The halls of the Aldera Junior High were home to many tales and myths. The most famous among them being the abandoned school building at the end of the field. The school claims that they don't have the funds to tear it down and would rather use the money they have to better the education of the students, but the students like to spin this claim into a fantastical story. They claim that the governing body is too terrified to tear down the building because it contains a cursed object.
Every student would say the 'cursed object' would do various things to you. Making one who gazed upon it blind, removing other bodily senses, cursing your family to be unfortunate or even instant death, but the one myth that stayed the same was that consuming it made you stronger than even All Might himself.
And this was what made the cursed object the target of one Katsuki Bakugo.

The night air was frigid against Izuku's skin. He really wished he was at home and in bed like he should have been. Instead he was roped into being Katsuki's meat shield while he and his lackeys explored the abandoned building for the cursed object. He sighed as he wished he could have stood up for himself.
"Come on Deku, you're quirkless so you being a shield for me makes total sense! I'm gonna be number one and I'll truly surpass All Might if I find the cursed object!" The echo of his friends voice was clear in his mind. He looked around the aged building. Wood, exposed through peeling paint, covered in dust and spider webs was the only treat for the eye. The occasional patch of mold that Izuki held his breath around was a colorful addition but less than welcome. Izuku looked at his phone again to see a message from Bakugo, telling him to stop slacking and pick up the pace.
As Izuku made his way towards the only room with light coming from it, he heard the creak of a wooden floorboard behind him. Shaking heavily, he jittered his way into a partially open door, leading to a small closet. The wooden creaks became louder and more prominent, but they weren't loud enough to overpower the voices that accompanied them.
"Maybe it's just not real. We've searched nearly every damn inch of this shitty place and not a single talisman in sight." The voice echoed off the walls and frightened Izuku even more. In the dark, this voice was scary and intimidating.
"He wouldn't just send us on a goose chase for nothing. Giran knows what he's talking about." The footsteps paused for a moment. Izuku held his breath, terrified that any slight movement would alert these new people to his presence. "That room has light coming from it. Someone's probably in here." The floor shifted slightly from the person's movements.
Unseen by Izuku, the two strangers had armed themselves with a mace and a knife. The two stepped forward and peered into the lit room to see a group of teens inspecting a small wooden box, wrapped in cloth.
"I-is that it, Bakugo?" The winged teen asked. The ash blond that the question was directed at just grunted in annoyance.
"Obviously." He replied, irritated. "If someone was dumb enough to thing that curses are real then they'd wanna put it under as many stupid talismans and wraps as possible." He stood up as he burned the cloth away with his quirk. The wood underneath was untouched by the intense heat. "This thing isn't going to make me number one! I already was, but now people will be so sure, no one could ever have a second thought that I'm the next All Might!" He opened the box triumphantly but quickly dropped it from his hands. The clang of wood was followed by a soft thud on the ground in front of him. Another lackey of his had backed up entirely against the wall, pointing at it with an elongated finger.
"Wh-wha-what the hell is that thing?!" The onlookers couldn't help but laugh at the frightened states of the teens in front of them. Startled by the noise, the group of teens huddled together behind the contents of the box. Bakugo was glaring into the dim highlights of their new visitors. One had a bug-like face while the other looked gelatinous.
"That thing," the bug man pointed at the object on the ground. "Is one of the fingers of Ryomen Sukuna." A look of horror was etched into the faces of the teens present.
"Sukuna?! No way. That's just a myth!" Bakugo's lackeys jumped even higher in place when the slime man created a tendril to grab the grotesque purple finger. Eyeing it in the dim light, the slime man hummed in satisfaction.
"Myths are based on truth." The bug headed man said. "Consume a part of Sukuna and you can become the strongest." He shrugged as he took a glance at the finger.
"This is definitely the real deal. Giran was right." The slime man created another tendril to grab the box and secured the finger back in the case. "Welp, we're done here. But we can't have any witnesses. No one's allowed to know whos collecting these. So unfortunately for you, you're gonna die tonight."
Bakugo's lackeys shrieked in fear and began to melt down. Bakugo was equally as terrified but tried his hardest to stay calm. He couldn't let his friends see him be weak. He flared his palms as he started to devise a strategy to get out of that room alive. Blowing up the whole area could kill them in the process. If he was alone he'd do it, but he needed to be a hero in front of these guys.
The room was heavy with the smell of mildew and tension. The bug headed man took one step forward, the chains of his mace clinking together. That's when it all went down.
"What the-?!" The slime man looked behind him when he felt the disturbance. In his sight was a trembling Izuku, holding the box containing Ryomen Sukuna's finger. Every person stood idle in the moment. Bakugo was wide-eyed at the ballsy move made by Deku, but quickly realized what was happening.
"RUN THE FUCK AWAY DEKU!" He broke the silence and startled Izuku from his trance. Not needing to be warned twice, Izuku made a made dash through the halls of the former school. Dust assaulted his eyes as he ran for his life. He could hear the squelching of slime and the stomping of boots giving chase. His thoughts ran back to Bakugo and his lackeys, cowering under the imposing pressure.
'I just hope they're okay! As long as they make it out alive!' He thought grimly. Turning another corner, his breathing grew heavy as this chase was much longer than the ones he was used to with Bakugo. His eyes were hardly adjusted to the dark and every step gave him anxiety as he narrowly avoided broken floorboards and jagged rocks in his path. With enough luck, he could probably make it-
Horror, or more accurately, a moldy wall filled his vision. He stomped hard on the ground as panic flooded his body. The shaking in his limbs could probably tear down the rickety building, given enough time. Slowly turning his body to face his assailants, he held the box firm in his hand. He could feel the malice within the finger, itching to break free. If the villains were right, then this finger being the remnants of the Ryomen Sukuna of legend spelt demise for the current world.
Approaching the teen, the villains chuckled heartily at his situation.
"Well, looks like the chase is over. How about you hand over that box and we'll make your death painless." The slime man held a tendril out in the shape of a hand. Izuku would have been fascinated by the control if not for the fact that he was in a life or death situation. Thinking hard, Izuku tried his best to conjure up a way out of this. Gripping the box ever tighter, the finger's aura clawed at his skin, as if begging to be freed.
"Y-y-you ju-just want the f-finger... Right?" Izuku slowly held the box up. With his other hand, he unsteadily took the lid off of the box and gazed upon the finger for the first time. A shiny black claw for a nail pointed directly at Izuku's face. The small bit of moonlight from the broken wall created a shimmer that cast light onto the rest of the detached limb. His eyes flickered between the finger and the villains, recalling their words.
"Yep. Just be a good boy and hand it over nicely now." The tendril inched closer to the box. Time seemed to slow for Izuku as he steeled his resolve. A fire was lit in his eyes as he stared the villains down.
"Well... here you go!" Izuku tossed the box in the air, the finger falling out because of the angle it was thrown. Falling directly towards Izuku, he opened his mouth and prepared to consume the finger.
"No!"
"What the hell?!"
The slime hand thickened as it surged forward to pin Izuku against the wall. It was a desperate attempt to keep Izuku from eating the finger. As he breathed in hard through his nose, Izuku took a moment to regain his thoughts before swallowing hard. The gulp was comically loud as the villains started to writhe with anger.
"This fucking kid just ate the finger! Dammit! How do we face Giran now?!" The bug man shouted. The slime villain, still holding Izuku in place just chuckled.
"Well let's just cut him open. Pry the finger from his entrails." The slime villain retrieved his knife from his body and made a close approach to Izuku. Ready to strike, he raised the knife one more time, to make the it was fatal.
Only, his attack never reached.
Clattering on the ground, the knife the slime villain once held laid there in a pool of slime. Staring at the weapon, both men felt an overwhelming presence wash over them. Turning their attention to their captive, they were stunned in place by the four eyes that bore into their souls. The intimidating orange rings highlighted their green iris backdrop as the black pupils of the formerly meek teen shimmered with rage.
"Don't touch this body... It's fresh." Again, the limb that held onto the boy fell to the floor with a sickening splat. "Hahh... I want to breath fresh air. Not this cramped air with mutts like you." Izuku shot a glare at the men who took a step back, terrified. "Let's open this place up a bit... shall we?" Izuku raised his arm and held it out straight. Slowly, he opened and closed his hand, before holding it, palm up, and raising two fingers up.
"Dismantle."

Shouta Aizawa was never one for team ups. That's why he kept himself to the underground scene of heroics. Every team up he did was done with another underground hero or a vigilante that he didn't feel like arresting. But tonight was possibly the worst team up he could have ever imagined.
Trailing the tired man was the huge figure of the number one hero himself, All Might. The Hero Public Safety Commission had informed him that he might be teaming up with a top ten hero due to his ongoing investigation, but All Might being the one to tag along did wonders for his stress. The, in his mind, height of irrational heroes, was not meant to be lurking in the dark, especially with the costume he had on at the moment. Stealing another glace and the shoddy paintjob, All Might had simply taken his normal costume and spray painted it black for the night. Evidently, it was done while the costume was off of his body, as the paint had cracks in it that revealed the bright red, yellow and blue that costume originally was.
"So, Eraserhead. You never told me what this investigation was about anyways. The HPSC also hadn't informed me." Aizawa, as much as he didn't like All Might, could appreciate the resentment hidden in his last statement. The HPSC was terrible with information handling between heroes. Sighing, he slowed his pace so he could speak to All Might side by side.
"Most of us don't know the origin of quirks, but its widely accepted that they showed up 200 years ago. Well they're much older than that. Truth is, they showed up around the Heian era, but fell dormant due to the massive wars of quirked people versus non quirked people. Among the quirked people was Ryomen Sukuna, who was touted as the strongest human during his time. So strong, that even though we have practically erased all history of quirks before 200 years ago, his legend remains in our culture." Aizawa glanced around the halls of the abandoned building. His night vision goggles helped him see the sorry state of the former school.
"Quite the lesson! I know all about history erasure, but what does that have to do with this building?" All Might questioned. Aizawa raised an eyebrow at the seemingly offhand comment, but decided to stay on track with keeping All Might informed.
"Right. Well legend has it that before Sukuna died, he imbued his quirk and soul into 20 separate fingers. And villains have been on a manhunt for them for ages. They supposedly give people tremendous amounts of power, but that has yet to be proven. The HPSC has their hands on one, but say their tests are 'inconclusive'." Aizawa grumbled at the implications. "I've been tailing these villains for a while and they know the location of one of the fingers. Looks like it was abandoned here. All we have to do is wait for them to exit the building and-" Aizawa's sentence was cut short when a tremor ran through the building, followed by screams of terror and Instantly, the two heroes leapt into action, making a beeline for the source of the noise.
Approaching the scene, there was a thick plume of smoke and dust that filled the hallway. All Might stepped forward and clapped his hands to remove the cloud with a gust of wind. The torrent that followed revealed a completely destroyed hallway. Splotches of puke green goop lined the wall, alongside droplets of, what looked to be blood. Looking away from the walls, they spotted three figures out in the grass. One was built of similar quality to the green goop on the wall while another was a man with a bug head. Aizawa recognized them instantly as the villains he was trailing. The third threw him for a loop however. Stood in between the two men was a middle schooler, his shirt torn off as he basked in the night air. It was faint but the two heroes could hear laughter coming from the boy.
The heroes took cautious steps forward, being wary of the glass crunching underneath their feet. All Might tensed his body as he looked over the scene. The laughing boy in the field dropped his hands as he turned to face the pros. Aizawa wasn't ready for what he saw.
Beneath the bed green hair was two sets of eyes. A normal pair and a pair diagonal to those. Alongside his face were black markings. A matching set on the sides of his face and one in the center of his forehead. They matched the markings that ran down his torso and arms. A feral smile crawled its way up the boys face that made Aizawa uneasy as he stared at it.
"Young man are you alright?! What happened to these two?" All Might stepped forward again, in front of Aizawa. Aizawa eyed the teen cautiously, trying to gauge the situation. The two villains were on the ground. There was pieces of the slime one on the wall with normal blood alongside it. And this boy standing in between them...
"All Might get back!" Aizawa prepared to grab his capture scarf as he activated his quirk on the boy. Staring right into the dual set of eyes, Aizawa felt his stomach flip with anxiety.
"You dare to look into my soul?" A voice echoed. Aizawa couldn't help but shudder and blink. When his eyes opened, he found himself, not in the destroyed hallway of a former school, but standing in a shallow pool of blood. In front of him was a mountain of skulls, adorned by large spiked bones that all curved inward towards the top of the pile. Sitting atop this throne of death was the boy from before, but clothed in a white kimono with black edges and a large black scar. Behind him was a menacing shrine like structure. It was a grotesque depiction of divinity, with open mouths and lolled tongues replacing the wall facets. Much like the pile of bone it situated itself on, the roof of the building contained bronze horns. The entire place seemed endless, surrounded by a ribcage like barrier around them.
"Know your place, scum. Never try to peer into me again." The boy said. His voice was filled with malice. Before Aizawa could respond however, the boy flicked his wrist and Aizawa felt his whole chest burn with pain.
Back in reality, All Might looked towards Aizawa just as his chest burst with blood. Shocked, All Might immediately grabbed his teammate and ripped open his costume. A massive wound had suddenly opened up in the mans chest, coming from his shoulder, all the way to the waistline. All Might immediately clicked on the transponder in Aizawa's waistband, requesting emergency aid to their location.
"That's what he gets for trying to invade my quirk." All Might turned his head to face the boy who was slowly sauntering over to their position. "Now then. You seem like your strong. Allow me to let loose for a while." Just like with Aizawa, All Might hadn't been given a second to respond. The boy jumped forward and grabbed All Might's face with speed he hadn't expected. They flew backwards, further into the school. Eventually, All Might released himself from the shockingly strong grasp of the middle schooler and stopped his momentum.
"I advise you don't try to fight me young man. I don't want to hurt you, but if you continue, this will not end well for you!" All Might put his arms up as the bot simply brushed himself.
"What a disappointment. Caring for this boys health." He said. The statement confused All Might but he kept his guard up. "Well let's see how you deal with this." Raising his arm up once more, he flicked his wrist at All Might. "Cleave!"
All Might could hardly react to the wave of destruction that was sent his way. He felt it more than he saw it. He inspected his forearms and notice small cuts in both of them, but nothing major. The boy laughed as he looked on as well.
"Well well... Looks like you're durable enough. I guess its time to..." The boy groaned and grabbed hold of his head. "W-what the..!" Faintly, as little as All Might could see it surrounded by the dark, the lines on the boys body faded away. "What is... happening... ngh..." As soon as he finished talking, the boy slumped over, still standing. The additional eyes also closed, leaving just their outline as evidence they were open in the first place. For a brief moment, the world stood still, All Might alongside it. Then, the boy's head shot up as he gasped for air.
"Wh-where am I?! What's going on?! Am I-" He looked around frantically before his sight landed on All Might. Immediately, the boy squealed with excitement. "ALL MIGHT!" The twist in personality threw All Might for a loop as he held his hand out.
"Do not approach me young man. Tell me who you are right now." The boy flinched as took a step backwards.
"M-my name is Izuku Midoriya. What happened?" All Might could tell with his battle hardened instincts that the boy in front of him was of zero threat. Lowering his arms, All Might knew he had a job present.
"Young Midoriya, as of now you are being detained. I will explain in due time but there is an injured hero that needs attending to. Please do not take this personally. I just need to figure out what's going on." All Might approached Midoriya timidly. The teen stood still as the hero approached, his mind racing with negative thoughts.
'Why is All Might detaining me? Did I do something? Did those villains say I was apart of their scheme?' Thinking about those villains let Izuku remember the whole reason he was here in the first place. 'The finger! I ate it but what happened?! I don't remember a thing other than being pinned against the wall...'
"Tell me brat, how were you able to suppress me back into your body?" Izuku froze as a new voice entered his ears. He looked towards All Might, who had just finished cuffing him, hoping he could help him answer, but he seemed to have not heard it. "Of course he can't hear me. I am speaking from directly inside your body."
'W-who... Ryomen Sukuna..?' Izuku shuddered at the thought as he was escorted by All Might to the exterior of the building.
"Of course." Sukuna replied. "It's best not to keep me waiting on an answer, nor do I like repeating myself."
'W-well I'm not entirely sure, Sukuna sir...' Izuku could feel the amusement from within Sukuna form.
"Well at least you recognize your place in the pecking order. No matter. I will simply explore your memories and get myself caught up on recent history. Don't bother me." As if a flip had switched, Izuku could no longer feel Sukuna's overbearing presence from within his body. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he looked around the field in front of him. He could see the lights of ambulances from in front of the school shining over the roof of the building.
A moment later, All Might walked out of the building, carrying Eraserhead in his arms. He had a strained look on his face and kept taking glances at Izuku, who looked equally as conflicted. Clearing his throat, All Might was ready to begin his on-field questioning.
"Can you explain what happened with those villains before we showed up, young Midoriya?" His booming voice had an edge to it. The forced calm was unnerving and put Izuku on edge.
"M-my friends were looking for the schools cursed object in this building." Izuku started, trying to keep his head level as he replayed the events in his head. "But we got separated and the villains found my friends with the box. They said that the cursed object was actually a finger of... R-Ryomen Sukuna..." Saying it out loud, Izuku felt a little silly. It was as if he was trying to weave a fictional tale to his idol, but the man simply nodded, motioning for Izuku to continue. "W-well they said that they'd have to k-kill my f-friends because their boss didn't want witnesses. So I took the box from them and ran. B-but they cornered me and I decided to... e-eat the finger." Izuku looked away, embarrassed. All Might, meanwhile, felt a small feeling of nostalgia. Amused at his own memories for long enough, he shuffled closer to the sitting boy and spoke.
"Maybe I shouldn't tell you the details, but just know that your story makes sense." Izuku looked up, shocked at what All Might was confiding in him. "My partner here explained it to me before we got to you, but if he believes that these remnants of Ryomen Sukuna are dangerous, then I have to trust his judgement."
"S-so you don't think I'm crazy?!" Izuku asked excitedly.
"Of course not! I could sense it the moment you showed up. But this raises another question. What caused you to go wild?" Izuku felt a rush of adrenaline hit his limbs.
"W-wild? What do you mean?"
"Well you attacked not only my partner here, but me as well. And from the looks of things, you also attacked those villains that were cornering you, but that's more reasonable." Izuku felt cold all over. It was a nauseating feeling, having the heated blood filled with adrenaline mix with the frigid fear struck blood.
"I-I did that?" Izuku was horrified. The blood that stained the other heroes scarf and costume was extreme.
"Your quirk is mighty powerful. Whatever made you lose control didn't dampen your-"
"I'm quirkless, All Might. That couldn't have been me." Izuku begrudgingly admitted. All Might turned his head incredibly fast to face the boy. His hollow eyes bore straight into Izuku's body, as if trying to snuff out any trace of a lie through sheer presence alone. When not a trace could be found, All Might pulled back and started murmuring to himself. Before he could speak up however, a team of medical workers and HPSC members made themselves known. Handing off Aizawa, All Might was pulled aside by a man in a suit, no doubt the highest ranking HPSC executive present at the moment.
"I find it hard to believe that a team of weaselly villains like that could take down Eraserhead, much less in your presence, All Might." The suit said. If it was an attempt to dig at All Might's prowess, it had little effect.
"Those villains could never catch that man off guard." All Might frowned at the thought of the villains. "While I remember, tell those medics to prepare body bags." The suited man jolted slightly.
"How did..?" He asked nervously.
"The boy in handcuffs did it." All Might said, nudging his head towards the middle schooler. The suit took a passing glace as to not arouse suspicion. "But he says he didn't do it. Claims he's quirkless too."
"And you think that's bull?"
"No." All Might said confidently. He thought back to the moment the boys personality switched. "Not at all. Someone like him could never lie. Especially with what he told me. After he ate the finger, he says he-"
"HE DID WHAT?!" All Might looked at the man with surprise. It was unlike an HPSC member to lose their cool this fast. The other suited men that accompanied made a brisk jog towards the hero and executive, concern etched in all of their faces.
"He... ate the finger? I'm still not totally sure what-" Cut off once again, the squadron of HPSC members converged on the cuffed teenager. Quirks at the ready, two members pinned him to the ground, while two more stood guard, ready to strike at a moments notice. The executive mumbled into his phone before facing All Might.
"The fact that he's not dead means there's something special about him." The suit said swiftly. "Komura, any I.D on the kid?" One of the men pinning Izuku down threw a wallet towards his boss. He opened it and studied it for a brief moment.
"W-what's going on All Might?!" Izuku asked with panic in his voice.
"Izuku Midoriya, under the authority of the Hero Public Safety Commission, you are under arrest and will be sent for execution for acting as the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna!"

End Notes
spooky isn't it?
My absence on Views of Another is partially intentional. I gave myself a little break, but when I went back to writing, FF started fucking with my layout and wouldn't properly format anything, so I gave up after a week of trying different fixes. Switched browsers and that turned out to be my saving grace. So note to anyone wanting to write, don't use Edge.
If it wasn't obvious from my pfp, I like JJK. And what kind of writer would I be if I didn't do a mild crossover. No Gojo, no Yuji, no Cursed Techniques. I will adapt everything to make sense in a world of quirks instead of cursed energy. I've been rereading JJK and keeping up with every leak. Kenjaku 2024 y'know? Takaba Stocks are down but he'll come back I swear. Anyways. This is just a small project that I really wanted to get down on electronic paper. As always, read and review.
Have a good day!
and Happy Halloween!
