Standing on the desk of the main airship, a woman glared at the island with nothing but hate in her eyes as she saw her armada's fire intercepted by translucent swords flying across the sky like shooting stars.

"What is going on?! I want explanations right away! What happened to our forces on Lumacie?!"

"We have lost contact with our teams, Your Excellency Fressia! According to the last message we received, it seems that they were attacked by locals or skyfarers!"

"And what about those things?!" She shouted, pointing at the swords that continued to intercept their attacks on the island.

"We have absolutely no ideas!"

Hearing this, she clenched her fists hard enough to draw blood out of her palms.

'Why is this happening?! Until now, my plans have gone perfectly. I managed to capture the doll and with the girl in blue pursuing us, I would have all the keys in my possession to awaken Akasha! I just had to lure her and that cursed crew to Yggdrasil's location and make them fight each other after corrupting that beast with the dark essence, then kidnap the girl once they are weakened from the fight! Just a little more and I would have succeeded in purifying the world of those tainted beasts and those damned Astrals!'

Within the island were ancient ruins that were built by the Astrals during their war against the Sky World and, sealed deep inside it, was laying the Primal Beast Akasha who possesses the ability to distort and interfere with history, being able to rewrite it, both the past, which would also affect the present, and the future.

"Who is it? Who dares interfere with my plans?!" The woman, Fressia, screamed at the sky with nothing but fury in her tone, feeling nothing but anger for the being who interfered with her plans when she was so close to realize them. And then she noticed Kay floating in the sky above them, watching them with several translucent swords by his side.

Then with a gesture of his hand, she saw the swords flying at one of the airships quickly taking it down as they all pierced the balloon, the engine and parts of the deck.

"These swords... It must be him... Take up your guns, I want that brat shot down right now!"

"Yes, your Excellency!"

Obeying her orders, the troops present on the desk all armed themselves up before they tried to shoot Kay down, but none of their shots managed to hit him as they either missed him or were blocked by a golden sword that appeared out of thin air in his hand.

"Use the cannons!" Seeing that nothing worked, she shouted before the ship's cannons aimed for Kay and shot, however, she saw the translucent swords that took down one of her armada's airships flying back to his side before they moved again, quickly taking down the shells approaching him. Then, she frowned when she saw the swords taking down another one of her airships.

"This can't be happening... No, it's not over yet. I'm willing to do anything as long as I can achieve my plan... even if it means using those damned beasts!" Freesia screamed once more as she held her right hand to the empty space behind her.

"Come, Leviathan! O' Primal beast, incarnation of the deep waters! Bow before my prowess! Take form her and now, use the wretched power of the Astrals to vanquish my foes!"

As if responding to her call, a gigantic blue serpent appeared above her ship and before it could do anything, Freesia took out a dark crystal from her pocket and exposed it in the direction of the Primal beast, making it roar in pain as it slowly changed color, its blue scales becoming red.

"Now, you fool beast, it's time for you to take that insect down!"

Following her words, Leviathan set his eyes on Kay who frowned before he roared in fury, then suddenly began shooting a multitude of water beams at him. But none of them touched him as he quickly dodged them, swiftly flying through the sky.

Then, with a snap of his fingers, a large amount of translucent swords appeared out of nowhere surrounding the sea serpent, before they all closed in on Kay's gesture and punctured its skin, causing Leviathan to roar in pain. But then, he managed to pluck out the swords out of his body by squirming it, making Kay frown before he blinked in surprise when he saw the wounds being healed at high speed.

"It looks like I won't be able to defeat him that way... Alright, I haven't got the chance to use it in a real battle but I have no choice." He said as he took a stance with his golden sword before he charged at Leviathan, evading the water blasts the beast sent at him.

And once he was near it, he slashed the beast with his sword and, to Freesia's shock, the wound didn't heal at all.

"Impossible! Primal Beasts possess the ability to automatically regenerate themselves... Don't tell me it's that golden sword!" She exclaimed, looking at Kay who continued to cut Leviathan's entire body, the wounds building up across its long body at high speed as they couldn't heal.

"The Seven-Star Sword... even if it hasn't unleashed its true potential, it's still quite useful." Kay muttered before he evaded a swipe from Leviathan's tail before he widened his eyes when a large amount of water started to gather around the sea serpent, slowly forming a tide before it grew big enough to swallow the entire island.

"You can't be serious..." Kay muttered as he looked at the forming tidal wave before he flew back to the island and, once he set his foot on the ground, he grabbed the Seven-Star Sword with his two hands, pouring every last of his Magical Energy in his sword.

'Can I really take him down before he throws this thing at us?' He couldn't help but to feel a bit anxious, however, he shook his head and focused on his task at hand.

'If I don't do it, then the island will be submerged. Even if it doesn't work, I have to do it.'

Then, just as he felt he poured everything he had left in his sword, he gasped in surprise when he felt something warm enveloping him, invigorating him as he felt his stamina and Magical Energy return to him at full strength.

"This is..."

""

Hearing a familiar chime-like sound, Kay let out a smile as he took a stance with his sword, which was soon coated in a brown and earthly aura.

"Thank you, Yggdrasil. With this, I feel like I can do it. Alright, it's do or die now. Connection to Bahamut, activate..."

Just as he muttered the last part, Kay's body was suddenly engulfed in a blue aura, creating a crater from the sheer pressure of it, and his hair and eyes turning blue, and the energy that was released by the Seven-Star Sword quintupled in both size as it created a blue torrent of energy surrounding Kay.

Witnessing that from her ship, Freesia shivered before she barked out an order to her troops.

"Retreat now! Quick!"

"But your Excellency! What about our comrades still on Lumacie?!"

"Who cares about them?! I don't care how many useless good-for-nothings I lose! They are expendables! Unless you want to die, obey my orders!" 'As long as that doll and I remain safe, my plans won't end!'

"Guh...!"

Gritting his teeth, the trooper obeyed his order as he proceeded to maneuver the airship and quickly retreat from the area, along with the rest of the armada, just as Leviathan sent the tidal wave towards Lumacie. Seeing this, Kay swung his sword upward with a cry, unleashing all the Magical Energy he poured into his blade in a single attack. And then, the dark sky shone bright as an immense crescent beam of energy coated with a brown light cut through both the tidal wave and Leviathan's body cutting it in two.

As he let out a final roar, the sea serpent quickly disappeared from its place, as if it were an illusion. Meanwhile, Kay fell on his knees, panting while covered in sweats, as he reverted to his original appearance.

"It looks like I need to train harder..." He muttered before he went back to Yggdrasil's side where he could sense Merlin and Artoria's presence, both of them safe and sound from their encounters with the empire's soldiers.

"Thank you for healing us, Yggdrasil. I appreciate it." I said to the Primal Beast who gave me a smile as she tended to my wounds, Artoria and Merlin standing by my side as they were healed by her before me.

"Brother, do you think they will come back?"

"Perhaps. I'm not entirely sure of their motives, but if it's about subduing Primal Beasts under their control, maybe they went after another one in another island."

"Hey, Kay. I'm sensing a group of people approaching us..." I heard Merlin speak up, making me perk as I turned in the direction she was looking at.

"Are they soldiers?" Artoria asked as she stood next to my side, her hand on her sword's handle, but Merlin shook her head.

"No... but they seems like to be quite the interesting bunch." I blinked in surprise at her words, seeing her smile from the corner of my eyes. Then I saw the mentioned group coming to our location from the forest and blinked in surprise recognizing them as soon as I laid eyes on them.

""You are..."" I muttered under my breath and found myself surprised as the person I recognized as this world's female main protagonist who was nicknamed as the "Whale" by the fandom muttered the same words as me.

What I didn't know at that time is that the girls and I would spend several months by her side before going back to our original world.
