This is just some usual stuff going around the town of Royal Woods, especially to the new person in town, and the duo who have a lot to talk about after their chat with Lincoln last week, and some future plans once next month arrives, and I wanna say thank you to "ReptileEdge" for the target and client too, it's gonna be so fun to make that one next chapter. "The usual before summer ends."
(August 23. Royal Woods Mall.)
The day is still young and we now see Michelle Lewis, and she walks into the one place she has been chosen for a job, and that place is Reiningers…. Wait, hold the phone. What? What happened to Gryphon's shopping?!
Michelle looks to the readers. "Okay, so I got the word that they were closed down. Because they didn't had enough cash to hold their stay here, and so they told me the bad news, kinda sucks but this makes sense. I mean, the place is filled with so much expensive stuff for folks to not afford."
"I mean, you'd have to be super dang rich to buy something there, and they just have one or five customers and they mostly look around at what they can afford. So, I got the call from Leni's friend and now, I'm working someplace else."
Michelle walks into the store, and she meets with her boss, Ms. Carmichael. "Hey, boss. So, which shift am I in?"
Ms. Carmichael smiles. "Follow me." they walk through the store, and she even sees Fiona at the register alongside Miguel and they wave towards Michelle and so she waves back to her co-workers. Then her boss explains.
"Alright, so I need you to check the inventory and also figure out who the heck has been taking all of the scarves and I think you might be able to solve that one. Next are the pink bathing suits, we need to have them removed from the box and ready for the sale tomorrow, and the mannequins need to have them on as well, and this weekend we switch them with the back to school gear."
"Then once the afternoon comes, you along with Fiona will be folding the new jeans and then you're gonna be helping Miguel unload the many new shoes that have to be setup on display, and replaced the sneakers so the new shoes can take their place. After that then you can have your lunch break."
Michelle nods and then she sees something. "Ms. Carmichael, I think I found your thief."
Ms. Carmichael sees her son, he grabs one of the scarves and then he goes and hides someplace else and this surprises the woman. "Okay, thanks. I got this, I just need to know why he would take them." she goes over to confront where her son went.
Michelle then goes to the back to start her shift, she then sees Fiona and Miguel give her the thumbs up, and she nods and then heads to the back. "Well, time to get my day started. This is just beginning and…." She then sees the many boxes with many bathing suits.
Michelle smirks and she cracks her knuckles. "Well, let's get started then."
(Linnaeus House.)
Caroline Linnaeus comes out of the house through the backyard and she sees her daughter, her five year old daughter, Lisa. She's under the shade of a tree and she watches as the butterflies fly by and head for the nearby flower garden and this makes her smile.
"Lisa, you want something to eat?" Caroline sits next to her and she hands her some sandwiches and some orange juice.
"Thank you, mommy." Lisa takes a sandwich and a glass of orange juice. "This is delicious, thank you mommy."
Caroline smiles and she places a single kiss on her forehead. "You're welcome. I did what I could to take in the lessons of making a good sandwich from the Silva Hounds, and this is pretty delicious." Lisa nods, but then she has something on her mind and Caroline can see it. "Lisa, what's wrong?"
Lisa sighs. "Mom, we should let that…. What was her name? Tannins…" This shocks Caroline. "She should be let out, because I know she hurt us, but she also got hurt, and also… even though I am scared of her…. She brought us together."
Lisa then holds the hand of her mother. "She did this to us, she made us into the family we are now. Mommy, what would happen if I was still a smart and bad little girl? What would happen if she hadn't had taken me away? We would still be hurt, and no family."
Lisa then goes over and hugs her. "Mom, we have to let her go. She can be kept watched by Linky, and she's already been hurt enough. Tannins… She is a scary lady demon, but…. She's sad, and she has feelings. Please?"
Caroline can tell, that this means so much to Lisa, and deep down, she wants to speak to Tannins as well. Caroline then hugs her daughter. "Alright, alright Lisa. We'll talk to Lincoln, and then we'll see if he can have Tannins come out, and also see what she has to say."
Caroline then thinks to herself. 'Because deep down, I wanna thank her for bringing Lisa and I together. If she had never claimed us both, then we wouldn't have known the truth of what we were meant to be, and if she had never…. Experimented on my little girl, then Lisa would've still been a mess.'
(Tall Timbers Park.)
Right now, Lincoln Silva Hound is sitting by the lake shore and he skips some stones and smiles when he sees something prowling the waters, and that something is his four-legged shark pet, Vark and he's enjoying his time in the lake.
"Hi, Linky." Lincoln sees Leni sit next to him. "You enjoying the park today?"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I am. But what the heck are you doing here, Leni? I thought you'd be back at the hotel to help the others? Also, is Lori here?"
Leni smiles. "Linc, I'm getting a day off and I'm waiting for my friends to come also. No, Lori is not here. Heck, she's getting ready for her next date when next week comes, along with her upcoming venture to college, when it's September 1. I mean, she has always dreamed of going to a business career and course in college, but she'll settle with what the town has."
"She still has golfing skills, but the thing is…. It's not good enough, she's having issues and those issues are shaky hands when she holds the stick to play golf… Lincoln, she's still under shock after everything that went down. Her memories are deep in trouble and golf, is the one thing she doesn't wanna have in mind."
Lincoln didn't see this coming. "Leni, maybe this has something to do with…."
"No, this has nothing to do with the time she had in hell…" Leni sighs. "The chances of her playing golf, will bring back the bad times from when she hurt you, back when you were in that dumb squirrel suit. She hurt you, and it brings back dark and twisted memories, and…. Hell, seems far better than facing those past memories that haven't left her."
"Lori is changed, and adapting but…" Leni sighs and then she sees Lincoln hold her hand.
"Everything's gonna be fine, perhaps if you let me talk to Lori, then we can sort this out, alright Leni?"
Leni smiles and she nods, then she hears her friends Jackie and Mandee call her. "That's them. I gotta go." she then kisses Lincoln on the forehead. "Thanks Lincoln, and I'll let Lori know that you wanna talk to her."
Lincoln nods, and he watches as Leni goes over to her friends and they go off and hang out. Lincoln then goes back to watching Vark swim around the lake and then he thinks about this. 'Lori. We talked many, many months ago and… I guess there are some bad memories that are not too easy to fade away.'
Then Lincoln hears his phone go off. "Wait what?" He sees the text from Delilah. "Huh, what do we have here?"
Delilah. Guys, this is an urgent ordeal for the client, and the target is not gonna be an easy to take down ordeal. This seems bigger than any of the stuff you guys have fought. So, here it is.
Client: Selina Valory, works at a Gothic store and is also a private investigator and former detective. She was trying to solve the case of a murdered and that murderer is named Mary Dollson and she has to be taken down. Selina was killed at the location where she found her suspect, and went missing. She's dead.
Target: Mary Dollson, also known as Mother Puppet. A celebrity on social media, and she dresses as this marionette-like gothic doll, and she has a dark history, she is a serial killer and she likes to kidnap babies and make them into her puppets, because she cannot bear children.
She has possession of something dark and treacherous and the client knows what it is, she has been studying on what it may be. This demonic relic, can allow her to control and make servants out of anything or anyone who goes near her home, and sometimes she takes folks lost in her woods.
She was dubbed dead after her old hideout was found and was set ablaze, or so they thought. She lives, she's dangerous, crazy and not done with her damned business. She will strike, she will attack and she will not let anyone stop her from what she seeks, her own little family.
Request: Caution is advised: This woman is not an ordinary human, she possesses something dangerous and deadly and she is located on the northern peninsula of Michigan. She has something in her possession, take it away from her and beware of the puppet army she has, she will use them and most of her puppets, aren't even small dolls. Take her down, and end her life, do not let her soul continue onward.
Lincoln is confused from this and then he looks to the rest of the text from Delilah.
Delilah. Guys, we'll need some sort of plan on how we can sort this out. You guys can't go in there guns blazing, she might get the upper hand and you're all gonna be in deep shit trouble. We need a meeting, and then we can strike. The others got the message too.
Lincoln thinks about this and then he has an idea. 'Well, then. Time to let an overlord who smiles get into the fight. I hope he's in the mood for a surface attack against someone with a demonic artifact, surely the Radio Demon will want that, and then… We need to inform Lucifer about this.'

A/N: Things are working out for everyone as things keep going, but it doesn't seem like it's gonna be a walk in the park when their face a target, who is beyond anything they have faced, so time to face this dark force with a demonic relic. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.

Okay, so just to inform everyone... Yes, i did saw the Helluva Boss episode 6 Truth Seekers. I must say, it was intense and that shit won't be going into this story until I have finished Lincoln's Birthday. So, everyone calm the fuck down.Everything is gonna be alright.
I already know what I have planned for the whole stick and I wanna know if anyone else here has something to add for that incoming chapter. PM me guys and I'll see what you dudes got.
