Eyes that Bind
...
The sun cast a gentle glow over the city, and the morning was alive with the hustle and bustle of people going about their day. With the end of the annual Race and follow-on parties, the city felt like it was taking a break. Hinata had decided to take a stroll after leaving the spa, hoping to clear her mind and enjoy the tranquility of the day. The mud bath had been just what she needed to relax. Now her body felt like it was floating as she strolled down the street.
As she wandered through the busy streets with the noonday sun beating down on her she stopped at an ice scream stand to buy a large cup, Standing there eating her ice scream Hinata caught sight of Ino and Naruto up ahead. Her heart skipped a beat, she was filled with curiosity and the desire to join them but thought better of it, Now was not the time to stake her claim. Nevertheless, she couldn't resist the urge to see what they were up to.
As Hinata watched from across the street, Ino and Naruto moved from store to store. She followed them into the "Doll House' store and hid behind a rack of clothes, careful not to draw attention to herself, as she observed their playful interactions.
Ino's confidence and boldness were undeniable. Hinata admired Ino's fearlessness as she teased Naruto, showing him various outfits with ease. The way she effortlessly pushed Naruto's buttons intrigued Hinata, she would not have been so sly as she just took what she wanted.
Hinata couldn't help but notice the effect Ino's playful banter had on Naruto. He blushed and stumbled over his words, clearly flustered yet excited by her undivided attention. Hinata had never seen him this way before, and it made her curious to see just how far Ino would go.
As Ino piled clothes onto Naruto's arms, Hinata couldn't help but wonder if this was just a game to pass the time or if Ino had a deeper plan in mind. She found herself torn, was this a touch of jealousy, feeling like this were new to her as she always got what she wanted.
The chemistry between them was evident, and Hinata found herself captivated by the sight. Ino seemed focused on Naruto alone, and he, in turn, appeared drawn to her in a way Hinata hadn't fully realized before. Sure Ino was a flirt but this was the first time she had seen her focused on only one guy. She had always admired Naruto's genuineness, and seeing him interact with Ino made her wonder what she would have to do to catch his eye.
The pair continued to run through the racks of clothes, Ino's flirtatious teasing making Naruto both flustered and exhilarated. Hinata couldn't help but notice the way Ino made him feel at ease, unlike Sakura, whose temper sometimes led to blood and broken bones.
Their growing bond was undeniable, and Hinata felt a pang of envy for their closeness. As they reached the back of the store, Naruto's arms were full of clothes, and Ino wore a mischievous smile, like a cat with a secret.
Hinata's heart skipped a beat as Ino held up a sheer, lace babydoll and teased Naruto, testing his reaction. She was drawn to the moment, like a hidden spectator witnessing a private dance between two people.
Naruto's flustered response made Hinata laugh softly to herself. Ino had a way of making him feel both uneasy and enchanted at the same time. It was evident that Naruto couldn't predict what she would do next, and it only added to the excitement of the moment.
As Ino went into the changing room to try on different outfits, Hinata's curiosity grew. She used her Byakugan to watch from behind the rack of clothes. Many had accused her clan of being a bunch of peeping toms and it was a secret they kept from everyone that it was true. Hinata was filled with a mix of emotions as Ino showcased various sexy outfits. Each one seemed to accentuate Ino's beauty and charisma, making Naruto's heart pound louder with every new reveal.
Hinata found herself caught up in the whirlwind of conflicting emotions that Naruto must have been experiencing. It seemed that in this moment, he stopped thinking as his attention was solely on Ino.
Ino's playful demeanor never faltered, even as she tried on the most daring outfits that left Naruto breathless. Hinata watched as Ino's teasing glint challenged Naruto to keep up with her, like a dance of secrets and desires.
With each outfit change, Hinata's heart raced. The connection between Ino and Naruto was undeniable, and she couldn't help but feel like an outsider, longing to share such intimacy with him. She could wear any of those outfits and show Naruto she was more of a woman than Ino but not now, later he would learn who would be best at his side.
When Ino emerged in that captivating black lace teddy, Hinata found herself mesmerized by the way the fabric clung to Ino's curves. She had always appreciated the female form and this little show of Ino was more than she had ever expected to see. The atmosphere between them was charged with electricity, and Hinata couldn't help but feel a pang of envy.
Hinata's heart clenched as she watched Ino ask Naruto which outfit was his favorite, their chemistry palpable. The sight of Naruto's flustered response, his cheeks flushed, and his thoughts scattered, only deepened her need for him. His boyish charm was everything she had dreamed of in a man as a young girl.
Ino's playful demeanor only grew as she drew Naruto closer, her finger gently touching his lips. Hinata could sense the intensity of their connection, and it left her feeling both captivated and wistful that it was her not Ino standing before Naruto.
As Ino playfully beckoned Naruto into the dressing room, a mix of curiosity and longing overwhelmed Hinata. She watched from her hiding spot as Naruto hesitated for a moment before stepping inside, leaving Hinata standing there, her heart throbbing with unspoken feelings.
Hinata's eyes widened as she activated her Byakugan again, allowing her to see through the walls of the dressing room. She watched with a mix of shock and disbelief as Ino called Naruto into the small space and once Naruto had pulled the zipper down freeing Ino's hair she turned around, revealing herself topless as Naruto stood there helpless staring at the wonder that was Ino.
Hinata's heart pounded loudly in her chest as she saw Ino's daring move. The scene before her eyes ignited a whirlwind of emotions - jealousy, frustration, and a sense of helplessness. She couldn't tear her gaze away, feeling like an intruder in an intimate moment she was never meant to witness.
Ino's boldness was on full display as she leaned in wrapping her arms around Naruto's neck and kissed him passionately, Hinata's hands trembled with suppressed emotions. Her assertive personality wrestled with her more reserved nature, leaving her torn between storming into the dressing room and staying hidden in the shadows to watch.
"I shouldn't be seeing this," Hinata thought, feeling guilty for using her Byakugan in such a way. But she couldn't look away, unable to resist the allure of the clandestine moment before her.
As she continued to watch, Hinata's mind raced with thoughts. She had to find a way to win Naruto over the other two but this display of intimacy left her feeling even more uncertain about her own approach.
"Is this what it takes to win Naruto's heart?" Hinata wondered, her heart aching with uncertainty. Frozen to the spot as if an ice jutsu had been placed on her Hinata was a silent witness the ice scream in her hand melting onto the floor unnoticed.
…
"Do you like what you see?", asked Ino as she broke the kiss and moved back leaving her interlocked fingers behind Naruto's neck.
Naruto tried, he really did try to keep his eyes locked on hers but as she smiled at him and turned her own eyes down he had to look. Her breasts were better than he remembered, the lack of sand to hide their perfect form and hard pink nipples made his mouth water. Looking lower he clearly could see the black lace panties that hugged her hips and glancing over her shoulder at the mirror her long blonde hair ended just short of her waist giving him a clear view of the thong making his heart pound.
"Ino, I… I don't think..", Naruto started to say before Ino stopped him with a kiss.
"Oh I know you Naruto, you love this.", said Ino breaking the kiss, remembering all the times she had done this with Naruto when they were married. The fear of getting caught added a little extra spice to the encounter.
Poor Naruto had no idea what to do as Ino tied her hair into a ponytail and then ran one hand up the front of his pants as she kissed him once again.
"You've been hard for hours and acting so bashful, let me give you a reward.", said Ino sliding down to her knees before him as he looked on she unzipped his pants letting them and his boxers drop to the floor.
"Oh you poor thing, this looks like it hurts, here let me kiss it.", said Ino wrapping her hand around the base of his member and pulling it down as she touched the head with a gentle kiss.
"OH god!", said Naruto his mind and other parts filling with pleasure as he leaned back against the closed door for support.
Seeing his reaction Ino knew he couldn't last and decided not to torture him any longer, pulling him into her mouth and sucking in as deep as she could. Feeling his hands on the back of her head she wasn't surprised when after only three strokes he exploded.
His cry of passion echoed in the small room as after a full minute Ino was able to back off as his hands dropped to his side. Looking up she locked eyes with him and with a wink she gave him one more long lick before standing up.
"You're not the only one that has been wanting this, now it's my turn.", said Ino as she turned around and got on her knees on the small chair in the dressing room. Rising her rear high in the air, Naruto was mesmerized by the sign of Ino's round butt still encased in those Lacey back panties as Ino wiggled it at him.
"Come on Naruto, I know you know what to do.", said Ino getting frustrated as she reached back and pulled down her panties giving him a clean view of her most intimated spot as a line of moisture ran down her left leg.
With a growl from deep within his chest, Naruto's eyes flashed red as he moved forward and claimed his prize with one quick thrust his hips slapped against her rear and as he gripped her hips she exploded into a mind bending climate as she just hung onto the chair's back as he used her body.
As she quivered around him, he slid his hands up and cupped both her swaying breasts in his hands pulling on the hard nipples causing her to let out a silent scream as her whole body shook as she reached another peak of pleasure. This was too much for Naruto as he joined her in this ultimate height of pleasure.
The small dressing room was full of heaving breathing as they both tried to catch their breath. With his hands still full he massaged the soft flesh as he rested his forehead between her shoulder blades. Feeling he was still as hard as before Ino knew his legendary stamina could go the rest of the afternoon.
"Naruto!, Naruto let me up.", said Ino as she wiggled around until he backed off with a grin permanently etched on his face.
Now free Ino did her best to roll over to sit on the chair, with her own matching grin she pulled him close as he dropped to his knees before her seeing what she had in mind. Once in place, she raised her legs over his shoulders as he entered her once again.
"Kiss me, kiss me,", she begged as he used her once again. They passionately kissed as they built a rhythm to once again work their way to their shared release.
"Don't stop, god just don't stop.", said Ino breaking the kiss as she threw her head back and groaned loudly not caring who could hear her.
It was a minute maybe two when they both were shocked by a loud and insistent banging on the door.
"Young lady, you know the rules, No Johns in the store, you have to take him to a love hotel.", said the voice of the manager of the store as she continued pounding on the door.
"Ok, OK, I'm coming!", screamed Ino as she reached another climax spurred on by the idea of being caught. The feeling of her squeezing him as she exploded triggered Naruto to join her as he matched the rhythm of the pounding on the door with his own thrusts.
Hinata was sitting on the floor under a rack of clothes as she watched the pair hurriedly get dressed and stumble out of the dressing room to the sound of the manager yelling at Ino completely ignoring Naruto. Seeing the amount of ruined clothes on the floor she demanded payment or the police would be called.
Deactivation her dojutsu Hinata listened as they did their best to calm down the manager and pay whatever bill was given them. Ino was made to promise never to bring another of her 'Johns' to the store before she was able to leave.
As was the policy of all the stores Naruto was never mentioned even as he stood there, he was assumed to be some wealthy tourist, and calling the police on him would be bad for business.
Hearing the bell on the door sound as they left giggling Hinata stood up and left the puddle of melted ice scream to be discovered later that night she blindly pulled a sexy outfit off the rack and walked over to pay for it to leave. There was no need to make the still angry manager think she was any part of what happened.
….
Sakura was sitting on a stool at the kitchen counter with a cup of tea when Naruto and Ino came walking into the hotel suite laughing like a couple of children who had gotten away with painting the Hokage's faces.
"What did you guys do?", questioned Sakura as Ino let go of Naruto's arm and swinging the bag from the store around looked over at Sakura.
"Oh nothing you need to worry about forehead.", said Ino as she skipped into her bedroom.
As Naruto smiled and rubbed the back of his head he shrugged his shoulders and walked into his own room leaving Sakura to puzzle out what was going on until she heard the door open once again.
Hinata entered the hotel suite quietly, her heart still racing from what she had witnessed. She tried her best to put on a smile and act nonchalant, not wanting to draw any attention to herself. She joined Sakura at the counter, trying to appear composed despite the whirlwind of emotions inside her.
"What's with the bag, Hinata?" Sakura asked, noticing the package in her hand from the same store as the one Ino had been swinging around.
Hinata hesitated for a moment before answering, "Oh, just a little something I picked up while I was out."
Sakura raised an eyebrow, but before she could inquire further, Ino emerged from her bedroom, wearing a sly grin and looking around for Naruto.
As Ino closed her door with a soft click, Sakura turned to Hinata with a less-than-friendly expression. She poured a cup of tea from the pot on the counter and pushed it over to Hinata, her tone slightly cold.
"How was your day?" Sakura asked, her eyes searching for any hint of vulnerability in Hinata's response.
Hinata took a deep breath, trying to collect her thoughts. She knew that she couldn't trust Sakura with what she had witnessed at the store. Sakura had always been more interested in her own pursuit of Naruto, and Hinata didn't want to give her any ammunition to use against them until she was ready.
"I just went shopping for a new outfit," Hinata replied with a smile, holding up the bag.
Sakura nodded with feigned approval. "Sounds fun! We all need a little retail therapy now and then," she said, but there was a hint of suspicion in her voice.
Hinata felt a mix of relief and guilt. She was grateful that Sakura didn't press for more details, but she also knew that Sakura was the type to pry into others' business if she sensed something was off.
Dinner tonight would be interesting, that was for sure. With Naruto seemingly getting closer to Ino, and knowing that he had been with Sakura the night before, Hinata couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy. She knew she couldn't let her emotions get the best of her, but the thought of Naruto being pulled in different directions by both Ino and Sakura irked her.
The idea of a potential showdown between Ino and Sakura in the middle of a restaurant brought a devious smile to Hinata's face. She relished the thought of seeing them clash, each trying to stake their claim on Naruto. It would be a catfight for the ages if those two ever really let loose.
As they finished their tea, Hinata maintained her composure, hiding her true feelings from Sakura. She knew that showing any sign of weakness would only make Sakura more suspicious. Hinata was determined to keep her emotions in check and face whatever challenges lay ahead with a cold, unwavering confidence.
With that, Hinata stood up, "If we are going out I need to find something fitting to wear." she said walking away. She knew that she had to be strong and assertive, not only for herself but to maintain an image that would keep others from prying into her business. Naruto was the prize and she had never lost a battle in her life.
….
The evening sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink as the three kunoichis and Naruto arrived at the fancy restaurant overlooking the sea. Ino sashayed in her sexy off-the-shoulder blue dress, drawing more than a few glances from both the staff and other patrons. Sakura followed with grace, her conservative sundress covered in flowers contrasting with Ino's bold attire. And lastly, Hinata confidently walked in her form-fitting bodysuit that hugged her every curve pulling all eyes off of Ino and onto her. Naruto was somewhat oblivious to the dynamics between the three girls as he looked around the room.
As they settled at their table, Naruto's eyes darted from one girl to the other, oblivious to the subtle undercurrents in the group. "Wow, this place is fancy!" he exclaimed, his excitement apparent as he studied the menu.
Ino smirked playfully at Sakura, exchanging a knowing glance, but Naruto remained clueless to their silent communication. Sakura smiled back at Ino, playing along with the unspoken game.
"I'm glad you like it, Naruto. I thought we could treat ourselves tonight," Sakura said, keeping her tone friendly. "When Killer B gets here tomorrow we won't have time for a night out."
Hinata chimed in, her confidence radiating as she spoke, "It's a nice way to celebrate after all the training and preparation we've done."
Naruto nodded enthusiastically, "Definitely! I can't wait to try the ramen here! It's supposed to be legendary! I wonder if Killer B likes Ramen," laughed Naruto, "Who am I kidding everybody loves Ramen!"
Ino leaned in closer to Naruto, her flirtatious nature on full display. "Oh, Naruto, you should really try some of the other dishes too. I'm sure they'll be just as amazing as their ramen," she purred, her fingers lightly brushing against his arm drawing his attention to her and her low-cut dress reminding him of what he had enjoyed earlier that day.
Naruto blushed, seemingly oblivious to the hint, but enjoying the attention nonetheless. "I'll take your word for it, Ino!"
Sakura rolled her eyes playfully, "Don't let her distract you too much, Naruto. We're here to enjoy the food and the view." As she said this Naruto felt her foot run up his leg, she had taken off her sandal and she was able to use her toes to great effect.
Hinata couldn't help but chuckle softly at the dynamic between the three. She felt a mixture of annoyance and amusement, knowing that Ino's tactics were as subtle as a brick, yet Naruto remained completely unfazed. Using the menu as cover she used her Byakugan to see what Sakura was doing. This may turn into a very interesting night if this keeps going on.
As the dinner progressed, the conversation flowed naturally, with Ino and Sakura occasionally engaging in subtle one-upmanship. Hinata, on the other hand, maintained her composed and confident demeanor, not allowing herself to be dragged into their rivalry.
Naruto seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself, blissfully unaware of the unspoken tension between the three girls. He laughed heartily at their banter, occasionally making a clumsy attempt to add to the conversation. With Hinata sitting across from him she would give him a playful smile whenever he looked at her.
The evening sun gradually dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with shades of purple and gold. The atmosphere was tinged with a mix of emotions, each girl vying for Naruto's attention in her own way.
As dessert was served, Hinata decided to take a more direct approach. "So, Naruto, what do you think of our outfits tonight? Do you like them?" she asked, her voice carrying a hint of mischief.
Naruto looked at each girl in turn, his brows furrowing slightly as he tried to comprehend the question. "Uh, yeah! You all look great! But, um, I don't really get fashion stuff," he admitted with a sheepish grin.
Ino burst into laughter after spending all day shopping with her, she found Naruto's innocence endearing. "Oh, Naruto, you're so adorable!" she said, placing a hand on his cheek. "You don't have to understand fashion to appreciate how beautiful we look tonight."
"I worked hard today to find this outfit," Hinata said, her voice dripping with confidence as she gestured to her skin-tight black bodysuit. "I mean, look at it. I picked it up at this little store at the edge of town called the Doll House," she added, her eyes locking onto Ino's with a challenge.
Ino's composure faltered for a moment, her shock quickly masked by a practiced facade. She knew Hinata was trying to rile her up, but she wouldn't give her the satisfaction. Instead, Ino maintained a fake smile and shrugged casually. "Oh, the Doll House? Yeah, I've been there once or twice," she replied, attempting to downplay her surprise.
Naruto, still oblivious to the tension between the girls, focused on the food in front of him, eagerly digging in without a care in the world.
Sakura, who was caught in the middle of their rivalry, tried to keep the conversation light and focused on their mission. "That's right. We've all been working hard to save the village. Let's keep our focus on that," she said, her eyes shifting from Hinata to Ino.
Ino couldn't help but shoot a look of irritation at Sakura. She knew Hinata was trying to bait her, but she also felt the need to assert herself. "By the way, forehead, you remember to wear underwear this time," Ino said, a sly smile on her face as she recalled a past incident.
The flash of anger on Sakura's face was evident, but she quickly regained her composure. "Why, yes, thank you for asking. Unlike some, I don't make it a habit to forget such basic things," she retorted, her voice tinged with annoyance.
Hinata watched the exchange with a hint of satisfaction, her plan working better than she had expected. She knew that both Ino and Sakura had their own plans for Naruto, and she wanted to assert herself as a contender in the game.
I don't understand why you bother, you have nothing to hide, said Ino looking at Sakura's small chest compared to her own, this made Sakura flash a devious smile. "Oh, Ino, if you think a little extra padding is all it takes to win Naruto's heart, you're sorely mistaken," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Unlike you, I don't need to flaunt myself to get his attention."
Hinata leaned back in her chair, pretending to be uninterested in the escalating confrontation. She took a sip of her drink, hiding her amusement behind a poker face. The girls' rivalry was in full swing, and she was enjoying every moment of it.
Ino's eyes narrowed, not backing down from the challenge. "Oh, you're right, Sakura. I don't need to flaunt anything. Naruto is drawn to confidence, and unlike you, I have plenty of it," she shot back, her words laced with venom.
Sakura's smile only grew wider, her taunting demeanor getting under Ino's skin. "Confidence, huh? More like arrogance," she retorted, leaning forward to meet Ino's gaze head-on.
Hinata couldn't help but find the whole situation amusing. It was like watching a fierce competition between two stubborn bears over a pot of honey, and she was content to sit on the sidelines and let them duke it out.
Ino smirked, eyeing Sakura up and down. "You really think you stand a chance, forehead? Naruto needs someone who can be bold and assertive, not a weak little girl like you."
Sakura's eyes flashed with anger. "At least I'm not a superficial flirt like you, Ino-pig! Naruto deserves someone who's genuine and doesn't play mind games."
Hinata couldn't resist chiming in, her tone biting. "And he certainly doesn't need someone as insecure as you, Ino. Always seeking validation from others and trying to one-up everyone to hide your own weaknesses."
Ino's eyes narrowed, her hands balling into fists. "You think you're so special, Hinata, just because you come from some prestigious clan? Naruto needs a woman who can handle herself in a fight, not some delicate flower who's too afraid to take risks."
Hinata's jaw clenched, but she refused to back down. "And he doesn't need a shallow gossip like you, Ino. You're always talking behind people's backs, pretending to be their friend when you're really just using them for your own gain."
Sakura crossed her arms, glaring at both of them. "And what about you, Hinata? Always lurking in the shadows, using those eyes to spy on everyone, and too scared to speak up for yourself. Naruto deserves someone who can stand beside him with confidence, not a wallflower like you."
Hinata felt her temper flare, her eyes flashing with her dojutsu. "I may not be as loud and obnoxious as you two, but I have my own strengths. I have the Hyuga clan and its thousands of years of refinement, and I'm not afraid to protect the ones I care about."
Ino laughed mockingly. "Oh please, like Naruto would ever choose you over someone like me. He wants excitement and passion, not some boring, shy girl who can't even express herself properly."
Sakura smirked, a wicked glint in her eyes. "And you think he'd choose you, Ino-pig? He's not interested in a girl who's only good for a one-night stand. He wants someone with substance, not just a pretty face."
As they continued to trade barbs and insults, Naruto remained completely oblivious to the battle that raged around him. He laughed and joked, completely unaware of the undercurrents of tension. His lack of experience with people showed as he couldn't tell between insults and jokes as the comment flew back and forth.
The tension in the air was thick, the girl rivalry escalating to new heights. Each girl was determined to prove herself worthy of Naruto's affection, and they were no longer holding back their true feelings. As the desert was placed in from of them a white pudding with a chocolate swirl that reminded Ino of one more thing.
"You know, Sakura, I may be a pretty face, but at least I didn't chase after a traitor, crying that I love him as he tried to destroy the village," Ino said, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she stabbed her spoon into the middle of the swirl in the pudding.
Sakura's eyes blazed with anger. "Love him? I'm ready to rip his heart out if he so much as looks at me sideways," she retorted, her voice filled with venom.
Naruto finally understood what they were talking about and tried to intervene. "Hey, don't talk about Sasuke like that. He's my friend," he said, but his words were drowned out by their yelling.
"Shut up, Naruto," they both yelled at the same time, their glares never leaving each other as they sat on either side of him. Only Hinata noticed the look on his face – a flash of fear and then anger – as the betrayal and belittlement sunk in.
"I need to use the restroom," Naruto mumbled, getting up without Ino or Sakura noticing, as they continued their staring match.
Hinata could see that he wasn't running away but rather trying to hide from the pain. Without a word, she pushed her chair back and followed him, determined to offer him the support he needed.
As she caught up to him just outside the restaurant, she gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "Naruto, are you okay?" she asked softly, her concern evident in her voice.
He turned to look at her, and she saw the pain in his eyes. "I don't understand why they have to be so mean," he muttered, his voice choked with emotion. "Sasuke is my friend, my first and sometimes I think my only friend, why do they have to say such mean things."
Hinata nodded understandingly, her heart aching for him. "They're both hurting, Naruto and sometimes people say hurtful things when they're hurting," she said, trying to offer him some comfort.
He let out a frustrated sigh. "I just wish they could get along. We're all on the same team, right?"
Hinata smiled gently. "Yes, we are. And I believe in you, Naruto. You have the power to bring people together and make a difference. Don't let their words bring you down."
Naruto looked at her, his eyes searching for something. "Thanks, Hinata," he said, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Hinata nodded, her heart swelling with affection for him. "Anytime, Naruto. You can always count on me." Without a second thought, she pulled him into a tight embrace, wrapping her arms around him as he let out a choked sob, seeking comfort in her warm and inviting hold.
Hinata held him close, her gentle touch conveying a sense of reassurance. She could feel the weight of his emotions, the pain, and frustration he had been carrying all this time. At that moment, she knew that he needed someone to be there for him, to understand and support him.
As she held him, she whispered softly, "It's okay, Naruto. Let it out. I'm here for you."
He clung to her, finding solace in her presence. The warmth of her embrace felt like a safe haven, a place where he could let down his guard and be vulnerable.
Hinata gently stroked his hair, offering him the comfort he so desperately needed. She didn't need words to convey her support; her actions spoke louder than anything she could say. She was there, wholeheartedly, for him.
After a few moments, Naruto's sobs began to subside, and he pulled away slightly, looking into her caring eyes. "Thank you, Hinata," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
She smiled softly, wiping away a stray tear from his cheek. "You're welcome, Naruto. Always."
At that moment, as they stood there together, Hinata felt a sense of fulfillment. Her plan had worked, and their bond had grown even stronger. Despite Ino and Sakura's attempts to capture Naruto's heart with their bodies, it was she who had shown him true affection and support.
As Naruto looked into her caring eyes, Hinata sensed a deeper connection forming between them. She could see that he appreciated her presence and the genuine care she offered. It was only a matter of time before he would recognize the significance of their bond, surpassing the superficial relationships he had with the other two girls inside.
Hinata knew that she showed him affection that went beyond mere infatuation or rivalry. She genuinely cared for him, and it was evident in the way she held him close and offered comfort during these vulnerable moments.
"You want to go back inside?", asked Hinata
"Yeah we should, we can't just leave them there.", said Naruto but before he could move Hinata pulled him into a kiss and before he could pull back she made sure to leave a mark of lipstick on his cheek.
"Ok, let's go.", she said as he looked at her not understanding anything that was going on.
As they approached the dimly lit corner table, the group could see that Jiraiya had already convened with the girls. With a sly nod, he gestured to the empty chairs, inviting them to join the clandestine gathering. "Come, sit. I have excellent intel," Jiraiya said, his voice hushed and secretive. "My scouts have just reported that the genjutsu perimeter stops approximately two miles outside the village and shows no signs of expanding." He leaned over the table, glancing down at the small toad perched there, donning what looked like a miniature camouflage outfit, complete with a tiny matching hat.
"The good news is, we've been able to penetrate the village's borders undetected. The genjutsu seems to have no effect on summons like us. Everyone inside the village is moving around in a trance-like state, performing repetitive tasks as if stuck in a dream," the scout toad reported.
Naruto's eyes widened with curiosity. "Did you spot Kakashi or Sasuke?" he inquired, momentarily forgetting about the tensions from earlier.
The scout toad nodded. "Yes, they were both at a training ground, practicing the Chidori technique," it revealed.
Ino leaned forward, her expression eager. "Do you think the Chunin Exams will still take place?" she asked, hoping for any hint of normalcy amidst the chaos of the genjutsu.
The scout toad hesitated slightly, then replied, "It's quite likely. Unless they're actively searching for signs of the genjutsu's influence, individuals tend to fall under its control rapidly. One of our team members was ensnared as soon as they entered the genjutsu's range."
The group exchanged glances, contemplating the implications of the information.
"If it's not growing then we have time to talk to Killer B and get the Sword of Totsuka.", said Naruto it was then that both girls looked over at him and noticed the smear of lipstick on his cheek.
"Sakura has done research on the sword have you told them what you found.", said Jiraiya not letting any teenage love triangle get in the way of saving the village.
Sakura nodded, taking charge of the conversation again. "Yes, I've been researching the Sword of Totsuka. It's a powerful weapon that can seal its victims into a genjutsu realm for eternity. If we can obtain it, we might have a chance to break the genjutsu and stop the creature," she explained, her tone serious and focused.
Ino still staring at the lipstick on Naruto's face said, "So, we split into two teams. Naruto and I will go meet Killer B and try to obtain the Sword of Totsuka, while Sakura and Jiraiya continue gathering information about the monster and the genjutsu,"
"What? Are you crazy we can't split up now.", said Sakura
Seeing her plan shot down so quickly Ino just crossed her arms and stared at them.
"So how does the Sword of Totsuka work anyway?", asked Naruto always the peacemaker.
"In order to wield the sword's power, one must possess a certain affinity with genjutsu-based chakra manipulation. By channeling their chakra into the jug containing the sword, they can materialize it in their hand," explained Sakura, her expression serious. "The blade itself is ethereal and incorporeal, able to pierce through the physical form and seal the victim's consciousness, leaving their body as nothing but an empty vessel."
Sakura paused, considering her own abilities. "I do have some knowledge of genjutsu, but I'm unsure if I have enough chakra to fully unleash the sword's potential."
All eyes turned to Naruto, who felt the weight of their gaze. He knew he had little to no proficiency with genjutsu, and the thought of wielding the Sword of Totsuka seemed like an insurmountable challenge.
He glanced over at Jiraiya, who was busy scribbling in his notebook, seemingly absorbed in his thoughts. "I know, I know, Jiraiya to the rescue," Naruto mumbled, attempting to ease the tension. "But if something happens to him, one of us will have to learn how to wield the sword."
Jiraiya finally looked up from his writing, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Indeed," he said. "While I'm here to help save the village, it's essential for one of you to master the sword's abilities just in case something happens. The fine chakra control for Genutsu of this type is very similar to what Med Nins use, Hinata, with your chakra versatility, you might be the best candidate. The level of chakra control for the gentle fist is as great as any medical ninja and you don't have as small of a chakra reserve at Sakura."
Sakura looked at Jiraiya as if to say she could do it but knowing that without the "Strength of a Hundred Seal" and the time it would take to store enough chakra she would not be able to use the sword for more than a few seconds before being drained of chakra. She hoped that Naruto would be able to use it and she would be able to spend more time with him training on its different modes. Now until she is able to get the Byakugō Seal she would have to work with Hinata.
"Do we know if lady Tsunade is in the city, she would be a great help.", said Sakura thinking her old master would be able to apply the Byakugō Seal as she did in her old timeline.
"I know what you're thinking," Jiraiya responded, shaking his head. "But as long as the old man is still alive, she won't return to the village. There's so much bad blood between her and the Third Hokage that nothing short of him dropping dead will bring her back."
Jiraiya reassured Sakura, "I have a small army of spies following her around, and even they struggle to keep up. My last report places her somewhere in Tea Country."
Naruto, unaware of the underlying tension between Sakura and Hinata, interjected enthusiastically, "This is still great news, Sakura! You can work with Hinata to learn how to use the sword."
Sakura forced a smile, attempting to hide her reservations about spending extensive time with Hinata, whom she still saw as a rival. She knew she had to set her emotions aside and focus on the greater mission at hand but still, why couldn't Naruto see what was going on?
Naruto looked at Jiraiya and asked with anticipation, "So, have you heard when Killer B will be in town?"
Jiraiya nodded a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yes, we got a message back. Killer B is coming as fast as he can. He can't wait to sing for the whole city."
Sakura's eyes widened with excitement, and she felt a surge of adrenaline rush through her. Finally, their plan was falling into place, and they were getting closer to obtaining the Sword of Totsuka.
Hinata, always observant, noticed the spark in Sakura's eyes and the hint of rivalry in her expression. Hinata knew that Sakura was determined to prove herself, especially with the pressure of mastering the sword alongside her.
Naruto, oblivious to the subtle tension between the two girls, grinned. "That's great! We need to be ready when he arrives," he said enthusiastically.
Hinata saw this as an opportunity to prove her worth and gain an advantage over Sakura. "I'll make sure we're well-prepared for meeting Killer B. Sakura, you can count on me to learn how to use the sword effectively," she said, her tone self-assured.
Sakura nodded, swallowing her pride as she realized that for now, she had to cooperate with Hinata. "Right, let's focus on getting the sword first."
As they discussed their plan further, Ino, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "I'll gather information on Killer B and the club where he'll be performing. Knowing more about his habits and whereabouts could be helpful."
Naruto grinned, pleased with the teamwork finally coming together. "Great! We'll each play our part, and when the time comes, we'll take on whatever challenges come our way."
Jiraiya watched the group with a mix of pride and concern. He knew that teamwork didn't come naturally as they all came from different timelines, each of them started with their own goals in mind.
"Ino, here is the list of the five clubs we sent to B, I am not sure which one he will pick so you better check them all.", said Jiraiya ripping a page from his notebook with the club names.
"Thank you, Master Jiraiya,", said Ino giving him a little bow of respect.
"Now, kids, I have to go. There is some important business I need to take care of," Jiraiya said with a sense of urgency, picking up the scout toad and safely tucking it away in his pocket before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
Naruto beamed, thrilled that their plan was finally set in motion. His excitement couldn't be contained as he looked at Ino and Sakura. "We're really doing this! It's going to be amazing!"
Ino, who had been meticulously going over her list, nodded in agreement. "Absolutely! I need to talk to the club managers tonight to ensure everything goes smoothly and they know who to contact when B shows up." With those words, Ino jumped from her seat and with a wave and a smile headed out to smooth her way with the club managers.
Meanwhile, Sakura couldn't help but shoot a suspicious glare at Hinata as Ino walked away. She was still convinced that Hinata had kissed Naruto earlier, leaving a smear of lipstick on his cheek. The rivalry between the two girls had grown more intense, and Sakura was determined to prove herself as the better shinobi.
Hinata, on the other hand, felt Sakura's glare as a challenge. She knew that mastering the sword of Totsuka would showcase her skills and prove that she was more than capable of handling such a powerful weapon. It was her chance to finally show Naruto she was a formidable partner.
"I think I am going for a run on the beach, I can't sit still waiting for B to show up.", said Naruto as he pushed his chair back. After tonight and all the drama, he needed some space and time alone to think.
Now alone, Sakura and Hinata stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. Hinata took a sip of water, her eyes never leaving Sakura's.
"I'm surprised he still has that much energy after what happened this afternoon," Hinata said, her voice laced with a hint of mischief as she casually, took another sip of water. She savored the way Sakura's eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting that response.
Sakura's eyes narrowed as she clenched her fists under the table, trying to maintain her composure. "What do you mean?" she asked, trying not to let her curiosity show.
Hinata leaned forward, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Oh, you know," she replied, her voice teasing. "The little rendezvous in the dressing room."
Sakura's eyes widened in shock, her face turning red with embarrassment and anger. "How do you know about that?" she demanded, her voice shaky.
Hinata shrugged nonchalantly. "I have my sources," she said using her Byakugan to remind Sakura she could see into buildings.
Sakura's fists clenched under the table, and her face flushed with anger. "How could he?" she muttered under her breath.
"Well, it's not like you two are married or anything," Hinata pointed out, relishing the opportunity to rile Sakura up even more.
"We're not, but... Ugh, this is so frustrating!" Sakura exclaimed, running a hand through her hair in frustration. "I thought he liked me, not Ino!"
Hinata leaned back in her chair, a smirk playing on her lips. "Seems like he has other interests," she said casually.
Sakura felt a surge of anger and jealousy, but she refused to let it show. "I don't need to prove anything to you," she said defiantly. "Naruto and I have a special bond, and nothing you say can change that."
Hinata raised an eyebrow, not buying Sakura's act for a second. "Sure, keep telling yourself that," she said with a smirk.
Sakura shot Hinata a venomous look. "Shut up! You don't know anything," she retorted, her voice trembling with emotion.
Hinata chuckled softly, seeing her rival's vulnerability. "Oh, I think I know enough," she said smugly.
Sakura narrowed her eyes at Hinata, a smoldering intensity in her gaze. "You think you're better than me, don't you?" she spat, her voice dripping with disdain.
Hinata met Sakura's stare head-on, her resolve firm. "I don't need to think it. I know I'm better."
The two girls locked eyes, neither backing down. The rivalry between them had been simmering for far too long, and now it was reaching its boiling point. The guests at the restaurant continued to eat all around them but some could feel the cold killer intent flashing between the two as they quietly talked.
"You're just trying to get closer to Naruto," Sakura accused, her anger getting the best of her. "You'll do anything to steal his attention away from me."
Hinata's eyes flashed with indignation. "I'm not trying to steal anything from 'you'," she shot back. "Unlike you, I actually care about Naruto. I've always been there for him, even when you were too busy with your own agenda."
Sakura's cheeks flushed with anger. "You don't know anything about me and Naruto, you never came out of the shadows always there but never saying a word," she said through gritted teeth.
"Oh, You know that wasn't ME," Hinata replied, reminding Sakura she was from a different timeline, her voice firm. "But I know You, you're more interested in being the center of attention than in being a good teammate. Always chasing after the strongest, first with Sasuke then Naruto"
The words stung, and Sakura felt a surge of anger and hurt. But she refused to back down. "I don't need your approval on who to date," she said defiantly. "I'll prove myself to Naruto and everyone else, I can stand on my own without anyone."
"How are you going to do that without standing on someone's shoulders? You have always used people to get what you want, crying and begging until they gave in just to make you stop. I don't think you care about anyone but yourself.", Hinata said, her eyes hardened.
Sakura's cheeks flushed with anger. "I care about Naruto more than anyone else," she said through gritted teeth. "I'll prove it to him, and I don't need you getting in my way."
Hinata turned red as her emotions shined through. "Prove it then," she challenged. "But remember, actions speak louder than words."
Sakura's fists tightened even more. "Fine. Just watch me," she said defiantly.
And with that, the two girls stood up, their rivalry still simmering beneath the surface as they both wanted to impress Naruto. As they left the restaurant, each girl had a strong desire to win his heart and show him that she was the one he could rely on. However, they were unaware that their rivalry would soon face challenges that would push them to work together and confront their differences head-on.
