the guest: As much as I love Dynamite with a Laserbeam, I don't know if I could trust myself with another writer's characters, I'd want to do them justice.
Bearticguy7: He might do some damage if he were to appear. Nice stand!
Euphoria: The thing is...I want Johnny and Gyro to fucking clap them. Class 1B would take out their three other teammates, and then get demolished by the dynamic duo. It would be a giant slap in the face, which would be in character for the both of them.
Also, I still want Katsuki and Kyoka to be on the same team.
Jpx0999: He's definitely coming back, he's the first enemy stand user that legitimately won.
Jay: I would say the dub for MHA characters, and sub for JoJo, since the two share voice actors.
Or the other way around.
Or all dub/sub, it's really up to the reader's imagination.
Kyeo307: Thanks! The group really needed this, yeah. I always try to write cooldown chapters after intense ones.
PhantomKnightPercival: Setsuna, meet Kyoka's boot.
Death Omen Star: I'm trying! I'm not entirely sure Magicians Red White and Blue would work out, but I'll see what I can do!
Balanced Goose: You might have, although I love all of these! Some are pretty overpowered!
Also, remember when I said that most of their enemies are retired, and some might return?
A CoolK stand will be making a reappearance next chapter...
Momo could feel a storm brewing.
Ever since her encounter with Paradise City, she felt obligated to do more research. This stand and it's user presented a genuine threat, not just to herself, but to the public as a whole.
So she had spread a map of Mustafu on her desk in the treehouse, and borrowed Kyoka's notes to pinpoint the exact locations of the stand's supposed victims...
At least the ones they knew about.
Families separated, homes destroyed...seemingly at random...
Why? He wants One For All, so why target random people?
There has to be a link, a pattern. The stand I met was calculating, and it did everything with a purpose...
Random abductions do not suit the stand I met in those sewers...
Momo knew her friends would be concerned on her obsession on the subject, but Paradise City was far too much of a threat to just let go. Her opponent was smart, very smart, so it was safe too assume that it's attack on Nabu Island wasn't the user's only plan.
So Momo began digging into the homes that were raided.
No connection! Nothing! The only thing I have is a path! Wait...
Momo created red yarn from her palm, and pins. She began putting a pin in every location, in chronological order, and connected them all with string. Her breath began to quicken as she got a clear picture, and she took a step back, horrified:
A picture...of a cross.
He drew a picture with his abductions...this was all calculated, all planned out, meticulously. There must be more than just religious iconography, this can't be the only message he was sending...
Momo realized something. He's clearly very religious, talking about 'Elysium' during our confrontation, drawing a cross with his trail of crimes...
The names of the victims didn't have a connection before...
But now that they were formed into the shape of a cross, Momo began to read them from top to bottom, as any other way would be sacrilegious. Once again, she got an answer, and the user's true message was spelt out, using the surnames:
Salvation is at hand.
It's mission, it's goal. All of this was an attempt to make it's intentions known. Momothought to herself. It truly isn't malicious...these people aren't dead, and...
Momo needed to make a call.
The Doctor finished setting up his mouse traps, and jabbed a knife into the dead rodents he had captured the previous night. "Disgusting creatures..."
Even mice weren't able to escape him, who knew what kind of diseases they were carrying?
He shook the dead mouse into his furnace, and shut the door to avoid the fumes.
Disease...
The Doctor shook his head, and turned to his notes. It was no secret that he had encountered a worthy adversary in Momo...the question is, what to do about it?
If left to her own devices, she could deduce who I am. If only she understood the grand picture...but she's too dead set on protecting her nameless friend...
Let's see if they remain nameless...
The Doctor continued to rifle through different pages and leaflets, taking off his mask, and running a hand through his grey hair as he continued to search through the documents...
I know you're in here, One For All.
"Alright, it took pulling quite a few strings, but here are the medical records you asked for." Jotaro said, slamming the stack in front of Momo. "Any particular reason as to why?"
"These are the victims of Paradise City, I've made a few connections on my map, if you wanted to take a look at my notes."
Jotaro walked over to Momo's desk and observed her notes on the subject, nodding in approval. "Great detective work, Yaoyorozu, this connection is pretty solid. Why do you want to look at these people's medical history, though?"
"Paradise City knew quite a bit about me, down to my blood type. That kind of information would be on my own medical record, don't you think?"
"Yes...and Koichi said that the stand claimed it's user was precise..."
"And every single one of the victims was sick." Momo said, slamming the papers on her desk in satisfaction. "Our user is a doctor...and all of these people had fever, chills, or abdominal pain..."
"He has specific targets, for a specific disease, at least the symptoms of it..." Jotaro scratched his chin. "And he did so in a specific pattern, meaning he planned for this."
"Not all of them were abducted from their homes, some were lured quite far...and security footage caught the abduction. It's like...he's trying to prevent something."
"Not all of our antagonists have bad intentions...but he's clearly going about this the wrong way. It would be natural to assume he isn't exactly the most sane individual...perhaps a traumatic event that broke him, in the past."
"Something to do with this disease?"
"Quite possibly." Jotaro began dialing up Koichi. "Yaoyorozu, what you have just discovered might be crucial information."
"I sure hope so..."
Kyoka grunted in pain as she sat down with some difficulty.
"You good?" Gyro asked.
"Hamon training is a bitch."
"Well you aren't going to get good at it overnight." Gyro said.
"Do you have to keep beating me up?" Kyoka asked, putting an ice pack on her bruised cheek. "I hate fighting without my jacks..."
"It's a whole new form of combat. You and I aren't going to stop until you can hit me with a proper overdrive." Gyro said, handing Kyoka a bottle of water. "You wanted to commit to this."
"I did." Kyoka sighed, taking a swig. "I'm just so used to whipping people with my jacks, actually committing to my fists and stuff without incorporating them is hard."
"You've used them your whole life, I get it. This is new for you. Don't worry, you'll get to use your jacks eventually, but in order to learn the basics of Hamon, you've got to practice with the four appendages previously used by the Hamon users of old."
"Yeah, I guess earphone jacks weren't particularly common back then, were they?" Kyoka smirked.
"Like I said, the way you use Hamon is unique, I think you could create something awesome, but you need the basics first."
"You're right." Kyoka seemed to be staring into space.
"You're still scared of this, aren't you?"
"...It's a big change. I know it's probably for the better, but it's still pretty terrifying. I'm still going to do it, I mean, I can't rely on my support gear to keep up with you guys forever..."
"You don't even need Hamon to do that, with how hard your jacks can hit people, not to mention that pretty impressive brain of yours." Gyro poked her in the forehead. "Plus you're probably the most empathetic out of all of us."
"You're the one who said I give people hope...so I decided to run with that."
"As you should, although you wouldn't necessarily have to try." Gyro said, getting up. "Alright, break time's over, now hit me, full overdrive."
Kyoka groaned, and got into a fighting postion.
"You want to produce an overdrive, consciously? I'll only give you one hint..."
Oh boy...this is Gyro's cryptic teaching methods I've heard so much about...
"What is it?"
"You've already done it, multiple times."
"Uhhhhh, no I haven't."
"I'm not talking about Hamon, something else, something that's inside you."
Kyoka was understandably confused, but she didn't have time to think it over, because Gyro began charging at her with the grace of a raging Italian bull. Reflexively, her jack shot out like a whip, but a steel ball intercepted it...
And her jack was wrapped around the steel ball like spaghetti on a fork.
"OW! FUCK!"
"NO JACKS!" Gyro yelled as he rammed into Kyoka's stomach. Kyoka had the wind knocked clean out of her, preventing her already shaky Hamon from being utilized.
Kyoka, however, was pretty damn good at hand to hand. While that was mostly due to her extra appendages, she was certainly skilled with her fists too. She slammed them into Gyro's back, stopping his tackle, and rolled to the side.
The steel ball had screwed up the muscles inside her jack, and it was painfully clear that she wasn't going to unwrap them from Gyro's signature weapon.
Gyro pulled himself up, and swung his leg straight towards Kyoka's stomach, clearly trying to keep her from finding the rhythm for Hamon, but she raised her arms to block it. Nonetheless, Gyro had used the Spin to reinforce his leg, and Kyoka went down.
THINK OF JOHNNY'S HEARTBEAT! THINK OF JOHNNY'S HEARTBEAT!
Kyoka managed to find something resembling Johnny's rhythm, and caught Gyro's fist, glowing with a faint outline of Hamon. She shifted her weight, and proceeded to flip Gyro over her shoulder, catching the Italian by surprise.
Gyro landed on his feet, and jabbed a finger into her throat, Kyoka gagged and staggered back, and Gyro spun around and kicked her in the back of the knee, causing her to go down.
Kyoka coughed and sputtered, and Gyro took a step back, allowing her to recover. "Don't tell me that's all you've got."
"No...it...isn't..."
Gyro took a look at her, and sighed. "Nah, I think I've beaten on you enough. Clearly, you just aren't cut out for it yet."
Kyoka's eyes widened in disbelief as Gyro began walking away, adjusting his hat.
Gyro, one of her best friends...
Just said she couldn't do it. Someone who had done nothing but encourage her up until that point, had just given up on her.
Insecurities came flooding back, followed by anger. I'm not enough?! You don't think I have what it takes?!
Really?!
Memories of bullying, heartbreak, self-loathing, and the feeling of helplessness burned inside of Kyoka's mind, all of the things she had fought so hard to overcome, something that she still struggled with...
Something that hateful bastards like Susan only fueled...
And then came Johnny, it always came back to him. The person who was with her every step of the way throughout her journey, the one who brought her out of that dark mindset...
The person who lit her inner fire.
My inner fire...
No...I'M NOT DONE!
Kyoka dashed towards the retreating Gyro, and he turned around just in time for Kyoka's fist to collide with his jaw. Anger, love, confusion, and sadness went into that single punch...
But it was enough.
In the back of her head, she knew what this was, and she knew why Gyro had said what he did. This was the reaction he was expecting of her, he had taken her down a peg for the sole purpose of lifting her up.
Thank you...Gyro. Kyoka thought to herself as Hamon swirled around her fist, golden light crackling as she poured all of her emotion, all of her resolve, into this one strike.
"OVERDRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!"
THUD!
Gyro slammed into the ground and rolled a good distance away, the force of Kyoka's punch was enough to send the much more experienced Italian flying. He left a trail of dirt behind him once he stopped, and laid still.
Kyoka could only stand there, staring at her own smoking fist in wonder, before realizing that she might have just seriously hurt her friend. "GYRO!"
Kyoka ran over to her friend and turned him over, only to find a big, goofy smile on the Italian's face...
A pearly white smile, with a missing tooth. She had knocked the golden grills right out of his mouth.
"That was awesome Kyoka...painful, but awesome. I knew you could do it."
"Holy shit, I am so sorry! I didn't think I was hitting you that hard!" Kyoka felt really bad. "Hold on, your grills have to be somewhere around here."
Gyro waved her off, rubbing his cheek. "Don't worry about it, I wanted you to do that...although to be honest, I was expecting something a bit weaker...your Hamon is pretty damn strong, with proper training, you could even give Mr. Joestar a run for his money."
"You sure it wasn't like...remnants of Jonathan's that I didn't know about?" Kyoka asked, looking at her hands.
"Nope, that was all you." Gyro replied. "You put strong, meaningful emotions into that strike, and you got me with a pretty damn powerful one. That's the ticket to a successful overdrive, that's why you landed one on Nine."
"Because emotions were high..." Kyoka breathed out. "I understand, I have to channel the things I'm passionate about, right? Things that I feel very strong towards."
"Now you get it, Nyo Ho!" Gyro got to his feet, still massaging his jaw, and handed Kyoka a wine glass. "Now that that's over with, let's do something a little less violent. I'm going to pour grape juice (since the legal drinking age in Japan is 20, unfortunately) in that glass, and I want you to try and keep it in with Hamon."
Kyoka, having got a first taste of finally using her own Hamon, and meaning to, eagerly accepted. You know what? I'm actually pretty excited about this!
I hope Momo's okay with me knocking her boyfriend's teeth out...
Izuku jumped a bit when Jolyne sat next to him. "Hey Izuku, what's up?"
"Jolyne! Hi! Nothing much, I was just helping Uraraka come up with ideas on how to decorate her new desk..."
"Heard you had pretty embarrassing loss the other day."
Izuku chuckled. "Yeah, but it was the funny kind. This guy had a completely useless stand ability, and yet he managed to trick us into thinking we were dying. It's so stupid it's hilarious."
"I bet, don't worry about it. I've had my share of embarrassments, like when that prison guard caught m-"
Izuku tilted his head as Jolyne froze. "Is this the blackmail that JoJo says he has on you?"
"Y-yes...I'm glad I caught myself. Sometimes I just admit things without thinking...ugh, almost in front of your brother's friend Jolyne!" Jolyne smacked herself in the forehead. "Sorry about that...I really just wanted to check up on you."
"Oh, well I'm pretty good." Izuku said, honestly. "So far, the world isn't ending, so...we can relax and just focus on our studies for a bit."
"That's good, that's good...so...you know how the Italy trip and the Nabu Island assignment were supposed to take you away from all of that?"
"With limited success."
"Yeah...so...there was an alternative motive...at least for me." Jolyne scratched her cheek. "I wanted you guys to be in a good mood when I told you, so...try and keep this to yourself for now until the whole Nine incident blows over."
"Sure! Of course!"
"Thanks...er, Narciso and I are getting married..."
"That's...been established Jolyne."
"That's not what I'm talking about."
Izuku blinked, confused, and Jolyne sighed.
"We're getting married as in the wedding is soon, Izuku."
"Oh...OH! That's awesome!" Izuku lit up.
"Yeah, I know...I wanted you to know first, just in case I can't tell my brother myself." Jolyne said, sighing. "The information should at least come from someone he knows."
"You could've asked Kyoka."
"She's got enough on her plate, learning Hamon and settling her beef with that weird lizard chick from 1B, not to mention her recent...not-death...I don't want put this on top of that."
"Okay...but, why would I ever have to tell him? It would mean a lot more coming from you. You're his sister."
"I know, but..." Jolyne leaned back. "Do you mind if I'm real with you for a second?"
"Of course."
"I...I know Johnny loves me, and I know that I will always be his big sister...but...he just got me back, you know? We spent most of our lives apart, and now that we've finally started being real siblings again..."
"You're worried he's going to think Anasui is stealing you away again."
Jolyne nodded. "I love my brother like no one else, my family. I know he likes Narciso, and I know Johnny wants the best for me...but...I'm worried that this will hurt him. I honestly don't know if I can tell him, I'm too afraid...he's grown so much, and I don't want to undo anything."
"I don't think you will. Johnny has a whole support system around him now, and...knowing him, family and friends are what matters most to him. He might be a bit sad, but you and your happiness is his number one priority."
Jolyne chuckled, and Izuku noticed a sad, foreign look on her face.
"I'm serious."
"I know you are...you've known him much longer than I have...that's why I came to you...I'll...see you around, Izuku."
"Jolyne-"
"If I can't do it, tell him for me, alright?"
Izuku watched his childhood friend's older sister walk out of the room, and felt a quiet sadness fill the room. Jolyne was trying to be the best big sister she could be, be put with her fast approaching marriage, and the fact that their garbage mother separated them for so long...
She felt like she was abandoning him immediately after she came back into his life, and it was crushing her, not to mention the recent fright the Nabu Island incident gave her.
JoJo...your sister needs help.
Johnny was simply going for a walk through downtown, content. Kyoka had recently texted him a picture of herself and Gyro, both bandaged and bruised, and grinning like it was perfectly normal.
It was nice to know those two were just as insane as he was.
They also lost Gyro's signature Go Go Zeppeli! grills during training, so he figured that he could ask Momo to make a metal detector for them later.
Then he felt an earphone jack tap him on the shoulder.
Huh? But Kyoka's with...oh...
Mika Jiro smiled kindly at Johnny. "Fancy meeting you here."
"Likewise, Mrs. Jiro."
"Oh come on, call me Mika."
"That's gonna take some getting used to, sorry."
Mika chuckled, her soft amusement mirroring Kyoka's. "I get it. I heard about the Nabu Island attack, are you alright?"
Johnny almost locked up.
How am I supposed to tell her that I almost lost her daughter?
"Yeah...for the most part."
Mika heard Johnny's heart skip a beat, and sighed. "Look, I'm actually really glad I ran into you...I've been meaning to have a talk with you for a while."
Is this a 'stay away from my daughter' thing? No, I'm pretty sure Kyoka's parents like me...
Until they find out about all the horrible things she's been through.
"Sure, what is it about?"
"Kyoka...is a very loving daughter. She may act tough, and I think you already now this...but she has a good heart, and she values the people closest to her more than anything."
"I know that very well."
Mika looked Johnny in the eye, seriously. "She hates lying to us, you know...and I have earphone jacks too, so I know when she is..."
"She's...been telling you things..."
"I hope that doesn't bother you."
"It doesn't, I'm just surprised she hasn't ever brought it up to me. We're usually pretty open with each other."
"She's probably afraid you might get mad at her. She mentioned that she came pretty close to...during the Nabu Island fight...so I wanted to check up on you."
"You're...not bothered by what happened to her?"
"Oh hell no, I'm mortified. It's every mother's worst nightmare...well, most mothers anyway. That's another thing she let slip. She didn't share anything uncomfortable, only the stuff we already knew from her public downfall...but...I know that Kyoka had to...take care of her, Kyoka couldn't keep us in the dark about those scars."
Johnny nodded, remaining silent.
"I hope you aren't mad at her-"
"No, I'm not. I had a sneaking suspicion you and your husband knew a bit more than you let on anyway. I know your daughter very well...you two are her world, it was only natural that she would want to be honest with you."
"You seem upset though."
"It has more to do with what happened on Nabu Island..."
"You saved her though. I'm grateful for that."
I see...so Kyoka bent the truth around her near death, making it seem like I got there in time to save her. Makes sense, how could you tell your parents that you had to be given CPR?
"It still scared me, and with you knowing about it, I guess I was just worried-"
"Johnny." Mika got in front of him and put her hands on his shoulders. "That situation was completely out of your control, and no matter how worried I am for my daughter, both Kyotoku and I understand that. I would only be making things worse by telling you to stay away from her."
"I agree."
"She wouldn't listen to us even if we did, she loves you to the moon and back. Still..." Mika sighed. "Kyoka has always been the type of person that wants to help people, to see them smile. Maybe it's because she's a musician like us...that's the reason we do what we do. You have had so much pain throughout your life, and Kyoka wanted to fix it...and you ended up helping her instead. Kyoka doesn't frown when she looks in the mirror anymore, and she isn't afraid to do things as much..."
"It was a two-way street." Johnny replied.
"I know that, but you have done so much for my little girl, and she's flourished. Kyoka has become so much stronger, thanks to you, and I'm eternally grateful. So...considering what your own mother probably did to you, and considering she tried to murder my daughter...I want to make that wrong a right, if you're going to be my son-in-law someday...I want to be there for you."
Johnny was legitimately touched. It was clear that Mika valued him quite a bit, due to the effect he had on Kyoka. She didn't seem to judge her daughter's actions in any way, nor his, she just genuinely seemed to care about him.
Is this what motherly love feels like?
The way Mika had approached it was gentle, and kind, soothing, not unlike how Kyoka often was whenever he was down in the dumps.
Like mother, like daughter, huh?
"Thank you, Mika. Kyoka is very lucky to have a mother like you." Johnny said, smiling.
Mika returned it. "As long as you keep loving my daughter, you have one in me as well."
Johnny nodded, a warm feeling spreading all throughout his body from Mika's gesture of kindness. "Thank you..."
Mika seemed to know that what she had said had affected him, because she smiled and put a hand on his shoulder, giving it an appreciative squeeze. "I have to get going, I need to get some things so I can force Kyotoku to cook for me...but, just remember that no matter how dramatic my husband may be, you're always welcome."
"I've already said 'thank you' twice, but-"
Mika laughed. "Kyoka is right, you are a dork." She turned to find walk away, but stopped. "Another question..."
"Sure, what is it?"
"What base have you two gotten to?"
Johnny turned into a sputtering mess, trying his hardest to give her a reasonable response, only to see she had a hand over her mouth, trying to prevent herself from laughing.
She's messing with me.
Heh.
Like mother, like daughter...
"What the fuck is all of this, Ponytail?" Katsuki asked, looking at Momo's map and notes.
"I have a lead on Paradise City's user, if we can locate him, perhaps we can end it's threat for good, and find a way to return all of the people it's stolen."
"It seems like it's personal."
Momo grimaced. "In a way, yes. However, I'm also doing it because it could present a threat to Izuku. If it could find all that information about me through medical records..."
"It could find Deku's quirkless diagnosis, and figure the rest out from there." Katsuki finished. "How smart is this guy?"
"Very, he's a genius, a brilliant tactician." Momo said, taking a sip of tea. "It isn't a stretch to think he already knows we're onto him."
"And what do you think he'll do about it? Kill us?"
"We don't know how far he is willing to go." Momo said, and turned to face Katsuki. "Only that he is a threat."
Katsuki stared at the map for a while. "You should take a break."
"Huh?"
"You look tired, so don't be a fucking idiot and rest for a little bit. He isn't attacking right now, so take a break."
"I'm sorry, it's just that I've never heard you vocalize concern before."
"I'm trying to be better. I've always had it, just..."
"You're coming out of your shell, I understand. Thank you Bakugo, I will take a break." Momo pushed her research aside. "Besides, I've made considerable progress, so we might have an edge in this game of chess."
"Good. By the way, Gyro lost his fucking gold teeth while teaching Ears Hamon, and they've been trying to find them."
"Like, his actual teeth?!"
"No, just the gold shit he likes to wear over them. He only lost one real one."
"How hard did Kyoka hit him?!"
"He's fucking fine, don't get your ponytail in a bunch." Katsuki waved her off. "They just need help finding them."
Momo walked over to the small crate and pulled out a metal detector.
"When did we put a metal detector in the fucking Loot Crate?"
(Come on, if you had encountered as many villains as they had, you would have kept a few things too).
"Kyoka and I fought a prospector themed villain just a little bit after the treehouse was first finished, he wasn't that interesting, and he didn't last very long, but we figured his gear could be useful."
"Huh, didn't know that."
"Like I said, he wasn't very interesting. Still, goes to show how even the smallest victories can prove useful."
Katsuki nodded, and walked over to his own desk, running a hand across it as Momo descended down the elevator.
"Fuck...it really does look like charcoal..."
The Doctor could only stare at the piece of paper in front of him.
Midoriya...he is classified as a late bloomer, with a previous quirkless diagnosis.
It's him, it has to be. His 'late' quirk is a strength enhancer, just like All Might's was. Everyone else was born with a quirk, or a stand.
To think, the answer was so simple.
The Doctor couldn't believe it. If he had gotten access to this file earlier, he might've avoided his encounter with Momo entirely. Izuku was right in his grasp too, back when he had encountered the OFA user giving a young boy a pep talk.
If only I had been less cautious and just went for it...I probably could've escaped from the island using Take Me Home...
All of that research, hours of rifling through papers...
And the answer was found in one tiny little box.
The Doctor turned on his computer, intending to write it down, when his attention was diverted to his security camera system.
Jotaro Kujo was talking with one of the doctors in the hospital he gets his tools from, and obtained a set of papers. From the lenses on his mask, a set of brown eyes narrowed in suspicion.
The Doctor was a very cautious man, and as such, he was tapped into every single medical facility in the area, always taking care to watch for any signs of his potential discovery. Without another word, he picked up the phone, turning on his voice box as he did so.
"Ulric! What do I owe the pleasure of this call?"
"Please refrain from using my first name."
"Ah, sorry."
"It's quite alright, we've been friends for quite a while now, it's just that you never know who might be listening in."
"Fair...what do you need?"
"It has been brought to my attention that Dr. Jotaro Kujo asked for a stack of papers today, and I was curious of his intentions with them, and of course what their contents were."
"Oh, of course! This is for medical purposes, right?"
"Would there be any other purpose? I wanted to know if there was anyone that needed my brand of treatment."
"You're so devoted to your work, it's no wonder my father learned so much from you...and my grandfather...you've been around for a while, helping us save lives. To answer your question, no one needs treatment. Those are the medical records of the victims of this new ranged stand that's going around, apparently one of his students needed them to help solve the crime."
"Ah...did he...mention the student?"
"Only that it's a she, and that she's a pretty good detective. He had a pretty high opinion of her."
Yaoyorozu...
The Doctor cleared his throat. "Thank you, that will be all. I'm sure those people are going to be okay."
"I certainly hope so, Goodbye Doctor."
The Doctor hung up, and turned back towards his desk.
"So...she has begun investigating me, I have no doubt that she has likely deciphered my hidden message to the world, and quite possibly my intentions. Truly, she is a worthy opponent, an intellect that could be equal to my own..."
The Doctor adjusted his mask, looking at Momo's medical file, as well as his notes that he had taken down from their encounter. How she had consistently avoided his ambushes, and how she had managed to come out on top, even when all odds were against her.
The Doctor flipped a switch, revealing his many monitors, and many security systems, all watching places of interest, including UA.
"If it's to be war between us...you'll find me more than prepared, Yaoyorozu..."
The Doctor swiveled his chair towards the monitor showing UA, and focused his attention on the hillside just outside of the woods, where his quarry was currently assisting the other members of the OFA group, including his target, Izuku, in finding something on the ground.
"Let the game begin..."
