that quickly melted away leaving nothing but stones…than the stones morphed into coal…for the most part I used a hybrid freeze/water ray gun Lodhi invented that ended up also being copy pasted into his lab…but eventually the flames burnt so hot it was useless…" Swizzle would respond
"But why would Vanellope give us so many tools if the whole point is for us to burn constantly?" Candlehead would ask
"The flame wave is just a bonus…she wanted to see us suffer and endure in a world literally designed to be hopeless…"
"Elaborate?"
"The constant fires…the flame wave itself…everything is supposed to be destroyed…each wave destroying something we could have potentially used later…she wants to see how we adapt…how we endure this…and she wants to see just how far she has to push to break us…"
"So what do we do?" Candlehead would ask
"There's nothing we can do…we're trapped here with no way back…no way home…we got to hope and pray someone frees us before this world claims all our sanities…" Phipps would respond
Candlehead would hold Crumbelina tight. "I'll endure aslong as I have you…"
Crumbelina would kiss her forehead. "In it to the end?"
"To the bitter end…"
