Bearticguy7: Nice stand, as usual, and a pretty neat concept!
dumpstertrashfire123: Santana is leaning more towards Wammu than Kars, most likely because he idolized Wammu's sense of honor, and developed one himself. I thought the rib cage attack was his move...I could be wrong though.
DeathlyJazzHands55: I'm glad you think so! As cool as it would be to start introducing Rock Humans now, the user is human. Their longevity is a result of Paradise City and 'Elysium.'
It's a similar situation to Tombstone and Drink With the Living Dead, except the stand and user are one.
Kyeo307: Oh, Bakugo has a very interesting role to play in this arc, and it's going to be different than his role in the original movie. Not too different, but different.
Euphoria: I like the concept of Dead Man's Ricochet! I must just use it!
Of course, I don't think it would be as powerful as Infinite Shotput.
Balanced goose: Johnny and Gyro are gonna have a pretty big moment together. Can't forget the JoJo and Jobro!
Although everyone in the group is basically a Jobro at this point, but Gyro is the mega Jobro.
The Jobro among Jobros...
I should just stop.
boy: Joseph could play a role, but Paradise City, and it's user, are going to become the antagonist to a member of the group.
Guest: I will neither confirm nor deny it.
Katsuma Shimano was lost.
The 6-year old boy had been separated from his older sister, and was now wandering the island looking for her. As he continued to search, he noticed a small rat scattering it's way through the streets, searching for scraps.
Katsuma rummaged through his knapsack, and took it a cracker, setting it down for the small rodent. The rat immediately picked it up, and ran around a corner.
Katsuma smiled, and continued to wander.
The rat went into an alleyway, checked to make sure there was no competition present, and began munching on the cracker...
SPLAT!
A mechanical hand slammed into the poor creature, sending bits of cracker and and blood everywhere. Paradise City began violently bashing the rat's squished corpse, in a rage uncharacteristic of it's normal calm demeanor.
"DIE! DIE VERMIN! DIE!"
The stand continued to bash the red goo that was once a living thing, and continued to do so until some sense managed to make it's way back into the stands head. Paradise City shook it's head.
"After all these years...rats still set me off."
Paradise City wiped the blood off of it's hands, and began scaling the wall to get a better look at the island. Several heroes-in-training were helping citizens around the island, the electric one, Kaminari, was currently helping an old man jumpstart his truck.
"One of you has One For All, I know it..."
"Report of a lost kid, any takers?" Ochako asked. "I could use some help!"
"I'm pretty good at finding people, I'll go." Kyoka volunteered.
"Yeah! Let's do this!" Kirishima said enthusiastically.
"Shitty Hair, your quirk isn't good for it like Ears' is." Bakugo said.
"You haven't taken a call all day!"
"I'm waiting until I'm actually needed, I'm not moving until there's a villain for me to kill."
"Oh Kacchan..." Izuku muttered. "I'll go, it'll be a breeze with my speed."
"Man, if only I still had Scan, that would've been perfect." Gyro commented. "Hey, Tusk is pretty good at finding people too!"
"Yeah, when I put the Infinite Rotation on them." Johnny retorted. "News flash, not doing that to a child."
"It's alright you two, we've got this." Kyoka said, reaching up and patting both of their cheeks. "You guys can keep the Ferret company."
"I'm waiting until I'm needed..." Bakugo growled, glaring at Kyoka. Kyoka only stuck out her tongue in response, and accompanied the other two as they all embarked to search for the missing kid.
Johnny shook his head, walking over and lounging on one of the couches provided for them. Honestly, this really felt like another vacation, this time with more people involved, with the exception of doing small good deeds whenever the opportunity arose.
It felt nice, doing hero work that didn't involve fighting the president, or killing a singing and dancing demon who could have caused a whole zombie apocalypse.
Or fighting and almost dying to a Pillar Man.
Or losing the use of his legs.
Or getting shot, or getting turned into a child, or-
Johnny shook his head. I'm going to think myself into next week if I keep that up.
What's next? Cthulhu?
Nah, not Cthulhu. It would probably be something worse.
Almost immediately, Johnny could hear Kyoka screaming 'JONATHAN!' in his head, and chuckled to himself.
Toshinori yawned, leaning back in his chair, and Jotaro looked over from his computer. "You good Toshi?"
"I've been losing sleep." The retired hero admitted. "Just thinking about Young Midoriya...do you think the Necromancer had more of an affect on him than he's letting on? He's...a bit angrier."
"He's matured." Jotaro responded. "He's finally started to understand just how cruel this world can be. Ironically, the Necromancer taught him a valuable lesson."
"I should be teaching him lessons..." Toshinori muttered, a sad look coming onto his face. "I feel useless Jotaro...I'm supposed to be that boy's mentor, but he's been learning more from his friends."
"You're his idol, Toshi."
"I'm failing him. I promised his mother that I would watch over him, and yet he ended up fighting someone who could've easily killed him if your son hadn't shown up to help."
"What could you do?"
"EXACTLY!" Toshinori shouted, spitting up blood. He quickly wiped his mouth. "Jotaro, I don't have One For All anymore, I'm just a weak old man with irreversibly damaged organs, I can't lift a finger anymore. I sent this boy on this journey...and yet I feel as though I'm no longer a part of it."
"I thought I failed my son, when he got hurt, remember?" Jotaro asked. "I was out of commission for a while. Then Susan started talking shit, and...look, you only fail if you stop trying. Every day, I'm trying to be a better father, a better man. You can be there for Midoriya, if you actually try to be."
"I was thinking...maybe I should try and use the stand arr-"
"NO."
"Wha-"
"Toshi, that would be extremely reckless. It's a 50% chance of survival, for one, and you aren't exactly in perfect health. It would actually be more likely you would die, no matter how strong your will is."
"I need to protect him Jotaro...I got him into this mess, and while I don't think there could've been a better candidate for One For All, I'm just so worried about him. This is getting far bigger than anything I had to deal with."
"All you had to worry about was All For One. I get it Toshi...although I wish I could say this was new for me too. You might not be able to help physically, for the moment...but you can help in other ways, you just need to think of them."
"I suppose you're right. I wonder how they're doing?"
"Nabu Island is like paradise compared to the things they've been through, besides, even if something did go wrong...they'd be more than capable of stopping it."
"I sure hope so."
"I WAS TIMING YOU!"
"What?" Izuku turned away from Katsuma and saw a little girl in a sun hat running towards him with a phone, looking like Izuku had just committed a cardinal sin.
"You didn't find my brother for a whole hour! What kind of hero are you, huh?"
"Searching takes time. How were we supposed to know exactly where he is?" Kyoka countered, and the little girl opened her mouth, and then shut it. Kyoka just completely destroyed her arguement.
It didn't matter though, she stuck to her guns. "I think you guys should of tried harder, he could've been hurt. Seriously...heroes these days...come on Kasuma!"
Katsuma gave the three an apologetic look as his sister dragged him off.
"Well...that was strange..." Ochako commented.
"Yeah..." Kyoka said, before turning to Izuku.
He looked like he was about to cry.
"DUDE!" Kyoka put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't take that seriously!"
"Deku!"
"I'm fine! I'm fine! Just a bit of shame...I don't mind if I'm suddenly scolded by a child, as long as he's safe."
"You're a great hero Deku!" Ochako said, putting her thumb up. "Don't let that bring you down!"
"Thanks you guys."
The trio began walking back, and Ochako stretched. "I mean, you and JoJo took down the Necromancer, and Overhaul. You saved Eri...and you guys put up a good fight against Santana too! There's no way you can't be a great hero after all of that."
"Well, to be fair, I was on the verge of death during the Santana fight."
"WHAT?!"
Izuku blinked. "Oh yeah, I guess I never really went into detail about that...sorry."
"YOU WERE DYING?!"
"Kinda? I fought an enemy stand user with Hol Horse before Santana attacked, and the guy impaled me. I still tried to fight Santana, but...he was so powerful, and I was already really hurt...then he saw something in me, and spared my life."
Ochako's eyes were as wide as saucers.
"I bet you thought that I got it the worst, huh?" Kyoka asked. "Santana is stupidly powerful, he's almost like a god...but, he's a pretty honorable guy, lucky for us."
"That really scares me, Deku."
"I'm sorry!" Izuku bowed his head. "You really should've been involved sooner!"
"Santana, Necromancer...you guys could've died, and I wouldn't have seen it coming." Ochako muttered. "And one of them is still out there."
"Santana isn't as much of a threat as the Necromancer was. He's still our enemy...but he also protected my mother when the Necromancer threatened her...or tried to. He respects us, so he won't go too far. Honestly, if circumstances were different, he could've been an ally." Izuku said. "But...it's too late to change things now. He's our enemy...just an enemy that we can trust to not make things too personal."
"So...do you think we might fight him again in the future?"
"It's possible. Santana may be the honorable type, but he's still one of the bad guys. He has some sort of feud with Shigaraki and All For One right now...but once he's done with them, he'll probably try and get us out of the way too." Kyoka glanced at Ochako. "But we're stronger than we were before. The only reason he destroyed us when we fought him, was because he didn't fight all of us together, just in small groups."
"He tried to divide and conquer, he won't do so in the future." Izuku confirmed. "We're ready for him, he's ready for us."
"May as well let him take care of Shigaraki for us while we're at it."
Ochako nodded. "He sounds like a complicated guy...he'd probably rip my arms off if I ever fought him."
Izuku shuddered, something that Ochako noticed, and she turned her face away with a blush. Me getting hurt really bothers him...
Gyro yawned. "Man...I'm beat."
"You're beat?" Johnny asked, slumped over on the couch. "The guy that ate an entire three course meal?"
"Hey, the islanders offered it, I took it. Besides, when training with Hamon and the Spin, it's important to get good meals in. Hamon works best when you're at peak health after all."
"True...but overeating could also dampen it."
"Johnny, with all the physical activity we both do, I doubt it actually matters."
Gyro watched the rest of the class interacting. "Hey Johnny...you ever wonder how our lives would've turned out if we never met? I mean, I have a whole bunch of friends now..."
"I'd be stuck in a wheelchair right now."
"I would've had to kill an innocent child."
"I probably would've been separated from the class...permanently." Johnny said, looking off to the side. "Izuku, Kyoka...I probably would've never seen them again."
"They would've stayed in touch."
"I know that, but would I really have the same relationship with them as I do now? Being apart like that, Kyoka and I already had feelings for each other at that point, and Izuku and I just rekindled our friendship after years of being apart. Both of those things were fairly new...they probably would've just turned into online friends, rather than what they are now."
Gyro nodded. "I would've never met them, I would've never met any of our classmates, people who are now dear to me. Johnny...you actually changed my life, you know that?"
"You saved mine."
"Still...when you first picked up that steel ball, and you began begging me to teach you, I thought you were just some desperate guy at the end of his luck-"
"Thanks Gyro."
"-but then I heard your name, I saw the birthmark, and no matter what...you were going to get on that horse, even if you died in the process. That's what made me want to teach you, your determination, your resourcefulness, and of course, our family histories. You are the most stubborn jackass I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and that is why you're my best friend."
"I think we're all stubborn jackasses at this point." Johnny said, chuckling.
"Well, you're a good influence."
"Don't you mean a bad influence?"
"When it comes to Izuku, yes. He was already pretty damn stubborn."
"We did grow up together."
Gyro grinned. "Yeah, I can tell. You're both dorks...you know...Bakugo is in the same vein."
Johnny sighed. "I do. Katsuki is...complicated. I don't hate him, but...he has to understand that he isn't God, you know? I grew up with him too...but I can't forgive him until I know for sure that he wants to change."
"You want to forgive him though...right?"
"...yes, I do. I want to see him as friend again."
"He has been improving, you know. He seems to be making an effort."
"I want to hear it from his mouth...because then I'll know for sure. He's too prideful to say such a thing if he didn't mean it."
Gyro nodded. "I think it would be good for you if you two finally buried the hatchet. Animosity between two people that still care for each other? It's unhealthy. I agree that Bakugo has to be the one to take these steps...but you should be more open to them."
"He went to Italy with us, didn't he?"
"I said more. Show him you care, and he'll return the favor. It's the golden rule."
"What could I do that wouldn't feed his ego?" Johnny asked.
"I don't know...but he does still care about you and Izuku, we can all see it, even if he tries his best to hide it."
Johnny nodded. "And I him..."
"Look, you value my advice, right?"
"Gyro, the only reason I'm alive is your advice."
"Exactly...you need to get off of your dump truck of an ass, and start trying to reach out to him. He won't feel comfortable until he knows that you want to be friends again."
"I don't have a dump truck ass."
"You do, it's huge."
"Dude."
"You do, you're dummy thick."
"No."
"Kyoka told me, to my face, that she wants to, 'play your cheeks like bongos.'"
"What the fuck?!"
"She does!"
"Stupid fucking...making me go out on a useless patrol." Bakugo muttered. "I didn't do anything because there was no point, idiots."
Bakugo paused upon seeing Izuku training outside. He sighed, and walked over.
"Oh, Kacchan! Hi!"
"What are you doing? I have the night watch, not you!"
"Just training." Izuku replied, kicking out. "I want to improve on One For All before the next Big Bad shows up, that way I can be more prepared."
"Bold of you to assume I wouldn't take care of them first." Bakugo replied, pointing at Izuku. "Remember, I'm gonna beat you no matter how much you improve that quirk!"
"And I'm gonna try my best to beat you, Kacchan." Izuku responded with a sincere smile.
Bakugo's nose wrinkled in disgust. "Tch. Try to keep up, loser."
"I will."
Bakugo shook his head, and was about to walk away, when a little boy pushed past him, running in a panic. "OI, WATCH IT!"
It was Katsuma.
"Oh hey, you're the boy that got lost earlier, right?" Izuku asked, kneeling down to look Katsuma in the eye. "What's wrong? How can I help?"
"There's a villain attacking! It's huge!"
Bakugo blinked. "Fucking finally, some real action!" He popped off a few small explosions from his hands in excitement.
Izuku's brow furrowed. "A villain...here? Well, I guess that isn't that much of a stretch considering our history...which waaaaAAAAA-"
Bakugo roughly shoved Izuku aside. "Explain kid, what kind of villain?! And where are they?!"
"That's what I was just asking..." Izuku wheezed from the ground.
"Hello sir, what can I get you?" The bartender kindly asked the dark shape in front of him, completely oblivious to the man's menacing aura.
"Fireball whiskey, if you have it." Came the reply.
"You sound American." The bartender noted.
"I'm from the Midwest." Tombstone said, taking his drink and adjusting the wrappings on his face to drink.
"What brings you to our little island?" The bartender asked. "Business or pleasure?"
"Business."
"No offense, but you don't seem like a businessman."
"I'm in the mole-killin' business."
"Mole-killing? Oh! You're an exterminator!"
"Somethin' like that." Tombstone replied, and looked outside. "So, I heard some UA students were protecting the island..."
"Oh yeah! They're all being super helpful! Just a few hours ago, this kid that can harden himself helped me carry stuff in, I didn't even ask for help!"
"Are all of them that trustworthy?"
The bartender blinked, confused by Tombstone's sudden change of tone. "Well...yes. I'm not sure what you mean, is there a reason to distrust them? They're kids."
"They're old enough to make bad decisions and mean them." Tombstone replied.
"Sir...what is this about? You...don't exterminate rodents...do you?"
"I don't, and that sir, is somethin' you're gonna keep quiet about."
"W-what?!"
"You heard me." Tombstone stood up. "I'm just another customer, that's all. Pay me no mind, except for the whiskey."
"I-I-I..."
"Sir, I'm just a customer. We wouldn't want to make this anything more than it is."
"I-I'll get your drink for you! I'll get the whole bottle, free of charge!"
"I intend to pay."
"Half price!"
"I'm not trying to rob you, buddy. No need to be intimidated...just don't mention I was here, that's all. Chances are, nobody will get hurt at all."
The bartender slammed the entire bottle of whiskey in front of Tombstone, and ran into the back room. Tombstone sighed, pulled out a knife, and popped the cork, and began downing the whiskey. Then, he pulled put his notebook and went over his to-do list.
-:-
Things to do on Nabu Island:
1. Stow away on 1A's boat. ✓
2. Get alcohol in my system. ✓
3. Bring plenty of bullets. ✓
4. Find All For One's mole within the class and castrate them.
5. Piss.
-:-
It was a simple list, but more than anything, he had to accomplish number four.
All For One and Shigaraki had to get their information from somewhere, and considering that class A seems to be the target 99% of the time...
One of the students is a dirty rat.
Tombstone could safely rule Bakugo out, even though Shigaraki tried to recruit him. Bakugo had a good heart deep underneath his pride, and Tombstone couldn't help but see himself in the guy.
Someone within their group? Unlikely, he saw the way they fought the Necromancer and his hoards, they were one big unit.
The other students though...any of them were fair game.
If I kill this traitor, then I can cripple their criminal organization even further. I just need to make sure I kill the right one...
Of course, the other students would be a problem, there's no way they would let me off their 'classmate.'
Tombstone checked his gun, making sure it was loaded, and turned towards the hero headquarters.
Now that you're away from UA, targeting you will be a breeze, Rat.
Get ready class A...
One of you is gonna die today, and you'll be better for it.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Bakugo screamed at Mahoro Shimano, who was backing away from him in sheer terror. "A FAKE VILLAIN ATTACK?!"
"Kacchan, calm down!" Izuku held his rival back as Bakugo continued to scream.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH YOU JUST WASTED OUR TIME?! A REAL VILLAIN COULD'VE SHOWN UP, AND WE WOULD'VE BEEN BUSY DEALING WITH YOUR BULLSHIT!"
"I-I uh..."
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!"
"Kacchan, calm down, they're just kids!" Izuku said, before turning to said kids. "Although...he's right. Someone could've been hurt somewhere else, and we wouldn't have been there to help them. This was dangerous."
"YOU TWO TRYIN' TO MAKE FUN OF ME?! I'LL KICK YOUR TINY LITTLE ASSES! I'LL GIVE YOU A PUNISHMENT YOU'LL NEVER FORGET, I'LL-"
Izuku put a hand over Bakugo's mouth, and Bakugo continued screaming, albeit muffled. "Look, I know in your mind it was just a harmless prank...but please don't do something like that again. And sorry about him, he has a bit of a tempe-"
Bakugo bit down on Izuku's hand.
"OW! KACCHAN!"
"COME BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BRATS!" Bakugo hollered after the fleeing siblings.
"KACCHAN!"
"SHUT UP DEKU! WHAT IF THIS VILLAIN WAS SANTANA OR SOMETHING, HUH?!" Bakugo jabbed a finger into Izuku's chest. "FAKING US OUT LIKE THAT ISN'T FUCKING FUNNY!"
"I agree, but they don't know any better. This is a situation where the scolding has to be gentle, Kacchan, now they might do it again because they don't like you."
Bakugo furrowed his brow. "I'm just unlikable all around, aren't I?"
"That's not true..."
Bakugo sighed, and began walking away. "Forget it."
"Kacchan..."
Izuku could only watch as his childhood friend stomped away, feeling hopeless.
How can I help him? How can I get him to let me help him?
It was the next morning, and Kyoka groggily opened her eyes.
Ugh...I just want to stay in bed...
She rolled over and checked her phone, and sighed. Another day, another mission. Can't really complain though, it's better than fighting some all powerful villain.
A soft knock was heard at her door. "Who is it?"
"It's me." Came Bakugo's response.
"I'm surprised you didn't break my door down...hold on, let me put on something decent."
Kyoka quickly threw on her yellow tank top and the lower half of her hero costume, and opened the door. "What's the deal, Ferret?"
"Do you like me?"
Kyoka tilted her head. "What do you mean by that?"
"Am I likeable to you?"
Kyoka bit her lip, knowing full well what Bakugo was probably going through. "Well, you're an acquired taste...but yeah, I like you. Come in, I think I know what the problem is."
Bakugo followed Kyoka into her hotel room, and she pointed a jack towards the coffee pot sitting in the mini kitchen area. "Coffee? I find it helps me focus when I get stressed."
"You got enough for two?"
"Yup."
"Fine."
Kyoka filled one of the styrofoam cups and handed Bakugo one. "JoJo got me hooked on the stuff, but that's what you get when you're committed to a sleepy pessimist...so, you wanna talk about it?"
Bakugo wrinkled his nose. "All I did was ask you a question."
"And there was a hidden meaning to that question, right?"
Bakugo grumbled, and Kyoka took a sip of her coffee.
"I'll take that as a yes. Look, I know you're not the type to admit that they're having a problem, but I can tell that you have one, one that I constantly deal with. You're doubting yourself, right?"
"I'm not...fuck."
Kyoka nodded in acknowledgement. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable, and I know that you're trying to fight your pride...but you are. Trust me, I understand, it's extremely hard to admit, especially when you're trying to be the best...but considering that I have personal experience, I can spot it."
Bakugo gritted his teeth, and he finally forced out what he wanted to say. "I'm...worried..."
"Of what?" Bakugo actually relaxed a bit. There was no judgement in Kyoka's voice, only concern.
"That I'm not good enough. I'm supposed to be a fucking hero, but how can I do that if nobody likes me?!"
There it was.
Bakugo released the breath he had been holding...he had finally let it out.
"People like you...you just have a bad habit of pushing them away." Kyoka said. "I know for a fact that Johnny and Izuku still care about you, but you've belittled and insulted them both away, especially Izuku. You want to be a better hero, you need to start by patching things up with them first."
"I feel like it's already too late for JoJo..."
"Bakugo, I'm dating the guy, it isn't. Johnny wants to forgive you, he really does. Why do you think we let you into the group? Invited you to Italy with us? He's trying to reconnect with you...but you need to make the first move."
"It was hard enough to admit I have a problem, Ears."
"I never said it was easy, it took me ages to stop hating what I saw in the mirror...that's why we have friends, people who support us. One of these days, you're gonna have to learn how to rely on someone other than yourself."
"I'm talkin' to you right now."
"I know, and I appreciate that. Look...you're a complicated guy...but not a bad one. People do like you, you just need to be a bit more open about how you feel, and you need to let go of that damn pride...I know it's a defense mechanism, but it's a harmful one. That's my advice...you can take it or leave it."
Bakugo finished his coffee, and stood up. "Coffee helped."
"Good."
Bakugo began walking towards the doorway, before turning around. "Thank you Ears..."
Kyoka blinked. "Wow...you're welcome."
Paradise City walked up the side of a building with it's spider legs, and made it to the top, staring down at the hero headquarters.
One For All, One For All, One For All, One For All...
One of you has to have One For All.
I didn't send my stand all the way to this island for nothing, certainly not for leisure...
Paradise City suddenly keeled over. "AAAAAAAAGH! NO...NOT...NOW!"
The stand stumbled around, and caught itself just before it can topple off the building. Damn...whenever Paradise City is too far from me...I begin to deteriorate. Luckily, I'd say I have quite a while before I come to serious harm, but I need to find One For All before my condition worsens...
I hate being in so much pain all the time...but that's what you get when you use the souls of others to extend your own lifespan...
I need to live though, because if I die, Elysium dies, and all of the happy people inside of it.
The stand hopped from building to building at top speed, counting on it's maneuverability to avoid being undetected by any of Class 1A. Suddenly, it came to a stop in front of this brick wall, where a green-haired hero was sitting and chatting with a little boy in a sun hat.
That's Izuku Midoriya. He's part of the One For All group...
"I'm really sorry...my sister doesn't like heroes for some reason, so she's trying to make things difficult for you. She didn't think you'd actually show up..."
"Is that an Edgeshot pin?"
Katsuma nodded.
"Do you like heroes?"
"I want to be one...but my quirk isn't really a combat quirk."
Izuku gave him a friendly smile. "It sounds like your sister is just trying to keep you out of trouble."
"What we did wasn't nice."
"No, it wasn't, but you apologized, so it's cool. Now, it's my opinion, that anyone can be a hero as long as they put in the effort." Izuku said, and Katsuma looked up at him in wonder.
"Really?"
"Really."
Paradise City listened to the conversation, taking notice of Izuku's compassion. He's pretty good with kids...quite the heroic trait.
Interesting...you are a likely candidate, All Might would definitely have picked someone like you.
Paradise City began slowly extending it's arm towards Izuku, silently reaching towards him. I've decided to take the whole group, that way One For All is mine regardless. You and that child will be the first to go...but do not worry, for paradise awaits you..."
Just then, a cluster of people began walking past, and Paradise City quickly retracted it's arm. Damn. Too many people...
Paradise City looked at it's hands, and clenched them. I refuse to back down, One For All will be mine, Elysium is at stake. I have not lived this long to fail now...
I need to plan this...carefully...
Johnny noticed Bakugo sitting next to the phone, scowling. Ask how he's doing...that's a good start.
"Er..."
The phone rang, and Bakugo angrily picked it up before Johnny could say anything. "WHO IS IT?! YOU AGAIN?! NUH UH, I'M NOT FALLING FOR YOUR FAKE VILL-"
Izuku came over and snatched the phone away. "Hello? Is someth-"
The phone was dead.
Izuku stared at the phone, and then at the others. "Communications are down...we have no contact with the outside world."
"We all know what that means...this was deliberate." Bakugo said, scowling.
Johnny glared at the horizon, which now had smoke rising from it. "Get the class together, especially the group...we're dealing with a full-scale, coordinated attack."
