A/N: Sorry this was slightly later than I wanted. As I said I won't have much time on the computer most days for the foreseeable future. Also, I wrote out the next Young Justice Ch as that's on a schedule and I would like to keep it on it. Plus I did take a break from writing as we all need that from time to time.
Chapter X.
Last Time.
"You want to know why I despise the White Fang? It's because they're a bunch of liars, thieves, and murderers!"
Blake then stood up at that. "Well, maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!" Silence drops down as a surprised Weiss backs away slowly, and Blake realizes her mistake as she looks around at her teammates before bolting for the door, running past Naruto.
"Blake, wait! Come back!"
Blake runs outside and arrives at a statue of an armored man with a sword and a hooded woman wielding an ax on an outcropping, staring at the Beowolf under the stone heroes in particular. She closes her eyes and slowly lifts her arms to her bow and pulls the string to release the bow from her hair. She wipes away a tear as the moonlight reveals her black Faunus cat ears.
"You would look better without the bow."
Turning, she saw Naruto was behind her smiling.
Now.
Naruto, And Blake.
The duo sat at a table sipping tea after a couple of days from first finding her. "Look, I know you ain't ready to talk to the others. But you do need to open up."
"Is she speaking?"
Naruto looked to see Sun walking up, holding a teacup in his tail. "Nearly two days and you've given us is nothing but small talk and weird looks!" Blake just looks at him sternly gives Sun a firm look. "Yeah, like that."
"Are you familiar with the White Fang?" Blake asked the two.
"Of course! I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them. Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks, if you ask me!"
"Didn't always start like that."
The two looked at Naruto who crossed his arms. "I know they started as a peaceful organization to protest how Faunus are treated. I believe the newest leader started the attacking when taking over."
Blake takes a sip of her tea before sighing. "I was once a member of the White Fang."
"You were a member of the White Fang?!" Sun blurted out while couching on his drink.
"That's right. I was a member for most of my life, actually. You could almost say I was born into it… Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between Humans and the Faunus. Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there." Blake explained as she dropped her cup before continuing.
"I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott. I actually thought we were making a difference. But I was just a youthful optimist. Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place. A new leader, with a new way of thinking. Suddenly, our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks."
"We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labor. And the worst part was, it was working. We were being treated as equals. But not out of respect... Out of fear. So, I left. I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence, and instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a Huntress. So here I am a criminal hiding in plain view, all with the help of a little black bow."
Naruto and Sun noticed her bow move a little. "Your team will understand. I mean Weiss was just fed that crap from her father but she likes you." Naruto said before pulling his scroll out.
City.
"Blaaaake!"
"Blaaaake!"
Ruby and Yang yelled out with Weiss before Haru ran up. "I just got a message from Naruto, he's with Blake. Says she just needs time to sort everything out."
"Oh! That's good." Ruby spoke before they turned to leave. And saw Penny was behind them. "Penny! Where did you come from!?"
"Hey, guys! What are you up to?" Penny asked with a salute.
"Uhh..."
"We were looking for our friend Blake. But Naruto just gave-!" Yang was then interrupted by Penny.
"Ooooh, you mean the Faunus girl!" Penny smiled as Ruby, Weiss, and Yang stared at her.
"Wait, how did you know that?" Ruby asked her having Penny point at her head.
"Uhh, the cat ears?"
"What cat ears? She wears a... booooowww…" Yang trailed off realizing what the bow was for as her sister looked down.
"She does like tuna a lot..."
"So, where is she?" Penny asked them before Haru spoke up.
"Somewhere with Naruto. Said she needs time to herself."
Naruto, Blake, And Sun.
Naruto, Sun, and Blake are walking down an alley as Sun has his hands behind his head. "So, what's the plan now?"
"I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies. They've never needed that much Dust before."
"What if they did?" Sun spoke getting the two's attention. "I mean... The only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go to if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?"
"The only thing is, I've no idea where that would be," Blake said as they got to the street where Naruto's motorcycle is.
"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas."
"How huge?" Blake asked looking over.
"Huge. Big Schnee Company freighter."
"You're sure?"
"If you guys are sure about this."
The Faunus' looked at Naruto as he got on his bike. "I won't stop ya. Just be careful Blake I don't want anything to happen to you."
"What about me?"
"… Sure," Naruto replied to Sun before starting his bike and drove off.
Night.
(A/N: This, until Ruby comes in, is canon feel free to skip.)
Later that night, Blake was looking at the shipment from a rooftop before hearing Sun.
"Did I miss anything?"
Blake looked up as Sun drops down to her right with green apples in his arms. "Not really. They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there."
"Cool," Sun spoke before holding out one of the green apples in his arms. "I stole you some food!"
"Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?"
"Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun defended himself having Blake give a glare. "OK, too soon!"
Suddenly, the winds blows all around them, and they look up to see a Bullhead's searchlights flashing around for a landing spot, descending in the middle of the cargo containers and extending a ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.
"Oh no…" Blake spoke as she got up on her knees.
"Is that them?"
Blake stares at the bloody wolf on the back of the man's outfit before sighing. "Yes... It's them."
"You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?" Sun asked Blake who was looking at the scene sadly as the group started getting the crates.
"No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right." She replied before hearing a voice.
"Hey!"
They turned to see Roman walking out of the aircraft. "What's the holdup!? We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?"
"This isn't right. The White Fang would never work with a Human. Especially not one like that." Blake said as she stands up and unsheathes the Katana of Gambol Shroud before walking off the edge of the roof.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
Blake falls to the ground in a crouch, then continues on to hide behind one of the containers, peeking around the corner to see Roman berate a White Fang member holding a coil of rope. "No, you idiot! This isn't a leash!" Roman yelled looking around. Suddenly, Blake appears behind him with her blade at his throat. "What the- Oh, for f-"
"Nobody move! The White Fang soldiers ready their guns and equip their swords in response."
"Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady." Roman turned to look at her.
As the White Fang closes in on her, Blake uses her free hand to go for her bow and remove it, causing the ribbon to fall away as her Faunus ears are shown to the world. "Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?"
The White Fang members lower their weapons a little at this development when Roman laughs. "Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?"
"What are you talking about?" Blake asked looking at Roman.
"The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!"
"Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation."
Suddenly, the air is filled with more turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup. "I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation…"
Two more Bullheads start hovering above the heist, and as Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion.
BOOM!
Blake, dazed but relatively unhurt on the ground, quickly rolls and runs out of the way of Roman's continued attacks, flaming missiles destroying cargo behind her as she flips and uses her semblance to dodge then retreats behind more containers. "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty…" Roman then trailed as a banana peel fell on his head.
"Whoo-hoo!"
Sun leaps from the container above Roman and drops down on the criminal's face feet-first, rolling up and readying himself to fight. "Leave her alone!"
The Bullheads open to let more White Fang members out, standing by Roman as he gets up and surrounding Sun. "You are not the brightest banana in the bunch, are you, kid?"
The White Fang then charges at the monkey Faunus, but he manages to dodge slashes and get some of the soldiers with his fists and kicks until he rolls out of the way of one's sword. "Ha-Ha!"
Pulling out a collapsible red staff. He quickly uses this to beat down on each opponent that nears him, felling each one in a single flaming blow when he twirls it around, even creating a scorching shock-wave to beat the last of them. Blake peers around the corner of the container to watch Sun jump around and beat another White Fang soldier, landing on his back and causing him to fly over toward Roman's head.
The crime boss ducks then growls in annoyance and aims his cane at Sun, firing a shot that he defends himself from just when Blake leaps into the action. "Blake: He's mine!"
Blake goes in close and becomes a blur of afterimages as she slashes both blades at Roman, who backs away and deflects each blow with his cane. Blake continues to dash, hop over, and slide around Roman to try and hit him. Finally landing a blow after using her Semblance but he quickly recovers, deflecting several more attacks before attempting to punch her in the face. Only to hit a clone as she flips away. The two clash weapons again, then Torchwick jabs her in the side.
He lands a few more hits on Blake until one final beating to the head with his cane causes her to go down. Just as Roman deals with one opponent, Sun appears right behind her. Vaulting over Blake he kicks Roman in the chest and disconnects his staff into two spinning circles of flame-firing shotgun nunchucks before becoming twin arcs of offense again.
Sun swings each gun at Roman while firing at him, but Roman manages to defend himself against every bullet and hit until a millisecond-long pause allows Blake to get a slash in and knock him back. On his back, Roman notices a container hanging by a crane right above the two, and gets up to fire his cane at its supports.
Blake leaps behind it, but Sun barely misses when he jumps forward, ending up right below the nozzle of Roman's cane. Just as he's about to fire, his and Sun's attention is drawn to a voice.
"BASTARD!"
They looked to see Naruto landing on his motorcycle before Natsu jumped off having his vest open up revealing scales on his ribs.
"Didn't miss the party did we?" Natsu asked bringing up his fists and cocking Ignis scales.
Naruto got off his bike and pulled his revolvers up and spun them. "Well, the heroes always show up late."
Naruto then turned and shot a man that tried to attack from behind before having his guns turn into their knives and clashed with another. Natsu punched another man before tuning to uppercut another sending him into the air having Naruto jump in the air and kicked at him having a blade of air shoot out and hits the man in his chest. (1.)
Naruto shot at several more men by pulling the trigger in his ring on his knives and kicked the man into Natsu who punched him several times and kicked him away.
Hearing an engine, Naruto saw three Bullhead's flying to them. Holstering his guns, he pulled Fox Bolt out and quickly shot the three windshields and hit the pilots having the aircraft's crash.
"These kids just keep getting weirder…" Roman mused as he ran to one of the grounded crafts, closed the door, and left.
Later, a handful of police cars are at the docks, where Naruto, Blake, Sun, and Natsu are sitting on boxes. "You're a Faunus?" Blake asked Natsu who nodded.
"His scales are usually hidden by his clothes," Naruto spoke up as Fox Bolt was propped by him. "Wouldn't stop annoying me about helping you until I brought him here due to having a bike."
"While I'm not ashamed of being a Faunus, I know I can avoid a headache by not bringing it up," Natsu spoke up arms crossed.
Suddenly, Weiss, Yang, and Ruby came over after hearing police while eating at a restaurant. "Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the-!" Blake stopped as Weiss interrupted her.
"Stop! Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you...? Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours, I've decided… "I don't care."
"You don't care?" Blake asked having the heiress nod.
"You said you're not one of them anymore, right?"
"No, I-I haven't been since I was younger-"
Weiss then raised a finger stopping Blake once more. "Ah-bahp-bahp-bahp! I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something this big comes up... You'll come to your teammates. And not some…" She trailed looking at Sun behind Blake. "Someone else."
"Of course." Blake nodded looking at the others
"Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!" Ruby yelled out arms raised in the air.
Weiss then points at Sun before speaking. "I'm still not quite sure about how I feel about you!"
Beacon.
Meanwhile, Ozpin is seen holding a Scroll showing a "LIVE FEED" of the teens at the docks. He closes the video and opens up a communication.
Qrow.
Team:_
MSG: QUEEN HAS PAWNS.
"Hmmm…" He trailed off before looking out the window.
Unknown Location.
Roman walks into a large warehouse with a shadowy interior. He goes over to a table and places down a case of mysterious contents, sighing in tiredness.
"How very disappointing, Roman."
Roman turns around suddenly when he hears the voice. "Whoa! Hehe... I wasn't expecting to see you guys so soon..."
He sees three figures in the dark, two women, one man before the woman in the middle's eyes glow yellow.
"Hey! You were the ones who suggested working with those stupid mutts from the White Fang." He said having the woman chuckle.
"And you will continue to do so." She said as she summons a fireball in her hand and stepped out of the darkness with her two companions. "We have big plans for you, Roman. All we ask is... A little cooperation."

Next to be updated will be Shinobi on Board which will also most likely be a little later to update as I'm going to work on Naruto on Board to get to 3k words see what episode I stop at then update that story on the last week when the anime gets 100 episodes ahead (If I end the Ch at 916 then I'll update the month the anime gets to 1,016)
