Title: Watching The Skies – Sequel to 'An Unforgettable Sight'
Author: badly-knitted
Characters: Jack, Ianto
Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 300 at tw100
Spoilers: None.
Summary: Ianto and Jack enjoy their romantic interlude.
Disclaimer: I don't own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: A second fill for the square Curtain/Firmament because I thought there should be a bit of romance.
I love Janto: Sometimes I wonder if even Jack realises how much work Ianto does for the team. He's so unobtrusive yet efficient. Of course, I also wonder how Torchwood managed to operate before Ianto Jones came along - without him they'd be buried in rubbish, would never be able to find anything and would probably starve to death. Torchwood without Ianto doesn't bear thinking about!
A Shy Anon: It might take a while as I'm currently writing four other fics and yours is still in the planning stages, gathering ideas and working out the main plot points, but I'll get there. Just need to clear out a couple of the ones that are in progress so I have more time to devote to it. The plot bunnies are rampant at the moment, lol!
DRABBLE PROMPTS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED - I WANT TO TRY TO WRITE ANOTHER 30 DRABBLES BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. I KNOW, IT'S INSANE, BUT IF I CAN THAT WOULD MAKE 200 WRITTEN THIS YEAR ALONE. I ONLY PLANNED ON WRITING 100, BUT I SHOT PAST THAT TARGET MONTHS AGO, SO I'M BEING OVERAMBITIOUS, LOL!

Stretched out on the SUV's bonnet, leaning against the windscreen, Jack and Ianto looked to the heavens, taking in the splendour of the Aurora Borealis, one of the most captivating spectacles earth had to offer.
As curtains of light danced across the sky, Jack tightened his arm around Ianto's shoulders.
"I was hoping we'd be lucky enough to see this while we were here," he admitted softly, "I wanted to share it with you."
Ianto squeezed his hand.
"It's breathtaking, Jack, thank you."
"Guess I can do romantic dates when I try," Jack teased.
"Never doubted it for a second."
