This was Jack's worst nightmare made reality. Captured and trussed up by giant alien spiders, his skin crawled as he watched them scuttling around, binding the rest of his team with their webs.

Paralysed by spider bites, they were helpless and seemingly doomed, until with an ear-piercing screech the cavalry arrived.

Myfanwy swooped low, her beak stabbing at the spiders, her talons slashing. They tried to bite her, but her leathery skin was too tough for their mandibles to penetrate; they couldn't produce their web fast enough to cocoon her.

Never had Jack been so glad to see the Pteranodon.
