A/N: Sorry there was no drabble yesterday, my birthday got in the way and I ran out of time. Unlike Ianto.

My first drabble for the new prompt. I'm hoping to write at least one more, i just need to think of an idea...

.

I love Janto: Yeah, sorry for the sad =(

It will take Ianto some time to put his life back together, but Jack will do whatever he can to help. Thank you.

.

Guest: It's a hard thing for Ianto to realise, but he needs to accept the truth so he can move forward with his life. Thank you.

So was I, I really didn't believe they'd actually pick him. I know the younger viewers won't have seen him as Frobisher, but it does feel a bit like a kick in the teeth. Don't get me wrong, he's a great actor, but even now more than 4 years on, the image of Frobisher murdering his wife and children is stuck in my head. I simply can't get past that to see Capaldi as the Doctor and I know I'm not the only one.

The Vortex Manipulator bit didn't really bother me, I just assumed Jack had donated one, not necessarily his own, or that he'd got his hands on one that worked properly and had left the disabled one behind because he didn't need it.

CoE - if Jack HAD gone to confront the 456, he would have gone alone. It makes no sense to march two thirds of your effective fighting force straight into enemy territory, even if you discount the danger posed by an alien race who use viruses as a threat. That's bad strategy. I'll never understand why RTD insists on only the het couples getting any kind of happy ever after. It's only the white couples too, mixed race couples don't get happy endings either.

True, but then it's hard to be unbiased when it comes to family.

I don't believev for a moment that Gwen was in charge while Jack was gone. Torchwood wouldn't still be standing! The others may have let her THINK she was in charge, but they all know their jobs better than she does, so while she ordered them around, they just got on with what needed doing. I'll be touching on the subject in one of the fics I'm currently working on.

Jack had always admired Ianto's ability to multi-task; he was the master of doing several things at once, moving smoothly between tasks like a juggler spinning plates.

This, however, was bizarre.

A beam of light from their latest acquisition had hit Ianto while he was busily working through his 'to do' list and now, despite there still being only one of him, he was somehow managing to be in several places simultaneously, doing completely different things. Jack was getting dizzy just trying to look at him, but Ianto was delighted. He'd done a week's work in a couple of hours.

The End
