"Seriously?" Dan asked. "You wanna just sit, ere and wait for Mr Potato Head to attack?"
"No." Thirteen sighed as she looked over at the others. Ten looked at his feet. "No, I am not saying that."
"What exactly are you saying?" Ace was the first to speak. "Professor?"
The Doctor sighed heavily. "I am saying you stay here. You all just stay here. So does he." She nodded to Ten who's jaw dropped. "I mean it. I am going to talk to their commander. You stay here."
"No." Yaz stated firmly. "You have to stop ditching us."
"I am NOT ditching anyone. I am keeping you safe."
"That's what you said before. When me and Sheffield ended up in the 1920s for four years." Dan glanced at Yaz as she glared at the Doctor. "Just don't leave people behind. We aren't all a liability."
Thirteen snapped, hands on hips she looked around the room. "Is that what you think I do? I shouldn't even be here. I am my own history. You know how weird that is? That." She pointed at Ten. "Is my past. I have no idea who my future is. Or where they are. I have no idea what is going on, there's a whole Master forcing my Regeneration thing going on and there is just a slight chance. A very slight chance that I am walking to my death. That there are no more regenerations." She avoided looking at Yaz as she spoke. "And do you know what? I am not taking any of you with me." She marched into the TARDIS, slamming the door behind her before the Blue Box evaporated.

"She's gone." Ten stared at the space where the TARDIS had been. "I."
"You really have no idea what is going on, do you?" Graham sighed. "Come on son. Lets get you a drink. You look like you need it." Ten shrugged his shoulders.
"Who needs plans?" Ten sighed as he slumped back in the chair, his face set like stone. He remembered the time the Arachnos had almost destroyed the planet, when the Nestine Conscious and the Witches Doomfinger and Lilith had nearly ripped Time apart he had always had someone to stop him. Donna, Martha or Rose. They had been there. Now his most recent incarnation had gone after the Sontarans alone. He had no idea how she was going to be kept inline. To keep her right. He just prayed there was something that they could do from Earth to make sure she was able to come back to them.
"You think she was right?" Ian asked. "The Master messing around with Regeneration? That he has taken all your future ones?"
"Could be." Ten sighed. "Like she said. I am her past. I shouldn't be here. And neither should she. Only thing is, none of us know what should be. Humans, you are born. You live and then you die. Its a fairly simple trajectory. Not so for us Time Lords."
"Yeah we get it." Mel rolled her eyes. "Time Lords. Special."
"No, well yeah." Ten stated. "But different species. We are born, then grow up and we don't die. We don't die. We age, we decay and then we change. Only there's only so many times that can happen. Only reason I regenerated at all after the eleventh time was because of River Song." He sighed, thinking of the Red Haired archaeologist. He had no idea why he remembered her, knowing she came into his life after his time. "But right now, that is not important."
"Exactly." Yaz agreed .
"We have to get up there. See what is going on with the Sontarans and we have to work out how. Now, if Ace and Graham can stop making eyes at each other." Both blushed furiously. "We can get on."
