Syrian Ken: The trip to Italy is going to be a breath of fresh air for everyone, meanwhile, a B team is going to take over for a few chapters. As for the war, I don't want to get too into manga spoilers in case there are anime only readers, but it will be different from the manga.

In fact, it might be completely different.

Death Omen Star: I'm trying to make Polaris fit, but yeah, it's a bit overpowered. I want to do it justice.

Humble3dore: Achilles will be responsible for some character development on Santana's end, and Part 8 Josuke is going to be a different version altogether. He'll have different origins, but not too drastic.

Balanced goose: Thanks for the amazing stand idea! It sucks that you're locked out, hopefully you can get back in!

Kosaku Valentine: Thank you! I'm truly glad I can do your stand justice, and I'm also glad you enjoy what I have been doing with the story. I know I've said this a lot, but this story seriously wouldn't have reached over 100 chapters without your help! Thanks, a lot!

Jddraign: Ermesis back and here to stay, and Weather is on the way!

Jpx0999: Perhaps, or perhaps that's where he wants you to think it is.

AshenOne: The story is called: I Want to Break Free on Wattpad, it was written by my very talented friend Heaven's Door. The Y/N in that story isn't cringe at all, but is a layered character that feels like they belong in the story of Stone Ocean. I highly encourage people to read it! Also yes, the Italy trip is happening!

Also, Living Dead was hurt, but it was acting tough.

Euphoria: Trevor's sister, huh? That would be interesting! I like it!

Jr: Passione, and Diego! Also...I think she's more into Izuku, but you never know.

dumpstertrashfire123: I love the stand! I'm also glad you like the relationship between Tombstone and Living Dead!

Guest: 0-0. I...never...in all seriousness, I'm not planning on revealing who it is any time soon! It's a mysteryyyy, oooooh...

PhantomKnightPercival: Why would you put that image in my head?

Bearticguy7: I love it!

"Soooo, why are we spying on Dad again?" Johnny asked.

"We need to find out who this mystery woman is." Jolyne responded. "I've done some digging around, and he has a reservation to this really fancy Italian restaurant. No one goes to those places alone! Johnny...if we are getting a stepmom, I want to know who it is! That's why I was wondering if you could take Kyoka there on a date."

"I mean, if I'm taking Kyoka out, I'd want it to be a real date, rather than a reconnaissance mission."

"Considering the very personal experience she had with Cummings, I'm sure she would be just as invested as I am. Knowing her...she would probably want you to have a great stepmother to replace our shitty biological one." Jolyne responded.

"I mean, I guess so, I'll have to ask her."

"Good." Jolyne pulled out her phone, texting Ermes and Anasui. "Because we're gonna find out who she is, and nothing can stop us!"

Johnny sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yare yare daze...Why should I help you with this? We would be invading our father's privacy, you know."

"You fear me?"

"I really don't."

Jolyne raised an eyebrow. "I have seniority?"

"No,we're only three years apart, it isn't a very big gap." Johnny responded. "It's a different reason."

"You love your big sister?" Jolyne said, giving Johnny puppy eyes.

Johnny gave Jolyne an unamused stare, before relenting after about a minute. "God dammit."

"HA! Got you! You sentimental bastard!" Jolyne said with a grin. Johnny frowned and pointed a finger into Jolyne's face.

"Fine, but only because I'm curious too. You owe me after this."

"You get to go on a date with your girlfriend."

"That's something I could do without spying on Dad."

Jolyne chuckled. "You're such a grump. Don't worry, I'll pay for the both of you."

"Alright Jolyne, I'm sold, but I have to get Kyoka on board first." Johnny said, scratching his head. "Whoever this woman is...she better treat him right."

Jolyne nodded, smiling. "That's why this is important. Thanks Johnny, you're the best."

"Well...I try." Johnny returned the smile. "You're lucky I love you, sis."

"You...want me to help you spy on Jotaro?" Giorno asked, confused. "Why?"

"We think he might be seeing someone, and we want to make sure it isn't another Susan." Jolyne explained. "I've already recruited Johnny and his girlfriend to help out, and I think you could give us an advantage. GER can move in stopped time, right?"

"Well, yes, but only when it's active." Giorno explained. "GER is sentient, but it has inherited my morals. It understands it's power shouldn't go unchecked, so it really only comes out in emergency situations, like when I'm close to death, or the stand is too powerful for base Gold Experience to handle."

"Sooo...you can't use it unless you're about to die."

"Or when it's mad. GER was furious when it found out Johnny was shot, so it manifested. It is a part of me after all, so it was merely sharing my grief. Spying on Jotaro isn't a reason for it to come out, I'm sorry." Giorno said, bowing his head. "However, after helping you destroy that horrible woman's career...and the fact that her actions hit pretty close to home...I can't deny that I am inclined to investigate."

"Good...so...my dad said he never really had any love for our mother, but I'm...slightly concerned that was a lie. He might've been hurt more than he's letting on, and..."

"You're worried that the mystery woman is really just some sentiment towards Cummings." Giorno finished. "Do you really think your father would love her after everything she did?"

"NO! NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! I'm just, he might've loved her at one point, and there could be a nostalgic feeling about it, you know? Before their marriage went to shit? Could...you find a way to lure him to her grave, and get his reaction?" Jolyne asked. "Please don't assume that I'm doubting my father...this is more to...see how he's feeling."

Giorno smiled, and nodded his head. "Of course...I just need to be somewhere first, and then I'll get right on it."

"Thanks Giorno, I appreciate it."

"Johnny, of course I want to help, all you had to do was ask." Kyoka said into her phone. "I appreciate that you thought of me first though."

"Well, I didn't want to just treat you to a fake date, you deserve something real." Johnny replied, and Kyoka smiled.

"JoJo...you're adorable. How about we make it a real date, with a little spying on the side? My earphone jacks are the best for that"

"Yeah, that sounds pretty good! I feel like we're taking advantage of Jolyne's money though..."

"Johnny, she's sending two romantically involved teenagers to a really fancy restaurant, not to mention she's been planning our wedding since before we were dating. She wants us to make it a real date, otherwise she wouldn't have paid for us."

"You...are absolutely right."

"I often am."

"Sure, alright, it's a date!"

"Cool! Er...do I have to wear something fancy, or...?"

"I have no idea. We should make it casual...but like...nice casual, you know?"

"Alright, I'll make myself look presentable, as much as a girl who's wardrobe consists of band t-shirts can, anyway."

"You'd look good in anything."

Kyoka shook her head as she plucked a purple blouse from her closet. "You have to say that."

"True, because otherwise I'd be telling a lie."

"Smooth bastard."

"I was being smooth? I was just being honest." Kyoka smiled as she heard the confusion in her boyfriends voice. He was legitimately just saying what he thought, without realizing he was wooing her.

"Leave it to Johnny Kujo to unconsciously flirt. Alright, I'll be ready in a few, try not to kill anybody until I get there."

"No promises."

Kyoka snorted as she hung up, and left her dorm room and began walking towards the exit.

"Hey Jiro! Where are you going all dressed up?" Hagakure suddenly materialized in front of her.

"AAAAAUGH! JEEZ!" Kyoka said, clutching at her chest. "Let someone know you're there Hagakure, God dammit!"

"Whoops, sorry." The invisible girl appeared bashful. "It's just, everyone is back from break, and Aizawa's back, so many things are happening, and now you're going out in some of your best clothes. I was just curious, that's all!"

Kyoka pressed her lips together. Johnny and I were discussing being more open with our relationship...I'll give her a hint.

"I'm going to meet somebody..."

"Oh co-OH! OH MY-"

"Shush, I need to leave soon, he's trying to get reservations right now, and I don't want our classmates holding me up. Can you keep this between us?" Kyoka asked earnestly.

"Oh yeah, of course! I think I know who it is...how long?"

"Since the Yakuza Raid. Thanks Toru, I have to run!"

"Okay! See you later! Tell me how it went!" Hagakure waved enthusastically, and if Kyoka could see her face, she was pretty sure she would see a smile. She really appreciated that I opened up to her about that.

"Giorno, it's good to see you." Jotaro said, finishing up his paperwork. "I trust you are enjoying your stay?"

"I am, there's just one thing..."

"Hm?"

"I...heard that everyone had gotten turns drawing...genitals...on Cummings' grave, and I was wondering if you could show me where it is, I was in Italy at the time she was buried, so..."

Jotaro blinked. "Of course. I'm surprised you haven't gotten the chance to do it yet."

"I've been looking for...my mother's old apartment, and that reminded me of Cummings. It pretty much just slipped my mind."

Jotaro got up from his desk and checked his watch. "Alright, we can make it to the graveyard if we hurry, I have reservations at this restaurant coming up."

"I see." Giorno said, and Jotaro grabbed his shoulder.

"I'm going to stop time, just to warn you in advance."

"Okay."

Next thing Giorno knew, the two Joestars were outside, and they both began briskly walking down the street, until they came to an old spooky looking cemetery, coming to a stop in front of a grave that looked like the inside of a naughty manga.

"Well...that's beautiful." Giorno remarked.

"Yeah..." Jotaro seemed focused on the grave, and Giorno leaned in.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah...just wishing things were different. She was a horrible woman, and...I was a fool."

Giorno's eyebrows knit together. "For?"

"For leaving, for abandoning my family in a vain attempt to keep them safe...maybe then I would've been around to see what a horrible piece of shit she was, maybe then Johnny wouldn't have..." Jotaro fell silent, and Giorno put a hand on his shoulder.

"He doesn't blame you, Jotaro. No one does."

"I do."

Giorno sighed, his mind made up. There truly was no love for Susan whatsoever, he wasn't around to develop feelings. The only thing he feels is regret, a very deep regret.

"You shouldn't." Giorno leaned over, and began drawing. "You did what you thought was right to protect them...you didn't know she was the way she was. She always presented herself as a saint."

"Your father couldn't have been there for you, Giorno. Your suffering was pure misfortune...but I could've been there for him. Well...I suppose the past is the past, I'm done dwelling in it. I can only move forward." Jotaro said, putting his hands in his poclets.

Giorno smiled as he finished drawing, and put the marker back in his pocket after he signed his name. "You're a better man than you think you are, Jotaro. Trust me, I can read people." He met Jotaro's eyes. "Deep under that gruff exterior, you're just a kind-hearted man who's afraid to get hurt again. You might...but there is joy to be found in risks."

"I know, I may have taken a few already." Jotaro responded, catching Giorno's attention. "Alright, I better get going, it's always nice talking to you. You should come visit more often."

"Hold on, Jotaro, what risks?!"

But Jotaro was already gone, and Giorno hung his head. "Dammit...sorry Jolyne."

Then he looked at one of the dicks that stood out from the rest. Huh...Jiro, she's Johnny's girlfriend now, right? Maybe I should make time to talk to her...

She's a pretty good artist.

"Hey, while we're waiting for Dad...is there anything we don't know about each other yet?" Johnny asked, and Kyoka raised an eyebrow.

"I mean, we're pretty open with each other, what wouldn't we know?"

"We know the big things, but what about little things? Like past crushes?" Johnny said with a smirk.

"I'm not falling into your trap, JoJo." Kyoka said, crossing her arms.

"Come on, do you really think I would do that to you?"

Kyoka sighed. "You sure you won't get weird or anything?"

"Kyoka, I trust you, you know that." Johnny said, taking her hand from across the table.

Kyoka blushed. "Alright, so...there may have been a few guys in middle school...I think one of their names was Tokusa? I honestly don't remember, they're not really all that important in my life. I just thought they were cute."

"Really?"

"Yeah...although...there is this one thing that has been in the back of my mind for a while..."

Johnny crossed his legs. "What is it?"

"Before I became friends with you, I found myself admiring...YaoMomo alot."

"YaoMomo?!"

"I DON'T THINK IT WAS A CRUSH!" Kyoka waved her jacks in front of her face. "At least...I don't think it was. I'm not sure if that means I'm Bi or anything...but there was this brief moment where...I really thought she was amazing. Was I just looking up to her? Or was it something else? I don't think I'll ever figure out what that was, since now the only person I ever notice is you."

"Wow." Johnny said. "That's something I didn't know about you, looks like I got what I wanted."

"It really isn't a big deal, it was very brief, and honestly, it was so small that I completely forgot about it. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it really was just nothing." Kyoka said with a shrug. "Either way, I'm more than satisfied with what I got."

"I'm glad you told me." Johnny said with a smile. "So...do you think you'll ever be able to find out?"

"I haven't looked at a girl since her, but that's when you came into my life. I don't think I'm Bi, but if I am, then...well, you already know I only have eyes for you."

"I do. It's just one of those unsolved mysteries."

Kyoka smiled. "Yeah..what about you?"

"Me...to be honest, after seeing my parents and their whole relationship, I was convinced that it wasn't something I wanted. Sure I've thought a few girls were pretty, but...I always held myself back...and then I found someone genuine." Johnny said with a smile, and Kyoka returned it.

"I'm glad we have time to talk and get to know each other more, I know we're supposed to be spying on your dad, but to go on a nice relaxing date like this...it's really, really nice."

"Yeah...actually, there is this one girl..."

Johnny burst into laughter as he watched Kyoka's face fall, and she smacked him upside the head. "You ass!"

"I'm sorry! It's just...it's so funny when you get jealous!" Johnny said, still chuckling, while Kyoka looked the other way and pouted.

"You're lucky you're cute." Kyoka muttered, and turned back. "So...I'm...the first person you ever noticed? Like...your first crush?"

"Kyoka, you're my first everything. My first rival, first crush, first kiss, first girlfriend...and, I'm pretty sure you're also going to be the last." Johnny said, before becoming alert. "Dad's here..."

Kyoka extended an earphone jack and listened in as Jotaro sat at a table near them. "Do you think he sees us?"

"We're here on a date, even if he did, we wouldn't look suspicious." Johnny said. "Now...we wait for this mystery woman, he's sitting at a table for two, so she has to show up."

"He's dressed up super nice too." Kyoka observed. "Did he shave?"

"Clearly, he wants to look his best." Johnny replied. "He could definitely be here on a date himself..."

"Only time will tell..."

"Talk Nemuri!" Joseph slammed his hand onto Midnight's desk, startling her.

"WHAT IN THE-"

"ARE YOU DATING MY GRANDSON?! ANSWER OR PERISH!"

"I...what?"

"Are you and Jotaro a thing?" Josuke asked, in a much tamer approach than his father.

"No,I flirt with him as a joke. Why, is he seeing someone?" Midnight asked innocently.

"NO YOU DON'T! YOU WERE SMITTEN WITH HIM!"

"Mr. Joestar, even if I was, would it really warrant this reaction?"

Joseph faltered. "Er...I mean...it looked like you were dodging my question."

Midnight lounged back in her chair. "Even if I was, I am a trusted co-worker of his. I can assure you, Jotaro isn't someone who gives out his trust willy nilly."

Josuke nodded. "We know that. It's just...with his prior history...we just want to make sure he has found someone better. Someone who will treat him right, you know?"

"I get it. I had my own experience with that woman...she really loved hurting people, and yet she always thought she was the victim. I'm still confused as to why Jotaro married her in the first place." Midnight said.

"He wanted to preserve the Joestar bloodline, so he finally gave someone a chance. Unfortunately, he wasn't around enough to know what kind of a person she was...not until he saw what she had been doing to his son." Joseph said, his face falling. "Then Johnny came to live with me...do you know how long it took me to get that boy to smile?"

"I know, I understand why you guys would be concerned...but...Jotaro is a smart man, and he isn't one to repeat mistakes. If he has chosen someone to be with, he has probably put a lot of thought into it." Midnight said, pushing up her glasses. "As his friend, I am just as concerned as you, but we should have faith in him."

"You're...you're right, Nemuri. Still, can't hurt to know...do you at the very least know who it is?" Josuke asked.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't. It's not my place to say." Midnight responded coyly, and the two Joestars begrudgingly had to accept her answer, and left her office. As they walked through the faculty area, Josuke sighed.

"She definitely knows."

"Absolutely, the question is...does she know the woman, or is she the woman?" Joseph responded, scratching his stubble. "She was being very...suspicious."

"Yeah...the question is, do we pry into it? I don't want to make Jotaro uncomfortable." Josuke responded. "We're his family after all, if we suddenly became invasive, after everything he's been through..."

"Yeah...but at the same time, this is a huge step for him." Joseph said. "I just don't want him to get hurt again."

"Nobody does..."

HE'S EATING BY HIMSELF?! Both Johnny and Kyoka thought at the same time, as they watched Jotaro receive his food. They both shared a look, and proceeded to deflate in defeat.

"He's sitting at a table for two...why make a reservation for one person at a restaurant like this?!" Johnny said, exasperated.

"He didn't have a date! That is...actually kind of sad." Kyoka responded. "Maybe we should sit with him? He looks so lonely."

"I don't think my dad is interested in being our third wheel." Johnny responded. "We should at least say hi..."

Johnny pulled out his phone and shot a text to his sister, letting her know that their father was eating alone. "Talk about disappointment."

Kyoka stuck ravioli in her mouth and chewed, looking annoyed. "Well...at least we got alone time out of this...I was really hoping to get a look at this mystery woman so I could decide if she gets my approval or not."

"Usually it's the other way around." Johnny said with a smile.

"Well, I just hope I don't have to kill this one." Kyoka responded, and her boyfriend snorted.

"I doubt that would be necessary."

"You never know, perhaps this new fling could be Susan reincarnated, maybe she possessed this chick in order to get revenge on me for kicking her sorry middle-aged child abusing ass." Kyoka said with a grin, and Johnny shook his head, amused.

"If that were the case, she'd be even dumber than I thought she was, picking a fight with you twice."

"I'd kill that bitch harder." Kyoka said. "Can I try your alfredo?"

"Sure." Johnny watched as his girlfriend dipped her fork into his plate and twirled it. "I see you've picked up on the proper way to eat pasta."

"Why do you think Gyro hasn't killed me yet? I learned from watching him." Kyoka said, putting the noodles in her mouth. "I wonder if the food in Italy is even better?"

"Hopefully, you'll get to find out." Johnny said with a smile. "I asked Uncle Giorno, and he said he'd be on board with it. We'd still have to do schoolwork while we're there, though."

"Johnny...I don't care about the schoolwork, I care about stuff like this." Kyoka gestured around her. "I care about spending time going on a date with my boyfriend, hanging out with my friends, without having to worry about being attacked! That's why I want to go to Italy...so we can escape for a while."

Johnny leaned over the table and kissed her forehead. "I know...I feel the same way. That's why I'm sure my dad will sign off on it."

"Sign off on what?"

"AAAAAAAUGH!" The couple screamed as they turned to find Jotaro standing beside their table.

"Sorry, noticed that you two were here."

"Dad, warn us! Jesus!" Johnny said, while Kyoka hacked up a noodle she was choking on.

"Are you okay, Jiro?" Jotaro asked, and she nodded.

"Y-yeah, just...a little startled."

"Alright. I have to admit, I'm surprised to see you two here, I came here for lunch." Jotaro said, raising an eyebrow. "It's weird isn't it? How we ended up at the same restaurant?"

He definitely knows. Johnny and Kyoka both thought.

"W-well, we wanted to go on a date, and this place is perfect for that." Johnny said, managing to keep his cool.

"Yeah...I suppose it is..." Jotaro said. "Well...have fun, I need to pay."

"Alright Dad..."

Jotaro left to go pay, and Kyoka let out the breath she was holding. "Sheesh...I don't know how you managed to keep that poker face of yours, he was totally onto us. Well, I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the-"

Johnny was lying face-first in his fettuccine alfredo.

"JOJO!"

"So wait...you're actually Japanese?!" Gyro asked in shock. "But..."

Giorno chuckled. "I had a British father, so I don't look like it, especially since I've been living in Italy for most of my life. My original name is actually Haruno Shiobana."

"I like Giorno better."

"I do too. Especially since it connects me to the Joestar bloodline. It's funny, how fate works. I was basically renamed GioGio." Giorno said, scratching his cheek.

"Wow, that's actually pretty cool. I would've had no idea!" Gyro replied, shaking his head. "All this time, I was sure you were Italian!"

Jolyne ran in. "ERMES KNICKED HIS PHONE! ERMES KNICKED HIS PHONE!"

Giorno blinked. "You had your prison friend steal your father's phone?"

"Oi, I'm good at it." Ermes came into the room, holding said phone. "Does anyone know what his password?"

"Try 1989."

Gyro blinked. "What are we doing? Why are we looking through Dr. Kujo's phone?"

"His mystery girlfriend!" Jolyne said, and looked over Ermes' shoulder. "We need to figure out who it is!"

"I mean...okay, but..."

"Holy shit! He's texting Midoriya's MOM?!"

"WHAT?!" Gyro immediately ran over to look, while Giorno decided to just leave, as he didn't want to be there when things eventually went south.

Jolyne pointed at Jotaro's contacts, and Inko Midoriya was texted recently. "He's texting her! You don't think...I mean, she's been separated from her husband for a while..."

Ermes tapped Inko''s name.

Inko: Hey! How is Izuku doing after the big fight?

Jotaro: Good.

"That's...literally the only two text messages they have ever sent to each other." Ermes said, patting her disappointed best friend on the back.

"Midnight?"

Ermes tapped Midnight's contact info.

Nemuri: Do you think we should start a file on Mineta's sexual harassment?

Jotaro: Yes, although he seems to be settling down a bit. Still, can't be too careful.

Nemuri: Good call.

Jotaro: How's Shota handling being back?

Nemuri: He didn't change at all. 1A just followed his instructions as if he never left, although it looked like they were really happy to see them.

Jolyne grabbed the phone and began scrolling through the texts, desperately trying b to find something.

"DAMN IT! ALL THEY TEXT ABOUT IS BUSINESS!" Jolyne yelled, sitting down. "Who the hell is this woman?!"

"Well, he was trying save you, right? When Yoh Neime attacked? Maybe...it was his love for his family?" Gyro asked.

"I...maybe. I'm still not entirely convinced." Jolyne said, pressing her lips together. "But I suppose we should let it rest for now."

"I thought it was odd...when I saw your brother and Jiro at the restaurant..."

Jolyne tensed up, and slowly turned to find the doorway blocked by a massive silhouette.

"D-D-D-DAD! Er...we found your phone, and..."

Jotaro remained in the shadows, but even though his eyes could not be seen, Jolyne could feel them drilling holes into her. "This was your idea...wasn't it?"

"Uh...I...uh..."

"I hoped you paid for those two, that place really is quite expensive." Jotaro said, stepping closer. "I had to save up just to get a seat, and I make a pretty good salary."

"I'm just gonna...leave..." Gyro said, backing away.

"So...what were you two looking at...on my phone?" Jotaro got even closer.

"Jolyne...I'm scared." Ermes said, hugging her.

"I love you Dad, you know that, right?"

Jotaro held out his hand. "Give it."

Jolyne threw the phone at her father and grabbed her friend's hand. "NIGERUNDAYOOOOO! ERMES!"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The two women sprinted out of sight, and Jotaro pulled his hat down over his eyes. "Yare yare daze..."

Jotaro's phone lit up.

Johnny: Did you pay for our meal? Jolyne was gonna do that.

Jotaro: I know she gave you money, but she's the one who sent you two there. I hoped you had fun.

Johnny: We did...sorry for spying on you.

Jotaro: It's alright, you and Jolyne did it because you care. I'm not mad. Enjoy the the rest of your day, I've got paperwork to do.

Jotaro sighed, and dialed a number and put his phone to his ear.

"Hello?"

"I told you it was a good idea to erase text messages, although I'm not sure they actually read any of ours."

"Who was it?"

"My daughter and her friends. I apologize if this has caused you any stress."

"JoJo...it's time for the both of us to heal, I'm just glad we get to do it together. I know that it is hard for you to open yourself up to someone again..."

"To tell you the truth...I don't think I ever have. This is actually new territory for me...but life isn't worth living if we don't take risks."

"I agree."

"Still, I'm not entirely sure this will work out. I'm...a real piece of work, and I could only be a burden for you."

"That's why you don't want to tell anyone, right? Don't worry, I'm going to give this a chance, and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, and we can still be friends."

"Thank you, I'll meet up with you later."

Jotaro hung up, and exited the building.

Paperwork...I need to come up with better excuses...
