Jpx0999: Momo has bought herself some time, yes, but Paradise City now considers her it's greatest threat.

Bearticguy7: I like it!

Euphoria: I like the idea of Johnny meeting with Mitsuki! I also really like the quirk!

Sergeant Spectre: That could actually be a really funny fight! This stand just bullshitting the heroes into thinking they are in danger, when it's ability is pretty much nothing. That could definitely be used in a cooldown chapter! Great idea!

Kyeo307: One, Guest is on a roll. They are an ace detective, solving my shit effortlessy. I would highly recommend reading their theories, because they are almost spot on! Also...

The user has appeared before, but they didn't seem like a threat at the time...

Guest: Once again, I must commend your brain. You are blowing my mystery wide open! You are so very fucking close, you could almost touch it. Seriously, kudos to you!

Also, I wanted Tombstone to be a bit of a warning for Bakugo of what happens to people who let their pride take control of their lives, so that Bakugo can grow into a more likeable character.

Death Omen Star: While it would be pretty cool for Johnny to use Pluck, right now Diego has it.

boy: Chris Pratt voices Johnny

Balanced Goose: I want to give Bakugo a chance. He was right, initially in this story he really was just an extra, but now that he is shedding his pride, he is earning the spotlight.

Also great stand!

Also, I would just like to point out something. We've probably all watched the first episodes of Stone Ocean at this point, right? (Sorry to people who haven't). You know how canon Susan got animated right?

She was blonde.

She...was fucking...blonde...

I COULD'VE MADE JOHNNY BLONDE LIKE HE IS IN THE MANGA! FUCK!

"What the hell is he doing...?" Kyoka muttered to herself as she observed Tombstone from a distance.

She had left the old factory to do some recon on the villains, but had found the old vigilante siphoning gasoline from some of the destroyed boats. The villains had blown them to smithereens previously, preventing any chance of escape.

Why Tombstone was using them remained unclear...until he looked directly at her.

Shit.

"Not many people can sneak up on me...you should be proud Jiro."

"What are you doing?" She called down.

"Come down here, I'll show you."

Kyoka raised an eyebrow. "Why should I?"

"I believe I've made it clear that you and your group are not on my hit list."

Kyoka sighed and climbed down from the water tower she was hiding in, and cautiously walked over to Tombstone. "I don't trust you, you know."

"Think of this as an apology."

Tombstone removed his gloves, and threw them aside, revealing his worn and calloused hands, and began hauling the gasoline towards a trench that he had dug up. Kyoka warily observed the vigilante as he poured the gas into the trench.

"I fought in the World Wars, you know."

"Really?"

"Yup. WW1 was a bitch. Everyone hiding in holes, gas attacks...I lived through all of it thanks to Living Dead." Tombstone poured the last of the gas into the trench. "Everyone else wouldn't know how to do this, they didn't live it. One advantage to being as old as I am...I remember things that future generations will forget."

Tombstone was about to light a cigarette, but quickly realized that probably wasn't a good idea.

"Fire is nature's fist, Jiro. Everyone has these flashy powers, newfangled gadgets...but fire will always consume. Whether it's the flames themselves, or the smoke that suffocates you...but it's also pretty damn useful, wouldn't you agree?"

"I mean, I guess..."

Tombstone looked down at the pit, and began throwing sticks and leaves he had gathered from around the island into it, as well as laying bigger ones across the top, and Kyoka finally understood what he was doing. "You're creating a fake floor for the villains to fall into, then..."

"I burn them. It's an ancient technique, been done a million times...and yet people just keep falling for it, although there's usually spikes or sharpened sticks at the bottom. You mind sharpening a few with that sword of yours?"

Kyoka looked at the pit, and then at the vigilante, and picked up a few sticks and got to work. "You're lucky we're desperate."

"...I am sorry, by the way. Truly..." Tombstone turned to face her. "I tend to let my anger get the best of me...and I suppose that does make me a bit reckless...but I really do mean you no harm."

"Says the man who held a gun to my head."

"My grudge against Valentine was bad enough to make me see red, Jiro. Surely you've had that feeling before..."

Kyoka was silent, just sharpening a stick.

"I know you have, I've seen it in your eyes. Valentine didn't deserve my hatred, I can see that now...but I've just been so damn bitter over everything. Immortality isn't all sunshine and rainbows...life just loses meaning after a while."

"Life can always have meaning...even an immortal one."

Tombstone turned to look at Kyoka, who was looking at him with a sad expression. "What do you mean by that?"

"You've resigned yourself to your fate...but did you ever think that you were given this life for a reason? It's obvious you have a pretty checkered past, but you kinda just...gave up."

"What else could I do?"

Kyoka shrugged. "I don't know, I'm not immortal. But...I'm the type of person that holds onto hope. Call it naive, unrealistic...but that just isn't true. Hope is the reason why I'm still alive right now, it's the reason why I'm still in the hero business at all. With enemies like Shigaraki, or the Necromancer...it's really fucking scary, but we overcame them because we believed we could."

"I never said hope didn't exist, what's the point in a guy like me having it? A bleak future of duels and killing, mindlessly slaughtering until someone puts me out of my misery...what's the point?"

"Reimagine yourself. You have this whole, 'woe is me' mindset, but have you ever considered the fact that you could make a difference? For a very long time?"

"I could make a difference?"

"Well yeah. Villains are terrified of you, as well as some heroes. You've got this whole Ghost Rider vibe going on, so why don't you focus on giving them something to be afraid of? As long as you don't overdo it, you could become a savior to people, help out, punish the wicked, focus on being the best protector you can be. Punish the wicked, protect the innocent."

"...you really believe I could do that?"

"I hope you can."

Tombstone observed Kyoka curiously. "You remind me of my daughter...she was pretty hopeful herself."

"You have a daughter?"

"Had." Tombstone began forcing the spikes into the ground, and something told Kyoka not to push the subject further.

The two eventually finished the trap, and were now just sitting there, staring at it. There was an air of sadness around them.

Tombstone, being reminded of someone who was dear to him.

Kyoka, feeling the old man's grief and remorse, could only feel sympathy for him, her anger towards him dissapating. All she could do was hope that her words had sparked something in him.

Tombstone reached into his jacket and pulled out a small locket, which contained an old photograph of Jack Blackwood with his wife and daughter, all smiling, not knowing that they would soon be forced apart by Jack's selfish actions.

I wonder...did you two ever forgive me? I wouldn't blame you if you didn't...

He then looked towards Kyoka, and walked over to his bag to rummage around.

Kyoka's walkie talkie buzzed to life. "Hey, you got anything?" Izuku'svoice came through, sounding concerned. "You've been quiet for a while now..."

Kyoka closed her eyes and brought the walkie talkie to her mouth. "Sorry, I ended up helping Tombstone with a trap for the villains...don't worry, he's settled down."

"Is he going to help?"

"I think so..."

"Here, take this."

Kyoka deadpanned as Tombstone shoved the handle of a satchel in her face. "Uh..."

"Inside is 24 ounces of explosives."

"UH..."

"Use it how you like, it's an apology gift." With that, Tombstone began walking away...after he just nonchalantly handed a teenager a bag full of bombs.

If that's an apology gift...I'm not too keen on finding out what he gets people for Christmas...

Class 1A stood on a cliff, surveying what would soon become a battlefield.

"This is it...our last all out push." Iida said, walking up beside Johnny.

"Yup."

"You don't seem fazed..."

"This isn't my first 'last stand'."

"That's...a bit redundant, but I understand." Iida sighed and took off his helmet. "I've pretended to be unaware...and the last thing I want to do is doubt you, but there is more to the events that have been transpiring since our journey as heroes started."

Johnny sighed. "You have no idea..."

"You know that I'm your friend, right JoJo?"

"I do. Trust me, we have good reasons for keeping stuff secret."

"That's what I thought." Iida closed his eyes and pushed up his glasses. "I don't blame you, if it really is as dangerous as you're implying. As long as you trust me to fight by your side."

"Of course I trust you, Iida. We all do."

Iida nodded. "I heard we are forming an alliance with the vigilante that threatened Kaminari earlier, he seemed familiar with Bakugo."

"There was an incident between the two, just before the whole 'Wolf Incident'."

Iida's expression darkened. "The day I was forced to attack my classmates..."

"Yeah, that was a mess."

"I'm not entirely sure about forming an alliance with this man...he sounds dangerous."

"From what Kyoka told me, he's got some baggage."

To the left, said girl was still carrying the bag of explosives, not exactly sure of what to do with them. She tried to hand them off to Katsuki, but all she got was: "Why the hell would I need them?!"

To be fair, he could do the same thing with his sweat, but she thought he would've liked a bigger boom.

Considering she was guarding Mahoro and Katsuma, why would she need them either? Then again, if she was chased...

"What's in the bag?" Kaminari questioned.

"Something Nine better watch out for..." Kyoka had a very Joseph-esque expression on her face, clearly she had gotten an idea.

Momo limped out to join her classmates, she had created a crutch once she was able to do it. "I'm...afraid I am no longer in fighting shape. I apologize that I cannot help directly, but I managed to create a drone to contact the mainland...once it gets across the ocean, we should get help."

"It's okay YaoMomo, that stand really took it out on you." Mina assured the vice representative, who was still pretty downtrodden from the fight.

"Of course it did, I was outclassed immediately."

"YaoMomo..."

"The only reason I'm here right now is a rat. Don't worry about me, really...I will recover in time, I'll continue to assist from the sidelines." Momo said, looking down and frowning.

Where I belong when it comes to these situations...

Gyro had taken a look in Kyoka's gift from Tombstone, and he slowly lifted his head to find Kyoka smiling quite maliciously.

"You're scaring me."

"You're fine, Gyro."

Nine, Chimera, Slice, and this ninja looking guy stood at the entrance to the island.

"They're going to attack us."

"Indeed." The ninja replied. "But we are powerful."

"Who are you again?"

"Call me Slime Shinobi."

"Why are you here? Did we invite him?" Nine turned to his comrades. "Did anybody invite him?"

Both Chimera and Slice shook their heads.

"I am here, because it was prophesized by my master, that assisting you would bring me fortune and glory. Finally, I can prove myself as the greatest ninja of all time!"

Slime Shinobi began copying a move from Naruto.

"He's useless..." Chimera muttered. "How did he get on the island in the first place."

"He's a ninja?"

"Is he though? Is he really?"

"Haven't I seen you at a convention somewhere?" Slime Shinobi responded, and Nine had to restrain Chimera to prevent his ally from tearing the random villain to shreds.

Slice pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look, even if these kids beat the Necromancer, they're just kids, and the Necromancer wasn't exactly the most...cooperative guy. He lost because he fought alone, and we are a unit, right?"

"Right, besides this random guy." Nine said, his eye twitching in annoyance as Slime Shinobi began making swoosh sound effects while swinging an air katana.

The trio, which had once again become a quartet, still without any clear reason as to why, began to enter the battlefield.

Then a laser was shot directly at them.

Nine simply deflected it, and Slime Shinobi began Naruto running towards Aoyama, creating a sword from a blue gelatinous substance from his palm.

"My quirk, Sploosh, allows me to secret slime from my body! I can mold it, and shape it, into anything I want! Now, prepare to be struck down, weird blonde boy!"

Aoyama shot the villains a confused look, and Nine shrugged.

"I WILL BECOME THE NEXT HOKAGE, EAT SHIII-"

Aoyama fired his laser again, and Slime Shinobi went flying.

Slice and Chimera decided to use a fork maneuver to get the drop on the students, but a loud cannon shot was heard, and Slice fell underground, screaming. Chimera reached out for his comrade, but was thrown into a nearby waterfall.

Momo released her hands from the cannons, and fell to the ground, panting. "I...did my part...it's up to you guys..."

"Can you get out of there?" Kyoka asked from the walkie talkie. "Have someone help you."

"Don't worry...I was prepared." Momo pulled out a motorized skateboard and began rolling away.

"Please be careful YaoMomo...I already almost lost you once today."

"Thank you Kyoka. I'll be fine." Momo had to smile at her best friend's concern. You and your protectiveness...

For some reason, Momo thought back to when Sero absentmindedly compared her quirk to poop, and Kyoka punched him across the face and demanded an apology.

Those kids are in good hands.

Ochako had engaged Nine directly, avoiding his laser attacks as she and Sero began hurling rocks at the all powerful villain. Nine narrowed his eyes in recognition. "You were the one who helped fight D'arby, right?"

"I did! And we're going to defeat you too!"

"You cost me that eye."

Ochako's eyes widened. Of course...his illness, that's why he knew about D'arby! That can only mean one thing...

The League of Bad Life Decisions hasn't been defeated yet, this guy is the real final boss!

The sounds of battle echoed all around them as Kyoka, Ojiro, and Shoji led the two kids towards the caves.

Mahoro clung to Kyoka's hand, tight. The ten year old was clearly frightened for her brother's safety, and Kyoka gave her a comforting squeeze and a smile, earning a nervous one right back.

"I hope our classmates can take this guy...he has the same quirk as All For One for crying out loud." Ojiro muttered.

"They will, we just need to have faith in them." Kyoka said calmly. "I'm pretty worried too, but we have to believe we can pull through this."

Katsuma looked back towards the battle raging below. "I still think I should've given my quirk to him..."

"So that he could get stronger? No Katsuma, this is our best option."

"Kyoka...you do realize that if Nine gets past the others, you're a target, right?" Johnny asked from her walkie talkie.

"I do JoJo...and I'm ready. Besides...you're watching my back, so I feel safe at the moment."

"Better to have the two stand users of the class by the kids." Gyro responded. "Although Johnny was more worried about not being there to save you in case things got nasty."

"He's lucky that being cute makes up for his protectiveness. Give him a big kiss for me."

"No, Gyro, NO! STOP! GY-"

Kyoka grinned to herself as the transmission cut off, knowing that Johnny was probably going to get back at her later.

Well, if there was a later.

"Big kiss?" Ojiro questioned.

"Don't worry about it." Shoji advised his classmate, remembering the night he had walked in in the couple kissing in the common room.

A loud boom echoed through the rocks as they continued down the escape route, knowing full well that they were under the watchful eye of the dynamic duo. Kyoka glanced above the rocks and saw a horseshoe sticking out from one of the alcoves, her boyfriend diligently watching them.

Kyoka blew a kiss, and was about to keep walking, when Tusk shot down from where Johnny was and trapped her in a brief hug.

"You die on me, I will throw your album collection in the ocean."

"You do that, I'll take you with me."

"I love you..."

"I love you too JoJo, now...I have some children to protect, you just keep an eye out for when we get out of the cave."

"I was serious...don't die."

"I'll try."

While Kyoka was more than willing to lay down her life to save Katsuma, she also understood the impact her death would probably have on her friends, particularly Johnny. After she had worked her ass off to bring back his smile, the last thing she wanted was for him to lose it.

His tone of voice though...

"Why do I have the feeling you're about to do something that would make me mad?"

"Good luck Kyoka, we're all counting on you."

"Johnny."

Tusk shot back up to it's user.

"JONATHAN!"

Kyoka grumbled and ran into the cave, knowing full well that she was going to be pissed at whatever it was her boyfriend had planned.

Johnny watched her go in, and turned to Gyro. "Okay, now we can begin."

"Why did we have to wait until we were out of Kyoka's line of sight again?"

"Because she would've went out of her way to stop me."

"That makes me concerned."

"It should be fine."

Gyro sighed. "I can't convince you to reconsider, can I?"

"Nope."

Johnny began rotating a nail bullet, and turned to Gyro. "You've got your gift from your father?"

Gyro pulled out a fresh spool of Zombie Horse thread.

"Good."

"Johnny, why do I need it?"

"Oh boy this is gonna hurt..." Johnny muttered.

"Johnny, I must repeat myself out of concern for your health, why do I need it?"

"AAAAGH!" Jolyne collapsed to the ground, holding her stomach, and Anasui immediately ran to her side.

"JOLYNE! WHAT'S WRONG?!"

Ermes knelt down and rubbed her best friend's back as Jolyne gasped for air, and calmly examined the confused and adrenaline-pumped woman. "No wounds..."

"J-J-Johnny..."

"Your brother?"

"He...just...I think he shot himself...in the gut. Why would he...?"

"How do you know he shot himself? It could've been someone else." Anasui said, confused.

"I just do...the blood connection told me. Johnny shot himself...but why? Why would he...unless he wanted us to feel it."

"You don't think he's calling for help, do you? From Nabu Island?"

"That has to be it. Communications must be down if he's desperate enough to do this, I'm sure of it. Class 1A is in danger, and Johnny is calling for help." Jolyne struggled to her feet and strutted out of the room with a purpose.

"Don't worry Johnny...your big sister's got your back."

"URARAKA!"

Izuku caught the beaten heroine in his arms. Nine had used his Hydra quirk to brutally drag her across the ground, and threw her to the side like a used Kleenex.

"Uraraka...hey..."

Izuku lightly shook her, and only got a quiet whimper in response. Ochako turned and buried her face into Izuku's chest, albeit unconsciously...she was out cold, and seriously injured. Izuku landed, and gently set her down behind a rock, and lowered his head.

Thank you Uraraka...you tried your best. I'll take it from here.

Izuku was about to jump back into the fight, but couldn't help but look at the wounded Ochako one last time. I...

I...

Izuku shook his head, and then pulled his hood down, his kind freckled face being replaced by something different, something darker. Izuku pushed a button on the side of the lenses on his hood lit up, only his pupils were visible.

He was ending this.

Izuku shot at Nine with Full Cowling at 10%, and slid between the villain's legs, grabbing Nine by the ankles and throwing them upwards. Nine cried out, not expecting the attack, and fell down. Izuku flew into the air, and and prepared to curb stomp the villain while he was down.

"ARKANSAS SMASH!"

Nine put up an air shield just in time, but he was caught off guard by Izuku's attempted brutality.

He was going to stomp on me?! That could seriously injure me...

He's different.

Katsuki entered the fray, assisting Izuku in the attack, and Nine found the two much more relentless than they were before. They're fighting differently...as if...they're trying to kill me...

Katsuki took Izuku's hand and used and explosion to hurl the One For All user at the villain like a makeshift missile. "X-CATAPULT!"

Nine dodged to the side as Izuku slid across the ground, before the One For All user propelled himself at Nine in an instant. Nine once again put up a shield, but Izuku began rapidly punching the shield, and it began to crack under the consecutive blows.

He's imitating a stand beatdown?!

Lucky for Nine, Izuku could only do so at a low percentage, as rapid punches like that would likely do damage to his arms if he went above 15%. Unlucky for Nine...

Katsuki was behind him.

"DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"

BOOM!

Katsuki shot Nine straight through the shield and into Izuku's beatdown.

"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!"

I see...Kujo is a role model for him. Nine thought as Izuku's fists left several dents in his torso, ripping his white jacket. Nine raised his arms and began blocking the barrage, and sidestepped, grabbing Izuku by the wrist and flinging him into Katsuki.

Katsuki caught Izuku with one arm and used X-Catapult to fling Izuku right back at him, but Nine began using two quirks at once, his laser and shields.

Nine was now on the offensive.

"You will not ruin this for me! I will get that boy's quirk, and I will not hesitate to kill the both of you!"

"FAT CHANCE!" Katsuki shouted, and Izuku just remained silent, as they both dodged around the lasers and tried to get in hits on the villain. Nine had taken control of the situation, however, and despite the two getting the drop on him earlier, he now had the advantage.

Then...he began to cough.

My illness... Nine thought to himself as he struggled to maintain concentration, but he soon began hacking up a lung, falling to his knees. NO!

I'M WEAKENING!

BAM!

Izuku's fist slammed into his stomach, and Nine threw up in his mask.

"We were waiting for your illness to take effect, since you were overusing your quirks, it was only a matter of time." Izuku said calmly, before slamming Nine's head into the ground. The villain's vision began to get blurry.

No...this...isn't possible!

"Surrender...or else."

Nine pressed a button on his life support system. "Right back at you."

"We've got you right where we want you, bitch." Katsuki said, cracking his knuckles.

"Unless you have something up your sleeve?" Izuku inquired.

The lenses Kyoka had installed on Izuku's hood did a little bit more than just give him night vision, they also allowed him to check someone's vitals.

And right now...Nine's heart was beating faster.

Izuku realized what had happened, a little bit too late. HE TOOK A QUIRK ENHANCER!

"KACCHAN, MOVE!"

The two attempted to move as a giant lighting bolt came down upon them, and a third party jumped in the way just as the entire area turned into a light show.

Without missing a beat, Nine began running towards the cliffs, leaving the seemingly vaporized heroes behind.

Three down...

You're next, Jiro.

"Take them, and go." Kyoka instructed Shoji.

"Jiro...this guy could kill you."

"I know."

The two kids looked at Kyoka with tears in their eyes, particularly Mahoro. Kyoka kneeled down and wiped away their tears. "It's okay...this is what I live for. Shoji will take care of you..."

"Earphone Jack, what about you?"

"This could be goodbye, but don't worry. Everything will turn out alright...just have faith." Kyoka pulled the two into a hug, and then pointed towards Shoji. "Now go..."

The two kids tearfully ran after Shoji as Kyoka looked at them one last time.

"You ready Jiro?" Ojiro asked nervously.

"Yes." Kyoka felt calm, at ease. If she were to die today, she would go out as a hero.

"Where's the other two?"

"The caves are a faster route than climbing the moutains...it'll be a while before they get here." Kyoka said, staring at the horizon. "We're on our own for a while..."

"Hopefully we can hold out until they get here."

The smoke cleared as a menacing figure approached them, and Nine emerged, calmly walking towards them, radiating malice.

"He's here."

Nine was glowing, and Kyoka couldn't help but worry about what happened to her friends. I hope they're okay...or at the very least alive...

The haunting image of the people closest to her lying dead at her feet caused Kyoka to shudder as Nine continued to approach.

No, stop it. They're fine. They're strong.

As soon as Nine reached the middle of the bridge, Kyoka fired a grappling hook at the rocks above, and somersaulted over Nine's head, slamming her fists into the ground on the other side.

"HEARTBEAT FUZZ!"

"TORNADO TAIL DANCE!"

Together, Kyoka and Ojiro took out the bridge, and Nine fell down with it. There was a moment of silence as the two stared at the chasm they had created.

Did...it work?

Then Kyoka's vision was filled with a set of giant glowing blue jaws, which clamped down on her, and then she felt a massive impact...

And everything went dark.

Kyoka opened her eyes with a start, and looked around at the endless black void surrounding her. In front of her was a bright light, and it didn't take Kyoka much to know what likely happened.

"I'm...dead..."

Johnny was on his way, he was likely going to find her body. Kyoka looked around, and she couldn't stop the tears from flowing after picturing her boyfriend's reaction. Her parents, deprived of their only daughter. Kyoka kneeled over and sobbed, punching the ground.

She would have to wait until her friends died in order to truly reunite with them. She would have to wait possibly decades, to feel the warm embrace of her family, to feel happy...

It was over, it was all over. To think her story had come to an end in such a tragic way.

"Not quite."

Kyoka paused, and turned around as a thumb brushed her tears away...

To find Jonathan Joestar smiling at her.

"You're..."

"Yes, I am. It's nice to finally be able to talk to you."

Kyoka sniffed. "Why are you...?"

"Because you're not dead, not yet."

"But..."

"Your heart has stopped from the jolt that the impact gave you, but you still have brain activity. Johnny is trying to give you CPR as we speak."

"Johnny found me?"

"He knows that there is still a chance to save you, he felt your life force through your Hamon." Jonathan helped Kyoka to her feet. "He's desperate."

"KYOKA! COME BACK TO ME, PLEASE!" Johnny's desperate and broken voice echoed throughout the void, and Kyoka began to tear up again upon hearing the tone...

It was the same tone of voice that he had during his argument with Susan, back when she said that 'God took the wrong son.'

"JoJo..."

She had vowed to herself that she would make sure he would never sound like that ever again. That he would never feel that way ever again, that she would give him all the happiness in the world.

"He loves you...he really, truly does." Jonathan said with a smile. "You potentially dying like this? It's killing him on the inside...you wouldn't want this to continue, right?"

"NO! SEND ME BACK!"

Jonathan held up a hand as a tearful and desperate Kyoka grabbed him and tried to shake him, which was like trying to shake a brick wall. "SEND ME BACK, PLEASE! HE NEEDS ME! HE-"

"I know. I cannot send you back, only you can do that."

Kyoka was shaking at this point, and fell to her knees, still holding Jonathan's shirt. "Please...show me how...please...I can't leave them, I..."

"I was going to."

Jonathan kneeled besides Kyoka, and looked into her eyes. Kyoka began to relax upon seeing the kindness that was shining from the first JoJo's blue pupils, and she knew that this was someone that cared very deeply about her.

"Do you know why I activated your Hamon breathing when you used Pluck down in those caves?"

"It's...because I was noble, right?"

"There was a little more to it than that. Yes, your brave and noble heart was a good reason for why I did it...but I also did it because I have been watching you and Johnny for a while now. You two genuinely love each other, and would do just about anything for each other. Do you know how rare a relationship like that is?"

"That's why I need to go back..."

"I know, don't worry, you will. Kyoka...the reason I empowered you...you're not only a true hero, and a good person...but...you remind me of Erina."

"Erina? How? I'm kind of a bitch."

"I would prefer the term 'sassy', but...the way that you and Johnny are, it's the same way that Erina and I were. We had genuine love between us, just like you and Johnny, but Erina was unable to fight by my side like you can. I did it because...if my bloodline is to continue, I want it to be through you."

Kyoka couldn't help but smile. "Thank you...Mr. Joestar."

"Call me Jonathan."

"Er...that would be a bit weird. I usually call Johnny that when I'm angry at him."

"Fair."

Kyoka felt her body coming to, and then pain that was coming with it. "Oh boy, this is gonna hurt..."

"I'll give you a boost." Jonathan took Kyoka's hand and closed his eyes, and began glowing. "DEEP PASS OVERDRIVE!"

Kyoka felt herself going back, and waved at Jonathan, who smiled and waved back. She was going to give this Nine guy a piece of her mind, and...

Her JoJo was waiting for her.

"Kyoka...come on, you promised me..." Johnny was just hugging her now. "I can't lose you...I can't...there could be no one else, you understand? Please...don't go."

He had found Kyoka in the middle of a crater, bloody, broken, and not breathing at all. He had felt her Hamon, so he had desperately tried to revive her, but nothing was working.

He might have just lost the love of his life, the only girl he could ever love.

So he just held her, praying to anyone that would listen.

"I can't lose you Kyoka...I can't...I love you..."

"I...love...you...too..."

Johnny's eyes shot open as a hand weakly rubbed his back, he looked down to find Kyoka smiling at him. "Kyoka...KYOKA!" Johnny hugged her tighter and began sobbing, kissing her on the forehead in relief.

Outside, Gyro had engaged Nine on his own, and it was clear that the Italian was enraged. Kyoka's apparent death had set Gyro off in a rage.

Nine was definitely struggling.

"Jo...Jo..."

"What, what is it?"

"Heart...beat..."

"Huh?" Johnny looked down to find a jack pointing at his chest, and he got the message, and took it in his fingers, angling it over his heart. She needed to use his heartbeat as a reference to use Hamon.

Upon hearing the rhythm of Johnny's heartbeat, Kyoka altered her breathing to match it. Johnny felt more than just Kyoka's Hamon, he felt something familiar, Hamon that was very similar to his own.

Jonathan Joestar...

Kyoka's wounds began to heal as she used both her Hamon, and Jonathan's, to recover. Finally, she sat up, and kissed Johnny with all of the love she had for him. This Hamon kiss wasn't interrupted however, and violets began blooming from the ground as Kyoka found her strength.

She separated their lips, and wiped blood off of her face, running a hand through Johnny's hair. "Like I've always said JoJo...you're stuck with me...I'm not dying on you, not if I can help it."

"You really scared me." Johnny breathed out. "I just can't lose you Kyoka...I can't."

"You won't, now...where is that smile?"

Johnny could only offer her a somber frown. "Kyoka, you-"

"Smile motherfucker."

Upon hearing his girlfriend's crass attitude once more, something he would've missed, Johnny had to grin.

"There we go." Kyoka struggled to her feet, and drew her sword. "Now, I don't know about you, but I kinda want to return the favor."

Johnny opened his mouth, but knew that talking her out of it would be pointless. Nine had caught her off guard, but now she could do some damage, he knew better than to doubt her.

Nine was busy holding off the enraged Italian, when a sword suddenly chopped into his shoulder. Nine coughed up blood as he dashed away, flinging the sword aside.

Then a grappling hook was fired directly at his face, and he was blasted by sound at the same time. Kyoka was limping towards him, the Dark Determination burning in her eyes as she unleashed everything in her arsenal at the villain.

Didn't I already take care of her?! They really are trying to kill me!

She's wounded though...

Nine attempted to shoot a laser at the limping Kyoka, but Tusk simply blocked it with it's arm. A steel ball scraped the flesh off of Nine's side in retaliation.

He called down lightning, but a nail bullet soon punished him for it.

A steel ball smashed his elbow.

A sound attack caused his ears to burst.

And a heavy punch from Tusk completely shattered his air shield.

Then Kyoka closed in the distance, and drove her fist into Nine's stomach, glowing with a golden light. The light traveled down her jacks and into the speakers she wore on her hands.

"HEARBEAT OVERDRIIIIIIIIVE!"

*FUCKING LOUD ASS BASS DROP*

Nine flew off the cliff and into the chasm she and Ojiro had created earlier, as a giant ripple of golden light knocked him backwards. Kyoka pulled out a button from her torn jacket, and pressed it.

BOOOM!

Nine screamed in agony as the bombs Tombstone had given Kyoka earlier went off, but he managed protect himself with an air shield. He was propelled back towards the cliff, and began sprinting into the caverns.

I cannot fight these three at once! These kids are actually willing to kill me!

Kyoka fell to her knees, panting, as her wrist amplifier fell to pieces. "Ow..."

"We got him pretty good, but he's still going after those kids." Johnny said, scowling. "We need to hurry up and finish this guy off."

"Give me a moment...that was the last of Jonathan's Hamon I had..."

Gyro suddenly grabbed Kyoka and forced her into a hug, the Italian shaken by her apparent death. "You fucking idiot...you actual piece of shit, you do that to me again, I'll kill you myself."

Kyoka closed her eyes and hugged Gyro back. "I'm so sorry...both of you...is Ojiro okay? Did..."

"I'm...fine." Came a grunt, and Kyoka looked to her right to find Ojiro sitting to the side with bandages covering him. "Thank God Gyro is a doctor."

Kyoka limped over and took Ojiro's hand. "It's gonna be okay, hang in there."

"I was really worried that you were gone Jiro...although I think I understand the 'big kiss' comment now."

Kyoka looked back towards the crater she had come out of. Where she and Johnny had been making out was in clear view of the wounded martial artist. "Oh..."

"I always wondered why Ashido and Hagakure shipped you two..." Ojiro smiled. "Is...Shoji okay?"

"We're gonna make sure of that."

"I can't move...my whole body hurts."

"I can't move very well either." Kyoka admitted. "Hamon allowed me to keep fighting...but I probably need to go to the hospital...could be some internal bleeding..."

Johnny had a dark look on his face upon hearing of the extent of Kyoka's remaining injuries. Gyro leaned over her and lightly put a hand on her shoulder. "Can I take a look?"

"We don't have time." Kyoka staggered to her feet. "I'm afraid I can't walk very fast..."

"I'll carry you." Johnny said, leaning forwards and presenting his back to Kyoka.

Kyoka staggered over and got onto Johnny's back, grunting as she did so. She then put her chin on his shoulder so that they were cheek to cheek. "I saw that bullet hole, by the way."

"YaoMomo's drone wouldn't have been fast enough, so I used the blood connection...sorry."

"You know what I'm about to do, right?"

"I think you dying on us was punishment enough."

"I wasn't dead."

"You were pretty damn close. Your heart stopped."

"You did CPR on me, right?"

"Of course I did."

"You touched my boobs."

Johnny blinked, and gave Kyoka the side eye. "What are you talking about?"

"Chest compression typically involve touching the chest, therefore, you felt me up Johnny Kujo, you fucking pervert."

"I was more focused on saving your life than your boobs, Kyoka."

"But now you're thinking about it, right?"

"..."

"There's your punishment, think, and suffer."

"Yare yare daze..."

Gyro sighed, and smiled as the three pursued Nine into the caves. I don't think I could've handled it if we lost you Kyoka..I'm glad you're still your witty self.

Gyro tipped his hat, and went after the couple, tossing a steel ball up and down.

Nine was gonna bite the dust today, especially after almost taking someone so important away from them.

Slime Shinobi grunted as he slowly sat up, and looked at the burning battlefield around him. After being shot with a laser, he felt like shit.

He slowly got up, and began limping around, trying to find the battle.

No, my master said I must assist Nine!

My master said that only then will I become the greatest ninja of all time!

Then he fell into a pit, and was impaled on wooden spikes. He coughed up blue liquid as the outline of a cowboy filled his vision.

"Well well well, you've taken quite a tumble."

"GAK! GURK!"

Tombstone removed the cigarette from his mouth. "Pity that I couldn't have caught Nine himself in this trap, but you'll have to do. Then again..." Tombstone reached down and rubbed the blue slime between his fingers. "Smells like Play-doh...definitely flammable."

Tombstone slid into the pit and walked over to the impaled Slime Shinobi. "Honestly, I have no idea where the hell you came from, but you might just make this trap a bit deadlier. Honestly, it's like you're just some joke character who's sole purpose is to contribute to my plan, talk about convenient. Don't worry though..."

Tombstone pulled out a knife, ready to stab it into Slime Shinobi's skull.

"You won't have to suffer any longer."

Mahoro screamed as Shoji's limp body was thrown to the side by Nine, who reached out and grabbed the ten year old by the throat.

"MAHORO! LET HER GO!" Katsuma screamed in terror, watching as his big sister was getting the life choked out of her.

"Give me your quirk, and I will." Nine reached out a hand, and Katsuma got a good look at him.

He was burnt, bleeding, and desperate. Bruises covered the villain from head to toe, Class 1A had done a number on him.

Mahoro's face was beginning to turn blue, and tears were forming in the girl's eyes.

"FINE! Please...let Mahoro go..."

Nine released his iron grip on Mahoro's throat, and the girl fell to the ground, coughing. Without a word, he extended a hand for Katsuma to grab.

Katsuma walked forward, and Mahoro shook her head from the floor, unable to speak.

Then Isuzu came out of nowhere and kicked Nine in the face, hard, breaking the villains mask.

Nine coughed and staggered back as Izuku put himself in front of the siblings, Katsuki behind him. Izuku's pupils peeked at the two from the holes in his hood, and saw red finger marks on Mahoro's throat.

"You bastard..."

"First the Jiro girl miraculously recovers, and now you two?! I vaporized the both of you!"

"Kaminari saved us." Izuku said, his voice dripping with venom. "He used himself as a lightning rod."

"We're gonna take you down, here and now!" Katsuki stepped forward, noticing Nine's burns. "I see Ears finally figured out what to do with those bombs...I hope it fucking hurt."

Nine, his face revealed, sneered at them. "Truly, between Necromancer, D'arby, and now this...your group is the most meddlesome bunch of stubborn bastards this world has ever seen. Well, I'm pretty stubborn too...allow me to show you my resolve!"

Izuku and Katsuki prepared themselves as Nine injected himself with a quirk enhancer once more...

This was it, Nine or the heroes...

Only one could leave this conflict alive.
