There was now an eerie silence in the Chaldea control room as most of the staff members all looked awkwardly at Romani who was passed out in his seat, foam coming out of his mouth.

"Shouldn't we do something about him?"

"Call the doctor?"

"He's the doctor..."

"Nightingale?"

"I... don't believe she'll be able to nurse him. If anything, I'm sure she'll just pluck his eyes out, saying that without them, he won't suffer anymore."

While the staff discussed what to do with the now fainted man, the knights were all frozen on their feet, completely silent as they were busy taking in what was just displayed on the monitor.

"Is... is that really sir Kay?" Bedivere was the first one to speak up, his wide eyes still fixed on the image.

"There's no way it's that silver-tongued bastard! Didn't you see what he just did?! He could never do something that scale!"

"If you don't mind asking, how strong is Sir Kay compared to you all?" Mash asked the knights, a bit concerned about their reactions upon seeing Kay's attack.

In her free time after the resolution of the Sixth Singularity, she took up reading stories about the Arthurian myth in order to research more about them, especially after knowing that Galahad was the Heroic Spirit that resided in her body.

And as far as he knew, Kay was a man whose strength varied greatly depending on the books. The earliest tales would describe him as the strongest knight of Arthur with a might similar to Cú Chulainn. Meanwhile, the later stories would instead portray him as a sarcastic and hot-headed jerk, famous for his sharp tongue and whose main role in the story is to be a foil to the other new knights.

"It would be fair to say that Sir Kay was a strong knight, however, he wasn't as good as us." Lancelot started to say as he glanced at Gawain who nodded in affirmation, then he turned to Artoria who was still frozen in place, her eyes not straying from the young man claiming to be her foster brother.

"But then, he was the only person our king completely trusted when it came to guarding her back or being entrusted with the rear guard of our army during our campaigns."

"I see... Then why is everybody reacting like this?"

"The fact is that Sir Kay has never displayed such abilities in his life." Lancelot said, much to Mash's surprise and the other staff members who were paying attention to their discussions.

"In fact, it's not the only thing different. That armor of his wasn't something he wore in his life as he used to wear a silver armor, draped in a red mantle. Also, there is that person..."

"Anyway, we must warn Master to be wary of that guy right now! He's just too dangerous!" Mordred yelled as if in panic, which earned the attention of the other knights who narrowed their eyes at her current behavior.

"What do you mean by that, Sir Mordred?" Tristan asked, knowing how proud the Knight of Betrayal was, which made him a little curious as to what was making him so agitated.

"That bastard... My guts are just telling... no, they are screaming at me to stay away from that guy... There is something absolutely wrong about him..." She muttered as she clenched her fists hard, hoping to stop them from shivering, much to her frustration while her statement caused the other knights and the onlookers to fall silent.

All people present in the room knew from their past experiences, be it in life or during the fourth singularity, that Mordred was an individual who obeyed her sharp instincts, so while they took it with a grain of salt, they still believed her words as they were likely to be true.

"Then, is it possible that this person is an imposter?" Mash decided to ask as she turned to the monitor, displaying Ritsuka looking up at the duo.

"No, that person is Kay, I'm sure of it."

"Eh?" Mash exclaimed in surprise when she heard Artoria suddenly answer her question, causing her to look at the king to see her let out a warm smile, a hand over her chest.

"He may look slightly different from what I remember and possess a kind of power he never had in life... but my soul, my entire being, is telling me that this person is my big brother."

Now faced with Artoria's words, they were even more lost than they already were, causing them to look at each other in confusion over this ordeal.

"No matter whatever the case is, this is no mistake to say that he's a bunch of mysteries."

"Da Vinci!" Mash said, happy to see the genius enter the command room, as she saw her approach Romani and let out a sigh.

"Oh goodness. How pathetic it must be to be knocked out by that... In any case, the fact that this Kay is different from the man our dear knights know is something to be wary of. And I could say the same for that woman too..." She said as she looked at the floating woman displayed on the screen.

"She called herself Merlin, but is it really true?"

"Merlin was a shapeshifter, so I'm not too sure. As an incubus, he was quite skilled with illusions, so he could transform into various shapes. There was even a case where he had changed into the shape of a beast whose insides are not human. I'm not even certain if the appearance he usually displayed is his real appearance. However, this is the first time I've ever seen this." Artoria said as she looked with a frown at the smiling woman, feeling a bit disconcerted by her appearance.

"She's beautiful..."

"She got a nice pair of breast..."

"Her long legs are quite elegant..."

"Stop ogling at her, you three stooges!"

"So, we got two bundles of mysteries in front of us… I'll take command from now on. Mash, I want you to support Ritsuka. Silvia, please monitor Ritsuka's condition, we never know what can happen to her. Meuniere, take that idiot to Nightingale. King Arthur and the others, I'm counting on all of you to see if there are any other irregularities you see."

[Yes, ma'am!]

"Alright, let's just hope I can make this work."

At the same moment, Ritsuka gulped her own saliva in nervousness as she was being stared down by her rescuers.

"So, young lady, may you tell us what you are doing all here alone? And those clothes of yours, they are unlike anything I've seen before on the market, are you a foreigner?"

"Uh... Something like that." She nervously said, not wanting to get on his bad side after witnessing the amount of destruction he unleashed in a single moment.

"You don't have to be on your guard, it's not like I will hurt you or anything." She was a bit surprised when she felt a warm hand placed itself on the top of her head, rubbing it softly.

But then, she flinched when she felt her skirt being flipped from behind her, causing her to turn with a blush only to see the woman giving her a bright smile.

"Kay, they're white!" She proudly said before she yelped in pain, having received a flick on the head from her companion.

"Don't just sexually harass her like that, Merlin. Ah, please forgive the lady here. She's a bit crazy in the head, so don't mind her too much."

"Ah, sure..." She didn't know what to say, but she just accepted his words and nodded away. Then, she turned to the woman named Merlin, a little suspicious of his true identity when she learned from Artoria that Merlin was supposed to be a man.

'What should I do?' She questioned herself, not entirely sure of her next course of action. And before she could decide, her saving grace appeared as a projection appeared next to her.

[Greetings, Kay and Merlin, I hope I'm not disturbing the both of you in bullying our precious girl?]

"Merlin, is it just me or I'm suddenly seeing a transparent woman in front of me?"

"Don't worry, dear, you're not hallucinating."

"Da Vinci!"

[I'll introduce myself, I'm the super genius and beautiful all-around Leonardo Da Vinci. I'm sure that there is a lot you wish to talk about and I assure you, you aren't the only ones. If you don't mind, I would like to discuss with both of you concerning the state of the country.]

Ritsuka blinked her eyes for a second, a bit bewildered by the proposition.

'Da Vinci, this is too blunt... There's no way they would listen to you if you asked them like that with no explanations!' She shouted in her mind, a little annoyed by the eccentricities of their local genius, before she shyly looked up to the pair, seeing them staring at each other for a few seconds as if they were having a secret conversation.

"We don't mind, strange lady. So, what do you want to talk about?" Kay finally said a smirk on his face, making Ritsuka let out a breath of relief.

'I...guess they must share the same type of eccentricity.'
