Chapter 345: Lori's last family bonding moments...

(September 02. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The morning is here, and Lori wakes up and she stretches and she sees the calendar. She sighs and then she checks on her cellphone. 'Looks like tomorrow I head off for Fairway University, and that means it might not be the same here, but Leni will be alone in this room. But, I know she can handle things.'

'Though, I am literally going to miss being around here, and also Lincoln and Luna. I think it seems like the right thing for me to spend time with the others one last time and even with...' She sighs and feels annoyed. 'Those two...' Then the door opens, and she sees it is Leni.

"Good Morning Lori." Leni goes over and she hugs her big sister, Lori smirks and she hugs her back.

"Good Morning Leni" replied Lori, they then depart from the hug. "So, how have things been going this morning with me asleep lately?"

Leni nods and she explains. "Alright, so everyone is awake and already prepared for the day, and they're downstairs and having breakfast. Nothing bad happened, and no fights too." Then she has some concerns. "I'm gonna miss having you around here, Lori."

Lori smiles, and she hugs her little sister. "Leni, whatever happens, everything will literally be okay. We have been the best of friends and the best of sisters to each other, even though we have had a lot of ups and downs. But, whatever happens nothing will change between us. Besides, it won't be goodbye forever..."

Leni smiles. "It'll only be goodbye for now." They continue this hugging moment, and Luna sees this and closes the door, it seems best to let them be and they'll come down when they feel like it.

(Later.)

Lori and Leni both head downstairs, and there they see the others are enjoying their breakfast, and they all see Lori all dressed for the day and they go over and hug her. "Good Morning, Lori." Lori smiles, and she hugs them back. She feels loved when this happens, they then depart from the hug and they all sit down and enjoy their breakfast.

Then Lynn Loud Sr comes in, and he hands Lori her plate of pancakes, and they are made into her face with eggs and bacon. "I made this one... S-Special for you..." He then starts to sob, and this makes them back away slowly.

Lori sighs. "Dad, calm down. I won't be off to college until tomorrow, and today I literally wanna spend some time with the rest of you guys one last time before I head off. What do you say fam?" They all liked this idea and cheered.

"Yeah!"

They then continue to eat their food, and deep down Lynnard and Rita are happy to see and hear this, they also realized that they need to repay back or thank Michelle Lewis, because technically she helped Lori get into college. They really now see that Michelle Lewis has done an amazing job being the parent here, something they couldn't be able to do.

But they do have some other stuff to deal with.

Rita. 'I should thank Michelle, since she did reason with Dr. Finestein for me to come back to work, and yet I feel like I don't deserve it, and she is right about my book. The manuscript wouldn't be accepted due to the size.'

Lynnard. 'Perhaps I should begin looking for a job soon, they don't need me at my old job since someone has taken my place. I need to find a restaurant that would accept me, and perhaps I can earn some cash to open my own.'

(Lori's last moment to bond montage.)

Lori first spend time with Luan, and helped her with her birthday gig and even some of the pranks and gags. Despite the fact some are annoying, she doesn't mind.

Then Lori spends some time with Lynn, and help her move some of her old sports gear to someplace else, and also play some catch with her at the Park.

Lori then escorts Lucy to her Morticians Club, and bringing her to a Gothic store, and helping with some of her poems and rhymes.

Lori then spends some time with the twins. Having some tea party play time with Lola and tending to the pets with Lana, and even El Diablo shedding his skin.

Lori does spend time with Lisa, but Lisa seems keener into helping her with college education since there will be some stuff hard for her to understand, and Lori is grateful for this.

Lori does enjoy spending time with her baby sister, Lily.

Even Lincoln and Luna came by to spend time with her. Lori would play some video games with Lincoln at the arcade, and Luna would teach Lori some basics on the acoustic guitar, and then came Michelle Lewis. Both Lori and Michelle head to the mall, and do some shopping on things she might need.

Then, Lori spends time with her parents, even though she feels like not doing this but she decides to let this happen. She helps Rita sort out some of her manuscript for her book, and Lori seems somewhat offended by almost all of it, and then she helps Lynnard with the cooking, but doesn't interact when he does his kitchen jokes. They don't seem quite funny.

Lynnard and Rita know, deep inside Lori, she hates them a lot for everything she heard from their previous visits, and they don't blame her. They both know, forgiveness is a long, long way to earn.

(End montage.)

We now see Lori and Leni, back in their room and they had finished eating dinner too. Then Lori helps sort out her clothes, and passes down some of them for Leni to wear. "Are you sure about this, Lori?"

Lori nods. "I'm pretty sure that I have literally outgrown a lot of these other clothes which I don't usually wear, and you can make something out of them." Lori then looks to Leni who seems concerned. "Leni, calm down. Look, things will be different around here with me not around, but you can handle this. You have grown into a better person, and changed into someone responsible."

They both sit on the bed. "Whatever happens, don't be afraid to do your best, and take note that Lincoln and Luna might come around to visit and help with some issues. You are the literally eldest now and I trust you to handle things and make sure that nothing else bad happens."

Leni seems nervous, but then she smiles. "I promise, that I will do my best and be the older sister in the house." They then share a small hug, and they both have tears of joy. Both of them going to miss each other, being roommates.

They then depart from the hug and Lori has her laptop. "Hey, wanna watch something on the laptop together?" Leni smiles hearing this, one last night of two best sisters enjoying some bonding together, before tomorrow comes.

A/N: Lori is headed to college tomorrow, and that means so much more changes are coming which they all need to try and adapt and see through. The next chapter is bound to be very emotional. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
