Holly was a bit nervous at the airport and Robert could sense that. He tried to keep her mind occupied, he knew she had gone through a lot. He knew what they were about to embark on was going to take a lot out of her. Sitting on the flight he held her hand in his. He could see her nodding off. "You know I used to be a pretty good pillow on these flights." He grinned at her.
Holly looked up at him and smiled. "You always were." She laid her head on his shoulder, he kept a hold of her hand.
"Are you okay?" He whispered, he needed to know how she was handling this. He wanted to make sure she wasn't blaming herself.
"I'm trying Robert, I really am. I just keep thinking what must our child be thinking? Did they spend their life feeling unwanted." Holly sighed, she just wanted to know they were alright and hopefully their life hadn't been bad. That they were raised by good people.
Robert kissed her head. "I love you, we are going to let them know what happened. They are going to love you. Who wouldn't love you?" Robert smiled as he held her hand.
Holly couldn't help but smile once again. "You would say that and I love you for it." She looked at his hands. "Do you think they are a boy or a girl?"
Robert really hadn't gave it much thought but decided to go with his guy. "Girl, I think we had one of each besides you once told me we were going to have nine of them."
Holly laughed lightly. "You really do remember everything don't you?"
"Yes I do. Sometimes those memories were all I've had. When I had to pretend to be dead I kept thinking of the fact that you returned to me only for me to leave to go find Anna. I also didn't let you know how I still felt, it was probably for the best though." Robert told her, it may have all been in the past but bringing up how strong their love was never got old for him.
"I didn't want you to go but I understood, it's who you were, who you are. The man I will always love." Holly looked up at him and kissed his cheek. She always made sure that he knew that she understood his decision.
"Why don't you rest? I'll wake you when we get there." Robert put his arm around Holly and she snuggled up to him, drifting off to sleep. Robert held her close just watched her until he nodded off too.
When their plane landed the two got their luggage and got a ride to where Holly last knew her family lived. She walked up to the door and knocked.
Barry opened it, his excitement evident on his face. "HOLLY!" He grabbed her and hugged her, spinning her around.
Holly couldn't even break a smile, she didn't know who of her family was involved in this so she refused to bond with any of them right now. "Hello Barry."
Barry noticed the chill. He saw Robert and put his hand out. "It's good to see you Robert."
Robert nodded and shook his hand.
"Barry did you know I was pregnant with twins? Or just pregnant in general?" Holly asked Barry, they had for the most part always been honest with each other.
"I told you I didn't. When Ethan showed up I was confused about how you gave him up whilst in a coma but you insisted on it. I found the whole situation rather odd." Barry told her as he motioned her and Robert to come sit down.
The two followed him and took a seat. Holly felt like Barry was telling the truth and could be helpful to them. She hesitated for a moment then finally spoke. "Our family struck up a deal with The Cassadines. They helped implant memories in my memory and got rid of my babies."
Barry was shocked, he didn't know they would do something so evil towards Holly but he also knew their family loved money. The last part of her statement confused him even more. "Babies?"
Holly nodded, once again feeling like Barry was being honest with her. "I was pregnant with twins, one of which I have no memory of at all."
Robert reached over and took Holly's hand. "We feel like some of your scuzzy family may be able to help us find our other child."
"Anything I can do to help I will. I would have never stole being a mother from you Holly, I know how much it meant to you and how much Robert means to you." Barry told them, he was mad at the other members of his family, including his late uncle.
"Help me find Uncle Clive's files. He had to have something in there somewhere." That was the first thing that came to Holly's mind.
Barry stood up. "Come on, you two might have to pick a lock but they are in his old office. It's Alistair's now."
Robert and Holly followed Barry back to the office, hopeful to find something that would point them in the right direction.
Holly picked the lock in no time, there were a lot of files to go through, which wasn't surprising he had ran a lot of cons in his life. She just didn't realize he kept so much proof.
Robert and her spent a good 45 minutes before they started to make any progress, pulling out a file that a picture of her pregnant fell out of. "Holly, I think I found it."
Holly took it from Robert and took a deep breath, opening it up. She saw information about Ethan's adoption and then went to the next page. "Robert this is it."
"What do you two think you are doing!?" A British voice exclaimed.
