158. A Beary-tale

Summary: Jack's mission to the costume party was successful, but he's developed a slight problem…

A/N: Still no new prompt, so everything is getting a sequel. This is my final drabble for the last prompt because the new one is up!

I love Janto: It really is. Owen's a bit slow sometimes, but he does value Tosh's friendship so he's trying to do better.

Now, either I got a lot of new Guest reviewers, or all my regular reviewers posted reviews while not being logged in, so, replies - try to pick the reply to your review out of these!

Guest 1: Thank you! Owen may be a jerk most of the time, but he has his moments. I like to think he's starting to open up his heart a bit at last.

Guest 2: Teddy bears are good for a lot of things, but there are times when a hug from a friend is much more comforting. I think Owen needed the hug as much as Tosh did. Thank you!

Guest 3: Thank you! Cute and fluffy is what I write most, which is why timelordshines asked me to write this sequel to her drabble.

Guest 4: Thank you! I am inordinately fond of Teddy Bears (does it show?), so this prompt really inspired me. Owen can be sweet, when he makes the effort. He just tends to be a bit thoughtless usually.

"Calm down, Jack." Ianto attempted to soothe his agitated lover. "Tosh assures me it's not the costume; we'll have you back to normal as soon as she figures out the tech you brought back."

"Calm down? I'm a BEAR, Ianto! Bad enough I had to dress as one, but now I'm a walking, talking TEDDY BEAR! Why would I calm down?"

Jack waved his furry arms about, accidentally knocking Ianto over.

"Ow!"

"Sorry." He bent to help Ianto up and… "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr."

"You growl when you bend over!" sniggered Owen.

Bear-Jack glared.

"Next person who giggles is fired!"

Silence.

"That's better."
