A long time ago, before she was Sekhmet, the goddess was known as Hathor. She is the goddess of fertility and beauty and is faithful to her father. She was a loving wife to Ptah and a mother to Nefertum. She was admired across Egypt until one sudden day that changed her life forever.

Ancient Egypt

Ra sits on his gilded throne in a regal robe with a tired and morose expression. He gazes upon an orb that shows the humans of Egypt doing in their daily lives. He glares scrutinously at some of the humans performing sinful acts. Adultery, murder, deceit, is this what Egypt has come to, as he thought to himself. The mortals did not meet his expectations, as he tried to bear their defiance. But there is so much a god could take before they reach their breaking point.

As he looks on, he hears the voice of his daughter.

"Father, you summoned me?"

The sun god looks up to see Hathor approaching him. Hathor has long, smooth brown hair, crystal blue eyes, long bull-like horns, and a red silk dress.

Egyptian Goddess of Fertility

Hathor (later known as Sekhmet) (Egypt)

Ra gave a weary smile to his beloved daughter.

"Oh, Hathor. I didn't see you there."

Hathor looked concerned for her father and asked, "Father, is something wrong?"

Hathor realized something was wrong when Ra let out an exhausted sigh.

"Tell me, daughter, should the humans be punished?"

"What?" Hathor said, taken aback.

Ra glances back at the orb and scowls.

"Take a look at our followers, Hathor."

Hathor walks to the orb and looks at what the humans of Egypt are doing. She gasped as she watched the humans commit sin after sin with little regard.

"How unforgivable. These humans have no shame," Hathor sneered in disgust.

"Yes. I gave them my wisdom to live prosperous lives. I provide the light to let their crops grow and flourish. I allow let their empire to expand across the sands. And what did I get in return?"

He grips the arms of his throne to the point of cracking it.

"Nothing but debauchery and corruption!"

Hathor rests a gentle hand on Ra's shoulder as Ra growls under his breath.

"And the worst part, the other gods and even our family think I should stand down because I'm...senile!"

Hathor scoffs at this.

Then they're fools! You are one of the most revered gods in the heavens. To think our family thinks you are incapable of leading is unconscionable."

"Thank you, daughter. You're the only one who stood with me. I wish your siblings were faithful as you," Ra said as he acknowledged Hathor's word of confidence.

Ra then looks sternly at Hathor and asks, "I know I am asking too much from you, but you have stood with me as a true daughter should. This is why I ask that you bring my wrath to Egypt."

"What?" Hathor uttered in disbelief.

"Everyone else opposes it, especially Anubis. But I can't let this go unpunished. They must pay for their vices. But if you don't-"

"I'll do it," Hathor said without a hint of hesitation, much to the sun god's astonishment.

"Y-you will?"

Hathor nodded.

Ra felt guilty for what he was asking as he didn't want to burden with this. He pulls out a vial of a dark blood-like liquid in it.

"You must know this, my daughter. This vial contains the blood of Apophis. I water it down to make sure the evil won't consume you. However, there is a chance you will lose who you once were. Are you willing to lose your family?"

Hathor was silent for a minute. Ra looked at her face and saw she was very conflicted about this. While Hathor loves her family dearly, as Ra's eldest daughter, her responsibility must come first.

"I promise to stand by you and our pantheon no matter what, father. And if I must become a monster, I'll gladly do it so you don't have to suffer this burden."

Hathor takes the bottle from her father, opens it, and drinks it. She tastes the rancid sludge which makes her eyes water, but she manages to finish it. It didn't take a while before she felt a painful sensation in her stomach.

"What's...happening to me!?"

She walks away from her father until she drops to her knees as her body slowly changes. Her brown hair became long and matted with a red hue. Sharp fangs grew from her mouth, and her finger and toenails became razor-tipped claws. Finally, her dress is ripped by Hathor's new toned physique.

After the transformation, Hathor lay on the ground, and Ra began to panic.

"HATHOR! H-honey, can you hear me?"

Then a monster formerly known as Hathor began in stir as she got to her feet.

"Yes...father. I...hear you."

Her voice was deep and carried an unnatural in the air.

"But don't call me Hathor anymore."

Ra was also speechless until he managed to say, "W-well, in that case, what do you want me to call you?"

With that, Ra felt an overwhelming aura of bloodlust as Hathor gave a frightening grin.

"I shall be called...Sekhmet!"

Present Day

The audience in the arena felt an air of uncertainty. Neither the gods nor the humans understand what will unfold.

Ra, on the other hand, beams with certainty with Sekhmet's new form.

'Now, my daughter, show that foolish witch why you rule the day and the night.'

Abigail took a good hard look at the vampiric goddess and grinned.

"Show the rumors are true. You are the progenitor of all vampires. Quite an honor to me-"

Before Abigail could finish her statement, Sekhmet blitzed toward the witch. Abigail summons the wall of shadows to block the attack.

As Abigail felt confident, Sekhmet's fist broke through and connected with Abigail's jaw.

"Augh!"

Abigail was sent hitting across the ground before getting her footing.

"Did you see that, ladies and gentlemen! Sekhmet, the vampire queen, has finally landed a devastating hit to that damn witch!" Heimdall exclaimed excitingly

Abigail felt her jaw dislocate and immediately popped it back in place.

'W-what was that?!'

Before she could get her bearings, Sekhmet was behind the witch as she kicked her into the air. As Abigail is launched, Sekhmet soars to meet the little girl with her wings.

"$¢y†нэ!" Abigail yelled as she conjured another scythe and dived toward the vampire queen.

Abigail tries to go for an attack, and Sekhmet catches it effortlessly.

"How cute. Summoning more of your little toys, Abigail? Cute, but I already know your strategy. You have a volund within the town to allow you to use your magic to harm me."

Abigail gave a pained laugh, "Well...I guess you're not as stupid as I thought."

Sekhmet gave a grin of satisfaction at her theory being confirmed.

"Well then, how about a change of scenery!"

Sekhmet grabs Abigail by the neck and jets toward the woods.

"It seems Sekhmet is taking Abigail away from Salem into the unknown. Let's fix that, shall we?" Heimdall said

For the audience to continue watching the action, Astral screens appear in front of them.

The audience saw Sekhmet viciously throw Abigail into the forest. Abigail's body hit many branches before luckily landing on a bush.

As this is going on, Goll looks on in horror as this is unfolding.

"I can't believe this is happening! This is the power of the First Vampire?!"

"Yes, Goll. As the untold legend says, when Sekhmet bathed the rivers with blood, her bloodlust infused with the crimson waters. Those who drank from it became what we knew as vampires."

Goll looked even more scared at this statement.

"So, with Sekhmet having both powers of a god and being the vampire queen, does Abigail have a chance to kill her?"

Brunhilde could only sigh, "I don't know, but what I do know is with Abigail's volund, she will need to be smart on how to use it."

Abigail got out of the bush while Sekhmet landed on the ground. Abigail wobbles towards a nearby tree for support.

Sekhmet snickers, "So pathetic. I didn't even use all of my power, and yet you're on your last legs. To think, if that only Zeus let my progeny and I slaughter you all. Oh well, some things weren't meant to happen, I guess."

Abigail gritted her teeth as she hissed, "мøvэ †нэ $Ʊ-Urrk!"

Abigail felt her throat constrict as the Void Tongue denied her request.

In the human side of the arena, La Voisin hissed in frustration.

"Merde! Abigail should've known that the Void Tongue cannot move celestial bodies!"

Isobel reluctantly nods in agreement.

"Yes, she is getting desperate. Abigail would usually be a step or two ahead of everyone, but when overwhelmed, she becomes sloppy. At this rate, her chances of victory are becoming slim."

"You're wrong."

La Voisin and Isobel Gowdie turn to see Betty watching the fight intently.

"Excuse me?" Isobel said toward the little girl.

Betty spoke with certainty.

"I know my cousin, and she always found a way to survive. I know she will because while everyone sees her as a witch. I see her as the greatest mind of our time."

In the woods, Sekhmet, looking pleased with herself, decides maybe it's time to end this.

"Well, as much as I want to drink your blood. My father's needs come first."

Sekhmet calls forward a fiery crimson-red orb from her hand. Meanwhile, the gods cheered for the death of the witch and another victory for them.

"Goodbye, witch!"

Sekhmet hurls the fireball rapidly toward Abigail with the intent to incinerate her.

Crimson Dying Sun

As it moved closer, Abigail calmly breathed out black smoke.

"fLΔммΔ."

The attack caused an explosion that engulfed part of the woods in red flames. The intense heat scorched the trees and burned the ground completely. After that, all that's left is smoke.

"Incredible! With that, Abigail Williams has been burned to a crisp!"

Heimdall announced as the gods cheered as they believed to have claimed victory.

"Way to go, sweetie!" Ra yelled in glee.

Back at the fight, Sekhmet was about to walk away when she heard the hoarse voice of Abigail in the air, much to the shock of the other gods.

"You'll have to try harder than that."

Sekhmet looks at her surroundings to see where Abigail is.

"How are you still alive?!"

Then Abigail's voice carries within the mist.

"I'm more capable than you think. But I want to know something. Why did you become a monster?"

Sekhmet went silent after Abigail asked that question. For a slight moment, Sekhmet looked unsure, almost regretful, before sneering.

"Isn't it obvious? I did it for the glory of my father. So that you humans be punished for your transgressions."

Then Abigail emerges from the fog like a ghost with a calm expression.

"You're such a terrible liar."

Before Sekhmet could attack, something lunged out of the most and stabbed Sekhmet in the stomach. Sekhmet coughed up blood as she stared at the corpse of a decaying gladiator with greyish-green blotchy skin, rusted armor, and pieces of bones showing across the body. Instead of wielding a weapon, the ghoul has two protruding skeletal blades as its weapons.

Witch Revenant: Flamma

"By the gods! Abigail has summoned a ghoulish of Flamma into the fight?!" Heimdall yelled, shocked that something like this was possible.

"W-what?!" Sekhmet yelled

Abigail feels her neck loosen, and she can speak normally again.

"You see Sekhmet. You're a monster because you had to. I'm a monster because of what I must become. Flamma, tear her apart."

The zombified Flamma let out a loud raspy screech as he unleashed a frenzy of slashes onto the lion goddess. Despite Sekhmet's regeneration, the ghoulish Flamma doesn't reluctant. Eventually, Sekhmet grabs the arm blades and growls as smoke seeps from her mouth.

"Enough!" Sekhmet bellowed as she breathed out a large burst of flame to burn the undead gladiator to ashes.

As Sekhmet scorched Flamma, Abigail yelled out, "gîΔи† $кэLэ†ΔL нΔиd!"

Before Sekhmet could have a moment to breathe, a huge skeletal hand rise from the ground and punched the goddess into the air almost out of the arena. Abigail ran towards the hand and jumped onto it to have it fling her into the air.

"W-what the hell is she doing?" Heimdall yelled as if to speak on everyone's behalf.

When she saw Abigail soaring towards her, Sekhmet used her wings to steady herself.

"Sekhmet! You said you want to taste my blood, right? Then come and get it!"

Sekhmet growled maliciously, "ABIGAIL!"

Sekhmet catches the witch and buries her fangs near Abigail's neck. The shock of seeing this was clear to everyone until La Voisin discovered Abigail was smiling painfully.

"I...I know what she's trying to do it!"

Meanwhile, Sekhmet's face twists to disgust with Abigail's blood tasting rotten and sour.

'Her blood! It's...horrendous!'

"Got you," Abigail whispered as shadowy tendrils manifested and wrapped around Sekhmet's wings.

Then they begin to plummet back toward the arena. The crowd watched in disbelief as the two monstrous women were about to fall into an old church.

As Sekhmet struggles to break free from the tendrils, Abigail speaks to her panicking foe.

"Do you see now, Sekhmet? You were never a monster. Monsters are willing to go through hell to achieve their goals. As for me wanting to be a god, that...was a lie. The truth is...when you threaten the kill those like my dear cousin, Betty."

As they approached the church, Abigail wore a psychotic grin.

"THEN YOU BETTER PREPARE TO GO TO HELL WITH ME!"

Fall From Grace

Upon impact, the church caved in and collapsed from the collision. Debris flew across the arena, and the audience was left speechless.
