With what was going on last year but the coach reached out to me and he wants me to be one of his star players. So I took it alright it this one right here" Cameron says as they walk to the building. Elizabeth had butterflies in her stomach; she couldn't believe her oldest son was leaving.

As they walked up the stairs then helping him settle into his room. When his phone beeped making him look down and delete the message.

Then putting it back in his pocket "Hey let's go check out the campus" Elizabeth says as Cameron nodded "Yeah sure let's go" he replies following them out. They stayed most of the day before driving back home watching as they left he took a deep breath. That's when he saw a motorcycle pull up across the quad and taking the helmet off "GUESS WHO'S BACK" she shouted.

With her arms in the air. When the two girls hugged her then doing a handshake "EC is in the building welcome back mama" Emilia said. "Yes this one was going through withdraws without you" Miranda says shaking her head. "I was to Emilia" Emily says putting her hand on her chest pretending to get emotional. As Emilia sniffles "E and E are back in business baby I missed you bitch. Don't hate Mimi I love you too prima" but this is my bitch" she says laughing. "Oh the gangs all here,"Manuelo says as he and Taj come over, picking her up and hugging her.

All the while Cameron stared "That right there is trouble man trust me" someone said as he turned and looked at them. "What are you talking about" Cameron asked, the guy shook his head "the brunette with the blonde streaks. Yeah I'm sure she's a fantastic piece of ass but heads up that girl is crazy.

It would serve you best to leave that one alone" he said, shaking his head. As he looked over at her one last time then walked away "Whatever man" he replied. Before turning to head towards the building and going inside with the guy following him.

"The one you were looking at is Emily C the other one is Emily S and the thick indian looking one is Mimi. Now the story is Emily C ran over her ex and his other girl before beating him down. Now if you see the guy you would think how because she's so small but he only remembers her hitting him.

Then going to open the door "Ooh your my new roommate" Tyson says as Cameron sighs. "I guess shall we"he says going inside with Tyson closing the door. "So where are you from bro" Ty asked, "New York you" he said not feeling up for talking. "Let me guess you're from like queens or some shit I'm from Philly"he says.

"I'm not from the City, I'm from upstate New York" Cam responds by kicking his shoes off. Putting his phone to charge with it buzzing with him stopping it. Then laying down "Ooh my bad"he says, "don't sweat it man" Cam says.

When someone knocks on the door Tyson gets up and opens it. "Oh what's good bro you Cameron this is my boy Aaron we gonna step out you wanna come" Tyson says. "Nah man I'm good, have fun" he responds as Ty nodded before leaving.

Several days later

The DIner

He's been getting to know the campus and the area his dad dropped his car off. So he was able to get around and he was able to find a job at a diner not too far from campus. Which was good it kept him busy especially the way Joss had been calling him.

"Excuse me, can I get a cowboy burger and muddy waters?" they said. That's when he looked up and saw her standing there she had these piercing blue eyes. All he could do was stare as she waved "Hey yeah hi can I order please with a cherry on top" Emily says.

Making him shake his head "I'm sorry yeah sure" Cameron said, writing her order down. "How do you want it? ''was all he got out, "Umm What's your name Cameron. Yes i want it well done ooh and fries" she says tapping his nametag, "Don't give her a Muddy Waters Cameron.

She is only twenty" Taylor said, coming over making her toss her head back "Ugg I'll be twenty one soon Tay come on" Emily says with a grin. "Not this time hon" he says as Cameron went to put her order in as he watched her talk to his boss. When he came back "Umm would you like a drink seeing how I can't give you the Muddy Waters"Cam says.

"Yeah I'll take a chocolate milkshake. Wait, aren't you in Professor. Klien's class?"she says. Shaking his head "yeah sorry Cameron" he replies, "Nice to meet you Emily but everyone calls me Scout"she says shaking his hand. That sent a shiver through them both before they both pulled back "Nice to meet you too Emily do you always.

Give the guy a run for his money" he said making her laugh "ah I have a knack for it don't I" she says with a smile. As he laughed as well "I guess so huh you have a great smile" he said it made her smile even more. "Really thank you nice ass, call me sometimes" Emily said, taking his hand.

And writing her telephone number on it "Miss Scout please tell us you order us food as well" Mimi says, Oohh okay he's cute Em"Emilia adds. Shush, can you make that two more burgers, one Nacho and another cowboy burger with fries, tots and onion rings"she says.

Making him chuckle "Coming right up" Cameron said walking away then taking his phone out and putting her number in his. Then texting her his number then telling them the rest of the order. As she turned to her friends " I totally gonna order for you guys but Taylor came telling him.

Not to give me the Muddy Waters blah blah so yea" she says with a grin. "This bitch you're gonna wait for us to get our food then we all eat" Mimi says. With her cousin agreeing to make Scout pout "No pouting bitch because we're hungry. You know the rules: Scout, the first person to arrive, orders the food for all of us.

Now who's the cute boy?" her best friend says, as she looks back "he's in Professor Klein's class with me. And I just gave him my number,"she said, not knowing Cameron heard her.

"Look at you getting back on the proverbial horse" Emilia said, "Do you think he's gonna call. Because we know for a fact he's heard you were talk around here Scout we all hear the rumors. Babes and it's mostly started by Benjamin and Barbie to make you look bad. But also so guys won't talk to you because even though you guys aren't together.

When Cameron came out with her food walking it to the table "Here you go Emily" he says as when Emilia took the plate from him "thank you so much. What's your name Cameron hello" Emilia said as he stood confused "Emily Sterling give me my plate. Please" Scout said, as her best friend shook her head "No and you know why.

When Mimi and I get our food you'll get yours" she says, "But it's gonna be cold by then" Scout says pouting. "This bitch no, no, no Scout Cameron sweetheart can you keep that warm for her until our food is ready" Miranda said. As Scout crossed her arms cursing under her breath "You lucky I don't hit you bitches" she says to her friends.

"And then we will just be in here throwing hands with no winner" Emilia says with a shrug. "Umm I don't think we can do that but I'll ask" Cameron says taking the plate then going to ask his manager. Who shook his head then brought the plate back out "Do you three enjoy being a pain in my ass all the time" the older man said. As all three girls looked at him and smiled "Yes we do we kind of live for it" Mimi says as they laughed.

"And we do spend a significant amount of money here" Emilia says, "Oh and we are very generous tippers" Scout adds winking at Cameron. Who was amused by the whole thing. It was the first time in weeks that he genuinely smiled "not for long okay" the manager said "Yes thank you thank you" they all said one after the other.

Then getting up and hugging him "You're the best, it's just until our food is ready, promise Scout's honor" Scout her friend shaking their head as the man walked away "what honor your slutty" Mimi says laughing. Making Scout hold her chest "i'm so hurt Mimi i'm gonna tell your dad that you and Manuelo. Have been doing the deed that he is just plowing through you" Scout says making her best friend spit her soda out.

Then laughing at her cousin "Wait do I need to talk to Drew and Mitchum Cain and aren't you fucking a Nakamura" Mimi said looking between Scout and her cousin. Before they all started laughing "I love you guys best friends a girl could have" Scout says shaking her head after a while their food was brought out.

Campus

She was sitting in the cafeteria when he saw her. They had been texting and talking since she gave him her number. "Hey how's class" Cam asked as she sat down when her face lit up "Camerones what's up" she said putting her pen down. "Nothing trying to grab something to eat after practice" he answered, "ah right Lacrosse"Scout says with a wink.

"Yeah what about you how was band practice" he says sitting down,"well I was informed that being that I was suspended for a semester. I have to wait until next semester to be back on the band so it went" she says dryly. As he made a face "I'm sorry I know you were looking forward to it" he said, "well it's par for the course I guess" she said putting on a smile.

"So what are you gonna do? Cameron questioned, "there's nothing I can do Camerones. I have to sit out this semester out" Scout answered. Just then "Hey Cam what's up bro" Jacob says making both him and Scout look up. "What's up JC man?" Cameron replied as Scout just looked before going back to what she was doing. "Hey Cam let me talk to you for a minute" he said, "Give me a minute he's my team captain" he says. Getting up and stepping away "Cameron you're new here so I will give you the deeds. That one is a bad idea. There are plenty of girls here that you can talk to.

But that one is not a good look for your reputation" JC said, "Okay and why is that because someone else says so"he responds. "I'm telling you don't it won't end well. She's bad news" he says, "I don't think so. I know a lot of people who are bad news. That doesn't stop me from talking to them excuse me" Cam says going back to the table.

As JC shook his head "you will regret it big time" he said before walking away. She looked up "everything okay" Scout says, "yeah everything is fine so yeah what's the plan for tonight" he said. When she looks up "So let me guess he calls you to say stay away from her. She's the big bad wolf so are you gonna ask" she says looking him straight in the eyes.

Kelly's diner

She couldn't believe he told and to top it off he was avoiding her calls along with her as well and she was livid because she begged him not to as she walked into Kelly's. Seeing her friends "hey guys have you seen Cameron around I've been calling but nothing" Joss says as Skylar and Lila Rae looked at each other then her"no we haven't seen him I texted him he said everything is good" Lila Rae replies.

No I haven't seen him since after you know"Sky said, "You mean after he ratted me out" she said angry with her friends both girls making a face. "Yea in all fairness and we are not judging triple J but Cameron didn't owe you that after how much you hurt him. He was under no obligation to keep your secret and if we weren't your friends we would lie to you.

But we're not and the truth is that you did to Cameron what Sonny did to your mom " Lila Rae says shaking her head"it's not the same thing Lila Rae at all Cameron and I just grew apart with all that has happened" she responds. Making Skylar shake her head "then when you knew you guys grew apart you should have broken up then but it very much is the same Joss you had feelings for Dex.

I mean you were chasing him all over inputting yourself in mob drama for him and instead of breaking up you held on instead of letting go Sonny had feelings for Nina when he had amnesia. But when he got his memories back he still loved your mom but the thing was he still had feelings for Nina do you not see the correlation" she says.

"No Sonny betrayed our family for her after she kept him away from his family" Joss said, getting aggravated Skylar looked at Lila Rae who sighed. "Triple J the particulars may not be the same but the facts are you cared for Cameron but that didn't stop your growing feelings and attachment to Dex.

The same with Sonny and Nina he may have loved your mother but he fell for Nina as well now we can go around in circles. About this but it's not gonna change the fact that Cameron is entitled to be angry and not just like you and your brother did at Sonny.
