Hi everyone let's get on with chapter 25

And (sigh) Phantom Planet

Ok first off to be completely 100% clear I don't hate the finale of Danny Phantom

I hate that Phantom Planet IS the finale of Danny Phantom when the crew and cast behind the show and the fans of the show wanted more of it

After rewatching it today I can't say it's bad especially compared to a lot of TV finales which either end on a cliffhanger a flashback episode or are just bad

Every member of Danny's team gets a happy ending Vlad suffers and while Danny does act selfish for a little bit it's not for long

Does that mean there aren't problems of course there are but I think the last time I talked about Phantom Planet back in the authors note of Danny and Kitty I made the problems sound worse then they actually were

In my opinion it would have been better if it were split into to two episodes one with the 'Danny Phantom no more' storyline one with the Disasteroid

And if I had been behind the show if it had to end an episode with a final between Danny and Vlad this is where I would put the Danny getting his identity exposed

Seriously Nick get with the program bring back Danny Phantom

You brought back Rugrats and iCarly but not the best superhero show you've ever made

After Many Dates Danny and Angelica

Maddie Fenton couldn't sleep

And not because of her husbands snoring

Ever since she saw the news report about that vile Danny Phantom and his girlfriend appearing in the Nasty Burger and having a meal something has been bothering the scientist

There was something familiar about Phantoms girlfriend Angela something about her that Maddie had seen before

But what

Maddie got out of bed

This was something she had to look into

After all she was a scientist when there was something mysterious they didn't ignore it no they investigated it

Things were going great Danny thought having dropped Angelica off before her curfew

According to Tucker 'Phangela' was trending more then Vlad's new ghost hunters all thanks to some make up a change of clothes and an old wig Sam had used as part of her halloween costume back in eighth grade

Now Danny was on patrol Sam and Tucker were in the park chasing after a little ghost lizard

Valerie was doing her own thing in Elmerton which left Danny to patrol around downtown

So far there was nothing going on

Danny might even have a quiet Danny might even get to go to sleep at a decent time tonight

Danny was flying by Axion Labs when he saw a weird purple glow in one of the windows

Deciding to investigate it Danny phased through the window where the purple glow had come from seeing some kind of creep in a black and purple outfit grabbing some kind of machine

Not being a techno geek like Tucker Danny had no idea what it was but he wasn't going to let this guy steal- whatever it was

Firing a blast Danny blasted the device out of the guys hands "hey creep anyone tell you not to steal what wasn't yours"

But that's not what Danny was focusing on it was his wrinkled dry face that looked like he'd spent some time in a microwave

'Ok something Jazz was right about' Danny thought in horrified disgust 'moisturizing'

"Danny Phantom" ash face said

"Do I know you" Danny asked

"In a matter of speaking we've faced each other before in several worlds in several timelines" he said before firing a purple blast at Danny

Danny manipulated his body so that he blast went through a hole in his body behind him the blast hit a desk like in a sped up video the desk became rusted and old in seconds before turning to dust

'Ok don't let that hit me' Danny thought terrified before he flew at the guy who he still didn't know the name of throwing a punch at his chest

The man grabbed his hand throwing him into the floor Danny slammed into it with a loud crash "do you think you can beat me Eon the master of time" the thief Eon said

"Dude I've met the master of time" Danny said throwing his legs up kicking Eon into the stomach sending him crashing into the ceiling before he could fall Danny froze him to the wall "you're definitely not him"

Danny held out his arm catching the stolen cylinder thing "so while you're waiting for the police oh master of time why not tell me what this thing does" Danny asked spinning it around

Instead of answering Eon's body glowed purple as he broke free of the ice falling towards the ground he landed in a crouch standing up he fired a blast at Danny Danny made a shield to block the attack deflecting it into the ceiling

Eon flew at Danny throwing a punch as he tried to grab the thing in his hands seriously Danny still had no idea what this thing was maybe he should ask Tucker

"Such bravado but what do you expect from defeating some of the worst beings in the multiverse Pariah Dark Thanatos Mr. Hyde Asmodeus Vlad Plasmius" Eon listed

Danny blinked a multiverse the multiverse was real sure like any one who liked science fiction he'd thought about it that it might be cool if it existed but he'd never given it much more thought than that

Not while he was in the middle of a fight at least

Eon tried to blast at him again but Danny batted the attack away blasting him with a blast from his eyes

Eon pushed himself up "I will not give up without that device" Eon shouted charging at Danny but Danny held it out his hand began to glow stopping Eon in his tracks

"You mean this" Danny asked "what's so important about it"

"Be careful with that you adolescent imbecile" Eon said "that device along with others is part of my plan to destroy the Omnitrix and it's bearer"

"Yeah I'm not going to let that happen" Danny said "Ben's a friend of mine" Danny said "and I won't let you hurt him"

Eon smirked "you pathetic fool" Eon said firing at Danny with a massive energy blast that ripped apart the floor Danny created a shield to block the blast but he was pushed back crashing into the wall

Rings passed over his body as he transformed back into his normal form Eon picked up the device

"Thank you for your contribution" Eon said Danny grit his teeth his eyes glowed green as he shot the device disintegrating it black ash fell from Eon's hands

"No my device" Eon said glaring at Danny "do you have any idea how few timelines have the component I need"

Danny pushed himself out of the wall transforming back into Phantom "it doesn't matter I won't let you hurt Ben"

Eon looked furious before he smirked "maybe you stopped me on this earth" Eon said holding up his gauntlet "but there are always others" he said slamming down on his gauntlet he faded away in a flash of purple light

Danny frowned at the mention of timelines

He needed to go see Clockwork

'So much for an easy night' Danny thought leaving the lab

Maddie continued to look through old picture albums it had to be in here somewhere finally Maddie found it

It was a picture Maddie had taken of Danny Sam and Tucker before dropping them off at the kids 8th grade halloween party Danny dressed as Superman Tucker as Batman and Sam in the middle was dressed as Wonder Woman with a gothic twist instead of red white and blue the costume was black and white and Sam was wearing a white wig on her head

There was no doubt about it the wig was the same cut length and color as Danny Phantoms girlfriend the question though was why was this Angela wearing it

And who was Danny Phantom

Reviewing their many encounters Danny Phantom was one of the most powerful ghosts Maddie had ever encountered in twenty years of ghost research and was certainly capable of doing a great deal of damage to herself and Jack

But why hadn't he

Could it be possible that there was more to Phantom then meets the eye

She remembered his words when he first appeared at City Hall during the first ghost invasion

'You all have got to believe me I'm not the bad guy here'

At the time Maddie had dismissed the words as a ghostly lie

Especially since he blasted her and Jack shortly after saying them

But then Maddie remembered all the other times she had seen him

In her kitchen just floating in front of Jack

City Hall

On their vacation

And countless others

Could he have been telling the truth

"Mom" Danny asked pulling Maddie from her thoughts he was looking at her confused from the entrance to the basement steps

What reason would Danny have to go down there at eleven at night her son had been drifting away from her ever since the accident last year with the portal always showing up late asleep at weird times or being up at weird hours of the night and he never really had an explanation or half the time it was just saying he was with Sam and Tucker

Or briefly that Valerie girl he had been dating

'At least she was nicer then that Paulina girl he used to have a crush on' Maddie thought briefly

There was also the fact that almost all of their inventions would lock on to Danny

As if he were a ghost

No that was impossible

Was it

Danny Phantoms first appearance wasn't even two months after Danny's accident

And Maddie had heard of people who had survived terrible accidents and gained great powers like Dr. Bruce Banner

Could Danny Fenton and Phantom be the same person

"Are you ok" he asked sounding worried about her again pulling her from her thoughts

Maddie just nodded "I'm fine sweetie I just couldn't sleep"

Danny seemed to accept that yawning he went up stairs

Maddie followed Danny with her eyes before getting up too

She had a hypothesis and needed to test it

And there was only one way to test it

She would need to somehow acquire a sample of Danny Phantoms dna and compare it to Danny's

And pray her hypothesis was wrong

Chuckie frowned as he kept wiping a stubborn spot on the counter

Seriously what was this stuff it wouldn't come off

Chuckie kept wiping it until he heard the door chime letting him know a customer had come in Chuckie looked up to see Savannah Shane one of the popular eighth graders

What was she doing here

The Java Lava wasn't considered 'trendy' enough for the really popular kids

"Can I help you" Chuckie asked Savannah when she approached the counter

Maybe she was lost or something

"Actually I think I can help you" Savannah said reaching into her purse she pulled out a hundred dollar bill and a picture it looked like two people who were caught in the middle of a conversation Chuckie recognized one of the people in it as Danny who had become a regular after he had started dating Angelica

But the girl with him in the picture wasn't Angelica she was older and kinda prettier

Almost like Kim

'No no bad Chuckie don't think about that disaster' he told himself 'besides she only went out with me on accident'

No girl actually wanted to go out with him

"It'd be such a shame if this picture happened to end up in a place where Angelica Pickles happened to see it" Savannah said coyly "well not for us I mean"

Chuckie didn't know what to say "yeah I guess"

"I've seen how Angelica pushes you around and well I'm not friends with her or her boyfriend either" Savannah continued "so the enemy of my enemy is my friend right"

"I guess" Chuckie said

Savannah smiled at him "I can see you need time to figure this out meet me at the gym on Monday when you have an answer" she said turning around walking away "oh and keep the change"

Chuckie looked down at the money and the picture

From the back Betty came out "hey Chuckster any customers" she asked

Chuckie shook his head pocketing both the picture and the money "just a lost tourist" he explained

Betty believed Chuckie and headed back to do inventory with his dad while Chuckie thought about what Savannah had said

After all the enemy of my enemy is my friend

And that's all folks

I know two many dates updates in one day from little old 61394

Weird

This chapter is mostly just a tie in to Danny and Kitty chapter 23 where Eon tried to steal something from Axion labs after trying the same thing in another timeline

As for Chuckie well to find out what he's going to do you'll have to wait until the next chapter
