The following day, and we see how Lisa is dealing with everyone else seeing them in town, and also after the announcement of the condition Lisa is in, along with her mother, Caroline. Their future is just beginning. Enjoy reading this folks!

"Linnaeus Family of Two."
(Linnaeus house.)
The morning comes onto Royal Woods and Lisa Linnaeus is fast sleep in her bed, and someone comes into the room and runs her hand through her messy brown hair and that someone is her adopted mother, Caroline Linnaeus.
The woman smiles at the sight of her sleeping daughter, and so she places a kiss on her cheek and this makes Lisa shift in her sleep. "Lisa, come on sweetie. Morning is up and we have a big day ahead of us."
Lisa slowly opens her eyes and she smiles seeing her mother. "Good morning, mommy. Is it time to go to school?"
Caroline chuckles hearing this. "No, no it's not, Lisa. It's still summer vacation, we have a lot of fun to spend before school even begins my daughter." She then hands Lisa her glasses. "Come on, I made breakfast and yes I learned from the cook book."
Lisa soon sits up and looks to her mother. "You could've asked me to come with you and help, I wanna help you mommy. I don't want you to do the hard work and chores alone, mommy."
Caroline smiles at this kind act from her daughter and she pulls Lisa close to her for a hug. "As your mother, I wanna do what I can to make sure you're alright and feeling fine. Also, as a mother I have to do the work and then when the time comes, I'll know when I need help."
"Alright mommy." Lisa smiles at the embrace she's getting from her. "Mommy, after breakfast, can we go to the park today?"
Caroline is shocked she would ask this, and this also concerned her. "Well, I don't know… Well, I guess we can. But we have to be careful, we are sorta new in town and we don't want people to be mean to us. We need to be careful around us, alright sweetie?"
Lisa nods. She then departs from the hug and she goes over to the bathroom, Caroline smiles at the way Lisa is now. 'Gone with the genius mind who wishes to finish her twisted science work and care less, and in with the Lisa who feels more like the little girl she truly is.'
'But, I recall from what the doctor said. As she grows up, she might keep learning and understanding, and thus her mind would revert to a smart Lisa, well not a genius Lisa, but still a smart Lisa. I need to be careful with her, and while she's like this, I might as well spend the best moments with her.'
Caroline gets up and then she looks out the window. 'This is it. The time for us to spend a day out of the house, we spent a whole day in her and I guess it would sound better to have some fresh air, but I think Lisa might have a plan for… Wait, she wants to see Darcy.'
(Ketcham Park.)
Caroline and Lisa have arrived and they're dressed for this summer time day.
Caroline's attire: white shirt inside of a yellow sleeveless jacket, light blue skirt and black leggings, white socks and yellow shoes, her hair is in a ponytail and she's wearing light blue glasses, and a wrist watch.
Lisa's attire: light green t-shirt with a sun logo on the back, light brown shorts and brown shoes with white shoe laces, and she still has her glasses and now she's wearing a flower hair pin.
The folks of the Park spot them and are surprised to see the Linnaeus family has arrived into the park, they have heard about the condition Lisa is in and that she is no longer the same devious little genius that she was before and that she's nothing more than some little girl as any other from her grade.
Lisa waves to some of the kids, and they still seem cautious seeing her, after what she did months ago, some folks are still afraid of what she's done and the same goes with the woman she calls her mother.
Caroline sees how much the folks don't seem pleased to see them there. 'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.' She then sees the smile from Lisa as she looks around the Park. 'But this is what she wants and some nice outdoors time is what we both need.'
Caroline and Lisa do see some friendly faces around the Park, and they come in the form of Lincoln, Loona, Luna, Moxxie, Millie, Lucy, Luan and Mara Mayberry. They all seem to be enjoying this nice and peaceful time at the Park, and so they should do the same as well.
Lincoln and Luna are both tuning their guitars alongside Sam and Loona sits by the bench not too far from them and she goes through her phone. Moxxie and Millie are skipping stones by the pond and Lucy and Haiku are both talking to each other with Lucy's Demonic Wyvern Edwin sleeping next to them.
Luan is doing a routine with Benny, she has a big gig at a comedy club, and she wants to make sure she does it with a tag team partner, and not too far is Mara Mayberry reading a book by the benches, a few feet from where Loona is.
Lisa then looks to her mother. "Can I go to the playground, mommy?"
Caroline smiles and nods. "Sure, but please be careful."
Lisa smiles. "Thank you mommy." She hugs her mother and then she goes over and plays by the sandbox. Caroline Linnaeus sits by the bench and watches her daughter play by herself.
But soon, Lisa is joined by someone she knew once. "Hello, Lisa." It's her former best friend, Darcy Helmandollar. "Do you want someone to play with you?"
Lisa smiles. "Sure, we can make a sand castle, or make a sand snow man, or sand man… I don't know what people call it."
Darcy giggles at this. "Let's make a sand house, and then a sand castle." Darcy was liking this side of Lisa, sure she wasn't the same smart Lisa, but she's friendly now and more fun to be around.
Caroline looks around the Park and she sees some other folks still not happy to see Lisa again, and this concerns her. "Having trouble with a kid being back in town?" she sees the sinner, Mara Mayberry sits next to her. "Trust me, I know the whole cliché, I went through the same thing… Sort of."
"Good to see you and Lisa out of the house, and seems like you guys are having it hard with everyone trusting Lisa's back into town, huh?" asked Mara Mayberry.
Caroline Linnaeus sighs and watches her daughter play with Darcy as they use the buckets to make a castle together. "She's not the same as before. Lisa has changed, and she wants to make amends for what she did, even if she has no clue what trouble she did cause, I think."
"The past is the past, and we did make a terrible mistake that would've costed the lives of the whole world, but we wanna make up for what we did and we already went through hell and high water. I don't want Lisa to be out casted, she deserves another shot in life, and with me by her side as her mother."
Mara Mayberry knows how she feels. "Yeah, we kinda got the whole idea too. Luan came back to town, and a lot of folks didn't seem to trust her because of the past she did and the madness she spread as a megalomaniac with the pranks and all that shit. But, she's changed and now look…"
"Everyone has seen through her old ways, and now they can see that Luan is nothing more than a changed teen who wants to make a better living here in town and find her own talent without the past coming to make her into someone horrible."
"I am glad I made the plan to adopt her, otherwise I don't know where she would be now." Mara Mayberry then looks to Lisa who then stops playing at the sand box and she joins Darcy by the slide. "Lisa is going to go through the same thing, but soon others will see just how changed she is and that will prove that she can be trusted again."
Caroline smiles seeing this, Darcy is the one person who seems to be alright with Lisa and her change, and she's not alone. Soon, three more kids at the same age as Lisa go over and play with them and one of them is David.
"Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be too concerned. We can handle this new life together, and we can make the best of it. Thanks for the talk."
Mara Mayberry nods. "I'm an Elementary School Teacher and you're a Middle School Teacher, soon. We both have our own ordeals and the life we wanna have with the kids we call family. Also, you do realize Lincoln Silva Hound is headed to Middle School, right?"
Caroline recalls. "Right, well this should be an interesting moment for me…"
Mara Mayberry then asks. "He did his charms on ya back then, didn't he? Did you strip in front of him?"
Caroline Linnaeus blushes. "Let's not talk about that, please." But deep down, she recalls the way Lincoln spoke to her and how it turned her on. 'Keep you're cool, Caroline. That was before, and this is now. Lincoln is… Oh god, this is gonna be hard for me.'
(Night time.)
As night falls, Caroline Linnaeus checks on the number of cash they still have and she smiles at the massive amount still saved. 'Well, we still have enough. We shouldn't spend a lot of it, and wait till I finally have my job.'
She then sees the time, and so she leaves the office, but then she looks back and sees how the office looks. 'Hmm. When we do have a lot of cash saved up, I should have this office decorated. Looks dull in here.'
She then closes the door to her office and then she goes down the hallway and she sees the bedroom of her daughter, she opens the door and she sees her daughter, Lisa is dressed in her green onsie and she goes into bed.
Caroline walks in and Lisa smiles seeing her. "Mommy, I was going to see you and tell you I was ready for bed."
Caroline smiles and she sits on the bed, alongside Lisa. "I decided to come and check on you. Do you want me to read you a bed time story?"
Lisa nods. She then goes over to the book shelf and she grabs a book, and then she hands it to her mother, the woman smiles at the book. "The Star who wanted to shine. Alright then, let's get you ready for this."
Lisa goes onto the bed and she lays her head onto the pillow, and Caroline tucks her in. she then sits onto the chair nearby and then she begins to read from the book. As she continues to read to her daughter, she doesn't notice the drone watching them.
The drone then flies off and then goes through a small portal that leads back to hell.
(Somewhere in Hell.)
Tannins looks through her tablet at what her drone has seen and then she sees the drone come back and so she lets it land onto the charger. She then looks to the essence of Lisa's thoughts within the machine. 'Looks as if I have done Lisa and that woman a favor, to make them into their own family.'
'With Lisa no longer in her prodigy state, she becomes less of a threat and not much of an issue for me. This is a good thing, but I must remain vigilant. I do not know when she will regain her mental genius thoughts, and thus she would become conscience.'
'Lisa seems to have a regenerative memory and nervous system. She may be in the mind of a simple minded dumb child, but soon, when the time comes she will become the Lisa everyone knows, and thus she might exact an attack on me for what I did to her.'
Tannins smirks. 'Well, I will let her come for me. She is nothing compared to the genius within my thoughts, Lisa Linnaeus means nothing and is…' She then sees Athena come back and with lots of stolen metal and tools. 'Lisa is pathetic and worthless.'
